I saw The Messiah here on Sunday. Campus is unbelievable and it was wonderful to feel God's presence on a school campus again. The entire production was amazing and I could not have enjoyed it more. It's very worth finding out more about the story of how it was written first, so when you watch it live you'll have a deeper appreciation. A whole lot has changed since I was attending here. The name of the mascot has changed. Also this was called Point Loma Nazarene College. Speaking of changes, one thing that hopefully hasn't changed is the cafeteria food, most college cafeteria food SUCKS…NOT HERE…the food is/was catered by Marriot. When i started my degree i chose Liberty University, at first. But, I didn’t feel it was the right place for me. So i decided to transfer and i researched for a perfect fit for me. Salem was one of my favorite choices because it had the master degree program i wanted and all online!! Well, i applied and got a call from Nashelle, and she made me feel so welcomed!!!! She is the most sweet and helpful person. She walked me through everything i needed to transfer, she was very knowledgeable and kind. Then, i got in contact with Brenda from financial aid, and i am gonna tell you, this lady explained very detailed all the steps and everything i was signing and what all the numbers regarding my finances meant. She went beyond and explained even how and why Liberty was requesting or saying this or that, because everything was so confusing to me. She put me at ease, she was patient. These two ladies went above and beyond and I appreciate them so much. The classes are in a different format, 1 class every 4 weeks, which is amazing, sometimes overwhelming with all the reading but i like it because i can focus on one thing. If your online in your own home it's fine but if it's on campus I'd think about it the dorms are small and if your not a fan of the cold I'd bring a bunch of blankets because depending on the room you get your heater might not work there is also no AC the Wi-Fi is very picky about who it let's connect to it and currently the Wi-Fi has been down for almost a month and a half and I've had to rely on my hotspot which costs money and if I didn't live close by a lot of my assignments would be late because I'm unable to get any Wi-Fi connection this is a on and off problem that happens quite frequently this review is mainly about living quality the education is fine depending on what your major iseViLxSin MWG

When I started my Masters Degree in Engineering Management, I chose this school simple because the process to get started was easy. Thought a competitive program the team, faculty and admissions process was clear. Communication is very important in my decision making and I knew well of my tuition fees upfront. Even during the quarantine I was still able to get in touch with staff.Then came the lesson plans. Very intense yet I had a broad understanding and knowledge of the course. This summer I took my teenage son to the Lake Land College and just for the architecture alone it is worth the visit. We were disappointed that the main room was closed off due to repairs but that was certainly not the fault of the library. Each room we visited was a unique gem. My only criticism is that the volunteers in the front hallway were more interested in talking among themselves than in answering any of our questions. Indeed they almost seemed annoyed when I finally interrupted them after standing by the volunteer information table for several minutes without any one of them addressing us, despite no one else being there.Elnora Foston

These are a few things that irked me – their int’l office director back then was amazing, but the current one messed up my sibling’s paperwork by giving inaccurate information. 'Business is Personal' is tagline of the school and everyone makes it sure to follow it completely. MBA itself is difficult and time consuming but from students, professors to career coaches and admission staff put in lot of efforts to help us as much as possible. Concentration wise – SCM and marketing are really good. I cannot speak for other as I am not aware of the details. Financial aids – School offers tremendous support in this if you are eligible and great candidate. Future Forward – The latest curriculum is very new to be reviewed but core strengths are similar so should be great value addition in near future. Placements- Graduate Career Center helps a lot with recruiting events and career coaching. International students have limited opportunities and have to try harder (but it is not specific to school). Additionally, the Student Engagement team pours their heart into ensuring students are getting involved, have access to leadership positions, and feel connected to the school. This business school has a great reputation, and although I knew that coming in as a student, I got way more than what I was expecting from it over my 4 years here. The professors, faculty, and even the alumni will never say no if you need help and they will do the best they can to help you get where you want to be school/career-wise. This is a great university with students from all around the world, very beautiful buildings, gardens and sport facilities. It was a fantastic experience to study there for an year and enjoy such a nice atmosphere. I wanted to add to this review, which was that I had read through these other reviews here on Google before I signed up for their programs and I have not gotten that experience. I put in the request on a Friday for two of the programs I finished and received TWO of my diplomas in the middle of the next week. I also live 4 hours away from the school, so it may be different depending on where you live. I have been taking online classes with them since the pandemic started. It takes a lot of dedication but I've earned my certificate in Health Administration, my Associates degree in Health Information Technology, and I'm in my last semester for my Bachelors in Healthcare Management. Since I've been here, I've learned a lot and I feel very prepared for the workforce, a completely different field than what I was in before. I found some of the classes I have taken to be very interesting and fun. The instructors are awesome and so are the staff I have met over the phone so far. With Fremont College I have my Massage Therapy Sports and Rehab AS and my Healthcare Admin and Management BS. I don't know too many people that can confidently say they use their degrees. I 1000% do! When I attended Chico State it was a very good university. It was fair and affordable. I could comfortably speak with other students and Professors and debate about multiple viewpoints. I was born and raised in Chico and I loved the idea of attending and graduating from Chico State. However, I enlisted in the Marine Corps reserve my Sophomore year. I had to drop my classes last minute in the middle of the semester in order to attend Marine Corps boot camp. I leave for about 3- 6 months in total to complete my training. When I return I come to find out that the administration did not drop my classes correctly and they had failed me about 18 units I had at the time. When I attempted to dispute them that they had to erase my semester and reinstate me because of the the Federal Law that protects me as a service member under USERRA act of 1994. The school and the Veteran's Affairs failed to reinstate me and refund me my money or let me take my classes again. They violated my rights as a service member activated under title 10 active duty orders. I continued to attend Chico to finish my degree but as I took more and more classes the Professors leaned to be biased to the "Left" as some say it which I do not mind but the school turned from an education system to a system were people were babied and Professors lectured Socialist propaganda. I have since dropped out and I am attending another university that is better accredited and is fair. I suggest to other Veterans to NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL! CSU, Chico claims to be veteran friendly but they are not and only want your GI bill benefits and tax cuts. They do not care about veterans or anything related to veterans.Adrian B

This school really bent over backwards to make sure I got everything I wanted out of my education. An on-staff internship coordinator; professors that are committed to helping pave the way to your decided career; services for scholarships, study abroad programs, and career development; plus plenty of programs from honors societies to fraternities to help you get what you want out of your time in school. At what other school could I have coauthored a published research paper with a professor in my bachelor's? The only shortfalls of this school are related to academic rigor–some of the teachers are either long past caring about their subject and should have retired or aren't particularly qualified to teach their subject. This also reflects on the students–there is a slim alumni network and many of your peers may be unmotivated, without a plan, or fail to show sufficient skill or knowledge by graduation. The school has made strides to crack down on the party atmosphere, which I resented my freshman year but was grateful for by my senior. It is also working hard to attract more and better faculty. These efforts seem to be really helping it improve it's reputation, attracting better faculty and students alike.William Walker

I had an amazing experience at Booth. The program and culture live up to the mantras of "Challenge everything" and "Independent thought" in my experience. Personally, I was drawn to the fact that there is no one path at Booth — you're not forced into a cohort, you're not told which classes you have to take, you're not assigned to study teams and instead, you have the freedom to chart your own course (within some guidelines of course!) and you gain much wider exposure (e.g., taking classes with 2nd years). Looking back, the LEAD course was extremely helpful and I apply those lessons about leadership and self-awareness everyday now. The student culture is very strong (and different than what many perceive) — it's a bit different from other schools where there's a concentrated campus that everyone lives near and again, things aren't dictated for you. I was incredibly impressed by my classmates — not just their intelligence and career drive but also their passion for traveling and experiencing the city of Chicago. I did not find it to be competitive at all – I think because of the grade non-disclosure but also in recruiting, I had so much help from my classmates. A bit about my experience: I was a career changer. I worked in HR before and worked in consulting afterwards (boutique/startup firm in Chicago). My course specializations were Strategy, Economics, and Marketing. I was very involved with the Admissions team while there, serving on the student adcom, leading tours, planning admit weekend, etc. I also loved the Business Solutions Group where I worked on a pro-bono consulting project for a non-profit education company. I lived in Hyde Park (rare for Booth students, but I loved it). My advice to future applicants: engage with the Booth community as much as possible. Visit campus, sit in on a class, talk to students and alums, connect with the alumni group in your closest city. I have graduated with five degrees from four different universities in Pittsburgh ranging from Bachelor to Doctorate degrees. I can honestly state that Duquesne was my favorite school. I received a higher quality of education and benefitted more from the smaller classes which are not offered by other schools. Most of my educators actually cared about their students and were not at all condescending (ok, there were a couple). Duquesne costs a bit more, but it was worth it. The campus is great. The classrooms; halls; and grounds are clean, traditional, and safe. My child chose to go to another school, but I would sleep better knowing that was living on campus at Duquesne rather than an apartment in Oakland. The only criticism I have is Duquesne has become more noticeably politically liberal than other Catholic schools. I’m ok with limited expression of personal liberal or conservative views, but I am disappointed when those views become a driver for the facility and administration to influence students. Some of those views have reached national attention which lowers my annual donations to the school.Jerry

We went for a campus tour today and absolutely fell in love with the campus. We are from the Pittsburgh area and I never expected the campus to be as big and charming as it is. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and the student:teacher ratio (14:1) with an average class size of 28 was a major bonus. The dorms are 2 bed frames with a desk and closet for each roommate with 2 drawers under the bed as well. They're spacious and clean. They have an amazing 4 floor workout building with every piece of equipment you could ever need! It truly is a hidden gem right in the downtown area. I heard that USD is an excellent private university. They have highly accredited teaching, law, technology, language, environmental and psychology schools, as well as a number of others. I also heard that their physical education school is quite good. USD is one of our nation's top rated colleges in regards to higher education and just to get admitted, you must score fairly high on the SAT ( Taking the ACT can always helps too ) and presenting the admissions evaluation committee with a high school GPA that shows that you were in the top percentile of your graduating class is very beneficial; it also helps to have done some volunteer work and to have been on at least one or two high school committees. All of these combined together should help you gain admission to USD. This college is quite competitive-as are most of our best colleges nowadays. Most of USD's professors are seasoned-the best in our country-and very demanding; graduating in four years means a lot of hard work and can be a wearisome task and often taking a couple of summer session classes or a class or two during Christmas break can help one graduate within this time scale. They do offer scholarships however, these are difficult to get and student loans ( Federal Educational Grants can easily surpass fifty-thousand dollars a year! USD's tuition is at the high end of the scale, especially if you live off of campus ( The City of San Diego is amongst the ten highest priced "cost of living" metropolitan areas in the USA ). There are hundreds of nice condominiums, townhouses and apartments within the surrounding area however, the rental rates for a one to four bedroom unit start at about $900 to $1200 per room ( living together ) per month or about $2200 for a two bedroom townhouse/apartment, to $3500+ for a three to four bedroom ; I'm just giving you a general idea…it's a might expensive to live anywhere in San Diego. USD has many of the most beautifully designed buildings in San Diego; architectural masterpieces. Tourists who come to visit San Diego often include this private university in their sightseeing itinerary, as the photographic opportunities around this campus are simply marvelous; especially on a clear winter day from about early afternoon to sunset. They have a small visitors center, as you drive through their main entrance center and if you get lost, you should stop and ask a couple of students and they may be able to help you? There's a lot to see, including San Diego's famed Tecalote State Park, which lies just below the north side of this university.charles chiles

The campus is pretty. The teachers, at least those who are fluent in English, are mediocre, and those whose English language skills are very poor, are token so this campus can brag about being diverse. The dorms are so noisy that it is impossible to do any work in one's own room or get any sleep before 3 a.m. The people responsible for policing the dorms are too lazy and callously indifferent to do anything, and no matter how many complaints are made, it is a nightmare to live in the dirty, smelly and horribly noisy dorms. The religious classes, which are mandatory, are a total waste of time and not based on any accurate facts or historical accuracy. The head of the Student Health Center is dishonest and harmful, willing to smear any student she takes a hatred to. There are no responsible administrative officers to be found if you have a problem. The University accepted my son to the credential program August 2011. After 2 years and more than $32000 in tuition he is not being allowed to do his student teaching because, in the opinion of some professors, he lacks the skills they require. These professionals (who demand that the credential candidates be able to reach and teach all students no matter what their learning styles or disabilities) should be knowledgeable enough to bring out the best in a young man who has wanted to be a teacher since in the seventh grade he was chosen by his teacher to tutor other students in reading. I graduated in Food Science at Colorado State in 2011. The education in the classroom and in life that I received while I attended university was life changing. I met some of the best people I have had in my life and I pursued my love for nutrition and food science while I was there. My degree opened up many doors for me in my career in the brewing industry and at the time the undergrad brewing course was one of the only ones in the country. I am so glad I attended CSU and I can say without a doubt my life and career would not be the same had I not gone here. My daughter and I visited the campus as it currently ranks number 3 for Veterinary Medicine. The staff was genuine, sincere and gracious. They setup one on one meetings to make the visit extremely personal. They appeared to have the students best interest at heart and even supplied a full day parking pass. The facilities appeared updated and state of the art. They were heads and shoulders above our visit at Texas aTm. I have studied in here as an international student for one year, but now I transfer to another college. The main reason is the reputation of the CSU college of business. The employment rate of international students after they graduation is so low, and I rarely find one get even an internship. Although there are lots of nice people live here, you get almost nothing to do in this dull town besides hiking or playing with your dogs.王信

As a 4th year student who will be graduating in Spring 2018, I will be terribly sad to be forced to leave such a terrific school. UGA has provided me with all the opportunities I could ever want. I was looking for a college that would have all the resources I would need in order to go to Optometry School and UGA has exceeded my expectations. The classes here have truly prepared me well for the next 4 years of my life. I am grateful to have gone to such an amazing school. If you’re looking to go into the healthcare field and want to be best prepared for graduate school, UGA is the right way to go. Also, the campus is large and beautiful! Since they have instituted 6 sessions Columbia College has proven they are not about the students. By making this move they force students to take student loans or lose part of their Pell grant due to not being enrolled full time. They try telling their students that 6 sessions per year will benefit them. Being a student that is currently enrolled and have been for a few years now I can tell you it is of no good to the student. Not only does it cost us more but instead of having any type of break between already accelerated courses we only have two days off. This is ultimately going to lead to more stressed out students and lower GPA's. There was a time I recommended this College to everyone I came across. Now sadly I make it very clear Columbia College is the worst college you could attend. It is a joke. Rolla's new policy if we don't offer something you need in seat take it online. Not mentioning that not only are online courses significantly more expensive but the work that is required for these is beyond reason. I am talking at minimum double the workload of an in seat class. I'm currently enrolled at CC. This is the best college I've ever been to. The faculty is understanding and very helpful. They actually care about your education. My advisor was by far the best. She helped me through some very tough decisions and helped me to make the best financial decisions. I visited the enrollment center 3 times to change classes due to my own reasons and all three times they were understanding, helpful, and encouraging. I also went to the enrollment services about my financial status multiple times throughout the year and they were always there to help. They showed me my financial plan exactly including scholarships, loans, and grants. They explained everything to where I could understand and even printed me copies of my plan. BEST COLLEGE containing the VERY BEST PEOPLE! The other reviews that had one star and rude comments, it's because of their stupidity and closed mindedness. I had a terrible experience at this school. I would highly recommend not going to this college. They do not care about how you as the student does. All they care a bout is your money. You will NEVER hear back from any of your online teachers. I tried emailing a teaching with a question 3 times and not once did I hear back from the teacher. If for any reason you need to withdrawal they will not except it. Even if you withdraw a day or 2 after the deadline, they will make you pay every cent, even if you had good reason for the withdrawal. If you want to attend a college that cares about your needs and your success I would highly recommend choosing a different college because the only thing they care about at this college is getting your money. CBU is pretty rad, and I want to respond to what I've seen in a couple reviews here. The first of which is people saying the location in Riverside sucks. I'll admit Riverside is not super tight, but there is the mission inn and a drive in movie theater and a few other things which are pretty cool within a few minutes of campus. The best part of Riverside is it's less than an hour from the beach, an hour from the mountains, and hour from LA and 45 minutes from a few theme parks. So if you have a car and aren't super lazy, your weekends should be fun. And there's always fun stuff going on campus too, (dive in movie nights at the pool, intramural and NCAA sports games, concerts, carnivals etc.) so if you have a good attitude you can have fun hanging out on campus. People are saying CBU wants your money. Of course they do, so does every other university that is in business. However CBU will really work with you to help you afford the school. Get good grades, maybe go out for a sports team or the music department and you'll get even more money. You have to work for it though, they don't give out serious amounts of money to anyone. If your parents are in ministry (pastor/missionary/work full time at a church) you're in luck too cuz they have scholarships for that too. It's a Christian school… Yep. I wouldn't say intolerant though. You will be taught what they believe to be Christian values and you can only expect that. There's like 7,000 students too so I'm sure there are rude intolerant ones there too. I think you will find rude/intolerant people no matter where you go but it most definitely is not the essence of the student body. CBU has a uniquely welcoming and loving community, and that's something I've heard from Christians and non-Christians alike at the school. Both are welcome to come but both also are required to go to chapel and follow the rules. I don't agree with all the rules but most of them are a pretty reasonable balance of trying to give freedom to students and adhere to Christian principles (coming from a non-conservative Christian background). That's part of making the decision to go to a Christian university, and realistically it's probably what's best for you anyways. If anyone has anything bad to say about the food I don't know what world famous chef you had cooking for you your entire life before here. The caf has killer variety, Chik-fil-a is freaking Chik-fil-a, Wandas has great breakfast and the best steak quesadillas, and El-Monte is as good as Chipotle. CBU does give real world experience. I know as a business major there are some awesome professors that are all about real world experience. Dr. Weniger and Alderson are a couple that come to mind. You get out what you put into your classes and almost every single professor at the school is very open to spending time with you helping you out with homework or just life. Academics are pretty top tier, but professors do come and go and though most are great, some are much better than others, so do a little time looking round rate my professor if you want the best ones. CBU is great. Sure there are other universities that are great too (not to many that compare that are in Southern California though) but CBU is a well rounded school academically, socially and spiritually. No school/student body is perfect, that's just life, but CBU is a solid choice to spend 4 years growing academically and spiritually into who you are going to be the rest of your life.Jake Roque

Okay, so I went to this school originally considering a nursing degree. It's hard to have many nice things to say about this school.. The school looks nice, but the neighborhood area is crap. You have to drive kinda far to see or do anything nice. It's hardly in Riverside, CA. Feel more like Norco, armpit of California. They put most of their students in cheap housing. Much of it was temporary when I was there. Other housing was old folks homes. Weird cheap, and kinda gross. The major feature of this school is this: They want your money. That's all. It's nothing spectacular in any way, and based on the price, it's a really bad deal. They "award" small scholarships to practically any student for any reason. They try to bring in a bunch of students through their music school. A music degree is NOT WORTH 100k- 150k of debt. And please remember folks, if everybody gets a scholarship, it's not actually a scholarship. THINK about it.. They just want your attention and your money. ALSO, Please be aware they will be raising the tuition on you every year, by lots of money! If you start at 30-35k, You will probably end at 40-45k annually. It's probably costing something around or over 40 or more thousand per year now. And YOU WILL pay more than you think by the end of the year. It's a Christian school, which is fine if you're a Christian. They are relatively intolerant conservatives though. Very serious/ oppressive Christian all over the place. Many of the students are sheltered, and having moved on to a regular university, I can tell you it doesn't represent the real world experience, or normal people, for the most part. Regarding this: Don't bother going here unless you're a rich serious sheltered Christian. If that's what you value, then maybe you'll like this place. Some of the people are fairly friendly, and the food in the cafeteria was good WHEN I was there. That more than a year ago. Some of the teachers were alright as well. I mostly took science classes, for reference. In summary, if you're not a young Christian who has no desire for real-world experience,then don't go here. The price is so not worth it! It's an institution for profit! Go to your local community college and earn entrance to a great University! Even Ivy league schools are looking to replace young dropouts with students that did well in their community colleges! It's just not worth it. If you're a thinking person, you'll start hating this school not long after you get there. NOT WORTH ITMichael D. Bear

I loved all 4 years at this school! As a freshman, I lived in the dorms and met my group of closest friends that I still hang out with to this day. I loved the food and had to be careful with dessert in the cafeteria otherwise I would have packed on the calories. The school does a great job of setting up events that target every student and gives great deals for other off-campus events like cheap Lakers tickets, cheap tickets to theme parks, and other giveaways. I am Mexican and I have never once felt like I was discriminated against at this school, if anything there are plenty of people at this school who make an effort to talk about racial injustices among students. As far as the incident in Ontario, I just want to say that you can find that level of ingorance at any university and even more so outside of that setting. Two girls made a stupid decision to throw a drink on a guy and they happened to be CBU students. If I’m being real here, CBU does not turn many people away when it comes to the application process, so any person who has higher than a 2.5 GPA will most likely get in. CBU does not necessarily focus on whether you are a Christian or not because they’d rather have you here at this school than at a school where the chance of hearing the gospel is much lower. Now back to the point, CBU is honestly such a great school and if you’ve ever visited, you notice right away that the atmosphere is one that you can’t find in many other places. People treat you with love, respect, understanding, and kindness. CBU is a school that truly looks to serve the students in any way possible and that’s the truth. Don’t let others who are are upset about what happened in Ontario tear down the idea of coming to this school because you will definitely see that the number of students who will treat you with love and respect far outweighs the ones who would pour a drink on you for sitting during the national anthem. Christian or not, CBU will welcome you with open arms regardless of ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, gender, etc..Gabriel Lara

The most confusing and non helpful school I’ve been to. Advisor seems clearly annoyed and making rude comments. No one listens to what you truly want to do it’s more like “well this is how we do it so just deal with it” environment. They were not at all prepared for going online and still isn’t. Being a university I thought they would have more online options, but clearly don’t. Also almost every portal or website of theirs is not updated and confusing for a student.Ashlyn Tamietti

Eastern has come to be my favorite place. The resources are endless when it comes to you needing help. The class sizes are fairly small so you get a quality education for a great cost. There are tons of opportunities to grow individually to become the best version of yourself. Not only that, but the campus community is so friendly and helpful with whatever you need. I am glad to call Eastern my home for the next few years.Isaiah H.

Among many other reasons. Here's one of my experiences, joined a class of 60. Teacher was actively trying to fail students instead of teach them because he wanted the class to seem more prestigious. Result, only 15 people even showed up to the final, who knows how many of them passed.Scott Pele

At first I absolutely loved New England College, until I found out they are full of malarkey. It's like most places, you are important until we no longer need you. I have attended New England since January 2010 as graduate student. I have exhausted my student loans attending here because the tuition is very expensive. I recently finished all of my course thanks to Kevin Martin who assisted me with an issue I had. I was getting ready to repeat an entire class for one letter grade. Once the classes were completed;it's like I no longer exist or I am no longer important since my financial aid has ceased with my exit.. I can't get anyone to answer the phone or emails. I asked for job placement assistance because NEC advertises they will assist and the help I got was a link to an NEC website that offered me nothing. I am grateful to God I have graduated but sorry New England is the place I graduated from. I almost convinced my daughter to transfer here but I am glad I saw the realness of the organization before that happened. I am not saying every person that works here is cold and unfeeling but many of the ones that I have met are. I am soooooooooooo very glad I am done with New England and I pray they will begin to live up to the mission statement that's visible on their page. The college itself might be ok, but the company they use to handle their online classes, Bisk, is absolutely terrible. TERRIBLE. Will never attend another school handled through Bisk. EVER. NEC's online classes were hit or miss. A few had really amazing professors who you could tell truly loved their job. The discussions and assignments were college level and what you would expect. Others professors seemed to be there just to collect a pay check and the class felt more like high school than college. Additionally, you can expect to be thrown in with students who would have benefited from some remedial courses before being thrown into standard classes. At best I felt like I was attending a dingy, sub-par community college. Wouldn't recommend, especially if you really want to learn something.Jacquie Bolton (ThisisNotaCliffhanger)

I believe I made a bad decision in registering for this college online program. Before applying, they said there were going to be video lectures from professors, but the professors seems little involve in the online classes. In the first week of my first class, the professor asked us to read a total of 6 chapters, a case of 18 pages plus a big reviw of these, he also asked us to do the 20+ questions at the end of each chapter and plus 2 more writting assignment. All do the same week. Oh also you need to write about 3 discussion boards and review 2 classmates work. I understand college can get serious, but this is overly ridiculous and poor management in the college and professionals side. I'm getting out once I finish my first class. They lied to me to get me involve in this program so expensive.Jenny Suarez

Harvard is one of the most prestigious universities in the World and every one wishes to visit it once in a life time. I had this chance to go there and walk around this beautiful institute. The good thing is that it is open for all and everyone could go around and visit. I saw many tourists there enjoying walking and taking photos. The good thing which I liked was that seeing people doing Yoga in the open space and in nature. I liked that and participated with them in yoga. A must visit place if you are in Boston or around.Salim Khoso

It was nice walking around Harvard university . I would recommend either taking a guided tour or to download and follow the self guided tour so you understand the history behind the university. I loved the library and the story behind it. Unfortunately wasn’t able to go inside but would have loved to. There is small water splash where I think kids can play had we planned better and known about it.Meghna Rao

Great place and one of the oldest & finest universities in the world. This is a dream place for some students. This institute is very inspiring and admiring. The Widener library is well established. Massachusetts Hall is one of the oldest buildings. Harvard Yard is very amazing to look around. The university has a great history and great heights touched.Hari Swaroop

I'm a male, late 20's student at USF, and this has been my experience: 1) Rigorous – Having had a decent amount of life experience before coming here, I expected it to be easy. I was wrong. As someone who has always been good at math, the math classes were all challenging and required a lot of time and effort to do well in. The same goes for their science classes. I had attended another, easier university before coming here, and the difference was huge. 2) Political/Religious – Being a catholic university in the middle of a very liberal city, there is a good chance that someone will at some point try to shove religion or liberal politics down your throat, with a higher probability of the latter. As someone who doesn't care for politics, I'd prefer if they were left out of the classroom. 3) Small class sizes – All but one of my classes have been under 30 people, with many being less than 20. There are personal, 1-on-1 classes for music lessons in guitar, piano, vocals, etc. There are ample staff to handle any problem and any and all issues I've had were solved quickly. Compare this to a state school with class sizes in the 100's and there is really no comparison. 4) Expensive – With an annual price tag of about 50k, plus the astronomically high San Francisco cost of living, it is incredibly expensive to go to school here. I came here largely because I had a full-ride scholarship, and would have seriously considered other options if I didn't. 5) Amenities – There are several large libraries, excellent quiet study areas, private music rooms with instruments, and the campus itself is quite beautiful. With the tuition comes a free public transit card and gym access, at a very nice gym. 6) Overall quality – The quality of the school overall is very high. I can't say how it compares to the likes of top schools like Stanford, but many of USF's professors have come from those big name schools. The combination of talented, intelligent professors and personal 1-on-1 attention make it a great place to learn and study.Tyler D

I transferred out of the University of San Francisco real quick. The school is expensive, the education is ok but the material is too easy, and the social life is garbage unless you're undoubtedly liberal. The professors were very nice and helpful, but anyone from the administration building is out to get you, ultimately this place is just a big money pit. They'll find a way to fine you and take your money even if you haven't done anything wrong.Alex Douthat

Beautiful campus in the heart of the city but otherwise, a school filled with professors that don’t really care, poor accommodations for students with disabilities, extremely expensive, campus police focuses more on giving you parking tickets and people’s conduct rather than ensuring vehicles are not broken into. Did I mention is extremely expensive and they will not accommodate you well if you need to take time off for medical/family issues.Jake Bilyak
