The staff has generally been helpful, but it's been impossible to speak with my advisor for the program I want to study. I've been trying to contact her for over a month now to no luck. Online and phone appointments both have not worked, I don't know if it's the system or her not showing up. I was told by email that I could come on campus any time during school hours to speak with her, and when I went she was not there. She told me she would call me twice now at specific times we planned and she never did. I don't know why it's been so difficult, but regardless I'll be going to school elsewhere. I've never had this much trouble contacting my advisor with a school before. Usually they want to speak with you and get you the help you need.Eden Kutch

I called wiregrass cosmotlogy department for a hair appt; the instructor, Karen Hutchson gave me an appointment the same day. My experience with the student Dacey Palma was Great; she washed my hair, blow dryed, and flat iron. The lab assistant Lesha Lee educated me on why it is important to get hair trimmed every 4-6 weeks; she took a picture of the back of my head, so I could see why I needed my ends trimmed; they were in really bad shape. Oh! The cost was affordable. Wiregrass cosmotlogy department is doing an excellent job in training their students. Thank you!Brenda Johnson

They've got learning workshops and grant money for struggling students, either academically, financially, or both. When I went to University I never had something like this. Idk if it existed, and if it did, the University never advertised it for students. Also! This school has an amazing program for those who want to work with animals. The ZAS program (Zoo and Aquarium Science) is a 2 yr applied associates program and its goal is to get you straight into your career. They have terrestrial animals and an aquarium on site! I went for the IT area. Big mistake. They could not keep knowledgeable instuctors. Was told most would be online when enrolling and after enrollment only two classes was online. They kept putting me in classes that were to advanced like one or two classes should have been done before taking. I have a issue with walking due to a previous injury had asked for assistance to the buildings and never received. I ended up leaving due to the rude and not trained instructors and it being to much to make it up the hill to classes daily. This was in 2015, 2016.Marinda Carter

I'm a recent graduate of the LPN program and currently an RN student. The nursing program for me has not been an easy one, I have run into a lot of personal challenges inside of my own life with family and other issues. One thing I know for sure, is that the staff at lake area want you to succeed and are always there to help when you need it. I don't always agree with their methods however they are always willing to listen and try to make their program better through any suggestions. The instructors of the nursing programs have a lot to deal with, students including myself are very emotional and the instructors do their best to help us power through. Lake Area technical college also has counseling available for free to any student and it is exceptional. The college wants you to succeed, they are always there to help ,you just have to ask for help. I am forever changed for the better because of the kindness generosity and patience of the instructors as well as other staff at lake area. I can't compare it to any other college, because I have not had an experience anywhere else but if you are looking for a place that you can have a good support system with people who love their job, strive to always do better, and sincerely care about you then this is the place for you.Desirae Snyder

Incompetent….called to verify my daughter's tuition amount the gal told me two different amounts. Then when I went in to pay I asked them to verify all classes and credits were accounted for and she confirmed they were. I was then given a different amount then what I was given on the phone.A month later I am told I owe them more money , when I asked why they told me credits were added after my payment was made that day. The staff obviously can't read a computer screen when asked. When I confronted them on it, I got a run around , they wouldn't take responsibility for the error. They were told that they would not get a dime if my child attends next fall until a print out of everything is given to me and all classes and credits are accounted for so prevent this from happening again. I have other children who have attended college as well as myself and I have never had a issue like this.Amanda Anderson

The medical[EMS] wing here allows injured students whom are not compatible with the requirements or functionality of the physical job requirements for that particular field. Although the Stewart's are head representatives of this college[President] as a married couple, they suppress the indigent students by not providing a job placement in the medical dictation fields after passing medical terminology and Anatomy & Physiology courses as possible candidates in the local hospitals as medical scribes. It is vital that NETCC(a tax payer college) model the First Amendment values they are supposed to be teaching to students, Today's NETCC students will be tomorrow's legislators, judges, university presidents, police, EMS, nurses, and voters, but instead they are sending the wrong message: that government can dictate that sharing the ten commandments and that Jesus died for them to be saved from the wrath of God deserves expulsion on the grounds that it hurts other student's feelings and that safe spaces are needed to also protect other students from freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and freedom of expression. Despite claiming inclusiveness and diversity as its core values, NETCC is failing to foster real diversity of thought and is, instead discriminating against Christian groups based on it's beliefs. A lawsuit needs to be filed challenging the school's assumption that it can expel student groups based on the belief that Jesus Christ is the only way to Heaven. It is a contradiction to NETCC policy for a teacher to discriminate based on religion. I personally was pulled aside by their medical director of the EMS program and told I was being expelled for hurting a student's feelings by sharing my world view, and then told by the teacher that, "Jesus Christ is not the only way to Heaven". It would be absurd for NETCC to require the vegan student group to appoint a meat-lover as its president. Lastly a good teacher that teaches EMS doesn't disrespect the appointment of men and woman who gave their lives as firefighters. The First Amendment dictates that the ‘marketplace of ideas’ on a public tax payer campus cannot prefer some viewpoints and cannot exile or denigrate others.Nor can the government force citizens to choose between exercising their constitutional rights on the one hand and participating in government-run programs on the other.” That discriminatory practice, however, became evident when school officials refused to discipline the Medical Director of EMS after an internal investigation and to expelled me. In this case charges need to be issued against NETCC and the staff. The school is favoring anti-Christian groups over Christian groups. My fundamental and clearly established rights under the First Amendment were violated by the staff and medical director of EMS at NETCC.Daniel Hamilton

The Director of the school's police Academy is a childish, unprofessional, prick!!! He soiled my name with at least 3 police departments because he didn't like me. He claimed I had a problem with my anger. His name was Richard Jones. Let me explain something about the Richard Jones situation to anyone that might read this review. Unlike many of the unsecured dudes that get into security seeking authority, badges, and a vehicle to drive their deep rooted insecurity I had always wanted to be a police officer. I grew up in the Stevens Courts projects in Texarkana, Texas and I will tell you right now that it is a misconception about the black community's view of the police. My community deeply admired the police. One of my mentors Texarkana, Texas police officer Presley as I remember would come to the projects, play football and order pizza with the young people. This forever changed my view of the police and from there I always wanted to become one. Furthermore my record has never shown any signs of me being an unstable person. I am a black man free of criminal charges and a criminal record. He decided to destroy my chances of a good paying job for my family and I because he didn't like me. Trying to get this story out there is long over due but oh yes I haven't forgot. I am currently working in the Private Security Industry but nearly finish with my Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice- I also a have a diploma completion in investigating crime scenes. Richard Jones and his academy is a non-factor in my life at this point but the fact that this was did to me has affected my career. BTW. I AM ONLY CLICKING THAT STAR TO GET TO THE PUBLISH SCREEN. This community college is not the best. There are some ups and downs. The professors barely help when asked, the administration kinda screws you over and somehow makes it your fault. Some of the online work is not the same as learned in class. When you write essays you have to use the sources from the online library the college provides and you're not allowed to use any other sources. Although if you do, you will fail. Their system is completely messed up and had someone else's credits show up as mine. I have taken several extra classes because I was told I needed them when I actually didn't. I have wasted my time and money. On the bright side there are some good professors who care and will help if asked but it seems to me that every time there is a good professor they move to other colleges.Cara Thompson

Baylor is an amazing school. For a few reviews before me we are not all "rich kids wanting to blow daddy's money" or "rude". I personally have a bad background that would not match the first statement. I am not rich. I am blessed to be in this university thanks to scholarships and my hard working mother. Baylor itself is a blessing. Its a rigorous school BUT very well worth it. I love being part of the Baylor community. Its a beautiful campus filled with loving people. Its not "perfect" because nothing is. There will be a few issues like yes there are some kids who don't care and my be rude or blow things off but really if you are a part of it you will see the majority of the campus and the people here are more than amazing and loving. This is a fantastic university for the liberal arts. I have talked to people from other universities and to those that have come to visit me at college, and all of them see a difference in the student body. There is just a different atmosphere. All the people are kind and welcoming and always willing to help in times of need. The professors are nationally ranked and are not only outstanding in their fields of study, but wonderful people as well. Even if you're not looking to go to college, its a beautiful campus to just walk around in. It's almost like a park in some ways. Just give it a visit and I promise you'll be hooked! I loved my time as I attended Baylor for undergrad, and grad school (2008-2015). The campus has changed so much since i first step foot in 2008 (all for the better). Baylor (and Waco) is in a resurgence/growth period. Its an awesome time for Baylor and Waco. I loved my time there even though I'm not religious (agnostic/theist). Great people (students and especially faculty), and community. There was a reason why I came back to get my masters at Baylor. They helped me get through some rough times, and i am better for it now. I was working on getting my Masters here, but in the end it didn’t work out. Admittedly, I had struggles in statistic work and did my best to improve, but just couldn’t quite get to the level of their expectations and so with only 3 classes left to complete my degree, I had to throw in the towel. I had an advisor that was difficult to get ahold of though and sometimes wouldn’t hear from him until the second or third attempt to contact him. Many times I felt like just an outsider in the program as I was a non-thesis student and they were more worried about their thesis students. Even when I did get ahold of him at times, he failed to get things coordinated and so I made a special trip to the school to complete something just to find out it was never coordinated. There was a couple of professors that I had a hard time following and understanding their approach to teaching the material. I asked if I could possibly take a similar class at another university and transfer it in, being that there were no other options, and that was refused by my advisor. I wasn’t the only one complaining about that class either. I use to love going to school, learning new things and expanding my abilities, but this place ended up burning me out and taking away that vigor to learn new things and pursue education. I plan to try and transfer my graduate credits elsewhere someday and finish my degree at another university.Steven Walton

Overall, this is an excellent college. It has a few problems involving students with loans and financial failure but overall the student body is cared for dearly. The president posts on Twitter often, the school representative (Jerry the bulldog) is seen around campus all the time, there are a lot of student events throughout the semester, the football team has gotten much better recently, the band is phenomenal, and the teacher to student ratio is great. I have had one lecture class with more than 30 students. Many of my classes are less than 20 students. The school tries to maintain a large school setting with a small school atmosphere. I strongly recommend Arkansas Tech to any students interested. Also, it's great to drive through and the food varies from day to day. Sometimes its great, sometimes it's not so great.Trevor Gould

Most of the bad reviews are coming from people who had ONE bad experience at like the book store or whatever or i gEt tHiEr aDs oN hUlu, though the veteran who shared his story probably has a decent case to make. Anyway I got a business degree from this college and if you actually try you can do really really well here, with great professors and programs like the honors program which gives high level learning at bottom dollar, and wonderful faculty like the folks at PTK, disability services, or the Fuller Center. Don't get me wrong, there's a lot to work on regarding graduation rates, the food, no one card system, etc but I couldn't give this place anything less than 5 stars because of all of the wonderful people who give 110% here, especially in those departments I mentioned. If you live in Worcester don't spend 30k a year to go to Assumption, you'll save so much money to come here. Seek opportunity, study for your tests, respect your professors and faculty, and most importantly, do your damn homework; I guarantee you'll be a success at this place if you do all of these things.Clark Kent

The qcc "police" are some of the most unqualified and unempathetic people in the area. There is no doubt they have no training, no expertise in law and zero idea of what they are doing. She is awful and not a good teacher in general. You will waist your money, time, and probably want to rip your hair out when she talks. I took classes after having graduated from a different university years ago. The administration here – specifically, admissions and Student Business Services – is horrible to work with. Rude, don't answer their phones, poor automated phone system, basically take your money and make you live with the poor customer service they provide because once you're enrolled, you don't have a choice, right? Additionally, I took a class from the worst professor I have ever had. His name I unfortunately can't recall. He patronized students who weren't well-versed in calculus and was rude in general. His teaching method consisted entirely of projecting pages of the book on the board and copying the sample problems. I couldn't believe it. He did not answer and student questions and did not seem to care about his students or his own abilities as a professor. I actually stopped attending the course, wasting a thousand dollars, because I couldn't sit through another class. I really like this school! People overall are friendly, and very helpful. I ll miss it here. And living on campus wasn't bad either I had a great dorm experience. Im graduating soon and I feel confident I will find a job through my hard work. Work very hard. Yes it's fun. But don't slip up your freshman year. Your gpa will be hard to get back up even when you make good grades. You got to make great grades. Don't party too hard. Education is something that should be taken seriously! But don't give up. One thing I would suggest is not being an undecided major. I regret that. In summary: Overcrowded, nearly over-priced, but with under-funded departments. Not handicapped friendly or even fat person friendly (they haven't upgraded half the lecture halls so if you're not stick thin be prepared to sit uncomfortably in a tight chair surrounded by hundreds of other people). Near non-existent diversity. Do not transfer here, you will receive no assistance. If this is all you can afford and if you manage to find a place to live near enough to campus then this school is OKAY. Honestly, should have listened to everyone discrediting this school. Cheaper ain't better. This school has stressed me out and I've only been attending for one semester. They keep changing my aid amount, will not reimburse my refund and all together have made my college experience a nightmare in hell especially with me working full-time. It always something new going on with my financial information for the following semester and new requirements that were completed prior to me attending resurfacing. Who has the time to keep re-ensuring that they're getting the money they already previously accepted? It doesn't matter how early you send your FAFSA in, they will find a way to have it reprocessed so late that you won't recieve the amount you already accepted. Very poor experience, people don't care about the disabled students, they had charged me over $1k for not helping me get into my classes and they've abandoned me in 2010. Edit: 9/14/2022 this so-called trio program from Owens community college isn't helpful not resourceful of how am I supposed to go to college, they sign me up late not knowing I'm missing out on my assignments and these advisors in the school are lazy and rude like they don't care for the disabled students such as myself. Attended Owens and completed an Associates degree in 2001. Returned to a local area 4 year college to complete a Bachelor of Science. Due to the high cost and mediocre experience. I chose to take as many transfer classes as possible at Owens. A full time semester was a fraction of a 4 year college semester. Pretty rigorous course material and most importantly, courses are well structured, you could actually work ahead following the syllabus. Students and staff are pleasant. Have my 4 year degree, and returning to Owens for certificate programs to fill in the gaps from said 4 year college curriculum.Brent A.

I transferred here because it offered a program I wanted to take. The first time, the class was canceled due to there being not enough sign ups. Fine. That was Spring and now we’re in the Fall semester. Once again, the class was canceled. It was canceled 1 week before the 2nd session was to start. I now only have 2 classes (a 3rd one was dropped because it overlapped the class that was eventually canceled). My teacher is cool so, no complaints. My online class…. it takes my teacher 2-3 weeks just to grade your work. I’ve done online classes at other schools and was graded within the week. I’m going back to my previous school. I chose this college because it was ranked as one of the top ten community colleges in California for online courses. Diversity is great, many certificates and degrees offered, and the counselors I’ve spoke with over the phone were polite and helpful. They wait until more than a month into the semester to process student loans – and the form should specify that it’s for the year. I filled it out thinking it was only for the semester. No return emails from financial aid in the matter. Overall I would recommend WLAC, but their admissions and financial aid offices need to work on responding to students.Jason G

The school was okay. The admission office is terrible. I enjoyed the professors they have great ones. Working here was bad there’s nepotism and favoritism allowed. buses and parking are nightmares here. No parking or you will have to pay everytime you park including weekend whereas other schools often free. Buses always late and full. The school not even tried to get more buses. Also, there is 40mins wait between 2 buses. Finally, unequal opportunity for on cambus job or help. We came to many departments and asked for help but they rarely tried to solve but kept saying we could not do anything. And we came back multiple time and the other did help us out. I enjoyed my time at UNT, made some great friends, and I have good memories. However, this University is not longer a place of higher education but a political activist training ground. I never thought that I’d see the day that The First Amendment would not be honored at UNT, but that is what has happened. And to think I have a degree in Criminal Justice from there is similar to being trained as an EMT by Dr. Kevorkian. The Grad program is a joke. I've never met more people incompetent of doing their job. The undergrad school should conduct training with the grad school to get them up to par. Because they dropped the ball, I now get stuck with their issues. Also the elderly lady working in billing should take a phone etiquette class. We are in 2022. There shouldn't be this many issues consistently happening. Yet, the undergrad side was on top of every single aspect. Want to speak with a Advisor, well my advisor lives in South Carolina so I can only conduct a meeting via Zoom, the college is taking ALL personal interactions away. And working individuals…well i hope your not trying to spend any time with family and friends because I leave my 40 hour week job and I do school work for 5-8 hours a night and on my weekends. Forget about spending anytime with my wife and three children….I am taking 3 classes. Don’t ask the teachers a question, they just refer you to the syllabus…well clearly I am asking you a question because I didn’t understand it. I am military, yesterday I had duty and i didn’t get my project submitted, I logged in tonight to submit the project and the instructor removed the instructions, and locked the drop box so I couldn’t submit the assignment. If I could give this institution a lower than one star rating, I would. For a community college, the course costs, books, and fees seem to be immense. I had professors who took half or more of the class periods to talk about themselves, personal topics and politics. I’ve also had professors assign English paper topics about personal things and I imagine he laughed at the student’s papers later in his free time. The required intro to college class professor had us playing with popsicle sticks and jars of rocks and sand. The certifying official for the VA office submitted my paperwork incorrectly. I dropped my classes and incurred debt because of how poorly the education at HACC is. They seem to be all about the money and not the education or students. I can’t even request a transcript for my new school because of “debts” to HACC. I no longer live in Pennsylvania and I am now attending a MUCH better school, and I am very glad. Most professors are nice but my overall experience was bad. I went here to try to accomplish a 2 year degree but every time course selection came around they didn’t have the classes I needed so I got stuck taking hardly any credits each semester. The majority of advanced classes are online only. They offer almost zero advanced courses in a classroom. So happy I made the decision to transfer. Not to mention how every time I scheduled a meeting with an advisor it either got cancelled without notice or they changed me to a new advisor who could not give me a single piece of useful advice.Kate

When I first started signing up for my MBA I advised them that I had just graduated with my bachelors degree. My goal was to start August 5, and I submitted all my necessary paperwork and cooperated as such. When it got to my transcripts I was advised I could not start because the conferral date was not on the transcripts. The enrollment specialist told me to reach out to my previous school. I did and it was a hassle. I called the enrollment specialist at Capella to advise of the updates to only find out that Capella’s registrar team had already been in contact with my school. I wanted to start on the 5th as it was very discouraging to go through the process to be turned away at last minute. 1). Total waist of time as I took time out of my day to complete orientation and do what they advised of me. 2) I asked to speak with a supervisor who was very vague and could not provide the information needed. 3) I again called Capella to try and escalate the situation, but the manager never returned my call. I feel as if they had me sign up because they were the ones to get paid for each student to enroll and failed to educate me properly in the beginning, which is very misleading and discouraging. Since no one wanted to comply and take responsibility I will be escalating this to the BBB as this is not my fault and I should had been able to start in the promised time given and should have been educated properly.Tearra McCray

The worst university ever! They made me waste my time and my money from the first day, every time I communicated with them each counselor told me something different, and more than a month passed and I did not have an accurate answer on the status of my application, after a month a person from human resources let me know that I had to do my transcripts equivalency again on another website because the one I had already sent twice to them waiting for they review it (and that they themselves told me it was okay to do it that way) was not valid for them to take me into account to start the course this past October. 1- First time the transcripts were not encrypted, so they asked my to ask the institution they send it again but encrypted this time and I did it and sent it again. And after that they let me know that didn’t work for them. So I wasted my time, my money and above all the opportunity to start on the desired date. A very bad job of the staff. Very bad communication with the students who want to start there, and they also contradict each other. They all say different things and waste your time. They are also very rude. From the beginning of my Master's level school search, Capella stood out. I had a great recommendation from a friend already, but in researching complete online programs to work with my schedule, Capella checked all of the boxes I needed. I had a wonderful experience with my admissions counselor and continue to have great interactions with all communication. I am happy with all faculty thus far and feel that I am learning exactly what I need for my future as a school counselor. I feel very confident that I will be prepared to enter the field of school counseling when I graduate. The very first thing Capella does once you are enrolled is to start you in a class to help navigate your program and get you familiar with the online format. This helped immensely and calmed my nerves for entering into a graduate program online. I feel very well cared for and have not had a negative experience yet! I really like the flexibility of the online courses, the affordability and the variety of degree options they have. My advisors and teachers have been very great but communicating with the other staff at this school is very frustrating. The employees in the financial aid department are very rude and condescending and they hang up on you abruptly whenever they get frustrated with you. The registar’s office is by far the WORST. Very nasty employees in that department who talk down to you and treat you like a child. They seem to forget they work for a college, not an elementary school. One spent 10 minutes arguing on the phone with me just because I wanted my new advisor’s phone number and email. The “career counselors” offer no type of help or advice and they just tell you to “google it” whenever you have a basic question about a certain major. They are also very judgmental if you express a desire to finish with only an associates degree and not transfer to a 4 year, not considering not everyone has the financial means to do so. The call center employees are very disrespectful and seem like they want to find reasons to argue with callers. There are also huge issues with miscommunication at this school and everyone seems to have different answers about certain topics which causes a lot of errors. Certain departments are also not great about contacting back even after leaving numerous voicemails/emails. Overall I like the school itself but they need to either retrain the employees on basic respect and customer service or they need to hire new ones.Resident Anon

The teachers here are all outstanding and they make you feel like they want you to succeed. I have taken College Algebra, Biology and Spanish in the classroom and the instructors were all topnotch. There is also additional help available to students in the free math lab and writing centers as well as Spanish tutoring. The online classes are not that confusing but you do need to pay attention because sometimes you are required to take classes through third-party online textbooks via the access codes. The only problems I had were with transferring credits to the school and getting contradictory information from the financial aid office on one occasion. I do wish the school did a better job with advising students but I understand the logistics issues. Everyone at the hub is friendly and helpful! Use them they are a great resource. To all the people that left negative reviews, I would say "you get out what you put in". This is college and you get treated like an adult.Linda Brady

Mrs Jagal never cease to amaze me. I can’t count on her to get registered for the correct classes, motivation me, and share some knowledge on everyday life. She exceeds the title as an advisor and for that, I am forever grateful. She is authentic, sensible, and overall a down to earth amazing persons. I actually attend the other campus, but have had to stop by here for books or to see the proff. So far it seems like a very organized campus. I've come at different times of the day and there's always parking (sometimes further away, but I carry an umbrella for the sun) Once there were mariachi playing outside. The employees are always very helpful & professional and most of the students appear to be engaged in their environment. The bathrooms have always been clean when I've gone. I've taken 3 courses so far and the classes have been very engaging. This is a career change for me so I'm older, but I don't feel out of place.Gracie G

I was excited about going back to school it’s been 8 years and then I get bounced back and forth from one department to another and finally they tell me you have to get in contact with the Counseling department so I did I called and sent out an email on November 4 and haven’t gotten a response 🤔 maybe they are understaffed, okay but I’ve called 5 times today November 11 and no one answered I don’t get it 🤦🏽‍♂️ I honestly I don’t. Good school. Dr. Haskins is a great teacher for the cisco CCNA certification course. All the material is provided. However, I feel as if the course is a little rushed. I understand the school is accelerated learning, but 8 chapters a week with only hearing lecture on 4 of said chapters is a lot for people who have jobs outside of school. I am almost done with my time here and I would recommend this school for those wanting to learn and possibly start a career in IT. Again, Dr. Haskins is an awesome, awesome instructor, and I hope he teaches more courses in the future.Brian Moller

I was a student here back in 2009. This was probably one of the best decisions I could've made to jumpstart my career in healthcare. I graduated from CCI while doing an internship at a Sleep Lab…The lab offered me a full time position after graduation. From there I got deep into the home health and DME industry. I really enjoyed the MA program and I learned so much. Something that I really appreciated about the school is that we had ALL the resources we need for certification studying–and all of the professors are extremely knowledgeable about their fields and gave plenty of tips and tricks for how to maximize your potential in the field. The biggest reason I'm sticking to four stars is that I had a pretty bad experience with one of my professors and I don't agree with some of the attendance procedures–having no absences excused unless the school cancels classes isn't reflective of an individual student's situation (I know this first-hand), but all-in-all, it's a nine month program, and the amount you learn and experience completely outweighs the poor aspects.Kendall Eley

I can only speak about my experiences here at Pima but I can honestly say it’s been life changing for me. I’ve completed my Registered Dental assistant program and I’m currently half way through my Radiology program and all I can say is that I’ve had nothing but good instructors in both programs. They really push you towards succeeding and the classes are well developed for you to learn. The prices are a little over the top but seeing how it’s a institute it’s expected. Overall I’ve really appreciated everything Pima has done for me, I really recommend it to anybody who wants to kickstart their medical career!Isaac Razo

I am currently on the MA program, and it has been a pretty good experience. I am able to have time to study and also work and balance everything else with it. The team of this school is very professional and really care about their students, they are always willing to help you if you need help from them. I really like that they even have tutoring to help you if you struggling in a class. The career services team is an amazing team who works with you to find the right fit for you to do your externship, so you can be successful on this new path that you have chosen.Massiel Martinez

We have delivered two babies at Houston Methodist, and we could not imagine going anywhere else to have a child. The professionalism, expertise, and overall great attitudes demonstrated by the staff here is second to none. Our L&D nurses and techs were all amazing and every single one of them went that extra mile for us to make us feel more at ease and comfortable throughout our time here. They paid attention to the details and treated us like we were part of their family. The NICU nurses showed their dedication and compassion for my son and all of their patients. I never felt worried when I would have to leave my son solely in their care because I knew they had everything under control. Every single doctor my family had shined and really showed their level of dedication they have to their craft. They never spoke down to us or hid anything from us, and they were honest, personable, and compassionate in every interaction we had with them. Even the staff we encountered in the cafeteria, health and nutrition, housekeeping, and administration all treated us we the greatest attitude. You could tell that throughout the hospital the staff had great relationships with their patients, visitors, and with each other. I don’t think you could ask for much more than that from a hospital staff. I will always be grateful for this experience they helped provide and will forever feel comfortable bringing my family here, if needed. Thank you to the staff of Houston Methodist.Macon Fife

This place is horrible. Dr. Boom needs to bring in a new staff. The people he has working under him start from the environmental director. The people from H.R. This place loves cover-up things. My Patient Right, we're violated by a Psycho staff member. I called to report it back in August. I was told by the assistant director from environmental service that she will be getting back to me about this issue. It's 9/28/22. I'm still waiting. What really got me? I explained to her what happened; she tells me well, "What do you want me to do about it?" I even emailed her boss; he never replied back. I've called H.R. Many times, left messages . I spoke to the head person of H.R. it was a waste of time as well. This place is sick. I'm sure I will get a reply back after they see this review. I think I need to contact the news people 🤔 l need to let them know about this hospital who really don't have ICARE Value.tara gordon

This Hospital required me to leave the room at 8:00 pm where my daughter has been in induced labor since last night. They allowed her husband to stay with her but I am sitting in a cold waiting room at 11:00 pm instead of being with my only daughter while she is in labor with her fifth child. I don't want to leave her here as anything could happen with her and the baby. In the room was a nice comfortable recliner and a sofa where I could have rested after driving more than 200 miles to be here with her. I don't call this hospitality or family friendly. On the other hand I thought the staff was very professional and courteous and helpful in every way.Kathy Reneau Gomez

I am a current student at CHCP and I can tell you the school is great ,and they do make you feel very comfortable , the staff is very kind and helpful, they are truelly there for you when you need a hand with class concerns, personal issues or life issues, their open door policy is very real and comforting to have when you feel like you have no one to turn to if you need to talk. I am taking the M.A. course and my instructors Ms.Myers and Ms Ewing are amazing instructors. This school is DEFINITELY a place to come to to get your medical education. I loved the school. The teachers, career services, financial aid and admissions are such great people and very helpful. I loved feeling welcoming, being taught so much in such a short amount time. Even if they’re not your instructors and need help you can always go to any of them and they will help you out with anything you need help with. Great environment, good vibes and a great place to meet people.
