The advisors are literally the worst I have seen. They are basically unaware of how to advise, impossible to reach, don't follow through, and give no recommendations on pre requisite classes. Now the health science department is even worse. The instructors pride themselves on a high failure percentage. They deviate from school policy and ALL Bio 210 and 211 professors are arrogant and unwilling to support your child. Stay away from the arrogant professors, AND they don't care about your future.AB Gentry

this technical college is the best technical college in south carolina, there was a problem with the workers at the edgefield campus, they lost my transcripts, and they tried to cancel my advisement appointment so they could meet their boyfriend in the parking lot, the students at the edgefield campus were rude, and trashy, they are not going to stop me from going there, the classes that you have to take are wonderful, the instructional methods are excellentJessica Taylor

This is a neighborhood school in the cheraw/Chesterfield region. A really nice size school. Within is pleasantly improved and there is a data window just as an understudy administration window. They pass by room numbers, which isn't excessively useful. I really went to a couple of various entryway until I arrived at the right area. The school should put indications of the specific offices so guests will have no issues once nearby grounds of tracking down the right office. A portion of the staff isn't useful. It is difficult to contact individuals and they don't return calls. I don't suggest this area except if you can't resist. This is a local area community college in the cheraw/Chesterfield area. A pretty decent size school. The inside is nicely decorated and there is a information window as well as a student service window. They go by room numbers, which is not too helpful. I actually went to a few different door until I landed at the right location. The school should put signs of the particular departments so that visitors will have no issues once on campus grounds of finding the correct department. Some of the staff is not helpful. It is hard to reach people and they do not return phone calls. I do not recommend this location unless you can't help it. Great place to learn. Helps you get your credits for a lot cheaper than basically anywhere else. Teachers are great. School has a lot of events open to every student. I thought the school was okay in the beginning until I realized how unorganized it was as I continued the courses. For 1, there have been teachers coming in and out of the school taking turns teaching every other quarter. I DO NOT like that because some of the teachers are great. I do dislike that they would have 1 teacher teaching for multiple courses. That is very ridiculous simply because many of the teachers that teach more than 1 course just can't teach at all and doesn't care about anything but the money they are making. There has been a numerous amount of times I have tried to have my financial aid fixed and nothing was ever done about it. Honestly everyone please just save your money and go to a better school because this school is a joke. Oh and another thing when the accreditation people went to check it out the staff was running around like chicken heads. I was seriously like well where was that urgency when many of the students needed help and assistance with their courses and financial aid. Many of the day time teachers are terrible and Ms.Atwell is just dumb founded and cant teach. Shes the dumbest teacher to be able to teach medical classes and she seems very lost like she doesnt know what shes doing like seriously!? If this school continuously goes the way it is going right now I will seriously contact all higher ups pertaining to this school because I seriously feel like I am wasting my time and money and so does other students who are not speaking up.Lovely One

I attended Gwinnett College in 2011 and graduated in 2013 from the Medical Assisting program. I have met so many great people from this school and fell in love with all the staff. Mrs. Perkins was my medical instructor and although she was tough at the end of my course I couldn't have asked for a better instructor. Mrs. Mclario helped me in more ways than one, She encouraged me to continue on and to go ahead with the Medical program when I was so hesitant about the program I wanted to attend. She helped me with my resume on many separate occasions with 2 different jobs. Mrs. Llewellyn helped me with my NCCT certification and sending my resumes to different job sites. Lenny Davis is the Vice President of the school and has always helped me in every way possible and as always been friendly and kind to me. MR\r. Sherman Anderson the director of the massage program and PT program was my trainer when I was a student there. HE encouraged me to eat healthy and stay fit and although told me I was out of shape It was great encouragement to a healthier life. Thanks to all the staff who has been such a blessing and a great help in furthering my career s a Medical assistant. This is such a great place to attend College and I wouldn't recommend another site.Laura Calderon

I am so happy the Sandy Springs campus has expanded their programs. and received their accreditation so quickly. That just proves that when you are doing it right, it gets noticed. One of the most unique and valuable qualities that Gwinnett College utilizes is truly being there for the students. When I was in college students were just a number, and it can seem overwhelming , but you guys bridge that gap so well. I admire how you help the students from start to finish. I've watched the staff really listen to what the students concerns are, and you are willing to work with those. And at the end, all the programs have such a great team helping with job placement. More colleges should be like you are and be as flexible as you are with students 18-80. Keep up the good work, there are so many people who need what you've got!Lorraine Rogers

Great local university offering a solid education, but lacking administration. For its size, USC Upstate offers an impressive number of courses, specializing in education and nursing. The vast majority of professors employed at Upstate are talented individuals and gifted teachers, very skilled at imparting knowledge on students. The actual grounds and structures of Upstate are well kept up, and consistently being updated, improved, and added on. As an alumnus, I am thoroughly happy with the education that I received at Upstate. My only complaint about Upstate is the administrative department. Admissions, financial aid, and any other non-education portion of the school seems disconnected and completely unaware. I frequently had to call or stop by to address what seemed to be extremely minor issues, only to spend hours running around to find a fix. My wife applied, never received an acceptance letter, but she later received a confirmation of financial aid. Never assume they've handled an issue that you have any concerns about. USC Upstate is a great school, one that I will continually offer my support for. However, they could definitely improve the admissions department, and all other administrative facets of the school. Stay on top of any issues before they become urgent and you should do just fine here.Jake Hennett

The second semester resulted in a slightly better experience regarding the online education format. We plan to enroll in more in person classes next semester. Several professors last semester did not seem proficient with the virtual/online format or appear to care that students weren't getting the same or comparable education to in person classes. I wish we had enrolled in a fully distance learning program elsewhere, as they are proficient with everything online learning entails. Also, when choosing a University, many compare tuition costs. However, the fees each semester are significant and sometimes defy logic. This college is a joke, I hate that I even transferred here. I should of looked at these reviews before I even thought about attending. I'm going to try my best to get out this university. The staff here always gives you the run around, seems very uneducated and not much helpful to make your transfer goes as smooth as possible. I hate this school already and I haven't even started yet till next week. Plus if you are a veteran you basically have to do everything yourself, they don't know their job and you have to figure out everything on your own. Something is always missing. They are clueless. Small yet thriving village! Faculty a d staff made us feel as if we were blood relatives vs. Paying parents of future Alumni ❤ . Due to the pandemic, students have not much to do. I'd rather a bored child vs. Crying over my child any day. Registration along with move in day was very swift. Tuition is very affordable as well. Most importantly, the campus is safe with visible security/Public Safety. Denmark Tech changed my life because I was able to go to school locally, affordably, and come away with my associate in Science and Practical Nursing Degree. The single-parent program paid for most of my baby sitter expenses, while the work study program paid $10/hr for me to work as a peer tutor. The staff are willing to help you if you want to help yourself.. so if you go in and pay you won’t be very successful but if you go in and be about your business and stay focus, you will be successful. If I could give 0 stars I would because this school is not even worth one half of a star. From the first day I even considered attending this school to the last day I will attend I have told myself this was a HUGE mistake. I am an out of state student, on my first day of class no one told me where to go I didn’t even know who my instructor was. I was in the financial aid office in tears because I was so lost and no one cared at all. I was never given a tour of the campus and no one replied to my emails when I would ask questions in regards to the issues I was experiencing. On the student orientation day I was told I would receive a packet of information about the school along with a few other items they were giving out to the new students. I walked into the room it was being held in and not one person said anything to me. I sat through a 1-2 hour presentation having no clue what was going on. And this isn’t even the worst part. When I spoke with my financial aid advisor about getting loans for my classes, initially I was told I would be spending around 350 per class. Then when it came time for my refund to come back I was told that I owed over 1000 dollars in fees. Obviously being confused as to where that came from I called asking what was going on. I spoke with one of the only men in the financial aid department and he was the most rude person I have ever dealt with. I told him how frustrated I was and how confused I was about the situation and why I was being charged for that amount when I pulled out a 1500 dollar loan, and was told that amount would be plenty to cover my 2 classes. When I told him I was going to transfer to a school that actually cares about their students and not their money his response was (with a snotty chuckle) “that’s perfectly fine” he also suggested that if I want to save money then I should “get married faster to help cover the costs of your classes”. After swallowing my pride, paying the balance and continuing to take classes the same thing happened yet again except this time, I have been dropped from two classes for “not paying the balance in full” even though I have a payment plan set up and have paid my dues each month. I have been told that I am not allowed to transfer and that they will not give me my transcripts to do so. I have been told by the head person of the financial aid department that they don’t believe they are doing anything wrong because “we are just trying to get the money from you that you owe us” when describing to her how frustrated I was and how terribly I had been treated all she said was “I am only going to address the issue in regards to you owing us money” this school has a lot of work to do and I would never recommend anyone ever attend here because they truly only care about leaching off of the students and sucking them dry. I graduated from high school in 2012. The statics were stacked against me; African American girl, from a single parent home, childless, no criminal record and first to attend college in my immediate family. I'm a "mama's girl", so I wasn't ready to leave home. First, I enrolled at another local college. The institutions polices & procedures were extensive. This caused me to withdraw from the school in question. Central Carolina Technical College was the next school on my list. My transition into Tech was easy. The staff and faculty were welcoming, patience and encouraging. The course work assignment were realistic and allowed multiple chances to answer the questions correctly. Central Carolina likes to hire in house. I've been blessed to work 3 positions while enrolled in classes. After graduation I worked 2 more jobs as a customer service representative and a tutor at the college. My visit to Central gave me freedom to grow as a person. Life is what you make it. Get involved. Called financial aid between the summer and fall courses multiple times a week to get an update on my Financial Aid (dead-end job at the time) and they never answered. I put in for financial aid Mid-Summer semester and would call multiple times a week leading up to the beginning of the fall semester with my name, Student ID, and number to call back… They never responded. I was unable to get any of the books and by the time I was able to get them it was halfway through the semester? Guess what comes in? The financial aid I applied for 4 months ago and never got a call for an update that I requested easily 10 total times. I had to withdraw from all of my courses to prevent shattering any hopes of a GPA. Then they try to bill me for the money that FAFSA took back? They couldn't update me on when my money was coming in but they don't mind sending a letter, huh? This place is an absolute joke. I'd recommend Florence-Darlington or essentially any other tech school.Henry Miles, Jr.

The science department (bio, biochem, chemistry, physics) is amazing and so helpful in supporting students aiming for any graduate level education. Every professor pushes you to be better while also guiding you to be a better person and student. They are all straight forward and even step by step help you apply and learn about career options. I couldn't have asked for better mentors in that department. And I'm thankful every day that they invested so much in me and helped me get into medical school. The school community in itself is not accommodating. I felt ostracized my first year being out of state and being minority. I almost transferred my freshman year because I was just that miserable living on campus. The community is not diverse by any means and it is 100% a suitcase school, despite what I was told when I visited before applying. I don't necessarily blame the school for the students attitude but I never felt welcomed or at home at Anderson after 4 years. I am also a Christian, and did not agree with many of Anderson's values, although their rules are not difficult to follow, just tedious. Essentially, Anderson Univeristy has a fantastic science department, and I would rate them by themselves 10/10 but the community there I would rate 4/10. If you just want a great science education, they have it, but social life isn't as guaranteed.Meagan Ocampo

If you are in favor of a small Baptist community, then by all means go here. However, if you are anything but that, then expect to be forced to go to Chapel in order to graduate, a zero tolerance for married couples or any couple in that matter, and residence advisors inspecting your room in depth if there is any suspicion that you are doing anything against their small Baptist community policies. Don't expect the best one on one attention because every other class and special needs student gets it with the same professor. Lastly, most of the on campus living have a huge mold problem that affected my friends' health as well as my own, and some campus complexes were infested with roaches. By the way tuition is $22,570 per two semesters, while other public schools like Clemson is $13,022 per two semesters.Joshua Hendrix

I am currently a student at Anderson University, and overall I have had a great experience. I have made great friends and the academic curriculum is excellent in my major. I will say that the school is not for everyone. It has a very strong christian atmosphere and students are held to certain rules and standards not found at other schools. However, this is part of what I like about Anderson as it helps prepare students for the real life scenarios of being responsible adults. I will tell you this though, every professor puts in 110% into everyone's education, I have never been denied academic help when I needed it. I really like the flexibility of the online courses, the affordability and the variety of degree options they have. My advisors and teachers have been very great but communicating with the other staff at this school is very frustrating. The employees in the financial aid department are very rude and condescending and they hang up on you abruptly whenever they get frustrated with you. The registar’s office is by far the WORST. Very nasty employees in that department who talk down to you and treat you like a child. They seem to forget they work for a college, not an elementary school. One spent 10 minutes arguing on the phone with me just because I wanted my new advisor’s phone number and email. The “career counselors” offer no type of help or advice and they just tell you to “google it” whenever you have a basic question about a certain major. They are also very judgmental if you express a desire to finish with only an associates degree and not transfer to a 4 year, not considering not everyone has the financial means to do so. The call center employees are very disrespectful and seem like they want to find reasons to argue with callers. There are also huge issues with miscommunication at this school and everyone seems to have different answers about certain topics which causes a lot of errors. Certain departments are also not great about contacting back even after leaving numerous voicemails/emails. Overall I like the school itself but they need to either retrain the employees on basic respect and customer service or they need to hire new ones.Resident Anon

The teachers here are all outstanding and they make you feel like they want you to succeed. I have taken College Algebra, Biology and Spanish in the classroom and the instructors were all topnotch. There is also additional help available to students in the free math lab and writing centers as well as Spanish tutoring. The online classes are not that confusing but you do need to pay attention because sometimes you are required to take classes through third-party online textbooks via the access codes. The only problems I had were with transferring credits to the school and getting contradictory information from the financial aid office on one occasion. I do wish the school did a better job with advising students but I understand the logistics issues. Everyone at the hub is friendly and helpful! Use them they are a great resource. Aiken Tech is the best school I have ever went to. Compared to Peru State(NE), & Suffolk Community College(NY).. The professors are great, very helpful. THEY want YOU to learn the material and pass. They are not there to TRY and flunk you. The president is very friendly and kind as well as the staff members. They really want to help you achieve your goals. The library is great, very nice atmosphere, and very resourceful. The school has an academic success center where they provide FREE tutoring!! How awesome is that! I also love how new the school looks compared to other schools. Brand new computers in the math lab. PS. Great Security, and Officers that patrol the school. They are always around. Worth test center! I went there for CNA skills test. I was doing Bed pan procedure. Even I was doing wrong. I was trying to wipe it down. The lady snatched the paper towels out of me. That was rude. And another guy was doing blood pressure procedure. Machine was broken. But they didn't help him. So They failed him. That is so rude and unprofessional. We are paying money for the test! My siblings and I have attended this school. I'm currently obtaining my Pharmacy Technician degree. There were some times where my siblings had to retake classes because the school wouldn't accept them even though it was what the requirement really said. I have had a few bad instructors but most of the time I've had great teachers. I guess it really depends on the student. I went to midlands tech for many years. I struggled through the nursing program (and associates in arts and associated in science programs) for years as a single mother of a child with disabilities who was also exiting a decade long abusive relationship. I walked on a broken foot for four months through Clinicals in order to make it, had a foot surgery, totaled cars, and 20+ hours a week of therapies for my son with disabilities. And still I made it to my LPN semester only to end up in the hospital the last week before finals. I was told that I could not have a medical drop as I had received one for my foot surgery and was forced to take test 3,4, and the final in the week following my visit to the hospital. My grade dropped from a 90 to a 79.4 and I was told that I’d have to repeat everything all over again. The ombudsman and the VP went to Mrs. Bannister and begged her to allow an exception based off of the healthcare related nature of my situation and she refused. This place ruined my life and left me with no way to support my child and no nursing career after I already had a job waiting for me on the surgical trauma floor at Richland. After everything I lived through and survived. I am still traumatized. This place will ruin your life. DO NOT ATTEND THIS COLLEGE! Edit: In addition to my previous post this school is taking it a step further and denying me the right to participate in graduation after everything I have been through due to me being locked out of my MTC email (PS who only sends email info on a school email? nothing in the mail?) and was unable to receive the notification in time and they are now refusing my participation in graduation. I wish I could let anyone at that school know what they've done to me, my family, and my life. I HATE THIS SCHOOL and I've never hated anyone or anything!Danielle D Jacobs

I am in the Computer Technology program and am supposed to be completing my last semester, however we are at midterm and I am now finding out I have 1 more class to take . This is particularly infuriating because not only did my advisor tell me how many courses i needed to take to graduate, but Financial aid department told me that the aid for the semester was awarded based on how many credit hours i needed to graduate (I am taking the classes that I was told and showed I needed). Overall, in my 2 years as a student, my opinion has always been that's it is very much a subpar school-regarding the staff as well as education quality. My first semester (my education foundation) I had 2 that didn’t care and literally booted you out of the classroom before class was over as they had other things to do. The computer advisors are extremely ill prepared to help anyone. They continuously have no idea what each class will teach you, do not know which classes you should take for any career path, and are usually new personnel each semester. I, like many other students here, have a family outside of school and do not have the means to be a student and unemployed for another semester. Also, they don't have ANY tutors for the computer department! This makes things VERY difficult. The teachers do what they can in their office hours, and I can name 3 or 4 that are worth calling a teacher/professor and actually care about the subject and students. They claim to help you find a job after, and boast they have company’s asking them for their graduates… however this is not easily accessed, nor are there plentiful opportunities once graduated. The level of education and subjects taught seem not to be in line at all with what is desired by companies.srnclb

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible experiences! I have attended multiple semesters here and each one is more of a dumpster fire than the last. I have never had such difficulty with anything in my life or dealt with such rude, spiteful, or plan MEAN faculty members. I have been told countless times to quit my job and focus only on school, please tell me how being the sole provider for my family that would work? Followed by the staffs refusal to talk with me about options when I refuse to quit my job and have to look for odd times to attend classes. This school has been a GIGANTIC regret and I have only ever dealt with about two people that actually cared and WANTED to help like a decent educator would. This college has made a terrible impression. They got me admitted as a transfer student, and I have been preparing for the Fall session online, but to appear in person, and I just found out I missed the registration deadlines because student advising never got back to me. I took the new student orientation and the professor, just skimmed through all the info. There wasn't time for questions, and she cut it short by 30 minutes. It didn't even explain how to register online. I had been in communication and prepared for this session but didn't understand how to register so all the classes I had 'added to my schedule' weren't actually registered, and no one followed up with my questions. I thought I was registered, and even as I try to register now after the fact, it still says I need student advising which no one ever got back to be except for an email to say I already had everything set up. I am torn about this. Now I have to wait another session to get started?! NO! I will take my education somewhere where I can actually get assistance. This is such an emotional drag.Gabrielle Flores

When I graduated high school I never really planned to go to a 4 year college because I wasn’t the sitting in the classroom type. Then I started kinda looking into something more hands on and then when I found Latrice and I started my journey I was definitely nervous but being around everyone there and being in such a great environment you will never be nervous again. BEWARE. AREA IS NOT SAFE. There needs to be security patrols or policemen in the area. I was taking my ASVAB test there around 3 pm. I come back to my car only to find out my catalytic converter had been stolen in the parking area in broad daylight. I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one that had to deal with theft on that day. Please reinforce security patrol, cameras, and policemen in the parking area so things like this don’t happen to others who are planning to visit and take tests there.Savannah Jenkins

BEWARE. AREA IS NOT SAFE. There needs to be security patrols or policemen in the area. I was taking my ASVAB test there around 3 pm. I come back to my car only to find out my catalytic converter had been stolen in the parking area in broad daylight. I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one that had to deal with theft on that day. Please reinforce security patrol or policemen in the parking area so things like this don’t happen to others who are planning to visit and take tests there.Savannah Jenkins

My mom was admitted to ProMedica Rehab on Sulphur Springs Rd. in SC on December 13, 2021 and have been neglected since day two. 1. The facility on December 14th rescheduled an appointment to the Cancer Center without notifying the family. We found out she had the appointment after a family member called to see how mom's day was. We were informed the appointment was made the morning of and no one thought to call the family so someone would be their to support mom. 2. December 21, 2021 at 5:53 pm. A daughter walked into mom's room and a staff member was changing mom and her bed linen and notice mom's body language and face was that of fear. Mom was trembling, the staff member did not say anything to reassure the daughter that mom was okay. 3.December 24,21, a resident of the facility wondered into mom's room early in the morning. The resident was staggering around the room and fell on the floor. He was bleeding and left blood on the empty bed in the room. Mom stated that she was yelling for the staff and trying to find her call button. The call button was pinned on the curtain out of her reach. No one came to check on the situation and the man wonder back into the hallway. When I came into mom's room at 9 am the bloody bed linen was still on mom's bed. I stripped the bed and the cleaning staff put the linen in a plastic bag. 4. December 25,21, mom fell out of her bed. Mom stated she fell when it was dark outside and they found her when it was light outside. She stated she yelled and opened and closed the drawer on the night stand table to get the attention of the staff. She was found and put back into her bed. Her left knee was bruised and skinned. The staff called us with no concerned or urgency. My family and I asked questions with no answers. I was told no incident report would be made and that the fall would be discussed in the morning meeting, 5.December 26th 5 pm another daughter found my mom in destress. Mom had tears running down her face and her nose was running. My sibling got the impression my mom had been crying. The nurse was in the room and she kept stating mom had been changed and it was rough on her. Mom did not agree or deny the statement. Mom has been left in her waste for hours and now has sores on her buttock. The skin is so bad that she is bleeding. Mom is not washed and changed daily. My siblings and I have had to ask the staff to change mom's clothing and briefs. We also have come in mom's room and changed her brief and clothing. These staff members have not been helpful to our family. Tonya the nurse Supervisor on the 100 hall. She has been very rude, confrontational, ignoring my mom's call light/button, she will not give information to the Nurse Practitioners when we ask her too and she has made my family feel we have not right to ask for anything for mom. Tonya did not want to give my mom a breathing treatment the was ordered by the Nurse Practitioner. I did asked to speak to the Meisha the DON or Chris Patrie the Administrator and never was contacted by them to date, 12/29/21. I was given the opportunity to speak to Jodi Clack, Social Services my concerns. At first Jodi did not believe our concerns until I gave her the dates and times along with the incidents.. Today 12/29/21 I was told mom has Covid, we so uncomfortable with mom being in the facility with family contact. I would advise anyone that is looking at this facility as a place for your care or your family member …PLEASE RECONSIDER!!!!Judy Wardlaw

Hi my loved one was just admitted and it’s not easy placing a loved one in a facility! My nerves was shot but the compassion and welcoming Nikki gave me was awesome she explained to me that this does not have to be his forever home however she could still see I was un easy about it so she told me her mother and sister was there before and how much they loved it and that the therapy department is amazing and even took the time to walk me on a tour of the facility. She was absolutely amazing she apologized because I noticed she had a tattoo on her arm and when I noticed I said something however I assume she thought maybe I was gonna say something negative but I was not I was actually admiring the work and this is just a example of the way the world is evolving she may have tattoos and had a hoodie on with the sleeves rolled up instead of in a pair of scrubs but she was more professional and compassionate and loving then any one else that I have come into contact with there and I just want this noted that she is simply amazing and I hope y’all recognize this because this young lady made a big difference in whether or not my loved one was staying or going if it wasn’t for her I would have took my loved one home right then!Williams Kieosha

They try to correct issues with my mother’s placement but then got it very wrong by sending her to an assisted living center when she required skilled nursing. And now that she’s out of there, it’s not their problem. They sent her to Reid House and now Reid House has kicked her out because they don’t have what she needs for care. My mother will be homeless soon if someone doesn’t help. Calling me back to tell me you’re gonna help and then shuffling her off to the wrong place is NOT help! You told Reid House that she is walking with a walker and can transfer and self toilet when she most certainly cannot. This is sad and frustrating. She fell during her brief two hours at Reid House and is now back in the hospital waiting on placement- again!Pamela Aaralyn

DO NOT GO HERE OR SEND YOUR CHILD HERE!!!! This has been the WORST admissions experience of my life. After submitting all documents SEVERAL times, they keep denying it an asking for the same things over and over. The paperwork they ASK FOR ONLINE is NOT the actual paperwork they need. They aren’t getting the emails, they don’t answer the phones, the chick at the financial aid desk is always on her phone and rushing you out after she sits there and states at you for several minutes without even ASKING if she can assist you. I’d rather my daughter go out of state than go here. This place is a joke. We’ve been back and forth with them for over 2 months and they have not done anything correct. The ARC is severely short staffed but I have never had any problems in regards to paperwork. So long as I come to them knowing what I need help with I have never had a problem that could not be solved in 48hr and usually resolved within the visit itself… The course catalog explains each admission step required in detail, if you follow the current course catalog as you would a rubric you will be fine!Leonard Frost

I have mixed feelings about this school after attending there for the past year. The building is super nice and modern, and my teachers were all wonderful. Unfortunately, a bunch of the office workers are slack. Honestly, half of them don't do anything. Many of them were unprofessional. I was not impressed with the way the school was ran but the teachers were friendly and willing to help. I was able to save money on my first year before transferring.Leah Winningham

What an amazing campus. First opened as a military college, then became available to civilians, women and fully integrated in 1963. After graduating with my doctorate in Environmental Toxicology in 1996 I have never returned until 2020. Although the city has changed drastically, the campus' beauty and attention to the most current curricula still remains. They have a beautiful new Business School and the campus life can't be beat. Add to it to beauty of the nearby mountains and lakes, 90 mins to Atlanta and overall excellence in education you cannot go wrong.Bill Henriques

Up to Clemson for the day to visit with our Uncle who just turned 104 years in July. He's doing great, and we had a great visit. One of the most amazing men, and human being I've had the privilege to know and love. We'll be back as soon as we can. He retired many years ago as a Professor at Clemson.Greg Veal

This is an excellent place to take the kids for a picnic. There is a fantastic picnic area next to the pond at the entrance. It is cleaned and maintained on a regular basis. I love taking my kids for a short visit to feed the ducks. We always bring rolled oats to feed the ducks instead of bread, because it is much better for them. They love the oats! There are also some beautiful large fish and turtles in the pond that you can feed as well. There are some fun steep hills and large oak trees for the kids to play on too. This is an excellent community college with a nice picnic area for visitors!Heather

This is a great place to go take college classes and get exercise as well. The staff and teachers were very knowledgeable while I attended and now, being finished with college, I still love to go and walk around the campus for exercise. There is a beautiful pond in the front to walk around as well as lots of walking trails. Lots of pavement so you can take the kids to ride their bikes.Kelly Dale

I attended as a student here in 2016, 2017, and 2018. I EARNED the GPA of a Dean's List student but these clowns refused to recognize my achievements because I was on a probation status. Very unfair and bias. I transferred to WPCC. A much better school. Most ICC employees act stuck up and like they are superior to everyone. WOULD NOT RECCOMMEND ESPECIALLY THE BUSINESS DEPARTMENT!!!Renata Nia

NGU Exposed- From an Alumni NGU offers a lot to students that may have little to no spiritual background. They are known for leading people to Christ, and helping them to grow. If you were to ask me if I would donate money to NGU? The answer would be no. The stewardship of the money they have received in the past is highly questionable. The former president has been rumored to be in trouble for embezzlement. If you were to ask me if I trusted the faculty and staff at NGU with my children? the answer would be mostly yes, but I would proceed with caution. The Student Services staff hovers over students and looks for opportunities to have them kicked out so they can still keep the money for the student being at the school while still collecting the financial revenue of the student being enrolled. Multiple staff members have been fired in the previous two years due to infidelities (including speculation that this is why the president resigned). One of the Faculty was a counselor on campus and was sleeping with the student that they were counseling. With all this, the professors are incredible. They care about the students, and setting them up for succes. not so much for the staff. Does Christ really make the difference at NGU? No. It doesn't. It's a nice front, but in reality, the staff (not faculty) is inflated with this idea of spiritual pride that leaves students more turned off to Christianity than rather leading them to God. I would not send my child to NGU if I had a say so in it. NGU served a purpose, but unless you are studying a Christian Studies degree, it's not the place to be.Invisible Crusader

The initial impression is that North Greenville is a friendly campus. The lasting impression is that North Greenville is a friendly campus. In no other environment have I experienced such kind, sacrificial service. Faculty and staff put others before them. The academic life is not meritorious of highest prestige, but it is better than the average university. The smaller classes allow students to have discussions and actually learn something rather than fall victim to academic bulimia. The student life is not the most exciting, but the purpose of college is not to party. There are rules that can seem overbearing, but are protective. If students were allowed in girls' dorms, I would have never attended class. Overall, I loved my time spent at NGU and the school is very deserving of a 4 star rating.Ryan Woodring

The friendly faculty and staff are great. Dr Epting is a president who really does care for his students. He remembers what's happening in your life and is always more than happy to give you a hug (my type of guy). The education was great, not quite excellent. The Youth Ministry program needed a little help on fair grading (some of us were well more prepared for speeches and assignments and would receive the same grades as though who were definitely not). But the overall education was great. The English department was intense (the couple classes I had to take). The campus is beautiful with a great view. Didn't stay on campus, was too far out of the way, easier to drive when I had class. Would highly recommend it to those looking for a great education at a great price.Tory J Almond
