So far I have had a just ok experience here at SPSCC. First starting with the financial aid office. We are almost three weeks into the quarter and they just now processed my awards (grants that is) but it is sitting and hasn’t been disbursed yet. Every time I have inquired about it I am given the excuse of their new ctclink system. We have got to get it together! People that apply for and receive financial aid and grants need these to help get through school. They are eligible for a reason and that is because they are low income. So taking an excessive amount of time of sending students their financial aid puts a damper on not only their learning but also their living situation. This is effecting the students and the students only. Also, the bookstore listed a book for my class as required so I purchased it a week before the quarter. Come to find out the Professor is using two completely different books. Had to make another trip to the campus to return it which was an inconvenience since I’m all online classes. Then the two books needed the bookstore does not carry. It’s been challenge after challenge here and this is just the beginning.glenda fox

I attended this college for exactly five months, and I decided to leave because I lost interest in the classes that I took, and I didn't have the interest to have a major career. An education for myself would have been very important, and I had the capability to work with subjects if I was committed to the work that I was doing, but I didn't have the interest, so I decided to be a writer instead. I also left the college because I was treated carelessly by many students, and I was treated the same way in high school, so I didn't want to continue spending more time in an environment where I would continue to be disregarded. If you are committed to getting an education, then it is all a matter of interest for what your career is, and it's up to anyone for what they want best, but even if I don't have a high education, I still have moral education from my potential to be a writer. I do recommend this college for anyone, but I hoped that the students would have been more sincere and polite, then I would have stayed there.Colby Kanter

I attended a few classes here a long time ago. I needed to get the transcripts rather quickly because the deadline for University admissions is closing in. When I visited the office the lady that helped me proceeded to treat me like dirt. I asked if the document would be in an envelope and if they needed the address I was sending it to and she proceeded to mansplain transcripts ("this is the paper its going to go on after I feed it into the printer"). From the perspective of someone who works in higher education…if I were a student and had to be mansplained to every time in needed to speak to registration/financial aid/cashiering…I would complain to her boss. I'm a vet and am finishing up my first semester at Liberty. So far I have had nothing but good experiences. I was nervous about going back to school after being in service for years, but the transition has been fairly easy with all of the help lve received.My instructors are very personable and go out of their way to help me with any problems I may run into. Professors are very professional and, unlike many schools, encourage students to form their own opinions. I have never felt as though any political agendas or doctrines were being forced upon me. Non Christians are treated equally well as everyone else, and are even welcomed to challenge or question anything they may disagree with. Divinity professors are more than willing to listen to other opinions and will clearly explain anything a non believer might want to know about Christianity. The campus itself is beautiful and full of fun things to do besides schoolwork. I am actually learning, rather than simply connecting dots to get a degree and that is exactly what I hoped for. Since I've gone to the school I've got to see politicians such as Nigel Farage and Donald Trump Jr., musicians like Jeremy Camp, sports stars like Brett Favre, world class entrepreneurs, and experts such as economists who advised the president. I’ve got one year to go to graduate from this place😭 Being a student at this university has been quite a wonderful experience. To be honest I think it’s one of the it’s not the most state of the art schools in the world. It’s impossible to get bored here. I will say though one thing about this place is that if you come here on fire for Jesus then you’ll find people on fire for Jesus but if you come here to party then you’ll find the party people so make of it what you want. Yes there’s been some drama here in the past few years but there’s drama everywhere and Liberty has been able to manage it pretty well I’d say. I absolutely love every single professor that I’ve had here, they’ve gone above and beyond to help make sure that I get an education of quality. Set up a campus tour. It was 3 hours which entailed visiting the dorms and dining areas. To include the fitness and recreation center. As well the Jerry Falwell Library and Vines Center. We walked the campus for a few hours and then we rode the bus for the remainder of the tour. Everyone was friendly. The student tour guides did an excellent job. The campus was huge. It was well maintained. They have three dorm options. One to include apartments that house seven people. Freshmen are able to bring vehicles on campus. Wide selection of dining options. Chick Fil A, Dunkin Donuts and many others. Dining options in same building as library.LaTrenda

If you are looking for a university that constantly drops classes without notifying you and consistently mess up your financial aid and student loans, then this is the university for you. I have never dealt with such an unorganized and incompetent higher education facility. If I were not so close to reaching my end goal with my education I would transfer. If you are planning on taking courses at the HEAT Center in Aberdeen through Notre Dame, such as myself, don't bother because courses are rarely offered there and I have had 3 courses in the past 2 semesters that were to be held at the HEAT Center that have been cancelled and I was never notified by Notre Dame. Now they have notified Fed Loans that I graduated in August when I have not completed all my coursework. Talk about unorganized. I don't think I have encountered one person on the administrative staff that seems like they know what they are doing. I can say my professors have been good; however all of the negative encounters I have had with administration has overshadowed those positives.Kelly Borowiak

This review is of the Entry level BSN nursing program. To be fair, this institution actually has a very good nursing program. The culture of the environment however needs plenty of improvements. This nursing program lacks cultural diversity and sensitivity. The nursing program and it’s educators still caters to the program’s largely Caucasian student population. All of the full time professors that lecture are white with the exception of one Indo-Caribbean professor. This has created an environment of both intentional and unintentional biases, which has also created an open tolerance for racial and ethnic prejudices that should never be acceptable or tolerated in an educational environment. The nursing program would greatly benefit from including an office of Cultural diversity and inclusion to better accommodate and nurture its students from different racial and ethnic backgrounds.Beautiful Life of B

Notre Dame of Maryland was the last college I visited, but the first one that felt like home. I'm only a sophomore, but I know that I made the best decision because the faculty, staff, and student body make this place so great. My professors are always available and helpful, which is great in a pinch, and living on campus with my friends is the best thing I could have asked for. The programs create something for everyone (as seen in my own dorm!) with one roommate as Pre-Pharm in the 3/4 year program, the other currently applying for the Nursing Program, and I'm applying for the 5 year MAT program for education. Such a terrible experience trying to just consider registering, that I am now no longer interested. I called to make an appointment with an academic adviser. I was put on hold for 20 mins without ever speaking to a human or given any other option. After 20 minutes, I hung up and called the main number. She said, "well, I can't do much, but they have direct number I can transfer you to." So, she transferred me. To some random faculty member in some department I had no interest in. That person was very nice and told me she'd walk my request over, and have someone call me back from advising. They did call me back to set up an appointment, which we did. However, I was driving and couldn't write down the details, so she assured me she would email me all the info. Of course, I never received the info. So, I just called to cancel my appointment. The overwhelming impression I got was one of incompetence, inefficiency, and that the right had didn't know what the left had was doing. Oh, and it's a half hour wait on the phone to even speak to the right hand. I was a new student, contemplating studying here. But after the way I was dealt with on the phone on my very first interaction, I now have ZERO interest in attending, and will continue my search for a school that has its act together, and knows what they are doing. I have had nothing but Positive Experiences since I have been at Edmonds Community College for the last 4 months now. I am going through the Workfirst Program at the Gateway Bldg. They had me go through the Solid Foundations Course & a College Sucess course. before I started my summer courses of Math, English; Critical Writing, & another 2-credit Write class. All of the Instructors that I have had are amazing, they helped me in every aspect of figuring out what I wanted to take by different surveys & then they help to walk you through getting your all of your Financial Documents in order & get registered for all of my classes over the next 2-years while I am working on my Degree. Your Education has gone elsewhere. Programs last year were changed invalidating most of my credits. Classes they used to offer in Math and Sciences are no longer being offered despite having brand new facilities just built. It is going through a strategic pivot from a transfer and foreign exchange college to a "social improvement" center. Taking part in the cyber security program, I can say that I had a great experience. My advisor (Esther Salem) was experienced and knew exactly what she was doing. From all of my teachers I only have had two which I would not recommend (of which I will not name names). Only thing that I did not enjoy was the lack of clubs that existed for student recreation. During my first year there was an anime club, but it fell apart when the leader graduated. For my last year and a half a few friends and I started the unofficial DnD club which eventually became a official club my last semesterJoseph

I AM NOT A STUDENT. IM A TOURIST I toured this beautiful school yesterday. It was absolutely beautiful. To walk around seeing so much scripture. So many things to inspire young minds and hearts to Christ. I did not get a chance to walk around the entire campus but the places I did see were amazing. My tour guide was Robert Vann. He knew a lot of history and important things about the school. He probably knew the mission statement if I asked him. He took us into the Chapel and had so many great things to say about it. He also said, the school was a safe place for Christians. The professors and staff, knew Jesus. Frfr. They encourage a relationship with Christ. He has never been around so many different ethnicities fully in worship together. It reminded him of Heaven. He saw that we are all the same. The school opened the eyes of his heart to so many different beautiful things about ALL of the people of God. I’m not gone lie, I don’t wanna say that I would ever move back to Virginia. And I do not like school. However, after seeing the school, and hearing the Words of Mr. Vann, it makes me want to consider attending Regent. I could not have chosen a better university to finish my education as well continue with. My professors are very understanding and compassionate because we need that today in the world we live in. Even if you aren't a Christian the respect and just humbleness of all my professors and even peers has been extremely outstanding . I am speechless. I appreciate Rasmussen University for having an abundance of resources and many professors and other staff members who demonstrate they want students to succeed. I especially have enjoyed being a peer educator, being privileged to work with Tammy Hopps who is an excellent supervisor and leader, and also being able to work with other peer educators who care for their peers as much as I do. I transferred from a local state college, which I considered sticking with to save money, but in reality, not much is saved when you compare the timeframe for graduation. At the state college it would take me an extra 2 whole years to receive my BSN, whereas at Rasmussen I save 2 years of time because of their second-degree BSN option. I am very pleased with the quality of technology – at the state school blackboard and other resources were slow and did not work as well on my cell phone, whereas with Rasmussen I can easily access everything I need from my phone when I'm on the go. It's inspiring to see so many single parents and married parents in school, some of which also work full time or part time like myself while completing their degree. I had such high hopes when enrolling at this school. However my experience hasn't been favorable at all. I am a current student and I was disappointed because even though I was able to enroll and start classes I really felt unsupported on this journey. I'm realizing Rasmussen may not be the school for me. I REALLY thought I would be supported and encouraged. I was made to feel that Rasmussen would be rooting for me through my academic journey. Instead I am bombarded with emails and calls telling me what I already know… I owe money. No calls or emails about how I can be helped to budget so that I can pay more toward the balance. I'm only being told: what I owe, to get the balance down to $500-$1000 and to take out loans; which will only put me in debt and it's too early to be taking out loans when I've been in school since September of 2021 and have 2 more years. Also this school doesn't cater to single parents, limited income and individuals that HAVE to work. This morning I called the university for the North Orlando Campus for the Nursing program and spoke to the director of Nursing who was discusstingly rude on the phone. I called to get information, He had no patience and told me Not to proceed a career in Nursing because it was Not for me. I was here for two years after my time at Nova CC. I was with the Schar School of Policy and Government. It was a fantastic experience I wouldn't trade for anything. The professors are all experts in their fields with PhD's. Everyone in my classes were respectful and engaging. For a social life it was average, you have to make your own friends by joining clubs or living in dorms with your door open. Be polite and talk to people. Infrastructure wise there is a huge effort by the university to modernize. With the Peterson Medical building, Nguyen Engineering Building, Fenwick library, exploratory building, and the new Robinson building that is being built in the middle of campus, it's gonna be great. For now the construction may put people off but it will become a great school for students and graduate students alike. 4/5 would do it again. Not really but still.Ameen Karim

The George Mason University is better than I expected going in. Many Norther Virginia High School students don’t really want to go to this school because they think it is not that good and they do not want to stay home. This is a great place to learn especially is you are on a budget. Stay at home and commute, it is a great way to save money while getting a good quality education at a university. This school is great and although there is not much on campus culture, there are many things that make the school amazing. Word of advice: try and transfer out of this ghetto school as soon as possible. It'll save you the headache. TAKE ONLINE CLASSES! That way, you will not have to deal with their crap. The only good thing you'll find about this school is the cheap tuition, some good professors if you can find the right ones. So far, I managed to have good ones. And a few nice students along the way. But the unprofessional, unorganized with the admins, staff, etc is a nightmare. I'm speaking from experience with the financial aid and trying to sign up for classes. They act like they don't know what they're doing. Not to mention, you try to be friendly and they give you attitude like you did something wrong. Plus, the staff and admins are incredibly immature and straight up bullies. When you ask for help, they will act irritated, rude or expect you to it yourself. You know that you are going to be around students all day long, and if that is something you cannot handle or deliver civil professionalism, then why are you working here to begin with? Oh yeah, because they just hire anybody, and just hungry for a paycheck. Oh and also, people just tell you different answers or just straight up lie to you. If I had the choice, I would not spend another semester here for another minute. They really need to do something about this ghetto, unprofessional, unorganized, low class school and hire better admins, staff, etc too. I'll be so glad when I'm able to leave this school because I will not miss it. I'm sticking to my statement that Virginia schools are better. Also, another thing to add is that the advisers do not know how to do their jobs! I hated this college including all staffs, administration and president of this college I had many issues with back when I was attending this college. Yes, I graduated in 2004, made very high grades and achieve my goals, but the President of this college did nothing about my situation. She failed to do her job claiming that she will not bar a student for harassing me. She is very lucky I did not sue her before I graduated. Other people has complained about allowing non-visitors attending to this school for no reason. This brings a major concern about safety. I would advise no one attend to this school. It sure has very poor administration. I do not care what that president said, she is a very poor administrator. I am glad I am moving out of this state and I will be a excellent administrator this president of this college. We need to hire new administrators in this college and make changes in this college and other schools. I wonder why there are so many bad reviews about this school. It's not as bad as I thought or as I read. Yes, I did have a bad impression at first because I was supposed to take four courses, now I'm taking three because of their carelessness. But that's the only problem I've encountered here. Hi everyone! Hope all of you are doing great. In fact, I am one of the expected MBA students planning to join Stratford University very soon as a (full time student). From all what I read so far, it seems to me that the majority of students those have an experience with this academic institution are not happy or satisfied somehow. From my point of view, I strongly believe that if a student (he/she) is planning to join any school, must firstly do some effort to check and ask a little about that specific academic institution whether if it really a good one and fits his needs and ambitions or not. Secondly, try to find and ask the (alumni and staff) who graduated from or worked with this university and their experience in everything (faculty, the heaviness of the academic programs, facilities offered, student services, campuses and any other related information that is important and matters to you). Thirdly, and the most important thing is to check with the university or related authorities and ask about the university if its whether recognized and accredited or currently in the process of accreditation of its academic programs or not accredited at all. Lastly, to be fair with myself and the others I have to check, aske and do more searches about this university and then build a strong healthy infrastructure of information so then I can judge one it fairly. It is been said that “People are the fair reflection mirror to judge on you”! Eventually, I will be very thankful to receive any valuable comments from all those who will read my views and also those who had an experience with this respective university or even new people planning to join as a student or staff. I am an UnderGrad Student in the Glen Allen Campus and I am more than pleased with the Administration and Professors. I am shocked and appalled at some of these negative statements about the school. I can't speak for all Professors or all Campuses but I can say that the ones here in the Glen Allen Campus are AWESOME! I have never went to them with an issue that either they didn't have an immediate solution for me or worked on one until we got it resolved. They have a genuine open-door policy, they work with you to ensure that your academic goals get met. They offer "real world" industry tips and secrets to help you in your particular academic discipline. The professors are well versed in their fields with decades of experience. They challenge you academically as well as on a personal level; they take a vested interest in your success. I just graduated from the International MBA program at Stratford University – Falls Church. I am surprised and shocked that some students are very negative about the university. I am an older student who has enjoyed a 40+ years career in Marketing, Sales, Non-profit Fundraising and as a business owner. So, my expectations were high for the school, professors and curriculum. They challenged me to excel and I met the challenge. The entire school is behind the students. If a student fails, it is because they did not make an effort to succeed. I worked hard and it paid off. If you are looking for someone to hold your hand and give you a degree, then you are going to the wrong school. If you wish to learn and excel in your chosen field then you should do well. I'd be very wary with this school. They don't pay the teachers for their full work. Instead ONLY pay them for the time they're with students and none of the prep. I don't know how this is legal, but it's robbing the students of an adequate education, and exploiting the teachers hard work. High turn over rate. The place is poorly run and managed. First off everyone is talking through the ceremony, the sound system horrible, and awful old school auditorium. How disrespectful to the students to provide such a venue. I went to the Nursing program here after being CNA for several years, attending the program and getting licensed was the best decision I have ever made. The professors and instructors were very supportive. I applied here and got in but communicating with my admissions counselor was very difficult. I asked her several times about financial aid and if I would receive any. When I DID get a hold of her she just told me that she's been very busy and to call back later. Which I did, she did not answer, and instead of answering my question she left me and my high school counselor a voice mail asking us to call her once again later. While the food was descent, the service was so so. Once the cashier finally paid attention to us and we were able to order, she was very friendly. I graduated with my lpn at standard college in august 2015, and im now working on my RN at standard. The instructors have a lot of nursing experience and give you great nursing knowledge you will use on the nclex and while at work. The instructors and administration are very willing to help students and often provide extra tutoring IF YOU ASK for it. The curiculem is VERY challanging. standard college is for students who are focused, hardworking, and motivated to study study and study. If you want to build a knowledge base that will help to make you an excellent nurse then standard is for you. The cirriculem is challenging but you are told that at orientation and at the admissions interview many times. The school is serious about graduating educated nurses who will go into the career and keep patients safe. 80% is needed to pass each class. Its challenging but IT CAN BE DONE! You just have to apply yourself and study! Simple.Amie S.

I was referred to Standard College by a friend who graduated from the program and spoke very highly of the school. My experience in the nursing program thus far has been very positive (about to graduate). They provide lots of support to the students, including small group tutoring which is very helpful. You do need an 80% to pass the program, but this is made very clear during orientation. With all the resources and additional support that is provided, I am having no problem maintaining above 85% in each course.Shebna Jackson

Standard College is a great Nursing school, the instructor’s are always ready to go an extra mile to make sure you get the concept. Did my LPN from there and planning to go back my my RN as well and reason is am confident about being well prepared for NCLEX and the the workplace itself. This review is for the phlebotomy course at NMC, NMC's teaching, and my clinical experience. The course is broken up into 2 weeks in the classroom and 3 weeks in clinical rotation. I rate the classroom teaching as exemplary. Professor Di Lorenzo is passionate about what she teaches and very knowledgeable about phlebotomy and lab work, as she is an industry veteran. One would think that as a NMC student, being sent to Methodist Hospital for clinical rotation would be a good match, as the hospital and school are linked (students are sent to non-Methodist sites as well). There was no organized training program or trainer, thus no consistency. We were assigned daily to phlebotomists that were working the floor on that day. Overall I trained with at least 8-10 people. There were only 2 people I worked with where I sensed he/she trusted me, had patience, and was willing to demonstrate skills and answer questions, and treat me with general respect. Otherwise, I dealt with poor attitude, at times being abandoned by the trainer (where did they go?), and a general lack of interest in training and responsibilities that go along with it. The person promoted to the training coordinator position towards the end of our clinical rotation is a good phlebotomist. However unfortunately I wouldn't be surprised if this person's severe demeanor puts potential new employees off. During the time I spend with this person, I sensed I was being brow-beaten. I didn't feel welcome at Methodist Hospital as a student, and sensed the students were a burden to be dealt with. As a non-employee, one could also sense the malcontent between employees and management. Said management seemed to take very little interest in our training (i.e. asking how training was going, what our overall goals are, asking how did we did in classroom training, etc.). NMC is a great and reputable college and has a great teaching staff. The clinical portion, which is a large portion of the course, was a disappointment.Omaha Phlebstudent

The most terrible school I have ever been to. Both the main campus and the Community college are the same. A lot of slow, unprofessional, and rude staff who keep yelling at students when they are not even doing their jobs properly. I submitted a certain paper to the Financial Aid office and they told me they lost the paper after weeks that I had to pay about $1700 out of pocket. During the 2020 Pandemic, I tried to contact them as I was having difficulty to waive the Student Insurance that is provided through the school because I already had an insurance coverage; no one answered my call until it was due. And now Miss Gaskon told me that I have to pay about $1300 for the coverage I never needed. Mis Gascon was there in 2018/19 when I had the same issue; she helped me waive it then. I could not go to her office in 2020 be a of Covid restrictions. I tried to solve the issue communicating with them but nothing got better yet. I would not recommend anyone to go the UDC unless one needs a headache. I cannot deny that there are some great Professors such as Prof. Sonnie Abebaku. However, individuals are very helpful to us, it’s overall experience at the university that makes a difference in our academic lives. So far, my overall experience is just TERRIBLE!Henok D

Worst administration I have ever had to deal with. Not only do they never respond to email or phone calls, they can't even keep track of ELECTRONIC applications, that required my daughter to submit 3 times and be forced enrolled late into classes due to their incompetence. But they also can't even have the literacy to read the applications correctly to charge the correct rate to students. They went ahead to charge not only my daughter but several other students out-of-state resident rates when all their applications illustrated DC residents. Like how can you not even read what's on the applications! How many other students were charged nearly 3 times when they should have been charged as a DC residents scares me on the level of corruption and neglect this body demonstrates to it's it's attendees.0 Then to not even have the decency and competence to even respond to emails and calls to try to correct this is just completely absurd, no wonder UDC is a laughing stock of a school to attend they can't even serve as a place to get extra credits for actual schools. How neglectful can you be to students and applicants, like seriously!Edgar E

Okay So I applied about 3weeks to a month ago and I’ve yet to receive any papers informing me if I was missing any documents or etc. I’ve called at least 5 times a day for about two weeks straight leaving voicemail after voicemail and no one has yet to return my call not only did I call multiple times I have also emailed them multiple and no response. It’s ridiculous what’s the point of having an admissions office if they not even going to pick up the phone, guide you in the process of being admitted or anything else like you guys get paid to do nothing it’s sad.Jamilya Allen

Thrive Healthcare Academy is an incredible CNA program. The class was very informative, and it helped me feel confident with my CNA skills and knowledge. The instructors, Eileen and Becky, made the classroom environment enjoyable to be in, helping to foster positive relationships between the students in the program. They were both very approachable and were willing to answer any questions we had. Overall, I had a great experience with this program, and I highly recommend it to anybody who wants to become a certified nursing assistant.Isabella DeCarlo

I went to the June 20-July 22 course and I absolutely loved my time there. The teachers-Eileen and Becky- work really hard to make the online portion engaging and make the in-person portion just as fun. Both of them worked through incredible circumstances and still managed to make the course informative and fun. The work environment was great, and I never felt uncomfortable asking questions or corrections. They are very supportive and want you to do well. Second, the learning experience in general was great. Clinicals, specifically will be something you never forget. The school has motivated me to become my best self. The teachers and staff are so wonderful and helpful, the programs offer a variety of career paths, and i wouldn't go to any other school. 12/26/21 UPDATE Needed to come on the record and say that my original 5 star review is only because the teachers tell you to write a 5 star review in exchange for a good grade, credit, or extra points on an exam. Don't believe all the good reviews on here. I graduated April 2020 from the Medical Assistant program and have yet to receive a certificate of completion despite multiple attempts to contact the registrar. There should be no reason for them to withhold my diploma as they already received all my completion documentation AND i qualified for FAFSA so they already received all the money from my student loan servicer. Career Technical Institute is a fraudulentand needs to be closed down.This business targets low- income residents because CTI know's that some of us low-income residents don't understand student loans and how it can play a part in not getting a job or leasing an apartment, etcetera. Also students don't have knowledge that a student loan stays on their credit report. This school cares about money only. Career Technical Institute combined my grant and student loan. I was told that I was going to get help in getting a job which never happened. I never received my diploma because I couldn't pay my loan off. Sadly, I can't give 0 stars to Career Technical Institute. Career Technical Institute is not acreddited with the Better Business Bureau (BBB).Jamelia

I think these different reviews are confusing. But I think I know what the issue is. Some reviews are based on Hospitality and some are base on IT. I can tell you right now if you're dealing with IT, this is the absolute worst place to go to start a career. It's just really a waste of time and money. Even if you have to pay more money you may as well go to a real accredited institution and I can tell you without a doubt this is not one. They focus and take advantage of mostly low income African American students misleading them about finances and what they will be able to gain from the courses. It's a scam, I'm keeping my ear to the wind for charges to be brought up against them sooner or later.Kenneth Smith

I attended this school for their nursing program in 2016 and I'm giving 4\5 stars for my personal experience. Most of the instructors were really great. They really cared about teaching us and made sure that we left understanding what was taught that day. Of course, there was a few instructors where we had to teach ourselves but I feel like you will get that with any school you go to. Another pro I'd like to add is that they give you TONS of resources to study and learn because they really don't want you to fail. I felt like this school gave everyone a fair chance to pass, but I also felt like some of the students shouldn't have been allowed to stay; they are almost too forgiving with their students. Another piece of advice I'd like to add is DO NOT TAKE YOUR PREREQUISITES AT THIS SCHOOL. IT IS COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT ACCREDITED AND YOU WILL HAVE TO RETAKE THEM WHEN YOU WANT TO GET YOUR BSN. The credits will not transfer unless their accreditation changes.Amber Morris

Don't waste your time and money. Had my legs waxed – girl NEVER pulled skin taunt (this is waxing 101) – two hours of torture. The wax was far from HOT enough – there was a big clump of wax in the jar she worked from. Hair was just broken off so it was all back a week later. I paid $85.00 for the privilege!!!! Went back to have other work done and because I was seven minutes late (45 minute drive in and hit every red light) they refused to treat me……….. NOT professional – do NOT know what they are doing!!! I tried to resolve this with management – no return call from a Miss Helen! Plus I thought about calling the Health Department since the receptionist had skin hanging from her face both appointments. She had a peel done – which is fine but why not have it done on Thursday afternoon so that when the skin starts shedding everywhere (including on the items she hands you) she can be home for the weekend. I recommend the RN program 100%. Great school and knowledgeable instructors. Took my NCLEX within 3weeks of graduating and passed! They definitely prepare you to be a successful nurse. Words of advice based on my experience here: The RN program is VERY FAST PACED. Please do not think you will succeed in the program while working full time or even part time work depending on your type of work or depending on what you can handle academically. Other parts of your life will likely suffer as well…family, personal and health. Lastly, this is an expensive program. So if you don’t have the time to dedicate, you will end up wasting your time and money. However, in the end, it’s so worth it! You will be in and out so quickly, you won’t realize what hit you until you have graduated. But again, so worth it!! Go for it! You can do it! Dedicate time, put some luxury on hold and stay on course, it’s possible!!Bb Nov

I just finished my CNA class at Knowledge First Institute. It was an amazing experience. The teacher is very knowledge both in class and clinical. The front desk person is awesome. Got a call from the Admissions Rep and she basically told me all the reasons why I should NOT go to this school! If you have a Bachelor’s degree already…their transfer credit policy is crazy! It’s not for seasoned professionals looking to do a career change into nursing! If your degree is older than 10 years – it’s worthless to them and you will be asked to do EVERYTHING from scratch!! Yes, everything – even your general electives! Who does that?? Save yourself time and frustration……I recommend just going somewhere else…M Henderson
