i came in for one reason to get job after graduation been going on two yrs feels like high school classes. Im a criminal Justice major and i like program except one huge thing it needs more hands traning so you prepared for the job once you graduate and not have move on for four degree and they need to have dorminties to live on i hardly see people on campus it almost empety they have two many campuses they need to have one and the paint falling off the school. I hoping i graduate and get job in but i feel unprepared to due the classes they made to if i knew this i would have gone out of state because these tech schools are scam been at midlands tech for my associates in arts degree if i was going for a different major i would be more thrild they have good health science program that gets job as soon as graduate due to the clinicals and broad certification test. some classes have been cancled to there harldy many students in eithermichael mcdaniel

The advisors are literally the worst I have seen. They are basically unaware of how to advise, impossible to reach, don't follow through, and give no recommendations on pre requisite classes. Now the health science department is even worse. The instructors pride themselves on a high failure percentage. They deviate from school policy and ALL Bio 210 and 211 professors are arrogant and unwilling to support your child. Stay away from the arrogant professors, AND they don't care about your future.AB Gentry

this technical college is the best technical college in south carolina, there was a problem with the workers at the edgefield campus, they lost my transcripts, and they tried to cancel my advisement appointment so they could meet their boyfriend in the parking lot, the students at the edgefield campus were rude, and trashy, they are not going to stop me from going there, the classes that you have to take are wonderful, the instructional methods are excellentJessica Taylor

Southeastern College offers the best Medical assistant program with the greatest professors, one of which to whom I am forever grateful. Dr. Brian Dickens is a wonderfully influential person who always leaves students ready to enter their career. He has helped open doors and provided me with the skills that allowed me to continue my education in the medical field. His friendly yet professional teaching style made the class very interesting and fun for all the students, not to mention he has a great since of humor that always gave us a smile in the classroom. The motivation that drives him to master a topic was channeled into building his students' interest and helping them understand the material. Overall, the experiences that Dr. Dickens motivated me to pursue, along with the skills he taught me in and out of the classroom, have now helped me to obtain my dream. I have read so many of these reviews and they compelled me to write one of my own. I was a student at SEC in 2016, where I pursued my career in Medical Assistant. My teacher was Mr Brian Dickens. Of a fact, Mr Dickens is one of the best teachers I ever had. He goes above and beyond to ensure that his students grasp what is being thought and he's willing and ready to share his knowledge and experiences. He makes his class fun and something to look forward to each day. Even after graduation he still sends us articles on how to be a good MA. He ensures that we are equipped for the job ahead. Because of this, I got a job immediately after my internship. I am still at that job..Way to to Mr D. Also, the faculty staff at SEC is the best. They are very helpful and make themselves available to assist in any area. I love SEC. So I started online in September of 2018, and transferred to campus classes in September 2019. I absolutely LOVE the small class size, and staff for the most part is awesome. Mr. Brian Dickens is a PHENOMENAL instructor, and it is obvious that he cares about his students. He takes the time needed to make sure that you understand the materials, and consistently stays active in everything that we are doing, including allowing us to practice on him to make sure our techniques are appropriate. I would recommend this school to anyone who appreciates smaller class sizes and teachers that care. There is definitely a sense of family within the classes, and it's awesome to have the same teacher throughout my time on campus. I left a BSN program to attend CCHS and it was the best decision I ever made for my nursing career! Compared to the university I previously attended, CCHS classes are small and intimate, we had easy access to our teachers and advisors and we had a TON of hands-on clinical experience. I felt very prepared for the NCLEX as well as my first nursing job after I graduated. I then was able to work as an RN while taking classes online for my BSN after I graduated. Two days ago, I received an acceptance letter into CCHS’s Neurodiagnostic Technology program! The application process was made easy due to great communication, kindness and patience from Robert, the Coordinator of Admissions. I've attended CCHS for almost 2 years now. I like how the staff has worked diligently with student during COVID-19. While everyone is still going through difficult times, they have been able to adapt to regulations and restrictions of healthcare that have been placed during the pandemic. As a staff member I just wanted to clarify the review by Trudy. We do not ask for proof of residence to use our library. All community college libraries are public. Also, our computers are available to all our patrons for however long they would need to use them. In the event of all of them being used and a student needing to get on one we would probably ask a public library patron to accommodate the student. However we do have an adequate amount of computers that we haven't run into that problem yet. : ) If you want a nice quiet place to study, we are your library! It is especially quiet on days when school is out but we are open. The staff are friendly and willing to help with research and computer needs. We also have many interesting books and movies. Have used the library and computers on numerous occasions. Open to non-college folks with proof of city residence. Student employees helpful when needed. Computer time limited if not a student. Great resource, though! This college is growing fast! Lots of programs not normally available to those not looking for a degree. Short programs/training for those wanting additional information for better jobs, etc. Finally knocked down old hospital on West End St and a new nursing school will begin to be erected soon according to press releases. Let's be honest, there are good things and bad things to this school. While the department the major I have is very small and thus more personal with you, especially with advising, the bigger departments like business are very impersonal with you, and hold rather strict barrings on until you complete the, to be honest, useless general education the college forces on you, though that is the case anywhere in America. It is almost arrogant in how they dismiss the ideas and opinions of the students in favor of their own. They are also known for their excessive penny pinching. With the prices on campus being outrageous, they also hold strict rulings for housing and parking, giving you hefty bills if you mess up on even the slightest infraction. Overall, the grand and upcoming productions they are doing with the school, such as the football field and new dorms and buildings, do not help the general student population much. Now, with this said, there are good things to this place. For one, in smaller departments, you get a generally more personal and kinder attention to you and your college career. With my department at least, as long as you show the ability, they help you get the classes you want and need. Also, at least on campus, school spirit runs deep with the green and gold. There are more than enough events to bolster this said school patriotism, and can eventually come to rival other schools. Also, while some professors have a tendency to stuff beliefs down the student's throats, others can be thought inspiring, and can be interesting and even fun to go to classes sometimes. However, the lousy administration still lingers over these benefits, and hampers the overall quality of the school. If they fixed that problem, they would be a good school. However, with that said problem, I can only recommend it, as a current student, as a mediocre to slightly above average at best school to prospective students. To them, I would look at your options and see if you want to come here. I do not regret the choice of coming to this school, but I cannot ignore its blatant and crippling flaws.Drunk Farmer

If you have a lot of money, or you're a research student or engineer, you probably won't have a problem with this school. The school looks very nice on the outside, but as a student, I hated it. The dorms were god awful. Their elevators did not work on the first day of move in. At one point they did not have enough rooms in the highrises for the students, and had to house students in the commons rooms and blackout the windows. The Cafeteria food was always questionable. Cold and pretty unimaginative. Facilities and services always closed down early. There was hardly anything open on the weekends. Not to mention there is barely any means of going anywhere outside of campus if you don't have a car. Speaking of cars, parking services is ridiculous and incompetent. They wrote me up even when I had my parking tag right on the windshield, positioned properly where it was supposed to be, and another time I got a ticket after the semester had ended! This school just looks for ways to nickel and dime students. They're department chairs and coordinators are a bunch of fools who can't manage their jobs. And when they make mistakes, you are the one who will probably end up paying for it.Eric Williams

I went to UNCC back in the mid to late 90s. All I can say is if I had a time machine, I'd love to go back. I met several life-long friends that I continue to hang out with to this day. It's amazing how much the campus has changed over the years. The last time I was there (for the first football game) I almost got lost. I received a fine arts degree and have made a career out of digital printing and design. According to other reviews, people still like to go home on the weekends. That was also the case when I attended, but for the brave that stay around the school during the weekend, more power to you. That's where the fun is really at. Also, I'm hearing that students aren't attending the football games and the ones that are, tend to leave early. All I have to say to that is, just be glad you have a football team. We were so sports deprived back in the day, we would go to all the basketball and baseball games. Good times!Chad Milburn

I am a recent graduate of Kings College and for those who are reading this you may have questions about Kings College and I am here to share my experience at Kings with you. I entered the medical assistant program in the fall of 2013 and probably like many of you, I was ready and eager to start a great career. I knew what I wanted to do and had the drive to get there, I just needed the opportunity. Kings College provided that opportunity ten fold. Kings has an amazing faculty and staff. Their instructors have years of experience in the field's they teach and are with you ever step of the way. Something I can certainly tell you while are attending Kings is you are getting a top notch education. Also Kings College has an amazing staff. Their educational recruiters are great, the educational department is outstanding and the student financial department is unbelievably when helping you through anything you need. Lastly but far from least is Kings College's job placement department. They work with you closely to help find and place you in the right and exact job you want once you graduate. Their effort and care is amazing, all of Kings personnel goes above and beyond for their students that I can say is a fact. I graduated from King's in December 2016, with a diploma in Medical Assisting. The placement department sent me on multiple interviews, and I was offered a job with a large hospital in Charlotte within two weeks of graduation. King's is more expensive than a community college and it is true that credits do NOT transfer, but this is a fast track program. I was looking for a school that would prepare me for employment in a short period of time, and the cost was well worth it for me. After 8 months of classroom training, I was well prepared for my 8 week externship. The curriculum taught is exactly what is needed to be prepared to work in a medical office. The instructors are very knowledgeable in the subjects that they teach. They are all required to have at least a Masters Degree. King's College is well known in the medical community for putting out the most well prepared and knowledgeable MAs. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone who is looking for a fast track program with a reputable school.Classie Norfleet

The placement department at King's College is awesome. They are people who I believe from my experience genuinely care about the students. They go above and beyond and are also very empathetic people that strive to understand and help where they can. You can always tell who really enjoys their job! King's college as a whole is a great school and has great benefits. The placement department will assist you for the rest of your life in finding a job. King's College is the first school of business to be established in North Carolina and it truly is a school of business! If you are looking for a school to get you directly into the work force and give you the necessary education, King's is a great choice. It is a very professional environment. The programs they offer are fast paced and to the point. The instructors are very strict because they are preparing you for the work force. This college has made a terrible impression. They got me admitted as a transfer student, and I have been preparing for the Fall session online, but to appear in person, and I just found out I missed the registration deadlines because student advising never got back to me. I took the new student orientation and the professor, just skimmed through all the info. There wasn't time for questions, and she cut it short by 30 minutes. It didn't even explain how to register online. I had been in communication and prepared for this session but didn't understand how to register so all the classes I had 'added to my schedule' weren't actually registered, and no one followed up with my questions. I thought I was registered, and even as I try to register now after the fact, it still says I need student advising which no one ever got back to be except for an email to say I already had everything set up. I am torn about this. Now I have to wait another session to get started?! NO! I will take my education somewhere where I can actually get assistance. This is such an emotional drag.Gabrielle Flores

Fate brought me and Genny together. She needed a last min dog sitter for her 3 wonderful pups and as I’m chatting with her I learned she had a medspa and my previous injector had retired. I booked an appointment and have never looked back. She is more than knowledgeable in her field, she excels in it. She understands every face is different and they can not be treated the same. Back in March of this year (while delivering my Maid of Honor's gift), I fell face down because of a 2-3 inch dip in the concrete. This resulted in a serious concussion, a chest contusion, a sprained wrist, and multiple scrapes and bruises. I went to the dentist hoping to be fixed up. At the first dentist I went to, I saw 3 different dentists, each with different opinions. They sent me to get a root canal on both teeth and because of the trauma to my teeth, I had to come back two separate times. I then went back to the same dentist, where they told me I never needed the root canal in the first place (even though they sent me there). They went in to try and fix the leftover damage, resulting in basically getting gum surgery with no pain medication (this was written in the doctors notes). After this long and extremely painful process, I found Dr. Robert Harrell. I was terrified because of what I had been through, but Dr. Harrell and his amazing staff comforted me and treated me with the best care I could ever imagine. To show how much this doctor cares, he is actually perfecting the new teeth even more AT NO EXTRA COST (I mean, look how perfect they already are!). I could not have chosen a better place office and as you can imagine, I was a bit traumatized at first because of what I had just been through. They made me feel like family and I know that Dr. Harrell is not in this business for the money. He truly cares about his patients and has such a passion for what he does. I can finally, thanks to them, smile again. I’ve never been happier and I am so beyond blessed. My time at Harrell Dental Implant center has been amazing. Everyone there from the dental assistants to the hygienist has treated me so well since my first consultation. They all made sure I was comfortable and came up with a plan great for me financially. Dr. Harrell is very caring towards his patients. I was even given an instant pot to help with softening my food after Surgery. When I walk in the office it feels like a dental family that just wants you to be apart of it. My surgery went very smoothly. Dr. Harrell prayed with me before Surgery and the Anesthesiologist gave me a nice comfy blanket to feel at ease. Post surgery I think everyone there called me to check on me and to see how I was feeling. That was really nice. I’ve completed my implant that I’ve wanted for at least 10 years!!! The experience is what you guys care about though, right? I could tell that one of their top goals was to make sure I was comfortable and that made this process much easier. Simply AWESOME! There is nothing I can say to adequately express the positive experience from beginning to end that Adult Dentistry of Ballantyne provided me. Like many people, a trip to the dentist does not top my list of favorite places to go, so I am always a little nervous. Unfortunately while I was having lunch one day, one of my back molars broke off. I was not in pain but knew the dreaded trip was inevitable. By word of mouth I was told about Adult Dentistry of Ballantyne. I called and they were able to arrange an appointment for me within a few days. I learned that they are open every other Friday for dental emergencies which is quite impressive given that not many offices provide such a service. When I walked in I was greeted by a cheerful receptionist and had just a brief wait in their beautifully decorated, calming reception area. They had the TV on a channel that displayed a scene of being underwater in the ocean and as an avid scuba diver I knew I was in the right place. 🙂 Rainey, one of their dental assistants, came to greet me with the same cheerful, happy nature and immediately put me at ease. She asked how I was doing and genuinely cared that I was nervous. She reassured me and talked with me the entire time she was taking X-rays, etc. She explained everything and was very confident and kind. She even brought me a blanket because like all Dr.‘s offices…it was a bit chilly:) Dr. Chavez came in and again greeted me with kindness and caring. He too explained everything he was going to do and made sure I was comfortable. There was music, a TV on the ceiling, and I even got a little “laughing gas” to take the edge off which was something else I truly appreciated. I ended up needing a crown and they were able to accommodate me the same day. I was calm and relaxed the entire time….Dr. Chavez made that top priority. The next week they were able to work me in for a cleaning and placement of my permanent crown. Again, I was greeted with smiles and positivity and I can’t express enough how important that is …especially in the climate of today’s world. My hygienist, Hunter, was gentle, skilled, funny, and kind and again appreciated the fact that I had dentophobia(it’s real…look it up:)) Dr. Chavez and Rainey then meticulously placed my permanent crown and I was on my way home. Adult Dentistry of Ballantyne is definitely the place to be if you want to be cared for by kind, caring, skilled, professional, and positive people who love what they do! 10+ stars!!!Leslie Simpson

I have been searching for a general dentist with specialized services in the South Charlotte area. After much research, I came across Dr Harrell who by all accounts seemed professional, accomplished, experienced, caring, etc. The site listed only Dr. Harrell as a provider and stated that they were taking new patients. I reached out and received a prompt response today. However, I was told that I would be seeing some other doctor. We went back and forth trough emails to address some questions but each time I was told that I would be seeing this other dentist. In my final email communication, I specifically asked if Dr. Harrell would not accept me as a new patient. No response – although I do appreciate it is the first day back for the week so this patient care coordinator may be busy. Now, I appreciate that Dr. Harrell may not be taking new patients. However, nowhere on the site is any other dentist (or their credentials) listed. Look…transparency is key. No one wants to be told one thing when they have every reason to expect a different outcome. It is disappointing that this is the level of service provided, but perhaps it is better to find out sooner vs. later? I did see a rather negative review at the height of the pandemic which Dr.. Harrell addressed with much professionalism. But transparency should be a requirement. I have been a patient of Dr Harrell's for almost two years and can say that I have never been treated or cared for by a dental office as well as I have with Adult Dentistry of Ballantyne. Hunter, my hygienist, is amazing. I just recently had Zoom whitening done and WOW! what a difference. My teeth look white and refreshed – it took 30 years off my dull 60+ colored smile. LandMark Dentistry was my life saver! I moved to Charlotte last month, and needed a veneer replaced. Based on the specifics of why it needed replacing and the lab that had to be used, 12 other dentists turned me down (yes, 12). Kayla & Dr. Amanda were amazing for my 3 fillings this morning! Honestly one of the best dentist appointments I’ve ever had & my dad (rip) was my first dentist, so when I say that it means a whole lot & is truly from my heart. They were such a good team, they were like a montage scene out of a movie the way they worked together so effortlessly & kindly. They checked in on me & overall we’re just so explanatory & gentle. I was very nervous for this appointment (not because of Pearl, it just makes me sad to go to the dentist sometimes because of the memories) but Pearl and especially Kayla, Dr. Amanda, & Hailey at the front desk are always so wonderful that I leave wondering why I wasted energy stressing. Went to this location a few years ago and saw Dr. Jenny. After a minute of looking in my mouth, I was told I had 6 cavities that needed to be filled. I had never had cavities prior to my visit at Pearl, so this was shocking. Obviously, I sought a second opinion and was told that I had no cavities and that the dentist would not put a drill to my teeth. If you seek quality and thoughtful care, do not go to Pearl. My experience with Pearl from booking to check out was amazing. Bri at the front desk was such a sweetheart! The place itself looked and smelled like a high end spa- they took me in quick, I had a cleaning and check up done- very efficient, kept me informed throughout the entire process and gave me appropriate recommendations. The doctors and staff here are professional with a personal touch. Once you go there, you'll be remembered by name and feel cared for by such kind and efficient people. The doctors here are thorough and give you all the time you need, (yet the wait is short), they're easily accessible, and they take insurance. They are able to treat you for a wide variety of health issues. Add to that that they are independent and not part of any mercenary conglomerate. I actually got a check from them one year (I've been seeing them for years because they're so great) right before Christmas because I had overpaid on copays. I have been to Carolina Express Clinic twice over the span of a year. Each time I have seen Dr. Greg Chambers who is very patient and outgoing. He is very professional and made me feel like he actually cared about what I was going through and wanting to help me understand and resolve it. I have been to other Urgent Care type clinics in the past and always felt more like a number than an actual patient. First time using Carolina Express Clinic. Got an appt on my first call; needed a vaccine for oversea’s travel. Had all my documented vaccines ready for the doctor to review. He did; I had everything I needed for travel except for the one I came for. Gave me more information and practical advice than l hoped for. No pressure to buy something else that I didn’t need. This school is great. The staff was even greater. Very family oriented, caring, and provided a great and safe atmosphere. Let us just start with when you enter the building, and there is this warm and kind spirited receptionist( Mrs. Ireene) that greets you. Her daughter our instructor Ms. Grant was also amazing at what she did and was very stylish doing it; which I loved it made it more interesting and not so boring. All though Ms. Grant was very entertaining you can tell she knew her stuff. I loved that she only gave you what you needed and not the extra fluff unless you asked for it. I can guarantee you with Ms. Grant as your instructor there is no way you can fail unless you just do not come to class. I would recommend any and everyone to take her course especially if you are trying to learn a lot in just a short matter of time. Great School!!!sharipha thurston

Blooming Heart School of Health is a school like no other. When you enter, Ms. Irene greets you with a beautiful smile and welcomes you to the school. Ms. Grant continues this during the classes and makes everyone feel like they belong. Her teaching style is amazing and helped me retain so much information! The fun jokes and talks we had in class were really enjoyable. The skills lab and the teaching method Ms. Grant used to help us remember how to do all the skills was so different and helpful. This was my home away from home and if I could go back and redo my 4 weeks there, I would! I had an amazing experience, met so wonderful people, and learned awesome skills!Medha Muppuri

Ms. Grant is so passionate about creating a future of empathetic and hardworking nurse assistants and it shows. She is very thorough with all of the information needed to pass the CNA exam and skills test. Just wait until you see the x-ray imaging and how thorough and detailed a job it does. This experience was a quantum leap forward compared to previous dental exams. When I go for an exam, I want to be sure that it's thorough and that any potential issues get caught so they can be fixed before they become bigger issues. With this new technology, which was faster and much more pleasant to complete than the old, it certainly met my desire for thoroughness. Plus Dr Turner was detailed in his explanations. I particularly liked that he explained what could happen in the future and ways to avoid future nastiness, such as gum disease or other issues. Plus, I had skipped dentist visits during the pandemic so I was worried about what would be found. Dr Turner was not judgmental about that. It was a much more pleasant experience than I thought it would be.Frank Summers

Dr. Turner is without a doubt the best dentist I have ever been to. He took the time to educate me about my teeth in a way that helped me understand why certain parts of my dental care are more or less important than others and how I can keep my teeth healthy and it was all personalized to me. He did a very thorough exam, explained what he was doing and why he was doing it, and kept me at ease. The dental cleaning was thorough and the dental hygienist was professional and personable. The office is modern and gorgeous (I only got a picture of the waiting room because I loved all of the fall-themed decor but the rest of the office also looked new and very nice). Dr. Turner clearly cares about his patients and his profession, and loves educating which made for the best dental experience I've ever day, I can't recommend this place enough!!!Sofiya Diurba

I typically do not leave reviews but this office sets the bar for perfection. Dr. Turner and his staff are professional and courteous. I have never had such a fantastic dental experience. State of the art equipment, clean, great music, wonderful atmosphere-you seriously almost forget you are at the dentist. Dr Turner took time to listen to my concerns, answer questions and provided a care plan to correct slight spacing. After having the same dentist for 20 years I decided to take a chance on Dr. Turner after seeing other’s recommendations. Today’s experience at the Uptown location was everything I’d hope for in a visit to the dentist. I was quickly greeted by the very kind receptionist (brown hair/red skirt), who offered me a refreshment. Taylor (my hygienist) was the star of the show; she’s an excellent conversationalist, thoughtful host, and an extremely competent dental professional. My cleaning was 100% pain-free, and Taylor was able to recommend specific products for my unique circumstances; she also provided total transparency, as far as medical rationale/cost info PRIOR to charging me (major points). I also enjoyed my interaction with Dr. Anthony; he was nice enough to fill in for my regular dentist, and the experience was seamless. Dr. Anthony also echoed my compliments of Taylor, which I hope translates into her pay (because she’s clearly worth it). Thanks again!T Roberts

This is my first visit at the Pearl Dentistry downtown Charlotte. The building inside is beautiful, comfortable and elegant. Staff are friendly and very helpful. My child and I had a great experiences yesterday, we were treated kindly, given bottles of waters. I notices my hygiene nurse was so careful with my teeth, i didn't even feel any discomfort while she was cleaning my teeth, I believe her name was Jeanna, trust me all the ladies look like models and all gorgeous. 🙂 Make sure you park at Bank of America parking lot so Pearl can validate your parking ticket, otherwise you will pay $30 at the parking lot behind Pearl (First American Citizen Bank).Desa Fox

This review is a little late as I was having issues with Google Maps. I had my eye exam on Friday, 12-31-21 with Dr Lockhart. My last visit with Spectrum was at the Colony Rd location a few years ago. My insurance changed and I had to visit another optometrist. Their level of service was no comparison to Spectrum's. I almost forgot about getting my eyes checked, but the Uptown location was able to schedule one of their last appointments for 2021. Dr Lockhart was great! He was thorough with my eye exam and even brought something to my attention to be aware of just in case. All of the staff was pleasant and professional. When I had to choose new frames, I had a hard time making a final choice. They offered to help me and ended up having a difficult time making a final selection as well. Aside from being nearsighted, I'm glad my eyes are still in great shape as I'm getting older. As long as my insurance allows, Spectrum will always be my first choice for eye care.N A

I work uptown and was going to a different optometrist, but decided to switch because the front office staff was rude and the doctor I liked moved out of town. A coworker recommended Spectrum, and I haven’t looked back. The entire staff is very friendly and helpful. They help me make the most of my benefits, and appointments are enjoyable. Had an emergency eye issue and my regular eye doctor suggested trying to get in here. It was fast and same day. They answered all my questions and took great care of me. Parking uptown was easy and the office was just off the parking ramp. While I didn’t get glasses the collection offered was impressive! If you’re just looking for a new eye doctor or new to the area I’d highly recommend.Mary Kate

The staff is completely incompetent and unprofessional. For over 6 months I have been trying to get claims forms completed to submit to my daughter's secondary insurance for reimbursement. This is the first dental office I have ever come across that does not do the coordination of business. Fine, not a big deal (or so I thought). They have no clue how to complete the dental claim form. How the hell, can you be a professional office and have no idea the proper way to complete a form. I even sent them completed forms that only required their signature and they decided to change the form. This has been an absolutely nightmare. I also asked for a copy of the patient ledger to send to the secondary insurance company. What they provided me were screenshots of my daughter's treatment plan. The dentist seem competent and my daughter liked going to them. Whenever I can I try to support Black-owned medical professionals but the level of incompetence in the staff they hire, just flat out dumb people has turned me off to this practice. We have found another dentist that has a professional staff that not only understands coordination of benefits but files the paperwork (as most dental offices do).Misty Rayne

Since my childhood at the tender age of nine, I have always been haunted with nightmares of going to dentist office after my first visit there. At last, I am now free of my fears after a few visits with Dr. Drew Lyons and his fabulous staff at “Smile Savvy”. Their professional expertise, integrity and concerns are to be most appreciated. Dr. Lyons explained the procedures to me while showing a compassionate concern for me, the person at the end of the drill resulting in a comfortable painless transformation. Like their versatility and knowledge. Felt like they were most interested in trying to preserve my original teeth as much as possible in a pleasing way and that was important to us! Most patients do not want to jump to crowns, veneers, and things immediately now; they want dentist who look at their smiles and say let’s see how we can keep as much of what you have for functioning and preserve and improve the rest?! That’s what we felt we got from this office! It was great! It differencients one dentist in a good way from “other basic dentist” we get now!!
