Worked with Eddie as an instructor and enjoyed coming in to learn about EMS. Once you get into the hang of things, you will start to enjoy coming into the lectures and skills days. 5/5 recommend Eddie and HPEMT as your EMS training location. They work with you along the way through the course and do whatever you need help in to succeed. There was a mix of students who were both familiar and not familiar with the EMS field and everyone succeeded with the guidance of HPEMT.Dylan Guerrero

HealthPro is literally the best place ever! So much hands on work & the environment is great. The teachers are amazing and very helpful and don’t mind taking time to stay after class to help. My instructor was Eddie, he was the real deal. He tells stories , and gives details on what it’s going to truly be like out there. The instructor was very knowledgable. He presented the material in a way that he correlated and gave examples that connected to everyday experiences. He made the class go by pretty quickly! The classroom was cozy had it's independent AC. The necessary equipment was really available and accessible. The classroom is inside what looks like a roofing company and as I stated previously it was within the same building but still was independent from the other company. This class was in great detail the instructor was easy to understand he made sure everyone was up to speed. This is my second time taking my BLS with them and I plan to be back in two years for my next renewal. They sent me a reminder that my renewal was coming up which I loved.Melinda O'Brien

What an amazing place. First and foremost I was able to pass the NREMT within a week of finishing the (accelerated) course. That's ~3 months to become a certified EMT with no background. Secondly, everyone here was extremely professional, patient, and skilled. No BS but also no arrogance. The rotating instructors were super helpful to understand EMS from different perspectives (fire, hospital, ambulance etc.) and always came across as being highly competent even when they weren't trying. Kim and Greg and the rest of the folks running the place are friendly and honest and just great people. I'd say the course focused more on practical and hands-on parts of EMS (skills, demeanor, patient care etc.) then anatomy/physiology, which is exactly what I wanted (there was enough anat/phys to pass the NREMT, also the textbook is handy for additional study). Beyond the in-class days (Mon-Thurs 6-10ppm) I dedicated most of Sunday to the class and was able to pass without a problem. Lastly, they ran an amazing course during a pandemic, and I never felt it was watered down nor felt unnecessarily exposed, which itself is an accomplishment. An excellent EMT course- a lot of work, so be prepared to work- it is worth it and such an accomplishment! Tyler is an extremely effective teacher and would always go out of his way to help us understand any and all information. His practical skills instructors of EMT's and Paramedics were very supportive and focused on being sure that we all became effective and proficient clinicians in the field. The entire staff, Kim in the front office included, continued their support throughout the class. The two internships were eye-opening and a great experience. I was amazed as to how the information, skills and constant practice kept building throughout the course making me more confident each and every week. I felt totally prepared for the final exam and the National Registry Exam by the end of the course. Be aware This is a Rush course if you haven’t been in school in over 10 years like me u will not pass this class I had no background of anatomy & physiology so I dropped out after 6 weeks enrolling in a community college we’re I can learn without being in a rush, I give them 3 stars because the owners of this school don’t care if you pass or fail they only care about your money this 10 week course use to be 13 weeks and they made it shorter to make more money throughout the year the instructors let u go home early most of the time and tell u to go on you tube and finish the chapters lol lesson learned.Patty D

I took the part-time EMT course at the beginning of the year and I absolutely loved it. It is intense, especially if you got other things on your plate (I definitely did) and it gets really hard to balance things out. But I do have to say that the structure of the course, classmates, and instructors had made it very possible. I am especially thankful that I had the opportunity to learn and train under an inspiring, caring, and an overall amazing instructor like Shaun. His encouragement played a big role in pushing each one of us to work harder and he always had ways to engage us and prepare us better for exams. As long as you really invest time and effort into learning the material and even go out of your way at times, you will succeed. Almost all of us took the NREMT exam already and passed it from first time. I cannot recommend this course enough!Rama Al-Shreteh

Went to West Coast EMT in Riverside about a month ago. Program is accelerated, so you should prepare before you come into class. There is a lot of students who think it will be easy since it’s accelerated and they don’t put much time into studying. The primary instructor Shaun H was wonderful. He made the class fun, he went into great detail with his lectures and he also held each and every student accountable for their time in class. Lindsay, the office manager was also very helpful. Both Lindsay and Shaun get two thumbs up . Thank you West Coast EMT, I passed National Registry at 70 questions and so did most of my friends in the class.Christina Cortez

I’m only giving this two stars because I had a really (Kyle Matthews) good instructor. But overall the experience was very bad. We had no skills instructors so we had re-attending students teaching us skills training. Also they are never clear about any information so if you have an issue, trying to contact them make sure you send 5 to 6 emails and phone calls. But if you planning on taking this course I recommend that, you take the DAYTIME classes! They don’t seem to care about the night courses. But overall I just feel like the school is just a cash grab. You’ll be better off going to a college.Ray Williams

On Oct 2nd at approx 4:30pm my daughter called 911 we were traveling through when I became very ill the firemen showed up 1st they were fantastic I will never forget how I was treated by them compassionate caring and with respect and understanding. I was on blain st in riv in parking lot of Jack In The Box. The AMR Ambulance showed up right off I felt the ugliness of the Male that was working he treated me terribly he was rough and non caring he was rude I will never forget the pain and I will never forget how badly I was treated this AMR employee should think about getting into another career being he has NO empathy whatsoever. The girl that was with him was very kind and I thank her for that. But again I will never forget how I was treated by the Male AMR. There employers should re educate these employees that don't know how to act decent and kind. The patient should matter and be treated with dignity. The only reason I put 2Stars is for the girl that was kind I could not give anymore stars or I would have confused what happen to me. Hopefully he won't repeat this with anyone else.Candy Ortega

As a patient and Respiratory Therapist for over 40 years I can truthfully say they saved my ___ last night…my first 911 call due to my Type 1 diabetes. Due to a rapid fall in my BG I became confused immediately and although I had chewable sugar, liquid sugar and glucagon with me I was unable to communicate instructions to those around me. I know they put up with me asking them if they knew what they were doing and still smiled. Thanks guys! And please pass on to fire medics! God bless…I could be dead.Susan Lawson

My son is staying at Corona Regional medical centers Rehab facility/subacute and we use AMR for medical transportation. The staff is talented and amazing. The one and only incident was when we were canceled due to excessive 911 calls, I agree that the 911 calls over rule a doctor's appointment. Keep up the great work guys!Linda Pannone

Seems like some of these paramedics forget the thing of 'just taking care of the patient and dropping them off and forgetting about them', not remembering consistent patients in severe need of care and they took their time showing up last time it's like if I get a paramedic crew with someone I've ridden with before especially some of the older guysNick Butler

Very competent, compassionate, and professional female and male EMT transported my 84 year old mother on 6/11/18(approximately 1630 hours)from Riverside Medical Clinic Urgent Care to Riverside Community Hospital. They stayed with her and comforted her until she was settled into the hospital. Thank-you both and be safe as you do God's work.Greg Adams
