Absolutely not. I know rocks that can gain more intelligence in a lifetime compared to the amount of anything you'll gain here. They don't even offer flexible tutoring hours for students employed by the school. What? are you kidding? Say its a conflict of interest. A conflict of who's interest? Cause its truly conflicting the interest to learn when you cant make a buck and get help with academics at the same time. Highly unprofessional staff, hand to God I thought they were common transients you pass by in hallways and streets. Also the graduation rate there is half past depressing and that alone is a reflection of the interests the professors have in teaching a community anything college related. Please be aware of this college. Worst college in USA. Took money out from Income Tax return without even attending any class. Please be very aware before you visit this college or sign any papers.My wife went there to check about the courses they provide and see the college. She never went to that college again and never did any class. After couple of months we received a bill that we owe money. Called the college and the front desk said that you have to talk with the billing department. They told us that you have to come to the college and sign the paper. My wife told that her foot is broken and she have 4 kids so that is why she cannot come. She Also told them that she will send doctor and hospital note that she cannot drive.They hung up the phone on her. She sent so many email and calls but no reply. Spoke with billing department that I really need that money for my kids. They guy I spoke said that i can not return the money. Most of the bad reviews are coming from people who had ONE bad experience at like the book store or whatever or i gEt tHiEr aDs oN hUlu, though the veteran who shared his story probably has a decent case to make. Anyway I got a business degree from this college and if you actually try you can do really really well here, with great professors and programs like the honors program which gives high level learning at bottom dollar, and wonderful faculty like the folks at PTK, disability services, or the Fuller Center. Don't get me wrong, there's a lot to work on regarding graduation rates, the food, no one card system, etc but I couldn't give this place anything less than 5 stars because of all of the wonderful people who give 110% here, especially in those departments I mentioned. If you live in Worcester don't spend 30k a year to go to Assumption, you'll save so much money to come here. The qcc "police" are some of the most unqualified and unempathetic people in the area. There is no doubt they have no training, no expertise in law and zero idea of what they are doing. You would think that this school being a “community college” they are more understanding of financial situations and are more efficient with financial aid an other “programs” they offer. Not this school! Not only does every single person in the financial aid office treat you just like another person asking for handouts but depending on what staff you run into behind the desk you might not even get the correct information! I went to the financial aid office yesterday due to the fact that I found out when trying to register for classes for spring 2018 that I was on a financial “probation” these people gave me NO NOTICE NO CALL NO NOTHING but that’s the least of my worry at this point. I go to their office the girl behind the desk had told me due to me getting a D in my math class last semester of 2017 financial aid was skeptical about covering classes for this upcoming semester so I would have to appeal( good thing I came a week before registRtion was over ) I appeal the form then I get a notice in the mail saying I’ve been only approved for 1 class this semester up to 6 credits. I was a little bothered, but I took it, I go down to finally register once again! Then I was told I didn’t have enough for books an technically they were only covering up to 3 credits an my class is 4 so I owe the school clerk a balance of $23.00 and now I’m also expected to pay for my text book. 6 days before class starts … what happened to the notice they sent me that said they cover up to six credits???? literally because I struggled in my math class last semester an got a D I’m going through all this torture as someone who is barely able to pay my own freaking bills at 20 an living by myself just trying to get my own education, every Semester it’s something else with this school the office people SUCK they are there for a job an that’s it. Then When you ask to speak to someone in charge of financial aide they torture you with hold for atleast a good 20 minutes on the phone ( probably praying for you to hang up) unless your willing to take 2 and three trips down to the office which is no problem probably for someone who doesn’t works full time.so now that the semester is getting ready to start an they feel like they did their part by covering the “majority” of my class (3 out of 4 credits, which my paper says they should cover up to 6 credits at least but whatever) I’m now expected to fend for myself an purchase a $200 text book within the next six days. Professors and fellow students are great but the administration and admissions process is a night mare. Little to no help to navigate threw the process. No one is willing to answer question. They always refer you to another person. Example: Me: Can you please tell me how I can access the wifi here? Advisor: You will have to contact a student advisor for that. Me: :/ Avoid online courses here. Professor did not make access easy. Not clear as to what material is needed. If professor isn't able to help you navigate course or they themselves aren't sure of what to do you will still be responsible for payment. Only time in my life I hired a professional service and they were unable to preform paid for task and I was still responsible for payment. And of course there is no one available to talk to about this and if there is no one knows who it is to refer you. If you do decide to take courses here try to make friends with other students that have already been threw the admissions/ administration nightmare. Don't take online. 1: I registered for a class and dropped it a before week prior to it starting, boy was I in for a surprise bill. $120 for a class I didn’t even step foot in, let alone it didn’t even start when I dropped it. What a SCAM. Of course I had no choice but to pay it. So just be cautious when you’re registering for a class, because you cannot change you’re mind and not expect to pay a fee even if the class hasn’t begun. 2: If you’re “graduating” be sure to wait months for your actual diploma to be delivered. Very unorganized system they have going there. I graduated in may and have yet to receive any proof of it. My transcript is still not updated with my current degree and my diploma is who knows where. Sucks. 3. If you’re receiving financial aid and you’re registered for a class and the school decides they want to cancel it, be prepared to repay financial aid back.S G

I am very disappointed at this school. I'm about halfway through my online RN-BSN program and I have always worked hard on all my courses. I have managed to maintain a 4.0 GPA up to now, but I don't know how this is going to continue. It has never been easy to do schoolwork while working as a nurse and having family and obligations at home, but I have always done it. The syllabus for the new course starting a week from now outlines a tremendous amount of work. I mean, several weeks will have 4 assignments. This is the opposite of what they advertise online and everywhere. This is not a university for people who are working and trying to balance work, life, and a degree. This is called false advertising. I agree with another reviewer who said, if you want to work yourself to death and not see your family, and not have any time at all for anything else but school – this is the school for you. I'm very disappointed at realizing the amount of work and these many assignments every week. Like I said, I'm not one that is trying to slack and procrastinate, and not do any work, and still get a degree. That is absolutely not me. I'm a hard worker but I still need to sleep at least a few hours a day, and work, and care for my family, and work on school. It is not only school in people's lives. Yes, it is important to get a degree, but there is not only school in life. When they advertise "manageable coursework, this is the school where people who work and can get their degree, at SNHU students have a good school/life balance" Please, stay away and do not believe it. It is not true. The amount of work for this 3-credit course of an undergraduate degree is absolutely insane. I must say that this is not a capstone course. Not sure I will be as successful this term. Received an email that basically minimizes my all my concerns and generalizes "I know that all students make sacrifices to get their degrees." "Deans, students, and instructors know that this course is very heavy." Sorry. I am stuck now that I'm halfway through but if you have a choice, look for another university. I regret not choosing Capella University. Very disappointed. Other negative aspects are the fact that instructors want you to follow the rubric, but they don't understand it themselves. Poor communication when you ask for clarification. Poor feedback that fails to point out what to correct. Inconsistencies in grading. The most repetitive assignments that you can ever think of. I received my bachelors degree in 2020 from SNHU. This experience was not horrible. I decided to continue having researched both SNHU and MSU for my MBA in Project Management. First couple of classes went very well and very smooth. Hit a class where the instructor passed off that they have zero authority over assignments and can’t deter from the rubric. Ok not what was asked but asked for clarification of coachback notes as they were written in a way you can’t understand, referenced things not about my personal paper and instructor couldn’t even expand on what to correct. I can handle criticism but if I need clarification isn’t that what an instructor is for? Not one question asked was answered. Went through the dispute process and the university of course refused to help or do anything. Why would they take ownership and accountability??? And they actually concurred with the notes provided by the instructor that even my advisor mentioned was not clear and not how she as an instructor would reply to a student. This university is absolutely not with using for a graduate degree. I am stuck since I am over 1/2 way done. Wouldn’t make sense to change schools now. Heed my warnings. Run!!David Voelker

The process of enrolling is very outdated and inconvenient. You don’t have a actually portal like most schools do that you watch your process flow. You depend on a advisor and callling all the time to get all info needed. If you’re lucky not to be the one of the chosen few to get picked to have a extra verification done. You have to send it photocopy of id, a utility bill, and notarized document. They requested a notarized document to verify my address then told me I couldn’t upload it, that it had to be mailed. The only reason I found out that document had to be mailed is when I called to ask why it couldn’t be uploaded. Their process is outdated and very inconvenient and really not consistent. Being a transfer student from ISU I'm impressed . The latter statement was 4 years ago. I graduated this year with plans to go to graduate school. The school has issues that, are not taken seriously or are ignored. Many changes, though minor can improve and help student learning at no additional cost. Even with the multitude of problems the university has, they will never be solved unless they hire a mediator to work with students and staff. Such person must have a likable personality and known among the students, professors and staff to properly retrieve information to suggest changes. Our new President is a very likable and devoted individual. But such a position prevents him actually to see what is taking place on campus. The university has provided me an excellent education I could not have gotten from a more prestigious university. The staff and professors go above and beyond what is required of them to help struggling students. The university is very humble in their devotion to students and provide a one on one.service to students. But as I mentioned there are many things in need of change. For example; this is the only university I know that has banking hours for a study environment. The library is the primary place of study but opens at 730 am and closes at 10pm. If you are in need of more studying time your out of luck. They graciously extend the hours by 2 during midterm and finals. Though the the library is over staffed and only one librarian has a devoted concern towards students, beware if you bother the others for help and interrupt their online movies and other activities.Byron Doherty

Was a student of MTTI's Medical Coding Program that just graduated this passed June 2022. There were a few bumps in the road during the schooling but overall it is a very good school with active faculty members. Just wanted to review mainly to highlight Mrs Rocc. She is extremely empathetic and tries for every student that enters her classroom. The trick with her is if you are struggling or have a question LET HER KNOW. If she knows she will tell you or guide you depending on scenario. And if she doesn't, she will hands down be right there with you looking for an answer to help! She doesn't give up on students. And she genuinely cares. Even now she checks in on me to see how I'm doing in my career path! Also Shawn the Career coordinator. He is very good at what he does! He will guide you through the school year with resume prep, interview prep, job search, and still emails after you graduated to update you on employment opportunities. I had a really great experience both teachers were awesome! I started off not knowing anything about bikes and by the end of the year I restored a whole bike in two months. The teachers were very patient and listened to me whenever I was having trouble. They helped me learn things step by step and went over everything multiple times to make sure everyone understood all the details. The class work and notes were very clear and they gave us a good amount of time to study before each test. The textbooks and shop assignments were very helpful and made everything a lot more clear. It helped me a lot learning in class then going into the shop and doing job sheets and being hands on. They always made sure everyone was on the same page and never rushed. I took the residential and commercial electrical course and came in as a no nothing and left as one of the top students, which I had never done before and I have to thank my instructor Rick and skills instructor Dennis for guiding me through this process. Going to a school in where you’re actually invested in what’s going on makes learning so much easier because you actually want to be there and are invested. I am an alumni class from several years ago. When I was there the environment was great and it is nice to know, it still is! I hear about it from both younger siblings class of 2018 and 2021. Most of the teachers are remarkable and truly care for their students. The trade classes become small families and the trade school teachers are experts in their fields. My pet peeve are the rules not being equally applied and not always being just. My example are the students with family working in the school; they do get special privileges such as not getting in trouble when others would. I seen it when I was there and still see it. The school is typically great with rules and discipline. Maybe it is all schools who knows. I wish the school would have expanded larger before adding more students each year because when it comes to graduation it is very hard to squeeze as many people into the small gym. I'm glad the sports have expanded since being there! It is great that the school is always renovating, clean and well organized. Hopefully they will eventually find more space for all the new classes, shops, sports, groups and students they keep adding.A.M. F

My son was very disappointed when he found out he was on the waiting list and honestly I feel discriminated because he has all a’s currently and had a’s and b’s last semester. And his attendance percentage is a 92 and would’ve been higher, but we went on vacation and we lost a couple days and he still did his work on his computer so his grades stayed the same. And his colleague has C’s and D’s and has the same attendance percentage as my son and he got accepted and my son didn’t and honestly we feel very disappointed in this school because they told me that the reason why my son didn’t get accepted and is on the waiting list is because of his attendance and my sons colleague has the same attendance as him and he got accepte d with worse gradesCarla Darosa

There are many silly kids reviewing who do so because they performed poorly in school. Don't listen to them. 3 stars because the technical education is a must! Regardless of if the shops are your calling, you have a job leaving high school. That's huge. However, they don't always handle students well. Even the students who performed poorly could do with better care, because as a student who does what they're supposed to I had to deal with so many bad students. REALLY bad. The school isn't actually exclusive. Its definitely worth it though in the sense that its the best you'll get in this county. I don't know if thats saying much.Jazzy G

I consider myself very familiar with the VA medical system. I've been in treatment from my injuries since my blast consistently since 2014. None of my past diagnosis mean a thing here.. The gastro department here refuses to talk to the neurology department. For someone who has a traumatic brain Injury this is very important. I've been in inpatient facilities and other hospitals where's it's taken years for specialists and doctors working together to come up with a diagnosis and plan. I then move here where a student gives me a diagnosis in minutes with a prescription.. Im almost bed ridden now and have to move to another VA because of it.. I've been treated unprofessionally by my case managers where I've brought up past records and been laughed at as if I was making things up. .. Just recently they can now see my records and after almost 4 years with my health in horrible decline I now have more problems than I came here with. The blame was placed again on me for not doing a proper transfer of care. They had months of advance notice because this wasn't my first time going to a new VA. Constant blame and no accountability. Even with my records now available I'm deeply disturbed by the fact I have rarely seen a real doctor here and just see students. This place may be great for your normal aging veterans but if you have serious injuries or anything to complicated I wish you the best. Some other better facilities include Pittsburgh VA and Richmonds Va where I have received top notch care. Good luckColton Carmen

I have had very mixed experiences here. Some amazing staff that listened and really wanted to help. Powerades abusive jerks who took pleasure in triggering a flash back. It's the usual mixed bag of garbage the VA gives you these days. They force the patients to wear masks under COVID protocols. They prevent patients from having companions while receiving care under COVID guidelines. But I did not see a single staff member wearing a mask nor a face mask nor taking any COVID preventive steps on themselves. They prevented my companion from joining me but did not offer me a sign language interpreter even when informed of my profound deafness and that my hearing aids were broken. Yet when I did not respond or I did not understand they ER staff on my second visit became very abusive and did everything they could to trigger a flashback so they could put me in the non-compliant category and get rid of me. if you are a combat veteran and if you have any other option don't go there .Melissa Sterry

Providence VA Hospital has got to be the worst healthcare system I've ever seen. They give you phone numbers that don't work. They lost my MRI scans twice – I had to go back to the imaging center twice to get them. But this is the worst: I've got cervical spine issues from previous surgeries. One day I had severe spasms, lost control of my car, climbed the curb and nearly hit a group of people. I called the VA as I was scared … a nurse called me back, I explained the problem and he said the doctor would call me back but no one ever did. I had to get my own primary care doctor and get a referral to a specialist outside of their system. I had asked for a new doctor and they said they'd send me the paperwork … they never did. Update: I have been working for 8 months as a dental assistant and they prepared me so much for it. I feel like they really taught us what to do for the actual day to day office environment and they really helped me. Of course the beginning when you start you still have to learn other things but I feel like I was so prepared because of my teachers I highly recommend this program for anyone looking to become a dental assistant! I had initially put up a negative review because of a situation that turns out to be my misunderstanding, completely my fault for not waiting to speak in person because email sometimes there can be some miscommunication and that's completely my bad! Once I went in and spoke to them I realized I was completely wrong and I apologize profusely! So embarrassing that was all me. Clarissa and Onneita are like my little guardian angels! Idalia and Angelica as well! They have been amazing I could not be more happy and so grateful that I've had these people in my life building me up and helping me get to where I need to be. They work so hard on every single students behalf I don't know how they do it! Another part of the program I absolutely loved besides the staff is that it's all inclusive so basically you don't have to worry about coming out of pocket seperately for textbooks, for tests, uniforms, anything like and it helps take stress off of the process. Going to Lincoln Tech Somerville was the best decision. Just like many of you, Covid put me out of job and I needed to create a new game plan. The whole admission, Education and faculty are the best group of people I have ever met. I am a student currently wrapping up my dual certification program. I would highly recommend AM for anyone interested in going into Medical Aesthetics. I have experienced AM as both a student and model, and I have left each time impressed with what was offered. I have taken 2 courses with the most recent one being Applied Anatomy for Facial Aesthetics: A Cadaver Dissection. This is a must have class to take to enhance your understanding of anatomy and safety, not to mention the hands on experience and access to Dr Russo and the skilled instructors in an intimate setting. The facial assessment portion of the class was excellent. I have already signed up for additional courses and am looking forward to transitioning to aesthetics with confidence after being in the nursing field for almost 30 years (NP for 8). Taking the Dr. Russo and Dr. Sykes cadaver dissection course at AIM for the second time proved to be beneficial. After injecting for 12 years, I continue to always learn new things and improve my knowledge level and therefore, my skill set too. I will never think I am too experienced or knowledgeable to disregard an opportunity for advanced learning. Stay humble, always be willing and open to learn new things is my motto! Also, the Sykes Face Sculpting class was another great class that did not disappoint- facial balance and harmony achieved through advanced assessment skills followed by injections in the appropriate places was the focus; as well as cheek, jawline and chin contouring. In 11/2020 during the COVID restrictions my mother had an accident and was hospitalized and released/ transferred to Evergreen House for short term rehab. She was there around 3 months before her passing. This was difficult times for our family since we were not able to see her and she was a quad suffering from long term MS so communicating was a challenge. I want to publicly thank Evergreen and their whole team for the way they handled Mom's care and end of transition. From admission, to the constant communication with us, to improving our communication with Mom via ipads and video chats we were able to see her progress and communicate with her daily. As the restrictions lifted we fortunately were able to be allowed in to see her face to face as her health turned for the worst. Mom and our family felt she was surrounded by truly caring people.Chris Kinzie

I am 3000 miles away from this facility. My dad is there now. According to him. The staff, food ,physical therapy and accommodations, have surpassed his expectations. I would like to thank the staff for working with him and encouraging ,his own , strong will for him to get fit. They staff seems attentive and does things like launder clothing that are dropped off before being delivered to the patient. I am taking a wild guess that they are trying to not become another Covid nightmare. I do not know about the other stories that rate as 1 star. I have heard nothing derogatory from my eye witness. 4 Stars because he is still there for 4 more days, The staff is in his corner, attentive, helpful, encouraging and like I said, he thought that the food was rather good.Andrew Condon

The place is very nice, however it takes forever for someone to come in when my husband pushes the call button, especially when he is sitting in body waste , for what now has been 40 minutes , and it is not the first time this has happened.. Another issues is when they do come in and they turn around to leave when my husband still is asking a question, disrespectful! I recently attended Coastal Career Academy in Fall River, MA. I attended the February – April evening classes. It’s a great school. They helped me accomplish a huge step in my life, a first step to a much brighter more promising future. I signed up for the Nursing Assistant program. It’s a 100 hour program, in which they provide everything necessary to get you ready for your state test. Signing up was easy. It’s a decently priced school. And one of the few in which are still open during this pandemic. Debbie owns and runs the school. She can be a bit scarce and hard to get a hold of but she’s honestly got so much going on with all the programs her school provides and getting them together for both attending and up coming students. My CNA instructor was very professional, great with communication and very thorough with teaching. She is willing to go the extra mile to help you with anything you need to learn or practice. She made sure myself and my class were well prepared for our state test. Coastal Career Academy provides you with both morning and evening classes which is great for anyone who needs a flexible schedule for attending Coastal Career Academy. With the variety of courses they offer you honestly can’t go wrong. I recently passed my state test on both my Clinical and Knowledge test. I couldn’t be more happier and I plan on coming back for a few more things like CPR and EKG. The school is very unprofessional and the director will rip you off. Although my teacher was kind and put a lot of effort into preparing us for our CNA state test, she was not trained or prepared to teach us because the director (Debbie) hired her on the day classes started and didn’t give her the proper material to teach us with. Who has students pay a down payment for a class that may or may not have a teacher? Many payments made by the students were lost and misplaced and the director tried making it seem like people owed more than what they actually did. She just cares about the money. The secretary even agreed that the director will rip you off. Our class complained about not feeling prepared for the state test to Debbie. She demanded a mandatory skills class for two days, only did it for one and said “we’ll be fine”. People who shouldn’t have failed, failed. If you are looking into local schools in the Fall River area for CNA, Phlebotomy, Medical Assistant etc. I highly recommend Coastal Career Academy, I was a little hesitant on going back to school but the owner and instructor Deb Gomes helped me break out of my shell and nipped my what if attitude in an instant. You don’t just learn from Deb or any of her instructors you become family. From dealing with stressed out students nervous about state exams, or taking time to help with job placement even after you have been certified they continue to be there. Also you cannot beat the prices for each program either, if you are considering a profession in healthcare Coastal Career is definitely a great place to start. Avoid this for-profit school! Go to ANY other trade school.They canceled my student loans without my knowledge. I got pulled out of class several times in the beginning of my semester and was told to go to the bursars office, once I got there no one could tell me what was going on with my account and they told me to try the registrars office. Same thing, no one could tell me why I was getting pulled out of class or what was going on with my account. Everything looked fine they said. After about 3 weeks of that and getting zero info…I stopped getting pulled out of class and at the end of the semester I got a $5000+ bill. They've been suing me for it for the past 8 years. Everytime I've gone to court there's always atleast 10 other people there who had the same thing happen to them. Do yourself a favor and find an apprenticeship instead of wasting your money at this "school".Braeden M.

You wont get an engineering degree from here. You'll be a technician. You will never get an engineering degree from here. They don't have it on the website, you can look everywhere on it. There's no truth to the website. They overcharge you and don't teach you what youre paying for. For the price you pay, you should learn a lot more. I can not recommend enough not to go here. The administration is a joke, the amount of absolute asinine rules that are put on place make this place nearly unbearable. If you’re considering this school please put your money elsewhere. You’ll be charged $40,000 a year just to have a sub par education. Food is said to be good but is close to inedible. Today was a day in the books it was day 4 of temp issues. The air conditioning has been blowing continuously on top of our heads in the classroom causing myself to get sick triggers my sinus issues in addition to outdoor temperatures not exceeding 58 degrees. When addressed to correct personnel today at day 4 after going to instructors thursday and friday nothing was expressed or resolved concretely. Today [Tuesday] the issue was addressed, however the attendance clerk interrupted the Director of Nursing program while on an alleged conference call; although in font of witnesses I asked her to have Ms Amanda speak with me when she was finish and what class I was in. Ms Amanda barged into our classroom, interrupting our lecture like an angry tyrant yelling about thermostat issues, as if comfortable learning conditions weren't warranted. I was trying to explain but of course she wanted to exit the class and I followed as she asked. We get to the office and before i can say anything she turns to me and begins to spew off at me, I say woah woah woah relax! I was offended by her disposition, I am a student trying to learn and there are obstacles hindering me with distractions of temperatures being set at 40degrees. It was then expressed to me lies because she wasn't aware I had already taken steps of chain of command before addressing the issue. She was very dismissive and condescending and although I had layers of clothing on already, I asked why they couldn't inform us of the misfunctioning of thermostat issues. Amanda states she "doesnt have the time with all the other things she has to do" instead of properly informing students who pay tuition MONTHLY of the inclement temperature within the learning environment. I was assertive in my rebuttal and state "isn't that your job" but of course that makes her angry, and in retaliation she threatens to reprimand me with a verbal warning, then proceeded to dismiss me to class pointing her finger like i was her adolescent child (excuse me) I'm perplexed as to who cares about the students, as we are being taught by so called nurses who obviously lack training in higher education and it shows. Allow Amanda didnt have time to properly inform us of the civility of the happy medium of learning temperatures she had the time to be condescending as usual and make a mockery show us how our uniforms should be worn. For the life of me, it baffles me with what they have time for when they arent blowing smoke up your….TaySlick

I attended the Lincoln tech nursing program in Lincoln Rhode Island. My experience there was alright. I did feel like a few of the mods I had to just read the book because in mod 2 we had a teacher start out teaching the mod and then someone else came and made the test and it was nothing we were taught. In mod 4 we had a teacher accept another job and she was supposed to finish out our mod she kept missing our classes and she would be teaching us chapters way in advanced we would be testing on chapters 10,12,15,16,17 and would be learning chapters 30-35. I can tell you this I did have some teachers that were amazing. Mrs Avelar was the best one she was there if I had any questions. I can also say when I decided to start pursuing my RN Melissa Gosset contacted me and asked me what I needed for her and offered to run through info with me. I graduated in December of 2019 shortly before the pandemic began. I never got to have a graduation ceremony we ended up with a cheap “virtual” graduation that just showed our name on a power point that someone read off of. I received a tassel for the wrong year in the mail. I never received my lantern. None of us were able to participate in the graduation yet they had one person who actually worked there participate. The final straw has been that NO ONE will accept their credits. I am not able to transfer anything over to any school accept another technical school. I want my Nurse practitioner and don’t wish to attend another technical school. When I met with admissions I was told they were accredited and that I would be able to transfer credits to other colleges and that is far from the truth. Funny I called corporate before I posted this review and had to leave a message and never received a call back. But after I posted it in google I receive a reply. Why because you had to explain why you are misleading? Still not being truthful!Rebecca Spencer

I am a post grad nursing student. I will say Lincoln Tech had a very solid, strict, and structured nursing program when I attended the school. Mary Ben who is no longer with Lincoln was a tough but great director or nursing students who ran a tight ship. I found the staff to be helpful during my time there. Now that I am a graduate I can’t believe how unhelpful this school is, I have called about info regarding LPN to RN program, received no help, I called requesting my transcript, was not assisted. What Lincoln tech doesn’t tell you as a nursing student is that majority schools will not accept Lincoln’s credits because there not actual credits for the classes that we worked so hard to pass, they are hours achieved in the classroom. Now that I am trying to do my RN I’m almost having to retake the entire nursing corse over which is devastating and frustrating to me. Don’t get me wrong becoming an LPN has changed my life for the better in so many ways an is still a very rewarding career. However, a few years into the field I now want to do more and it’s almost impossible due to the credential situation. Just be aware when choosing your nursing school, so you don’t run into the same problem I’m having. Other than that Lincoln tech was a good nursing program while I attended.larissa cirino

I just graduated from the CNA/HHA program a few weeks ago and I can say that I had a great experience. My teacher Wendy was great and she helped me and the other girls get thru it. At times I thought I couldn't do it but she always motivated us and was always positive. She called us future baby Nurses. Our group of girls were amazing and the teacher made it fun to learn. I am so happy I got the opportunity to go to school here. This is not a big school its small but you will get a very good training. I will recommend this school to my friends and family for sure, plus you get free parking which is a must. IngridIngrid Bell

I had such an amazing experience at the Fieldstone School. Not only did I get all the education I need to get my CNA, but also made such great connections with my fellow students and my teacher. Miss Wendy was my teacher, I graduated about 2-3 months ago now and we are still in contact. I have my first job as a CNA, she’s always checking up on my seeing how I’m doing, how the job is going. I’ve never came across a teacher who has truly cared so much about her students. I recommend this school to ANYONE interested in the healthcare field. The Fieldstone School is definitely the place to go. From the staff who helps with everything from the first day of admissions, the entrance exam to the CPR class, they are all the best. I started in January in dental assisting and everything was well until March when they laid my teacher off, no explanantion, we were fending for ourselves and nobody would tell us what's going on or why it was happening. The vice president was rude in a response email to a fellow classmate. I feel as if I've wasted time and tons of money as it's a rip off of what i signed up for. Unprofessional attitudes and never having answers, always leaving us hanging and wondering what they will do to us next. It's truly saddening. This school has failed to communicate on why they treat staff and students poorly. Or why they have been doing what they're doing. They makes tons of money so why take our teacher away multiple times and leave us with a stranger who doesn't teach how ours did? Learning online is already difficult and we weren't considered when they decided to "lay her off" basically. They only seem to care about the money and they aren't very professional when it comes to running a company. They're sneaky and will do anything to their advantage.. i'm aware of what goes on. We never got answers and now my teacher is taken away from me once again. I'm told I can't have answers and we are once again left to be taught by a principal who knows nothing about dental. We've been fighting for answers on our own and not one person has given us answers on how we can succeed well when we weren't taught properly. As if COVID isn't enough this school had been selfish and only caring about what's good for them. Hencing why teachers left and students aren't happy with what they have been doing. My voice seems to never be heard but I won't stop until I get answers. Mrs.C is an amazing person who bent over backwards for this school and has been treated like trash along with me and my fellow classmates. Went here for electrical. It was a complete wast of time, DO NOT come here if you wan to become an electrician. Our instructor clearly chose favorites and was just generally not friendly, was even borderline sexist. Our lab lacked new equipment and sometimes didn’t have enough for the students. The curriculum definitely needed work, with powerpoints often being one or two code cycles behind (one was from 2002!), and sometimes tests/quizzes would be graded based on that code cycle and not the current one. And last, when I graduated I was PROMISED a job. I was hired by an agency that I will not name, but since I was hired two weeks ago they have not sent me to one job site. I tried looking for other electrical jobs, but everyone is looking for 2-4 year apprentices, not ones who just graduated. One of the independent electrical contractors I went with even said that he has heard nothing but bad things about this school. Same thing with the electrical contractor my cousin worked for at the time, she said no one wants to hire graduates from that school because everyone knows it’s a bad school. Long story short, don’t wast 30 grand. Avoid this place.lonely pancake

My son is set to graduate from Porter and Chester in Worcester very soon. Automotive is tough enough, but throw in COVID and a few other unforeseen circumstances and we have one hell of a 2020. From beginning to end these people have been nothing but professional and extremely caring and kind. (human). Mike Mello our admissions director was so helpful, showing us the school, explaining the programs and has a real human side. He was witty and animated and we were hooked after meeting just him. Then we were introduced to Dwayne Jeffers who talked to us about our financial aid options and helped us work out a plan to attend school. Glenn Hartland the school's Director has been on top of all communication since COVID started, making sure the kids work is done, working with the teachers, setting up Zoom classes, just an all around professional good guy. Anyone interested in a trade school to either further their education or if you are a young adult getting started I highly suggest you reach out to Porter and Chester ( Worcester Campus) and talk to these people.Lisa Howard

I have been a volunteer since last summer. I wanted to spend my free time with elderly in a non paying capacity just visiting and listening to stories of the past. I used to work as a nurses aide in my youth so I empathize with the staff and their nursing responsibilities. I have found the staff to be very courteous and attentive. I have sat with patients in the smaller dining facilities and impressed by the efforts to get residents to eat well and balanced meals. The food looks home made and appetizing. The front lobby has iced water with lemon slices and fresh coffee for visitors and residents all day long so it almost as nice as visiting someone at home. The personal private space is small but not any different than any other facility. This seems to be the hardest adjustment for residents who have lived independently in their own homes. The facilities are immaculate and there is no odor. We all know that isn't always the case in a facility. I've seen a few "oops" moments with residents and the staff is quick and efficient to get the situation cleaned up and privacy protected for the resident. Very discreet staff and I am proud that they honor resident privacy. Very guarded about their residents as if their own family. There is love in this building which is why I keep returning for more. This is a happy place with lovely grounds – a garden and gazebo as well as an on site chapel with eastern orthodox icons. This is where I would like to spend my golden years when the time arrives and recommend it for your family too.Heidi Anderson

I've been a resident of Holy Trinity Rehabilitation And Nursing Center since May of 2022! I will admit this place is very kind friendly and hospitable I love it here I love the people the nurses the doctors the staff even the kitchen staff!! They give you extras if you ask nicely hint hint!! Facility is very well kept and maintained I would rate it a five-star on cleanliness and neatness and appearance!! When I was staying the walls were being repainted and the ceiling tiles being replaced so they are evolving for a 20 year old facility of healing!! There technology of tvs needs a bit of improvement but are fine for now!! I love the physical therapy people who got me back up and running are PHENOMENAL AND ANGELS IN HUMAN BODIES!! As a short term patient, and a young spastic stroke survivor, my impression of HolyTrinity rehabilitation and nursing healthcare facility: I am grateful and highly impressed by the outstanding nursing, nurses’ assistants, and personal care assistants. They are a major part of my recovery as they are proven experts in rehabilitation. The Occupational therapist and physical therapist works well for me in my road of recovery from significant stoke recovery setback by a fall. My Grandmother is currently staying at this facility. The nursing staff is fabulous !! They even allowed us to bring her dog inside for a visit. Her room is very clean, they serve large meals multiple times per day, have many areas to relax, and allow us to visit any time. I, however, can not say the same for some of the front desk office staff everyone must visit before entering. Upon our entrance today, I received atrocious service from Michelle Jordan who stated she was the Office Manager. My father and I both needed to take Covid tests to enter. Mind you, we have done this multiple times and it's no big deal to us. Michelle wanted my elderly combat wounded father to figure out how to test himself because she openly admitted she did not want to find a pair of gloves to wear in order to perform her job function in a medical establishment. I showed my frustration when she got rude with my father for not understanding. I then sat and waited for the results with my father in the lobby. I discuss with him how unprofessional this woman is in this type of establishment. We are coming to visit my sick 94 year old Grandmother. She then decided to open the window and berate me loudly because she was eavesdropping on the conversation between myself and my father. I then tell her she is unprofessional, and at this point she began pointing her finger at me. Then she had the nerve to walk to all of the offices around us and talk about us to other employees loudly in an effort for us to hear her doing so. If it were not for Michelle ruining our visit with our sick family member, I would give a five star rating. The staff helping my Grandmother really does go above and beyond, and they do not deserve the lower rating due to the unprofessionalism of one person.Rachel Wayne

I am here for rehab. Spinal Injury motorcycle accident I am 37 years. Well aware of my surroundings. The rehab I received was the bare minimum. They had no knowledge for spinal injury rehab. The lack of care from the POOL/ AGENCY NURSES and CNA is RIDICULOUSLY AWFUL Have not received received my medication on multiple occasions. The pool nurses would lie and mark it down as a REFUSAL. These 3rd world educated pool nurses and cna, can not comprehend a word what they are saying in English half the time. They can barley comprehend my responses there is a huge language barrier. BERKSHIRE Nursing STAFF on my floor is knowledgeable. If you love and care for your loved ones do not bring them to this facility. The facility takes in people from the street that are addicts. The food is always cold small portions no flavor at all. Have been in this facility for 9 months have not once consumed there food. It is unedible.Aminesh Patel

What an amazing place! I was very hesitant at first sending my loved one here from other prior nursing home experiences, but I only have amazing things to say about Berkshire Place. The nursing staff is always so welcoming and on top of my family members care. My loved one is on a lot of Lasix and they made sure she was always changed and dry.(past nursing home would leave her in a wet brief that would soak thru onto the wheelchair they would have her sit all day). Even the kitchen is so accommodating and I only have amazing things to say about their Rehab team. They are always so pleasant and engaging with the patients. I am so relieved that I sent my family member here knowing she’s is getting the best care possible.Tiago Costa
