I can personal guaranty this is the very best University. The professors actually really care about the students. Having to pay $50 to have a tire mounted is ridiculous. I have to supply my own weights because they never have black weights, they never remember to put the valve caps back on and after I had to have the tire remounted because it was put on the rim backwards. I will be purchasing my own machine and do it myself. Atleast the staff is friendly and easy to get along with. I give the staff 4 stars, I'd give Cycle Gear 1 only because they already have a tire machine.Chris Wroten

I will 100% shop here again. I was buying gear for the first time when I went in. The selection was great and covered a lot of styles for both looks and type of riding, and the employees were extremely helpful. Being new to motorcycles in general I had very limited knowledge on gear and what to trust, but Gabby walked me around the store to show me the selections, made recommendations, and explained how everything should fit.WhipLash2313

Ever since I got my first bike a few months ago this shop has basically been my second home. Everyone one of the employees which I know by name now has been extremely helpful In steering me in the right direction with the right gear and tools. The gear they recommended has protected me a nasty 60 mph high side which I landed on my head and a fun little low side just yesterday. All the gear all the time people ride safe!Dark Wolf

STAY AWAY PLEASE , I wish I could give negative stars . It saddens me that LSU will use your pet as a project, yes I get it , it is a teaching clinic/hospital. I took my cat there on 10/25/2021 right off the bat they wanted 1,055.00 dollars not even 24 hours later another 2,000.00 dollars, I knew he had feline leukemia and was at the end of the battle, when he went he was only a little over 4 pounds , They knew he would not make it much longer , I took my cat to 3 different vet clinics in search of a cure or something to prolong his life , he has diarrhea very bad like water , also when I went to the first LSU vet visit with oncology I took all of his medical records, blood test results from 3 vet clinics that was all done with in 1-2 weeks before going to LSU , but yet they ran the same test the previous clinics ran and found nothing different, when I first got to LSU , they wants 1,055.00 dollars, the next day not even 24 hours later they called again wanting to run more test and about 2,000.00 dollars, my cat ended up passing in October 31, 2021. LSU knew he was not going to make it much longer but they would not tell me that , I am not a veterinarian and I k ow he would not have made it much longer, but they did not tell me that because they wanted to run up his medical bills as high as possible. As an LSU student, I was under the false belief that the LSU vet was a good place to bring my dog. First of all, they charge you a lot of money upfront just to get in the door. I had to bring my two month old puppy to the emergency vet as he was sick and throwing up. As a broke college student, I had to contact my family for their assistance in paying. The staff was extremely impatient as I waited for my family to help me pay for the vet visit. When they saw my puppy, paired with the fact I was waiting for my parents to pay, they suggested euthanizing him because he "didn't look good". Once I paid for a parvo test and it came back negative, I was told that it's not definitive and I need to pay hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars more to run a bunch of other tests. It's clear the practice is concerned with only making as much money as possible. We decided on just giving him IV fluid (which they highly suggested against, again to make more money). A few months later, my puppy is healthy, happy, and active; which he wouldn't be had I taken the vet's advice and euthanized him. In short, DO NOT send your pets here!M T

I’ve had many experiences with the vet school and they’ve tended to our epileptic dog in status seizures more than once and done an OK job. The veterinarians are typically professional and kind while the front desk staff is substandard. However, LSU’s entire process, whether for an emergency visit or not, is truly miserable. The icing on the cake though was speaking to the on-call student (?) consult about an overnight emergency situation with our Lab and having her laugh over the phone while insinuating I was overreacting. Having her diminish the situation and having to euthanize him the next morning due to severe pain/poor prognosis from a tumor bursting leaves a pretty bad impression. The euthanasia thankfully was done by his non-emergency vet with tact. All to say, there are probably worse options out there but I’d rather go anywhere else for our animals needs.Elizabeth Gillen Bergeron

This is a fantastic campus. My daughter is currently a sophomore here studying Chemistry. The residential apartments are beautiful, modern and up-to-date. Big brains come together to learn & fostering an environment that is conducive to learning & advancing the future via medical technologies. My mother worked here & as a child, I roamed the halls being a lookey-lu & even now, I am astounded by the advances of medicine & the medical community. I love the LSUHSC Community at large as they get it & understand the major undertaking of the health & well being of the Greater New Orleans Area; what a some what daunting yet accomplishable task. Love the campus expansion & I think it makes for a more comfortable & welcoming environment for students & staff alike.Teneha B

I have no idea who answers the phone in the Opthalmology Department for patient intake but she's rude and incompetent. I called at 3:10pm on08/19/20). Cutting me off before I can finish giving her my address, can't give me the doctor's names when I ask for them so I can do research prior to my appointment, making unreasonable requests when I explained that I'm a new patient who relocated from out of town and I've having my medical records faxed over from a hospital in my previous state and my contact information won't match. She also sounded puzzled when I informed here that I couldn't prove my insurance card number because I haven't received it in the mail (I'm on state insurance). Like, I'm seriously probably going to just go with a Rheumatologist at Oschner instead, because this is ridiculous.Rachel Johns

My daughter saw Dr. Brown last month and I've never been more disappointed in a drs office than I am with this one. At no time was I told that they file their claims a certain way that makes patients have an outrageous bill afterwards. Then when I called to ask the clinic how they file, all the girl could say was "wow" and that I needed to contact billing. Billing, however, said it was something the office would have to explain. They are not to most polite group to deal with either. Sad that because of this we are going back to her ENT for future appointments.Angela Brumfield

I Luv Dr. Jessica Brown. Her Office Staff are great with scheduling and are very courteous to me and my kids whenever we visit there. I absolutely would prefer anyone with Asthma to her because she does an excellent job with my Sons and is very Excellent at her job/craft. They always treat me and my Sons very well. Dr Brown is amazing for asthma and sleep medicine! She takes her time with each patient making sure she doesn't miss anything. I get a detailed after visit summary each time also. She has helped my son so much with sleep and his asthma. Highly recommend.Erin Guest
