Starting college in the middle of all of the pandemic confusion has been hard but CSCC has gone above and beyond to make the transition easier, which is more than I can say for a much larger state university just a few counties away!(I have a senior there) Thank you Cleveland State! If I had another option I would never go to this university. They preach all of these wonderful things but when it comes down to action, they show none of it. Their system that is supposed to help students get their classes organized and keep them on the right track works, but only if you need absolutely no help. I was a second away from getting a lawyer before I actually recieved any kind of direction or assistance. Come to find that there are other people I know that have similar stories of having been given no help and shrugged off or just tossed an answer that is not helpful at all. Had my father not gone to the Dean my degree would have been stunted. It would have taken another 1-2 years to complete with the advice given to me by a secretary that refused to tell me anyone I could go to for assistance. She rather throw my EXCUSED medical absence (which I have only ever had one, and it was to have my daughter) in my face as a reason to show my incompetence and that my lack of help was MY fault. Had it not been for my parents support I probably would have dropped out due to the neglect and disrespect that I have been give from the people at this university. Not to mention they put someone in charge of a girls sports team who had been previously charged at their university with sexual assault. I have so many more examples from others around me that have had similar issues and have been ignored or bounced around from person to person when asking for academic advice or help.Tessa M

Love YSU. While this college has a lot to offer and is exceptionally friendly to ppl with disabilities I wish the department I am studying at was bigger. We only have 3 professors and unfortunately one of them is so ineffective I had to repeat every one of his classes. I learned more from my tutors in his classes than from the professor himself. Head professor is cool and extremely helpful. Also the equipment we use other than the computers are horribly out of date, built and used since the 60s and 70s. Unfortunately due to life circumstances I have to move out of state. Hopefully the next school will be just as rich as YSU and has a bigger department with up to date technology.Imperfect Xennial

YSU is such a quiet and peaceful place to go to school at. Sometimes I liked to just sit on the grass under a tree and listen to the birds and the wind as life just passed me by. The buildings are a complex maze of twists and turns that will leave your head feeling like you just entered the twilight zone, and while some students are rather rude the majority of them are extremely kind hearted. I personally feel that the school could use with a better organization system, slightly more thought out staff and faculty, but other than that it is a very amazing place to learn.Reynard Louernia

First off, in the interest of full disclosure, I am a member of the class of ’75, so this is a truly ancient reflection. I transferred from a junior college in Fla. so I could continue my Aerospace major and receive a Bachelor’s degree. It was a wise decision. Classes were sized right, instructors truly dedicated and the people friendly. I have nothing but fond memories and good things to say about my experience. So what has happened in Murfreesboro since then? Well, according to the more recent alums I have talked to and this website, lots. To you who are now attending, my gosh I wish I had it so good. Dig up some old pics taken of the campus in the 70s. Notice any improvements? And the Aerospace Program- night and day difference. In short MTSU is doing a better job of educating its students and providing for their needs. Oh, to be young again. Of course it does seem there are some real issues that need to be addressed. The complaints about inept administration are distressing. Worse was the comment about crime- knife and gun- yikes! And then there is the common complaint running through all colleges (at least the ones my kids went to). Advisors don’t keep the students on track and the necessary courses aren’t available when they are needed. No excuses regarding the course availability, but by the time a student is a junior they should be able to read the college handbook and figure out what they need to graduate. I mean if they can’t … So, MT, as I believe you now like to call yourself, you have taken many steps forward and a few steps back. Keep up the good work.Al Phillips

Love this campus! There are good and bad professors, they have a lot of food choices, they have activities and events on campus all year around, the advisors in the Psychology department are very helpful especially Amy Foster, they also have a gym/rec center, just so much I like on the campus. There is only one thing I dislike is the parking…there is a lot of handicap parking and a lot in parking lots that are far away from classes that I noticed hardly anyone uses, and I feel it’s taking up a lot of space in the parking lots. Also they need to do Something about the parking in the MTSU lot a so that not a lot of water drains to the middle of the lot where people can’t park due to getting their shoes wet or getting stuck and fix the pot holes in that lot too! I attended class at MTSU last semester. Let me start by saying good luck during registration. I spend HOURS wasting my time to get told things were completer that weren't. I was required to pay extra fees because the school told me I could not begin classes unless I paid because of a mistake they made. During the middle of the semester I took a new job. I had to withdrawal from a class. I was told I would receive 25% of my paid tuition as a refund. This did NOT happen. No one is on the same page at this facility! I will be transferring schools due to my experience. I will state that the professors were good! Everything that happened negative had nothing to do with them. If you choose to go to school here, make sure people are not telling you what you want to hear. Make sure you double check everything!Michael Counter

During COVID, I returned to Hinds to simply increase my knowledge. It has not been to the standard that I knew when I attended Hinds 2014-2016. It has plummeted! I was given the wrong books by the bookstore for my Summer 2021 classes and was CHARGED for them although every student was told that classes AND books were FREE (took 2 weeks to then get reimbursed). This 2021-2022 school year has been even worse to where I am actively looking to finished my classes elsewhere. I was charged for books that I am not using yet Hinds will not give me back my money…. YET AGAIN. Even the classes that I am taking this semester, the professor (because it’s one teacher for all 3 classes) isn’t much help in it. The students are basically teaching themselves to zero help from the paid professional in the class. It’s not to the standard that I knew Hinds at. Also, Angela Easterwood (GM of the bookstore) talked to me as if I was some child and not a grown man. Attitude and scornful behavior should NEVER be tolerated, especially from a person that is employed by a committee college at any level.Kenechukwu Okoye

Called the Raymond campus first and then called the Jackson campus because it is closer to where I live to get information on enrollment and the staff had this i don't want to be bothered attitude. A lot of over-talking and not letting you finish your statements were going on in the conversation. If you are interested in the school, then I advise going to a school with better assistance. Just think of what would happen if you had a major issue being enrolled there and this was to happen. Some people should hand their jobs over to people who really deserve it and wish to have their position because the people there now are obviously tired. After reading some of the reviews on here about Hinds Community College I still gave them a chance. I simply thought that perhaps these were young students who did not have an interest in learning, but I was wrong. This coming from an adult female, who is currently enrolled at this college, I am having a very difficult time with the teachers. These teachers, some but not all, does not put time into their job. Taking the career path of education one must care for the well being of students and that IS NOT found at this school. I was informed that I'm not eligible to apply to the online MBA program because I don't meet the work experience requirements (I have over 6 years of work experience – just not managerial/professional). The business school is not even accredited by any of the 3 major business school accrediting agencies (ACBSP, AACSB, or IACBE), which is actually rare to find in a university as large as UC. Yes, they are a “member of ACBSP” but they are NOT accredited by this agency. Having any of these business accreditations assures students that its business programs are of high quality and adheres to standards based on latest research and business practices. AACSB is the gold standard that uses research as base on practice and accredits private and public universities like Harvard and many state universities. ACBSP/IACBE usually accredits insituitions that are either have created new business programs and are looking to be AACSB accredited or are lower ranking than AACSB acccredited ones and usually uses a occupational & hands on approach to learning. Without out said accreditation(s) the UC mba program actually ranks lower than many for profit business schools like University of Phoenix, Devry University, & Capella- who are all at least accredited by ACBSP, which should be looked at as the bare minimum for students looking into MBA programs.Josh Esc

From the first day I came in to visit the school until I graduated, everybody on campus was fantastic. Any time I needed help or was struggling, there was always somebody to help point you in the right direction. Everybody I have come into contact with has been extremely helpful. Throughout your program, you will remain in contact with a success coach, for me this was Mr. Hollis. Your success coach will reach out and contact you just to check up on how you're doing and see if there is anything that they can help with. Coming from a 4 year institution, I did not the advantage of a success coach and this adds a level of accountability which helps you to succeed. I just finished one of Concorde’s many medical programs. My admissions advisor was Mr. Todd Hollis, although I believe he works primarily in the business office now, he was a great first impression as to the kind of people Concorde has working for them to help the students succeed. Mr. Hollis answered any and all of the questions I had. He walked me through the step by step application process over the phone as I was completely things on my computer at home. During my time as a Concorde student, Mr. Hollis would always stop and ask me how things we going and always reiterate that he was there to help. Although this is a Nationally Accredited school most Regionally Accredited colleges and university will be able to transfer most of your credits. That is if you are taking a degree program and not a diploma program. After obtaining some super computer skills from Remington College my career path has changed completely. Remington College can give a person the skills necessary to go out and dominate in the workforce over those that simply have a general education background from some American public school. I'll never go back to this unprofessional argumentative hospital. They didn't do anything they was supposed to with my 3 month old. No swab test was given for RSV,COVID or the flu. They had an older doctor attempt to draw blood from my 3 month old wrist for his vein,which he kept fishing in it after I told him if he couldn't find my babies vein to please release the needle. A doctor at his age doesn't need to still be in practice if He's not able to perform doctoral duties. He was every bit of 80 still trying to practice.However the nurse ended up drawing my baby blood like she should have the first time knowing the older doctor was rusty for after so many years.The nurse of course ended up finding my babies vein in his upper arm fatty part. They was so argumentative about what me & my mom was experiencing with my child. I had to literally record my baby for them to actually see what was going on with my baby.They was careless wasn't so professional about anything all they wanted to do was tell me & my mom what we experienced,until later I had to actually almost argue back to get my point across. The front desk receptionist was rude as well. I won't be returning back & I will be contacting Ms.Amy Carter come Monday morning about my service over the weekend. I don't wanna sound like the race card was being pulled but at that moment I felt like it was. This service was the worst service ever! My child left the ER with no prescription Tylenol for babies no sympathy no remorse no advice or anything just sent me &my baby on the way. Visited this location October 8, 2021 My daughter surgery was scheduled at this hospital. Special thanks to the staff and doctors at this hospital. My daughter’s surgery was scheduled at 8a.m. and she didn’t make it to surgery until that evening, but it was still a great experience. The staff kept checking in on us and apologizing throughout the day for the delay and mentioned that there was an urgent case that her surgeon was operating on. Once the surgeon was done operating he came out personally and apologized for the delay. This hospital really caters to the children. I know a few probably had bad experiences here, but sometimes you have to count your blessings. Special thanks to the nurses from the Neurology floor and Kudos to Nurse Sherine from Neurology floor. Most importantly thank you for being a blessing to many children and children hope and miracles.T H

I took my son here because he fainted from heat exhaustion and badly scraped his eye. They literally did nothing but neosporin on his eye. No cleaning or bandage. They did no blood work nor did they check his urine. They did an EKG but never discussed the results and I don’t think anyone looked at it. The put a line in my son’s arm. It really hurt my son and they never put an IV or any fluids although they said he was dehydrated. The nurse brought him a Gatorade and said here drink this. My son woke up today and his eye is in pain and swollen. He is also mumbling. No care or attention at this ER and I honestly feel like it was discrimination! We will never return!!Donna Ratchford

Part 147 Graduate. Amazing Experience. Could not be more satisfied with the training I received at North Central Institute. Going here was something that I wanted do to for the past 6 years, and I am so happy I made the choice to go to NCI. I am absolutely blown away with how much I've learned since walking through the front door on day 1. I'm Truly blessed to be able to get an education here and so glad I made the decision to go to North Central Institute. The Instructors are some of the best in the business. Each one has their own teaching style and has years upon years of experience in the aviation industry. Be it either General Aviation or Military Aviation, they know their stuff. They have no issue staying after hours to make sure you understand the information. If you showed the drive or dedication to learning the knowledge, or skills required, then they will do everything they can to help you process and understand what you're learning. The Faculty and staff really made sure to drive home the fact that I belonged here, that any and all my needs were met as a student. Not once did I get the impression that I was just a dollar sign, at North Central. From Admissions, to Finance, to the Instructors, to the Lab room, It really feels like a family here. The Part 147 program absolutely flies by. 15 months and I didn't realize it; who knew learning could be so much fun?! Fantastic learning environment. I attended for an added rating and only spent a short amount of time at this school but it is a great place to learn. I got lots of hands on experience and instruction. Mr P is a tough, serious but very fair instructor. The facilities are clean and well maintained. The tuition is expensive but you definitely get what you pay for. This school helped me to get my license and I will be moving on to my career thanks to this place. If you're thinking about coming here just do it!.. there's financial aid and they also have lots of experience with military. Attended the 147 program through this school. The biggest thing that I liked was how caring the financial staff was. They gave me plenty of resources to pay for my education. The instructors are very thorough in what we learn. If I needed extra time to understand something, they would stay after and help. The lab where we do allot of hands on is better than some places I visited. Ranging from Reciprocating engines to turbine engines. I want to thank Troy, Kelsey, and Andrew for an amazing experience! Troy was great and patient with me while I was trying to get my ducks in a row. Kelsey gave the class/refresher for me and did a great job, she made the class super cool and understanding and was able to show proper technique as well as tips and tricks! Andrew supervised Kelsey’s class and also did the refresher for the first aid. It was a fun and funny experience, I was nervous at first but they were all super nice and we’re able to calm my nerves. Katie, OJ, and the team provided a very educational and professional AHA ACLS course. As a retired military leader, I have a great appreciation for "train to standard, not to time". Although this phrase was never mentioned during the course, Katie (who appears to be well-experienced in emergency and pre-hospital care) was able to focus on areas we all needed the attention and less time on areas we were able to show proficiency. Clean cut at its best. Given the shenanigans going on at most college campuses today, it was nice to see respect and professionalism on display everywhere. No ragged and torn clothing, no Rand McNally maps running up and down arms (tattoos) no steel dangling from noses, no pants hanging half off butts, one could feel pride in America and hope for the future when touring this vast and beautiful campus. A quick tour showed this to be a non-nonsense, education first, institution. Having been in the military, it did not take me long to figure out that the "fast walkers" were freshmen. They stuck to their designated walkways, off the sidewalks for the most part, walking at a fast clip with a pronounced gait, and making sharp right turns at the corners. We would go back in a heartbeat and you should too when you start to lose faith in America. Different uniforms but it reminded me a lot of Annapolis. God bless the USA.Jack

“The Citadel” is the Pride of the South! We have quite a few family and friends that are graduates of The Citadel. My son will be graduating High School in 2023 so we took time this Summer to visit colleges with our first stop here. Our Admissions Officer, Josh Simons (also alumni) gave an excellent presentation. If you’re not serious or dedicated to higher education and pushing yourself mentally and physically to be your absolute best, this isn’t the school for you! If you’re a leader or want to be and you have honor, understand duty, respect others and authority then you may be a candidate. I have confidence and hope my son will choose to be a cadet. I attended the CCW class they offered. This team is professional AND friendly. I haven't had this much fun on the Range in years! The instructors were helpful and considerate, providing tips to everyone from the inexperienced to several experienced shooters on the course. I, as along with many others (I suspect) had found AMT via Google as one of the only accelerated EMT-B courses in the Twin Cities area. One of the major reasons why this course appealed to me was because I'm pre-med, and that time is limited. The biggest hump to signing up was was the costly up-front for fee for registration for such an online-hybrid EMT-B course, but I now having gone through with it, I'm quite happy that I did. I found that besides the website's testimonials, there was not much information in regards to client experiences, and that is mainly why I'm writing this review. The hybrid course is split up into two distinct parts. The first part is online, and the second is in-person at one of their two facilities (Edina or St. Paul facility, which is of your choice). The online portion of the class tests your patience (in a good way)–having to read, watch a video-lecture (~1 hour each), and be quizzed individually on each of the 39 chapters of its EMT textbook (Emergency Care 13th edition). This isn't by any means taking away from the class because it is what you signed up for (hence, it is an accelerated hybrid course). You just have to know what you're getting yourself into–especially if you're in a time crunch. I would advise that the minimum time spent to finish the online portion of the course is around 39 days (which would be ~1 chapter per-day). I would think that anything less than that, and you wouldn't be digesting the material well enough, which is critical for passing the Final exam of the online portion. But that's my opinion. The in-person ("Skills-week") is the highlight of this course, which is a display of group-focused activities, the usage of refined-teaching methods, and the sharing of valuable real-world experiences by its passionate faculty and staff (all of whom are very experienced in EMS themselves). The in-person section of the course is specifically focused around teaching material that's required for the NREMT psychomotor exams (which is the physical application of your textbook material), and is tested on at the end of Skills-week. Due to the short and expedited nature of in-person portion of the class, you may find yourself needing to repeat these psychomotor skills over-and-over again to brand them into memory, but that is more-or-less expected, and the staff are more than happy to help you with that. Lastly, the "When do I start?" question is important (especially, for us pre-meds). Unfortunately, that one is pretty unclear. This really depends on three factors: (1) How quickly you're able to schedule your NREMT exam following course completion, (2) How long it takes to receive your state licensure after passing the exam, and (3) Whether or not the hiring company will make a hire an while you're still in training. From what I've heard, you can expect 1-3 months until then. P.S. Even though this is stated on their website, I'll restate it here–These courses fill up especially quickly in the summer (several months before hand), and you better schedule them quick if you want that.Anders Nelson

I found that Allied Medical Training was challenging, but VERY helpful in a way that the instructors pushed you to your limit and challenged you to know the material well enough to feel exceptionally comfortable with hands-on medical situation. It's not supposed to be a 'piece of cake' people! That's why I thought Allied Medical did a nice job, because they weren't just handing out certificates to just anyone. They challenged individuals to know the material well enough to feel really comfortable handling a medical situation. People really need to know this stuff if they are receiving a medical grade certificate that citizens are trusting us to know! Thanks Allied Medical Training for a great experience!Dustin Petersen

Allied Medical Training is a top notch EMS training facility. I took the EMT class starting at the end of September 2021 and then went down for my skills week in the twin cities over the first weekend of December. In January I took my National Registry test and passed on the first attempt. This is an excellent choice for EMS training since the flexibility of taking the course classroom portion online at your own time and pace and then go down for 7 days to complete the skills. The course instructors are knowledgeable and have experience in the EMS field is various capacities. Strongly would recommend to anyone interested in looking for a flexible course to get into EMS!Andrew Browne

Abosultely astanoished with the way they handled my education here. First they tell me the board accepts an out of state course I took. Everyone failed to say that course would not be transferable or would be accepted for the nursing program after I specifically stated that was the point of my studies to apply to the nursing program.A year later here I am applying and being told nope it doesnt work I had to have met with a "nursing counselor" and no one told me this a year before. Nobody and I mean nobody has taken responsibility for this fail and I paid out of pocket for this course. I now have to pay again for the correct course that will be accepted. This is unacceptable to do to students and I hope this never happens again. This school is very money hungry I have never had to take out loans just to pay for classes apart from recieving full benefits from FASFA, never recieved a transfer email to help me apply to universities after I graduated. Graduations were cancelled but yet they still continued to have peagents and school activties where there were groups of students there. The Hinds Community College Utica Campus is a hidden gem. It is secluded, confined, and almost it own little town. The Campus itself is older than most, but the age only makes it more unique. It is very well kept and clean. There's a walking trail leading to the Dorms from the Main Campus. And the entire Campus is very Pedestrian friendly. Currently they are working to update and upgrade the Campus. When it is finished, I believe it will be our nicest Campus. Also, the Campus has a Museum due to its historical significance as a HBCU.Britt Thomas

Jury's out. No doubt there are some fine staff and professors on this campus. Fine students, too. When the doors are open, which is a bit too limited for my taste, this is a great facility with terrific infrastructure for the students. Ample parking, and stickers are reasonable. In balance, I think this is a wonderful education option for Clarksville and Tennesseans, and one that's perhaps too often overlooked. I would like to see it grow. I echo other reviewers regards the inefficiency and inefficacy of the administrative process. It's slow and cumbersome, making the student feel like a ("A!") number. This is most definitely frustrating, but not entirely the fault of this satellite campus. The "systems" and "language" take some getting used to, for sure. Mostly these are serious, supportive, and hardworking people who are doing triple-duty compared to the bureaucracy in the comparative Ivory Tower of White Bridge Road. Beyond extended hours, this campus needs (and demands!, to borrow from Micro) a food/coffee vendor. Note that this is a tobacco-free campus. I am a senior here at Nashville State Community College Clarksville Campus. It has been a wonderful experience attending this college. I am very fond of the Faculty staff from the head Director to the extraordinary staff members. They all are very unique and special to me. They go above and beyond in assisting students and providing them the tools and resources to utilize while attending school. The professors I have had are all very important as well. They each have been very detailed in demonstrating and instructing students on the materials for class. They all make themselves available and easy to talk to when needing assistance with any particular subject. Overall, I would definitely recommend Nashville State Clarksville Campus to any one who is looking to further their career and become something more in life.serita steele

As a part-time, non-traditional student at Nashville State Community College, I have had several great experiences while pursuing my Associate's in Business Management. I am enrolled in both online and face-to-face classes and would recommend both. The instructors are experts in their fields and eager to assist in my learning success. I also work for NSCC and think of my co-workers as family. These awesome folks do more than expected on a daily basis and serve our community both on and off campus. This school is horrible, if you go into ksu even the slightest bit clueless about what classes to take, don’t expect help. Their advisors are obviously just their for the money. They guide you in the wrong direction, making you take classes you don’t need or not take classes that you actually need. Their orientation is horrible, you are there all day just for you to leave without any knowledge of the school. When I was expected a tour the college students (ones giving tour), brought us to the green to “sit down under the trees to relax because it was hot”. We were stuck in a room for hours till 4 o’clock hit, it was horrible. I ended up being completely lost my first day because of the lack of information shared. This school only wants your money, I had a teacher last semester purposely fail me because he assumed I had cheated on an assignment when I didn’t. I got yelled at in front of the whole class and when I resorted to contacting higher authority because a teacher just threw away my whole semesters worth and money away over an assumption (which when I asked what made him assume, he refused to give me an answer) no one answered my emails. Tried contacting the teacher also and I was blocked from contacting him. Just shows how this school is when it comes to handling serious problems.Kimberly S

DO NOT COME TO THIS SCHOOL!! Kennesaw State has way too many students than they can handle. They have way more students than they have classes and the classes fill up extremely fast. You will probably NOT graduate on time. It will probably take you 5/6 years just to graduate since they barely have open classes. They need to either hire more Professor's so we can have more open classes or change their GPA requirement because it seems like everyone who applies gets in!! Good luck trying to find somewhere to park because the parking is horrible. The administrators are horrible and rude and never know what they are talking about. If you call the registrars office for help, you will often be given many different answers. The financial aid office is extremely flawed and have made countless mistakes with my financial aid. The school is huge so Professors could care less about helping you succeed. Don't even think twice about getting into their nursing program if you don't have a 4.0. Please save your pennies and look into other schools before choosing KSU. If you decide to come here…you will learn that everything I said in this review was true.Riah

While the Marietta campus was under the leadership of Dr. Lisa Rossbacher, the former Southern Polytechnic State University campus flourished. It was one of the best schools in the state you could enroll. Students were challenged to think critically, to demonstrate practical knowledge, and theoretical knowledge. After graduation many of the students were immediately able to find employment. Under the failed leadership of the Board of Regents they forced a merger with Kennesaw which did not have these excellent standards. Kennesaw is more about enrollment and numbers then focusing on student achievement and academic excellence. This led to the change of the curriculum of the computer science program in which I was a graduate student. I left the graduate program because I could not see the value anymore after the merger. The curriculum seemed to be a complete repeat of the undergraduate degree I had completed at Southern Polytechnic State University. I decided to seek employment rather than continue repeating my undergrad.brandon c

Columbia State is one of the worst ran colleges ever. There attention to students needs is nonexistent. I have had MANY issues with my information, financial aid, transcripts, and class schedules while here. There was never a semester that something didn't go wrong. When asking for help from the student resource departments I had to basically harass the departments to make sure my issues were addressed. If I was not constantly checking on my inquiries my problems were pushed aside or not addressed. every issue I had could only be resolved by meeting in person with a department leader. Many of the workers were un interested with issues that they couldn't immediately solve or I couldn't solve on my own. I had issues with them even after years of being graduated. for instance when I applied for law school, I requested transcripts for application and they only college that didn't send them in time were CSCC. I had to call several times just to get them sent. Im just glad that I am a diligent person who was on top of tasks otherwise I may not have been able to achieve what I have if I had relied on the CSCC system. This is no reflection on their academic aspects. CSCC was academically helpful. Professors were kind and well educated. I have no complaints on that part of staffing. My bad experiences came from student resource assistance.Lauren Thomas

Literally the worst ran college ever. No one can do their job. Financial aid just messes around with your scholarships and finances and then won’t tell you when things have gone wrong or changed. I put in for an additional loan amount and they just revised my first loan amount to be the total of what I asked for in additional funds before getting confirmation from me. Absolutely terribly ran. Several professors can’t get their stuff together and show up late or are completely disorganized and don’t know what’s going on. Not to mention tenured professors that don’t give a single care about their students and just want a paycheck. If they weren’t tenure they would be fired. I don’t know how this college still gets accredited for things.. ridiculous. The website is also confusing and unnecessarily complicated. What a joke of a college.Winter V Hansen

I had a wonderful experience during my time at Columbia State. As a nontraditional student who never thought he'd go back to school, it was a very comfortable transition back into the realm of academics. Special shout out to Dr. Gidcomb, a professor of history at Columbia State, who like many professors at CS is not only passionate about his subject, but sets students up for success in every way he can. He also made sure that all of his students knew there were options available for covid relief funds. As many have said, I agree that the wheel of admissions and the financial office could us a bit of grease, but ultimately found these employees eager to help. I'm very thankful that Columbia State helped me complete a degree that had been hanging over my head for many years.Dustin Paris
