Great school for engineering and decent for nursing. Business school will depend on your work and the professors you choose(from 1-4 ⭐️). The support sucks. Try calling financial aid or student accounts and you know how living in purgatory feels like. One hour of waiting on the line is typical and if you wanna use the outdated mymav website to get help without calling them, good luck 😉 The number in the picture below belongs to student accounts department who will drop you from all your classes when u owe money so you need speed dealing with them. I suggest you’ll go there physically even if you’re infected with Covid19 as you have a better chance of reaching them in person. If I could give this university a zero star, I would do it. As an international student, I have millions of terrible experiences with this university. The graduate school and the international students office have been really really rude. They will try to frustrate you using any way they could. Also, the insurance requirement for international students have been so unfair. They will charge you lots lots of money for the insurance for the summer time even though you are not enrolled in any classes during the summer. Also, the staff working in the graduate school have been so rude and know very little. Some of the graduate and undergraduate classes have been so meaningless and do not worth the money.yaqing cao

Atm a lot of construction is going around the university. Either adding new school building, dinning areas, or apartments around the school. The gym is great, great gym equipment, indoor track, and classes that you can sign up for if you do not like working out alone. Building are easy to locate but if you have trouble finding them people will be nice to direct to the correct locations. This is one of the most affordable universities anyone could attend. Some of these poor reviews just come from bitter former students who broke the honor code and feel sorry (or don’t) for what they did. The professors here are great, some outstanding. I’ve had professors who have gone above and beyond assisting me with a family member’s suicide. They gave me extra time to complete assignments and some excused absences. They are all very accommodating when serious circumstances happen and they are willing to work with you. The tuition costs are some of the most affordable rates you’ll see. Not many colleges in the Western states can beat it. The environment and campus is comfortable and appealing. The grounds look phenomenal in the spring and summertime and the grounds crews do an excellent job of mowing and planting. The buildings are very nice with a lot of amenities. There are many options for things to do in the evenings and a lot of activities throughout the day on campus for students. The honor code is a great component of the university. I know, shocking. As long as you follow campus rules and keep the commandments as a Latter-day Saint, it’s not that hard. Just follow the rules, don’t do stupid stuff, and keep the honor code that students had ALREADY signed up for before attending BYU-Idaho. If you don’t like the rules, you are welcome to leave despite you agreeing to them beforehand. This is a great university. If you get good grades and work hard to get to the top of your graduating class, this school absolutely refuses to recognize you. I was told from multiple faculty that when you walk you're absolutely prohibited from wearing honors regalia, they won't announce your name with your honors and say it's all in the name of "equality". This is absolutely disgusting for those that have worked very hard to get the best grades and sacrificed a lot. Apparently if you are 4.0 student you are selfish, prideful, think you are better than your peers, and Jesus is disappointed in you (as told to me personally by faculty). Most of the faculty and a lot of the students who work for the school are completely incompetent on multiple levels. They are a nightmare to deal with and if you try to find answers as to why your college doesn't recognize anyone who is graduating with full honors you are met with complete idiocy. Now there are some good teachers on campus and faculty, but they are few and far between. This school is also cheap, but it comes at a price in more ways that one. BYU-Idaho is the best thing to ever happen to me. It is a great university with a great environment. Every class is opened with a prayer which I didn't really like at first but I have grown to love it. Most teachers are very understanding of all kinds of circumstances and the classes are small enough that the teachers actually try to get to you know. It is just a very caring environment compared to other universities. Like others have said, the academic advising center and the financial aid center are run by a bunch of students who have no idea what they're doing which is quite frustrating but you will get help eventually just probably not as quickly as you'd want. The health center is also really hard to get ahold of and not very helpful but all schools have their down falls. Overall, BYUI is a great university. It has the lowest tuition you will ever find but also a quality education. They do have an intense honor code in some aspects but if you can't follow it and want to complain about it, go somewhere else. The honor code is put in place to keep students safe.Addy Merrill

Does anyone get the feeling that many of these 5 star reviews are ingenuine? I attended Provo College for 2 semesters in 2011. I believe at the time they only offered an Associates for nursing, not a BSN. The tuition was very expensive, but they sit you down 1 on 1 with someone who gets you started on loans. At the time it seemed great that they were so helpful, but l later realized it was benefitting them more than me…which is why they make that part of the process so easy for students. I ended up leaving because the financial aid ended after 2 semesters and I didn't want $60k of debt for a 2 year nursing degree. The other thing that I didn't like was even though I was paying them insane tuition, they would have us come to a classroom for remote learning from Utah State University. This means you might take a math course from them and pay 3 grand, or however much it costs for one class, but you are basically doing it online/remote through USU…but you're paying way more than if you just went to USU. I later went to UVU and was able to compare the anatomy course I did at PC versus what students said it was like at UVU, and the course at UVU held students to a much higher standard. After a short personal experience at this college, and the ability to compare it to the other colleges I've attended, I wouldn't recommend it.Derek Drennan

I am about to finish my first year of nursing school. I have really enjoyed my experience here at Provo College. One of the the many things that I like about this program is the faculty. The faculty really gets to know you and you aren't just another number in the classroom. Each of them know me personally and even call me by my nickname. The faculty really wants you to succeed in the program. Tudors are made available to you if you are having problems in a course at no extra cost to you. Currently as a nursing program we are working on a service project, where we are making blankets for a local pediatrics unit. This is a great program that I would highly recommend! Provo College is such a great school!! The faculty, staff, and program administrators are totally invested in the students. I felt a genuine sense of caring from everyone there the first time I visited the campus- even the campus president took time to introduce himself and get to know me a little. The nursing program is amazing – all of my friends in the program had great internships, passed the NCLEX test the first time and have found fantastic jobs they love. The other programs are amazing also. I can't say enough good about this school!!!Staci

The location of campus is one of the most beautiful locations for a college campus. It is accepting of so many people and cultures which allows for such a unique learning environment. Located near the north shore, you have a good opportunity to learn more about the rural area you are in as opposed to a busier place like Waikiki. Very good school. The class sizes are small, which allows for more interaction with the professors. The student body id from all over the world, which allows for diversity. The school also does a good job of building respect for the community. That being said, there definitely needs to be an improvement in communication from faculty to students. School here is nice and if you need something cheap, but UVU reinforces the comment that "University education is becoming less valuable." Half my professors were either teaching here their first time, didn't speak English, or had no expertise in their subject. I passed 2 years of credits by watching videos and drawing pictures during class: not because I'm smart, but because there was no content. Like in high school, many of the professors have 30% percent of their grade centered around attendance. Not participation, but attendance. So yes, I ignored class because everything I needed for an A was provided online. I'm typing this now during Philosophy class, and I am not missing anything. Books are hardly ever used but are "required" according to the professors. They gather dust on my shelf. Most problems here need to be fixed across the nation not just UVU, but I am a very frustrated student in my twenties because I don't know where my money is going. Teachers aren't happy with pay and all have second jobs. The building and resources are really really nice but I rarely need to use them since the internet was invented. UVU in general education has the same quality as Khan Academy except here, there is a physical address they want you to come to. There is a good range of food options but mostly crowded into the same building. Parking is ridiculous and there is no reason to pay $90 a year for the clustered insanity that the school created. Use the darn money to hire a civil engineer for God's sake. Once you pass general education and focus in to better classes, the rooms get nicer and the teaching quality doubles. Don't come here if you're not willing to graduate. Location is fine other than the city planning on the busiest road outside. If you're coming from the south east your drive will be dangerous, traffic is terrible and construction has been in effect for 4 years now. Very annoying. Train station is very convenient and is likely your best choice if you have a transportation method to your nearest station. Students who work feel punished because rent in the area is high, and pay low. Scholarships are handed to those without jobs first, those who aren't working for rent and tuition are the ones handed money from the school. Afternoon/Night classes are poor in options and schedule so working at a volatile job is ever more of a punishment. (Data from a few friends and strangers) Many activities, but the activities most advertised in my buildings were focused for helping women, about guest speakers, for the LGBT community, or cost $15. So I've never been to one, though free lectures and speeches are common. Overall, UVU focuses on medium-to-low education and welcoming everyone with open arms. But once you're here, you may want to transfer to BYU or drop out entirely.Isaac Benge

Coming here was the best decision I have ever made. Every single professor cares about my learning and the fact that the average class size is 23 (I’ve never had a class over 25) makes it so my teachers know me, know my name, know what type of student I am, and some even came to my wedding! I have also been incredibly impressed with the resources. You would have to TRY to fail at UVU, because they truly make it so easy to succeed. From job resources, free tutoring, professor office hours, financial aid and scholarships, and everything in between I honestly feel like every single person I talk to wants me to succeed. The campus is amazing and INDOORS like seriously it is the best part of campus. Shorts in the winter and pants in the summer. Sure parking can be hard, but you are 100% going to find that at any university and it is really only bad after 10am so if you have classes before that you will be fine. The social life is great and the activities are fun and well attended. Free food at all times and tons of on campus food options. I honestly feel like the education I received is worth a million times more than what the tuition is (one of the lowest in the nation for a university). UVU focuses on Engaged Learning, or learning by doing, and most my classes don’t even have textbooks or tests, just projects and resume building it’s amazing. Add that to the fact that it is open enrollment and you can see why it is the largest university in the state. Seriously. Come take a tour at least and see how awesome UVU is.Justine Rupprecht

In all honesty do NOT go here, if you have a better option do not come to this college, it is a over glorified high school. They aren't too expensive which is nice, but they charge many other ways, you must pay to take tests if you are not there the first day, they offer no flexibility when taking classes especially if you are working full time. The professors are 50/50 you either get great ones that work with you, answer quickly to your emails, and are awesome. Or you get awful ones that only two kids pass their class, they will put you on academic probation which I don't get because I am paying to go to school here, so why does it bother them if I failed one class because the professor was awful. Pretty awful education experience. The vast majority of professors are terrible teachers. In fact, it's apparent they care more about their research that the school funds, than the actual students and the material they are teaching. So many teachers seem to have the mindset that "Oh, if these students aren't as passionate about this topic as I am, they are going to fail." Of course, there are a few incredible teachers, but they are few and far between. Not to mention, that a large population of the students act extremely entitled and judgy. Kinda of ironic, considering the school is owned and funded by a church that claims to have the most accurate understanding of Jesus Christ. Attending the school is incredibly cheap, however, to which I will praise. The opportunity to make it through school without any debt is a massive help for many. That being said, plan on changing your major multiple times, because almost every program is extremely competitive and very very difficult to get into. AMAZING!!! BYU runs one of the largest, if not the largest, comprehensive summer youth sports program in the country. They consistently draw student athletes from all over Utah, the Intermountain West, The Unites States and even have a number of international athletes every year. We have sent our own kids for 5+ years in multiple sports. They love it!! They love the week long sport specific camps, the housing option, the friends, camp counselors, student coaches, meals at the Canon Center and ice cream at the creamery store. This is a large campus with a number of different facilities. I love that there is no charge for the Bean museum or the Paleontology museum. The creamery makes just about the BEST I've cream I've ever tasted. The Wilkinson Student Center has a bowling alley and am extensive good court and more. Love the Arts center and basically find there is too much here to tell about, but it's worth a visit just to explore the campus. Love the bell concerts at noon.Leona Keesling

I graduated from this school several years ago, and had a great experience here. The teachers and other staff helped me every step of the way, and I graduated with my Associates degree from Utah Valley University at the same time as I got my high school diploma. I left this school knowing the names of every student in my grade and having many friends and acquaintances who I’m still regularly involved with years later. Some are among my closest friends today, many have helped me to grow in my career, and I can only hope that several can say the same of me. Staff does change over time, but while much of the staff has changed since I attended the school, of the staff whom I’ve met in recent years and of those still there from when I attended, I couldn’t recommend these individuals highly enough. I would be delighted for my own kids to have the experience of attending a school overseen and supported by these great people. In terms of aiding academic success and social engagement of its students, this school is amazing. You will have to get involved with local city league sports, theaters, etc. to get involved with some of the extra curricular activities and to take some subject (such as dance, music, etc) that you would find at other schools. Some of these subjects can be taken instead on UVU’s campus, but it’s worth checking which ones are available while making a decision regarding if this school is for you. So long as any of this does not deter you, you’ll find an excellent experience at UCAS. The school regularly organizes fun activities on campus both during and outside of school hours, and there was no shortage of fun things to do with my classmates while here even without our own sports teams. Definitely consider this school if you (as a potential high school student) or your child is hard-working and motivated to succeed! Your experience at UCAS is defined by whether you can survive (and I use that word literally) the curriculum. It is important to take note of the teachers: they are excellent people and I love almost all of them. Their classes, partucularly those from Mr. C (John Christensen), Warren Kunz, Dr. Ross, and many others, were often inspiring and enthralling. The experience of a UCAS student is one of the most beautiful and enlightening times a person can go through, should they choose to allow it to be that way. Many students would disagree. There are those at UCAS who did not choose this path, or are there simply because their parents put them in the program. If it is not your choice to attend this school, then your time at UCAS will be draining, strenuous, and boring. This is NOT a school for everyone, make no mistake. This is not a school that welcomes those not willing to put forth the effort to do well. This is not a school for those who do half-baked work, or for those who try to take the easy way. Indeed, there is no "easy" way at UCAS. I had peers during my junior year who cheated on multiple exams (I won't name them) who bemoaned the injustices of a system that would punish them for their actions. This school was not for them. There are those who will pass tine in study halls doing things besides studying. UCAS is not where those people belong. The eduction part of the school itself honestly is great. I had multiple instances where without the teachers help outside of class I wouldn't be where I am today at this school. I specifically love all of the math teachers there (Mr. Lowery, Mr. Binford, Mr. Shiffman) I didn't take any of the other math teachers classes. I also really liked Dr. Ross outside of the classroom, she was fantastic with the students and myself. I have some criticism though. For one political science is extremely biased. Mr. Barksdale straight up told the class how happy he was when Biden got elected, if that year he was actually in class in person then we would have some very long debates, but when he returned I offered to debate him but he told me he was too busy. My issue is that he was obviously biased, you shouldn't be telling kids in high school how politics are in a skewed way because lots of people don't know anything different. It's awful. I was taught that gender is fluid Finally, I want to mention that the DJ's the school hires for dances are awful. I mean AWFUL. It got so bad that I became a DJ myself and now actually have regular gigs every week. I have asked multiple times to do school dances because I know I can do a good job compared to what the school hires but I have received no support. Isn't it the job of the school to give the best opportunities for its students? I 100% recommend Crushendo for bar prep or during law school. The program gives you the most important information in a way that is easy to understand and memorize. You also have lifetime access to the material which is a huge benefit as well. The audios are about an hour long and during that you get a comprehensive review of the subject with mnemonics to help you memorize it all. I was able to study while I went on walks, sat by the pool, or worked out. I think that was a great benefit as well, as I was able to get outside and stay active and mentally healthy during a high stress time. On my first bar attempt I used one of the big name bar prep companies. I followed their study plan but I always felt behind and like there would be no way for my to memorize all of the needed information. With Crushendo, I felt confident going into the exam, I felt great about what I had memorized, and my score increased a ton because of it. I also participated in tutoring from Adam, and again, it was great choice. I did 5 hour long sessions. We would meet once a week and it helped me stay on top of the study plan and stay positive while studying. Usually for the first half of our sessions we would review some of my practice essays, and then for the last half we would go over any questions that came up during the week and work on practice questions. Working with Adam was great. He has a ton of great advice and information to give. Price wise, I’m pretty sure the total UBE package and my tutoring was still cheaper than buying from a big bar prep company. You may feel nervous going with a newer bar prep company, and the program doesn’t necessarily have all the bells and whistles that others had, but I found it didn’t matter at all. I’m so glad Crushendo was recommended to me and I went with them, I really don’t think I would have passed if it wasn’t for this program!MacKenzie Potter

I highly recommend Crushendo. I took the Nevada Bar Exam and used one of the big companies to prepare for that exam. After passing the Nevada Bar Exam I began practicing law in Las Vegas. When I decided to take the Utah Bar Exam I knew that I would need to take another course in order to pass. I felt overwhelmed because I did not have the time to study after work that many courses require. A friend told me about Crushendo, so I started listening on my commute, while I worked out, etc… I would also spend about two hours a day reading the outlines and memorizing every mnemonic. I highly recommend this bar prep course. As an attorney practicing in one state for several years, I attempted to take the Uniform Bar Exam using some borrowed and older bar prep materials to save money. That didn't work out so well for me. After an unsuccessful attempt, I purchased Crushendo and followed their study plan. I went in to my second attempt at the UBE with much more confidence and with a significantly improved plan for writing essay responses and answering the MBE questions. We love Discovery Tree! My daughter is always happy to be there and comes home in a good mood and talking all about her day. I love being able to peek in at their app throughout the day to see what was served for meals and how much she ate, if she cooperated with taking a nap, activities they did, photos of their day, etc. They have a good schedule that fosters learning, play, rest, and eating, which I think really helps set the kids up to have a good day and know what to expect. My daughter loves to talk about what they learned, her teachers, the yummy food, and all her friends. She’s gone from emotional and unmotivated in the mornings, to excitedly pointing out her school and chomping at the bit to go. We’ve been with DTA for 2.5 years now! We are super happy with it. It is pricier than other daycares and we have sometimes struggled to know whether we should switch to save money. However, when it comes down to it the quality of care our son receives makes spending an extra $100-$200/month worth it for us. We know he is safe, getting fed good meals, and that he is learning a lot, that he has good friends and high-quality teachers who remember him and care about him. The only time we had a little bit of trouble was mostly because our son was being insanely stubborn about potty training, but we communicated his needs to his teacher and she was responsive and supportive of our wishes for him, which we really appreciated. I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a daycare and will continue to do so.Camille Messick

After looking at other preschools Discovery Tree in Springville was much nicer and more professional looking than the others. The added accessibility and communication through their app is awesome. Being able to pay on it and check on your child’s progress through the day is really helpful and reassuring (you got her to nap?! Awesome!). The daily emails with how the day went are also helpful and often come with pictures of your child doing some activity during the day as well are awesome too! I've been attending RxFit Provo for 6 months and have absolutely loved my experience. Prior to ever setting foot in a group class, I spent 6 onboarding workouts with the owner of the gym as my personal guide to the exercises! If that isn't a class-act move, I don't know what is! Mark's kindness and attentiveness truly set the tone for the my confidence moving forward with the process. As someone recovering from trauma, this has been a perfect, personal, and empowering tool for my furthered healing. I've felt myself becoming increasingly comfortable with actually listening to my body as an information center through this practice, which has been so rewarding. I've also never been very athletic; every coach I've worked with has helped me tailor the workouts to my skill level without even the smallest implication of shame. To top everything else off, I have hemiplegic migraines that can be triggered by too-rigorous exercise. Every coach has made absolutely sure that I am cared for throughout every group class (and all keep my ultimate health in mind right along with me as we work out)! Marvelously, this is not the place for bloated fitness platitudes and shame-based, impersonal, "just discipline yourself better" training that so many gyms tout as the necessary track for results. The heart behind this gym (coaches and members included) is what's made this a safe place for me to walk the path of coming home to myself. Any frequent, self-caring gym goer can attest to the glorious high of learning what your body can really do. Now, I am no exception. I started going here about 2 months after I got pregnant and stayed until the day the baby was born! I loved how the coaches made you feel like you mattered and kept the environment super positive. It's easier working out with a group and, especially with being pregnant, the coaches (I basically went every morning when Tyre was the coach– she is awesome!!) were really helpful in modifying the workouts to what my body was capable of doing and also supportive in the amount of work I felt I was able to do, so I was able to listen to my body and take it slower if I needed. I love this gym!! I’ve been self conscious and hesitant about working out for the past couple years after I got out of shape a little bit, and the coaches here have completely turned that around for me! Not only have I seen results after my 3 months here, but my confidence is completely different since I started. After the last couple of years being so chaotic I was looking for something to ground me but am not typically into the vibe of yoga studios. I came here with my sister-in-law and loved the mix 3B offers. Every class I get a great workout and additionally have the opportunity to focus on listening to my mind and body. I leave feeling empowered and strong both physically and mentally. I was once a dancer but have long since lost any hint of flexibility. I have seen so much progress over the last two and a half months and am amazed at how strong, toned, and flexible I’ve become in a short amount of time. All of the teachers have been so helpful and encouraging as well! If you want to feel supported (including extremely helpful hands on adjustments) in your practice I’d recommend attending Tayler, McKenzie, or Lauren’s classes. If you want to be challenged, feel empowered, and get an amazing workout I would recommend McKenzie or Cece’s classes. If you are just starting out and are looking for helpful break downs in your practice I would recommend Tayler, Lauren, or Gigi’s classes. I typically go to the same classes every week and have had excellent experiences with the instructors I’ve taken from (which is where my recommendations come from) but I’m sure all of the other instructors are also great! Would definitely recommend the studio to anyone who is looking to feel more confident and grounded.Kenna Asay

Today was first time doing a yoga session ever and my first time to 3B yoga and it was an amazing experience. It has a nice atmosphere and a small store in front. You can rent a yoga mat from them or bring your own. The instructor we had today was amazing! She was very knowledgeable and kind. She would jump in and help on occasion, but not always which was a good balance for me. The class was rigorous and adaptable to whatever your needs and abilities are. I would highly recommend this place and I do plan to return every week!Ben Perkins

3B has been a saving grace for me during this pandemic. I love all the instructors and staff. I’ve done yoga here and there growing up but at 3B I’ve learned how to actually practice yoga CORRECTLY. I love this gym! I’ll probably do CrossFit for the rest of my life. I just really benefit from having a group class, and a scheduled workout that really push me to do my best everytime. I started out at RXFIT two years ago. It had been 6 months after having a baby, and I had all this stubborn fat that I could not get rid of. I was starting to feel depressed about myself and I just needed an extra push. CrossFit whipped me into shape and I’ve never been more confident. I continued going to CrossFit throughout my entire 2nd pregnancy and I felt strong and healthy. My recover has been so good. It’s only been 4 months since my second baby was born and I’m already basically back to my pre-pregnancy weight and I feel great. I absolutely love this place. For over a year it has consistently been my favorite part of my day. This gym has changed my life and has made fitness a lifestyle for me. I’ve lost 40lbs and at 26yrs old I’m in the best shape of my life. The coaches are amazing and make sure you are pushed and teach correct form. I have nothing but good things to say about Crossfit Rise Again. I've never been a member of a small, tight-knit community that cares so much about each other as I've experienced here. The coaches and fellow members are what make this place special. If you want to push yourself to be better and see actual results, this is the place to go. One thing you must know about the studio is that it was originally opened by a completely out there Wicca Woman named Jen who studied and practiced deep witchcraft and black magic. She became friends with me and showered me with attention even inviting me into her coven. Then after recommending that she should bring AiReal Yoga into the business she stole the idea from me and went above and beyond to cut me out of the deal. As the only instructor in Utah at the time this was 2016 I charged $75 an hour to teach. She went and found a teacher who would get trained hang all the hammocks with my instructor from Ventura California and then pay her teachers $25 an hour. Disgusting behavior. I’ve heard that she has sold the studio to someone else I have no idea how that owner behaves. But the roots are all about destroying Christianity and bringing Yoga and black magic into a very highly committed LDS community- I am disgusted by the origins of this studio but I have not been back since the new owner took over. I am a highly skilled professional Kundalini Yoga Teacher who has been teaching since 2014. I know my shizzzzzz I would definitely stay away from this studio. It’s not worth it because of the bad blood. Many Yoga Teacher ‘s worked under the first owner and had absolutely horrible experiences with her she worked at IBM. I am a yoga teacher and my friend Chanel told me to come to InBalance and do a class with her last month- I have since been back many times and even brought my new-to-yoga sister when she arrived for a family reunion from another state. These teachers are top of the line- some of the very best in Utah. I’m so grateful to the owners for treating me, my friends, and my sister with respect and professionalism, and to the many teachers who “balanced” (see what I did there?) their classes so those with experience and those who were beginners could enjoy the hot room equally. I have taken The Curtis Method hypnobirthing classes twice now with my husband for our first two pregnancies. I highly recommend! Lauralyn is an incredible instructor. She intricately weaves both the physiological components of birth with the meditation/emotional components. This class is beneficial for anyone preparing for labor and birth – whether you are looking to have an unmedicated, epidural, cesarean, or other birth, you will benefit. I recommend her class over and over to everyone I know. The best part, this class not only helped me to prepare for birth, but also taught me relaxation techniques that I have used in all areas of my life. Our birthing class was only partly in person due to the Covid shut down. But Lauralyn was able to create an online class that delivered quality content and support to help us feel prepared for our first child’s birth even during the pandemic! After taking this class, I was confident and knowledgeable about the decisions I was making to make my birth journey my own. The Curtis method allows flexibility for your birth and treats all birthing experiences as beautiful. We loved the relaxation soundtracks and all the techniques my husband learned to help me during labor. I think about the birth of my baby often, and it brings me so much joy. My husband and I used the Curtis Method for our second and third births; I wish I had taken the class before having our first baby. Something I really enjoy about this place is that the instructors are extremely friendly and interactive! The environment is very welcoming and the instructors make sure everyone has a wonderful experience at the dojo. They adapt the private lessons to fit your needs and pace, and the group lessons are always a fun and uplifting experience! You don’t need to already have experience in martial arts to come here. People of any experience can come and always learn something new. This dojo has got to be one of the best dojo’s I have ever been in. They physically and mentally prepare you for any unknown dangers. This place genuinely helps me with my health, self confidence, and self defense. The main purpose of this dojo is to help people have a better mindset and physical and mentally train your self to surpass your limits in being a warrior. I went to the women's self defense class last week and it was so good! They had lots of female instructors and they made it such a comfortable and welcoming environment. For each of the techniques they taught, they split us into small groups so we got lots of individual practice and immediate feedback/tips from the instructors. This studio exceeded our expectations! We came here for my bachelorette party and i can’t tell you how fun it was. All friends with completely different backgrounds and comfort levels were all doing their own thing and having a blast by the end of the night. Our instructor was so kind and patient and helped all of us feel confident with the different moves, it was SO clean and organized, cutest bridal room for changing, Polaroids and refreshments were a blast, and they even let you DJ the last few minutes. They never let us feel rushed— gave us plenty of time even when we were running late. KINDEST most respected staff and beautiful studio overall. I tried out a class here, & I was impressed by this studio. The teacher, Julia, was experienced & offered to adjust things for me if I needed (I'm in recovery from knee surgery). The studio itself was clean, open, & cozily decorated. There was an issue with my sign up (I'd signed up online & yet wasn't on the register), & they worked it out quickly for me and were accommodating. Cost for a drop in class was very reasonable at $25. It is cheaper if you pay monthly, & they have different payment/class options. I got a cute little gift bag for being a first timer as well. I was so impressed with this place! I just googled a place to do pole dancing for my friend’s bachelorette party, booked here, and hoped for the best. Let me tell you, I was BLOWN AWAY! April taught our class and she was incredible. She went our pace, helped us all feel comfortable and confident. Seriously, we all left that place feeling like pole goddesses.
