20 Best Dental Hygiene Programs In Virginia Beach, VA (2022 Updated)

Where should I begin? The people in the financial aid office are rude! I had trouble going to school continuously because I had problems with money. I was independent at 19 years old but they offered no suggestions on what to do to prove that I was independent. They were condescending, and cut me off while I was talking. It took me 5 years to get a 2 year degree because of this. The sad this is that I was a good student with a 4.0 GPA. What also contributed to taking so long in getting my degree was the advisers! They are such jokes! I was told in spring of 2013 that if I took one more class in the summer and applied for summer graduation I could get my degree. I got my adviser to sign off on it and applied for graduation – but AFTER THE SUMMER – I was told that there was another class I needed to take. Apparently something had changed in the 5 years while I was there and I had to take a class I didn't know about. The bottom line is: this is a community college and it has a bunch of jokes for employees!SAM LOTS

This college DOES NOT follow the ADA (American with Disabilities Act) of 1990. They're instructors did, knowingly, and purposefully deny reasonable accommodation's (approved accommodations) to a person with a known disability and said person had a disability accommodation on file with the Virginia Community College system and individual school. The instructor even mocked the person with said disability during email communications, the student advisor(s) would not assist with the situation. Then as a direct result of this discriminatory & unlawful behavior, the student failed the class and the college wants reimbursed, now in collections. AUGUST 1 2022: Spoke with an alleged dean, said she doesn't interrupt the law like I do when it comes to reasonable accommodations, i.e. turning in work late due to SERVICE CONNECTED CONDITIONS! My brother goes to this school and each time I've gone down to visit the people are pretty friendly. They are very sports oriented and you're part of a community family if you live down here. The majority of the city goes to this college so if you know people at the college, you practically know everyone in the city. Very nice community gym next door as well. Up until this point it has been a few small hurdles that have been resolved fairly quickly and would leave my rating at a 4 star rating. However, this previous semester has been nothing but a nightmare when it comes to the bookstore and financial aid. The bookstore website offers laptop computers. So I attempted to order one using my financial aid. The order was cancelled and I had to visit the bookstore, which turned into having to get some kind of voucher to use my own financial aid for a computer. After some back and forth about not supposed to have been awarded a voucher in the first place, they accommodated the voucher to get me my laptop. After getting all that squared away, I checked back in to make sure my financial aid had covered my books, the laptop, and my classes. To which I was told it did. Or as of today, it was supposed to be any way. I went to schedule my classes and was met with a wonderful message online that my account is on a hold due to bookstore charges that I already have a receipt from in August (Almost 2000 dollars with the laptop). Almost 4 months later and something that was taken care of is now suddenly still a problem. As of right now it's being looked into by a financial aid office worker that has been very helpful through all of this but my review will still stand until this is rectified. Also I will no longer be using the bookstore because the risk of getting anything through financial aid there just isnt worth it. I am a current student, most professors are great. But without fail every semester I have issues with financial aid. They took my pell grant back out of my account the last week of school even though I’m taking enough credits and my classes qualify. I now owe over $700 out of pocket that I don’t have. They took my sub/unsub loans away ( again, I qualified for these) and I had to call 9+times and send multiple emails to get them restored. It’s the last week of the semester and they still haven’t been disbursed to my account. I’m an all A student. I’m pretty sure I spend more time dealing with Financial aid mishaps than I do on schoolwork. Sad. I have also enrolled in a class in a previous semester that was canceled by the school. Highly inconvenient. UPDATE: The Director of Financial Aid was able to look at my account and fix both my Pell Grant and student loans! I just have to wait for the next dispersment period. I guess we’ll see if it happens. Changed score from 1 star to 2 stars. UPDATE: They reissued my pell grant, but the semester had ended and they still have not issued my sub/unsub loans.Megan Ellis

It's a good college at a fair location. Keep in mind that this is a community college and not a four year college. It isn't going to carry the same weight as a true four year college, both with the degrees that it provides and the teaching level administered. The college is clean enough and they are doing some work to being up some of the buildings more to standard. The Midlothian campus is better, but this one presents a prime location being directly off the highway. They have several computer labs and every teacher I've had has been fair and engaged with students to an acceptable degree (academically). The VA expert nice woman who knows her job well. As a veteran she helped me and my roommate out greatly with setting up the GI Bill and she did all our paperwork quickly and efficiently.Steven N

They have changed from when I first graduated high school but the headaches are still there. Advisors sometimes are confused themselves and aren't of much help. Financial aid is best to deal with in person. Campus is closed together and easy to walk around. Professors are some good and some not. Bathrooms are always clean and that's a good thing. There's a lack of information for clubs, programs and such. They have a catalog of jobs and careers but they don't offer half the classes. Classes fill in quickly and sometimes you can't find one of the ones you need for your program. I graduated and not my classes were online since some of the students coming here are either really old or really young and immature.Cya Vsqz

Bright Point sounds like and is some off the wall name and school advertised in on late night commercial What a shame for a school to cave to a social trend…. I wont be donating any time or money. I have gone to this practice since 1980. I highly recommend it. All of my friends use these dentists as well. They are simply outstanding. They also give back to the community. One dentist participated in Operation Smile with his staff and other charities like that. He went to underprivileged countries and did dental work to help children with open cleft deformities. They are so knowledgeable, friendly and professional. For years, they’ve won the newspaper’s Best at the Beach awards which are voted on by subscribers and residents. There’s a reason for that. I absolutely love the Art of Dentistry! I have been coming here since I retired from the Navy in 2009 and my son went here his entire life until he got his own insurance. They are wonderful, friendly, thorough and professional. Oh, and punctual!! I had an appt yesterday and my hygienist apologized for being late (she was 2 min late for our appt!). The dentist Dr King is amazing he gets the five stars but the dental assistant / hygienist was rude I asked to speak to the manager she said ok I will go get Dr King some other lady from the front pop up in the room saying she the manager which was interesting. My appointment was at nine everytime I have an appointment they change it so I took off today to accommodate them since they changed my appt to 12. Now they rescheduled me to August for my cleaning. They did not care bout me taking off or how they switched my appt now makes time number three. If it was not for the amazing Dentist they would loose me. Then the lady start asking me personal questions unrelated to dental issues like according to hippa I’m only obligated to tell you bout my dental issues nothing else. So I have nothing else to say only to address my teeth issues that’s it. On top of that they so called office manager did lot inform me that I would be charged for my visit today for the dr to look at my tooth I was not charged last time so I have the receipt it doesn’t show that my insurance was used today so I will be contacting my insurance company. Thus place is so amazing. I was welcomed by friendly staff. Dr. King was blessed to get me in quickly to take care of my tooth pain. I was referred to dr Hooper by my orthodontist to tackle the esthetic part of my dental work. I was in need of four veneers on my top front teeth. Highly visible, no room for error. I saw dr Hooper several times over the course of a few months in preparation for the procedure. Dr Hooper’s office staff was so helpful and so pleasant to work with. They helped me numerous times, going out of their way to facilitate and coordinate work with my orthodontist. They even switched Dr Hooper’s lunch one time to help me. During appointments I always felt at ease and never did I feel rushed. Especially as I asked more and more questions. Everyone seemed happy and very friendly. That environment certainly had its part in easing my nerves. As for dr Hooper’s work; it is amazing. I was so shocked at my beautiful new smile that it took me a couple of weeks to assimilate it. It’s hard to explain but I did not know it would look this good. The gum line is impeccable. My teeth look natural, and beautiful. He is meticulous and diligent, and demands the best. He has a very good eye and took his time to work things to his satisfaction ( whether that is a 1 mm or .5 mm adjustment). I am extremely grateful for his craftsmanship. I am TERRIFIED to go to the dentist and often hold off on teeth maintenance for years at a time. After 2 years, I had to have a dreaded cavity filled. Dr. Warfield (guessing dr hooper's partner) was incredibly patient, understanding, and GENTLE after sharing my anxiety and my needing to be re-numbed several times due to low pain tolerance. If I could give this place a 100 stars I would. I had a bad experience in the past had a couple of root canals done. I was super nerves coming into the office I really thought about cancelling my appt but since it's been a long time since I had a cleaning and check up I forced my self to go in. I was getting a cavity fill I felt nerves at first but seeing how gentle Dr. Reitano and his assistant where I felt less nerves. They made sure I was numb I felt no pain other then the shots for the numbness it was amazing. I also had to see Mrs. Dianne for my cleaning. She is amazing very sweet really cared and made sure you had no pain. I can tell she loves her job. Lately it's been hard to find friendly people. Mrs Dianne was the best. I am Debra Dollar, Lynsey's mother, providing this review. Lynsey is also a patient. I don't know why I am filed under Lynsey's email, but I probably listed it incorrectly. I am ashamed to admit that I had not been to see a dentist since I last saw Senior Dr. Reitano about ten years ago. He was the one who pulled me back from the ledge years ago when I was terrified of dentists. When I arrived there today I was expecting a few negative comments about why I had neglected my teeth for so long, but everyone was just glad to see me back, and surprisingly my teeth were in pretty good shape for an old girl. Junior Dr. Reitano was just as warm and caring as his father. He listened patiently and answered my questions just like his dad. It was also heartwarming to see so many of the same staff still there, which says a lot about the family and the leadership in the office. Very friendly staff, they got me an urgent appointment the next day and took care of my bonding done on a tooth that was chipped from a stray dog attacking me a few months back. I called on a Monday, let them know I had court on Thursday morning and explained my circumstances and they got me right in. I’ve gone to this practice for a little over a year at this point and every visit is extremely comfortable and informative. I’ve been seen by Michelle and, newly, Courtney. Both are extremely kind, gentle and make great conversation. The entire office is personable and enthusiastic about their profession. Courtney was my most recent dental hygienist. It was my first visit with her and she was super fun to interact with. It was probably the most thorough clean I’ve ever had. “I’m here for you,” she said and showed. She even cleaned my tongue web piercing, pain-free! She kept me informed throughout the entire visit, was comical and played great music. You can tell she and everyone else loves what they do and have created a home in Total Care. Dr. Patti is always amazing and takes great care of the staff and us patients. Goyal Dentistry is absolutely amazing!! The staff is TOP NOTCH, very caring and kind! Dr. Goyal is wonderful!! I came here originally for an emergency tooth situation, in pain for for over a month searching for a dentist to help with my situation and soonest appointment was month or two out. Dr. Martin saved my mouth and my sanity, literally. As a pregnant patient new to the area, Gentle Dental was actually my second stop. Originally, I was seen by Green Meadow Dental and was told I had 7 cavities and needed a heavy duty treatment. I take pretty good care of my teeth and was in disbelief. I also was hesitant to get this much work done before delivery. Frantic about the prognosis, I called Gentle Dental that afternoon. They got me in quickly and now, I will be a patient of theirs for life. Dr. Martin is an all-star, I honestly can't thank him enough. He did an extremely thorough but gentle exam, and his bedside manner was beyond what you would expect. He felt like a family member, trusted and sincerely invested in my well-being. I appreciated how seriously he took pregnancy and caring for his patients. After his exam, he took the time to show me literally every single tooth with a camera and explained why it was healthy. I appreciated this because even though I hoped for better news, I wanted to be sure I wasn't ignoring any issues either! His prognosis was that I had one minor cavity that could wait to be filled until the baby was born and my mouth was in overall a very healthy state. I teared up in the office because I was so appreciative of him. It wasn't just about receiving good news, it was about knowing I could trust in the care I was recieving, which was very juxtaposed from my visit with Green Meadow. Gentle Dental Center Landstown is hands down the best dental office ever!! The receptionist is really nice, always answering any questions I have and very welcoming as you come into the office. The dental hygienist ladies are wonderful and made me feel very comfortable where I have anxieties getting work done. Gentle Dental (Landstown location) has been my dentistry for a few years now. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. This has been instrumental for me since my cancer diagnosis. Simple and easy equals less stress. They are attentive to my needs and have always given me the best care. I have been using Konikoff for YEARS, almost 30 to be exact. So this in no way is in an opinion of Konikoff Dental, this is just the "bad apple" The building is beautiful, the front staff are beautiful, but then.. it all stops there. Or, quite possibly we got stuck with the most insensitive dentist and back staff. Dr. Hoag is by no means fit to encounter a child and by no means what I would call "oral surgery" as we were told. Dr. Hoag had to boast about being in the Army for a whole 8 years and lived in every state. His apparent lack of caring comes from being a military dentist, caring is not in the military handbook. As he boasted, my attitude was so, being my father was a member of the Chief of Naval Operations, and quite sure his 35 years of service, plus my own was a great deal more meaningful. To the staff that were colder than ice in Alaska, 0 caring or compassion. They seemed to find it improper that I would have the nerve to explain to my HFA ADHD child the procedure, what to expect and what she would encounter.. no I was NOT suppose to tell her the possibility of bruising, swelling and normal things that would come with have 2 teeth on different sides of her mouth extracted, no I wasn't supposed to inform her of the sounds, (HFA are sound sensitive), and no I wasn't supposed to be concerned if she would be comfortable having a piece of gum tissue sliced. Nope I wasn't supposed to voice any concerns. The moment I did, they felt it best that I find another dentist.. Ok, because that was EXACTLY what I was planning on doing before you even suggested it. To have a procedure like this done on a child, you'd expect the normal things like the "laughing gas" or some type of sedation to make them comfortable. I was offered a valium.. seriously for a child that I wasn't even suppose to disclose what was going to happen to her? See I have 3 grown kids, youngest is 28… I've been all through dental, surgeries, dental trauma, and then some. To shift for one moment, it was clear, I was in extreme pain myself while in the office. It was clear to everyone. Did anyone other than the front staff make me or offer me to be more comfortable? No. Thank you front staff for your kindness, sadly you're over shadowed by what's behind you.kathy blanchard

From my initial consultation until now (two of three scaling and root planing visits this week) everyone I've been in contact with has been great. They are wonderful about calling with cancellations if you want to come in sooner, which I've done twice already. There has been very little wait time, I've been early so far and still didn't wait long at all. Patty did my procedures and I have one more to go. She explains what she's doing every step of the way and what to expect afterward including care, etc., is professional, friendly, personable and made me feel at ease as she worked. Any dental is not a pleasant experience. It is important to have really good staff. Konikoff have it. From the scheduling of the appointment to the end, staff was great. I was greeted upon coming up. The process of checking in was fast. The wait was not long. The procedure was explained by Dr. Bryan Konikoff and procedure was done with ease. It was not a comfortable procedure. While doing the procedure the hygienist rubbed my arm to put me at ease. I was so tense 😣 The all around experience was comforting. If you are looking for a place that do dental implants or periodontal services, this is the place to go. A caring and comfortable place is important. Highly recommend.D. Smith

I’ve been seeing Dr. Javeed for about 10 years now. The Dr sees both of my children too. This month unfortunately my son (8) got his first cavity from sneaking sports drinks after bedtime. His first cavity and the last time we have any of those sugary drinks in our home. I’ve had a bit of dental work in my life. I don’t personally have any anxiety over dentist offices or dental work but many people do. It’s not hard to imagine getting an anesthetic injection and a filling as a child could be a traumatic experience. Needless to say my young son could not have had a better experience getting his tooth filled. It helped that neither myself nor my family front-loaded him with any anxiety but the credit goes to Dr. Javeed who handled every detail with great care. Dr. Javeed’s clients are of all ages and as a middle aged client I’ve always been completely satisfied. I have to admit I really didn’t know exactly how good she was until she took care of my son when it really mattered. I’d imagine most any dentist could clean a kid’s teeth and let them grab a toy from the treasure box and they’d be happy. It’s much more rare when needles and drills are involved. My son didn’t shed a tear, not a single wince nor a bit of fear. He was actually happy sitting up in her chair after all was said and done. To be clear, she didn’t use laughing gas as is often used on children. She uses nothing more than her calm voice and a magician’s level skill of distraction. Long story short. She’s great with kids. I don’t write a lot of reviews. It requires something monumentally bad or as in this case something monumentally good.Sean Berry

July 1st I had a toothache, I called and they I could be seen in 2hrs. I had explained that I had no insurance and would be self pay but I wanted the tooth pulled. I was advised to come in for the exam & see what they could do. Dr Javeed saw me and advised that if I wanted it pulled I would need to be referred out to an oral surgeon or she could do a root canal. She gave me an Rx for antibiotics & a quote for root canal which was over $1400 for a premolar. I’m in severe pain still & taking lots of extra strength Tylenol just hoping to get through the 4th of July holiday so maybe I can find a dentist to pull it. It feels like a heartbeat in my jaw bone – just throbbing. I gave them 4 stars because they answered the phone & got me in for an exam plus a Rx for antibiotics- just very disappointed that they didn’t pull my tooth & I still have so much pain.Spring Ruiz (Maria)

I loved the cleaning but becoming weary of the dental care. I had an excellent dental team in CT who taught me how to care for my teeth. Upon relocating here and trying smile care every time I come there is a report of a new cavity in 2 weeks time. I also hear as the dentist is talking to others more cavities. Absolutely amazing practice. They were so professional and so kind. From the second I walked in the door the receptionist was the face of the company, happy and very nice, willing to assist. She explained everything I needed and was going to be doing with her before we began. Then she explained next steps. The hygienist Kim who came to get me from the waiting room explained how they did things there and was super sweet. Love her. She was so gentle and very good at communicating what I needed to do snd what was going on with my teeth throughout the cleaning. Then the dentist I saw was so awesome. He came in and shook my hand, asked how I heard of the practice which was just a Google search. He was great about explaining everything he was going to do and was doing as well as his best suggestions. Even the ladies at check out were awesome. Asking if I understood how my insurance worked and offering to explain it to me. They took their time. You could tell everyone that works there really cares and loves what they do. My Mom has had years of satisfying dental services at Beach Dental and nothing but high praise for the staff and especially for Dr. Daniel Barton. After my first visit as a patient, I am in complete agreement. The staff is wonderfully friendly and helpful, and they have this excellent system whereby the first person the patient sees in the chair is a totally knowledgeable dental professional who, besides being a very skilled hygienist, is in contact with the doctor throughout the initial exam, transmitting observed issues. The doctor responds electronically with instructions for further examination and then visits the patient as his schedule permits, which can be prior to completion.of the hygienic process, thus streamlining the entire operation from start to finish! Before becoming a patient at this office, I never had a dental appointment that I really looked forward to going to. When you walk in, the woman at the front desk is always so warm and welcoming, we talk about our families and she is always so kind. My most recent appointment, my babysitter cancelled and I had to bring my 20 month old daughter.. I really thought it was going to be an issue but my dental hygienist, Kim, turned it into a whole learning experience! She was *so* kind and attentive .. and as always, knowledgeable and educational. this specific appointment, Dr. Barton was the only dentist that day, but he still made time for us and didn’t make us feel rushed – he always makes it a point to teach and meet with me. All this to say – I’ve actually kept up with appointments since finding Beach Dental and can’t stress enough how refreshing this office has been.Caroline Sharrow

I have struggled for years with bad decay and cavities in my mouth. Coupled with pretty intense dental anxiety I was left a complete train wreck. The last two appointments with Dr Tiffany have left me crying the whole way back to NC…tears of joy and relief. She has taken my black rotten teeth and worked endlessly to make them beautiful. Her skills are obviously far superior to most dentists and she handles her job like a BOSS! With her assistant Kim they are capable of anything! I have never felt more confident in a dental chair….and boy have I seen a lot! Dr Tiffany takes extra time and steps every single visit with me to make sure I am comfortable and pain free. She works to fix my teeth quickly and efficiently and has my best interests in mind without a doubt. I have never had more respect for a dentist than I do for Dr Tiffany and I would highly recommend her and her team. I am new to the Virginia Beach area and had to schedule a new patient appointment. London Bridge Smiles was fantastic from start to finish! Everyone was very friendly, professional, and helpful. The new patient process was easy online and I just had to walk-in for my appointment. The dental assistant and hygienist were both so friendly and great at their jobs. Never have I had such an easy dental cleaning! The doctor was very informative and provided me a great understanding of what needed to be done. The entire process was so efficient, I was impressed. I can’t rave about this office enough. I made a sudden appointment and was taken care of by the sweetest staff. From the minute I walked in to the minute I walked out everyone in the building was so helpful and kind. I’ve had previous traumatic dental visits elsewhere which made it hard for me to want stay on top of my visits. However, Dr. Laney Vaughans bedside manners were just so comforting. Dr. Fuhrmann has been my dentist since the early-mid 90s. Even when I've gone in with a troublesome issue, I have always had a very positive experience. Let me start with I am not a fan of going to the dentist but I was very pleased with the work I had to have completed. I had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Malki. My first appointment was a consultation and then my second was my procedure for a root canal. I waited a while before doing my review in case I was in pain or something didn’t go right but everything was perfect. I read what to expect and planned accordingly. The dentist made jokes as well as his assistant to calm the atmosphere. I told him what I didn’t like about the dentist and he understood and did his best to walk through the process with me as he completed everything. Most of all I really appreciated that he showed me the X-Rays and told me what to expect at our follow up on 6 months.KK Onibode

The entire staff was delightful to work with. The front desk professionals were more that happy to answer all my questions. The dental assistants were all caring and compassionate, making my 11 y/o feel comfortable going in to have root canals done. I can’t say enough about Dr Malki, he was friendly, caring and I was most impressed how he spoke to my 11y/o, explaining everything he was going to do rather than speaking over her to speak to me. Landstown Dental was outstanding from check in to check out. The X-rays,!the consultation, the cleaning, the thorough explanation of everything was great. The staff was great, Ms. Toni was awesome and kept me informed the whole time. Also the techs that worked on my husband Dimitry and my son Olivier was great too. You can tell the staff gets along great. Because they were all professional and synchronized in a non fake way. Dr. Kelsey Knuth is outstanding. All 3 of us had an awesome and thorough experience. Going to the dentist can sometimes be overwhelming, especially when you have something like a chipped tooth over the weekend, however since I found LANDSTOWN DENTAL i knew it would be no problem at all. Since my first experience (another chipped tooth😩) I’ve recommend them to everyone I know. I actually love what they did with my tooth, and how it looks, as in you can’t tell which one was chipped! I also had crowns done (I was terrified at first) but Dr Fitzgerald and the staff are beyond awesome and make you feel at ease! Best dentists int he area for sure!ROXANNI DIAZ

Great place and staff! I'm the type of person who hasn't gone to the dentist in yearsss. And I am new to the state, I got over my fear and got a bad tooth looked at by Dr. Kelsey. She has such a good, relatable, relaxing vibe. I enjoyed my whole experience with the staff and I will definitely start going to them for all my teeth needs. I Graduated as and honor student earned my A.O.S as a CMA. I was told by centura that they would help me find a Job. It never happened. And I search for a Job for 2yrs and I even tried to volunteer for doctors office's and private care. I was told since I didn't have any experience they couldn't assist me I had to have at least 1yr experience in the field. I feel like I was deceived and tricked into a student loan and I no longer have my certification because I couldn't find a Job I still have my degree but if I wanted to search for a Job in the field again I would have to go back to take the test or a refresher course. Meaning paying more money and that's not going to happen. I'm really considering taking this issue further legal actions against this school for misleading and deceptive information having people to believe that they are going to get a job and instead your stuck with dept.. Centura is a great place to start over or even finish something you need to finish. I personally love this school. They have helped me to realize my potential. They push for excellence I'm glad because I'm in the top 5% of my class and just got invited to The National Honor Society. You set your goals at Centura they make sure you reach them. Waste of time and money didn’t learn anything. They make you pay for books that you’ll never open because everything’s on the computer, you basically teach yourself. More computer action than hands on and lecture and lectures are read word for word out the books the put online, no clarity . I’m leaving the program with little knowledge from that school and not confident that I’ll pass the certifications and actually get a job in the field. Instructors come and go (in the middle of the mod). Would not recommend at all.Jala Moore

I made an appointment last month on May23th at 9am. I had took time off from work and waited for almost three week for this appointment,. and Front desk Nicole called me around 7 am on the day of appointment telling me we need to reschedule for another appointment because the dentist got sick. so my appointment is due today on June 9th at 3:30 I did same thing I took time off from work. I called gentle office to let them that I can't find my previous X-ray , and I told Nicole that my insurance should cover my X-Ray . she told me she will find out and she will let me know. she had called me and telling me my insurance isn't within their network. I had provided her my insurance last month and told me the office take this kind of insurance. at last minute she is telling me they don't take my insurance and I had missed 2 days of works and some other things. Sunny is so great there!! I have such sensitive teeth and fear going to the dentist but since I started going to Gentle Dental all those fears are gone. I actually look forward to going now!! Everyone in the office treats me like family. They all know me by name when I walk in and Sunny is ready for me since I'm usually on my way to work or on my break from work. She values my time and gets me done quickly and efficiently. If I need any additional work done they always work around my crazy work schedule and get me in as soon as possible. My son was only in town for 4 days and needed his cleaning before going back to his dads in Florida and I was able to call and she found a way to get him in on the same day and time as my appointment. I have been going to see Sunny for a few years now and wouldn’t have it any other way. She is the best at what she does!! The entire staff including the dentists are top notch. My previous dentist was nothing like Gentle Dental, I felt I was just a patient who came in every few months but Gentle Dental makes me feel like family and always takes care of me and my family. Have always had bad experiences with dental visits during my 20 year Navy career. When i broke a tooth a week ago i tried to treat it with Oral-B but finally realized this was not something that was going away so i made the dreaded appointment to have it looked at. I have a totally different out look now after visiting Bay Colony Dentistry!!! Everyone was absolutely amazing!! I've never felt as comfortable in a dentist office as i did the other day. I had broken a rear molar and they had to remove it. Other than my blood pressure being elevated (normal for me as i have what they call "White Syndrome") it went great. As long as I'm able to keep going to Bay Colony for future issues or just general annual oral hygiene i will not hesitate to make appointments in the future. What an amazing group, from the young lady that signed me in, to the entire team that worked on me. Thank you to everyone that took care of me!!! Thanks again and see you all next Thursday!! And I love her one fee for two cleanings and x-rays a year with 20% off of services. She is a credit to the profession and I cannot say that about some of the other dentist I have been to.
