20 Best Medical Assistant Programs In Long Beach, CA (2022 Updated)

I love and loved South Coast College. The best thing about it was its staff. From its court reporting instructors to its paralegal program, everything is taught and intended to provide the student with the best opportunity to leave its halls with knowledge superlative to that of students from anywhere else. What are your chances of obtaining a position in the legal office as a court reporter, paralegal or legal assistant? That is probably what I should have asked myself prior to obtaining a "less-than-godly" student loan! I graduated mentally prepared – but financially not quite ready to work at the rate at which most legal firms hire those fresh out of school! Although I work in a field completely unrelated to that in which I was trained (I graduated from the paralegal program and am one of two people now running a surgical company.) At this time, the courts in Los Angeles and Orange County are hiring court reporters, while deposition agencies like Hahn and Bowersock, Regal Court Reporting, Barkley have all been hiring — keeping graduates busily engaged. I've been involved in the occupation for nearly 25 years. Yes, it has been challenged by electronic recording, but that comes and goes. Its what people make of their own choices in life. Today I am seeing this as a great opportunity for anyone with an entrepreneurial spirit who is willing to jump in and take advantage of the varied paths the skill of court reporting can provide including court and deposition reporting, as well as CART (steno-interpreting for the hearing-impaired) and captioning live television. I think financial aid is run by Dr.Seuss. It’s a literal circus. They barely answer the phone and Stacy is brutal. I think she wrestled in the WWE. I simply and politely asked about my financial aid app and she punch me in throat so hard I started singing Ave Maria. I didn’t even know I knew the song. This is a great university with students from all around the world, very beautiful buildings, gardens and sport facilities. It was a fantastic experience to study there for an year and enjoy such a nice atmosphere. Just be aware that you need a car to travel in weekends, for Riverside itself does not have many attractions, though it's a cozy city.Michael Rachid

Beautiful campus. So green. I love the Eucalyptus trees. It’s quiet in certain areas and social in others when students are around. A little something for everyone. Nice pathways for both walking and cycling. There are benches all around the campus to provide ample sitting areas to either just rest or to study with solar powered charging stations.Sajleen

I wanted to add to this review, which was that I had read through these other reviews here on Google before I signed up for their programs and I have not gotten that experience. I put in the request on a Friday for two of the programs I finished and received TWO of my diplomas in the middle of the next week. I also live 4 hours away from the school, so it may be different depending on where you live. I have been taking online classes with them since the pandemic started. It takes a lot of dedication but I've earned my certificate in Health Administration, my Associates degree in Health Information Technology, and I'm in my last semester for my Bachelors in Healthcare Management. Since I've been here, I've learned a lot and I feel very prepared for the workforce, a completely different field than what I was in before. I found some of the classes I have taken to be very interesting and fun. The instructors are awesome and so are the staff I have met over the phone so far. I LOVE this school it has been a great catalyst for the positive direction of my life and career. With Fremont College I have my Massage Therapy Sports and Rehab AS and my Healthcare Admin and Management BS. I don't know too many people that can confidently say they use their degrees. I 1000% do! I am still a massage therapist and the sports and rehab knowledge gives me a competitive edge. My Bachelor's degree has helped me to progress into management roles in current field with confidence. I always say I have gotten so far in life thanks to this school and not going the tradition university route. It was very beneficial to me that the length of the programs were much shorter than traditional schools and that I was able to apply what I learned almost instantly. As a young man going to college for the for the first time, this was a great experience for me. I thought I would hate college, since I hated going to school my entire life, but wow this college is awesome. The school is really small. You will learn how to get around with ease. The campus is also on a hill, and surrounded by lovely nature, trees and animals of All sorts. Which I personally love. The tutoring system is amazing and I’m completely satisfied. I really abuse the math and English tutors everyday! The library is beautiful (my favorite place). The food though could use improvements though, but that’s about it. 99% of people are very friendly so it’s a great environment for me personally. I never thought I would love going to school until now thank god wow! I will never transfer to another college I love this place and I can wait to start school again. Rio Hondo has evolved so much since i first started taking classes in 2006. One of the things that hasn't changed is the attention and support that the staff give the students. Many new buildings like the library have been reconstructed and updated to accommodate the return of all the students back to campus after enduring the pandemic. Alos a good place to hike. you can take the far side entrance by the police academy and continue on up the side road all the way to the top. its pretty challenging but the views are great. Im currently taking a ceramics class, and its quite enjoyable and you get to take home all your completed work.Andrew Ramirez

Best Community College I have been to, they have a lot to offer. Their programs help to guide students into their specific major. The career counseling helped me realize which career I want to be in. Also I found the math lab very useful and they even offer it Saturday mornings. They have the best staff who are very knowledgeable and caring and listen to you and offer the best advice to achieve your individual goals. From my first experience there it is very overwhelming while it confusing to move through the campus and find were to go at first, once you visit continuously it becomes much easier. I transferred here because it offered a program I wanted to take. The first time, the class was canceled due to there being not enough sign ups. Fine. That was Spring and now we’re in the Fall semester. Once again, the class was canceled. It was canceled 1 week before the 2nd session was to start. I now only have 2 classes (a 3rd one was dropped because it overlapped the class that was eventually canceled). My teacher is cool so, no complaints. My online class…. it takes my teacher 2-3 weeks just to grade your work. I’ve done online classes at other schools and was graded within the week. I’m going back to my previous school. I chose this college because it was ranked as one of the top ten community colleges in California for online courses. Diversity is great, many certificates and degrees offered, and the counselors I’ve spoke with over the phone were polite and helpful. They wait until more than a month into the semester to process student loans – and the form should specify that it’s for the year. I filled it out thinking it was only for the semester. No return emails from financial aid in the matter. Overall I would recommend WLAC, but their admissions and financial aid offices need to work on responding to students.Jason G

The school was okay. The admission office is terrible. I enjoyed the professors they have great ones. Working here was bad there’s nepotism and favoritism allowed. The staff isn’t the nicest I think student should be respected a bit more and heard. As an employee here I know I tried to help as many students sincerely. The process needs to be more efficient. Beauty and peace would describe this campus. A very serene environment on the hill overlooking a big part of Los Angeles. Large acres of grass with everything looking like in order and clealiness. Towards sunset you get some incredible pictures of the beachfront. People also seeme very calm and helpful. Starbucks and other food and drink places all around the campus. The general unprofessionalism from the administration and the staff left me nothing but frustration and a refund. I was enrolled in a Veterinary Assistant program just to have my instructor “disappear” after the first day with no follow up or any information on her well being. The most information I received was hearing the course was cancelled after asking the faculty NUMEROUS times over the course of three weeks. The school itself is very deceptive and nitpicks their students for arriving a few minutes late from a lunch or if you need to take a day off. Expect to be treated like a child and watched from their cameras. The school has no problem lying to students; our class went through hell trying to get the labs, site visits, the MRI simulator program they installed 2 weeks before our class was over they promised and we paid for. The recruiters will tell you about their "associate degree" but you try to hide that it’s an associate of applied science (AAS) degree which is a degree that takes 2 years but credits and not transferable and don’t count towards a bachelor’s degree. The administration staff is not on your side. Previous classes communicated to us how the school constantly drops the ball and they’ve been waiting 3 weeks for the school to pay the fee so they could take their ARMRIT tests and get their certification. Students who fall behind on their payments have been harassed despite paying what they could and being fully aware they can’t graduate without paying the balance. A teacher we had for a few months did not have a teaching skill set and was often rude and inappropriate to students that asked questions. The school had issues with this teacher in the past and had to re-teach all of physics to the previous MRI class as a result but the school brought him back not only for our class but again for the class that followed ours. We were amazed that after all we went through and the negative history they still brought him back. The school attempts to be fast paced and rush the studying but doesn’t supply good teachers, good books or good resources. The anatomy book for example is intended for massage therapists and physical therapists. At the time of our class there was only a single skeleton missing many pieces. There is no physical MRI simulator here, only a hospital bed and a construction laser line hanging from the roof (See Photo). You’re supposed to lay under it and have someone set up a scan by moving the bed. Our class was promised monthly site visits by the recruiters but only had two site visits. You'd think for the $2700 a month each student pays they could invest a little into the class room and curriculum. I have literally spent my personal time making presentations and tests for the class because that particular teacher was not computer literate. You start off in medical terminology with Caesar who is a great teacher and everything will seem well. After 2 or 3 months depending on if he teaches medicolegal they move you to a different teacher and the trouble will start. Eventually our class did get a good teacher but she quit on the last day of class tired of dealing with the schools BS. Complaints result in the teacher getting in the line of fire because they weren't able to handle it themselves or the school attempting to sweep it under the rug. One class for example had a known drug user who has passed out in class high but they allowed him to return, later in the week he was found overdosed in his car. This place is just one bad decision and one shortcut after another. I was personally shown the door because I had come to the school director with class-wide issues. The owner of the school David personally came to our class and basically told us it is what is and if you dont like it you can go. Which is easy for them to say because the MRI credits don't transfer to other schools so all your money, work and time goes to waste if you leave. If you try and file a formal complaint the owner David and his staff will hold a meeting which you are not permitted to record but Silvia the director will take notes on and leave out any pertinent information that makes the school look bad. If you have a class wide complaint, follow my advice and GO AS A CLASS. They are your judge and jury so you have no recourse besides sending a letter to the ACCSC or filing a class action lawsuit but at least they can’t argue with numbers.Jeremy Boggs

PLEASE READ! DO NOT GO HERE! If I could give this school a rating lower than One star I would. I am a current student here for phlebotomy and the communication with the staff has been absolutely horrible. The coordinator that is suppose to find you site, Brittany Wilson, does not do her due diligence to get the clinics that you are to be attending prepared for your arrival and you are walking into (in most cases) a facility that is not COVID regulated, practicing unethical methods of venipuncture, and requiring you to do administrative work more than the actual internship you are there for. My classmates and I have complained to the management staff as well as Brittany herself and have gotten no where. The school has externship sites that they are not renewing the contract with and do not have insurance covering us going to these sites due to an expired contract. The first site I was placed at was Spanish speaking only, the second was practicing starting IVs and drawing blood with no gloves on, and the third that I was placed I was told that this site was fully aware of me starting on 3/15 with their clinic and notified staff (Leslie Kong, Brittany Wilson, Sylvia Espin) that I have taken off those days per that information. I EVEN HAD THE CONVERSATION OVER THE PHONE!!! CONFIMRING. Yesterday I receive an email stating that the site decided not to take me and my classmate. After speaking with Brittany Wilson no less than two days ago. This is ridiculous. This school just wants to take your money, not give you the proper supplies for education, and is not a reputable business. Nor as an academic facility do they have a library. Im a graduate from NP College I completed the Medical Assistant course. The school was great and the staff memebers are very helpful and nice. My recruiter was Maria Razo she was great and very helpful throughout the whole course i was there. Any questions or concerns i had her or Jeovanni help me.the hours are felxable and The material for each course was well explained and instructed. After the terminology and anatomy comes the hands on which i felt i learned so much from and made it more comfortable when i went out in the field. My teacher explained and showed us each technique well and gave us confidence when we felt like we couldnt do things and when it came for our final my teacher help me prep for the test and passed the first time. Graduation was great also. Over all the school was great and when graduating the school helped me get a job at HealthCare Partners right away and ive been with them for 6years now thanks to them helping me get here. So yes i would recommend this school not just for there Medical Assistant course but there other courses as well so take the time and if your looking for a career go check them out finacial services will also help you to see your payment options.KaT G.

PROS: -Nearly all of courses are open enrollment, which makes it very easy to enroll. -There is a range of classes and many of them are offered both online and on campus. -The staff are very friendly and helpful. -The refunds department is very helpful. -Enrollment is easy to work with. -Certificate programs can be more applicable to real world than some undergrad degrees Neutral: -There is a clear distinction between UCLA and UCLA Extension. Cons: -No student ID cards are issued to extension students -Generally excluded from using library, recreational activities, some other resources that require a student ID. -You do not get a student email account -The extension parking permits are only usable after 4:30pm, so if you perhaps find yourself at the school to meet with your professor or student services earlier in the day, you will need to find another parking option. -The Data Science Intensive program is not worth the money. I am extremely disheartened with the deterioration in student support services. Instead of passing the buck, pretending a request hasn't been received, asking for more steps to be taken, more hoops to be jumped, and employing diversion tactics, how about we all do our jobs and take accountability for our actions or lack thereof. Another problem is the staff doesn't stick. Students don't know whom to contact for any issues. One doesn't always want to bother the academic advisor or DSO. I do appreciate new initiatives. International students were thrown out of the country on July 6, 2020. We are dealing with the trauma of a disrupted life and demolished dreams. The new circumstances are not yet favorable for international students. I applaud the efforts of the school (UCLA Extension with UCLA) to help us cope in this regard even if some instructors don't get it.Rati Tripathi

UCLA Extension has shown themselves to be incredibly disappointing in how they support their students (they don't). With the recent administration ruling, which threatened international students' stay in the states, this institution has given students zero productive updates and guidelines. Nothing on their website. Nothing on their social media. They did not reach out to their students to show any solidarity in this very difficult and scary time. Avoid this place if you can especially if you're a student planning to study abroad. Just by their lack of response /especially/ during a time as difficult as this, they will not support you if anything else comes up. I am currently in my 3rd quarter at AUHS. So far, my experience here has been amazing and I have met lots of students that have become my friends and study buddies. I admit, the nursing program is hard just like one would expect. Nothing comes easy, you have to work your way up to get where you are. It is hard, but if you talk with your professors regarding your concerns in a class, they will definitely give you tips and help you out. Also, take advantage of the tutoring and read, read, read!! You won’t learn anything if you do not read and understand the material yourself! I did not get to meet the staff right away due to the pandemic, but once I did, they were very welcoming just like how they were in the online orientations and meetings. They definitely take the students’ feedback into considerations and make sure you are heard. So far, the staff I have met in the Student Services is Ms. Alma, the registrar. She is always there in the office when you need to talk to her or have any questions. I usually go to her when I have questions (even thru email) and she will direct you to the best person that can help you with whatever concern you may have. Other faculties/staff I have met are Ms. Venus, Ms. Carlet, Professor Carter, Professor Marco, and Professor Flores! They have all been amazing to me, especially this quarter. I believe that the professors here want you to learn and succeed in the best way possible, even if this program is rigorous and challenging.Coleen Mendoza

I have been in the BSN program since 2016 and after facing many trials and tribulations as a nursing student, I can confidently say that this school is challenging and forces you to prioritize school work and a strong work ethic. AUHS prepares you to be the best nurse you can be in the real world. Dr. Atienza has been the best dean that the school has had in the last couple of years. He truly cares about students success in the program. I've had the pleasure of encountering such great personnel such as Alma from Student Services. Professor Bobbie carter is a great teacher who listens and advocates for student concerns. There also a handful of instructors who genuinely care for students learning and success. This school encompasses Christian values and applies them into community events, as a way to give back. I’m a current student here at AUHS, and so far, I haven’t really felt a significant complaint about the school. I have anticipated the challenge of the program, especially during the pandemic. It’s an intensive program; students must work hard as it is not an easy field to be in later on. I’ve always been told nursing requires students to allot time, focus, and critical thinking skills to succeed, especially in an accelerated program like AUHS’. One thing I can confidently say about this school is, they have such a fantastic staff. Student Services and Admissions are exceptional. Miss Alma in student services and Miss Maria in admissions are the best; they always cater to my needs every time I visit their offices. yesterday 7/27/2020 I officially graduated from Concorde college (MA PROGRAM) and all I can say is if you’re looking for a school to help you learn about the medical field Concorde is it. They have great teachers willing to help you as much as possible. They have a great computer lab, always open to help! The school is very well kept and cleaned! Staff also does little events here and there just to show appreciation to the students which I loved. The staff here are AMAZING! 2 staff I would really like to shout out are ARIANA HERTZ & MONICA CARLOS! Both of these woman helped me so much and went out their way to make sure i was doing great at Concorde. Security GEORGE was also such a great staff, he always would help as much as he can. But overall all staff is great, super helpful and super friendly. I felt so welcomed at Concorde as soon as I got there! So glad I came to this school because not only did I get an education but I made some wonderful friends here too. I LOVE CONCORDE💙! This review is overdue. But I wanted to wait until I had been working in my field a couple of years to review. I graduated in 2019 with my LVN, and I was able to obtain my license in January 2020. I was well prepared. Passed my nclex on the first try. But I studied and I followed the direction the instructors and staff recommended to get there. Sometimes it felt like they were dragging us through the ringer, when it came to assignments, tests, clinical etc. But it was well worth it. I started my job confident in all of the basic LVN skills. Vital signs, GT, wound care, interpersonal relationships etc. This school taught me so much about myself. If you are considering a career change; or a jump start to your career. I highly recommend. But don’t go here thinking it will be easy. You WILL have to put in the work. Also another tip, communication is key. Garden Grove Concorde is what you expect out of a school. I love this campus. I enrolled here in 2006 for the Respiratory Therapist program and graduated in 2008. During the program, they provided all the resources i needed to get through all my courses such as tutoring, 1 on 1 help, and most importantly the most friendliest, attentive staff from the front the front desk all the way to the top. i would like to mention someone who has help through my toughest times, Lynda Carlos. When i was having trouble with my application process she would go out of her way to help me. She was like this with every student and every one of my class mates love her. I do not recommend the school to anyone. I did not take the certified medical assistant exam right away and when I call them to ask them about it they said it was too late and I would not be able to take the exam. This is in fact not true. I found out I have 60 months from the time of graduation to take the exam. I misplaced my diploma and in order to get it they required me to come in in person and pay in cash and then return to pick it up. I need this diploma in order to sit for the exam and I work Monday through Friday 8 to 5. They are completely unwilling to work with me or help me. This is unlike many of the other schools available. I was very young and had no guidance at the time and will never recommend the school ever to anybody.coco cook

What makes this school great is the Job Placement Assistant Advisor Christopher Aono, he's a very Optimistic Guy full of energy always ready to help the Students. Although I only met Mr. Aono for only a month he has been very helpful for placing me in a clinic to do my Externship. From all the other staff he really reaches out from the rest by keeping in contact asking me how am doing at the clinic. The class and professor Dr. Rivera was great ! But lack of communication with students is what this school needs to fix on. It can be messy at times how they work. They give out checks and my last one was never given because it was given to the wrong student. I tried calling the school and they would transfer me to different line and it seems like no one picks up the phone at all. They just have you jumping around and it’s like no one can help you out after all and you gotta find your solution to your problem yourself.jenipher reyes

I enjoyed my training at Los Angeles Career College. I started school in November of 2021 and I am now a CNA. I passed my California state exam. The CNA course was about 6 weeks long and our state exam was done at the college. I find the school professional and extremely accommodating for the students. My class was a small group of about 7 people, but we bonded and we all passed our CNA nursing skills plus the written state exam. We had a great instructor Zianya, who is extremely knowledgeable and sincerely wanted her class to succeed. I would highly recommend the school to anyone who is thinking of making a serious career change in their life. Manana is the CNA coordinator and when I first spoke to her she was sincere and answered all my questions which put my mind at ease. Manana will take good care of you. She is dependable and reliable. I am happy to have attended this school, because not only did I meet great colleagues but also met a family for life at Los Angeles Career College. I am so happy to choose Los Angeles Career College for the CNA program. The instructors had all of our best interests at heart and really pushed for all of the students' success. The theory portion of the course was online but very thorough with the material we had to learn. For clinical we had a very knowledgeable instructor and she was absolutely amazing. She helped us learn each procedure but made it fun at the same time. She was very understanding and kind. My classmates were all super close and we were all supportive of each other. In the office Ms. Manana is full of energy and always smiling. She is a great connection to have, informative, and extremely supportive. AMAZING EXPERIENCE! The office staff was always very helpful and prompt at everything. The instructor Heidi did a phenomenal job. Very knowledgeable, understanding, funny and always had a great attitude. I fainted when I got stuck ,but the instructor was right beside me during it and made sure I felt safe. She not only made sure I never felt embarrassed or alienated from the class, she also made sure to still give us all a great experience. Update: I just had my second half of the year appointment w/ Dr. Reid. Once again, I am greatly impressed with Dr. Reid's attentiveness to her patients. I personally experience discomfort with certain procedures, but Dr. Reid not only asked should she hold off, to which I replied, "yes", but, she waited patiently as I took my time to reconsider if I want to finish my visit, without cancelling my appointment, and then continued when I was ready, to finish my visit. I'm not sure many other doctors would have extended such a safe space, for my health concerns, and the need to give me time to experience discomfort and then, muster up the courage to continue on. Whether it is fear of needles, a speculum, or just exam results – before being a doctor, Dr. Reid first is a person, and she has no problem displaying this human empathy and understanding of emotions to her patients she is honored to care for. My consultation experience with Dr Pathak at Lucent Vision was informative & compassionate & kind. I appreciated that the consultation was provided by the Dr personally. Dr Pathak kindly explained the options suitable for me in detail step by step. (In my case for correcting my vision after previously having had lasik 20 yrs ago – PRK was presented as possible option, as another lasik procedure would carry risk of creating possible scar tissue from reopening of flap; & the option of "blended vision" – correcting only 1 eye, as at age 48 my reading vision would be impacted by correction for distance vision; or option of lens replacement). For trying out what the blended vision might be like, he presented option of trying it out first with contacts, which they would provide as part of the consultation. For me, as I am currently only visiting the US short term & here only 5 weeks longer, the Dr in consideration of my best interest recommended that I choose to do surgery where I would be able to have proper follow up for a period after surgery. My consultation with Dr Pathak at Lucent felt to me like a fellow being coming alongside with his knowledge & skills to support me on my journey. It was a good contrast to the 1 other consultation I received at another clinic a couple days prior, which felt like they were trying to impress me with their nice office & equipment & make a sale. (At the other clinic I never saw the doctor who would be doing the actual surgery, as he was presumably at their other office. The attendant suggested I would be happy with "mono-vision" lasik surgery with possible PRK if flap difficult to find during surgery, with no mention of risk of possible scar tissue & no mention of option to try out contacts prior to see if mono-vision would feel right for me. There was no mention of any considerations related to follow up after surgery. And they had me leaving the office with dilated pupils from their examination, when I had relayed that I had driven myself to the appointment – I found my vision too impaired to drive back home & luckily, my brother was able to collect me.) At the Lucent Vision office, I felt more comfortable. And with Dr Pathak, I felt personally considered & supported. When I was first looking into getting Lasik, you can bet that I was looking at stars and reviews, as well as pricing of course, and I'm so glad that I found Lucent Vision. Not only were they affordable and offered payment plans so that you don't have to foot the $4K bill right off the bat (which includes not only the surgery, but meds and follow-up visits up to 3 months afterward), but I also felt like I was in great hands the entire time. Every staff member that I met was kind, courteous, and knowledgeable; and Dr. Pathak made sure to explain the entire process, including the risks, as clearly as possible without ever feeling patronizing. Appointments were easy to schedule and you never have to wait very long to be seen, and the procedure itself was incredibly efficient with a speedy recovery, and after 3 months has resulted in no complications. Dr. Pathak and staff are very friendly! Unfortunately, I wasn’t a candidate for any laser eye surgery. I was disappointed but happy to know I went to an office that was honest and thorough about explaining why I wasn’t a good candidate. Dr. Pathak also let me know about an alternative option and referred me to another doctor who could perform the operation if I decided to go through with it. It’s comforting to know they won’t take risks with your eyes just to make a quick buck! This is definitely a doctor and office you can trust with the care of your eyes.spitcher spitcher

I went to Change Sports when I injured my back and barely could move. I had never worked with a physical therapist, but after going to chiropractors for years with no relief, I thought I should give one a try. Matt and his staff worked with me for about 3-4 months teaching me how to stretch and strengthen my back and core muscles. He gave me exercises and stretching to do at the clinic and home. I haven't had a reoccurrence of the injury since I saw Matt a year and a half ago. Matt was also able to guess that I had a previous foot injury and was even able to work with my foot and toe in order to help my hip. He is really knows how the body works and knows exactly what is needed to rehabilitate and get you back to feeling normal again. The entire staff is friendly and welcoming. The clinic is super cool, clean, and always has good music playing.Erin Patterson

I was lucky enough to be hired onto the team in October of 2019. Working here helped me to develop a new understanding of what it means to provide high level care to patients. The team shows nothing but support for each and every one of the patients that come in. I was also able to learn so much from Matt through my experiences as an Aide and I have brought those critical skills with me in Physician Assistant School this year. WARNING FOR UPCOMING NEW STUDENTS! PLEASE DO NOT ENROLL IN THIS FACILITY! From the beginning of my start date to the very end of me fighting to receive my diploma this school has been nothing but unprofessional. I attended August of 2021 in the Medical Assistant Program. I had up to 5 different instructors while attending the program because the teachers themselves weren’t provided with the support they needed. I had to find my own externship location & was provided no help from career services at all. MANNY who I believe got fired told me that the medical field “doesn’t accept my kind” & that it would be harder for me to find an externship simply because I’m a male in a female dominated industry. I was stolen the education I paid for and I wouldn’t recommend a friend, a family member or even an enemy to attend this school. When I asked for help or an explanation for there errors I wasn’t given a direct response but instead the blame was being placed on us, the students. The only time I received help was when I needed to fill out FASFA documents or when a monthly payment was due. I FINALLY GRADUATED IN JULY 2022, the graduation day was a mess! No prior practice date was given and no diplomas we’re handed that day. The students & I walked simply to benefit the schools image. I had to fight to receive my diploma a month & a half later. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE. PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH & Find a better college that can actually help you. I do however want to thank TINA. I recently graduated from this school and felt as though I was robbed of my money and time. I was also not given the necessary skills or opportunities to succeed in my chosen career. Whenever I explained my issues to a crew member, they gave me no compassion. It's clear to me that this school is only interested in the money and nothing else. I had simple mental issues so would miss a day or two once a month, the school still punished me despite my notes and pleas. This school was terrible, I wish I had never gone here. I would like to give a 👎 review due there professors are really not helpful at all. Equipment for hands on training are broken. When you try to sign up they make it seem all nice and they are on you to sign up always calling but in the time when you need them for help they blow you off and do not make time. Management is poor , also when the district comes in the professors remind you not to talk to them for concerns only to professors. This school should really take time with student and teach them the right way.Bere Nice
