I took an introduction to welding class for fun and to improve my skill set. The staff for the class are extremely knowledgeable and approachable. I learned a lot more than I ever expected in the classroom portion. I would have liked a little more shop time but the staff is there from early morning for the full-time students until after our class ended (between 8-9pm) so You can’t expect much more from them in that regard. Excellent facilities. It’s definitely worth the investment of only a couple hundred bucks.W Scott

I had a great tour of Dixie Tech and it’s new buildings, it was surprising to me how nice they were given their location. Their service was exceptional, the front desk was very helpful and my recruiter Dillon Hurt was great about filling me in on everything Dixie Tech has to offer. I attended this institution and it was the first time I felt like paying for education was actually “education”. The learning signature at Ensign College is amazing, it’s not “engaged” learning, it’s immersive learning. They actually prepare you with soft skills and real world experience and problem solving abilities that make you an asset day one on any new job. President Kusch (the president of Ensign College) is a Master at this learning signature and has a Ted-Talk on how school should be like the world field, a place where you actually are prepared to deliver value immediately. The spirit is amazing at Ensign College because the culture is one of kindness and love but also high expectations and accountability. There’s a natural feeling of “I want to become someone better” when you walk into the doors of the building. I always tell everyone that it’s the first time in 4 years of college I felt I didn’t waste a penny on tuition because of the value I got. I came to Utah as an 18 year old knowing nothing about what I wanted to do with my adult life. Most of my college career I knew Ensign as LDSBC, this is my last semester at the college. I have had the chance to grow spiritually, and mentally. The price is unbeatable from anywhere else, I have loans of about $20k while many of my friends at the U are $50-70k behind in loans from their bachelors degrees which proves that Ensign is a great price. I did a paralegal studies certificate and found that I will be able to make significantly more than my peers at the U at my first college graduate job. While I will not be working as a paralegal, (I’ll be working at a small business instead), I have my degree to fall back on if I lose my job in the future. Great Cybersecurity and CS classes, taught by professionals in the field with real experience. I went from being laid off from my construction job to landing a Java developer position within a little over a year – teachers like Jeff Light provide an environment where a lot is expected but a lot is provided as well. The school its self is also great. you can tell it's been newly renovated, with fancy shmancy checkouts in the outpost (cafe on the first floor), useful two floor library with private study rooms, and a really friendly school culture. not to mention having trax right next door gives quick access to the gateway and city creek for lunch / dinner. Does anyone get the feeling that many of these 5 star reviews are ingenuine? I attended Provo College for 2 semesters in 2011. I believe at the time they only offered an Associates for nursing, not a BSN. The tuition was very expensive, but they sit you down 1 on 1 with someone who gets you started on loans. At the time it seemed great that they were so helpful, but l later realized it was benefitting them more than me…which is why they make that part of the process so easy for students. I ended up leaving because the financial aid ended after 2 semesters and I didn't want $60k of debt for a 2 year nursing degree. The other thing that I didn't like was even though I was paying them insane tuition, they would have us come to a classroom for remote learning from Utah State University. This means you might take a math course from them and pay 3 grand, or however much it costs for one class, but you are basically doing it online/remote through USU…but you're paying way more than if you just went to USU. I later went to UVU and was able to compare the anatomy course I did at PC versus what students said it was like at UVU, and the course at UVU held students to a much higher standard. After a short personal experience at this college, and the ability to compare it to the other colleges I've attended, I wouldn't recommend it.Derek Drennan

I am about to finish my first year of nursing school. I have really enjoyed my experience here at Provo College. One of the the many things that I like about this program is the faculty. The faculty really gets to know you and you aren't just another number in the classroom. Each of them know me personally and even call me by my nickname. The faculty really wants you to succeed in the program. Tudors are made available to you if you are having problems in a course at no extra cost to you. Currently as a nursing program we are working on a service project, where we are making blankets for a local pediatrics unit. This is a great program that I would highly recommend! Provo College is such a great school!! The faculty, staff, and program administrators are totally invested in the students. I felt a genuine sense of caring from everyone there the first time I visited the campus- even the campus president took time to introduce himself and get to know me a little. The nursing program is amazing – all of my friends in the program had great internships, passed the NCLEX test the first time and have found fantastic jobs they love. The other programs are amazing also. I can't say enough good about this school!!!Staci

Went from IT bro to IT pro I got the Information Technology certificate from here earlier this year and it definitely pointed me in the right direction and gave me motivation and a space to get industry certs as well. It was hard to go in and do your work sometimes because life's life but the instructors were really understanding and good at helping you succeed here to finish the program, Trent and Miles were especially helpful and good resources for me. If you're trying to land your first IT job this is the program to do especially if you do the Comptia cert. test prep courses along the way and pass a couple of those. I wouldn't say this is the only schooling you need to go far in IT but it's a great start and has opened a lot of doors for me. I was able to get an IT job right after I passed the A+ test here while still doing the Bridgerland program and have had no issue finding an IT job since then. However if you want to be paid what you're worth after you finish the program moving out of Logan is key lol. I feel like some people get discouraged in the thick of it because it's A LOT of videos and information to take in, but if you're motivated and can learn to stay awake and pump it out it's well worth the time/energy/money investment. The only negative thing I have to say is I wish they put a greater emphasis on AWS and Azure. Both are heavily used in almost every company today and I knew very little about them when I entered the real world. Microsoft has a lot of smaller certs that you can put together to form a bigger Microsoft cert and it would be cool if in the required courses you had to do one or two of those to push you to get a higher level Microsoft cert, and maybe learn a bit about cloud computing along the way.Grey Christensen

Hypocrisy is very prominent within the Interior Design course at Bridgerland. The instructors expect perfection. It says that on the rubric of multiple assignments. I wouldn’t have a problem with this if they could display perfection themselves. I have found mistakes that I had to bring to their attention so they could correct it. Their response was: “It looks like the assignment was not updated.” Obviously this was just a simple mistake, but DON'T EXPECT PERFECTION IF YOU CAN'T BE PERFECT YOURSELF. Their policy with their dress code is another instance of hypocrisy. They have a strict business casual, which makes sense. As an interior designer, I believe you should be dressed nice. “Plan on wearing clothing you would wear to an interview.” are the words an instructor told me. So I came to class in my business casual attire and multiple instructors were wearing pants with holes in them. Seems extremely hypocritical to me. This is just the beginning of the issues I saw with this course, but to wrap it up, there are a considerable number of flaws in this course. The Interior Design program at Bridgerland was not worth it for me and does not seem like quality education.tessa s

I like Bridgerland Technical College but the Interior Design Department definitely needs a facelift. I don't want to say I learned nothing in this program but I felt like I accomplished coursework and there were new ones that I know I didn't see there before. I made aware of the situation and the instructor said it was "optional" but I didn't know that later on it would be applicable in later coursework. I'd also like to add that the instructor might not know all the computer programs that she is "teaching" in this department. They programs head instructor is a great interior designer but does not know how to implicate the techniques to the program. It's not far that I and other people in that program have to be led down a rabbit whole of never ending coursework and having to repay money to worthless projects and programs that we learn nothing from. UBTech's PN program, right now, fosters a horrendous learning environment, will treat you like a number, and will not provide any encouragement. NEPOTISM IS HIGH. The program is rated highly amongst PN programs only because of the multi-million dollar lab that is held there, NOT BECAUSE OF THE EDUCATORS/STAFF. Worst college I've ever tried attending. Tried for the Desiel Mechanic class, took the required testing, never got a call from Student Services about the class. Then looked up the class online and seen that it was from 12pm-6pm. I wouldn't call this a college. More of a glorified high school. Very unprofessional. Don't offer classes for adults with adult schedules, just offer it for high students with high school schedules. I would give this college no stars if I could.Angela Cox

Culinary Arts is probably the coolest class I've taken. All the classes I've taken here are satisfactory. The only class I'm not particularly fond of is probably Intro to I.T. but even then, it's still a learning experience.Remo Hunt

I've been an instructor at the Salt Lake campus for over 5 years; it has been fun, challenging, and rewarding. The nursing and dental hygiene programs are difficult (whose programs aren't?), but the pass rates for both programs are exceptional. The HVAC program is outstanding, and the director of that program is well connected and extremely informative. In all programs, many of the instructors have been there for several years. The students who focus their efforts…do well. But many students come into the program thinking that it's going to be a piece a cake and it really isn't. There will be countless hours of studying, and homework. And some of the students who fail out of the program blame the school for that, when in reality they either weren't prepared for the amount of work or just couldn't pass. I've watched hundreds of students graduate over the years and get jobs for 2-4 times what they made before they enrolled, and it is life changing money for them. Fortis College is a good school, and yes, it is expensive, but it's a better option than waiting five years on a waiting list to get into a less expensive school. The overall length of the programs are also much shorter, and this allows the graduate to begin working much faster than a traditional college or university.M Stone

Fortis College has a lot of great career choices! It's bitter sweet this is last module, I'll miss all the amazing instructors, who have helped me more than ever! Staff is literally so helpful and friendly, they do an awesome job of making everyone feel so welcome. I'm a very hands on learner and that is one of the reasons why I wanted to come to Fortis, almost everyday lab time, private tutoring available if needed. I love how much I've learned in just this short amount of time, I feel more than ready to get out into my field and pursue my career in Dental Assisting. Class sizes are extremely nice, everyone gets there own one on one time with instructors, hours of classes are offered to best fit with your schedule, campus is open from 7am-9pm. Perfect for working around other priorities. Coming to Fortis gave me a whole other outlook on college, starting from what career I might be interested in, to financial aid, to graduating in march. I attended the nursing program at Fortis College. This program was not only the hardest thing I have ever done but also the most rewarding. I am a single mom of three kids and going back to school was scary! Once I made the decision to do this I knew there was no looking back. The instructors are so supportive, the classes are small and if you need one on one time to understand a specific principle then this school is a great match for you. I spent countless hours after class studying with instructors. The staff are all incredible. I'm not saying this school is perfect but no school is. What I am saying is if your determined and have a strong desire to succeed in life then this is a great program. I received a job offer for my dream job in the ER with a month of graduation and can honestly say the sacrifices made for two years are so worth it. I just started my first semester of school and I will update to keep my review true to the stars I give. I never finished college when I was supposed to, 20 years ago, so now I’m back! It was hard looking for schools that would take me and my grades. There aren’t too many nursing schools in the Vegas Valley but I talked to a lot of them. They told me I would have to retake my classes, and/or take more classes before they would even let me in. I figured it would be an extra 1-3 years before I even got into their programs and I didn’t know what to take first and in which order to take them. Everything was so confusing! So I am glad that AZ accepted me in (with my HS GPA). Bruce was amazing and he made things easy in bringing me into the college! Ask for him if you’re interested in applying here. It’s a fairly new college to the Las Vegas area. The staff seem to like each other, laugh with each other and enjoy what they do. I love that. Who wants to go to school and learn from staff that hate what they do. Although for the first part of Nursing School we are in actual class for 2 or 3 days a week, it is a FULL time course. In orientation I heard people saying that they were going to work full time. I also heard that by the time you get to the Core classes, there aren’t as many students left. AZ has a high expectation where you have to get at least a B average in certain classes to get into Core. So I don’t believe that trying to go to an accelerated course like this, although “2-3 days a week” and working will work, thus the reason why people don’t make it into Core. You’ve got to put in 100% of yourself in studies. Also there are 2 ways Colleges and University’s get accredited. They are either regionally accredited or nationally accredited. So do your research before choosing a college. I chose this school because I don’t plan to move anywhere in the next 3 years. I want to stay in this school and I don’t plan to transfer out. As for the finance part of it, my military benefit of Post 9/11 covers the entire 3 years. I also applied for FASFA and I’m receiving an amount from them. It makes it so much easier to just concentrate on school!Flordeliza Sia

Arizona College Of Nursing would be best described as a school that only cares about getting money from students. Alex Chang is an advisor who will probably only contact you when it’s good for him, which is probably 20% of the time. Catherine Chege seems like a chicken with her head cut off running around never knowing any correct information talking 1000 mph while giving you the incorrect information and not really caring about anything besides herself. This school has not only wasted my time but wasted my money, with endless lies and promises that at the last minute were taken away. Don’t think this is just a disgruntled student who couldn’t pass, I currently have a 4.0 I was promised to be able to start at a certain date and as the date approached, was told that I would have to wait a year to start my classes, like that was some gift from them to me. So condescending and disrespectful when I have been working myself to DEATH trying to get everything done so I could start core. As if anyone even cared. And to top that off I was told directly by Catherine that at least I only wasted a little bit of time. Yes a little bit of time, three semesters $3000 and taking classes only for this specific program. That sure sounds like just a little bit of time doesn’t it? My so-called advisor never even bothered to reach back out to me because well why would he if they weren’t going to get my money. I would advise before thinking about this school, honestly just teach yourself to be a nurse before You even ever apply— you would probably get much further. They are t worried about supporting nurses they just need to make sure you can afford that $717/ credit hr. Unless you want to waste your time money and mental health go anywhere else but here. I guess they thought ignoring me would make the situation go away but I’ll be letting everyone know EXACTLY how this school operates until I can’t find anymore review sites. If you don’t want to respond to me professionally, then I’ll just allow everyone to know the details of personally. Don’t bother contacting me now either, it’s too late. Arizonas staff members and professors show their genuine role in leading a way for their students success and makes it known that they genuinely care for their students. Quiet campus with small classes. Classes are in-person, interactive broadcast(awesome to interact with other USU sites), and online. Most of my professors so far are great. The tutors are really helpful. Academic advising here is good for General's and breadth requirements. But if you're going for a certain major, then setting phone call appointments with a USU Logan advisor is your best bet. The campus activities are fun, though not a lot of people show up to them. I absolutely love my school! I transferred from Ameritech because it wasn’t the greatest for me and Arizona college could not be more of a blessing in my life! The teachers really care about you and the staff is always always so kind and there to help. On top of that the faculty goes the extra mile decorating and celebrating every Holliday! I love love my school!!! 10/10 recommend!!! The financial aid are clear about costs and so on top of communication! There are no hidden fees which i struggled with at my old school. Following my spine surgery, I needed a lot of home help, especially for personal hygiene, since I did not want to leave the hospital for a rehab facility. Several people mentioned BrightStar to arrange home health aides, and they set up the service almost immediately, and then accommodated a delay when I suddenly had to have a second surgery. Every home health aide I have had from BrightStar for the past two months has been wonderful, and Silvia M. has been outstanding in her professionalism, cheerful spirit, willingness to help with anything needed, and competence. She has become a friend as well as a caregiver. I have been going to this school for more than 2 years now, I will be done with BACHELORS (YAY) next year! It goes by fast! This school has given me so much to be proud of! They have mapped up my every class, clinical, and lab! They are available always when I need help! The instructors are always available to help when you need them and want you to succeed! AZC has some of the best passing rates on the NCLEX because of the way they create their tests here at school is very similar to the NCLEX test itself. Some say that this school doesn't really let you work or have outside life, and that is true. Before you sign up make sure this is your first priority, it is not easy. If you fail a class you have one chance to re-take it and pass it. If you do not, you are out of the school. Failing must not be an option. You have to get at least 77% accumulative on the exams or you fail. There is one nursing math test that requires a 100% or you fail, you have 3 times to take that. With that being said, I have never failed. If you put in the time, the work, ask for help when you need it, the teachers and staff will be here. I am very excited for my future because of this school and have a lot of friends beside me excited as well!Deena Binder

Love this school (Tempe, AZ)! Yes it’s expensive, but it will be worth it. The admissions part was very smooth sailing. The professors here are amazing. The environment is awesome. This school will help you get to where you want to be. If you are having a hard time in any class, there are professors and counselors that will help you. They want to see you succeed. I feel like when I previously went to a community college, all they cared about was if you had a 4.0 or not. Keep in mind in most classes, you do need at least a B in every class to pass, but this school will help you in every way to make that happen. Nursing school is not whatsoever “easy”. It is hard. It like a full time job and it will take up your time. But keep-in mind we are going to be nurses one day, helping save lives. It’s supposed to be hard and difficult. Trust me, if I can do it, you can too!! Highly highly recommend this school. When it comes to the financial aid part, I just wish there were better financial advisors. After attending Arizona College of Las Vegas for about year. I can honestly say the professors do their best to teach especially during the circumstances of Covid. However, I have since then moved out of state and they will not release me my transcripts. It came down to them not doing their job and submitting the forms I signed for financial aid to the government to cover the 2,000 dollars from my last session before I moved. All they had to do was submit the forms on time before the semester ended…Due to this, they are now saying I owe them at least HALF the money before they will even release my transcripts. They are putting my future in jeopardy due to their incompetence. Just beware before attending this school. Don’t say someone didn’t warn you.Julia Cox

I recommend this school to anyone wanting their CNA license! I took the class August 2021 when the class was still online due to COVID therefore it was self paced. Linda was my instructor from orientation to skills training and if you are given the opportunity to learn from her, I recommend you take the class. I was skeptical at first because Linda is 100% blind and I was worried I was not going to learn as effectively as I should but to my surprise, she was the best instructor I have ever learned from!! She knew the material so well that you would have thought she wrote the material. She spoke verbatim to the book and material and gave her own personal history and knowledge for additional learning. She is very hands on and will show you step by step how to preform each task asked of a CNA. She not only teaches the material, but wants to make sure you learn the material and understand the material. Due to her extensive knowledge in the medical field, she is the best instructor anyone could ask for. Make sure you request Linda because you will 100% love her and learn from her. I hope I'm given the opportunity to continue to learn from her in my medical career.Amber Simmons

The CNA online portion was not my favorite, but it did allow flexibility in my schedule since it was on my own. My skills session was ABSOLUTELY fabulous!! My teacher, Linda Oldham was subbing in since the original teacher was out of town. She did a fabulous job at getting me the knowledge I needed for my state exam. I feel prepared to take my state exams and I’m confident that if I need anything, I can reach out to my instructor for help or advice where it is needed. 10/10 recommend this class!Megan Standing

From Jose who helped me figure out a few things like reapplying after missing orientation due to working full time and planning a wedding; to my teachers ( Mrs. Sherie Carter and Ms. Megan Scothorne). Our family was very impressed by the compassionate, kind and diligent care that the management and staff of the life care center provided our mother and grandmother during her stay at the Life Care Center of Salt Lake City. Our mother was there for 6 month and never did we have a complaint about the care she was given. Due to her progressive dementia she could be very difficult and accusatory to staff but management and staff always treated her with the utmost respect and compassion. Management would take time to listen to her every concern and always responded with a hug and a pat on her hand to calm and reassure her that everything would be taken care of. The dietary staff took special note of her love for cheese and made sure daily she had cheese cubes and cottage cheese available for her. Food was one of her favorite things and she constantly told us how gourmet the food was at the Life Care Center. The laundry staff followed her every request on the care of her clothing even ironing her blouses which was above and beyond what they needed to do. The nurses were so amazing that even when family wasn’t there and we had concerns the nursing staff would drop what they were doing and go in to check on her. They would then return my call to keep me informed and involved of what was going on. During her last days it was difficult for family and the staff accommodated our every need as we sat with her. Even after her passing the staff offered to help move her belongings to family member’s vehicles. We will forever be grateful to the staff of the Life Care Center for the loving and compassionate care they provided our mother and grandmother. Brandy HarrisAlan Harris

Don't bring your loved ones here if you care about their quality of life. I am so livid with the level of neglect by the staff here and how they treated my beloved grandmother. The one instance that stands out to me most clearly, one night I was visiting late (around 9pm) and as I was leaving, I asked the CNA on duty if she could please go help my grandmother change into her pajamas and get into bed. She said she would be right in. When I returned early the following morning, I discovered my grandmother was still wearing the same clothing she had on the night before – even her shoes were still on! And she was laying on top of the covers with only a throw over her to keep her warm. Furthermore, she was on a strict renal diet due to kidney failure, but Life Care Center does not accommodate that apparently. Everyone just gets whatever they're serving that day regardless of dietary needs, and they fed her a lot of foods she was not supposed to be eating. Another time, I overheard one of the staff members refer to my grandmother as "What's-Her-Face in room 203." Let's just say I've spent a lot of time in my life visiting loved ones in assisted living facilities, and I have never been more dissatisfied with the quality of care as I have been with this place. I wish there was more I could do about it.j

My mother was admitted to Life Care for rehab due to a broken femur. She was there for approximately 2 weeks. Our experience there was very positive. My mother also has Alzheimers Disease and was confused as to where she was. The staff was very patient and took care of her and adjusted as best they could for the additional complications resulting in Alzheimers. All care facilities including hospitals are short staffed particularly after Covid. We were appreciative of the great care she received. There are negative reviews of this center and everyone's experiences vary but my mother flourished in this place from the rehab to all the activities provided. For the most part, the staff knew her name, they made accommodations for her like leaving her food tray because it takes so long for her to eat and changing her food prep because difficulty in chewing. I am part of a hospice team who recently worked with one of the patients at City Creek Post Acute Nursing and Rehab. I was impressed by the combined experience of their nurses and aides. City Creek is an older facility, but it is very clean and organized. It has been recently updated and remodeled giving it a refreshed look. It is located in the heart of downtown and they provide many activities. I think they have more access to performers and talented volunteers due to their location near the University of Utah and many other artists. While I have been there in the last week I have seen them having musical performers, bingo and tea social hour for the residents. The rehab team also was actively engaging patients in their exercises and therapy. The City Creek Team is packed with an optimistic group of professionals. This is having a positive affect on the long term residents and also for those receiving rehab.Amy Muller

Most awful place to leave your loved one. They will "misplace" important and very expensive meds and discontinue others without consulting family or even a neurologist. My sister ended up with many seizures and back to the hospital neurology unit because of these 2 medication mishaps. Most aids are nice and helpful but some are combative and others treat their adult patients like babies. Very off putting. Administration is also very clueless. Getting a response from medical records is impossible. Been leaving messages for a copy of the vaccination records for weeks now.Starla Collard

I have never written a negative review in my life. But I feel compelled to here.the food was pretty good. The staff was friendly in general (besides 1 or 2). They were either understaffed or the staff didn't have the experience or common sense to do necessary care. Even after I spoke to the director of nursing & she apologized, nothing really changed. Either she didn't make sure instructions were passed down properly or they the night nurse simply ignored them. There seems to be a systematic problem. Are you thinking of enrolling in Pharmacy school? Well unless you have some compelling connections it is not worth it at all. Do not fall into the trap this school sets by making it sound like they have a high placement rate and that pharmacists make large sums of money. Here is the unfiltered truth. Pharmacy as a profession is suffering and private schools such as Roseman are responsible for the state it is in, by flooding the market. Private schools are willing to accept anyone into their programs in order to keep their doors open year after year. Their tuition continues to rise, and pharmacist pay continues to decrease as jobs become scarce. It is supply and demand, there are more people willing to work than positions available, and businesses capitalize on new grads that work for less, with little to no benefits. If you are someone with connections it is almost a guarantee that you will have to move to the middle of nowhere in order to get a part time job. The school will brag that almost every student has a job when they graduate. What they won’t tell you is that most students that have a job are going to be with CVS working 24 hours a week in a stressful work environment, with no benefits package, and likely over 200k in student loans you will slave to work off. This is not a six-figure job with a 401k and the choice to move anywhere that has a pharmacy. It is cut throat and as the years go on more and more people are going to be crushed by debt and no real career to speak of. Pharmacy used to be a career where only the best got in. 82.7% of pharmacy school applicants are accepted into pharmacy school now (Unable to put URL on google reviews). If you can get a loan now, you are in. This speaks volumes about the state of pharmacy, and how private colleges are negatively impacting not only the job market, and the pharmacy career, but also people’s futures. Roseman and private colleges like it are selling people on a positive future that is simply not there. If schools like this had any respect for people and for our evolving career, they would lower classroom sizes and decrease staff in order to match the job market. Due to the high volume of desperate employees many pharmacy chains are willing to push pharmacists to an unhealthy extreme in the work place, because if the person decides they cannot handle it, or demands more technician help, they can either quit or be fired, then the next hungry for work employee will step in and take the abuse until they are burned out too. If your only endgame is pharmacy, then don’t be surprised when the only options that are available are in some rural towns in Alaska and the border between Mexico and Texas, where you can battle new grads for working hours and reduced salaries. For the rest of the people looking for a rewarding, lucrative career. Check elsewhere because pharmacy has been milked dry.Connor Mathison

Having a BSN AND MS IN NURSING I WENT TO THE DENTAL CLINIC. Stay away. There is minimal guide credit and it is like they are all on their first day. I have been in the dental field my whole like. These students would ask about my friend who would come with me. The majority of the people who laughed at me and were in a niche where the students from the Philippines. I saw this in nursing too. They tend to be in groups, talk their language so others have the patients have no idea what they are saying Just like my experience the dental area the Filipino students have horrible dental chair skills. I could go on and on, but I would stay away from Roseman dental clinic where they make it sound like experienced dentists are doing the work or are right by the chair where the work is being done.. It is cheap but a total joke. Please try other places. Even if you are in the dental program , I was with them and they did horrible things to my mouth. They say you get what you pay for. The Filipinos female and male who worked on my a lot were always asking who is this guy who comes with you? Is he married….. It was repulsive. They never asked me how things went after my last treatments. Most of the dentists either retired or watching over the students that worked on me would walk over then leave and I would never see them that visit again. They did not care what kind of work the students were performing on me.KoolerTrek

For the last 3 days I've been experiencing pain in my rear molars and gums so I decided to visit the Roseman campus in South Jordan. I was seen within 15 minutes even as a walk in with no appointment, more than likely that was the luck of the draw but never the less a great surprise. They were able to take 3 separate x-rays and give me a diagnosis all for only $55.00. Their diagnosis, explanation and recommendations were very clear and precise. I went in there wanting a diagnosis with possible remedies and that's what I got. I'm very happy to have heard of Roseman and will no doubt return when needed, as a matter of fact at these prices I might just make a standing every 6 month appointment. My mother is in this facility right now for Rehabilitation after hip surgery. 1. Although the facility is beautiful and the gym very well-equipped, the level of service has been fairly mediocre. She would push her button and sometime wait 30-45 minutes for anyone to respond, which was particularly bad when she was first recovering from the surgery and unable to move herself. This resulted in her urinating herself multiple times in the first few days after surgery. Some of the staff were good, but others did not seem to care at all. 2. She was admitted with authorization for 20 days of rehabilitation, but then the facility did not wait for her post-operative appointment, prior to submitting authorization requests to insurance. So, this resulted in premature denial by insurance, so now she is being discharged today after only 14 days, because they did not do their job with actually submitting paperwork when the they were supposed to do so. Overall, I would not recommend this place for rehabilitation shortly after major surgery, as the level of care needed requires more staffing than they currently have. The most important thing in rehabilitation, with severe pain after hip surgery, is having adequate staffing in place, and this place does NOT have this. It was also notable that the beds did not have bars overhead allowing one to pull oneself up, as once again, this place is not really designed for rehabilitation one day after hip surgery. This facility may be adequate as a long-term skilled nursing facility, but I do NOT advise sending patients here 1-2 days after major orthopedic surgery.Gholson Lyon

The caregivers don’t speak English, probably because Meadow Peak is trying to cut costs on labor. While there is no official language in the US, English is the predominant language and it should be a requirement (it is for CNAs) when dealing with sick or disabled people who don’t want to waste energy and time trying to translate inefficiently with apps. It’s also a health risk when you can’t clearly communicate with those giving you care. Also, the majority of the positive reviews are from employees, Meadow Peak is obviously forcing them to give good reviews to pump up the score. I’ve reported the reviews to Google for conflict of interest, but you should disregard any employee review.Phil Barringer

When my ailing mother was in most need, my family and I were fortunate enough to have found the caring professionals at Meadow Peak. I don't imagine the emotions surrounding the failing health of a loved one are easy for anyone to sort through, but everyone all staff involved kept the focus on my mother; what could or could not be done at the facility (whether I liked it or not); and what our family options were. 🙏🏽 Thank you for the earnest care you provided her in the last days of her journey, and thank you for dealing with me as best you could.Alan B

I work for a local mortuary and visit assisted living locations 5 to 6 times a week. This has by far been the worst, I mentioned the name of this facility, "Mt. Olympus" to my coworkers and they remembered the facility I was talking about. We visit a lot of facilities and aren't generally keeping track of which one is which, except for the really nice ones, and the really bad ones. The nurses were disrespectful, dismissive and abusive towards the residents. They were controlling and dehumanizing. The nurse required us to wear masks and then proceeded to remove theirs for the duration of our time at the facility. When we walked through the hall there was a woman in one of the rooms calling for help. When we got to the back desk, one of the other residence came to the desk and told the nurse that "so in so" was calling for help. The nurse first dismissed the resident saying, "Tell her she needs to turn on her light if she needs help." The resident repeated her request for the nurse to help and the nurse replied angrily and dismissively. "Tell her there's been a death in the facility, and that she needs to turn on the call light." I can understand why it's difficult for nurses to deal with mentally ill and elderly individuals, but if you can't treat them with respect and dignity you shouldn't be in the busines. My associate and I wanted to get out of there as soon as we could. I would rather die alone than die with controlling freaks that don't know the difference between a person and an animal. Staff can change quickly though, so who knows maybe it's a great place sometimes. I just wasn't impressed.Tom Christensen

Poorly Staffed, Poorly Cleaned, No one has any idea what's going on with the residents and no one cares. Full garbage cans, full laundry hampers, dirty linen… OVERCROWDED AND EXTREMELY UNDERSTAFFED WITH NO ACCOUNTABILITY OR INITIATIVE BEING TAKEN BY CURRENT STAFF. Don't ask them questions because they will just act like they're too busy for you and keep passing you off to another employee that doesn't want anything to do with you. My Aunt's teeth look like they havent been brushed in weeks and definitely wasn't bathed recently either. Met with some other residents, who say that the facility is garbage. Please do not send your loves ones here. They have no understanding of what quality care is. THEY DON'T EVEN SERVE MEALS ON TRAYS, ITS ABSOLUTELY FILTHY. After a somewhat tough knee replacement surgery,I was admitted into Mt Olympus Extended Care Facility. My stay has been reasonably adequate and most of the staff have been attentive to my needs while showing compassion and patients. However, I've had some trouble these past few days. When calling for help with either medicine or a simple ice pack, I've had to wait for sometimes over an hour. Other than that, most of the staff have been attentive. I especially liked the physical therapy team, who, in a short amount of time, educated me on ways to improve my strength and range of motion. If I were to assign any blame with my having to wait for care, it would be a lack of staffing.Richard

You get what you pay for. Obviously it will depend on your program, but in my experience most of the course material is outdated and disorganized. Various sources are just tossed together, accumulating over the years like dust bunnies, with almost no attempt to structure them into a coherent whole. Most of the instructors are drowsy and unmotivated burnouts, not committed educators. They are there to “help,” but they really don’t care about the curriculum, much of which is just a waste of time. In general, and despite its much-vaunted “flexible” scheduling, OWTC really does trifle with a student’s time. You will spend most of your scheduled hours reading poorly-written trade manuals and, even worse, clicking through “interactive” learning modules. Far fewer hands-on exercises than you might expect. This place is constantly fiddling with its policies and procedures, too, and to no apparent purpose, other than to irritate you. It took me some time to figure out what’s going on, here, but it’s pretty clear to me now. This is certainly not a community college. It’s not even really a school. It’s NOT somewhere to go to learn how to do something. OWTC performs three and only three functions: (a) it serves as the vocational arm for the area’s high schools, i.e. as a babysitter; (b) it’s a good old-fashioned make-work program for drowsy and unmotivated burnouts; and (c) it allows local businesses and manufacturers to offload its more basic employee training and certification onto the public. All of this is to say that you probably shouldn’t bother with OWTC unless you’re a high school student or you’re already employed in industry and your employer is paying for you to get some BS certificate.a h

Worse experience let’s just put it out there, I went in months ago with my son who had virgin hair and he wanted we got told they can’t do pink they’d need to do purple first and then come back to do pink!! Wrong!! Even with an instructor they didn’t refund us or nothing you’d think with proper education going to this place you’d be fully educated thank god for Paul Mitchelle and my friend who actually has helped us for now 4 months she’s helped his hair I paid double the amount from this school and only sticking to Paul Mitchell and their well educated Instructed with more degrees and not them only wanting my money they give me a proper educated steps on how to do it and keep up on his hair such a waste of time and money and to think I was getting the right services trusting even olderly instructor they don’t know a single thing about taking virgin brown hair to a flamingo pink when my friend has done and she will doing looks like my donated money was needed.Natasha Rivera

Their cosmetology section is amazing! So neat and professional. I loved how there were plenty of instructors to continually check in on the stylists work to ensure a good outcome on your hair. I felt like the stylists were properly trained before working, and had a good extent of knowledge to do damage control on surprise twists and turns along the process. If you guys are looking for a stylist to choose, I suggest Kallye Robinson! She’s so nice, knowledgeable, and did such a good job on my hair. See the pics below!Sydney Donavan

I don't have a lot of experience with Weber State University. I did attend a big conference on their campus today. Their food services provided the meal and it was excellent. It's cool they have shuttles to drive the students in from the parking lots far away. On that shuttle I met the most amazing, young, smart student. Weber State is an amazing university. Their campus is just gorgeous and is always taken care of. The best part is that it’s on the mountain so you always get amazing views. Their staff are so helpful and they offer some amazing classes.Alex Bracken
