This place is a gem. Great class options for literally ALL! Master Chaney treats you like family and we consider her part of ours. This is so important as most studios are about money which leads to an overpopulated class and no relationships with the student or parents. Her training not only includes the traditional techniques of Muay Thai but also focuses heavily on skill building drills to develop body awareness, strength, agility, and flexibility. We also appreciate her way of coaching/expectations. She is firm but fair. In this day and age with children being overly coddled this is so refreshing. I love how we also have the choice of how many days a week we can come to the studio. Other gyms my daughter has been to have limited us to only 2-3 times a week. Being able to come everyday allows my daughter to gain experience quickly. The changes I have seen in my daughter in the short time she has been here are significant. His fitness level, attitude, and mental clarity have all improved. The training he gets from Grand Master Chaney and Mrs. Chaney is unmatched. This is my daughter’s third season at N-PAC and the year over year growth has been incredible! The vibe is “We Are Family” with world-class instruction! The N-PAC team is encouraging while still pushing their students to reach their full potential. We are part of their Competition Dance team, but this past fall my daughter joined the dance ensemble cast of Mary Poppins the musical performing for sold-out audiences two weekends in a row at the Old Town Temecula Community Theatre. Great school with a very active PTA and activities for the children and families, including a fall festival and Hot Chocolate with Santa during the holidays. Kindergarten classes are half days with students attending either morning or afternoon sessions. For the rest of the students, Mondays are normally short days with dismissal just after 1pm with a 2:45pm dismissal the rest of the days. Teachers are very friendly, and we had great experiences with all the teachers that taught our children. The emphasis on building good character qualities in addition to the academics is wonderful. Only reason I rated the school 4 stars is that the parking lot is on the smaller side (but there are plenty of cross guards and parking monitors to ensure people transit safely during the busiest times of the day) and that I wished kindergarten was a full day lime what my family experienced overseas instead of just a half day. As the significant other to someone who attends this school, I think I could do a better job at managing the PT students clinical rotation. Not only do they ask students to pick 5 places they would like to attend in gaining PT experience and then pick the farthest places from those 5, but when local practices (who have contracts to take PT students) are interested in having a student on board, Claudia (the faculty member in charge of the rotations) will give it to a different student and then reprimand the student of interest. They also do nothing to help the students during these rotations – it's insane to think a school actually enjoys seeing people go into debt like this one does. If I could give this school no stars I would. If you're going to go in debt, I suggest going to debt at Long Beach or a different school, because this one is not worth it. As an aspiring OT, I applied two years in a row- sent all required and necessary materials again last year, was told everything was received, and continually followed up (as difficult as it was to reach the one and only admissions coordinator) and was told that my application was forwarded for review, only to later get told that I was missing documents that I already submitted/they lost. Very unorganized application process and admissions department, and very frustrating because it was a lot of time effort, and money wasted. For how much this school charges to attend (outrageous), you would think they would be more organized and have more than one person who handles admissions! Sadly, I am not impressed with this school. It is extremely unorganized and the professors don't teach, they just give you assigned readings and video discussions to post. What am I paying these people for?! Also, I recently found out that after taking the GRE twice, they aren't requiring it for incoming students due to COVID (even though I took it in the middle of the pandemic). If you have the option to go to a different OT school, do it! They only care about money and not producing quality practitioners. Special education Ms.cindys class My son has (Moderate) autism and non verbal (he only knows a few words). He would come home with scratches/scrapes and I was never told how he got them. I would email ms.cindy and the respond was always that she'll ask who ever my son was with that day or she'll say that they don't remember seeing my son fall or anything. She would send my son home with a sweater that wasn't his sometimes, his water bottle went "missing" at school somehow, and when it came to IEP meetings she would schedule, but would forget to cancel or would try and act like I forgot we had an IEP meeting whenever she did. During the meetings she seemed unprepared. I now know never to sign an IEP until it's all in paper because teachers say one thing, but write another thing in the IEP. At the end of the school year she kept suggesting for my son to attend another school. Did I forget to mention she called cps claiming my son had belt marks, hand marks, and bruises on him? I didn't end up finishing highschool there bc I was bullied to bad, and the school did absolutely nothing about it. It was the best decision of my life, made from my dad, to leave that school and drive the extra mile to Escondido Charter High. I graduated early from there, and now here I am so many years later, a nurse, a mother, and a wife. I own my own house, and have a blessed life, but not any thanks to MVHS. All that school cares about is image, not the kids that go there. And the only way you "fit in" was if you played sports. So parents, take the time to really think about where your sending your kids. Admin and football coaches (Wilson and Fazio) continue to allow players to play when a parent shows them medical record proof that their son is currently using drugs and has a drug problem. The district rationale is that the drug use goes on off campus so there is nothing they can do. . . wonder if they would see it that way if it was their child struggling with addiction. Of course when my son left the school and continued to get in trouble as a result of his drug and alcohol use none of these coaches or administrators are there to offer any help. The school and the district's actions show their true priorities despite all the big talk about stressing academics and making good life choices.Dale Sawyers

MSJC has handled everything online so poorly. The website is super hard to navigate, if you want to reach any department they never really get back, and 2/3 counselors I’ve worked with sucked. I told one of them I’d prefer not to take my math class now and another semester instead and she scheduled me anyway. Not to mention I have a specific career path through a transfer program to CSUSM and the same counselor told me I need to figure it out on my own if I was even on the right path, because I noticed my past counselor put me under the wrong path all together. I have had the opportunity to visit and attend different community colleges in California. I must say that Mt. San Jacinto College has in it possession an educational and administrative team that ranks high in customer service. I go to Thompson middle school, it's overcrowded, a lot of bullying, there have been more than 5 fights, most of the fights are girl fights, and there are only about 5 campus supervisors. The campus supervisors get paid for doing nothing there are kids getting bullied and beat up, and the supervisors don't even come help until after. Absolutely horrible. The teachers don't care very much about the students, homework load is pure stupidity, and I got bullied to such an extent that I had to transfer out of this hellhole.
