If i could legit give ZERO STARS, I would. This is NOT… I repeat NOT a good school. If you are design/business major the staff do NOT work with you and the accommodations are a joke. You have to re-do them all again next semester. Secondly… the RA's #do not do their job. We had a huge issue in our dorm building and restrictions had been in place for the people who were causing the issues not to come back into the building. The RA's allowed them back into the building, saying they were… "Safe" to be in the building. The building muse is even WORSE. the staff there don't take care of all the fights and drug use that happens there. Two of my friends were sexually assaulted in that building and left Radford because of it. I can't speak for other dormatories, but Muse and Trinkle are NO GO'S. People are very rude and try to start drama with you and also… if you do come to this school, please PLEASE lock your bedroom doors…. people like to steal! Also the graduate teachers are the WORST. I've had a few, all if whom didn't like their students. They're mucj younger teachers, fyi. I only have one grad student professor who is a decent human being. Also people here are really racist. There's so much racism and fights here, it's insane. It's better to pick another school if possible, Especially when it comes to safety. The staff do NOT care about your safetyM B

Radford University is a great place to go to college for someone that is looking for a great education, great facilities, an exciting campus life, and a friendly and united community. As an international student I've had a great experience in my two years that I've been studying at Radford. The faculty is great, well knowledgeable in their subjects, and are always willing to help you, the student life on and off campus is fun, the smaller class sizes enable you to learn better and enable you to get to know your professors, the campus is beautiful, the facilities are mostly modern and well equipped. The university is constantly investing and working in improving the quality of education, the competitiveness of the school, and resources that we have, and it is clearly getting better every time. This school is truly a fraud! They are claiming to support the military and Join the Yellow Ribbon Program to get the recognition but the actual support is not even pennies against this multi-million dollar school. This program was built to assist in financially supporting Military and Family Members to attend schools out-of-state and abroad at a rate comparable, if not equal, to in-state students and help overcome the hardships of military families constantly moving in support of our nations freedom. It is a joke they are calling themselves Yellow Ribbon Program members; offering a measly $1000 against a $25,000 annual out-of-state tuition difference. Then to offer it to only 2 undergraduates and 2 graduates in a school of over 10,000!!….Really? I can get a better military discount at Waffle House! I'm a vet and am finishing up my first semester at Liberty. So far I have had nothing but good experiences. I was nervous about going back to school after being in service for years, but the transition has been fairly easy with all of the help lve received.My instructors are very personable and go out of their way to help me with any problems I may run into. Professors are very professional and, unlike many schools, encourage students to form their own opinions. I have never felt as though any political agendas or doctrines were being forced upon me. Non Christians are treated equally well as everyone else, and are even welcomed to challenge or question anything they may disagree with. Divinity professors are more than willing to listen to other opinions and will clearly explain anything a non believer might want to know about Christianity. The campus itself is beautiful and full of fun things to do besides schoolwork. I am actually learning, rather than simply connecting dots to get a degree and that is exactly what I hoped for. Since I've gone to the school I've got to see politicians such as Nigel Farage and Donald Trump Jr., musicians like Jeremy Camp, sports stars like Brett Favre, world class entrepreneurs, and experts such as economists who advised the president. I’ve got one year to go to graduate from this place😭 Being a student at this university has been quite a wonderful experience. To be honest I think it’s one of the it’s not the most state of the art schools in the world. It’s impossible to get bored here. I will say though one thing about this place is that if you come here on fire for Jesus then you’ll find people on fire for Jesus but if you come here to party then you’ll find the party people so make of it what you want. Yes there’s been some drama here in the past few years but there’s drama everywhere and Liberty has been able to manage it pretty well I’d say. Set up a campus tour. It was 3 hours which entailed visiting the dorms and dining areas. To include the fitness and recreation center. As well the Jerry Falwell Library and Vines Center. We walked the campus for a few hours and then we rode the bus for the remainder of the tour. Everyone was friendly. The student tour guides did an excellent job. The campus was huge. It was well maintained. They have three dorm options. One to include apartments that house seven people. Freshmen are able to bring vehicles on campus. Wide selection of dining options. I loved my professors (some more than others). I loved the beautiful campus, the extra curricular activities (especially the parties) and I loved the friendships I made. Some student decided to order doordash from Virginia Beach Which was 18 minutes out of my way and then they couldn't even tip. all I got was the base pay from doordash I couldn't even buy a cup of coffee with that. The good thing and what I *really* desire the most about the "Green" and "Gold," is that visitation, even when you are not invited the University allows you to break free and be yourself. Because of this, makes me ought not to approach with such criticism when it is just basic conversation. I AM NOT A STUDENT. IM A TOURIST I toured this beautiful school yesterday. It was absolutely beautiful. To walk around seeing so much scripture. So many things to inspire young minds and hearts to Christ. I did not get a chance to walk around the entire campus but the places I did see were amazing. My tour guide was Robert Vann. He knew a lot of history and important things about the school. He probably knew the mission statement if I asked him. He took us into the Chapel and had so many great things to say about it. He also said, the school was a safe place for Christians. The professors and staff, knew Jesus. Frfr. They encourage a relationship with Christ. He has never been around so many different ethnicities fully in worship together. It reminded him of Heaven. He saw that we are all the same. The school opened the eyes of his heart to so many different beautiful things about ALL of the people of God. I’m not gone lie, I don’t wanna say that I would ever move back to Virginia. And I do not like school. However, after seeing the school, and hearing the Words of Mr. Vann, it makes me want to consider attending Regent. I was here for two years after my time at Nova CC. I was with the Schar School of Policy and Government. It was a fantastic experience I wouldn't trade for anything. The professors are all experts in their fields with PhD's. Everyone in my classes were respectful and engaging. For a social life it was average, you have to make your own friends by joining clubs or living in dorms with your door open. Be polite and talk to people. Infrastructure wise there is a huge effort by the university to modernize. With the Peterson Medical building, Nguyen Engineering Building, Fenwick library, exploratory building, and the new Robinson building that is being built in the middle of campus, it's gonna be great. For now the construction may put people off but it will become a great school for students and graduate students alike. 4/5 would do it again. Not really but still.Ameen Karim

The George Mason University is better than I expected going in. Many Norther Virginia High School students don’t really want to go to this school because they think it is not that good and they do not want to stay home. Stalinist little place. The whole campus was like a totalitarian police state in 20/21. False accusations were thrown at students about masks and stupid Covid tests. The number one reason you are considering going to business school is to improve your career situation, get a better job, move industries maybe even move to another country. If so, Kenan Flagler is not the school for you. Career services have issues with retaining talent, which means that the people who are supposed to help the most are inexperienced. The same is true for the administration, for example, the director of the MBA program is new, the head of career services just quit after a year in her role, her predecessor had similar time in the program. Career professionals for consulting and investment banking are also new. About financial aid- GMAT score might get you financial aid from the school, which for many helps the decisions for ROI reasons, but i offer you not to be tempted by the money. From the top of my head, I'm thinking of at least 3 classmates with full rides and no offers meaning the very qualified people are not doing well because of the current situation at the school. Managment: The management is currently putting its effort into it online MBA program and not in the MBA, from a financial point of view it makes sense, the program has an infinite capacity for students with no GMAT requirements which leads to incredible income from that venue but it also means less attention and investment in full-time MBA students. What I like about KFBS: North Carolina and the Triangle generally is a pretty chill location, cost of living is pretty low and the weather is nice. The academic staff is great and I enjoyed many of my classes. If you enjoy sports the local sports scene is cool.Jefri Tamba

The person who is in charge of the program is making a decision based on her personal preferences and likeness of the candidate. Also, age is another factor for non-admission. Very bad university for international students mainly, first and the most important thing is they LOST Accreditation because they are a member of ACICS, so your degree don't mean nothing and plus you cant get your STEM OPT extension which is very crucial to a lot of students after you graduate who needs to get experience in this country in order to be successful. Second, most of the staff are very rude specially the international office or DSO office, they talk to you like you are working for them and they pay your rent, I think they forget that because of students tuition that all these people have jobs. they are few people that are friendly like the folks at the Career center and other areas but mostly anything related to international students offices I feel like they treat you like trash. In the end, if you are an international student DO NOT consider this university you will suffer from the first day you get in and ask for your first I-20 til your OPT if you are lucky to get it because again THIS university IS NOT ACCREDITED. First of all, it is not a traditional university. It consists of few teacher and few class rooms. There is not any US-local students studying there. Secondly, staff is very rude, specially admissions. When you call, there is no one to pick up your call, if there is one, they connect you with any office, guess what they have full mail boxes. This University is not very good. You can never reach anyone by phone. Prospective students have questions!! There is such a hassle for all the application requirements where they ask you to come back and forth to bring information. The campus is old and outdated. The posters on the wall are from the 90's. This school focuses closely on international students and ESL. The front desk girl was not helpful as I came in for an appointment and she acted like she wasn't aware of the person I was looking for and seated me down for 20 minutes until I inquired what was taking so long. Looking for another degree or to switch careers and thinking of South University, well wipe the from your memory. The education you will receive here is subpar. Why do I say this? The professors race through teaching the curriculum so that you can complete the degree on 18-20 months. When this happens, students are not learning information to retain. Students are memorizing information. Better yet, many of the students cheat to pass so that they won't get put out of their programs. When students report those cheating, it goes in one ear of the staff and out the other ear. How is it fair to those students who are actually studying and not cheating to earn lower grades than those cheaters? When students are going to the professors telling them the students are cheating, why is this constantly being overlooked? Why isn't the President or Dean doing something about it? If your average is 69.9999, the professor rounds it down to a 69 and not round up to a 70. Honestly, these are some of the most no mathematical people I've ever seen. You learn how to round numbers in elementary school but a college professor round simple numbers. If you decide to go to the nursing program and decide not to heed my warning, then stay away from LINDA PECK'S class. She teaches one thing in class and tests on something totally different. You're better off teaching yourself rather than going to her class. She lows students to cheat in her class and even sees it for herself and does nothing. While the class portal shows how to calculate grades, Linda has her own way of calculating grades. If you're not Caucasian, then she will discriminate against you in any and every way that she can think of. The Dean and other higher officials let her do whatever she wants. A good professor or educator for that matter wants to see students succeed. Linda likes to see how many people she can fail. What Linda needs to remember is that she wouldn't want what she's doing to students to be done to her. While the university has recently filed bankruptcy, they failed to tell the current students. Many students found out by it appearing in news publications on the web. The great professors have been let go and staff like Linda remain to wreak havoc on her current and future students. I don't want any medical professional to work on me that has cheated their way through school. Hence, the very reason you should consult beforehand. Don't forget to check those medical licenses. If you're a minority, you want to skip South University as they allow current students to post racial slurs etc in social media. When it is brought to the attention of the school no one says anything. There is limited parking. Many students park at Whole Foods. Therefore, actual Whole Foods customers don't have anywhere to park. If you're a current student, keep complaining about the wrongdoings of the university. Better yet, take it to the head of South University in Georgia. If I could rate this so called university with negative stars, I would. Rushing through a degree and not learning anything is NOT a quality education. It's just all about quantity and how many students can get robbed paying these exorbitant fees and get further in debt while doing so. If you don't know, now you know. I am currently a PTA student and absolutely love it here. After going to MCI for nursing a few years ago and having such a bad experience (they weren't even accredited and teachers didn't seem to care about your well being and success), South has been such a breath of fresh air. They are accredited by CAPTE, every professor has received their Doctorate, and they truly and whole heartedly care about your success and well being. They strive to help you in any way, and they are so fun, outgoing, and interactive. Dr. Chamberlain and Dr. Bailey are AWESOME! More than 60 days later, with all tuition, fees, AND $10 paid for official transcripts to be submitted, this "institution" continues to be the single thing holding up my daughter's dental school application. The nursing program is predatory. There has been a mas exodus of teachers and the good ones have refused to return because they don't trust the head of the department. They have lied to the Virginia Board of Nursing and the VA regarding their NCLEX pass rates and the VA will now not allow new students to use their GI Bill to attend this program. Last I heard, the Virginia Department of Nursing was also reviewing them due to complaints. If you still want to attend, anticipate having to teach yourself everything and probably still failing out of the program. Out of my class of over 35 students, only 1 or 2 haven't failed out. They staff is rude and condescending. They will tell you to go into debt to go through their program and to not pay your bills so you can focus on them if youre not doing well. They will accept anyone that will pay them, and legitimately only see students as dollar signs. When students drop out, they dont care because there's always new students for them to prey upon with lies and false promises. They don't want students passing, the more students that pass their program the more they risk their NCLEX pass rate dropping. **EDIT TO ADDRESS THEIR RESPONSE** The program had previously been allowed to receive GI Bill students, however that is not currently the case. Their response was misleading, making it seem like they've never been able to utilize GI Bill funding, because the program "has not yet" been able to? They had been able to just fine for the previous two years at least before it was revoked. This school's nursing program is the most toxic thing I've had the misfortune of feeding into. When the new director of the program took over and we had the Board of Nursing visit she solicited students to be available to answer questions about the program, then coached answers and told us what to tell them, instead of offering our genuine experiences because it could have affected the programs standing. The nursing staff themselves heard the same things about the schools standing with the Board of Nursing and the V.A. They're only sorry I'm publicly speaking out, they literally only care about making money off of the people they can sweet talk into attending their program.Nika

I really enjoyed receiving my education at Bryant & Stratton I graduated with my Associate of Applied Science and Medical Reimbursement Billing & Coding August 2021 and the program has really made a difference in my life. This is for nursing… They will draw you in with their nice admission reps then when you get there, they completely flip the script. They don’t care about you or your success. You’re just a number to them. Half of the instructors are completely clueless on what to even do for the course. There was one who held a secret meeting with certain students, gave them the test answers and I not then revealed to the rest of the class that we were having a test. The rest of the class failed. Only a couple of the instructors are great. If you do clinicals you will most likely get misled by an instructor who has their own set of rules and then they will hold it against you for not following the “rules”. It’s like they want you to fail just to get your money.They will put on a big Smiley face when the board of nursing shows up and the students are so safaris if the administration, we don’t tell them the truth when we are asked. First they blamed my wife for not putting in her application, but then realized they misplaced it and their response was, "better luck next year." Incompetent receptionist cold called me out of nowhere yesterday and then hung up on me after she was unable to answer a basic question about what degree programs they offered in person before they closed due to the pandemic. (I did request information 3 months ago, but I haven't expressed interest in joining the school since.) All she had to say was that she didn't know, but she instead dodged the question and when I tried to clarify what I was asking she got impatient and hung up. Furthermore, she was talking to me like I was a moron the entire time from the moment I picked up the phone, very unprofessional. That woman should be fired. I am entering my second year here after transferring from community college and have enjoyed my experience so far. All the professors I have had so far have been good and care about their students and what they are teaching. There are places on campus where you can get help outside of class which can be really helpful. The food can be hit or miss but it is generally good. ODU is awesome. The school has been totally updated since we graduated in 1996. There are tons more class buildings and the football stadium has expanded. There are even new regular dorms and apartment style apartments. The university now has its own police force which adds to the safety of the entire university! Nice campus went to football game Virginia Tech versus ODU thought some of the students were rude w they're slurs and cursing once they got start drinking I think it was a little bit over the top would have appreciated if at the game they would at least had shuttles or shuttle bus for guest to get back and forth from the stadium to their cars so far one of the rudest colleges and I'm talking like some of the students that I've been to other than that nice campus.😎Lillian Granison

This school has a lot of false advertisement.. I have not met one staff member with a positive or helpful attitude, with the exceptions of the counselors. A huge scam is the food. They say that there’s so many options with food but half of the places that are advertised to eat are closed down. Advisors are not attentive to students. A lot of the freshman dorms look like psych wards or jails, which is uncomfortable, and they have little space. On each floor there is 1 small microwave and 1 mini fridge that you share with the entire floor, which would be around 30+ people, and then they do not allow you to have those appliances in your room. They also do not let freshman-sophomores have vehicles on campus, however with that they also do not provide daily transportation. So if you do not have money for constant ubers/cabs during the week you will most likely not be getting anywhere except for fri-sat. The wifi reception is so bad that some people have to walk almost off campus to get work done, hopefully you have a hotspot. These issues are complained about but nothing is done. They will hardly pick up the phone, and when they do they are dismissive. I have so many complaints and not much positives to say. I mean the outside is pretty. Take what they advertise with a grain of salt. Do your research first, find some support groups to talk to people who actually have experience here and see if this school is the right fit for you before they take your money.Tim Kring

+JMJ It is my hope that Google Maps' staff will allow me to post here a review and photos for a Retreat House that I have visited several times when Retreats (silent) were scheduled by the Richmond Diocese. I have no affiliation with this university which I recently learned purchased the former retreat center called Holy Family Retreat House. I am submitting this review only to share photos of a truly, spiritually enriching retreat house. And, to bring emotional closure for a retreat center which holds memories of heartfelt and tender remembrances.The retreat center was once operated by a men's religious order, The Redemptorists, for nearly 52 years. I visited the "abandoned" property quite a few times before I left VA for AZ in 2013. I had even tried to generate interest in former Retreatants and faithful Catholics of the Diocese and elsewhere to promote restoration of the retreat center by the Redemptorists. Well, what is is! This university’s website falsely advertises programs that they don’t offer. If you do decide to look into this school get EVERYTHING in writing with their staff and create a paper trail of what they “offer” before they take your money and ignore your inquiries about getting what you pay for. My brother was interested in this school’s arts program that’s featured on their site and I’m glad we saved our time and money since they don’t have it and carelessly left it up misleading potential applicants. I hope those who were promised this program are fully refunded!Its Vee

I have a relative attending William and Mary currently. The campus here is gorgeous. I have been several times down to the campus to take my relative different places around Williamsburg. (My relative doesn't own a car, he lives on campus) I love coming down here just to see the beautiful campus. I look forward to my relative's calls to come and pick him up. I will say one thing though. Recently my relative went to the Rowe House, which has the "Confucius Institute" from China. The staff there were very disrespectful and told him to leave after he started asking questions about Mao Zedong, an old leader in China. Before he even started asking questions about Mao Zedong they had a disrespectful attitude and were rude. They seem to be giving William and Mary a bit of a bad name. According to my relative and his friends. Hopefully someone at William and Mary w/a bit of authority will start to come down on the "Confucius Institute" and tell them to properly talk and respect guests.Charlie Hunley

On a recent visit to the Historic Williamsburg District, we found ourselves with some extra time so we decided to stop by here. If you're arriving by car like us, you can go to the Police and Parking Services office along Ukrop Way to pay the parking fee and get info about designated parking spots. Campus maps and restrooms are available there as well. We found street parking along Landrum Drive, which was an easy walk to the two places we wanted to see – Sunken Garden and Wren Building. We spent the next 1.5 hours walking around and learning about the university and some of its most famous graduates, such as Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson.G Aquino

The three years I spent at William and Mary were the best three years of my life. My professors were passionate, caring, understanding, knowledgeable, and experienced. My friends were exceptional and inspirational, while I was given so many opportunities to learn and grow. I am especially indebted to the endless support I received from the Writing Center, the Career Center, the Counseling Center, Reves Center for International Studies, and the Student Engagement and Leadership Office, and can't wait to pay it forward.James and Nhu Milton

A University in Blacksburg with a sprawling and breathtaking campus offering undergraduate and masters programmes in various disciplines ranging from the sciences to arts with renowned faculty . An international student community which is quite welcoming to aspiring freshman. There are plenty of dorms and student accommodation in the vicinity.Residing in the dorms have the advantage of proximity while the other student accommodations are a tad away but catered to by BT ,Blacksburg transit buses.Plenty of restaurants in the area provide ample choice for dining and nightlife. Blacksburg is catered to by many hotels including Hyatt, Holiday Inn and Hilton which tends to gets very busy at move in days and graduation dates. The closest airport is Roanoke a regional airport 45 minute drive away which is connected to other airports in the vicinity. Students here have ample opportunity to pursue the academic interests , join the many clubs and activities to make their student life an enriching experience. They will certainly be proud to be Hokies !Bee

This is the most beautiful University I've ever seen! The buildings, parks, and trails are scenic and clean. Beside providing great academic experience, this school provides important social enhancement for career, and community civil development. There are many hiking, and biking trails that are beautiful and safe. During Autumn, the place is magical. It has one giant cafetaria that serves great buffet with fair price. I wish my University of Maryland at College Park could be just half as good.Audie O

Brother goes here for chemical engineering and we visit often. Campus is small but pretty nice. They have lots of open space and the downtown area has a decent amount of food choice but parking can be a bear sometimes. I’ve heard that the crime isn’t too good and it can get kinda sketchy at night but the times I’ve been here I’ve felt safe.Matthew Wheeler
