This is how far out my truck sticks even when it's kissing the pillar behind it. School would rather give 6 million dollars to its basketball coach rather than use it repaint larger spaces in their parking garage and to build another parking garage to include more parking. Must pay to do homework online. No one available to answer phones at any department ever. Staff is poorly trained, unprofessional, and not knowledgeable about their departments. Arrogant teachers who will yell at you for something as simple as using your phone. Counselors are always backed up for a month, which could be fixed yet again by redirecting funds, but that doesn't make money… I could go on and on, but I will end with that this is the least accommodating and most poorly run business I've ever paid for. They treat the students like they only want their money, but then don't even treat them like real customers. The only saving grace this school has is that it's clean. Would transfer if I had the money to. EDIT: Had to change my rating to one star after the campus decided to start citing students for lack of parking permits early this year without notification. Seriously, they have the time to spam us with these stupid Rebel News articles every week, but not enough time to send an email about something that actually matters? Was able to get my covid-19 vaccine shot here. The staff and volunteers did an excellent job of moving people through the line quick and efficiently. The setup was planned out very well so that everything just naturally flowed through the student union building. There was plenty of parking available as well. Everything was by appointment only so be sure to set that up before you go. My appointment was at 1:30 and I was done and back on the road by 1:55 and that is with a mandatory 15 minuet wait where they have you just sit to make sure that you don't have an adverse reaction to the vaccine. I definitely recommend getting your shot here if you are eligible.Wayne Davies

I love being a patient here. I never have to wait longer than 10 min or so in the waiting room. It's a very clean place with great service. My doctor always lets me know what is going to be done during my visits and gets it done fast and efficient. They let you know how to properly care for your teeth. I would recommend being a patient at the UNLV dental clinic. Great experience.Amallely Gutierrez

I visited the Henderson facility but the classes I wanted wasn’t offered there so they referred me over to this campus. I was told I did not need an appointment with anybody to gather the information that I needed so that I could make a decision about attending school once more. I drove 25 miles to this campus…upon entering the school I was impressed by the cleanliness and the modernity of its buildings. Sad to say this is where the the fancy ends. I went straight to the information desk to ask where I could find the information. after fumbling about for 5 minutes, the student working behind plexiglass nervously hands me a stick it note. Written on the note was a phone number she insisted I call instead. I thought to myself how strange this is. I was expecting directions to an actual person or office and not a darn phone number I could have looked up myself without driving 25 miles. I walked a way from the clueless information desk to find answers on my own. I was eventually directed to student recruitment and got to speak to a guy named David. David turned out to be more clueless than the information desk lady. The guy sat down on his desk, flipped his pc monitor so I could see, and fumbled through his own colleges’ website. I don’t think he even knew how to spell the name of the program I was looking to get information from. Alas he gives me another phone number on another post it. I left without any more information about the degree I wanted. Absolutely none! For an institution that is supposed to offer higher education, these employees should be embarrassed about themselves. I will not be attending this school, nor would I recommend to anybody seeking to further educate themselves. Shame!Paul P

It’s an okay school. The class sizes are small no more than 50 people. Campuses are large, clean and really quiet which is great for studying, but the social scene is nonexistent. Everyone has different schedules which makes it difficult to network and make friends. I love that parking is free and abundant! Professors are ok, but there were a couple I found to be unapproachable and rude. One of my recent instructors, an older woman, would always stare me up and down like she was insecure or something lol. The staff in general just seems like they hate their life. I didn’t have problems with financial aid until my last semester. I think they’re doing some illegal activities now such as hoarding our grants. I was supposed to get the recent HEERF grant when I was one of the first to apply and accept it but never received it. They also tried to reduce my federal pell grant when I qualify for the full amount. UNLV offered me the full pell grant amount so IDK why they lowered mine when it should be consistent no matter what school you decide to go to. I’d recommend getting your associates here and then transfer to UNLV to save. UNLV has a more upbeat, friendly vibe. Make sure to be pushy with financial aid because they will try to shorthand you.B

I was just there on Monday, I was told a lot of misinformation. I’m considered and out-of-state student.I spoke to a financial advisor and he seemed nice, he saw on my profile that I owe $5000 in balances.. he doesn’t say a word. I finally see financial aid and they also fail to tell me that I owe money. I finally see the cashiers desk and then it’s printed on my paper that I owe a balance, me being confused I didn’t understand why. The lady at the cashier desk awkwardly told me to see financial aid and ask them. I do that and the woman who I spoke to the first time told me that I won’t be getting a refund . AFTER SHE JUST LIED TO ME BECAUSE I SAW THE SAME WOMAN IN THE FINANCIAL AID LINE. Unfortunately I just couldn’t pay for classes so I had to drop them. Very disappointed!! Just to note I was approved a pell grant but it wasn’t enough. I would’ve had a balance of $3000 to pay off.Kay Kay
