I started my online program two years ago at Alex Tech in Paralegal and Legal Administration. I was leery at first of the quality of education an online degree could provide. Alex Tech sets up their legal program so that you graduate with two associate's degrees, Paralegal and Legal Administration, in the two year time frame. The professors for both the legal program and the elective classes are quick to reply to questions. The online program provides flexibility that allowed me to work full time while going to school. I don't think it matters what your situation is, I would highly recommend the program to anyone.Rachel Barr

The teachers we toured with truely had our daughters education in mind and when they spoke with her they were truely interested about her career focus and really took the time to point out the great programs that would help her achieve her goals. I loved being a student and now, working at Crown! I grew up in a smaller town, so the small town feel helped it feel a bit more like home. I also enjoy the many acres of land. I am disappointed they haven't built a baseball field yet, but other than that, they have a fantastic disc golf course, brand new football stadium, and even a softball field. My overall experience at Crown was good, but was very disappointed in my last semester at the lack of care and empathy given to students. While prayers are nice, prayers without any empathy or action behind them don't mean anything. Even more disappointing the lack of care came from so called mental health professionals. Spent a year at the MSUM in Moorhead. Pro's: The Sociology program is fantastic. Dr. Vigilant is very knowledgeable and willing to really explain the 'nitty gritty' of what you are learning. Most of the other teachers are very nice and willing to help. Nice campus, the advisers are friendly and mostly available. Con's: The administration is horrible. Worse than horrible. I have been out of school for over 5 years and they still find ways to screw me over whenever I have to deal with them. From key administrative aids being out of the office for weeks, to the purposeful and never ending runaround you get from every single person from billing, to academics, to student aid, to the school board. They impose random holds on your account and never take them off, even after bringing in at least 3 people to resolve the issue. Its the poster-child for bureaucracy. Good school. Excellent film, theatre, and education programs. A decent price for the full university experience without having to walk a mile to you next class. Knocked a star off because of the numerous classes cut and horrible decisions made by the last president. The dorms, and other campus facilities are undergoing numerous needed renovations. I have had an amazing experience with Herzing University! I am excelling in my degree choice and I couldn't be more satisfied with my learning experience and the flexibility that the online program gives me.The instructors are all willing to help whenever I have a question, and if they see many students struggling with something, they will post an announcement with some helpful tips on how to proceed through our courses. The learning material is easy to understand, the discussion boards really help me connect with my classmates more than I normally would, the library is full of everything you might need for your studies, and the Coach rooms and Tutoring center are very helpful! I have seen many posts off and on about how students struggled in this school. I have to say the most common thing I see students struggling from in these courses is not doing the assigned work on time, not participating in the discussions, and not following the assigned directions on assignments. We have to take responsibility and do our work (on time!) or we will not succeed, and we should not blame someone else for our lack of trying. Just with everything else in life, if you do not put any effort into something, you will not gain anything from it. I stared with Herzing back in 2013 for my undergrad BSN RN. At that time, school was still establishing itself, therefore, I had some rough time getting through the program, but overall my experience was good. Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College is a special institution in northeastern Minnesota. The College is the only dual public and tribal college in the entire USA. The College offers a wide array of career based and university transfer programming. The campus setting is beautiful. The College offers student housing, athletic facilities, and pleasant student spaces. Administration and faculty deeply care about student results. The College is originally diverse in northeastern minnesota…..40% of it's student body is non-white. I graduated in 2010 with 2 degrees. It was a 2 year Tribal College, (had to take the Anishinaabe class), I went for 4ish years I loved it so much! It was affordable with quite a few classes to choose from. When I started, it was a small school with few people in classes, and wonderful instructors that had the time to spend with you if you weren't understanding something. LOVED IT! This 2 yr college is a place of many public events. Right now they are having their last of 4 free summer concerts. Beautiful architecture. Many cultures have gone thru the doors to receive a 2 yr degree and go on to other schools. Their football team..Thunder…has an excellent program..most of the players are from the deep South and experiencing cold for the first time…they house many sports teams. Excellent place. Think twice before attending this institution. I was enrolled to begin classes in the fall semester. One week before they began, DCTC contacted me saying they no longer offered the program that I signed up for. Again, ONE WEEK before classes began. This left me almost no time to scramble around looking for another school to attend for the fall semester. That kind of behavior is unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. The whole process just felt off anyway. They were always slow to respond, they fought every step of the way when I presented transfer credits from another institution. I was somewhat relieved in a way knowing I wouldn't have to deal with them any further. What a waste of time.Adam

Didn’t have the best experience overall. The instructor for the automotive technology class was only genuine once while he was teaching me something. Every other time, there was sarcasm and rudeness when trying to ask him questions. Not to mention half of the kids (quote “kids”) in the class were constantly on their phones and messing around. I wouldn’t have minded, except that we were placed in groups, therefor graded as a group. Someone from admin called me a year or so after graduation and asked if I had gotten anywhere with my degree. Much of the SCSU campus is beautiful & worth a long walk or bike ride. Lovely historic old buildings & newer buildings show fascinating architecture. Plenty of gardens, benches & green space. Perfect for a decent environment on campus. Nice planning by SCSU leadership! Congrats! Unfortunately…. the city of St Cloud didn't have the same insight & planning skills. Some of the surrounding college neighborhood buildings are owned by cheap, incompetent, opportunistic landlords. Many rental houses & apartments are Ugly eye sores….and this reflects poorly on SCSU!! WHY THE HELL did the city of St Cloud not have stronger building, housing rental codes & regulations? For many years the City Council & other city leadership groups failed SCSU. The nearby older historic homes (on lovely tree lined streets) were once very nice….yet were allowed to seriously deteriorate & become a drawback. This has hurt SCSU regarding new perspective students, home buyers, businesses & visitors. Shameful….for years there must have been Very poor, weak, inept leadership in the city of St Cloud!!! I realize there have been some recent efforts to turn this neighborhood mess around. But the pitiful planning & damage was done over many decades….and the city is facing a very uphill battle. And sadly… SCSU has been left holding the proverbial bag.Richard Quigley

St Clous State isn’t too bad if you don’t care or aren’t paying out of your own pocket. The quality education is low. Lack of resource for students to succeed. Decent professors. Cleaning staffs and financial administration are great. Lacks student diversity and safety. Dorm security needs to be more secure, especially in Sherburn Hall. SCSU get most of their money from international Napel students. Student population is 80% Napel. Highly discourage anyone to attend. First semester/year, you’ll wish you never wasted time and money on SCSU. That’s why their graduation rate is so low (below 50%), students transfer out after attending the first semester/year. Academic Advisors are burnt out, and 1 per program with over 100 students. They don’t know what they’re talking about most of the time. Double check your transfer credits with the head professor of the actual department.Asia Love

Homecoming was fun but not very many participants. The school originally pushing it into October didn't help and then canceling it all together for a large part of a decade. The alumni and students kind of either don't remember or are apathetic towards the concept. The city and the school need to work together with the alumni, student organizations (especially the greeks who have a vested interest in their alumni) to make people interested in coming back every year. So forever grateful I was able to spend 4 amazing years at this school. I am not sure what the other people reviewing recently are talking about, as I felt the community at this campus is very welcoming and friendly. It is a catholic school so they do teach and emphasize catholic studies, however there are many classes that center around other beliefs. I never felt like my beliefs were being stomped on, and I am not catholic. Also, if you are worried about your social life and getting the college experience, don't be! You can definitely still have the college experience and attend St. Kate's. The campus always has activities going on, and there are many schools in the area. First I want to say my advisor was amazing she was super helpful through all this mess. I was supposed to start this month but they said they were missing things so I couldn’t get in until the next semester when they had everything. but we had already sent them everything we had sent to every other college we applied to. They were the only ones we had this problem with. They then today told me that we weren’t gonna be accepted due to the fact that they don’t accept the accredited bodies that my school was accredited by due to varying standards idk what that means. This school is way too expensive for an OTA degree. You can also get the same online degree at less expensive colleges. I do not recommend St. Kate’s to anyone. After spending 4 1/2 years at UNW my thoughts and experience would take a book to finish. But I'll try to be short. Pros. I loved most of my professors. I had professors who actually cared for my success and are willing to go out of their ways to help. Many of my professors knew me personally and I wasnt just a number in their schedule. Which I can't say my other friends from other colleges can say. UNW pushed me out of my comfort zone and helped me realize what my passions are; through realizing how much I disagreed with the institution, but nevertheless I matured. The friends I've made. True and great friends who all felt the same. lol Cons: granted not every student is and thinks the same, but there's enough consensus to make me believe the school does way too little to better itself. Too much of the school thinks they're past racism. Whenever we reach a topic on anything related to culture or race we would have less than 2 days to talk about it while other topics used a week easily. Professors uncomfortability trumps the need to discuss out issues. Teachers have openly say diversity is the issue. 100% of school advertisement would showcase vast variety of diversity and multiculturalism, yet students of color makes less than 5% of the entire body. And 95% of the students in the advertisements don't even go to Northwestern. I know this because I know most of those students and they've graduated years ago. Academically it was subpar for the price of admission. Tuition jumped $10,000 within the time I was there. The school preaches love yet it's hard to find any. As a student of color, for years i felt so out of place. We were referred as a horde of animals, we were unvalued, and were expected to fit into that sameness the school holds on to. I've heard and seen many use their gospel to reject our presence. They're friendly on the outside but could care less about who you are. There's more I can say, but my verdict is this: if you like monoculture, ethnocentrism, expensive decent academics, and want to go back to your tiny town, then Northwestern is great for you. If you're a student of color who wants a supportive community, a student body that strives for cultural acceptance, understanding, and REAL gospel love equaled with high academic quality, go somewhere else. This school needs to adapt to the supply and demand of skills in the market workplace. There are more students than there are jobs demanding the skills that this college and colleges in general is teaching. For example, the MIS program focuses heavily on programming and not enough in other IT skills such as business intelligence, data analytics, business/systems analysis, and quality assurance. Sure, this program and its current state of heavy programming courses has worked well for most alumni's to get roles in both programming and non-programming jobs but that is not the case for some students that do not have that high of a GPA. These students will have a TOUGHER time finding a job in a IT role that they want because they were not given the ability to choose more courses relevant to their career choices as opposed to a student that is more technical savvy and understand technology in general better. Not saying that these students with lower GPAs won't find a job but just that it will be 2-3 times as tougher. Companies are looking for more than just programmers but yet UNW and colleges in general continues to push a lot irrelevant coding courses on them that they will never use. I have been out of this school for a while and not once have I have had the need to use java, xml, and visual basis nor did the roles I have interviewed for (from the IT topics I listed above) have asked for it. A lot of companies are hiring for business/systems analysis, business intelligence, data analytics, and quality assurance but programming is the main focus for this program. This program is still stuck in the 80s-90s. This school needs to start adapting to the supply and demand of the workplace market.James Smith

I loved parts of my time on at Northwestern. I was in choir, played on the men's soccer team, and participated in various student clubs. But let's be real, Northwestern is only a friendly place if you are a white evangelical who is cool with patriarchy and spiritualized ethnocentrism. Do not attend if you are a person of color. They are institutionally racist and theologically conservative. I majored in education ( I now teach in South Bronx) and was not trained well to educate a diverse classroom. I even had professors deny racism was a real issue … In education, are you serious? (Can you say school to prison pipeline ?) The biblical studies department act like the Jesus police, and do not appreciate any perspective outside of selective biblical literalism. There are a few shining stars on staff who think outside the box, but they are literally apart of the underground and cannot speak openly in fear they will be excommunicated and fired. One saving grace is that Ron Ginn got me a placement teaching in North Minneapolis where I found great mentors. Such a sweet and loving man. This is a wonderful place if you are straight, conservative, classist, theologically conservative, white and plan to never interact with anyone outside of white evangelicalism. Be prepared to have loving people shame you with the bible if you think differently or look differently. I appreciate Rasmussen University for having an abundance of resources and many professors and other staff members who demonstrate they want students to succeed. I especially have enjoyed being a peer educator, being privileged to work with Tammy Hopps who is an excellent supervisor and leader, and also being able to work with other peer educators who care for their peers as much as I do. I transferred from a local state college, which I considered sticking with to save money, but in reality, not much is saved when you compare the timeframe for graduation. At the state college it would take me an extra 2 whole years to receive my BSN, whereas at Rasmussen I save 2 years of time because of their second-degree BSN option. I am very pleased with the quality of technology – at the state school blackboard and other resources were slow and did not work as well on my cell phone, whereas with Rasmussen I can easily access everything I need from my phone when I'm on the go. It's inspiring to see so many single parents and married parents in school, some of which also work full time or part time like myself while completing their degree. I had such high hopes when enrolling at this school. However my experience hasn't been favorable at all. I am a current student and I was disappointed because even though I was able to enroll and start classes I really felt unsupported on this journey. I'm realizing Rasmussen may not be the school for me. I REALLY thought I would be supported and encouraged. I was made to feel that Rasmussen would be rooting for me through my academic journey. Instead I am bombarded with emails and calls telling me what I already know… I owe money. No calls or emails about how I can be helped to budget so that I can pay more toward the balance. I'm only being told: what I owe, to get the balance down to $500-$1000 and to take out loans; which will only put me in debt and it's too early to be taking out loans when I've been in school since September of 2021 and have 2 more years. Also this school doesn't cater to single parents, limited income and individuals that HAVE to work. This school ONLY has day classes for the nursing program and as I said before I HAVE to work full time.Sherria Clark

This morning I called the university for the North Orlando Campus for the Nursing program and spoke to the director of Nursing who was discusstingly rude on the phone. I called to get information, He had no patience and told me Not to proceed a career in Nursing because it was Not for me. This was a university that I was so excited to be a part of and be a graduate of Nursing. The director needs to be Fired because he is giving the university a bad reputation. The school is great I would give it 5 stars. The on campus housing I would give zero stars. Just don't live on campus, there is a lot of crime in the housing. My first year here was great I didn't have a problem. This year is my second year and I have had bad luck with my whole roommate situation. I have had my stuff get stolen on two separate occasions. The first time my mini fridge and a poster got stolen I went to the housing directors and they said to me. "I don't know what you want me to do about it it's not like I can go check every ones dorm." They do have the authority to go and do that, because they did it early this year when one of the R.A.'s got some of his stuff stolen. Also they didn't want me to fill out a report about it because they have to send all of the crime reports to the state and it all goes up online. They will try to discourage people from filling out the reports and will not even tell you about it unless you ask to fill one out. My mini fridge eventually showed up, because I was asking every one about it and my guess is who ever took it got scared and ditched it. The second time stuff was stolen from me I had a whole cupboard of food stolen and the housing director won't do anything. Depending on your roommate situation you can have a great time or a terrible time, If I would have known I was going to have such bad roommates and the housing directors wouldn't do anything I would have lived off campus. Last year I didn't want the school year to end, and now I can't wait to leave and go home. So if you come to VCC I would highly suggest living off campus because this is a great school, it's just the housing situation isn't the greatest. It is also cheaper to live off campus then it is to live on campus. This is still a great school to come to great classes and teachers will help you out if you need it. Don't decide to not come because of what I wrote about because this is the best school I have ever seen.barry melrose

I currently attend a different college online. I have four remaining courses left of my program, three are offered spring semester while one isn't offered until fall. The one course I need that isn't available at my current college is available at Inver Hills which is why I enrolled in the course for spring. Upon completion, the course I take will transfer back to my original college so I can graduate spring. I have worked out all the details with my current college about this arrangement. I need Inver Hills to provide some bits of information and complete a form. I have spent the last week calling Inver Hills to which nobody responds. I have tried calling different departments-financial aid, admissions, etc. to which nobody responds. I have sent multiple emails to which I received only one response telling me to look at the Web site. Inver Hill's communication with students is terrible! This is ridiculous. What are the advisors and admission staff doing all day where they cannot be bothered to answer a phone call, email, or provide information?!Kat Elizabeth

I haven't even started the semester yet and have had everything that could possibly go wrong do so. They transferred my credits incorrectly which set back my registration by a few weeks, after two months my financial aid is still "processing" even after multiple phone calls being reassured it would be through the next day. Having no financial aid means my text book order was cancelled. And a week before classes start they dropped one of my courses putting me short on credits for graduation. No matter what time of day I call any department no one ever seems to answer and we play phone tag for days. All in all my experience seems to indicate that no one really cares about helping students and just goes through the motions. I must ask those who complained about this school why did you enroll? I found my education and time here at Inver Hills highly useful. Why spend 64 credits when you can earn your 2 year degree for 60 credits and half the cost of your tuition at other community colleges? If you make the most of your time in school and do your work on time. You could get a lot out of it and done with a degree with the field of your choice. You can even take an advanced degree such as a Bachelors here. I love that I do not need to go to a main campus and take courses at IHCC. I am back to finish a few credits at IHCC and transfer to Metro State University to complete my Bachelors. Just like you shop for cars, the latest technology, and other stuff why not compare schools? They want everyone to attend classes on campus. Come on. They proudly and loudly proclaim "Saint Paul College – We're Back this Fall". There are multiple new COVID variants out now with record hospitalizations in MN but Saint Paul college wants us all on campus. My wife and I are both working from home. Our employees cared enough about our safety to let us do this, but Saint Paul college wants us all on campus. My wife is taking classes at a private college and they told her all classes will be online, at least for now. No need to risk your health and come in, but Saint Paul college wants us all on campus. Thankfully I did my research by talking to them and decided against going here. Spending a little more so that I can stay at home and take my Lit classes online. Don't bother with this place. If you can, spend a little extra and have the peace of mind that you won't end up in the ICU with a tube down your throat. There, I did my research so you don't have to. Feel free to call them. I havnt attended this school, & along with my experience so far & reading the reviews I may not. I have a degree; however, I work as a nursing assistant. I love my job, but I often see aids being treated pretty poorly. So, as I get older, I thought maybe I could look into being an LP . In this role, I could work fairly with the aides around me…blah, blah, blah. So I requested more information. I recieved no call back, only an email saying I had to put an application in. Eh, no. I ate at the City View Cafe at St. Paul College. This is the cafe that is operated by the students in the culinary program. I recently enjoyed the Valentines Tasting menu and it was fantastic. The only criticism I had for the meal was the shell on the dessert was a bit thick (I cannot believe I am complaining about dessert). It was hard to gracefully eat but it was so worth it. The combination of flavors was divine. If this meal was any indication of the talent these students have, we are going to have sone great chefs (hopefully in the Twin Cities area) in the future.Sharon Moen

I will be completely honest. I did some PSEO courses here and thought it was a nice campus. There is some struggles and problems with the school, but nothing to make this not a choice for a college. Teachers are nice, most of the students are fine and just do there own thing, there is a couple of clubs and activities, and the class sizes see to be reasonable (smaller than JMHS). I think it is a good campus and should be considered an opinion and not thrown to the curb when looking for local colleges.Burner Account

What a joke… My wages are currently being levied for a semester I did not even get to attend! The Financial Aid/Counselor I worked with helped me sign up for all the classes needed for that semester but did not inform me that I had no available financial aid. By the time, I discovered this (3 weeks into class) it was too late to withdraw without paying full price. I called multiple people at the school but all refused to help or did not know how to help. Great place until you have an issue, “the person you need to talk to isn’t here today” well I guess “the person I need to talk to” hasn’t been there since 2019. Have really given this school every chance under the sun to do the right thing but nothing ever gets done, 3 years trying to resolve an error (made by the school) and here I still am. And “the person I need to talk to” still isn’t there. The overwhelming majority of staff is wonderful and dedicated to their jobs, however there is a painfully obvious lack of competence in upper level leadership. I have called/showed up well over 25 times trying to get things squared away and nobody ever reaches out. Have had staff email other staff to no avail. College of St Scholastica was a waste of my hard earned money and four years of my life. I would give away my degree from this shame of a school if I could. I received an extremely low quality education and dealt with extremely corrupt and dishonest administrators and instructors who just cared about keeping their jobs and scratching each other's backs and could care less about a student or ethics or integrity for that matter. The school as a whole is a great place but when you need food or to do your laundry it’s hell. Somers never has working washers on your floor and the dining center never has food and when they do it’s almost inedible. I recommend no meal plan if you can and expect to never be able to do your laundry.Heather Archerd

Bethany Lutheran Church, worshipping virtually (Zoom), physically distancing, but keeping our ties is now conducting the Sunday at 10 am Worship Services from the beautiful Gundale Chapel on Augsburg Campus. At this time limited to only worship leaders on site we are looking forward to when we can safely gather in person. Augsburg University and especially Leif Anderson has been wonderful to work with as Bethany moves out into the community and into a public church in passing on its physical building to Augsburg. Augsburg's support of spiritual and faith growth of its students and community within different religions is a joy to see and Bethany is glad to be a part of that.Lorraine Wookey

The cafeteria is subpar, not only in food quality, but in sanitary means. There is low variety and Augsburg encourages food waste by requiring that students' meals fit certain criteria, because they are paid to do so. As for cleanliness, the floors are sticky, and it is common to find a crushed banana or two on the floor. The tables and floors are not cleaned regularly, if at all, resulting in an unhealthy eating environment, full of bacteria. Not to mention, this school encourages unhealthful habits such as food waste and cleaning habits. This cafeteria should not remain in service.Ansel Erol (Sir. Anselot)

My mother, sister, and I are all proud alumnus of Augsburg (Class of 97', 08' & '16). The professors are great – they are always willing to help a student. Every year, at the beginning of the Fall Semester, students go out and volunteer around the community. They invite well-known speakers (i.e. Bill Nye, Steve Wozniak, and Jimmy Carter) to campus; both the public and students are invited to attend. They are open to all regions, not just Lutherans. I would recommend this school to anyone, but consider going to Community College then transferring, it helps with the cost.Tiffiney Biorn

When I first started signing up for my MBA I advised them that I had just graduated with my bachelors degree. My goal was to start August 5, and I submitted all my necessary paperwork and cooperated as such. When it got to my transcripts I was advised I could not start because the conferral date was not on the transcripts. The enrollment specialist told me to reach out to my previous school. I did and it was a hassle. I called the enrollment specialist at Capella to advise of the updates to only find out that Capella’s registrar team had already been in contact with my school. I wanted to start on the 5th as it was very discouraging to go through the process to be turned away at last minute. 1). Total waist of time as I took time out of my day to complete orientation and do what they advised of me. 2) I asked to speak with a supervisor who was very vague and could not provide the information needed. 3) I again called Capella to try and escalate the situation, but the manager never returned my call. I feel as if they had me sign up because they were the ones to get paid for each student to enroll and failed to educate me properly in the beginning, which is very misleading and discouraging. Since no one wanted to comply and take responsibility I will be escalating this to the BBB as this is not my fault and I should had been able to start in the promised time given and should have been educated properly.Tearra McCray

The worst university ever! They made me waste my time and my money from the first day, every time I communicated with them each counselor told me something different, and more than a month passed and I did not have an accurate answer on the status of my application, after a month a person from human resources let me know that I had to do my transcripts equivalency again on another website because the one I had already sent twice to them waiting for they review it (and that they themselves told me it was okay to do it that way) was not valid for them to take me into account to start the course this past October. 1- First time the transcripts were not encrypted, so they asked my to ask the institution they send it again but encrypted this time and I did it and sent it again. And after that they let me know that didn’t work for them. So I wasted my time, my money and above all the opportunity to start on the desired date. A very bad job of the staff. Very bad communication with the students who want to start there, and they also contradict each other. They all say different things and waste your time. They are also very rude. I hope that no one has this bad experience, nor misses the opportunity to start the course on the date they planned, and due to the horrible work of other people you lose opportunities in life.Claudia Espinosa

From the beginning of my Master's level school search, Capella stood out. I had a great recommendation from a friend already, but in researching complete online programs to work with my schedule, Capella checked all of the boxes I needed. I had a wonderful experience with my admissions counselor and continue to have great interactions with all communication. I am happy with all faculty thus far and feel that I am learning exactly what I need for my future as a school counselor. The course load is what I expected it to be and the time I spend on classwork is time well spent. I feel very confident that I will be prepared to enter the field of school counseling when I graduate. The very first thing Capella does once you are enrolled is to start you in a class to help navigate your program and get you familiar with the online format. This helped immensely and calmed my nerves for entering into a graduate program online. I feel very well cared for and have not had a negative experience yet! I was 2013 graduate from here. I came here because my entire tuition was paid for by scholarship. Loved the setting. Loved the dining options. But I had to really advocate for myself in the science department. I did not understand why one professor placed all my classmates in internships except for me. She said the requirements did not apply to me as the rest so I could choose where I wanted to intern, only to be told later when I found my own location that the same requirements were still to apply at wherever I interned. Another professor refused to brainstorm or clarify for me what he was looking for in a theory question yet he would not accept mine.. so I could not complete his class and had drop it because the rest of semester was going to revolve around the whole theory. Most disappointing of all, my advisor's only advice was for me to drop out or to transfer. While grateful for any kind of experience, I felt there were no resources or support.Kablia Vang

As a former student it's a great college. The campus is very homely feeling and is catered to the undergrad experience. There is always events and speakers to attend. The music recitals are also a lot of fun. The classes outside freshmen year were normally no larger then about 20 people. The professors and staff in general were always very accommodating. The gym and pool are really nice if you go here. The dinning hall has good food, but can be a bit expensive even with meal plans.Bear Oldcastle

Having transferred to Concordia from a larger university in the region, I can safely say that what this school offers is a unique experience and a great education. A strong sense of community, a challenging liberal arts education, and a world class music program all contribute to Concordia being a fantastic college experience.locke108k

I have been with Rasmussen for as long as I know. Haha! But with my experience there, it is so amazing! It has been a roller coaster! But on the good end, all the instructors and my advisor are so helpful when it comes to, in need of help and learning or even if it just a question. I am a mother of 5 kids I just recently had my newborn last year in Nov, 2020. I know that with all my kids and also a full time worker including part time going to school at Rasmussen, it was very hard and complicated! Sometimes I wonder how do I deal with all these crazy stuff but on the side note, I am also glad I did it because I want to show all my kids everything is POSSIBLE if you work hard for it. And I also want to show my kids a good role model of how important school. I just graduated with my AA degree in Human Resource and I am planning on going for my bachelors degree and continuing my education. There are few times where sometimes I want to give up because with 5 kids like me it is super frustrating and especially with the pandemic going on too, it’s really hard. If anyone could see what I have to dealt with, you wouldn’t want to be in it. But while attend college at Rasmussen, my advisor has always been the greatest at contacting me and making sure I don’t fall on any of my courses even though I did failed a few times to where to the point I can’t even or might not even get help with financial aid anymore and have to pay out of pocket. My advisor have been there to help guide me through it all and making sure I don’t attempt to just walk out because I sure was about to give up. Because it was just that hard for me. I have a lot to say but I will just leave it here. I do hope I can encourage some of you or anyone out there, because when you think you won’t make it, you will if you just keep pushing yourself. I honestly didn’t think I will. I did changed my major a few times too. So, it kind of took me awhile to get to where I am at now. But if you stick to one major, I’m sure you’ll be fine and won’t be at Rasmussen long like me. Rasmussen a great school with a lot help around if you just ask. I’m glad I attended Rasmussen college. Because without all the help I need, I wouldn’t be here now with my degree. And remember, anything is POSSIBLE if you make it possible! 🙂Pang Der Vang

I have nothing but the upmost gracious things to say about the Rasmussen Woodbury campus in MN. Time and time again they have expressed their care for their students no matter if it is students’ questions or helping you on your way to become a successful graduate. I had entered into Rasmussen a cancer diagnosis patient. I had concerns, worries and not to mention I needed some extra help because of chemo fog. Collette my advisor has been so helpful. She might not always have been at the phone 24/7 but she has always tried to get back to me. She has helped me rearrange my schedules when I needed it and always tried to help me answer any questions I had about my courses. This Rasmussen campus has made me feel almost like family. They not only want to make sure that your courses are going well but they really like to make sure everything in your life is going well too. They really care about their students on and off campus. They have always showed great flexibility too. I first enrolled full time but after realizing with treatments and everything else going on I could only manage 6 credits at a time in order to learn effectively. They were very accommodating and helped me rearrange my schedule around to help fit my needs. Teachers here are also very accommodating. If you have issues going on and explain to them about troubles they are more than willing to work with you on things, and try to help you out to make sure you are getting the best education experience possible. I have had nothing but pleasant experiences here and highly recommend this campus to anyone who is looking for a learning experience with faculty members who care deeply and want a flexible plan that can fit around your busy schedule. It does take time to adjust to online learning but if you can get the hang of it then there is no other place like Rasmussen.Crystal Peavey

I would recommend Rasmussen, it is a wonderful learning environment! The classes can be challenging at times, however, if your time is managed it is doable. The advisers are very accommodating and wonderful to talk to. Everyone at Rasmussen wants you to succeed and will work with you to obtain your goals. I was able to obtain my bachelor's in ECE , while working full-time, and raising my children. I was able to go on vacation and extend my summer break to accommodate my life and family balance. They also offer classes where you work at your own pace and you pay only a fraction of the cost instead of full tuition. They also offer discounts regarding tuition, such as a military discount. The campus has computers you can use and a quiet environment if you need. Rasmussen offers several different programs. The enrollment process is super easy and they will walk you step by step to setup your online class room and account. The student loan process can be difficult and frustrating at times, but your financial advisor will answer any questions or concerns within a week. There one thing I was not impressed with was the billing. My account would state I had a zero balance, then two days later I would have a balance with an over due notice because they would put a date on the balance owed that was three weeks prior. Again I would recommend Rasmussen to working individuals who want to further their career paths. However, watch your financial account closely and keep in close contact with your financial advisor.Megan Anderson
