Great business school and a mecca for all things business in the Lone Star State. As UH has just recently been recognized as a tier 1 university it shows within all their colleges, especially Bauer. From PES to the Wolfe Center for Entrepreneurship UH has it all. For best.parking I recommend that you get a parking pass in the east garage or try and fight for one of the 220 spots in the visitor hourly parking in the east garage. I really enjoy the student life here and most of the staff here is friendly, but overall the lack of professors and class schedule availablity is very disturbing. Classes that are available during the day is very limited and a majority are only offered at night plus a good 3/4 of the classes are taught by the same professors. The STEM department is very underfunded, I feel that this college is missing out on a big opportunity since the general area around here is next up and coming medical center (League City, Webster, Clear Lake, etc.). These two have been a big issue that have come up a lot when talking to other students. Another drawback of this campus is that you cannot graduate on time due to the lack of open class availablity. Also, this university is not a friendly parent student, so if you are a student that has kids I would look elsewhere. Overall, I feel like this is a very underfunded univeristy that needs a lot of improvement and it is sad to say that the community colleges are better than this one.Ashley M

Went to help move my daughter into her dorm/room on Saturday 1/16/21 & evryone we saw were very helpful, questions were answered & its been just a couple of days but my daughter has had an amazing experience!!! Update: unfortunately after the freeze we had my daughter was asked to go to hotel or back home (which was fine with me) until they "fixed" the problems that occured due to weather, the unfortunate thing is that it's so expensive to live there & YES she had help with financial aid but they did NOT give any discount even though she wasn't there for a month, not fair but oh well it is what it is..just had to write down the experience as part of my review.Jessica Ramirez

This University is trash. They can't keep professors, but their tuition keeps going up. Don't expect any help from your advisor because they won't be in your field of work and have zero clue about your major. They are business people only. The STEM department has drama in it so they are a mess. Expect to be in a class of 50 in a tiny room using garbage computer programs that are always expensive or vague and then not be able to receive any help from anyone. great spot to study. quiet and peaceful. free strong wi-fi for visitors and there are multiple parking lots nearby. temperature in the building is perfect too. the campus is beautiful. i was really glad this mcnair hall was opened on a sunday. unfortunately the fondren library doesn't take visitors until end of Jan 2022 and the rice coffeehouse nearby was closed as well. i want to come back here again during weekdays and explore the campus. and my friend who goes to rice told me that there is a library here too on the second floor, which is currently under construction. and for the building itself they won't kick you out but after 6pm or so you cannot re-enter without the access card. i haven't checked out other floors yet, but i probably will later!Claire Bear

The Cameron School of Business in University of St. Thomas is somewhere I find very professional to study. Professors are experienced, knowledgeable and nice. It teaches from the most essential part of business to the most useful of courses for the current labor market such as E-commerce. Professors puts you to challenge academically and practically. The infrastructure has improved with online access, strong Wi-Fi, and tech to use tools like Zoom for broader access to classes. A lot of great professors here who want to make their students dreams come true and help their students. Very strong sense of community between professor and student. Everyone is very passionate in what they study. Students really get to know the faculty due to the smaller classes versus a public university.
