Don't make the same mistake I did , I took the auto collision at Okefenokee Tech in Waycross,Ga and from the first day I had nothing but trouble and one problem after another . first with registering for class I registered before the dead line and when I showed up foor class I wasn't processed I had to re register then they had the nerve to charge me sixty five dollars in late fee's. And now for the class or wanna be a class which is a joke because the teacher didn't know 90-98% of what he was suppose to teach us I'd ask questions on how to use tools or how to repair and the only answer I got out of him 99% of the time was I don't know so please DON'T come to this school save your money and/or go to another tech school..Jarrett Kirchman

Very happy with the LPN program here. I went to the Golden Isles campus. But took a few prerequisite and online classes here as well. Small class room sizes, teachers actually care if you show up and want you to succeed. I attended a previous school and in comparison this LPN program really breaks down concepts and you get so much clinical time, it’s nice to connect and see physically what you read about in the book & get hands on. Also Mrs. Teresa Henry.. best instructor. She pushes you yet encourages and believes in you. I could rave all day, money well spent at this school!kathryn postin

I attended Southeastern University and it was one of the most horrible experiences I’ve ever had to go through. I attended an extension site through them. I received all A’s, the courses were elementary but the communication with the school was horrible and something I’ve never seen before from a school. The counselors hardly ever answer the phone, it’s almost like hunting them down which is somewhat hard to do being at an extension site in a different state. And when you do get a hold of someone, they have no idea what theyre talking about and I was also being told different things because nobody knew 100% what they were being paid to know. This did not feel like a university what so ever and I wish I saved my time and money because all honestly, this school seemed like a scam. The financial aid department also was a huge headache. They gave me an award letter and based on that letter I decided to attend the school. Months later, they changed my awarded amount without notifying me and I didn’t find out until halfway through the semester. I never received the refund I was supposed to receive and I actually ended up owing them money on top of the loans they already took from me. All I got was a sorry for not notifying me and although they accepted responsibility on making a mistake, I was helped in no kind of way. When the fall semester ended, I couldn’t wait to run out of there and go enroll in a real school that actually is helpful in some sort of way. Update 7.25 Finally there and super happy. In the end they are coming through for the Masters Program. Looking forward to parents weekend drop off. More posts to come. Update 7.12.22 I still love this school for my kid but have been less than impressed with my own experience getting into Masters program for Nursing. It's been a rough go with little to no communication. I hope its just because its a new program but a month out from when my daughter starts in fall and still know nothing about my program, what classes, cost or when it starts. I'll post an update when I find out more. I hate lowering my rating but have to due to my experience so far. Amazing campus. I went on a visit for my kid and I want to go. I studied business marketing here and graduated 2016/17. As a transfer senior, I get there were some complications. That said, it was a nightmare getting classes covered. Classes were dull, mainly because students don't engage much. Most professors were not open to much discussion or further exploration of topics, which was odd, especially with my experience at other universities. The campus is nice, but I found the education and experience desperately needing much more. I like the Christian feel, but even that is a bit off. To be blunt, students here are almost worse than the public university I was at. It's just got a cultish feel. This coming from a very strong Christian, just to clarify that perspective. I sent my residency information two weeks ago and nothing is in my file! Classes start today but I can’t start because they have tuition as out of state. Also they had to have my JU transcripts as if the credits transferred because of a policy. I’m no longer going to this school. It’s bootleg and ghetto. Online school at Saint Johns river state is especially a scam but all the saint johns state college schools are trash. This is my Story: Being an International Student at Santa Fe College is the worst thing that can happen to you. Besides that your tuition is 3 times more just for being an immigrant, they don't offer scholarships. Why we are not allow to get help? because we are just seem as a profit. Also, we do not get the benefit to choose how many classes we want to take because we are "required" to be full-time. We can only take one class online for semester. This post is about my tuition and what they did to me at Santa Fe. I apply for a student loan because I couldn't pay the ridiculous amount of money, but what happened is that the "amazing people" at financial aid didn't processed my loan, so my classes got drop. I talked with everyone at Santa Fe for help, even trying a payment plan but the last day to add/drop classes just passed. I brought all my papers signed of my loan to financial aid, and they told me that nothing can be done to help me. They just play with me sending me to person to person making lose my time and nobody helped me. Whenever I went to cashier's office and told what my situation was this lady after treating me horrible told me "we don't care about your situation, we just need the $6,000 today or you can start saying "goodbye" to your visa. I feel really glad about the help that they didn't give me, by the end of this semester I am going to be back in Venezuela because they did nothing to help me keep my visa status. SF College is nice and affordable for local kids; however, they are not at all equipped to handle international students' concerns. Staff that students interact on a day to day basis are made up of mostly underpaid student workers, and their answer to every question is a default "No". It is really frustrating. You can immediately see and feel the difference between this small state college and your typical large, internationally experienced university. Nonetheless, in-house faculty do a decent job teaching courses. I can't say the same about Santa Fe's adjunct instructors. Some are truly clueless (though it is not their fault; poor adjunct instructors are so underpaid that it made my jaw drop when I heard how much they make per semester). As a student who wants to actually learn the material, your best bet would be to register early for courses based on the instructors offering them. Overall, Santa Fe College is an affordable stepping stone to a larger University, such as their next door neighbor UF. I suppose it would also be a nice option for regional kids from lower to middle-income families. But that's about all the credit I can give to Santa Fe College. Culturally, it is lacking diversity. Went there in 2012 right after HS from Orlando. I went there to hopefully transfer to UF. The system failed me. The guidance counselors did nothing to guide me, I got depressed there and failed. I was a very good student in high school(top 5% with both IB and AP-full coursework) until 12th grade a personal event happened and I stopped attending and starting failing but still graduated. This is why I had to go to SF college as my gpa dropped to be able to to to UF. I had a 2030 on the SAT in HS as well. I was highly able to do well at SF but they failed me by not giving proper guidance or support and it ruined my whole college career as they didn’t accept my appeals for late withdrawal and I was stuck with a horrible GPA that ruined my life.Anonymous Someone

I have had an amazing experience with Herzing University! I am excelling in my degree choice and I couldn't be more satisfied with my learning experience and the flexibility that the online program gives me.The instructors are all willing to help whenever I have a question, and if they see many students struggling with something, they will post an announcement with some helpful tips on how to proceed through our courses. The learning material is easy to understand, the discussion boards really help me connect with my classmates more than I normally would, the library is full of everything you might need for your studies, and the Coach rooms and Tutoring center are very helpful! I have seen many posts off and on about how students struggled in this school. I have to say the most common thing I see students struggling from in these courses is not doing the assigned work on time, not participating in the discussions, and not following the assigned directions on assignments. We have to take responsibility and do our work (on time!) or we will not succeed, and we should not blame someone else for our lack of trying. Just with everything else in life, if you do not put any effort into something, you will not gain anything from it. I stared with Herzing back in 2013 for my undergrad BSN RN. At that time, school was still establishing itself, therefore, I had some rough time getting through the program, but overall my experience was good. This year I came back for my MSN FNP and let me tell you ))) My experience with Herzing in 2019 is absolutely amazing. This school grew so much! Lots of support, any time you need it, everyone is very attentive and friendly. You still have to do a lots of studying, but isn't what we came here for? We actually don't visit the college but the bay that's right beside the college. We are from Illinois and every vacation we come to this area. I'm not sure what the name of the bay area is but it's always easy to locate because of nearness to the college. My grandkids love coming here and I feel they are safe because the water is pretty shallow till about 20 feet out which gives them opportunities to wade and look for sand crabs. The college itself reminds me of my hometown college. Not too big and well designed. I like the fact it's spread over the block area. I feel like this school is robbing my GI benefits by telling me I “need” a class, then the next semester they tell me I didn’t need the class. I have 49 credit hours but was just told that 16 of those were ones I didn’t need. How is that possible? Even the VA approved of the classes, but now all of a sudden they are classes I didn’t need. Horrible experience!! Everybody is supposed to be young adults however my daughter was bullied and they did nothing!!! Correction, when my daughter made threats to her tormentors so they would back off the school had a officer call me and she began yelling at me, really verbally assulting me about how bad of a mother I was! This woman was completely disrespectful. They called DCF on me and the guy who shows up at my house says the principle remarked that I sounded lethargic during our phone call which made me feel like she was suggesting that I didn't care or was high (which btw I am a single mom working a full time job overnight while school personnel are sleeping only to come home in enough time to get my kids ready and off to school before I can sleep!!!!!😑) 2 days after the incident they removed my daughter from school and baker acted (put her in a mental institution against her will) her!!! They told me this after they did it so I had to find her. At least the male officer who took her to the institution was careful with his words and respectful towards me. She was alone and scared in a locked room for 2 days without her shoestrings, bra (her underwire is considered a weapon) or phone before being evaluated and immediately released after their psych doctor found nothing wrong with her. It was tearfully agonizing for us; Meanwhile her bullies got to remain in school UNPUNISHED and the school personnel involved never apologized for what they put us through. The end result was another blow to her confidence and ability to trust people and she stopped going to classes to get prepared for her GED. Please consider our nightmare before enrolling your child as this was the best path they chose to handle my child's situation. I went in today on April 20th to register for school the man at front desk was not a greeter of new students at all. He was on the phone and acted as if his personal phone conversation was more important than being of any assistance to providing me with what the school offered. He wasn't informative of what the school offered. I went to ask he a question and he acted as if I was a bother too him while being rude to others as he spoke to them. This college was amazing before COVID. It was even amazing during COVID. But something has happened in the past year with administration causing this place to change for the worst leaving me frustrated. I was supposed to graduate in May 2021. I got to know the lady at the front desk during this time in January. She left and I got to know the other guy at the front desk. Then he left so I got to know the next lady. Then two weeks ago I was told she was gone. My adviser was helping me last fall. Then out of nowhere she left and I got another one. Then she left and I got another one. I then asked to speak to a supervisor and he helped get me ready for graduation. Then he left and I had to talk to another supervisor. She told me she was only a temporary supervisor and there would be another new one. I finally got connected to the lady in charge of graduation but guess what. She left right before graduation. So I got stuck taking another class I didn't need in the fall and delaying graduation by six months. I signed up for this class in April and found out the day before classes started that it was canceled! I called and talked to every person before finally hearing why, the teacher quit the day before classes started. What is wrong with this place that so many people are quitting and getting fired? Not the best school, but a good choice for many students. NWFSC is a very small school, so you shouldn't expect it to be amazing. That said, they do a good job with what they have, and they have been growing by leaps and bounds in the years that I've lived here. Generally, most students will like the school, but most intend to go to another college at some point. I particularly love the library. This is one area where being a small school is an advantage; the staff is very helpful, and will get to know you if you go there often. It has a great atmosphere and is the best place on campus to read, study, or get work done. One complaint that everyone has is the school's computer system, which is being "improved" very, very, slowly. It is not unusual for the websites to go down and for the email system to be uncooperative. Luckily, the staff has the same problems as the students, so professors are generally understanding if online work doesn't get turned in on time.Nick Zimmermann

So many negative reviews, so here is a positive one. We all know college is hard especially as an adult with work and medical problems. Recently i had a Spinal tap done and have been recovering for the last few days, i missed my biology class, which if you have to take biology use Dr McAurthur hes amazing, and now im missing my English course due to post op side effects. My professors are all very understanding and accommodating during this! registration was a breeze, book purchase process was a bit crazy, but even that was sorted out with ease. My advisor is amazing as is the entire admin staff at Raider Central. the bookstore and Cafe employees are doing their best to get things done in a timely manner with shortages, and illnesses everyone is amazing, i have yet to have a negative thing happen since starting my degree! I appreciate Rasmussen University for having an abundance of resources and many professors and other staff members who demonstrate they want students to succeed. I especially have enjoyed being a peer educator, being privileged to work with Tammy Hopps who is an excellent supervisor and leader, and also being able to work with other peer educators who care for their peers as much as I do. I transferred from a local state college, which I considered sticking with to save money, but in reality, not much is saved when you compare the timeframe for graduation. At the state college it would take me an extra 2 whole years to receive my BSN, whereas at Rasmussen I save 2 years of time because of their second-degree BSN option. I am very pleased with the quality of technology – at the state school blackboard and other resources were slow and did not work as well on my cell phone, whereas with Rasmussen I can easily access everything I need from my phone when I'm on the go. It's inspiring to see so many single parents and married parents in school, some of which also work full time or part time like myself while completing their degree. I had such high hopes when enrolling at this school. However my experience hasn't been favorable at all. I am a current student and I was disappointed because even though I was able to enroll and start classes I really felt unsupported on this journey. I'm realizing Rasmussen may not be the school for me. I REALLY thought I would be supported and encouraged. I was made to feel that Rasmussen would be rooting for me through my academic journey. Instead I am bombarded with emails and calls telling me what I already know… I owe money. No calls or emails about how I can be helped to budget so that I can pay more toward the balance. I'm only being told: what I owe, to get the balance down to $500-$1000 and to take out loans; which will only put me in debt and it's too early to be taking out loans when I've been in school since September of 2021 and have 2 more years. Also this school doesn't cater to single parents, limited income and individuals that HAVE to work. This morning I called the university for the North Orlando Campus for the Nursing program and spoke to the director of Nursing who was discusstingly rude on the phone. I called to get information, He had no patience and told me Not to proceed a career in Nursing because it was Not for me. This school makes you want to give up on Pursuing a degree. I have never had so much trouble, issues or headaches dealing with any other school like I have this one. You are treated very poorly by most, close to all of the employees. There has been multiple times they requested information for my financial aid and my transcripts and every time I go in and turn the information they still say they didn’t receive it until I have to argue with them and then it’s “oh I have it right here” I was supposed to start classes MONTHS ago and every time I think I’m there they pull something else out the hat. I went in weeks ago to turn in my additional verification for financial aid and then walk in a week before classes start just for them to tell me “ oh we don’t have it you need to fill it out again” after some pushing they take the time to search and find out they do have it and it never was submitted. Now I have the school calling me because classes are about to start asking for money because they haven’t heard from financial aid and trying to drop me from starting my class because of their mistake. I call financial aid then they tell me oh we can’t help you because it doesn’t look like you have ever been enrolled (I have my student ID and my class schedule by the way and enrolled for early child care management) and that I need to contact admissions. I call them only to be met with such disrespectful employees with no sympathy in helping with the problem. Finally was told a supervisor would call me back and never heard from her. This school is a complete let down and makes you just want to give up like your fighting a losing battle. If I ever get to start my first class I’m scared to see how the teachers are considering out of the many people I’ve talked to there maybe only 1-2 that was kind of decent or slightly helpful. They offer higher education at an affordable cost. Get your stuff done months before open registration so you're not stressing last minute! They offer and try to bring "the student life" to campus. REMINDER this is NOT A UNIVERSITY – so they can only offer you so much with sports, clubs, and programs due to funding but what they have is good. They do offer lots of programs, scholarships, and dual enrollment courses. I've had a great experience with Polk State Winter Haven for the past years. If you have no idea what to major in they will say stick with AA liberal arts (general courses) so you can transfer to a 4 year UNI. The campus is easy to navigate for first time students. This does not have 5 stars due to the cafeteria/event hours. What they offer for morning/day students is a lot more then what they offer for evening/night students. Professors overall are great. The staff at the WH campus is entirely unhelpful. They give you wrong information every time you have an issue that needs to be addressed. Most professors I’ve had at WH PSC campus have been rude and not helpful. The professors at the JD Alexander Center are much more helpful, understanding and nice to work with. The advisors at the JD Alexander Center are amazing, Faith and Warren are so helpful and kind. PSC has double charged me for tuition every semester; I’ll pay the amount of tuition I am responsible for (as I use FL Prepaid) and then the same amount of money I’m responsible for will be taken out of my student loans even though the remainder of tuition has already been paid for. I don’t have the easiest time getting someone from Financial Aid on the phone, and I have yet to receive an answer as to why I’m being double charged for tuition, semester after semester.Toni G

A lack of compassion Waited for over an hour, was called up and told to wait a little longer for someone who could accommodate with my request. Sat back down and when I approached 20 minutes after to inquire regarding the waiting time, was asked to sit down in one of the two chairs to discuss my reason for visiting. They asked my name, then proceeded to taunt me by assuming my age was older several times, guessing random ages, before giving me a chance to answer their question "How old are you?" Proceeded to degrade me in front of others when looking for options on a list to finish the next step for starting college, then said "Well..we are trying.." with a sarcastic and frustrated tone of voice, when I didn't have one of the necessary second documents shown on the list. The advisor made me feel absolutely worthless. Felt horrible when leaving the room and left with a feeling that I was far too old with no other options, than to be attending their college grounds. Will keep note to discuss the Wise account and any other details with another advisor, should I encounter this specific advisor again. The Spring Hill campus is the absolute worst of all of the campuses and I’d steer clear of them, opting for the Brooksville campus instead. They’re insanely disorganized, and trying to speak to someone is like pulling teeth. Even when you do speak to someone, they give you the run around. I’ve request for my transcripts to be sent on numerous occasions, dating back to May/April and my school STILL hasn’t received them. I’ve called multiple times to all different departments to resolve this issue; financial aid, for an advisor and eventually, to the student activities department. I regretfully didn’t ask for their name, but they took my information and said they’d take it to the person in charge of transcripts and that they’d be calling me back within the next two business days. Those business days came and went and I never received a phone call. I called the North campus instead and thankfully had the pleasure of speaking with Lidia, who allowed my family member to pick up my transcripts in person and just mail them to me. This campus is awful and no amount of free food or mediocre events will be able to fix that.N/A

Terrible I got dropped from one of my classes for no reason when I did my work on time and when I contacted the teacher Dr.ray asking why I was dropped and all she said was that I havn't done work and lied to me saying she hasn't seen assignment turned in since feb 15 saying its been six weeks even if that was the case wich it is not due to the break and the virus you would think you would get some courtesy I continue to contact the dean and her boss and was complety ignored not very surpising smh been going to PHSC for 2 years now and dissapointed being lied to a deceived. Already hired a lawyer to take PHSC to court due to the fact I depend on being a full time student to receive my VA benefeits now this Dr.ray teacher ( I think a doctor in being rude and in considerate) anyway don't take dr.ray classes. I furthered and completed my education at City College. I achieved my Associates Degree in Paralegal / Legal Assisting in 2017 and took a year off and now I am one Semester away from achieving my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a focus in Project Management! I have been able to utilize every resource offered by City College. First off it’s like a place of refuge where I not only go to learn but get away from life. The Professors are always willing to give freely of their time to assist in achieving my goals. Career Services door is always opened, it’s through their highly recommended services that I obtained my current job as a Trial Specialist II. Furthermore, when I was seeking a promotion I went back for a mock interview and help with updating my resume, they are always ready, will, and, able to help. Financial aid stays on top of budgeting out the money to make it all possible. My peers are in bearable age range, not too young, and not too old. We as a student body in my classes worked to achieve our same achievements. I have made some people here at City College that will remain my friends forever. My last and final goal would be to become an Ambassador but seems a little more challenging for students in the evening class program. I have been trying to be an Ambassador during my Associates years but to no avail. I will keep trying! Go for it, give it your all, City College is the way to go!!!Yolanda Ried

If I could give this school 0 stars I would. This school is a joke. No one is on the same page when it comes to anything. They do not reach out to the students when there is an issue. The student only finds out when it is almost too late. If it wasn't for the fact that I am almost done with the program and Dr. Luka (One of the best things going for City College) I would have quit a long time ago. I am taking classes that does not make sense to me. The financial aid department is a joke. You speak to three different people and get three different answers. I hate coming to this school, but I am too far ahead. So many professors have come and gone. You are marked absent if you leave class early although they don't start on time due to the fact that you are waiting on students that arrive late. I am counting down the days until this is all over as I have had just about enough of this school. Everyone is so warm welcoming in the beginning but once you sign up and they meet there quota for attendance and seat filling, you are nothing to them. I entered City College not knowing what to expect. So today I can tell you I high recommend. City College a very humble environment. It makes you feel at home. I come from a very culturally diverse background and I feel like City College understands that. The faculty and admin staff were very committed to the success of each cohort and were very helpful each step of the way. There are so many interesting courses taught by amazing and qualified professors. The professors for the classes I have taken thus far have been pretty great overall with a thorough understanding of their subject and concern for student's success. Medical Assistant program is awesome. It is perfectly well conceived and easy to follow. As a good student you just need to follow the guide and your professors' advises. I consider I have learned a lot and improved my whole knowledge, not only about medical field but in general. I'd be very wary with this school. They don't pay the teachers for their full work. Instead ONLY pay them for the time they're with students and none of the prep. I don't know how this is legal, but it's robbing the students of an adequate education, and exploiting the teachers hard work. High turn over rate. The place is poorly run and managed. A lot of misinformation. The school lacks a lot of basic supplies to teach, and lacked even a first aid kit.Willie Garcia

I am the parent of a student. I am very disappointed in the graduation venue they chose for these students who have worked so hard. First off everyone is talking through the ceremony, the sound system horrible, and awful old school auditorium. How disrespectful to the students to provide such a venue. I went to the Nursing program here after being CNA for several years, attending the program and getting licensed was the best decision I have ever made. The professors and instructors were very supportive. I graduated from the ADN Program here at Fortis and passed NCLEX a couple months after on the first try. My experience at Fortis was amazing. The nursing staff gave me the tools and knowledge I needed to prepare and sit for boards. I’d be lying if I said the journey was easy but it wasn’t. It was tough but not impossible. Nursing is no joke and one must really have a passion for it to be successful. There will be moments where you feel like giving up but that’s when you reach deep down inside of you and remember the reason you started in the first place. Every single nursing staff is there to help whenever needed. The professors may seem tough and Dean Lue but only because they truly care and want to see you succeed. I can’t forget about my fellow colleagues with whom I shared my experience with and who played a part in my success as well from the study groups we had to the late evenings practicing together on the mannequins for Capstone, it was worth it. I currently attend Fortis for Medical Billing and Coding. I feel like this was one of the best investments I have made. The teachers here truly care about the students and their success. I look forward to each day with enthusiasm. I feel that I am gaining the knowledge and skills that I will need to be successful in my career. I recently graduated from Fortis Institute. I was in the Dental Assistant program. The teachers are awesome teachers, they are willing to give you a extra hand when you need. The teachers are very helpful and go the extra mile if you are struggling with the material in class. I attended the phlebotomy course here at Cambridge. Heidi was very pleasant, she helped me understand the courses and enroll in the one that made the most since for me. Dr Tobias was my instructor, he was very knowledgeable, engaging, and took the time to make sure that we fully understood the course material. Mrs Pam popped in to assist when we started doing live sticks and that helped us all feel more confident. Renae works in the library and she wad helpful in setting up my card key and national technical honor society. Also just any questions we had about the school process she was able to answer. Mr Gabriel randomly popped in so many times just to say hi and make sure we all were comfortable and had everything we needed.. Then there was Theresa and Carmen who taught us how to interview well and helped us with our resumes. Theresa had many many connections for job placement, in fact I was hired on at adventhealth within the first week of my graduation. I hadn't even taken my NHA yet. Theresa and Carmen were constantly following up with me and them and helping in any way they could. I passed the course and the NHA with an exceptionally high grade and felt very confident in interviewing for my new role. The point of this very long review is that they are a family there and you will have a very strong support team at literally every step of your journey with them. I was very excited to attend Cambridge , spoke with Heidi to get everything started . I came in for orientation , signed all documents for them to get paid .I paid my admissions fee . A day before my start date I was called to tell me I wasn’t able to start school due to not being accepted in the school . So I’m confused on to why would you have to sign Paperwork just for her to call me and say I cannot start school so and that mindset that showed me that the school only cared about money I just getting their admission numbers accurate. This was the end January 6th . I went Multiple Times in January February to get my $50 admission fee back I was told on several occasions that I was not able to get it back I spoke to the Director of a school which assured me that I will get my $50 back back where they did not follow protocol by making sure I was able to go to the school before they had me sign all of the information.Heidi is very rude and only cares about numbers which is very unacceptable,she pretends to care about her job and making sure everything goes well but in reality she did nothing to help me . Still didn’t receive anything and still going on circles ! I’m not pleased or happy about even trying attend this school .ashanti deshazo

I’m a former student at Cambridge in the Altamonte location, I was in the MA program and I just wanna say they are an amazing school. Starting off with the administration staff, there very respectful and make the whole process as smoothly as possible. As far as my instructor Pamela Gyce she has nearly 30 years of experience in the field. It was a pleasure being in her class, she makes sure the class is on the same page. There is no favoritism whether you’re old or young she treats everyone with the most respect. She’s more than just an instructor Mrs.Gyce will always motivate and encourage you, if you have a goal she will do her best to help you reach it. Very professional and heart warming lady. The school has absolutely been ran down into the ground. It was bad when I was there but now it's even worse. As a graduating student I suggest you spend your money elsewhere because it is not worth the hassle, the time, or the broken promises that are promised to you before graduating School. As a graduating student I was promised that I would be able to go back to the school whenever I was able to have the time to during the classes or the labs to be able to practice well lo and behold that is by far not the truth. And to receive comments of it's paying students before graduating students is unacceptable and very unprofessional. That sounds like discrimination at his best and I am still waiting a call back from the dean to be able to discuss the matter. Which I still have not received a call back. Not only have all the best teachers left the school, but they have also pushed away a lot of good teachers that should still be there. A lot has changed even since when I was going there but to be honest a lot has changed to where I don't want to go back even as a graduating student to be able to practice for where I need to be.Rachel Phillips

Halfway through my program which cost 20k they decided to switch to online learning. Of course using COVID as an excuse but this came probably the day after the governor lifted the mandates. This is after falsely advertising “hands on” education. I tried to switch classes explaining that it is very difficult to learn a skilled trade on a computer screen and was sent to the dean. She very kindly told me that if I didn’t like it I could just drop out. Leaving me financially responsible for a degree I didn’t receive and knowledge I did not learn. Two weeks into these hybrid classes the instructor sleeps at his desk the days we are in class and today he never showed. If you care about your education and money run away from this place. They enroll you on all these promises of a wonderful school. What you really get is old dirty buildings. Overcrowded classrooms. Antique tools and equipment that are broken and falling apart.B s

I made the biggest mistake of my life enrolling in this school. I enrolled in the veterinary assisting program and at least at my campus in Orlando we weren’t very hands on with anything when I got to my new place of work I had knowledge of things but couldn’t actually demonstrate anything because we didn’t have any practice in my school. Students would go in smelling like dope because the campus is on orange blossom trail I didn’t feel safe doing night classes. And the thing that has frustrated me the most is that you don’t really get a real degree. You get a certification that you have to renew every year or so that gains you absolutely no status at a vets office. You start just like anyone else who doesn’t have experience. Which means I could’ve just applied at a vets office with no experience and probably still gotten hired. If you’re looking to waste your money and time go for it.Elizabeth garza

Haven’t started Yet but Alex and Crystal are wry polite and pleasant when I called several times because I had lots of questions. I am naturally a wry inquisitive and curious and detail-oriented person. I cross my t’s and dot all my i’s and before I sign up for something , I do extensive research. They are very truthful and open and told me that the school had just opened up in the light of the pandemic and their students hadn’t sat for their exit Hesi and lpn and rn NCLEX just yet but they told me around which date they will be takin the exits and when they will be eligible to sit for NCLEX once he first class graduate , this was when I asked about their exit exams and NCLEX pass rate. You have to take the Hesi A2 exams to get into the Rn program. There is also another exams you have to take for the lpn program just like any other school, but is not the Hesi. And they give some kind of scholarship to help with the tuition cost if you are a healthcare worker. They (Krystal and Alex never were rude, pushy or danced around with my questions, they always answered them in detail. I can and feel that it’s a good school. I have called around some schools in Florida and some of them have such bad reception and customer service I won’t even consider them. Can’t wait to start.Moonlight and staryeyes bestries

At first I was skeptical, then I took a bold step and made an instant decision which I never did before. To the Glory of God , I must say that Enfimye Institute is the best school, excellent and unbeatable. The school has enough resources available for study. The teachers Ms Adriana, Ms Simpson, Ms Monica are very helpful, well-experienced , awesome and supportive staffs who are always available to help and work with your schedules. If you want to become a CNA, this is your place to go! I passed my state exam and I couldn’t make it to my last two refresher courses, which tells you how well they teach you in class and have hands on training with great instructors. I also want to say that the online prep course is awesome! I got to practice the written test and saw the videos of each skill to refresh my memory(best thing ever) Thank you Gabriel Health Institute and ALL the faculty members who helped me throughout everything!! I took the evening class and I'm very pleased with the class and the Instructor Ms.Maria, she is very patient, explains everything in detail and was always willing to answer all our questions making sure that all the students have the chance to practice the skills and do it correctly. I think a 1 star review is generous. I went for my BSN and one term in (8 weeks) we were told that the program is 90% the student and 10% the staff. Most of what you get from staff is power point presentations. That is when you are not doing the teaching based on a group project. And you have one of those every 8 weeks, having to depend on people for your grade and knowledge. They brag about a low drop out rate. That is a joke. It is low because it costs so much and, like all other schools of this nature, nothing transfers. So they "let you" return to repeat the term and continue. (You pay for the repeat which is why I put it in quotations) The person that arranges the clinical rotations, and ultimately handles your volunteer hour documentation, is beyond unorganized. She will lose things and send you notification you did not turn something in even if you hand it directly to her. And her excuse is she has so much going on, not my problem especially for the amount I paid for tuition. They make you feel like if you complain about anything it will be held against you. I would not recommend this school. But in all honesty there probably isn't one of these schools that would be much different.Michelle Ford Gonsowski

I had an outstanding experience with the Physical Therapist Assistant program. Every member of the PTA faculty is highly experienced, very personable, and really goes above and beyond in providing students with a high quality learning experience that definitely exceeded my expectations. As an accelerated medical program, the workload is very heavy making working while going to school very challenging. The benefit however is finishing the program earlier and working as a PTA sooner. In addition to providing you with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the field of physical therapy, the program does a great job of preparing you for the board exam as well as helping you find a job afterwards if needed. I’m very happy I made the decision to attend Herzing University for PTA and would recommend it to any highly motivated person interested in becoming a Physical Therapist Assistant.Mitch Pottinger

I cannot imagine having better service than what I received from Lori and Veritas Nursing Academy. I completed the remedial course, theory and clinical, online. I reactivated my RN license after decades of being out of nursing. I was determined but nervous and didn't know what to expect. Lori put me at ease right away and was full of encouragement. She really cared about me and my success. Lori was always available when I had questions and concerns. She took a lot of the stress away. I had been searching for answers to how to reenter the nursing field as it had been years since I last worked as a nurse. I became frustrated and was even advised to return to school and take the nursing program again. I finally checked the board of nursing and found a few web sites listed on their page for a remedial program I contacted several programs and found Dr. Lori Barnes out of Tampa, she has a great personality and was always willing to answer any questions I had.The classroom had a wonderful and knowledgeable instructor for in person classes. I took a fast CNA test prep course with Dr. Lori. I passed my exam just the first time I tried and got a wonderful feedback about my performance.
