i came in for one reason to get job after graduation been going on two yrs feels like high school classes. Im a criminal Justice major and i like program except one huge thing it needs more hands traning so you prepared for the job once you graduate and not have move on for four degree and they need to have dorminties to live on i hardly see people on campus it almost empety they have two many campuses they need to have one and the paint falling off the school. The advisors are literally the worst I have seen. They are basically unaware of how to advise, impossible to reach, don't follow through, and give no recommendations on pre requisite classes. Now the health science department is even worse. The instructors pride themselves on a high failure percentage. They deviate from school policy and ALL Bio 210 and 211 professors are arrogant and unwilling to support your child. Stay away from the arrogant professors, AND they don't care about your future.AB Gentry

this technical college is the best technical college in south carolina, there was a problem with the workers at the edgefield campus, they lost my transcripts, and they tried to cancel my advisement appointment so they could meet their boyfriend in the parking lot, the students at the edgefield campus were rude, and trashy, they are not going to stop me from going there, the classes that you have to take are wonderful, the instructional methods are excellentJessica Taylor

The school maybe nice, I never had the opportunity to explore, however; their paramedic program is a joke. The staff runs each class on different criteria, for instance my instructor (Wesley Carter) stated we don't do pulse checks in CPR after the first check indicating an arrest. However; as a BLS CPR instructor that is false and the AHA teaches pulse check. However; he was my instructor so in order to test out I did as he wanted and when a different instructor tested me they failed me for using the broslow tape and for not checking pulses, said I should have done it by weight based and the broslow tape is a guideline. Since then I have spoken to several national certified paramedics, nurses, and physicians that state this school is a joke and shouldn't be teaching students period and that the broslow tape is there for a reason to assist in dosing a pediatric patient when weight is not obtained. The instructors can't get on the same page and give out different requirements and if you do what one says it's wrong to every other instructor. Also they give you test out scenarios at the end every instructor does 2 which is you standard, set by North Carolina and my instructor is the only one that does 3 scenarios. No uniformity and poor quality instructors. Horrible experience that I will never get my time, my money, and my family gatherings, birth of my child, and events because these people are not on the same page.Kevin Meiser

Get me outt. If I could drop out i would. This college is awful I learn more from quizlet then I have with any teachers. The teachers here are all lazy and only care about their paycheck. I asked for help and never got a response from one teacher and I still haven't :P. What I would give to be able to drop out from this college. 2 stars for providing a college beyond high school in Kinston. One star for pay compared to other community colleges that pay adjunct instructors $35+ per hour. How has LCC contributed to Lenoir County in skills and talent? On Pitt college's website it states that its students have contributed over $114 million dollars to the local community. I walked around the college grounds and it is boring, no energy or excitement. Lastly, LCC should market more to Black students and the Black community because although Kinston is almost 70% Black; it's not reflected in its student body. Great local university offering a solid education, but lacking administration. For its size, USC Upstate offers an impressive number of courses, specializing in education and nursing. The vast majority of professors employed at Upstate are talented individuals and gifted teachers, very skilled at imparting knowledge on students. The actual grounds and structures of Upstate are well kept up, and consistently being updated, improved, and added on. As an alumnus, I am thoroughly happy with the education that I received at Upstate. My only complaint about Upstate is the administrative department. Admissions, financial aid, and any other non-education portion of the school seems disconnected and completely unaware. I frequently had to call or stop by to address what seemed to be extremely minor issues, only to spend hours running around to find a fix. My wife applied, never received an acceptance letter, but she later received a confirmation of financial aid. Never assume they've handled an issue that you have any concerns about. USC Upstate is a great school, one that I will continually offer my support for. However, they could definitely improve the admissions department, and all other administrative facets of the school. Stay on top of any issues before they become urgent and you should do just fine here.Jake Hennett

The second semester resulted in a slightly better experience regarding the online education format. We plan to enroll in more in person classes next semester. Several professors last semester did not seem proficient with the virtual/online format or appear to care that students weren't getting the same or comparable education to in person classes. However, the fees each semester are significant and sometimes defy logic. This college is a joke, I hate that I even transferred here. I should of looked at these reviews before I even thought about attending. I'm going to try my best to get out this university. The staff here always gives you the run around, seems very uneducated and not much helpful to make your transfer goes as smooth as possible. I hate this school already and I haven't even started yet till next week. Plus if you are a veteran you basically have to do everything yourself, they don't know their job and you have to figure out everything on your own. Something is always missing. They are clueless. I can't tell you how many times I had to take trips up there because my phone calls were never returned and I'm not even a current student yet, or they tell you your good to start school in the upcoming semester then something else pops up you need in order to start. I have to be honest about this. Good college when it comes to campus design, some Professor's teaching skills, and assistance for school related issues. Although, the school teaches bad ethics. For example, sports lack discipline. They will teach there athletes to run score boards up. Up by 20 in a basketball game with 3mins to go, they will shoot more three point shots than Steve Kerr. The most alarming thing is faculty will participate in Hazing students. I've watch this with my own two eyes. Call them out on it, and they will just deny it, at least my professor did. I am currently a student there, who help form a club, in order to help students get there basic needs to become a successful student. So just remember, good campus design, some Professors have good teaching styles, good for resources, but terrible place to learn good ethics. To me learning good ethics and applying them is one of the most important, or the most important thing to learn as a student. Would not be the first school I would want to send my child to. My alma mater which will always be in my heart till it stop beating (that might sound too dramatic) but hey that’s the truth! I learned a lot, got tons of experiences, got so many American and International friends, exchanged culture and collected precious moments in this place. I really miss the college, my friends, the clubs, the library, single stop, the cafeteria and most importantly I miss my coordinator when I was in a scholarship Program and of course I really miss the professors. I do recommend this college as an affordable and easy starting point but be ready to encounter many hurdles in your way and a lot of incompetent staff. Make sure to double check everything you do here, especially the financial aid part. The professors are nice but it’s on you to actually learn the material, the professors rarely will make sure you learned anything. It’s a 3 star college. If I could give 0 stars I would because this school is not even worth one half of a star. From the first day I even considered attending this school to the last day I will attend I have told myself this was a HUGE mistake. I am an out of state student, on my first day of class no one told me where to go I didn’t even know who my instructor was. I was in the financial aid office in tears because I was so lost and no one cared at all. I was never given a tour of the campus and no one replied to my emails when I would ask questions in regards to the issues I was experiencing. On the student orientation day I was told I would receive a packet of information about the school along with a few other items they were giving out to the new students. I walked into the room it was being held in and not one person said anything to me. I sat through a 1-2 hour presentation having no clue what was going on. And this isn’t even the worst part. When I spoke with my financial aid advisor about getting loans for my classes, initially I was told I would be spending around 350 per class. Then when it came time for my refund to come back I was told that I owed over 1000 dollars in fees. Obviously being confused as to where that came from I called asking what was going on. I spoke with one of the only men in the financial aid department and he was the most rude person I have ever dealt with. I told him how frustrated I was and how confused I was about the situation and why I was being charged for that amount when I pulled out a 1500 dollar loan, and was told that amount would be plenty to cover my 2 classes. When I told him I was going to transfer to a school that actually cares about their students and not their money his response was (with a snotty chuckle) “that’s perfectly fine” he also suggested that if I want to save money then I should “get married faster to help cover the costs of your classes”. After swallowing my pride, paying the balance and continuing to take classes the same thing happened yet again except this time, I have been dropped from two classes for “not paying the balance in full” even though I have a payment plan set up and have paid my dues each month. I have been told that I am not allowed to transfer and that they will not give me my transcripts to do so. I have been told by the head person of the financial aid department that they don’t believe they are doing anything wrong because “we are just trying to get the money from you that you owe us” when describing to her how frustrated I was and how terribly I had been treated all she said was “I am only going to address the issue in regards to you owing us money” this school has a lot of work to do and I would never recommend anyone ever attend here because they truly only care about leaching off of the students and sucking them dry. I graduated from high school in 2012. The statics were stacked against me; African American girl, from a single parent home, childless, no criminal record and first to attend college in my immediate family. I'm a "mama's girl", so I wasn't ready to leave home. First, I enrolled at another local college. The institutions polices & procedures were extensive. This caused me to withdraw from the school in question. Central Carolina Technical College was the next school on my list. My transition into Tech was easy. The staff and faculty were welcoming, patience and encouraging. The course work assignment were realistic and allowed multiple chances to answer the questions correctly. Central Carolina likes to hire in house. I've been blessed to work 3 positions while enrolled in classes. After graduation I worked 2 more jobs as a customer service representative and a tutor at the college. My visit to Central gave me freedom to grow as a person. Life is what you make it. Get involved. Called financial aid between the summer and fall courses multiple times a week to get an update on my Financial Aid (dead-end job at the time) and they never answered. I put in for financial aid Mid-Summer semester and would call multiple times a week leading up to the beginning of the fall semester with my name, Student ID, and number to call back… They never responded. I was unable to get any of the books and by the time I was able to get them it was halfway through the semester? Guess what comes in? The financial aid I applied for 4 months ago and never got a call for an update that I requested easily 10 total times. I had to withdraw from all of my courses to prevent shattering any hopes of a GPA. Then they try to bill me for the money that FAFSA took back? They couldn't update me on when my money was coming in but they don't mind sending a letter, huh? This place is an absolute joke. I really like the flexibility of the online courses, the affordability and the variety of degree options they have. My advisors and teachers have been very great but communicating with the other staff at this school is very frustrating. The employees in the financial aid department are very rude and condescending and they hang up on you abruptly whenever they get frustrated with you. The registar’s office is by far the WORST. Very nasty employees in that department who talk down to you and treat you like a child. They seem to forget they work for a college, not an elementary school. One spent 10 minutes arguing on the phone with me just because I wanted my new advisor’s phone number and email. The “career counselors” offer no type of help or advice and they just tell you to “google it” whenever you have a basic question about a certain major. They are also very judgmental if you express a desire to finish with only an associates degree and not transfer to a 4 year, not considering not everyone has the financial means to do so. The call center employees are very disrespectful and seem like they want to find reasons to argue with callers. There are also huge issues with miscommunication at this school and everyone seems to have different answers about certain topics which causes a lot of errors. Certain departments are also not great about contacting back even after leaving numerous voicemails/emails. Overall I like the school itself but they need to either retrain the employees on basic respect and customer service or they need to hire new ones.Resident Anon

The teachers here are all outstanding and they make you feel like they want you to succeed. I have taken College Algebra, Biology and Spanish in the classroom and the instructors were all topnotch. There is also additional help available to students in the free math lab and writing centers as well as Spanish tutoring. The online classes are not that confusing but you do need to pay attention because sometimes you are required to take classes through third-party online textbooks via the access codes. The only problems I had were with transferring credits to the school and getting contradictory information from the financial aid office on one occasion. I do wish the school did a better job with advising students but I understand the logistics issues. Everyone at the hub is friendly and helpful! Use them they are a great resource. I was informed that I'm not eligible to apply to the online MBA program because I don't meet the work experience requirements (I have over 6 years of work experience – just not managerial/professional). The business school is not even accredited by any of the 3 major business school accrediting agencies (ACBSP, AACSB, or IACBE), which is actually rare to find in a university as large as UC. Yes, they are a “member of ACBSP” but they are NOT accredited by this agency. Having any of these business accreditations assures students that its business programs are of high quality and adheres to standards based on latest research and business practices. AACSB is the gold standard that uses research as base on practice and accredits private and public universities like Harvard and many state universities. ACBSP/IACBE usually accredits insituitions that are either have created new business programs and are looking to be AACSB accredited or are lower ranking than AACSB acccredited ones and usually uses a occupational & hands on approach to learning. Without out said accreditation(s) the UC mba program actually ranks lower than many for profit business schools like University of Phoenix, Devry University, & Capella- who are all at least accredited by ACBSP, which should be looked at as the bare minimum for students looking into MBA programs.Josh Esc

Aiken Tech is the best school I have ever went to. Compared to Peru State(NE), & Suffolk Community College(NY).. The professors are great, very helpful. THEY want YOU to learn the material and pass. They are not there to TRY and flunk you. The president is very friendly and kind as well as the staff members. They really want to help you achieve your goals. The library is great, very nice atmosphere, and very resourceful. The school has an academic success center where they provide FREE tutoring!! How awesome is that! I also love how new the school looks compared to other schools. Brand new computers in the math lab. PS. Great Security, and Officers that patrol the school. They are always around. Worth test center! I went there for CNA skills test. I was doing Bed pan procedure. Even I was doing wrong. I was trying to wipe it down. The lady snatched the paper towels out of me. That was rude. And another guy was doing blood pressure procedure. Machine was broken. But they didn't help him. So They failed him. That is so rude and unprofessional. We are paying money for the test! My siblings and I have attended this school. I'm currently obtaining my Pharmacy Technician degree. There were some times where my siblings had to retake classes because the school wouldn't accept them even though it was what the requirement really said. I have had a few bad instructors but most of the time I've had great teachers. I guess it really depends on the student. I went to midlands tech for many years. I struggled through the nursing program (and associates in arts and associated in science programs) for years as a single mother of a child with disabilities who was also exiting a decade long abusive relationship. I walked on a broken foot for four months through Clinicals in order to make it, had a foot surgery, totaled cars, and 20+ hours a week of therapies for my son with disabilities. And still I made it to my LPN semester only to end up in the hospital the last week before finals. I was told that I could not have a medical drop as I had received one for my foot surgery and was forced to take test 3,4, and the final in the week following my visit to the hospital. My grade dropped from a 90 to a 79.4 and I was told that I’d have to repeat everything all over again. The ombudsman and the VP went to Mrs. Bannister and begged her to allow an exception based off of the healthcare related nature of my situation and she refused. This place ruined my life and left me with no way to support my child and no nursing career after I already had a job waiting for me on the surgical trauma floor at Richland. After everything I lived through and survived. I am still traumatized. This place will ruin your life. DO NOT ATTEND THIS COLLEGE! Edit: In addition to my previous post this school is taking it a step further and denying me the right to participate in graduation after everything I have been through due to me being locked out of my MTC email (PS who only sends email info on a school email? nothing in the mail?) and was unable to receive the notification in time and they are now refusing my participation in graduation. I am in the Computer Technology program and am supposed to be completing my last semester, however we are at midterm and I am now finding out I have 1 more class to take . This is particularly infuriating because not only did my advisor tell me how many courses i needed to take to graduate, but Financial aid department told me that the aid for the semester was awarded based on how many credit hours i needed to graduate (I am taking the classes that I was told and showed I needed). Overall, in my 2 years as a student, my opinion has always been that's it is very much a subpar school-regarding the staff as well as education quality. My first semester (my education foundation) I had 2 that didn’t care and literally booted you out of the classroom before class was over as they had other things to do. The computer advisors are extremely ill prepared to help anyone. They continuously have no idea what each class will teach you, do not know which classes you should take for any career path, and are usually new personnel each semester. I, like many other students here, have a family outside of school and do not have the means to be a student and unemployed for another semester. Also, they don't have ANY tutors for the computer department! This makes things VERY difficult. The teachers do what they can in their office hours, and I can name 3 or 4 that are worth calling a teacher/professor and actually care about the subject and students. They claim to help you find a job after, and boast they have company’s asking them for their graduates… however this is not easily accessed, nor are there plentiful opportunities once graduated. The level of education and subjects taught seem not to be in line at all with what is desired by companies.srnclb

I have never had such difficulty with anything in my life or dealt with such rude, spiteful, or plan MEAN faculty members. I have been told countless times to quit my job and focus only on school, please tell me how being the sole provider for my family that would work? Clean cut at its best. Given the shenanigans going on at most college campuses today, it was nice to see respect and professionalism on display everywhere. No ragged and torn clothing, no Rand McNally maps running up and down arms (tattoos) no steel dangling from noses, no pants hanging half off butts, one could feel pride in America and hope for the future when touring this vast and beautiful campus. A quick tour showed this to be a non-nonsense, education first, institution. Having been in the military, it did not take me long to figure out that the "fast walkers" were freshmen. They stuck to their designated walkways, off the sidewalks for the most part, walking at a fast clip with a pronounced gait, and making sharp right turns at the corners. We would go back in a heartbeat and you should too when you start to lose faith in America. Different uniforms but it reminded me a lot of Annapolis. God bless the USA.Jack

“The Citadel” is the Pride of the South! We have quite a few family and friends that are graduates of The Citadel. My son will be graduating High School in 2023 so we took time this Summer to visit colleges with our first stop here. Our Admissions Officer, Josh Simons (also alumni) gave an excellent presentation. If you’re not serious or dedicated to higher education and pushing yourself mentally and physically to be your absolute best, this isn’t the school for you! If you’re a leader or want to be and you have honor, understand duty, respect others and authority then you may be a candidate. I have confidence and hope my son will choose to be a cadet. He’s an athlete which will only add to a positive four year experience for him.Simone

I am about to graduate from here and this was extremely difficult. You have to be mentally tough to get through this. I’m not sure why this university is not more widely recognized across the United States. I am from the North East and some people have not heard of it. I went to this Community College back in the Mid-2000s. When I first started, I scored very low on the English/Math/Comprehension Reading so I had to start with the prerequisite course before I could entered the college level courses. After a year and a half, I struggled with the academic (English/Math/Comprehension Reading) and all the teachers I had at that time would just advise me to go to the computer lab/learning room for help and never did help me improve on a one-on-one basic. I felt like I was never appreciated in those classes. At that current time, D2L was starting in place so portion of the classes' discussion/homework were online. I still remember other students never helping me and always correcting or making fun of my errors in writing. There was a teacher's conference one-on-one meeting with every student and I still remembered it until this day. The last words from that teacher was, " With how you are doing in this class, you will not make it and I would have to fail you." I dropped out of Century College soon after and owed a couple thousand dollars in debt. Long story short: Then I decided to transferred to InverHills Community College (IHCC) and that was where the difference came in. The feeling and care for the students were so different. Teachers' there at InverHills Community College were able to help and assist me to improve my academic issues that I had. I still remember a teacher staying 30 minutes-45 minutes later after class just to help me everytime. I graduated at IHCC with my associate's degree then proceed onwards to finishing my Double Major Bachelor's Degree at MetroState University.John Bradley

Apathetic faculty providing misinformation at an obvious cash grab. The counselors are useless and ended up providing me with false information that delayed my education while also costing me thousands of dollars. They absolutely refused to take any responsibility and side-stepped my inquiries every single time. While I did have some excellent instructors, it was always a toss up what type of instructor I would get. Four times out of five I ended up with an instructor who either didn't care about the class they were teaching or just plain didn't have the aptitude to teach the class. Most times I ended up teaching my courses to myself. There really seems to be no standard of education that the faculty strives for. I would not recommend anyone to attend this college. Before I get a response from anyone at Century I'll make it known that I have no interest in filling out any sort of suggestion card or survey. Enroll here. I'm highly satisfied with my experience at Century College as a student. The post-secondary education community here has gone beyond my expectations to support my continued education as a transfer student. I'm thankful for the experienced instructors, who have given me a wealth of knowledge here. The support staff are excellent, including TLC, Writing Center, Math Center, Advising, Counseling, Information Technologists, and Librarians. They connect students with excellent resources outside of the classroom. The resources available here are comparable to any private institution, and cost per credit is the most affordable on the market.Louise Brask

Patient Care takes back seat to employee schedule Within a week I experienced unavailable care due to employee work schedule. Let’s call 4:00 to 5:00 pm the Non responsive hour at MUSC radiology department and response team. On Tuesday 9/13/22 I was having blood drawn at the Rutledge tower for my annual physical. I apparently fasted too long ( about 16 hours) and I passed out while the blood was drawn. I recovered with the help of 3 phlebotomists with ice packs and forced air. I heArd them call the MUSC response team to come check on me. A few minutes later one of the tech says the response team is not coming because it is 4:30 . They went home. I had no medical personnel check me over before I left which made me anxious about my condition but I had no alternative according to the phlebotomists. They did an admirable job looking after me and should be recognized and not reprimanded. The leadership of the hospital should be held accountable for creating a time window of no responsive teams for patients and visitors welfare. Today , 9/15/22 I had an X-ray order from my primary care doctor to X-ray my left knee due to a suspected torn ligament. I called the radiology department to make sure there would be techs to take an X-ray up to 5:00 pm. I was verbally assured that I would be looked after in radiology and have the X-ray taken. I checked in a 4:15 in Radiology in the Rutledge tower and told I will have the X-ray taken at 4:30. A saved screenshot of my confirmation from the receptionist records my check in and 4:30 X-ray. The receptionist who checked me in came to me at 4:20 to tell me all the X-ray techs had left at 4:00 today. I was told to come back tomorrow. Today I had gotten off work to come and get the X-ray. It’s disappointing that a reputable hospital and it’s departments cannot schedule their staff to be available to serve the patients with their reported skills. These problems start at the top and should be addressed by leadership and made to be held accountable. This reminds me that”The customer is not always right, but is always very powerful.” I’ll be happy to help MUSC fix its scheduling problems and help it look after it’s patients.Bob Kerr

The lack of care and compassion shown to a Person, Former MUSC Employee and My Mother is astounding to me. My Mother was placed in Hospice care on a Friday night discharged being a fall hazard and she transported by ems who didn't have a wheelchair on board. We had to borrow our neighbor wheelchair at 11pm to get Mother in the house. Hospice didn't have time to have any equipment for her which made the weekend so difficult for her. Then the awful doctor Matthew Kolher made the comment while bring students in the room he said "they eat all those fatty foods" meaning black people as her looked at my Mother. I moved her out of his care and the Hollings Cancer Center. She only returned after being told it was easier to treat her since her doctors were at MUSC. I had so many questions when reached the end of life, I called him 3 times and he nor his off returned a call regarding his patient. I know that MUSC doesn't care about most people or the patient care it's Doctor's and staff sells but this is unacceptable and if you are ever faced with needing compassionate health care please research before selecting MUSC. The lack of interest when calling was even worse. I know she was nothing to you and insurance wasn't great but she was my Mother and she she did he best and deserved better care treatment and respect than what was given by MUSC, Dr. Matthew Kolher Oncologist. Horrible hospital!!!! The doctors may know what they're doing but outside of that, this hospital is horrible!!!! My dad was at this hospital after having surgery and no one came around for days to wash him up. He was complaining to me telling me he was uncomfortable because he hadn't been washed since his surgery. Four days of passing, and he hasn't been washed! When I asked the nurse if they could wash him, she had an attitude. It's crazy, we're the ones that should of had the attitude. She tell me when she or someone get a chance, but that chance didn't come until late that next day. I went to an office there at the hospital to file a complaint and they take my complaint but tell me it's nothing they can do. I was crying because there was nothing I could do at that point to help my dad. The lady in the office confirmed that she get a lot of those same complaints, and that I should call the NEWS and report it. When I went back to my dad's room I saw the nurse, and still crying I got into an argument with her, and instead of understanding how I was feeling she called security and asked them to exscort me off the floor. Anyway, I'm from up north and I always thought the people in the south were caring friendly people but I guess I was wrong, well not at this hospital anyway.Alfreda Jones

Went to their Truck Driver Training School in '16. George McMillan was my instructor and he was very helpful in helping me learn to drive a truck. He and the other instructors were very helpful and patient with the students and made sure we were able to do our skills to the best of our abilities. Worst school ever. Dont waist your money. If u aren't sponsored they leave you in the classroom with the recruits while the ones that are sponsored are outside practicing driving. I was a student there back in 2005 for someone who never drove a truck it took me the entire month to become a truck driver. Staff were great class size was only 8 students. Facility has everything needed to train. Great small town great people from staff to locals.Giovanni Cardone

Excellent experience every time! This is my second time re-certifying with Code One and it's always a very smooth experience. The online portion is great, and most of all the instructors are very knowledgeable. I had Dr. Santina as my skills instructor this time around for both BLS and ACLS. She was very articulate, encouraging, and knowledgeable about everything she was teaching me, and even taught me something I didn't know about the cons of using atropine for bradycardia! My main instructor was Brian who had interesting, but also very informative classes, and would make sure that everyone knew what we were learning. The setup is very convenient and it’s done well especially with COVID precautions. The process of certification was very straight forward with the practice dummies and the virtual call. I took the BEACON PALS course with Code One and can't say enough good things about it (my first time taking PALS). The didactic portion (at home) was self-paced and utilized AI to tailor the learning to the student's needs. At the skills training, the same AI was utilized along with the skills instructor, who was present via video conference. Jonathan Hildreth, who was my skills facilitator, made the skills check-off fun and informative. When I left the skills area, I felt confident that I could handle anything a PALS situation could throw at me. I highly recommend Code One.Michele Fancher

Mr. Karger was an excellent instructor for our BLS renewal class. He was thorough, concise and direct to the points we needed to focus on. Our on hands demonstration, it was very well handled and organized. We worked one on one to refresh our skills but worked also as a group to simulate what an actual code would be like. My mom is 90 years old and suffers from crippling arthritis. She recently was diagnosed with an infection in her right knee and can not use it at all. We hired On Time to take her to a doctor''s appointment because they were equipped with what we needed to get her down 12 flights of stairs. My mother was very anxious until Mark and Marek showed up. They were absolutely wonderful ! They did such a great job and were so kind to her. They stayed with us the whole time. The ambulance was like new as well as the equipment which made for an easy ride. I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND them and we would definitely use them again. I was transported by On Time in August, 2017 and the service were phenomenal! I was transported from Burlington County, NJ to Philadelphia, PA. Never have I felt more comfortable with my life in the hands of the Transport Team. It was a Nurse and an EMT. They were very polite, knowledgeable and compassionate. Over the last month, I used your services 2 times. Both occasions the driver, Theria, was on time, friendly and had a way of making me feel less anxious with the surgery that I was about to have. A solid place for education. The vast majority of teaching and administrative staff are friendly and want to see their students succeed. Some rooms are fairly antiquated, while others are in the brand-new 3-story structure in the center of campus; all are clean and as comfortable as traditional classrooms get. Directly across the street from the Fairhope Public Library, and also has two virtual-machine computer labs. A substantial theater and new outdoor amphitheater are here as well. While the environment is great for learning, it seems good only at achieving that goal. A general lack of community, both internally and beyond the classroom, may drive social butterflies away, or create an almost hostile environment for introverted or unmotivated students. This info is mostly relevant for students who plan to attend mostly or only Fairhope classes.James Drummond

They try to accommodate your schedules and healthcare professionals and tailors content for the learner. Even during Covid, the individualized skills check off is simple and not overwhelming. I attended Trident Behavioral Health twice through my Air Force provider. After leaving the program the VA required additional information about my records and mental health care for my military separation. In order to update my records with my most recent medical information I needed a letter from the doctor about what I was treated for and the symptoms that I display. I emailed Sean Turner three times with no response. After calling the office and speaking to the nurse he returned my call and sent a letter from the doctor. When I sent the letter to my case worker they were confused by a sentence that was written in my letter. She asked that I have a sentence added to clarify the sentence written. The information that is being requested is time sensitive. I emailed Sean an additional three times over the course of a week and again, no response. I called and spoke to a lady who name starts with an S who is sitting in temporarily. She was rude and tried to give her medical interpretation instead of asking the doctor to clarify the statement. Sean then called me back and updated the letter with an additional line that stated I am stable to return to duty. To reiterate what I stated I have already been found unfit, I am being released from the military, and I have not “returned to work.”This sentence is contradictory of the medical diagnosis and records provided from this hospital and my military medical records. I sent several emails again to Sean and called to have this corrected. They clearly do not understand that words have meanings. The lady at the front desk had an attitude and wanted to argue with me that the doctor was not going to update my letter. Sean emailed me that he was sorry but that’s what the doctor wrote. I asked him if he could explain to her that that statement is untrue. He never responded. I emailed Dr. Hicks, who wrote the letter and she also never responded. This displays a lack of care for patients. At a minimum acknowledge my emails. I never got an explanation or the information I needed for my case. They do the bare minimum. It affects me long term. They harp to the patients to advocate for yourself but won’t assist you in the process.They have the luxury of ignoring emails and being nasty but it’s me, my veteran’s disability, and records that suffer. My ER admit was flawless, however, after being admitted everything went down hill from there. The nursing staff was good, transport was wonderful. I had a series of tests that we are questioning if they were necessary, primarily the CT scan that was performed after my stress test came back negative. From the time I was admitted to the time I was discharged not one doctor saw me. My husband had to fight to get me any food. I was not served anything until an hour before I was discharged. We had to call door dash just to get food the evening I was brought in. I left with the same pain I entered the hospital with. If the doctor feels it’s necessary to give a patient morphine every four hours you’d think a doctor would at least come in and see the patient to figure out a next step. I WALKED out of the hospital, to my car and drove home. The following Monday I reached out to my primary care doctor who got me in immediately. I was referred to. MUSC for follow up procedures which were scheduled the next day and they found the source of the pain. This was an epic fail on the part of the hospital and who ever the doctor on call that was treating me.Tracy Strayhorn

I honestly have had some unfavorable opinions about Trident hospital in the past but something has really changed. My mom is a heart clinic patient and has had to visit the ER a couple of times recently and we have had EXCELLENT care every time. The doctors, the nurses, intake, everyone has been fantastic. They are keeping us informed every step of the way and have been completely on top of her care. They were very gentle, professional, and caring. In November, 2021, after suffering with heavy congestion, sinus pressure, inability to smell and many sleepless nights, I realized I had another sinus infection which I have suffered with, on and off for many years. I was temporarily living in Washington DC. and did not necessarily want to search for another ENT specialist and Charleston ENT, my current ENT doctor would not help without an office visit. So I contacted my primary doctor and he prescribed the typical antibiotic/steroid treatment. This relieved my symptoms, but the infection eventually returned. I again, still living in D.C., consulted him and another round was administered and again within a couple to three weeks the symptoms returned. My primary doctor suggested I consult my ENT doctor as soon as I can upon my return to Charleston. After seeing Taylor Hasbrouck PA-C, she listened carefully and prescribed accordingly, because within three days, I was much better and after a week or two, I could actually smell again! At a four to five week follow-up, a CT scan proved my sinuses were almost normal. Thank you Taylor for being so attentive, thorough and bringing me back to life after suffering for months. Sinus symptoms can really get you down. So, can we video conference in the future, when I am out of town?Bill Jones

My experience with the doctors are always great when I go there. They seem to listen to my problems and try to solve the problem. Its very convenient that there is a pharmacy inside, that way you can get your medication asap. Only giving it 3 stars because every time I go, I get over charged at check out. The first couple of times, I noticed once I checked my insurance statement and my insurance paid for the amount they charged me for and I only was supposed to pay my copay. They don't tell you this at checkout which I find very strange and dishonest. I've seen several reviews saying the same thing. So please check your insurance policy, you shouldn't have to pay $$$.$$ out of pocket. I think this a type of scam for them to get paid twice!TravelIsLove

Highly unpleasant and very unfriendly staff member just called, talked to anyone in my office to give them my results. Just calls, when I got on the phone refuses to let me get a word in started a shouting match. Insists they will not release any information by postal service. I have to waste my time to go there and pick up my path report and wait until they have them ready – if I understood correctly what she said since she kept talking over me – Beware you will receive a bill for my time and for getting a nurse to watch my mom during the time I drive over there. My patient information states expressly NO phone calls! I should have checked out YELP – there you see the true rating of this office.Elisabeth Moser
