I visited as a new patient for a student dentist. It’s a new building with new equipment and most importantly clean environment. Everything takes much longer for a full overview of me teeth since she’s a student being examined. It’s nothing like having a normal dentist visit. She checked my blood pressure, pulse, even sited a small mole on my neck and gave me skin awareness and skin cancer advice. Then neck and jaw was checked and each tooth’s gum is measured and then x-rays! This was all done under the general supervision of professional and thorough Senior Dentist. Then time was up! I have visit again another day to finish with further study of each tooth, brushing technique and scaling I hope at the end!Farnoosh Famouri-Lee

Being a student at Plaza College was such an amazing journey! Starting in the Career Pathways Program, I worked my way up to earning a high GPA with the help of my amazing professors, peers, and faculty staff members. Additionally, participating in Student Life activities gave me the push to further my education in the Associates AND Bachelor's program for Business Administration & Management. Plaza College became a second home for me. I earned an amazing step as becoming a member and officer in the English honor society, Sigma Kappa Delta. A good school where you get out what you put in. Many trains stop within walking distance and buses as well. Just like any college, depending on your major, you will find good and bad professors. So always make use of the rate my professor website. I had a very pleasant experience. The administration was more competent than other schools I went to and my issues were always solved within a reasonable amount of time. The facilities I had to use for my major were in even better condition compared to some four year schools. The wifi coverage was good. Plenty of cafeterias with the best one being in the E building. Plenty of food trucks with different types of foods. Lots of seating areas with electrical ports. The class scheduling was workable with enough sections to fit almost everyone. Can't speak for any other major but it felt like that overall. They are always hiring new adjuncts so it's not the same professor teaching that one section you need all the time that everyone says is horrible. Always stay on top of your things if you want to have them resolved quickly. That's the part you play in your college years. The hand holding stops after High School. All I can say is, relax a little and have some fun. At the end of the day grades won't show the strength of your character after all is said and done.Mounia B

It seems like professors like the one I got Professor Arnold who acts likes she is going through the motions and don't there . i felt I waste my time and money which I paid out of pocket in her class and is thinking about leaving the college. She is one of the worst teachers/professors i ever had . I think cause it a community college a lot of them are mad cause they can't teach in a four year college through out of the community colleges in NY LaGuardia is the best . That being said she is the third professors that I had that sleeps walks through their class and I had another one that did something that weren't cool and I didn't show up for her class and never got an apology from her. I say if you over 30 years like me this college is not for you. Im currently in my last year at LaGuardia (majoring in business) and i have to say the Business department is full of AMAZING professors. Classes are really easy (most of them except accounting unless you're good at it) and the students are cool. I, personally, never talked to anyone or made any friends because I'm not an outgoing person. The school is constantly going under renovations and they just finished the new library and it looks AMAZING, as if it was a library from an ivy league. Food isn't that great but what do you expect, its school food [not free of course]. I took Acting & Gymnastics classes growing up as a kid @ KCC; along with taking other performing arts enrichment classes @ Brooklyn College also while growing up, although Brooklyn College wasn't affiliated with my high school like KCC was. KCC has a great campus for a CUNY two-year college (one of the nicest in the CUNY system being right on Manhattan Beach) and is also the partner CUNY institute with my High School alma mater, Edward R. Murrow whom it operates the CollegeNow! program with. I spent my Junior and Senior years at Murrow taking KCC college-level courses taught by both Murrow faculty, and visiting KCC faculty (at Murrow) as well as commuting to the KCC campus from Murrow for additional classes that could only be taught on-site @ the KCC campus. It was EXTREMELY academically enriching to be able to enjoy a college level curriculum whilst still being in High School; and that was due directly to KCC's collaboration with my high school. My GPA went up as a result of the CollegeNow! program during my last two years at Murrow as did my SAT scores. I have KCC to thank for that. 👍👏👏👏👏Ben Schaeffer

Kingsborough CC has a very nice entertainment program, well-run and well-sited, with both indoor and outdoor venues. This year's 4-part post-pandemic return to their July outdoor series has been a real winner for the 3 weeks of it so far, with decent weather enhancing the winning combination. Performers have commented on how well-received they are when they come to perform there, from an enthusiastic staff that really respects their art, to receptive audiences. That reputation has allowed audiences to see a number of top-notch acts more than once there, as the artists appreciate that respectful treatment. There have been other events there, all of which were interrupted by COVID since it came around, so there will be needed time to get those back on track. There are cautionary protocols in place even now: those attending must provide proof of vaccination, with masks optional. Not sure of masking will or will not be required once the indoor events resume, but it certainly appears that the staff has kept up-to-date with everything necessary.N H Tanner

If I could, I would easily give York a ZERO RATING! NOTHING against the professors I’ve come across, but the school, policy and registrar/bursar staff and policy are ridiculous. I have been charged, during the pandemic I might add FULL. I clearly withdrew from summer classes and was literally ONE day passed the 100% refund date. After, I spoke continuously with bursar who kept sending me back to registrar. ALL professors assisted in submitting documentation showing I DID NOT CONTINUE in the ONLINE courses. Although I submitted required, and accurate paperwork documenting the WHY I could not complete the summer session, this greedy school is charging me ONE HUNDRED PERCENT for courses that their own records reflect that u withdrew from. Again, let me reiterate this was at the time of a Pandemic. I am now not able to register or do anything until this balance is paid. I think this school is deplorable, too much of the staff is unprofessional and not helpful At all! They’re dismissive and there is never any considerations or flexibility offered. It’s so much more-For the upcoming college youth- there are many schools to choose from within the CUNY system- I would advise, save yourself possible headaches and anguish and choose Somewhere else to attend!Bridget Cros

If you can, avoid this school. Majority of the staff are unprofessional, lazy and do not seem to take their job seriously. Imagine emailing your professor and days, or even up to week plus passes by with no response. Some professors to avoid, Darrell Morris- extremely unprofessional acts as if he's paying us to be there and not the other way around. Does not actually teach anything, except the one time he was being evaluated. Does not respond to emails. Never comes on camera. Samuel Olagun- jeez where do I begin. Just do not take him. Arrogant, condescending, rude, unresponsive. Evan Owens- spent most of the semester focused on his graduate work than our class. Gave the same grade to everyone in our group project even though 2 people did no work. They earned a free A. Overall the school is a nightmare and I am so happy that I have never had to step foot on this campus. They act like they are doing you a favor instead of their jobs. Lovely campus and easily seen from the street. The school is close to public transportation. The campus houses a high school and an elementary school. The grounds can use some work and some more public art installations. The cemetery is gated but plenty of history ardorns the head stones. The indoor exhibit of The Tuskegee Airmen is worth visiting the campus. The stundent art galley is the best. Ask security for accessibility for people with disabilities. Security at the gate will ask of I. D. He is very pleasant and awesome with directions. Most staff/faculty are helpful too. Better to get assistance from the more experienced staff. They are quite knowledgeable. The food is pricey for college life, but the chicken Marsalis, peas & rice, Mac & cheese and green beans with show string beans cut carrots was a tasty pleasant delight. The logistics of the buildings are identified in letter quadrants to help navigate your way through the buildings. For example 1B 106 would be on the 1st floor in the "B" section. As F-1 visa international student, I would say that ASA College is a great place for our educational and career goals. Professors are responsive and very collaborative as well as helpful. During my education in ASA College I was able to make friends with students from different parts of world. The most of them are my lifetime friends now. Classes are not too big. Therefore, providing a tremendous opportunity to study and excel your knowledge and/or skills. I would recommend international students to study in ASA College if they want to be ready to compete within existing job market and get a job they are looking for. ASA College gave me the opportunity to get my first degree in Medical Assisting in the USA, and also to gain useful experience through work in the admission office. The college has won multiple awards from the CUNY system as well as other institutions for its ability to grant Associate's Degrees at an impressive rate and to foster continuing education at senior colleges. With a respectable teacher-to-student ratio, significant public and private funding, and a central location in New York City, the learning experience has been covered by many publications and studied by experts. However, BMCC also suffers from a large rise in remedial education, lack of freshman retention, and overcrowding. Due to its larger base of capital compared to most other two-year colleges, expansion of new campuses during the rebuilding of Fiterman Hall was possible. Several trailers are still used as classrooms to this day in order to help expand capacity. Internal programs have also been created or expanded to help with academic advisement, provide online access for registration, transferring to other colleges, and job placement. edit, update: ended up coming to the conclusion that because all of this uncertanty and my bad living situation I am dropping out, I did all I could, was not met halfway by anone but professors unless I begged here. do not go here if you're poor. Just, no. I can't take it anymore. I've tried to explain my situation to this school multiple times, and I'm left to struggle on my own. I am starving, housing insecure, financially unstable, and unable to make ot to class or properly study because of financial struggle, inability to be alone a place quiet to study because they won't house, and depression. In the end they want to fail you out so you can pay them fees later, I guarantee. I'lll gladly take my review down if it's actually a thing they decide they really want to help me with, only after I have been actually helped, and not as in, money grant to help my situation I never recieve, or new housing program email I apply for and am swiftly rejected because I am not enrolled just enough just yet due to circumstances that are once again not entirely my fault because when I applied here I intended to be taking 16 credits not 7. WORST.SCHOOL.EVER!! I hope they close down for good VERY SOON! There's no motivation or inspiration at all in this school whatsoever. The counselors and teachers are horrendous!! For every 5 teachers there, only 1 teacher is decent! They hold back their students far too long from achieving their true potential and don't even get me started on the atrocious time consuming and full of adversity enrollment process!! If you're still stuck taking a remedial/non credit class; instead of being able to register online LIKE IT SHOULD BE FOR EVERY STUDENT, you're instead forced to go all the way to Valhalla to register for classes EVERY semester until you've passed ALL their pointless non credited classes! Very excruciating and appalling for any student! Their counselors are always putting down students, not one can potentially uplift you when it comes to succeeding in school. This school is entirely all a scam. They will give you classes that do not pertain to your major and leave the big fat F on your transcript if you fail it, even if you're a Math and Science student that was given a social worker class that has absolutely nothing to do with your program!!!Toki Sing

Miserable place. Professors don’t care. They have people who don’t speak English teaching the math department. Those in the financial building are miserable, uninformative and rude. Nobody communicates!! Financial Tells you one thing and the counselors say something different. Totally unorganized and made my college experience a miserable one. They prioritize minorities and even questioned me on why I’m not on financial aid. Teachers WILL fail you if you don’t agree with their POLITICAL views. Community college is supposed to be affordable, but they manage to shake you down for every little penny. I was pretty skeptical about going back to school during this plandemic and now that I’m back in school, I wish I would’ve saved my money. The website says lab classes will be conducted online but it’s actually remote. If you want to pay full tuition for a partial education, then this is the place for you. The people who work in the administrative building specifically the Bursar’s office don’t care. The administrative building is physically closed so the only way to communicate is via email. The best college ever! The best opportunity in your life! Berkeley College is a small college but very professional one. You can find everything you want there, an excellent stuff who works hard and is always waiting for you, a sophisticated technology, using up different sources to make you succeed, a big stuff helping out students to finds jobs and internships, They will do everything to motivate you and prepare you for your future success. That's the way I see this college. It may be a little bit expansive but when it's about our future we have to invest first. Everything in this college is great. Let me start sharing me experience with you: I come from a small country from Europe, where we have a completely different system than here that seems to be a completely stress-free. My English level was not so good, and I still find it difficulty sometimes, but it was not a obstetrical for me at all, because all the professors helped me. And I am definitely glad for all the professors that I had, for 19 of them (5 quarters until now), they are all gorgeous. They never stop telling their student to use them as much as possible. They are respectful, patient, helpful, easy to understand, and they will try everything and every method for the student to succeed, after that is up to the students. If you do what the professors tell you to do you'll be fine, and that's what I and all my friends do. And we enjoy time in the class, we work in group, we discuss and bring new topics in class related with the lectures. And what is the beauty of Berkeley College is the diversity that it has. I consider myself lucky to have peers form different part of the world, because in an easy way help me to learn more about what's going around and try to understand other cultures too, thing that is very important if you live in a city as New York. I agree with a review here that in short terms tells that Berkeley College is a easy college to enter in because it accept everyone. That's true! Men lie, women lie, numbers don't; Berkeley College is one of the worst college in America. According to National Center for Education Statistics, the retention rate is 64 percent and the graduation rate is 30 percent. When people see these type of statistics, many people like to blame the students however in Berkeley College’s case, it’s not the students fault, it’s the school’s fault. One of the problems with Berkeley College is the financial aid. When you first come to Berkeley College, they promise you that you will graduate in 3 years however when you have to deal with the Financial aid it’s nearly impossible. Berkeley College operates on a Quarter System. And because Berkeley College operates on a Quarter system, the government can’t fund every quarter like Summer Quarter. This is a problem because students are force to pay large amount of money out of pocket. And if you can’t afford it, you have no choose but to drop the quarter and this will push back you graduation date. Berkeley College is so expensive and such a waste of money. If you’re coming from high school or another college, don't waste your money and your time. This school is not worth the tuition money you have to pay every year. You pay 30,000 plus (about $7,800 each Quarter) in tuition and with the new book policy, you will be forced to pay $300 out-of-pocket for books you will never use each Quarter. Word of advice, if you are looking for a college look somewhere else. If not be prepared to work at McDonald with a Bachelor or Associate degree.Andrew Owens

I had the worse college applying experience. This is for the Paramus NJ Campus. I was a prospective student. Unfortunately, I’m on temporary disability for now so I figured “why not go back to school to pursue my dreams?!”. Well, Berkeley admissions gave me a HORRIBLE experience. They stopped following up with me unlike other universities I applied to. No one knew what was going on in my admissions process. I gave this college money that THEY knew I didn’t have because of my disability because I wanted to attend. All of that for these fools to tell me they’re only accepting a portion of the credits I took for my associates degree. I am going to attend a prestigious university that knows what they’re doing and how to handle their prospective students. Putting effort into this college was WORTHLESS!!! I, like yourself most likely came from a place most call “less fortunate” or “impoverished” and looking for a new opportunity I stumbled across Berk through influence of my father who encouraged me to join a trade. My experience at Berk taught me a lot about myself and how far I’m willing to go for myself and my future self. Berk, like any education after High school is a classic case of “you get out of it what you make it.”. So of course experiences may vary. What I will tell you though is that they have some great people in there, that if they see you putting in the consist work; they’ll make sure you are eligible for your certification at the end of the course. Saying that from experience, there was somedays I didn’t want to go to class and it was the heart of the staff members calling me even on days I personally didn’t want them to that kept me going and kept me showing up to finish the course. I’ll conclude with this, if you are prepared to change your life not only for yourself but your loved ones today and years to come; Berk Business and Trade School can bring you at least one step closer to that. I graduated Berk Trade in October 2021 (Electrical). First I would say I was in the medical field for years . So that been said I walked into Berk Trade and Business School blind , didn’t have a clue on how I was going to do it but I knew I wanted a change of profession. I met with Miss. Judy and she gave me all the information I needed but I got discouraged because classes would of started days later. Miss Judy called me and said remember to show up on Monday for classes and I remember I said to her I don’t have everything I need to start but she said no worries the staff will help and they did just that. I can definitely say I was very nervous at first and thought that i made a big mistake because there were only 2 females in our class of 19 students . The instructors Mr. Browne and Mr.Krush , 2 thumbs up to you . I loved theory and I couldn’t wait to use my knowledge in hands on . I never saw myself bending conduit , wiring receptacles ,reading and understanding blueprints etc . Looking back I still can’t believe I did it . I DID IT . My experience at Berk has prepared me with the experience and knowledge that helped greatly with a smooth transition in my current career. My teacher Mr. Walsh taught us to troubleshoot electrical circuits, how to install service and how to calculate ohms law and apply it in load calculations which has became my bread and butter at work. THIS IS THE WORST SCHOOL IN HISTORY OF SCHOOLS!!! PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!! If I could give it zero stars I would. This has absolutely been the worst experience I have ever encountered for school. When you need help and try to reach out for assistance no one replies back to your phone calls nor emails. But some how, some way they know how to get in touch with you to get a payment every month! Forget about admission. They sit you down and tell you all these good things about the school and how long the program is for but forget to mention once your course is completed you still have to take an additional 5 week course to take your exit then your allowed to sit for your NCLEX! Oh and another thing. If you think for a second they'll let you see you grade for the exam forget about it. Once you take an exam it literally takes about 2 weeks of waiting to get your score, and if you wait on MS. Provost for your grade it will take at least 4 weeks and don't think about calling or emailing her. She's allergic to responding back to people. When asked if you can see what you got wrong she will say "wE aReNt aLlOwEd tO sHoW yOu yOuR eXam, yOuR tEsT iS pRiVaTe" like huh?? IT'S MINES! So what they do is give you the top 5 question majority of the class got wrong and that's it. The reason why I passed was because I got a tutor and paid a lot of money for it. This school constantly changes it's rule to better themselves and get more money. I really wished I attended another school because the way they do things here is ridiculous!!!! The only class where I enjoyed learning and the teachers were amazing and really cared about us understanding the course was Mr. Ramdat (mental health) and Ms. Molina (ob/peds). I had the opportunity to attend the school for my LPN and RN. The LPN program I will give them a 3/5. The RN program a 2/5. The school is not consistent in anything. They give out term schedules the day prior and then the day the term starts it’s been changed but no one has up dated the online schedule or informed students. Forget ever getting in contact with anyone at this school unless you owe them money, then all of a sudden the phone email etc work. 1/2 the teachers have DISGUSTING, UNPROFESSIONAL attitudes. Don’t even bother trying to follow your syllabus because “that’s just up there I don’t follow that I do my own thing”, as stated by an RN teacher. Or famous quote they love “WHEN YOU ARE A REAL NURSE……” in regards to the LPNs which is wow because most of us attended JC for the LPN so maybe we need our money back since we aren’t “REAL NURSEs”.. your classes will be from 7a-330/4p Mon-Fri.. they like to make a lot of comments about “you can’t pass my class if you are working”.. Every school has its good and bad but be aware of what you sign up for. The cost of this school is very high and you will have to pay for parking each term(it’s first come first serve and about 80+\- spots) or risk getting hit by a car walking if you live in NY add tolls and gas and when you have clinicals you may need to pay for parking. If you come here honestly I would only recommend there LPN program, it’s tolerable. But the RN if you choose to attend try to transfer in as many classes as you can and save up a lot of money prior to starting. Also practice holding your breath because a lot of these instructors are “Vile”N R

I can honestly say that I am super happy I chose Jersey College. They have a team of amazing instructors, that come in prepared to give you everything, all the resources you need to be successful in the program. I am honored to soon be a graduate. It took a lot of hard work, and studying but I could not have done it without the help of my theory and clinical instructors who came In to every class giving their best which made it that much easier for me to give mine. Hunter Business School helped me find a career that not only changed my life, but completely fell in love with. Covid was a blessing in disguise for me, and really made me evaluate how I'm going to change my life for the better. With being let go from my mundane office job, this was my opportunity to find a not only a stable career, but something rewarding as well. When the idea of radiography came up, I thought "This could be something I can do" and started researching school all around Long Island. HBS landed as my #1 choice. This program was not only affordable, but I would've started my career a whole year later if I attended the program at NCC. I would've been stuck taking prerequisite classes, since my college credits were more than 10 years old. With HBS, it didn't matter how long I had been out of school. I was given the same opportunity whether I was straight out of high school or changing careers later in life. Not only that, but with the accelerated program, I graduated before other schools were done and that gave me a head-start on finding a job. Last week I graduated from the Radiologic Technologist program, and I already have two dream jobs waiting for me. Today I passed my registry for my license, and I couldn't have done with without the dedicated staff at HBS. While the courses were content heavy, they made everything so clear and easy to learn, and were there for us when we needed the extra help. Attending this school has saved my life. It gave me purpose. The program showed me that I’m much stronger than I thought! I graduated in February 2021 from the x-ray technologist program. The faculty is amazing and very motivating. Many times I felt like the work was too hard, but I didn’t give up, and the teachers (especially Abe) really helped to keep me focused on my goals. So many doors have opened up for me since I graduated from the program. What’s even better is that the school helps you find a job! I graduated from NCC and John Jay prior to attending this school, and neither one of those institutions helped me get a job. In addition, the teachers at the other universities were not nearly as helpful and attentive compared to the teachers at Hunter business school. If it wasn’t for this program and all the amazing things it offers, I truly do not know where I would be today! I am eternally grateful for this school and their programs. Looking back, I have nothing but positive memories here. It was a wonderful learning experience! Abe is the best teacher ever. I’ve been attending Hunter business school Xray tech program for almost a year and I can honestly say it’s the best decision I’ve ever made. Usually Xray programs are 24 months, Hunters is 16 months(shorter but fast paced)5 days a week so it’s very time consuming. You need to be 100% dedicated and contribute most of your days studying BUT it’s so worth it at the end! Being out of school for a few years it was nerve wrecking to get into the flow of things, but because of the instructors(Mr.Abe, Mrs. Aggey, & Mrs. Joy) they continuously motivate you to be an amazing tech. Because of my lovely instructors they have molded me into a great tech making sure to be tedious to little details in this field and providing excellent care for future patients. I can’t thank Mr. Abe enough for giving me this opportunity and believing in me! Hunter has changed my life and has made me gain such a great career path and a new RAD TECH family ! Dr. V is most talented teacher at school giving incredible treatments. I have lots of issues with knees, and after treatments is almost like I never even had any pain in my knees for four years. My knees have lots going on including torn meniscus in both sides & it’s only one tiny thing along other complications with my knees. I graduated March,2022 from the Medical assistant program and start my career at Brookdale hospital this month 5/2022; this certificate and experience was so worth it! Honestly the faculty/staff is very unorganized for the surgical tech program. The only reason I went with this school is because they have many start dates, so when I inquired on the program it was starting the following month. Opposed to waiting 5-6 months to start elsewhere. This program is insanely expensive and definitely not worth the money (teachers/admin do not care about getting you information on time about your classes once you’ve enrolled/started the program. It’s very hard to get direct information.) You can absolutely find a program that is shorter and cheaper- will still get you NBSTSA certified. This school does accept Fafsa and sub/unsub loans. However the NYU program is only $15k but you need to pay in full before it starts and its a 15 month program. Swedish is about $45k of government money and it’s a 21 month+ program depending on how long it takes you to do clinicals. I don’t feel like I’m learning the job any better or faster than I would have at a different program. I feel like they are dragging out the curriculum to suit the needs of state funding requirements to keep getting the fafsa/aid, whatever. I wouldn’t recommend but everyone’s needs are different. I personally wish I would have looked into a private loan and gone to a different school so I could be done faster. Once you’re NBSTSA certified, it doesn’t matter where you went to school at all.j. “Jay” C

I am very pleased with the education received at the Swedish Institute. As a recent graduate I found myself excelling effortlessly. This school really prepares you and gives the students all knowledge, tools and resources to be a leading successful massage therapist not years after graduating but right after finishing school you are already right at the level of experienced therapists. The clients I am seeing now think I have years of experience from the results and the way my work feels and the information I give them when addressing their case or problem areas. My employers are incredibly pleased with my readiness and professionalism which the school really enforces in all classes. This is due in great part to the amazing experienced and active faculty members we are lucky to learn from and the extensive advanced curriculum in combination with an excellent clinic that allows us to get real experience which has come handy in my current practice. I’m currently enrolled at the Swedish Institute in their Massage Therapy program and wow, I’m having a great time learning! My professors have been wonderful knowledgeable people with many years of experience in the field. They have a passion for both teaching and massage which makes class fun and inspiring. One of my first classes was 100% hands-on practice, meaning I began learning massage techniques during my first term at the school. The science courses paired with the hands-on classes come together beautifully as you learn about the human body and massage all together. I feel that by the end of the program you will feel confident and more than ready to start working as a professional in the field. The school is small but gives you a home-y feeling and a great sense of community. It’s a great place to meet and network with amazing like-minded individuals. I like many older students had to re-learn how to go to school, due to taking Online/OnLive classes. I'm from the era of having a teacher in a classroom and that's it. But Devry offers both, which makes it convenient to possibly choose to either take the class online or head to the school for class. The Online classes are tremendously helpful for me, being a single parent. But I've noticed not all Professors record their classes. I don't care if only the first class was the "Live" class. When Professors have online students, recording the sessions should be the standard, not a choice. Devry does go out its way to help you resolve as many pitfalls as any student can possibly fall into. This is quite comforting for me, because being a Single parent, there's always some unaccounted for drama that I must tackle. And the Professors have worked with me in getting assignments handed in. Once class I took had one of the week's not open up for the entire class. Meaning some could see the work for the week and others couldn't. And for the online student this is terrible because you may not get to your work until the end of the week. Then you’re left struggling trying to get that resolved, so you’re not penalized with handy in assignments late. But the Professor immediately acknowledged the issue, and didn't penalize everyone. Which may sound like it's not a big deal. But for me it was huge, because it happened over a Holiday. Overall, I'm happy I chose Devry. I was looking at several other schools like southern New Hampshire University. But I chose Devry because it seemed to specialize in my major and was offering better prices with classes. I'm on a budget so class prices are huge to me. So far all I can say is, thanks Devry.steven mattocks

My experience at Keller/DeVry was a really great one. I love, love, love the fact that the professors are very knowledgeable in their field, have industry experience and could bring real life examples and situations to the classroom. The course curriculum has helped to prepare me for the real (corporate) world – Thank God for the numerous group and individual projects which have really helped me thus far. Honestly I was somewhat sad to leave – the environment felt like family, and on another hand I was happy because I had no more studying and assignments to do :-). The academic advisors are all GREAT (Shout out to my former Advisor, Kareema). I have to also shout out Addie who is the International Student (and Student Services) Manager, she is such a great addition to the team – I can truly say that she LOVES her job and the students, she is very knowledgeable and exceptionally good at what she does – she puts a lot of love and care into it! (Thank you Addie). Career services is also free and GREAT (Shout out to Brandy Hernandez!), they’ve really worked with me to help me complete my resume, prepare for job interviews, build my Linked in profile and also with my job search! Interviewers were impressed and the best part is that I didn’t have to pay anyone to provide me with any of those services. Overall my experience at Keller was GREAT, I’ve had many great encounters both with the professors and other members of staff! I was so excited on getting back to school and complete my career expectations VIRTUAL but this university is a rip off and Scam , I had a couple of college degrees from FL state and Canada that were supposed to count towards my program and decrease my time to get a degree and I was told that I CAN GET MY DEGREE IN TWO YEARS but now I was just inform it's not two years but three to four more years and the other issues is that this season and the previous I had a couple of professors that were out of the country the whole semester impossible to get a hold on them, no live classes. one was in Russia or something and the other one in Singapore the whole semester so due to the hour difference it was impossible to get a hold on them besides the fact that all the videos of reference were coming from a YOUTUBE WEBSITE !! how professional (sarcasms) Do your research before signing. I want to say that the Allen School of Health Sciences wasn’t my first choice. I only wanted to get more information about the school. My daughter recommended this school to me. I came and spoke to Ms. Hunter about enrolling in classes. I passed my entrance exam with flying colors and enrolled in their four-week course. I paid off my tuition before classes started. Something came over me before starting that kept saying “I’m going to be a failure” and that I shouldn’t bother to go. I called the school to cancel and spoke with Ms. Zabida. She was very strong and shocked about my statement and said she was going to have Ms Hunter call me. I spoke to my husband who told me that a quitter won’t win and a winner never quits. Soon after Joy gave me a call and said “Ms. Bucknor you can’t quit, you have to reach your goal.” I then spoke with one of the directors, Robert. Rob gave me some great advice and we ended the discussion with “Happy Holiday and I will be seeing you on campus next week.” It made me so happy to speak with them. The nervousness did not go away because it was a long time since I sat in a classroom chair. I even had difficulty sleeping. But, with the help of my classmates and my instructor Ms. July I succeeded and completed the program with an A average! I want to thank my teacher, classmates, and husband for all the support. PALS/ACLS with Thomas Cappiello First let me say I was gonna cancel the morning I had to do my first class, running on 2 hours of sleep and learning was not on my mind. So glad I didn't, the staff at the front desk welcomed me with warm greetings as I entered let me know where my class was and gave me my materials. The instructor walked in greeted everyone and introduced himself and began class on time. he made the class interactive, fun, easy to understand, speak clear and worked one on one with anyone that needed extra help understanding. before we went to the next subject he was sure to ask if anyone had any questions or didn't understand something waited for and answer then continued. The equipment was clean, intact and worked well. facility was clean, cool, and kept us in a distance for Covid regulations. there was more than adequate time to complete the exam. I left there feeling great about the material i learned, and competent to use it in my work and family life. Have trouble deciphering heart blocks? Tommy is your guy here. 2 steps and you’ll be able to differentiate first, second, and third degree heart blocks in 5 minutes. As a critical care nurse for ten years, no one has explained it the way Tommy has. As this was a renewal course, class was shortened to 4 hours, but Tommy made the class enjoyable. He ran scenarios until the students understood everything. He also covered everything that was on the written exam and drilled into our heads what we needed to remember. He does go over things fast but is very patient in explaining and answering any questions if you’re confused. Smart boards were utilized to show rhythms and mimicked options for synchronized cardioversion and shock. Bonus: If you didn’t purchase the version of the ACLS book, they allow you to borrow it during the course. Should you decide that you want to purchase, you can buy at the end of the course. In two years, I hope to be able to reschedule with Tommy again.REBECCA HO

Excellent place to learn/ renew your requirements, or just get BLS trained if you want to be. Making the appointments was so easy, there were plenty of choices to choose to suit your schedule. I needed to reschedule my appointment and it was easy and straightforward. Everyone who works there os very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
