I saw The Messiah here on Sunday. Campus is unbelievable and it was wonderful to feel God's presence on a school campus again. The entire production was amazing and I could not have enjoyed it more. It's very worth finding out more about the story of how it was written first, so when you watch it live you'll have a deeper appreciation. A whole lot has changed since I was attending here. The name of the mascot has changed. Also this was called Point Loma Nazarene College. Speaking of changes, one thing that hopefully hasn't changed is the cafeteria food, most college cafeteria food SUCKS…NOT HERE…the food is/was catered by Marriot. Solid school. Easy(ish) to navigate. Some of the buildings are far apart and depending on your classes you might have only 10 minutes to go all the way across campus. The staff is friendly and try to help anyone navigate the school, so don't worry! Each building is clearly labeled and maps are everywhere so it's hard to get lost. There's tons of socializing areas and seating for different gatherings. Some of the popular places would be the courtyard with the fountains or the large hill in the center of campus. The campus also has a variety of food options, so whether you want smoothies, coffee, pizza, pastries or a salad there are options all around!Zena Krimzon

They have no idea how to teach what you will need in the state of Kansas. They will use other professors lectures and do not want to answer questions or teach you. So yeah if you want to teach yourself from a book and have a bunch of assignments due constantly this is the place for you. You will find yourself googling topics and watching YouTube videos to learn it. Multiple (at least 3 that I know of) people in my class complained to the chair.C

I am taking a welding certificate so I can work in the welding workforce. I want to work for the olathe railroad welding force after college. Then maybe do some underwater welding I have not quite decided. If I do I have to take a scubadiving class to get certified in that. As a student of West Valley-Mission College District, I was able to attend this college for one class which was listed on the same transcript at Mission College. It is a nice campus and more of a suburban feel to it. The instructor was nice and helpful. If it was closer to my home, I would have gone to this campus for more classes.Bill Fong

They try to keep you here longer than necessary and do not give you the correct information to transfer. The science teachers are often terrible and actively try to fail students. It has become so bad that students are trying to get them fired. I have yet to meet someone who has met a counselor and not been given misinformation.Thea Queen

I'm a recent graduate of the LPN program and currently an RN student. The nursing program for me has not been an easy one, I have run into a lot of personal challenges inside of my own life with family and other issues. One thing I know for sure, is that the staff at lake area want you to succeed and are always there to help when you need it. I don't always agree with their methods however they are always willing to listen and try to make their program better through any suggestions. The instructors of the nursing programs have a lot to deal with, students including myself are very emotional and the instructors do their best to help us power through. Lake Area technical college also has counseling available for free to any student and it is exceptional. The college wants you to succeed, they are always there to help ,you just have to ask for help. I am forever changed for the better because of the kindness generosity and patience of the instructors as well as other staff at lake area. I can't compare it to any other college, because I have not had an experience anywhere else but if you are looking for a place that you can have a good support system with people who love their job, strive to always do better, and sincerely care about you then this is the place for you.Desirae Snyder

Incompetent….called to verify my daughter's tuition amount the gal told me two different amounts. Then when I went in to pay I asked them to verify all classes and credits were accounted for and she confirmed they were. I was then given a different amount then what I was given on the phone.A month later I am told I owe them more money , when I asked why they told me credits were added after my payment was made that day. The staff obviously can't read a computer screen when asked. When I confronted them on it, I got a run around , they wouldn't take responsibility for the error. They were told that they would not get a dime if my child attends next fall until a print out of everything is given to me and all classes and credits are accounted for so prevent this from happening again. I have other children who have attended college as well as myself and I have never had a issue like this.Amanda Anderson

My Business Administration Management class was amazing, I learned so much and I am carrying it with everywhere I go. Some people do not like it and so do. My instructor was so brilliant and I am so proud and thankful for him. With his support and all of SJVC workers, instructors, and all around everyone, I was able to get threw this pandemic we are still having and graduate with a 4.0 and being on the deans list. Great school for a community college. I heard it’s the best around. Many students come from San Diego or from the North just to go here. They do a lot of things by hand (compared to other schools that do things electronically). The grounds are well kept. The parking is horrible during the beginning of the semester. More parking will be available as time comes. When you register for a class, you need to pay the same day or you get dropped. If you’ve dropped a lot of classes, the school might give you a hold because the classes are impacted. There is a daycare center. Parking permits and books are relatively cheaper than most.Aurora A

Good School. The campus is breath taking. Views of the ocean in the dining hall and surrounding areas. Tons of plants and trees all around, a great variety. Staff are helpful. Parking is a struggle, unless you don't mind parking in dirt lots but then it's not worth buying a parking permit. As for professors and academia, they could improve. Both my wife and I were returning college students and Stark State Alumni class of 2012. We both received a great education. She went for respiratory therapy and I went for Graphic Design. The graphic design program was wonderful. The professors were all very knowledgeable and really cared about their students (huge shout outs to Michelle Lash and Eugene Starr). The classes are small and it's very easy to schedule time with the professors if you need help or need to go over some things. It's also nice to have online classes if that's your thing. For the younger students (and older alike), Stark State also hooks you up with SALT at no charge after graduation, which is a useful tool to help find employement after graduation. Luckily I furthered my career without having to use SALT. The biggest recommendation I could suggest would be to offer more of certain classes. Sometimes only one class is offered a semester and can conflict with working hours. Thank you, Stark State and to all of my professors for giving me a great education and giving me a fighting chance in the workforce after graduation. For those who are seeking four year degrees and beyond, Stark State is definitely a great (and affordable) place to start.stephen slusny

I attended Stark State College a number of years ago when it was Stark Technical College. I am surprised by the negative reviews, because I had a great experience at the school. I graduate with a degree in Computer Technology, and the courses were challenging and taught me a lot. I still remember some of the great instructors like Mrs. McBride in my math classes. I even worked there part-time for about a year doing LAN Administration. They have provided me with a foundation for a very successful career in IT. I later completed my Bachelor degree at Kent State. I am currently completing my MBA. I was able to get a copy of my transcripts, even after graduating 25 years ago, by faxing in a request. I did this for two different Universities, and they arrived within a week. In this age there should be a way to do it electronically like Kent State, but at least they do not charge you for them. Overall I had an excellent experience and they prepared me for a very rewarding career in Computer Technology. I absolutely have no regrets about this school, and I enjoyed my time there.Kevin Frazier

I can not believe Stark State has less than 4 stars! This is my second semester and I LOVE it! The faculty are truly amazing and extremely helpful! This college also offers small class room sizes which makes learning more personal. Your teachers and professors always do their best to know each student by name. It is also extremely great for working folks who have busy work loads. They have many courses that can virtually work with any type of schedule. There are many success programs that Stark State offers, including assistance with any subject as well as a great Accommodations program for those with any learning disability/disability from minor to severe. Stark State also always keeps their students in the know through text message and emails. They give you the tools you need in order to succeed. Highly recommend this college!elisabeth brian

A good school where you get out what you put in. Many trains stop within walking distance and buses as well. Just like any college, depending on your major, you will find good and bad professors. So always make use of the rate my professor website. I had a very pleasant experience. The administration was more competent than other schools I went to and my issues were always solved within a reasonable amount of time. The facilities I had to use for my major were in even better condition compared to some four year schools. The wifi coverage was good. Plenty of cafeterias with the best one being in the E building. Plenty of food trucks with different types of foods. Lots of seating areas with electrical ports. The class scheduling was workable with enough sections to fit almost everyone. Can't speak for any other major but it felt like that overall. They are always hiring new adjuncts so it's not the same professor teaching that one section you need all the time that everyone says is horrible. Always stay on top of your things if you want to have them resolved quickly. That's the part you play in your college years. The hand holding stops after High School. All I can say is, relax a little and have some fun. At the end of the day grades won't show the strength of your character after all is said and done.Mounia B

It seems like professors like the one I got Professor Arnold who acts likes she is going through the motions and don't there . i felt I waste my time and money which I paid out of pocket in her class and is thinking about leaving the college. She is one of the worst teachers/professors i ever had . I think cause it a community college a lot of them are mad cause they can't teach in a four year college through out of the community colleges in NY LaGuardia is the best . That being said she is the third professors that I had that sleeps walks through their class and I had another one that did something that weren't cool and I didn't show up for her class and never got an apology from her. Im currently in my last year at LaGuardia (majoring in business) and i have to say the Business department is full of AMAZING professors. Classes are really easy (most of them except accounting unless you're good at it) and the students are cool. I, personally, never talked to anyone or made any friends because I'm not an outgoing person. The school is constantly going under renovations and they just finished the new library and it looks AMAZING, as if it was a library from an ivy league. Food isn't that great but what do you expect, its school food [not free of course]. Most professors are very kind. The school as reopened for in-person learning. The food and library are open. Staff, students, and visitors will need to fill out a health screen to be on campus. (I'd say take a screenshot to easily show the green check) The construction in the middle of campus is done and the beautiful campus is opened up. I like the school, and the professors are great. All of the professors I have taken have been kind. However, the staff- Araceli the manager from the mission college bookstore is extremely rude. She lacks customer service skills. She will yell at you in front of the entire store to the point where everyone is staring. In a time when unique challenges presented themselves, the College of Eastern Idaho dug in. Nice and clean campus seems to be well organized, the technical department seems very organized with all the tools and the training necessary to be prepared for my job. The campus was so clean and so organized that I think I will sign my wife up so she can start classes in the fall. Such a terrible experience trying to just consider registering, that I am now no longer interested. I called to make an appointment with an academic adviser. I was put on hold for 20 mins without ever speaking to a human or given any other option. After 20 minutes, I hung up and called the main number. She said, "well, I can't do much, but they have direct number I can transfer you to." So, she transferred me. To some random faculty member in some department I had no interest in. That person was very nice and told me she'd walk my request over, and have someone call me back from advising. They did call me back to set up an appointment, which we did. However, I was driving and couldn't write down the details, so she assured me she would email me all the info. Of course, I never received the info. So, I just called to cancel my appointment. The overwhelming impression I got was one of incompetence, inefficiency, and that the right had didn't know what the left had was doing. Oh, and it's a half hour wait on the phone to even speak to the right hand. I was a new student, contemplating studying here. But after the way I was dealt with on the phone on my very first interaction, I now have ZERO interest in attending, and will continue my search for a school that has its act together, and knows what they are doing. I have had nothing but Positive Experiences since I have been at Edmonds Community College for the last 4 months now. I am going through the Workfirst Program at the Gateway Bldg. They had me go through the Solid Foundations Course & a College Sucess course. before I started my summer courses of Math, English; Critical Writing, & another 2-credit Write class. All of the Instructors that I have had are amazing, they helped me in every aspect of figuring out what I wanted to take by different surveys & then they help to walk you through getting your all of your Financial Documents in order & get registered for all of my classes over the next 2-years while I am working on my Degree. Your Education has gone elsewhere. Programs last year were changed invalidating most of my credits. Classes they used to offer in Math and Sciences are no longer being offered despite having brand new facilities just built. It is going through a strategic pivot from a transfer and foreign exchange college to a "social improvement" center. This University is not a safe place to send your child if you care about them and their safety. I spent two semesters living on campus, my freshman year and they were the worst months of my life; communal bathrooms are not clean, things are broken often and do not get fixed, and security cameras are few and far between. The campus itself is not in a good neighborhood, which is a common fear of most people. Administration has done nothing to make the campus safer, there are not any cameras in parking lots, the cameras in the municipal parking garage do not work, and people are able to walk on to campus even if they do not attend the school. Young children steal student's bikes in broad daylight and grown adults walk onto the campus as well. The cafeteria food is not good and the staff is 99.9% of the time very rude, and you may get a plate of food thrown at you even if you are polite. I have witnessed people be served raw chicken, romaine lettuce when there was an E. coli outbreak, and also contract E. coli. The Bursar's office constantly removed and added money to my account saying one day I owed X amount of dollars and then one day I owed Y amount of dollars, and whenever I asked why my balance fluctuated during the semester, they had no answer. Financial aid is not easy to deal with especially if your family makes a mid-range income. If you household income is low or very high, do not expect to pay a lot per year. The social environment is like high school: judgmental and everyone stays in their own "clique" The only reason I will give this "university" a 2-star review is because the professor's do care about you and your success. They will work with you, and help you when need be. Every professor I had only wanted their students to succeed, and nothing else (with the exception of a woman who just had graduated from college and did not know the subject which she was teaching).Ashlynne Donovan

This school is one of the best veteran friendly schools in the U.S. currently we are in the top 100, we even have our own USO sponsored lounge called the defenders den where we can be around fellow veterans. The classes here are incredible and the professors genuinely care and thrive off interaction. You will not become another gear in the chain at this university, also the campus even though small is absolutely gorgeous. The worst school ever! I did a year at JU and lived on campus! there is nothing to do! You will be bored out of your mind if you are from the north. The staff was unhelpful, and forget about getting any extra financial help. This college should be closed. It is unorganized from top to bottom, from admissions and transcripts to financial aid and registration. Teachers do not teach anything just say read, they miss lots of classes without any notice to the students. I also feel they do not like Caucasians there! There is no respect for anyone (I'm from another country and I was shocked when I saw this). I was taking the MLT program it was a horror. The teacher Miss Stephanie Bell does not teach anything at all and will not answer any questions u less you make an appointment. How rediculous is that? You can't ask I question in her sorry excuse for a lecture where she gets paid to read straight from the textbook! The whole class had very poor grades, no one was passing this class. But in the middle of the semester magicly the students had the answers to all the test I assume Miss Bell gave the students the answers to the tests and exams because she was in a bad situation. If I could give this place negative stars, I absolutely would. I was treated POORLY. I can't think of a worse word to use. The absolute worst professors, doubt any of them have degrees themselves. The material was SO different than the tests for all but math (I took 2 biology's and a medical terminology). I may have wasted 2 semesters here because I have trouble saying I even learned anything. Barbara Hollis, biology professor, was the WORST woman I have ever met in my life. She failed numerous times to help me and other students and was just plain ridiculous, having no understanding for her students and was too full of herself to help her own students. She thought she was "too smart" and felt it necessary to mention her sad accomplishments every time a student doubted her or asked for help. Veteran Review: I attended COTC and graduated with an Associates in Nursing. I can say that it was very cumbersome to attend COTC as a veteran. I utilized my Tuition assistance and needed to "push them along" the entire way. Every semester I had to contact veterans affairs and tell them what I needed them to do to approve TA. My understanding is that they needed prompted in every way and every time I needed something completed to allow me access to my tuition assistance. This includes having to pay for a semester out of pocket do to their delay in assistance and lack of ability to complete my necessary needs on their own. From my understanding, they should understand this. I am currently attempting to apply for my bachelors 2 semesters later and I am unable to receive tuition assistance, because COTC has not submitted my graduated status to TA and I am unable to attend classes as a consequence to said incident. All said and done: If you are a veteran, be prepared to coax COTC along to get what you need.SSG Ben Moran RN

I had a very close immediate relative die during summer semester. When my immediate relative had a stroke, I did not notify my professors on the matter. Sorry, my thoughts are not on telling my online professors about my relative bleeding in the brain. My time was spent in the hospital, hospice, and at work. I missed a few assignments but notified my professors at my earliest convenience. The work was completed. Professor Sample for PSY-210-NA failed me on multiple assignments, accused me of plagiarizing from a blog, and is the reason I will not be graduating this semester from COTC. The plagiarizing accusation is because I had "similar sentences of a blog post." What a joke. Never take a class as Professor Sample as your professor. Do yourself a favor and just go to a different school. I will NOT be going back there. President Coe and other faculty members at COTC I contacted did not help in any matter. Of course, they took the side of Professor Sample.Adam A

I… HATE… COTC! Its the nightmare that will never end. My husband leaves for the military in one week… His recruiter needs his college transcript, so that he can get a higher ranking, more pay and one of the jobs he wants. All he needs is the transcript. We went in on the 22nd and paid extra to have the transcript sent. They told us they would send it out that day or the next. Well today we saw his recruiter and he STILL hasn't received the transcript. We went into COTC and had to talk to them AGAIN about this. Oh did I forget to mention that when my husband first started seeing his recruiter, he paid extra to have his transcript and then they handed it to my husband, therefore making it unacceptable to the Air Force. This is not even close to the first problem either of us has had with them. Oh, maybe you all should check out there 'graduation rate.' Less than 20 percent of people even graduate! I am in my sixth week taking online courses at MATC. I have chosen the IT Support Associate Degree program, for two reasons: One the program is only two years, I’ll be able to launch into the job market faster, and because IT is such a diverse, and fast growing career path, I know I will find a fit into the IT world upon graduation. I chose MATC because MATC is convenient and conventional. I can take classes online, at my own pace, and be on campus for the classes I need more focus and dedication to. This IT program combined with my 10 plus years customer service experience, I know I will be able to reach any career goal I set. Now, while my interest in computers and knack for problem solving I know this career path will be suitable for me, however, to any prospective student looking for a quick money type of career, this program is not for you. This program consists of lots of physical and mental work, also taking consideration of the customers you are serving. If a prospective student welcomes challenges and is comfortable with asking questions and not feeling intimidated by the mass amount of information you will retain then this is a program for you. Prospective students should also be aware that they don’t have to work or figure stuff out alone, one of my favorite accommodations is having access to tutoring, whether online or in person- at all campuses. Fellow future students should also know that acquiring their degree at MATC is a smart money move, students can save thousands of dollars getting their education here, as opposed to a four year college/university. Information Technology is very informative program. This program breaks down a lot of things that can happen with computer systems. It is a to-date program. I choose this program because I want to go more in depth with technology. Everyone uses technology every day. I would like to be able to assist those who are not tech savvy. MATC I.T support program has a great path program. Pathway allows you get a few certificates take a break and come back for your diploma. Completing this program will give the knowledge and skill I need to become an I.T professional. Instructors are very helpful. Staff is friendly. My experience in MATC IT Computer Support Specialist program is limited but good so far. I chose to pursue this degree because it lines up well with my current work experience and career goals. So far, I have been able to take all my classes online with no scheduled class times, so I can complete assignments at my own pace without interfering with my work schedule. Another thing this program does well, is that it offers options to achieve many different certifications on your way to a degree. Horrible experience!! Everybody is supposed to be young adults however my daughter was bullied and they did nothing!!! Correction, when my daughter made threats to her tormentors so they would back off the school had a officer call me and she began yelling at me, really verbally assulting me about how bad of a mother I was! They called DCF on me and the guy who shows up at my house says the principle remarked that I sounded lethargic during our phone call which made me feel like she was suggesting that I didn't care or was high (which btw I am a single mom working a full time job overnight while school personnel are sleeping only to come home in enough time to get my kids ready and off to school before I can sleep!!!!!😑) 2 days after the incident they removed my daughter from school and baker acted (put her in a mental institution against her will) her!!! They told me this after they did it so I had to find her. At least the male officer who took her to the institution was careful with his words and respectful towards me. She was alone and scared in a locked room for 2 days without her shoestrings, bra (her underwire is considered a weapon) or phone before being evaluated and immediately released after their psych doctor found nothing wrong with her. It was tearfully agonizing for us; Meanwhile her bullies got to remain in school UNPUNISHED and the school personnel involved never apologized for what they put us through. The end result was another blow to her confidence and ability to trust people and she stopped going to classes to get prepared for her GED. Please consider our nightmare before enrolling your child as this was the best path they chose to handle my child's situation. I swear I don't know how they sleep at night knowing how they failed her!! EDITED: Your response is incorrect. This happened to my daughter at the mid florida oakridge campus a few years back. Now that I have become a guide I wanted to leave this review of what happened to my family because of your school. I went in today on April 20th to register for school the man at front desk was not a greeter of new students at all. He was on the phone and acted as if his personal phone conversation was more important than being of any assistance to providing me with what the school offered. He wasn't informative of what the school offered. I went to ask he a question and he acted as if I was a bother too him while being rude to others as he spoke to them. He replied very rudely when I told him that I needed his undivided attention to explain too me about the program. He goes WHAT DO YOU NEED! I TOLD HIM IT SEEMS LIKE YOUR PHONE CALL IS MORE IMPORTANT! I applied online, did all the steps and applied for FAFSA but couldn’t get ahold of anyone there. They let the phone ring until they finally send it straight to voicemail. Someone picked up first ring but all I heard was a woman breathing and mumbling to herself completely ignoring me after I acknowledged myself multiple times. Super unprofessional of OTC to expect so much money for these programs but can’t even give us a call back.tamar Collington

I appreciate Rasmussen University for having an abundance of resources and many professors and other staff members who demonstrate they want students to succeed. I especially have enjoyed being a peer educator, being privileged to work with Tammy Hopps who is an excellent supervisor and leader, and also being able to work with other peer educators who care for their peers as much as I do. I transferred from a local state college, which I considered sticking with to save money, but in reality, not much is saved when you compare the timeframe for graduation. At the state college it would take me an extra 2 whole years to receive my BSN, whereas at Rasmussen I save 2 years of time because of their second-degree BSN option. I am very pleased with the quality of technology – at the state school blackboard and other resources were slow and did not work as well on my cell phone, whereas with Rasmussen I can easily access everything I need from my phone when I'm on the go. It's inspiring to see so many single parents and married parents in school, some of which also work full time or part time like myself while completing their degree. I had such high hopes when enrolling at this school. However my experience hasn't been favorable at all. I am a current student and I was disappointed because even though I was able to enroll and start classes I really felt unsupported on this journey. I'm realizing Rasmussen may not be the school for me. I REALLY thought I would be supported and encouraged. I was made to feel that Rasmussen would be rooting for me through my academic journey. Instead I am bombarded with emails and calls telling me what I already know… I owe money. No calls or emails about how I can be helped to budget so that I can pay more toward the balance. I'm only being told: what I owe, to get the balance down to $500-$1000 and to take out loans; which will only put me in debt and it's too early to be taking out loans when I've been in school since September of 2021 and have 2 more years. Also this school doesn't cater to single parents, limited income and individuals that HAVE to work. This school ONLY has day classes for the nursing program and as I said before I HAVE to work full time.Sherria Clark

This morning I called the university for the North Orlando Campus for the Nursing program and spoke to the director of Nursing who was discusstingly rude on the phone. I called to get information, He had no patience and told me Not to proceed a career in Nursing because it was Not for me. This was a university that I was so excited to be a part of and be a graduate of Nursing. The director needs to be Fired because he is giving the university a bad reputation. Are you a working individual looking to earn a degree? Don’t go to Harrisburg Community College. This college uses Technology that is not easy to learn and I am good with Computers. Want to speak with a Advisor, well my advisor lives in South Carolina so I can only conduct a meeting via Zoom, the college is taking ALL personal interactions away. And working individuals…well i hope your not trying to spend any time with family and friends because I leave my 40 hour week job and I do school work for 5-8 hours a night and on my weekends. Forget about spending anytime with my wife and three children….I am taking 3 classes. Don’t ask the teachers a question, they just refer you to the syllabus…well clearly I am asking you a question because I didn’t understand it. I am military, yesterday I had duty and i didn’t get my project submitted, I logged in tonight to submit the project and the instructor removed the instructions, and locked the drop box so I couldn’t submit the assignment. I could keep going but I don’t have time…if your a working individual, don’t fall for the things they tell you.William Bricker

If I could give this institution a lower than one star rating, I would. For a community college, the course costs, books, and fees seem to be immense. I had professors who took half or more of the class periods to talk about themselves, personal topics and politics. I’ve also had professors assign English paper topics about personal things and I imagine he laughed at the student’s papers later in his free time. The required intro to college class professor had us playing with popsicle sticks and jars of rocks and sand. The certifying official for the VA office submitted my paperwork incorrectly. I dropped my classes and incurred debt because of how poorly the education at HACC is. They seem to be all about the money and not the education or students. I can’t even request a transcript for my new school because of “debts” to HACC. I no longer live in Pennsylvania and I am now attending a MUCH better school, and I am very glad. I would never recommend this school to anyone. This is not a good school, don’t waste your money and time.SMK3181

Most professors are nice but my overall experience was bad. I went here to try to accomplish a 2 year degree but every time course selection came around they didn’t have the classes I needed so I got stuck taking hardly any credits each semester. The majority of advanced classes are online only. They offer almost zero advanced courses in a classroom. So happy I made the decision to transfer. Not to mention how every time I scheduled a meeting with an advisor it either got cancelled without notice or they changed me to a new advisor who could not give me a single piece of useful advice.Kate

THIS IS THE WORST SCHOOL IN HISTORY OF SCHOOLS!!! PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!! If I could give it zero stars I would. This has absolutely been the worst experience I have ever encountered for school. When you need help and try to reach out for assistance no one replies back to your phone calls nor emails. But some how, some way they know how to get in touch with you to get a payment every month! Forget about admission. They sit you down and tell you all these good things about the school and how long the program is for but forget to mention once your course is completed you still have to take an additional 5 week course to take your exit then your allowed to sit for your NCLEX! Oh and another thing. If you think for a second they'll let you see you grade for the exam forget about it. Once you take an exam it literally takes about 2 weeks of waiting to get your score, and if you wait on MS. Provost for your grade it will take at least 4 weeks and don't think about calling or emailing her. She's allergic to responding back to people. When asked if you can see what you got wrong she will say "wE aReNt aLlOwEd tO sHoW yOu yOuR eXam, yOuR tEsT iS pRiVaTe" like huh?? IT'S MINES! So what they do is give you the top 5 question majority of the class got wrong and that's it. The reason why I passed was because I got a tutor and paid a lot of money for it. This school constantly changes it's rule to better themselves and get more money. I really wished I attended another school because the way they do things here is ridiculous!!!! The only class where I enjoyed learning and the teachers were amazing and really cared about us understanding the course was Mr. Ramdat (mental health) and Ms. Molina (ob/peds). They should teach at universities not this place.Moriah Long

I had the opportunity to attend the school for my LPN and RN. The LPN program I will give them a 3/5. The RN program a 2/5. The school is not consistent in anything. They give out term schedules the day prior and then the day the term starts it’s been changed but no one has up dated the online schedule or informed students. Forget ever getting in contact with anyone at this school unless you owe them money, then all of a sudden the phone email etc work. 1/2 the teachers have DISGUSTING, UNPROFESSIONAL attitudes. Don’t even bother trying to follow your syllabus because “that’s just up there I don’t follow that I do my own thing”, as stated by an RN teacher. Or famous quote they love “WHEN YOU ARE A REAL NURSE……” in regards to the LPNs which is wow because most of us attended JC for the LPN so maybe we need our money back since we aren’t “REAL NURSEs”.. your classes will be from 7a-330/4p Mon-Fri.. they like to make a lot of comments about “you can’t pass my class if you are working”.. Every school has its good and bad but be aware of what you sign up for. The cost of this school is very high and you will have to pay for parking each term(it’s first come first serve and about 80+\- spots) or risk getting hit by a car walking if you live in NY add tolls and gas and when you have clinicals you may need to pay for parking. If you come here honestly I would only recommend there LPN program, it’s tolerable. But the RN if you choose to attend try to transfer in as many classes as you can and save up a lot of money prior to starting. Also practice holding your breath because a lot of these instructors are “Vile”N R

I can honestly say that I am super happy I chose Jersey College. They have a team of amazing instructors, that come in prepared to give you everything, all the resources you need to be successful in the program. I am honored to soon be a graduate. It took a lot of hard work, and studying but I could not have done it without the help of my theory and clinical instructors who came In to every class giving their best which made it that much easier for me to give mine. If I had to choose again I would pick Jersey College everytime.Georrina Lampley

I'd be very wary with this school. They don't pay the teachers for their full work. Instead ONLY pay them for the time they're with students and none of the prep. I don't know how this is legal, but it's robbing the students of an adequate education, and exploiting the teachers hard work. High turn over rate. The place is poorly run and managed. A lot of misinformation. The school lacks a lot of basic supplies to teach, and lacked even a first aid kit.Willie Garcia

I am the parent of a student. I am very disappointed in the graduation venue they chose for these students who have worked so hard. First off everyone is talking through the ceremony, the sound system horrible, and awful old school auditorium. How disrespectful to the students to provide such a venue. I'm angry, and hurting for these students. To pay the high price they skimped on the celebration. Embarrassing and shame on the school.Cindy Cooper

I went to the Nursing program here after being CNA for several years, attending the program and getting licensed was the best decision I have ever made. The professors and instructors were very supportive. Most of the students were very motivated, if you’re motivated to get it done this is the school to attend, less wait lists and less stressful pre-reqs requirements. Best of luck!Gamachis Achamyeleh
