My Business Administration Management class was amazing, I learned so much and I am carrying it with everywhere I go. Some people do not like it and so do. My instructor was so brilliant and I am so proud and thankful for him. With his support and all of SJVC workers, instructors, and all around everyone, I was able to get threw this pandemic we are still having and graduate with a 4.0 and being on the deans list. I am thankful for you all. Anyone who wants to go to college for Business or just in general, go to SJVC. They got you covered and they support your every step and decision. Great school for a community college. I heard it’s the best around. Many students come from San Diego or from the North just to go here. They do a lot of things by hand (compared to other schools that do things electronically). The grounds are well kept. The parking is horrible during the beginning of the semester. More parking will be available as time comes. When you register for a class, you need to pay the same day or you get dropped. If you’ve dropped a lot of classes, the school might give you a hold because the classes are impacted. There is a daycare center. Parking permits and books are relatively cheaper than most.Aurora A

Good School. The campus is breath taking. Views of the ocean in the dining hall and surrounding areas. Tons of plants and trees all around, a great variety. Staff are helpful. Parking is a struggle, unless you don't mind parking in dirt lots but then it's not worth buying a parking permit. As for professors and academia, they could improve. Check professors ratings onlines some teach to only one or two learning styles. The classes are pretty easy. Maybe to easy.Michael

I am currently in the vet tech program( just finished term 1 and starting term 2) here are a few things I wish I knew about the program before I started. UPDATE!!! STRONGLY suggest getting your generals done else where!!! Almost done with term 2 and Looking back, the program would be soo much easier if you were just taking the vet core classes. Seriously.. if you are really thinking about going here fresh out of high school and think you are going to be fine with the work load you are in for a rude awakening.. just please take my advice and get your generals done somewhere else. You will actually enjoy your time here if you are just taking the vet core classes because the vet related classes and the generals work load at the same time is extremely stressful because again you will be taking roughly 20 credit hours( that’s general classes and vet core classes) AND the material is very rushed. -curriculum is extremely rushed -instructors are a hit or miss (3/5 instructors were really great and knew what they were talking about and we’re able to explain really well, other 2 did not know the material and did not know how to effectively teach/explain/ or answers any questions about the material they were teaching. Pretty much had to self teach in both classes) -the parking situation is a hot mess. Parking on campus is extremely limited and the street parking is a joke. -The remediation assignments (Student services assigns you an extra assignment on top of your homework in whatever class for being 15+ minutes late or missing the class or leaving 15+ minutes early ie. Handwritten 100 bullet points on the slides of the power point you missed. The instructor then has to sign off on it and you turn it into student services no later than 1 week of the absence/tardy) is extremely unnecessary and just adds more stress. -But all in all still a better program than any of the other schools I was looking into before I started the program. I’m still loving what I am learning about and the hands on labs are amazing. My classmates and I are extremely close and working together and helping each other study is a must to succeed in every class. If you do find yourself struggling there are so many resources the school provides to help you ie. free tutoring from a peer tutor, tutoring from your instructors per request via emailing them. Scheduling an appointment with the Student success coordinator (helps you plan your study schedule and helps with testing stragies). Just know this is a tough program because it’s rushed and you WILL be taking anywhere from 12-20 credits hours. ( this is decided based on if you have transfer credits from other colleges ie. math 1010, Biology1010, college writing, etc. I was taking 20 credit hours. I did not choose this, your schedule will be chosen for you by the school) and you will be eating, living and breathing veterinary medicine for the next 2 years. ( also I want to add that it is STRONGLY recommended that you DONT have a job. At least in 1st term. In orientation they go more in-depth about this. A lot of my classmates including myself quit our full/ part time jobs after 1 month in the program because it was too much) If this is something you think you can handle then it is definitely worth it!Kaitlyn Hart

This school has all the technology you could ever want, and provides a lot of support. I wish I could have afforded to go there. That’s the only downside, is the really high price. I should add, the price is high for a reason. They buy top of the line technology to teach their nurses and vet techs (those are the only things I’ve seen myself, and I am 100% sure they put the money into their other programs, too.) My current financial situation makes the school unaffordable, but the price is 100% worth it. I was going to make myself afford it until I was told about a deposit. I WAS shocked by the $400+ deposit they required during orientation (for the LVN program.) I wasn’t told about it except less than a week before orientation. There was really no iltime for me to prepare. My financial aid advisor, Vanessa, was AMAZING and tried everything to make the school more affordable. My academic advisor, Nikia, was the BEST. She really helped to make me feel comfortable and helped teach me more about the program.Jessica Laroche

The program I was in (vet tech) was great for the most part! However there was a lot of bumps in the 2 years and disorganization when I was there. Teachers were a hit or miss you could get a great one and would love that class, or you would get one you dreaded and never wanted to go to class. Being the first class to graduate from that program we didn't get all the amazing equipment that the students have now. This program over all is a great experience because when you are struggling or need help you can find teachers always doing tutor sessions or the LRC always is willing to help you learn things as well. they are doing the best they can to make sure things run smoothly from now on. I would recommend this course now because it seems like things will run smoother now that they learned from passed mistakes with my class.Allison Kunic

I think financial aid is run by Dr.Seuss. It’s a literal circus. They barely answer the phone and Stacy is brutal. I think she wrestled in the WWE. I simply and politely asked about my financial aid app and she punch me in throat so hard I started singing Ave Maria. I didn’t even know I knew the song. Oh and Brenda in records punched me in my chest so hard my shoulders clapped. She was pretty adamant about me not transferring. Do not step on campus without your PPO being updated.Donovan Bradshawe

This is a great university with students from all around the world, very beautiful buildings, gardens and sport facilities. It was a fantastic experience to study there for an year and enjoy such a nice atmosphere. Just be aware that you need a car to travel in weekends, for Riverside itself does not have many attractions, though it's a cozy city.Michael Rachid

Beautiful campus. So green. I love the Eucalyptus trees. It’s quiet in certain areas and social in others when students are around. A little something for everyone. Nice pathways for both walking and cycling. There are benches all around the campus to provide ample sitting areas to either just rest or to study with solar powered charging stations.Sajleen

From my first experience there it is very overwhelming while it confusing to move through the campus and find were to go at first, once you visit continuously it becomes much easier. CBU is pretty rad, and I want to respond to what I've seen in a couple reviews here. The first of which is people saying the location in Riverside sucks. I'll admit Riverside is not super tight, but there is the mission inn and a drive in movie theater and a few other things which are pretty cool within a few minutes of campus. The best part of Riverside is it's less than an hour from the beach, an hour from the mountains, and hour from LA and 45 minutes from a few theme parks. So if you have a car and aren't super lazy, your weekends should be fun. And there's always fun stuff going on campus too, (dive in movie nights at the pool, intramural and NCAA sports games, concerts, carnivals etc.) so if you have a good attitude you can have fun hanging out on campus. People are saying CBU wants your money. Of course they do, so does every other university that is in business. However CBU will really work with you to help you afford the school. Get good grades, maybe go out for a sports team or the music department and you'll get even more money. You have to work for it though, they don't give out serious amounts of money to anyone. If your parents are in ministry (pastor/missionary/work full time at a church) you're in luck too cuz they have scholarships for that too. It's a Christian school… Yep. I wouldn't say intolerant though. You will be taught what they believe to be Christian values and you can only expect that. There's like 7,000 students too so I'm sure there are rude intolerant ones there too. I think you will find rude/intolerant people no matter where you go but it most definitely is not the essence of the student body. CBU has a uniquely welcoming and loving community, and that's something I've heard from Christians and non-Christians alike at the school. Both are welcome to come but both also are required to go to chapel and follow the rules. I don't agree with all the rules but most of them are a pretty reasonable balance of trying to give freedom to students and adhere to Christian principles (coming from a non-conservative Christian background). That's part of making the decision to go to a Christian university, and realistically it's probably what's best for you anyways. If anyone has anything bad to say about the food I don't know what world famous chef you had cooking for you your entire life before here. The caf has killer variety, Chik-fil-a is freaking Chik-fil-a, Wandas has great breakfast and the best steak quesadillas, and El-Monte is as good as Chipotle. CBU does give real world experience. I know as a business major there are some awesome professors that are all about real world experience. Dr. Weniger and Alderson are a couple that come to mind. You get out what you put into your classes and almost every single professor at the school is very open to spending time with you helping you out with homework or just life. Academics are pretty top tier, but professors do come and go and though most are great, some are much better than others, so do a little time looking round rate my professor if you want the best ones. CBU is great. Sure there are other universities that are great too (not to many that compare that are in Southern California though) but CBU is a well rounded school academically, socially and spiritually. No school/student body is perfect, that's just life, but CBU is a solid choice to spend 4 years growing academically and spiritually into who you are going to be the rest of your life.Jake Roque

Okay, so I went to this school originally considering a nursing degree. It's hard to have many nice things to say about this school.. The school looks nice, but the neighborhood area is crap. You have to drive kinda far to see or do anything nice. It's hardly in Riverside, CA. Feel more like Norco, armpit of California. They put most of their students in cheap housing. Much of it was temporary when I was there. Other housing was old folks homes. Weird cheap, and kinda gross. The major feature of this school is this: They want your money. That's all. It's nothing spectacular in any way, and based on the price, it's a really bad deal. They "award" small scholarships to practically any student for any reason. They try to bring in a bunch of students through their music school. A music degree is NOT WORTH 100k- 150k of debt. And please remember folks, if everybody gets a scholarship, it's not actually a scholarship. THINK about it.. They just want your attention and your money. ALSO, Please be aware they will be raising the tuition on you every year, by lots of money! If you start at 30-35k, You will probably end at 40-45k annually. It's probably costing something around or over 40 or more thousand per year now. And YOU WILL pay more than you think by the end of the year. It's a Christian school, which is fine if you're a Christian. They are relatively intolerant conservatives though. Very serious/ oppressive Christian all over the place. Many of the students are sheltered, and having moved on to a regular university, I can tell you it doesn't represent the real world experience, or normal people, for the most part. Regarding this: Don't bother going here unless you're a rich serious sheltered Christian. If that's what you value, then maybe you'll like this place. Some of the people are fairly friendly, and the food in the cafeteria was good WHEN I was there. That more than a year ago. Some of the teachers were alright as well. I mostly took science classes, for reference. In summary, if you're not a young Christian who has no desire for real-world experience,then don't go here. The price is so not worth it! It's an institution for profit! Go to your local community college and earn entrance to a great University! Even Ivy league schools are looking to replace young dropouts with students that did well in their community colleges! It's just not worth it. If you're a thinking person, you'll start hating this school not long after you get there. NOT WORTH ITMichael D. Bear

I loved all 4 years at this school! As a freshman, I lived in the dorms and met my group of closest friends that I still hang out with to this day. I loved the food and had to be careful with dessert in the cafeteria otherwise I would have packed on the calories. The school does a great job of setting up events that target every student and gives great deals for other off-campus events like cheap Lakers tickets, cheap tickets to theme parks, and other giveaways. I am Mexican and I have never once felt like I was discriminated against at this school, if anything there are plenty of people at this school who make an effort to talk about racial injustices among students. As far as the incident in Ontario, I just want to say that you can find that level of ingorance at any university and even more so outside of that setting. Two girls made a stupid decision to throw a drink on a guy and they happened to be CBU students. If I’m being real here, CBU does not turn many people away when it comes to the application process, so any person who has higher than a 2.5 GPA will most likely get in. CBU does not necessarily focus on whether you are a Christian or not because they’d rather have you here at this school than at a school where the chance of hearing the gospel is much lower. Now back to the point, CBU is honestly such a great school and if you’ve ever visited, you notice right away that the atmosphere is one that you can’t find in many other places. People treat you with love, respect, understanding, and kindness. CBU is a school that truly looks to serve the students in any way possible and that’s the truth. Don’t let others who are are upset about what happened in Ontario tear down the idea of coming to this school because you will definitely see that the number of students who will treat you with love and respect far outweighs the ones who would pour a drink on you for sitting during the national anthem. Christian or not, CBU will welcome you with open arms regardless of ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, gender, etc..Gabriel Lara

This school only employed extremely right wing, openly racist, often under-qualified staff when I was attending from 2003 until my graduation in 2006. The accreditation from this school was not recognized by any State schools or other colleges, so I had to remain at this bigoted institution unless I wanted to spend the time and money to start my education from scratch elsewhere. A very nice campus in the OC. I went on a tour for counselors here about a year ago. This is a nice place if you want small classes and a nice living enviroment. Your professors really get to know you and you get plenty of connections before you graduate. Also, plenty of study abroad opportunities. Graduated here in 2018. Yes the school is not perfect. but it is affordable and offers all sorts of academic programs for students & for those who are interested in learning a new skill. A few issues with the homeless people who easily make their way in the school's restroom and leave all their mess inside. A bit more security is also needed because of the area surrounding the school, but overall it's a good community college. Looking back now, I miss every moment I got to spend here. Two years ago I had the good insight of enrolling in Concorde's PTA program. The program is run by knowledgeable Physical Therapists invested in quality education (Mary, Sam, Laura, Kelly, Dennis). They provided me with the necessary tools to start a new career and enter the work force feeling competent with my skills. The school has a department dedicated to assist graduates find a job, Alvy has personally helped me with this, he even rendered a mock interview so that I would show up to a possible employer as a strong and coherent candidate. Because the program is so well organized (from prerequisites to clinical rotations and even when/how to signing up for your board test!) it is easier to have a balance school/personal life. And when you approach the school, Karl, the security officer at the entrance, is the most welcoming and kind person that will ever open a door for you.Yawi Griffini

My experience at Concorde has truly been astounding. I joined the Medical Assistant program and my teacher Ms Tameka was nothing short of a great instructor. She was very patient, compassionate and dedicated to ensuring that every student learned even if it meant staying late or adapting the way she presented materials.The Financial staff Eva and Peetee were very efficient in handling my paperwork so that I could dedicate my focus to studying and be successful. Upon completion my graduate employment specialist Rocky was a true rockstar. I had no faith in using their services but this guy was very helpful in making sure my resume was top notch and that I was interview ready and confident enough to land jobs and ask for the money I deserved. The SJVC-online BSRT program is very user friendly when it comes to ones computer skills. There are some minor glitches here and there when it comes to assignment communication. I am very happy with my decision in choosing SJVC to obtain my Bachelor’s degree. The staff of this school is pretty good with communication, especially the Dean. Whenever i had a problem he was fast to solve the issue. The experience was great. I did have to find my own extern site, but my career advisor was really supportive and helpful. I wanted to attend the Nursing program but no one has responded so I will probably not do it here. I have to represent my school! I dont know about the other programs but I finishes the LVN program graduated in Jan. 2015 the nursing department is amazing!! The school really goes above and beyond to train us and give us as much experience as they can. Shout out to Dr. Haney the nursing director!! Love this guy! He is a nurse and guess what also a Physician. We his students couldent be in better hands. Like every school they are not perfect but knowing you have a dedicated and devoted director that is willing to play theory instructor, clinical instructor, and spend his nights and weekends helping you and your education incase his staff fails, thats priceless! He is a role model to all students and staff and proves it if needed. I have the luxury to say a Dr. Was my theory instructor in nursing school and my classmates and I slammed dunked the NCLEX yeeea!! About job hunting I recommend alredy being in the field before you go spend $29k on a program obviously. I was alredy a CNA for 2yrs. And it was easier for me to get a job. Staff was very nice. However, the ultrasound program is not accredited. When asked about if and how many students were employed here or near LA after graduation, they only kept saying examples of very few students that got employed in other states and small cities, pretty much anywhere that would overlook the program not being accredited because they needed employees. And even then it took them months to find the job. You can't sit for the ARDMS exam after graduation until after you have a year of full time paid work experience (which will be nearly impossible to find a job with out having done the exam or going to a caheep school.) Do your research please before picking a college for the AAS DMS program. This one wasn't the one for me. I decided to go to an accredited school which was only $1,000 more than WCUI. Worth the money because the school is very nice, modern, and its less of a hassle to sit for the ARDMS exam (which ima able to do quickly with out the paid work experience because of going to an accredited school.)Jennifer Martinez

West Coast Ultrasound Institute has been amazing to me, and every part of my experience they have been positive and given me high confidence that I made the right choice when I picked this school to get my training. The equipment is always available and the staff are super helpful, going above and beyond to help me when I need extra learning, and giving me encouragement when I’m on the right track. Fariba is one of the best teachers I’ve ever had in my life, she knows her stuff! As a lab instructor she is professional, Polite and she has great teaching skills, she cares about her students. When I need help she’s there, in class or out of class. Her instructions are very clear, with her lectures and techniques given to me and the other students to become more efficient sonographers. I know with these facilities and the staff here at WCUI, I’m going to be well prepared for a career in the field. I also just recently passed my SPI board exam. Signed the Enrollment paperwork the first time and the start dates were wrong. By the time they sent me the enrollment paperwork to sign that had the right dates I had decided to not go to school there for various reasons, mostly because CCI doesn't work with any bank for student loans, they expect you to take out personal loans and lie to the banks about what you will use the money for (highly illegal). Told the school I would not be attending there and continue to get emailed almost every single night at midnight to sign my enrollment paperwork. I told the front desk staff 2 times that I would not be attending and to stop sending me emails and they continue to email me for weeks. Additionally 3 YEARS LATER they decided to send me to collections for $80 claiming I didn't pay the enrollment fee when I know I did because I paid it the exact same time as another student and they didn't send that student to collections. And since I didn't keep a paper recipient from 3 YEARS AGO then I have to pay through collections. Keep in mind CCI clearly had my email and phone number to contact me over a 3 year period to pay the enrollment fee, for the school I did not attend by the way, but instead of doing that they would rather send you to collections and hurt your credit score, over $80. Not once was in contacted about owing any money to the school. Let's just say I am so happy that I ended up not attending CCI, blessing in disguise.Danica Johnson

This is the most unorganized, unprofessional, unethical school I’ve experienced. They treat their students like elementary children, lie about funds, and demean you like you know absolutely nothing. I had a 4.0 the whole time I attended, yet there was a problem every single day whether it be with the unorganized clinical instructor who contradicted herself daily, or from student services, even the DON. All they want is your money they could care less about helping you through nursing school, or making sure you have what you need. As long as they’re paid, they don’t care. 95% of the staff are rude. My class didn’t start clinicals until mid level 2, when it was advertised and told to us that we would start WEEK SIX OF LEVEL 1. They try to blame it on covid, or the clinical sites, when in fact here just unorganized. I went to school here for Medical Assistant in 2016, enrolling was super easy and the staff were helpful with fafsa when I had no clue how that worked. I loved that it was a short fast 9 month program , and in class I definitely liked that the first 2 hours was book work & the other 2 hours we did all the hands on work! I had a great experience here having Ms. J as a teacher she made sure we did everything the right way & that we understood everything . But I do wish they held graduation at a different location other than outside at the school .Evelyn Nunez

yesterday 7/27/2020 I officially graduated from Concorde college (MA PROGRAM) and all I can say is if you’re looking for a school to help you learn about the medical field Concorde is it. They have great teachers willing to help you as much as possible. They have a great computer lab, always open to help! The school is very well kept and cleaned! Staff also does little events here and there just to show appreciation to the students which I loved. The staff here are AMAZING! 2 staff I would really like to shout out are ARIANA HERTZ & MONICA CARLOS! Both of these woman helped me so much and went out their way to make sure i was doing great at Concorde. Security GEORGE was also such a great staff, he always would help as much as he can. But overall all staff is great, super helpful and super friendly. I felt so welcomed at Concorde as soon as I got there! So glad I came to this school because not only did I get an education but I made some wonderful friends here too. I LOVE CONCORDE💙! This review is overdue. But I wanted to wait until I had been working in my field a couple of years to review. I graduated in 2019 with my LVN, and I was able to obtain my license in January 2020. I was well prepared. Passed my nclex on the first try. But I studied and I followed the direction the instructors and staff recommended to get there. Sometimes it felt like they were dragging us through the ringer, when it came to assignments, tests, clinical etc. But it was well worth it. I started my job confident in all of the basic LVN skills. Vital signs, GT, wound care, interpersonal relationships etc. This school taught me so much about myself. If you are considering a career change; or a jump start to your career. I highly recommend. Garden Grove Concorde is what you expect out of a school. I love this campus. I enrolled here in 2006 for the Respiratory Therapist program and graduated in 2008. During the program, they provided all the resources i needed to get through all my courses such as tutoring, 1 on 1 help, and most importantly the most friendliest, attentive staff from the front the front desk all the way to the top. i would like to mention someone who has help through my toughest times, Lynda Carlos. When i was having trouble with my application process she would go out of her way to help me. She was like this with every student and every one of my class mates love her. A a Veteran transitioning to civilian life choosing a field and school was not easy. Upon researching schools for Electrical and reading reviews I chose Intercoast College Riverside due to their accreditation from the State and VA and great reviews. For those who are fellow Veterans I recommend this school due to the following. Intercoast was very informative and is a certified school by the state and VA. When I first started in January Pre-COViD and attending school everything was at a nice pace, we did lecture one day and practiced the next day what we went over for our lecture. The school supplied us with everything we needed to my surprise not cheap tools or limits when using product such as wires or devices to make connections. The simulations they have are small scale meant to build confidence when you do enter the field. When we transferred over to online the school did not disappoint with the lessons and virtual labs. I personally love being hands on but they made do with what was given to them. The instructors I had were seasoned Masters of their field not inexperienced instructors you might see somewhere else. My current instructor for the main Electrical course Ricardo Barrow and Antonio Tristan who I want to say have 60+years of experience and the introduction to the field Jason Ashbaugh who I might say has 20+years in the field introduced us to the basics of Electricity and construction. They have really gone above and beyond in trying to prepare us and giving us the proper critiques and corrections in order to learn not in demeaning ways but as mentors. Mayra De Leon who is my student success partner has been instrumental in my success dealing with transferring to hybrid online and getting everything I needed to stay successful with reminders and checking in to make sure we are not having issues with the course. Andrew De Luna who is the Career service coordinator has been a great help, he has gone above and beyond making sure that I received certifications that I have completed, for this reading this you will get your OSHA 10/CPR, and Electrical Trainee Card during this course on top of other certifications that will make you a competitive applicant. Over all I look forward to finishing, but will leave with a bittersweet taste due to leaving such great people and support.Alejandro Montoya

I have nothing but positive things to say about Intercoast. If you are looking for a hands on, approachable and knowledgeable staff and an outright outstanding education ( I studied alcohol and drug counseling) you are making a wise choice in researching ICC for your future. The administration worked with my personal concerns, financial aide was a breeze, and career counseling was diligent in finding myself an internship and possible future career. (i'm interning now). I attended this place an i will say it was a complete scam. Paid 20k in student loans and took a year course in electrical. We literally bent conduit twice they basically just give you a couple of books and waste your time. Only reason I learned anything was because i read the book. Nothing hands on seems they where hesitant to buy anything for the students to work on. They have a hvac course and we didn’t have AC for months it was hell in those rooms it was boiling. I brought a personal fan but when its 90 in a room in southern California desert during summer it doesn’t do much. Study! You have to take it serious. Show up, participate, study, study again. I graduated in 2019 Dec. There are some things that I wasn't clinically prepared for once I was on my own. So be assertive when doing clinicals and learn. If you drive be prepared to pay for parking everyday at campus! We had validations but it still cost about 5 dollars. The teachers I had were very knowledgeable and they change throughout the year. Also the teachers gave me references and even job recs.. When I say knowledgeable I mean in the field and nursing stuff not on teaching lmao!! I didnt give five 5 stars because they need a guidance counselor, I dont like one of the receptionist, one of my teachers was very brash, I'm missing some clinical experience, parking, and 3 people I know forsure didn't graduate or get licensed because they couldn't pass ATI. The staffs are really nice and Ms Lopez is an amazing teacher, everyone there are really helpful and they are willing to work with you on making it an amazing experience. I had a great experience at this training center yesterday! This facility is friendly, has great equipment, small class sizes, and we were fortunate to have a very knowledgeable instructor, Doctor Sergio. We had 5 people in our class, and we were encouraged to practice our skills as many times as we needed. There was plenty of equipment, and the equipment was new and up-to-date. The prices are better than other centers, but they do not skimp on quality. They even had coffee, breakfast rolls and snacks for us! Wonderful school and very qualified instructors. I initially chose this school because it is close to my house, but I am very glad I signed up for their CNA program. I took an ACLS class at the North Hollywood location and loved it! The entire staff was very friendly and welcoming. Not only did I come out of the class learning a lot but I also had a lot of fun. The instructor, Sergio, was extremely educated and was extra patient with each and every one of us throughout the entire class. I graduated from CDI on June 2022! I passed my NCLEX on the first attempt with 75 questions! It was an amazing experience because of the friends I made along the road, helpful staff, and their financial aid! I enjoyed my training at Los Angeles Career College. I started school in November of 2021 and I am now a CNA. I passed my California state exam. The CNA course was about 6 weeks long and our state exam was done at the college. I find the school professional and extremely accommodating for the students. My class was a small group of about 7 people, but we bonded and we all passed our CNA nursing skills plus the written state exam. We had a great instructor Zianya, who is extremely knowledgeable and sincerely wanted her class to succeed. I would highly recommend the school to anyone who is thinking of making a serious career change in their life. Manana is the CNA coordinator and when I first spoke to her she was sincere and answered all my questions which put my mind at ease. Manana will take good care of you. She is dependable and reliable. I am so happy to choose Los Angeles Career College for the CNA program. The instructors had all of our best interests at heart and really pushed for all of the students' success. The theory portion of the course was online but very thorough with the material we had to learn. For clinical we had a very knowledgeable instructor and she was absolutely amazing. AMAZING EXPERIENCE! The office staff was always very helpful and prompt at everything. The instructor Heidi did a phenomenal job. Very knowledgeable, understanding, funny and always had a great attitude. I fainted when I got stuck ,but the instructor was right beside me during it and made sure I felt safe. She not only made sure I never felt embarrassed or alienated from the class, she also made sure to still give us all a great experience. I graduated as a LVN from CES. I greatly enjoyed meeting some amazing people along the way, there are some great instructors, Ms. Holden is amazing with theory teaching, and Ms Adele and Ms Mariya are so helpful and full of information during clinicals. There were a couple teachers who came with some struggles, but nobody said nursing school is easy! I passed my NCLEX on my first try and felt the school did a great job preparing me, even during the struggles that came with finishing up in the middle of a global pandemic, the school did great to make sure we graduated in time. Incredibly unorganized!!! I called a week in advanced to schedule my assessment test. The clerk (lady) confirmed i was scheduled an appointment for 5:30 03/06/19. Sure enough i call an hour and a half to see if i can go a little earlier she then states no one was scheduled for an assessment knowing i had a long drive! If thats how they treat a potential student who is willing to invest time and money in this institution. I wonder how they deal with helping their students obtain jobs after graduation! CES College is a fantastic place to learn. Great teachers at an affordable price. Prior to completing the Massage Therapy Program I took the MBLEX Exam and passed it on my first try. I’m now a certified massage therapist in the state of California and I was able to do it at CES College for 1/5 of the price of the some of the other schools out there.
