I know y'all are hanging in there from the pandemic I will be going to school on June 1st I have not been in school for 6 years because of problems in my family's life I'm still trying to figure life out I'm just now starting to take care of my mom I am living with her now which is a big step. I either need a scholarship for a college essay or need a grant but they said I don't make enough money. I worked for four years by the way. I passed the essay TSI, I also wrote an essay for the Susanne scholarship and just maybe need to get a recommendation from a high school teacher. love all of you thank you so much for getting me started.Trae Webb

since I started school in dallas colleges(2019) this summer 2022 is the worse for me. My professor O'Brien is never available, no help from him, and has denied access to all the features that other professors give access to students in order to help us. I went to the campus to talk to an advisor after sending him more than 5 emails, even at the campus No one knew his whereabouts and he finally responded after 2 weeks since i told him I think I'll drop that class he didn't even bother to try and assist me instead he said yes you can drop it and you'll for sure find the same class with another instructor good luck. First time to have such a 👎 instructor at dallas colleges I so much regret wasting this semester in this class. I even submitted a complaint but no once has reached me to even ask anything.Therese Ambani

Im only a freshmen at Mountainview community college but I already have a great opinion on the institution. I love the greenery surrounding the buildings because they make me feel tranquilized, I love the inclusivity this college gives and the diversity here. The professors that I have so far have been amazing and makes my classes worth looking forward to. I visited the school store in the S building just last week and I really love everything the store has to offer such as snacks, school supplies, feminine products, hygiene products, cosmetics, and basic necessities! The subway in the dining hall has welcoming employees with great customer service. The success coaches in the S building are also very helpful with planning for classes and addressing any concerns you may have. I love this college!Brianna

Would not recommend. I can't speak to the instructors since I never made it that far, but the staff needs a refresher course on office management. I work in an admin office and if I ignored customers as I was ignored by this college I would have been fired a long time ago. I had my former colleges send my official transcripts in April which both confirmed that they had. I asked in June and in July where we were in the processes. The only answer I received was that "we can't find them" and asked if they were submitted under another name. I had told them multiple times that they were submitted under my maiden name as I was not married when I received other degrees. No response. So I had them resent. There was no response. So after 24 hours I emailed both the registrar's office AND the email designed specifically for transcripts and did not hear back again. When I went up and emailed everyone in the admissions office suddenly they found my transcripts and my transcript hold disappeared like that. And then afterward, suddenly I received a response to one of my emails and the person I was speaking to was quite snippy with me saying that she "got to it when she could" although I had been inquiring for 2 MONTHS about the status of my transcripts. Fortunately this was going to be my first semester and I have enough time that I found another distance education vet tech degree from another college. I won't be registering for classes with Cedar Valley after this whole thing honestly its NOT worth it. Also, there is NO requirement to meet with an advisor and no one point of contact for Distance Education students. Their instructions for registering for classes are confusing and even inquiry emails were met with silence. Also it feels the admissions office was supplying contrary information on how to enroll in vet tech classes in the first place! If you're looking for a distance education vet tech program I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you going elsewhere. You'll just get frustrated here. I would give 0 stars if possibleAmy Shumway

I'm going to be fair and admit that the teachers I've had have been the most helpful, inspiring, and kind people I've ever met. Unfortunately I can't say the same for most of the staff up front. Most of the staff are rude and unhelpful, constantly running you in circles like they have no idea how anything works. The advising staff are very unhelpful as well. Patty Soper-Shaw placed me in two wrong classes my first semester, and admitted to me she had no idea about any of the technology courses I was trying to take. Because of that, I'm now left without the hardware course I needed to take before the software one which leads me to this biggest problem I have with this college. DO NOT TAKE TECHNOLOGY CLASSES HERE! It's a dead end. A majority of classes never have enough students to make the class work, so they're constantly being dropped. The dean of the technology department, Mr. Johnson, came to our class at the beginning of the Fall 2017 Semester to tell us our class is cancelled. He even admitted that the technology classes there are failing tor receive enough students for the classes, and apparently it's been that way for the past 10 years! It's to the point where my degree is absolutely useless, and because of the constant cancellations and mess ups between staff and advisers, my life is now behind because I can't even get a simple certification or degree. I've been at this school for three semesters, and after my class getting cancelled again, I've decided to finish up this last semester and move onto another college. This school is the most unorganized, uninformative, and misleading place I've ever been to. I'm not the only student this has happened to either. I've spoken with many at that school who have suffered from the same problems I spoke about. This school has been a nightmare to go to and get anything done at. Awful experience. The advising staff were rude and unhelpful. Registration staff were extremely unhelpful and contradictory. After being led in pointless circles and constantly receiving contradictory information about required forms and materials, I was finally able to meet someone who understood what was going on (after talking with at least 4 different registration staff members). By the time everything was sorted out, the classes were filled up. The advising staff members are not accommodating, interrupting, and very accusatory. It should not be on the customers shoulders to filter through constant contradictions just to apply to the school. I did follow and submit the required material stated online. Apparently, the material submitted was no acceptable and I had to jump through many hoops and complete many tedious tasks just to be told it was all pointless and I didn't even have to do any of the "required" forms or tasks. Honestly, I just felt like I was wasting my time doing pointless tasks when most, if not all, of it could have been avoided. By the time all my information was processed, I had finished applying/enrolling, getting advised, registering for classes, and paying for the classes at a different community college. This was the most unorganized, confusing, drawn-out process I've ever had to go through for any college admission. Wasted so much time throughout this process. Oh, did I mention that no one knows how to pick up the phone? Called at many different points in time throughout the day just to be sent to voicemail… This happened for an entire week. Leave a voicemail and hope they get back to you promptly.Water Fountain

Lisa the advisor in Eastfield college was horrible. Everyone was nice and welcoming except for her. She wanted me quick out of her office as soon as possible. I'll preface this with that the only reason this school is getting 2 stars is because staff has actually been helpful when I have reached out to try and fix things. But when I tell you EVERY step of this process has been an absolute nightmare I am not exaggerating. I am a TWU graduate and needed a quick summer class to take because i got a conditional acceptance to a graduate school. This is time sensitive. So, long story short every single step had some issue that took multiple phone calls and people to fix. The biggest issue was me paying for an official transcript, seeing that on the tracking information brookhaven had received the transcript, and days later having the transcript STILL not put into the system which kept me from registering for the class that my entire future quite literally depended on me taking. Because of the bad timing of spring break I had to register late and it took an hour in person of me and the wonderful admissions worker figuring it out because no one we needed to contact was actually on campus. Although she was incredibly helpful, it was obvious the entire set up was frustrating for her too. The website is outdated and confusing and I get endless errors- i couldn't even pay without there being an error. Christi Carter is an awful person who sees students making mistakes during class and says NOTHING, then cheats during the "random body part selection process for competicy testing" and gives you the one body part she saw you making a mistake on but said nothing during class so she can kick you out of the program. Absolute zero compassion for students and their education. Luckily I've graduated Radiology at a different college dispite her being an absolute awful teacher. How someone can be so curropt and unfair became director of the program is beyond me.__

I was at this campus just to get my Student ID this week. Everyone I encountered was kind and helpful from the security desk attendant to the staff in Student Services. When I was looking at one of the outside campus maps to find my way a staff member came up and assisted me with the directions to where I needed to go. Reading the other reviews here, I see others have had problems with admissions and financial aid – I think all universities have lots of complicated paperwork in regards to those areas, so patience is necessary.Curtis Johnson

Richland College offers a High School Collegiate program that is now at its 10th year. My son was recently accepted and I went there to meet with the counselor and I was quite impressed with the cleanliness of the campus as well as its size. I did not realize how large the campus is and yet I pass it daily enroute to work. My meeting with the counselor was very informative as the counselor was thorough and very detailed with all the information we needed to know. It put me at ease. Then as we walked around, we walked under trees which provided lots of shade. The only thing I noticed though is at the parking lot we were at, there was very little shade. Something to keep in mind for the hot summers. The campus is very easy to access from the Eastbound lane of Walnut or the Northbound lane of Abrams. I've never really been to a JuCo but after seeing Richland's campus and meeting with some of the staff, my perspective has changed on how I see JuCos.Joey Pauga

I just wanted to go somewhere and take classes to pursue my dreams in comics and animation. The registration process at this school is an absolute nightmare. I got all my paperwork in and was all ready to pick my classes. Then I’m getting told I’m on probation when I’ve never been a college student before. I’m also getting told from a different admissions worker that my transcripts are lost and I have to resubmit them. I’ve been trying to get enrolled before the Dallas Promise deadline for weeks and it doesn’t look like it’s going to happen. The admissions office doesn’t respond to emails and calling them still has got me no answers. It’s becoming not worth it at this point.Mr B

I'm trying to back on track and attend college, but this school is extremely aggravating. It took them MONTHS to transfer my credits over, so I can register for my classes. I applied for financial aid, went to the school, and everything was great. But as my courses were ready to start, my classes weren't covered. Come to find out, my financial aid was approved for the previous 2 semesters. I registered for summer courses and everything, so how did this happen. This school is literally the worst, they take all day in the advising office and registration office. They will have one or two people helping more than 20 people and you would think that would make them have a sense of urgency but they do not. They all act as if they don’t feel like helping you and move so damn slow. I received 2 parking tickets during the time I have attended this school because two hours in a meter is not even enough. The best advisor is Shannon, the rest of them act like they don’t care and will not give you any guidance when your new to college, some will over talk you and not even pay attention or listen to what you are saying to them. This school will literally make you not want to attend college at all with how difficult they make the process. I am here at the college registering for my classes for the fall and have been here since 1:00 it is now 4:00pm smdh. If you plan on coming here make sure you have a whole day to spend here!!!! I had a meeting and asked for help and she said she couldn't help me for some reason…I ended up texting & emailing people for help but they eighter didn't reply or said they were going to help me but then ended up not communicating back. I managed to call tec support and they said website was down. Few days later they called me & said they were going to put me on a list and since then I haven't heard anything. I feel like putting a bad review I’m currently trying to see a councilor here at El Centro I came Thursday before 5pm and they told me it was closed but on the website they close at 5pm. Come to find out today a staff member told me they closed an hour early because they were having a spring break party. Today I’m trying to speak to an advisor I’m the only one here sitting in the lobby still waiting for someone to help me. I used to love this school but honestly service has gone down the drain. The moment I started at Amberton University it was already skeptical. I had a very hard time getting a hold of any advisor and no one seem to know how to answer my questions regarding finances. I went to the school for a few semesters and it was pretty easy and challenging. My last semester there was absolutely terrible. Professor Herring was has the worst communication skills and doesn’t know how to clearly give out instructions. I had to drop the course because she was unbelievably unprofessional. That’s where my issues had gotten worse. I spoke w it h the Vice President and president and they were not help. If you need anything fixed financially they will not help out in any way. My tuition was going to go to collection without even my knowledge of it. I received no notices and I was dealing with appeals at the same time. They were not recognized by the billing department. The woman I spoke with in the billing office spoke over me and had the worst customer service. Melinda, the president was not concerning for the student but more for the money going into her pocket. I don’t recommend attending this university at all. My previous professors were great but the minute you have a professor that doesn’t know what they are doing and you challenge them, they will get anything by they can to make sure you fail. I found Amberton while looking for a college to complete my second master's degree. I have an MS in Adult Education and wanted to get a more focused degree to advance my knowledge in the field I'm currently working in, which is faulty and staff professional development. I opted for AU because they are fully accredited, offer numerous online degrees, and are the most affordable of any college I found. The quality of education is excellent and I like that I can plan my classes well in advance. They post a master schedule that lists when each class will be offered during the year and often offer several sections of each class so you can choose the professor and text book you think is best for you. Admissions, registration, and student services couldn't be easier. They took many of the credits from my prior master's degree so I will be able to finish this one in 18 months (2 months left to go as of this writing). Payment plans make it easy to pay as you go without incurring debt. As a state technical college administrator, I often recommend AU to our faculty and staff. I would, without hesitation, recommend AU for anyone who wants a quality, accredited (regional accreditation is needed for credit transfer) higher education experience.Josh

On the contrary, I have been receiving very amazing treatment. My classes were challenging, but not hard at all. I loved working on each and every assignment. They helped me in my OPT year. I was able to apply most theories and knowledge in my previous workplace. I was also able to obtain an acceptance letter from Texas A&M for my PhD. Everyone in this university is super respectful. I was truly blessed to find Amberton University and to accomplish one of my dreams here. Since Hayden started one on one sessions last school year with Layton Funk from victory step, his grades in English and Math have improved and did fantastic on his 9th grade pre-ap English and Math class. Layton practices core concepts with Hayden, mostly focused on evidence based critical reading and writing passage, tricky math problems, and English as well as making sure Hayden learns how to pace himself during the exam and follows healthy test taking strategies. We found Layton to be helpful and very friendly. Layton is very encouraging and supportive in Hayden quest to do his best. We are very happy with victory step tutoring service. Layton Funk is our private tutor. He has been an excellent tutor and very good guide. He focused both on improving math skills and also test taking strategies which is very important during timed competitive tests. His teaching methods would keep kids engaged for a long time. With something like a testing facility all you hope is that it isn't going to distract you or stress you out. However, at AES Literacy Institute, they went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and welcome in their testing spaces. They had excellent and organized service, they were already fully prepared for my arrival and check in took no time. They asked me about my day and encouraged me before my test which was really nice. And wow, it was random but they had extra touches, like decor to make the space feel more inviting. I am recommending everyone at work get their certifications done here, and I would literally come back here just for the fun of it it was so nice! It's not worth coming here. I should've done more research on how to become an Automotive Technician instead of coming here. There isn't alot of hands on experience that you would imagine there would be. Most of the time its power points, book work, and tests. Some of the instructors cared about our education and taught us well. But some of the instructors are either lazy or just rude all the time. They just sit and be on the computer all day. Every time we ask for help they just get frustrated and ignore us. And most of the students don't even care about learning automotive stuff's, they just play around with each other in the class, and learn nothing, and that's one of the reasons why I didn't learn much at all. And the instructors just ignore them, and do nothing about it. And I wonder why they forced us to give them a good review while we where in class? My nephew start a few months before pandemic. During pandemic it was online school and they did not extend time before allowing him to graduate. The course was Auto & Diesel technician. I should think they should be taught hands on before going into the work world. Now it is very disappointing when you going to have to pay back student loan and was not taught nothing. Plus the school holds on to our diploma until you pay their part on the loan. Please research and find out about the school before applying. I did contact the school and they did nothing. I went to this waste of money school over a decade ago and I'm still paying for it to this day. I'm not even in the field I study for which was automotive technology. The dealerships I went to apply at could care less if you graduated from here. Some of them laughed when I told them where I went. Please take me advice if your thinking of going to one of these schools, don't go. Our first time using a tutoring service for my daughter and it was her worst experience. My teenager did not have a good experience with Lisa. Lisa was extremely rude to my teen on her first Dat of tutoring that she told her that her nails looked ridiculous and that she should take them off. Lisa also made a comment to her that the math she was getting help on was 3rd grade level as to embarrass her. I had such good reviews that I was excited to get her signed up but after this incident I regret ever taking her there. What made me even more disappointed is that after the incident the director said Lisa had previous incidents that has cause them issues but yet my daughter was still paired with your worst tutor? Yesterday was the last day of both of my kids attending to Sylvan, In 5 months my kids have progressed so much and they become more confident and comfortable with them self! Have been bringing my 2nd grade daughter since January and within just a few weeks I noticed a difference. My daughter was not shy in preschool but in kinder she needed glasses due to severe lazy eye and got behind ever since. Then pandemic happened in first grade just as she was catching up. I definitely recommend this school, I started in August of 2019 hopeful that I would get my foot into the medical field and that’s exactly what they’ve helped me accomplish thus far, besides that I had set my mind to come to this school do my work, learn and go home and leave it at that but the staff at this school is incredible. I wanted to just get by here at PCI and go about my life and on my way but they really do care about you here and are very welcoming. Starting with my advisor Ali she made me feel so comfortable, when getting into something new you feel overwhelmed or scared but Ali made me feel like I could do it and helped me get started and my financial advisor Serena also helped me feel more than welcome. They encouraged me into student council and like I mentioned I was not interested in doing anything here at PCI besides my work and they pushed me to be more involved and I can’t thank them enough! They are truly a great team and they have great communication skills definitely the kind of people you want as your staff or to help you get your career started. I’ve found myself in tough situations while attending PCI we all know life can get crazy and they have always been there to help me with what I needed, and to check up on me and make sure I’m in class! My experience at PCI Health Training Center, has been more than what I could’ve ever imagined. The campus is full of genuine people from the students, to the instructors, and especially the staff. My advisor Diana, has made a tremendous impact on my journey here. She is helpful, sincere, compassionate, and always willing to listen and guide her students to the best of her ability. She shows +1 service towards her students as well as her fellow colleagues. Seeing an optimistic, always smiling, genuine face is always so refreshing. Her as mine and many others’ advisor was truly a blessing. She is what pushes us to come everyday with her above and beyond care for her students. The review statement is to share my experience at this organization and that is what I will try my best to do starting with the instructors. I completed my medical assisting program in March of 2021. When I started I had been working at a hospital for about four years so I knew a few things medical jargon and such. However some of my classmates knew next to nothing and most had just finished high school. The instructors took time to meet us at our current level and help us excel. They laid a foundation for us to learn in multiple ways and was very hands on through out the complete process. They really helped in any way they could and prepared us for our future positions. Now the business office well I am not sure. If you actual want to work in the medical field take the initial job they give you and get experience if you do not have any. Then while working find a better job for your future. if you have experience while in your externship hit the ground running looking for you a good job that will better suit your needs. I've read a lot of awful reviews. A lot of them being concerned of the price, before you even sign anything the price is promptly stated. If there's an issue, why continue on with the school? Secondly, I'm reading a lot of concerns about jobs after school. I am currently employed at a dealership right now, just being promoted to 'shop help' (oil changes, tire rotation, and alignments) once I have some uti schooling under my belt, that's when I become a technician under the shop foremans watch. I feel that both of these concerns are misplaced by students. But I'm still uti the benefit of the doubt, I hope the experience will be wonderful and very informative. I start school January 17th and will change my review as school goes on August 26th, 2018 I have graduated UTI Dallas this past April and before I gave my final thoughts, I decided to work a little bit afterwards to give the most down to earth review I can. I can begin with I regret going to this school. the overall curriculum is practically a joke. In some of my classes, which will remain anonymous, I did not do a lab or two (classwork) and still on my progress report I got full credit for something I did not do. Before most of the quizzes, we were told the answers in a different order from the quiz. There was no learning that was going on at this school, a lot of "just enough to get by" attitude. I was able to get past all that, but one thing I was NOT able to deal with was Shawn Rizzo. I had the misfortune of being in several phases under his supervision and it was terrible. The man consistently talked negatively about other instructors who worked at the same campus, he did not allow you to have an opinion on anything he knew about, nothing. He would every day throw in your face about how much money he has and how his house has a lift in it. even had the audacity to say to one of the classes I was in "lets compare bank accounts to see who is more successful." I was amazed at how a grown man was talking to all these young adults. At the moment I saw how it was acceptable to talk to students like that and OPENLY talk bad about your coworkers, I knew this school was nothing special. Anyway, Finical aid is another horror story, I had to supply several large amounts of money to that school while in school because of their errors, they also wanted several checks that were written to my moms name to be cashed and brought to the school. Made no sense to me whatsoever and they never fully explained why the money is addressed to my mothers name and not the school. The education managers at the time were wonderful and assisted me in the few times I went to them about some tardy issues. I brought up other issues I was having with instructors but nothing was done over that, anyway, look at the good over the bad. So, in the end, would I go back to this school if I had the chance to? Never. Do I feel I learned anything to help me in the field, not as much as I would have like to, but like I said earlier, there was not a lot of learning going on here in the first place anyway. Do I feel like the school was worth the 30k in the end? No, I do not. My advice to you- parents or potential students- ask yourself if this is really what you want to do. It is not a rewarding career, you destroy your body, and, well, the pay is terrible considering what you have to pay for (school loan, tool loans, whatever personal things you have going on.) Pretty much what I am saying, do not make the same mistake I did. you can see I was optimistic about this in the beginning, but in the end it was nothing like I thought it was going to be. I was a student and I am giving my 100% honest review over the school. let my experience be a lesson. If it matters to any of you, I will be attending UTA later next year to have the knowledge I need for a better career. We enrolled my son in the welding program here, and overall we all were very disappointed. They talk it up and sell you on a lot of empty promises, and support that never actually happens. Though the facilities are nice and have mostly nice equipment, there is still a lot left to be desired. They promise this amazing job placement assistance, but this program is terrible at best! My son was only 17 at the time, and all the jobs they supposedly found for him had a minimum age of 18, so no matter how many times he tried to tell them of this issue, they were unable to help him at all. As for the courses them selves, they are very basic, slow and not creative at all. They promise and say the students will be welding 80+ % of the time with tons of great projects for them to do, this is not at all true. Once they complete the simple assignment, the instructors have nothing else for them to do, my son being a very good welder was always one of the first to finish, and then was very bored with nothing left to do!!! Some of the instructors were great, but some were terrible. This school cost a lot of money, and though we made him stick to it and complete it, we ultimately found very little to any actual benefit for him at all. I do not know if all the tech schools like this are the same, but I can definitely tell you this, If we could do it over, we would NOT have sent him to this school.Michael Taylor

As an attending student, and Veteran, I joined the program to fine tune my knowledge and get a hands on experience working on cars in all aspects. To be TAUGHT by an instructor and not to be told watch "video's'' to learn. the teachers primarily RELY on Black board , which is computer based program. like watching YOUTUBE ,to do the teaching rather then in class instruction. the rules and policies are ALWAYS changing like girls change clothes the school board cant make up their mind on what policy's they want to enforce and they discriminate on who they're enforced upon. To top everything off the female staff members like to sleep with the students. absolute s/ show. if the military wasn't paying for my school I would have dropped out a long time ago.Tyler Sinquefield

I had a great experience with one of my GED tests today. It was quiet, efficient and I was accommodated with a 100% score for customer service ! The testing room was lighted perfectly and very cool and comforting. The chairs were very comfortable. I am going back for my last 3 tests when I am ready for them. I would highly recommend this place for any testing. I was nervous and my fears just melted away in this environment ! Thank you ComputerMinds!! UPDATE I took the rest of my GED tests here and now have my diploma! They were so nice and accommodating in a clean and well maintained testing environment. I adore the 2 women who talked to me and helped me relax for the tests. They were superb. This place may be small but don't be fooled; quality can come in small packages. And it did!!! I attended this school using educational benefits from military service. I had zero experience in my chosen field. The instructors and staff have a passion to educate and help change lives. I successfully completed my pipeline and started interviewing. I received a few offers ( around 55k) but I went with a company for $15 per hour entry-level for better long term fit (early 2021) I used the lessons and work ethic computer minds embraces and I have been promoted 3 times and I am in line for a major one next year. For the first time in my life, I will make a 6 figure annual earning. If you put in the work, this institution can change your life. So greatful!Patrick Mitchell

ComputerMinds is an amazing organization. I utilized the VRRAP program to participate in the Project Management Curriculum and it was amazing. Dr. Bell is top notch when it comes to pursing that line of work and also teaching it. The courses were very in depth and current. I wish I could take multiple courses with them because they are definitely making a difference. The certifications gained and used with the advice of Dr. Bell will more than likely get you seen. I loved my experience and I hate that it had to end. But, I honestly feel more prepared than ever.L.C. Smith

The people who work for this particular location are great. My first instructor was okay, but I didn't feel like I got enough information from them and had to seek alternative resources (which they encourage) in order to understand. My second instructor, while new to instructing, was phenomenal. I got a lot of real-world information from him. The coursework isn't what I thought. The courses are brief and I didn't feel like they spent enough time going over the intricacies of each subject. I thought that this was a more hands-on system to go through the motions of IT work. This seemed purely informational and even my second instructor seemed to struggle with conveying the coursework without showing us. Cost is somewhat reasonable, though I feel like I could have used primarily online resources and took the certification exams without using student loans. While I don't regret my education at this school, mostly because of my second instructor, I'm not sure I can recommend this school as a solution for the acquisition of certifications. Additionally, you still have to go to an outside testing facility to get certifications.Jason Hille

I had an excellent experience overall with CCI Training Center-Dallas Campus. My Instructor, Dr. Tamara Haskins is not only adept at teaching Information and Technology related courses but also very helpful in every way possible to students for better learning purposes. I took an IAPP/Pearson Vue exam at this facility; it was a great experience! The staff are friendly, helpful, and efficient. The facility is spacious, clean, and well arranged. The test workstations were comfortable and the computer equipment was spotless and functioned without any challenges. I look forward to coming back to this testing center for future exams, and I heartily recommend this facility to all who are taking such exams in the north Dallas region. I have been to 4 testing centers this year. This one was by far my favorite. The atmosphere was extremely welcoming and relaxed. They had water bottles for you. It was very quiet in the testing room and they provide noise canceling headphones. The bathroom was located directly in the testing room so, it was easy to go to the restroom without it taking too much of your exam time. I struggle with testing and this was the best experience I could have asked for. I will be back.Hayden Cepak

I personally felt really sad upon leaving . I think it’s important to allow the test taker to review their score on their own. It’s personal and some people have been working hard . So for the lady at the front desk to stick her head in the printer and yell “you didn’t pass” before I could see my paper is not ok to me . My wife was never able to finish her high school when she was was younger. She came of the United States 25 plus years ago. She received her diploma at My Dreams Academy.. I am disappointed at the unprofessionalism I witnessed this morning. I called to get clarification regarding the VRAP program. I was advised by Teresa a week prior that per the VA, students receiving that benefit had to be on campus only from 6-10pm. No online option. I called the VA to be sure and that simply is not true. The benefit can be used online or on campus. This morning, Alex transferred me to advising and I spoke with a girl who WOULD NOT give me her name. She started the conversation with an attitude and no facts. Belittling me, “ had you spoke with someone at the VA and if so what did they say”. I’m not trying to change a rule if that is what your school implements. However that’s not a rule of the VA. I called them on Thursday and spoke with Carol and she confirmed with her boss. Sorry didn’t get that name. This girl then began to over talk me and when I mentioned she was giving me an attitude for simply asking a question she wished me a good day and hung up in my face. VERY RUDE!! If she was having a rough morning I get it, but I didn’t wake up next you. Try praying a little more before leaving your house!Ed & Kellye Miles

I am an employee of MyComputerCareer Dallas campus and I feel blessed every day when I go into work. I started as a student wanting to one day go into some sort of security job preferably for the police department. I wanted a job where I could make a difference while enjoying the fun I.T side. Well seeing how the employees cared and changed my life not only career wise but built my confidence and love for myself something I had never had before. I decided I wanted to do that too! I am glad I did I work with bosses and co workers that treat me like family and when there is a student that has had something bad happen in their life I dont even have to ask for help to help my student evreyone jumps right in. From the bottom all the way to the top they care about student and employees. They ask us what we need to be happy and actually make it happen. I recently graduated from Mycc from the ITSA program and I have to say, it was the most enriching and fullfilling experience I've had in my entire life. I graduated with a 4.0 GPA and made WCITP(Dean's list), and none of that would have been possible if Mycc didnt offer all of the resources that they do. They provide instructed classes, mentors, a study hall environment, supplemental education on saturdays that are bootcamp style, hands-on labs, extra study material, quizzes, and too much to name. I have accomplished so much more than I ever could have imagined and I would recommend this place to anyone. They truly care about the students and their success.
