20 Best Emt Programs In Philadelphia, PA (2022 Updated)

I went to Delaware County Community College part time for four years after high school. It's one of the best decisions I ever made. I really didn't know what I wanted to do right out of high school and I didn't want to go to a super expensive university and still not be sure. I started out with general studies. I just finished my Liberal Arts associate's degree there this past spring. I enjoyed my time at this school. I got to take a lot of different classes to really figure out what I like and what I dislike, and it's way more affordable to do that here. The campus is beautiful, especially the STEM center. There's lots of helpful services and the professors I had were great. I'm now transfering to another school to study graphic design and I feel like DCCC helped me get on the right track. I would highly recommend this school to everyone!Natalie Cellini

The cost isn't horrible and the classes are similar to classes offered by four year universities. The problems I have lie with the administration (financial aid, career center, cashier office.) They do not know how to deal with students in a timely, concise manner. I was unable to get in and complete a single course for the last two years due to administrative problems, even though I had been with them previously. I would recommend having another school lined up in case you find yourself in the same boat.Akiba Perry

I went here from fresh out of high school from 2016-2019 and graduated there with my associates. Such a Beautiful campus and I had a very great experience at DCCC, I’ve had some pretty good professors during my time there although some did seem to only be there for a check. During my time here I was also in the KEYS program and they have such wonderful staff very helpful and friendly. They have a nice library and the food in the cafeteria is really good too.Nicole Flood

Please read regarding the 46th ranked PCOM PA program! After attending PCOM PA program, I made it out by the skin of my teeth, literally!! I spoke with numerous PA colleagues from other programs and my experience was horrible compared to theirs. I applied to PCOM because I knew of the name PCOM hold but that really only applies to the DO program, the PA program is explained below. The PA program is run by people who could careless about you as a student. I say this factually because I have heard them talking about how they only care about their PANCE 1st time pass rate. What this means is they wouldn’t care if they lost over 75% of the class as long as those that finished passed the PANCE 1st time. Professor say differently but they don’t mean it in their actions. The averages on tests are low 80's, they provide NO CURVE or grade BOOSTERS and you need to keep a 3.0 to progress through program! Even the employees in the learning center, who offer tutoring and study techniques say that the PA program is not well managed is over kill and loses many students. For example in 1 term we have a 10 credit class but sit in class for 16-18 hrs a week for it. Then we have a 10% exam that covers 16 different ppt that are minimum of 60 slides each all taught and tested on under 14 days. Finals were comprehensive – 100Q test that covered 90 ppt all about 60 slides each. That is 5,400 slides of information! Again that is just one class and all the 2 credit classes are very similar. They have a Pathology class for the PA students but its not directed to PA, its the EXACT same lectures and tests the DO students get but PA students get 1/3 the time to learn and digest info. Each of those PPT range from 100-150 slides each. The best class though in the program is the Pharmacology. That professor actually seems like she cares about you as a student and writes straight forward Qs to test your knowledge. I get that PA school or any Masters program is challenging and should require a little more thinking and work. But at PCOM they teach you the same curriculum that the DO program gets but you have to do it in 1/3rd the time. They never test you on Keyword or Hallmark information that the PANCE tests you on. PCOM tests you on the pointless information that they find within the required reading of a 2000 pg textbook called Current medical diagnosis & treatment, which is a medical reference book not a textbook. To me I think they literally flip to a page and with eyes closed placed their finger on a spot and then write a Q based off the word their finger landed on. When it comes to the clinical rotations they have the most strict guidelines ever and rarely if ever give students their suggestions they would like! Out of my whole class, I think only 1 person got a rotation they suggested and there were about 60 students who have ability to submit. PS this is Pre Covid, I doubt they let anyone now post covid. I submitted 3 and got 0 I wanted, including my elective!!! Finally you have to do a RESEARCH PAPER in this program. The research professor is very belittling in how he talks to students. The research paper is a waste of time and pointless in teaching you how to be a PA. It solely is to make the PA program look good by them posting it on their webpages. They could make the class way more enjoyable and not full of busy work, but the rumor around the program is that the professors purposely want to take you to your breaking point not help you excel. I’m glad I barely made it through and ever have to deal with PCOM again, I'll never donate or be a rotation site for them! I hope by sharing my view of the school this makes people question even applying to PCOM. We need PAs out in the world, go to another school as being a PA is not about jumping through a million hoops and doing countless busy work assignments that PCOM mandates all while being continually put down and belittled by various professors in the way they talk to you.B J

I was recommended to see Dr. Todd Kelman by Dr. Robby Pullen to look at an x-ray taken of my right hand. He wants me to have an MRI to reach a better conclusion than the x-ray shows. We shall see what the final outcome will be. Today, I had an appointment to see Dr. Kelman for an injection on my right hand. Hopefully this will bring some relief. The swelling had decreased somewhat, and because of other medical issues, there is a limitation of methods to be employed. Arthritis is not only painful, but also a nuisance. I'll check with Dr. Kelman in a couple of weeks to see how everything is progressing.Harold Tucker

I left a message about changing pharmacies and expected to wait a while for a call back, but the delightful Fatima reached out to me within 5 minutes of my call and was already working on transferring my prescription. Good only for specific programs like Physical Therapy and ? and if you are planning to spend 1-2 semesters abroad. Their travel abroad opportunities is their claim to fame, Otherwise, it is a very boring campus, the food is pretty bad, the dorms are dirty for what you what you pay, and the majority of the students are commuters or live off campus so you don; t get the full college experience. As a Communications Major, I would HIGHLY SUGGEST another school. I wasn't prepared for a job as an editor on a magazine and most journalism jobs expect you are at least intermediate at Adobe Suite,using a Mac, able to do film/ photography and write, and chase are stories for $10 an/hr. The nostalgic days of the investigative reporter and my visions of bringing justice to the world like Edward R, Murrow and Hunter Thompson were over long ago, at least at this school, but the BILLS for just 2 years at Arcadia ( I was a transfer student keep on coming and probably will till I die). The Communications department is a joke and 90% is run by adjuncts. I had some good classes but I should have learned how to make a perfect resume, portfolio, and all the computer skills you're expected to know now. It is a beautiful campus although they neglect to say you are bordering a ghetto. Don't let that damn castle lure you in. Small class sizes are nice but you can get that at other schools for a lot less money The worst part is no one has ever heard of this school outside the Philadelphia area, so it is kind of embarrassing considering I am fairly smart and could have went to a better school if I had more money to pay for it. All in all, make Arcadia your back-up school and commute if u can to save a lot of money. You can throw a party in your back yard more exciting than any I ever went to at Arcadia.E morrison

Prepped for a year to do well enough on the GRE, gain work experience, and crush my interview to gain admission into their physician assistant program…which I did. Even visited the campus before accepting their offer to get an impression of if it was right for me. Well, it was a classic bait and switch [in quality]. The castle ambiance is luring, but the administration and chairs are a soup-sandwich falling apart. Two professors were fine but the rest couldn't separate out their divorced unhappy lives from their duty to teach. Some had a strange understanding of pathophysiology that makes me chuckle 12 years later now that I know better. Plus, they tracked negative feedback on courses by seeing what time your evaluation populated off and when an unnamed new one populated on…so there was no true anonymity. Luckily my academic advisor went to bat for me when I was threatened with expulsion if I ever gave another negative review. It prepared me but I am sure another university would have done so just as well with kinder and more just intent as well as better organization.Nathan Whitfield

I have spent 4 years at this great institution and I plan to stay for a further 3 years in pursuing my DPT degree. Many complain of a lack of activities and in my opinion it's due to the lack of effort many put into finding things to do. I have found it incredibly easy to have fun while enjoying the peacefulness of avoiding inner city sound pollution. If you are pursuing a degree in any biological studies and want close personal interaction with professors, this is the place to be. This university has opened many doors for me and I am grateful. I will be honest in saying that it needs a tune up in some categories, student affairs I'm staring at you, but it succeeds in preparing you for the real world. Finally, if you want to see the world, there is no better place. I have been to London and the Virgin Islands for study abroad and have had many friends that have explored nearly every corner of the world. I joined Drexel University as a Computer Science major with a sole aim to take transfer to a better institution. The only two things that I liked at Drexel was :- 1. Scholarship and Financial Aid 2. Math faculty (Dimitri, Jason and Pavel Grinfield) The CS lectures were aweful, so was the CS faculty. I had a 4 GPA for 3 continuous quarters (that's how long I stayed here). CS 164 was a course which taught Javascript language. However, I knew more JavaScript before taking the course than I came out learning after the course. Totally confusing. Popyack was my professor. CS 171 and 172 were fine, just because I had prior experience with C++. In 8 out of 10 lectures I fell asleep, because they were extremely boring. The professor made no eye contact what so ever. Half of the time what he says would make no sense. The labs don't really help you out, they are poorly designed. Most labs will take more time than the time allotted. You'll have to go home with extra work. The university is fraud and extremely unmanaged. There's no infrastructure compared to the good colleges. Small football field. The area is not safe at all. You keep hearing this person got shot, that person got robbed, raped etc. They do not maintain student to faculty ratio. Classes are oversized and poorly air conditioned. Drexel course registration system is very poor. Generally by the time your registration time starts most of the classes you had planned to take would be full. Leaving you sweating and worried early in the morning (around 7 am). There's something called Drexel Central at Drexel, which helps you out with general/administrative/financial aid questions. I emailed them many a times, however, out of 5 emails, I only got reply to 3 of them. Bad service. (They say they maintain a well-designed database system for all the messages/inquiries/support). They compare themselves to UPenn. (Yes, you can laugh). Also, some professors say that Drexel Dragons are much better than UPenn students. (Laugh again). Extremely expensive. (So much money for nothin'. In fact, the tuition is more than that of UPenn which is an Ivey League) There are two places where you can go and have meals, and hang out with friends too. However, the food options there is so limited that it's better you rather eat at other places and waste all your meal swipes for which you are paying about $ 2000 per quarter. Even with meal swipes you don't get everything (basically the good things). For most of the things you can't use meal swipes. For meal swipe, at one of the locations, for example you can buy Pepppperrrronnnni Pizza (You can guess the quality of the pizza! The worst pepperoni is served here.) The free refill cups are extremely small. When I joined in the Fall the cups had a good size of 16 oz, but as time flew the cups became smaller and smaller. They are now half (may be even lesser) of what they used to be. The books for the courses are at extremely high price, and are hardly used. Drexel maintains rating and review system for course and faculy, however, though it is hardly ever evaluated. (But they will send you a million emails asking you to complete course/faculty rating/review). For example, one of the Pfysics professors at Drexel, who is pathetic at teaching, asks the students to buy books if they are taking the course compulsorily, still continues this practice of making them buy books, even after so many reviews having been done against it. No action taken by Drexel. The dorm life is not bad. Except that the washrooms, toilets are not cleaned on a daily basis. The kitchen is always dirty. Laundry room is always full. Well, they do have a Subway, but the quality of service provided there is extremely poor. The guy there literally just throws everything you tell him on the bread, such that when the bread is folded, 1/4th of the sandwich comes out. Chick fil A at Drexel unlike at all other locations does not provide free refills. Again they are charging you so much for nothing. Never consider going here.Niam Tomer

Surprisingly good University, presenting a good amount of development and a few excellent professors. The co-op opportunities are very interesting, a great idea and implementation. It is, however, a very expensive education, leading to a lower prestige/cost relationship. To become a top-ranked University, Drexel still needs a lot of branding through student achievement – combined with school pride, which could be much stronger – and research projects/applications with high visibility. Both could be reached with benefits to bring more top-level students and professors and with good money usage (because there is a lot of it) and cooperations for project funding.Leonardo Rolim

I attended Drexel and I can honestly say this was the worst choice I've made in a school choice. My professors were pretty decent, but the staff are not helpful and they talk to you like you should know certain things already. I pay this damn school every month on time because I have a balance due, and they won't release my transcripts even though I am paying them upward $125 per month. Which are payments that I am never late paying. I can honestly say I regret this decision and really should have went with my first choice which was Temple and my second choice being Cheyney. I took the Hybrid EMT course in December 2020, during the height of the COVID-19 insanity that required a number of adaptations by ETA to run the in-person skills sessions safely. For context, I took the course as a 50-year-old with limited EMS background, a full-time job, and a part-time teaching job, and managed to pass the NREMT cognitive exam on my first attempt relying largely on the texts, notes, and teaching aids from the course for review. You do need to be self-motivated, and you do need to keep up with the assignments. And absolutely, positively, if you have a question, any question, you need to immediately “ring in,” because Cathy and the other instructors (who you’ll likely meet during the skills sessions) are walking textbooks on the material and how it relates to real-world practice. Success in this course/format is absolutely do-able if you stay focused and use the resources that are there. I cannot say enough good things about ETA, Cathy, and the staff instructors.Dennis Madarang

The Emergency Training Academy 100% positivity changed my life. As a high school senior having to do college work, the hybrid program gave me plentiful amount of time to complete the work successfully. Online and in person, Mrs. Barwell and the team were ALWAYS helping, motivating, and encouraging, making this academy a very happy and fun place to learn. Their kindness and inspiration was infinite, and they continued to always help, staying in contact after classes are over to answer any questions to help within the studies for the National Certification tests. My experience with the Emergency Training Academy was fantastic. My class ended this past April. The hybrid-style class allowed me to fit this class into my busy schedule, and actually helped me learn the material better while going at my own pace. Everyone who works there was incredibly knowledgable and helpful. You don't get "lost in the crowd"; You get plenty of small group instruction, and plenty of repetition. Going into the psychomotor test, I felt incredibly confident as a direct result of this class. Another part that stuck out about this class was the promptness to answer any questions or concerns I had emailed while taking the class. I never had to wait more than a day to get a response. I would absolutely recommend this class to anyone who wants to be an EMT.keyan cusick

I had Sean as my instructor for the BLS skills session and he was very pleasant to work with. After completing the online module (I used Firefox for the module), I was able to book my skills session without any trouble. There were many available time slots, some even for the same day. The skills session was very streamlined – I was in and out in under thirty minutes. Everything was very COVID safe as you are the only person in the room during the skills session. I signed up for Code1 last minute to get my PALS certification. The course was self driven online, overall took me about 3-4 hours broken up. The idea of a virtual skills session at a destination was a little strange, but I had the sweetest proctor! Ken was kind, helpful, engaging and encouraging! I wish all my AHA instructors were like him. He even structured my verbal review at the end of my skills section to meet the my job specifics. Scheduling was easy and communication was thorough— I knew exactly where I needed to be and how to access the suite. I had Ken as an instructor and he was great at tailoring the session to my knowledge level. He asked what my background was before proceeding with the ACLS portion of the session so that he had an idea of how much support to lend. All in all, a relatively pain free experience. This place stole all my documents for my tax refund which I never received. Never got information from them. They were actually pretty rude. I understand covid but they want you out the door so they tell you they will call when they never do. No one is being held accountable. It’s been a year. Always be careful who you ask for help. My experience at Safetec was subpar. The class itself had its ups and downs but I think it’s MOST worth noting that Fred (the owner) is extremely unprofessional and unhelpful. 2 other classmates and myself were unable to come to class due to positive COVID tests. When he was contacted and made aware of the test results, he never told us how to proceed and never shared the information with the class or the instructors. When we told the instructors ourselves, we were told we “may have a zoom class” but it never happened, despite texts and emails to Fred and the lead instructor. With zero communication, we were under the impression that we’d be unable to finish the class, as we missed a full two weeks despite only being able to miss 4 days by minimum state requirements. We continued to reach out to him for answers and he left several of our emails unanswered to this day. After those two weeks without being in class or led by an instructor, we were told a day before that we were “expected in class on Monday,” at which time lectures were over and testing was about to begin. It’s clear that once they have your money, you’re on your own from there. The only reason I even give it 3 stars is because of Brock (one of the instructors), who tried his best to communicate with us while also being left in the dark, and helped us prepare for our skills testing, which we passed. I took the hybrid class over the summer of 2019 with Amanda Gehringer and she was an amazing teacher who puts a lot of time and effort into her lesson plans. She is always there for her students through email, text, and extra help in person if they need it. I found her teaching method to be fun and helpful and was able to pass the cognitive exam even though I waited over a year to take it. The class is somewhat difficult and definitely takes some effort and time at home with readings, but I overall had a great experience. I have kept in touch with Amanda because I not only liked her as a teacher but as a person as well and I know that she would still be willing to help me if I ever had issues. The only thing I found annoying was that the owner Fred is disorganized and is not good at responding to emails and issues at all. However, I would reach out to Amanda who would then ask him things for me and get them done faster. The class is a little on the expensive side, but I am happy I took it at SafeTech because I learned a lot and their hybrid class worked really well with my schedule as a college student.Erica Edwards

Excellent EMT program. You will be taught everything that you need to go out on the field. The knowledge learned will prepare you for your exam, and the skills to be a great EMT. I had the pleasure of taking my class with Amanda. Amanda is an excellent instructor, I really enjoyed her class. She is professional and knows how to explain the material thoroughly. The owner Mr. Fred Fellinger is great. He was on top of his emails and responded back in a timely manner. If I had any questions, or concerns, I would email and he would help resolve the problem right away. Thank you for making this experience an excellent one. I made the choice to come to All-State Career School when a friend recommended it too me, I choose to take the M.A course, and it was one of the best choices I have made in my adult life. In the beginning it seemed that the staff was unprofessional, didn't want to be their and couldn't get in together, but less then half way into school they got their act together when they hired a basically entirely new staff who were actually committed to their jobs, the changes they made where amazing and made the rest of my time at All-State amazing,the teaches and staff are helpful and friendly, but best of all they found me my current job before I even finished my internship. I would have given 5 stares if the beginning wasn't so rocky. I recommend this school to anyone who wants to improve their life and is willing to put the time and effort into in.Brittanie Werts

By far the worse school to ever attend. The instructors slack something crazy, my fiancé was supposed to get 3 times to take his state exam & he only got to take it once cause they took so long to give him a test date & his permit expired all because they had him waiting 2 months for a test date. Nobody has tried to reach out to him . All that money to go to school for his cdl for NOTHING . I’m disappointed because I’m the one who pushed him to come to this one instead of smith & Solomon, he really didn’t want to I should’ve just let him go to the one he wanted cause he would’ve had his cdl already . Temple has been nothing but a nightmare to me. I chose temple because it has great academics and it does! The classes and the support for classes is phenomenal, but what really makes this school miserable to me is everything else. This is just my experience and if you like partying and city life, this is a good school for you. But what has been terrible for me is the food, the health services and the overall campus itself. I live in Johnson and the nearby dining hall is j and h dining hall and it has the worst food I have ever tasted. The variety is non existent and the food thy do serve is not acceptable. I got sick eating the burger and because everything is so horrendous, I refused to eat their and I almost starved to death. When I went to get myself checked out after I vomited blood, the people at the health services told me to come in the next day when I told them I was vomiting blood and I had to have my mom come all the way from home to philly to take me to the local hospital where I had to have surgery and stay a few nights! If I did what they said and waited for the appointment the next day, I could have been in terrible shape! It scares me that the food services and the health services are practically worthless in this school because instead of trying to have fun, I'm more concerned with surviving the year! I have already decided that after this year I will transfer out because I can't take the lousy services this school offers. But like previously stated, this is just my experiences and the academics are wonderful which is why I chose temple. But don't expect decent food or care because u probably won't find it here. Attending Temple University has been one of the best choices I've made in my life. I transferred from Penn State, which is itself a fantastic school, and found Temple's urban campus to be a great fit for me. Temple offers great academics, internship opportunities, extracurricular activities, sports programs, a beautiful campus–which they are always building up to be even bigger and better, caring and highly educated professors–many of whom will give their personal numbers to students for any extra help they may need, and a friendly and diverse student body. Having been to two of Pennsylvania's flagship universities offers me good insight. While both schools are great, I don't think anyone can argue against the more clear advantage Temple enjoys over Penn State: its geographical location. Having its main campus located in the heart of Philadelphia provides a wealth of opportunities for education, student life, internships, cultural experiences, and employment opportunities. I've enjoyed Temple so much I'm planning on sticking around for another three years to attend Temple's highly ranked Beasley School of Law. –Just one of the nearly 10,000 proud graduates of Temple University's Class of 2017!William Wilson

I contacted these people ONCE.. and now I'm getting nothing but spam upon spam with no way to 'unsubscribe'. It would be cheaper to go back to my own college for grad school than to take them up on their "online courses".. which require you to stay at their facility for a week during "orientation". Most graduate programs will offer you tools and resources to ensure you'll get the best, but also have the opportunity to grasp a job upon completion. If you're looking for just the degree, fine. If you're looking for the degree and the possibility to meet contacts and have a shot at a job scouting you.. look elsewhere. From what I've experienced from just the contacting/information phase.. there is no way I'd trust these people with my money. Not to mention that none of the e-mails you get are directly through a representative nor can you respond back through that e-mail. If I'm sent an e-mail through a company, I want to at least be able to respond back directly to whom sent me that e-mail. Very low transparency = Temple University is hiding something. My father in laws doctor actually had a cancellation, and asked if we could bring him in earlier in the week – I called Keystone, they were so helpful and changed the pick up date and time. Once you actually get into the classes it isn't bad, but for THREE years I have had problems, each and every time the college has realized that the fault was theirs, but it caused me to not be able to register for classes for years because all they care about is money, and they will try to charge you for bs classes they didn't even properly register for. I have had multiple verbal altercations with the enrollment services, and I don't know where the miscommunication is, but every time I talk to the front desk I get turned completely around because not a single person who works here was trained properly. They always get my information wrong, and no matter how much documentation I submit, it always seems to magically disappear. These people are terribly rude and just disorganized, and do not do anything to make this school easier on people. If you want a headache and a waste of your years though, by all means this is the place to go.Caitlin Dechert

This school is such a joke! Good luck to you if you ever have to deal with the payment center because it’s an absolute nightmare every single semester! It’s almost November and I’m still dealing with issues from this past spring! I’ve thought about transferring before I graduate just so I don’t have to deal with them anymore! Everybody better check to make sure they are charging you correctly because they like over charge hundreds of dollars! Also, if you want to be completely online, good luck with that too! Not all, but most of teachers have absolutely no idea what they’re doing and are horribly organized, don’t teach want to actually teach you anything, and never respond to emails. I think this was a good place to start but the further you go along the more complicated it got navigating signing up for classes and other things. The BIGGEST flaw this school has it wants to be a 4 year so badly that they do things most 4 year schools never do. At times it feels more like a college bootcamp than it does place that it does a place that wants to help people better themselves.Craig Moye

I went to sign up for the sept classes but my father is ill with cancer so i couldnt go, the folks over at cetronia are some real good people. Helpful from day one, they helped me with everything i needed even when i called too much they were still very happy to help. Big shout out to Nicole at Cetronia she is an absolute sweetheart and helped me prepare all my things for class. I highly recommend Cetronia, facilities are spotless and they care. I regularly visit this location to see my cardiologist. It’s a beautiful building with beautiful people around. Parking is a problem here, but I normally park at 3600 civic center boulevard and take the shuttle service to get here. For me this is very convenient and parking is $5 or free of cost sometimes. The best doctors in the region are attending the outpatient department and all the latest medical technology and equipment are available here. Went for my wife's gynecologist check up. All is good now after 4 years cancer free. Perelman is the top healthcare system in the Phila/Dela Valley area and beyond. There are several very good healthcare systems in this area & elsewhere in PA. But Perelman stands out as the best. Very busy depending on which day & time of day but lots of staff helping from parking in the garage to admissions to discharge. Staff in all areas very professional.Ken Dickinson

Perlmann has wonderful history with my family sadly we can and have been assigned to physician who is not that available. MY advice is if that happens to you change Dr's. We have and will when needed Parking is excellent and Dr's are easier to get appointments with than geisinger. Plus if you can drive in luzerne County philly is a breezecel lynn

This review is about the campus of Penn, not the academics or admissions. The campus is located in the heart of Philadelphia, University City in West Philly to be precise. Even though it is an urban campus, most of what students need are within the boundaries of the campus or within a block or two. The architecture is Late Gothic Revival, Tudor Revival, and Romanesque. The campus is mostly safe but it is a city so best to stay aware. Locust Walk is the main thoroughfare throughout the heart of the campus and there one will find campus buildings, fraternities and sororities, sculpture, dining halls, and plenty of spots to stop and relax. There are always students, faculty, staff, and visitors moving about. Parking is not easy in the area but you may get lucky with a 2/3 hr spot just make sure you pay the meter! Tickets are issued within moments of violation so driver beware!KGQ NYC

The staff in the ER and on the admitted floor is OUTSTANDING. I was treated very kindly. As soon as I arrived, I spoke to the intake and admittedly was taken back to see the Nurse Doctors ext.. A beautiful school with history and pride. As the nation's first university, UPenn locates in city of Philadelphia so the campus is within city blocks. But even with that, the campus has walking paths and give you the feeling it is a school standing by itself.Howard Zhu

I had the privilege of attending a NJ EMT Refresher Cores A B and C course with Vitality Sight. The instructors were all very professional and very dedicated to giving the class high quality training. I was impressed with all of the instructors but one in particular, Chris Sharp. He not only delivered a tremendous curriculum but the sense of humor he portrayed was EXACTLY what I needed. Great school. Not one complaint. Care so much about their student and will always work with them their best to make sure the student is taking care of. I truly see issues like students getting no attention or communication and wind up wasting credits and semesters on things they did not need and having to graduate late at places like Temple University. That would never happen at LaSalle they always are open to talk and you have to see your academic counselor before signing up for classes every semester and they are really here to help.Nicole Shull

I Graduated in 2014, School of Nursing, and I must say, I love this University, great education, intimate feel. the campus is beautiful, it has a secluded feel in an urban setting. As a African American student, I felt very welcomed and had the opportunity to participate in Travel study courses. That does not mean everyone or even all instructors were welcoming, but if issues arose, administration handled them swiftly and efficiently. Great experience!!! Haverford is a nice college. It's very small and close knit. There's a total of 1200 undergraduate students. There are no graduate students. Being said, this gives the undergraduate students to have research opportunities with professors that they wouldn't have if there were graduate students at the school. The school is located in the suburbs of Philadelphia and the faculty live nearby which is great for the students. Housing isn't guaranteed all four years and not all dorms have air conditioning. If you're looking for a college with a small close knit community, then this is a place that should visit to determine if it's a good fit for you.TheHawksTV

Five stars to this college campus for it's walkability and serene beauty. This review is not of the college itself, although it is widely known to be a top liberal arts college, but of the grounds, which are picture perfect. Haverford boasts a working farm (Haverfarm), lovely wooded nature trail, areas for running, and plenty of open-air paved paths for walking and enjoying the beautiful campus and trees- so many impressive trees! Fact: Haverford has a 1:6 student to tree ratio.KGQ NYC

Picturesque campus where some of my favorite folks have attended school! Speaking as an outsider, this place is immaculately kept up and the “maps reviewer” in me is very satisfied. It’s like going to a really nice park. And it’s so quiet here. Really lovely when not too hot or cold.Noah
