I was delighted and pleasantly overwhelmed by the comprehensive exam I received. It was far more thorough than I have ever experienced and well worth the visit. I recently became a patient of Dr. Aygen after receiving very positive recommendations from many of his patients who live in my new neighborhood. All of the staff actually Cares. I feel like that should be the first sentence because its a rarity for the whole office to be compassionate and very much accommodating. If I could give more than 5 starts I would. As a young female trying to find good health providers, Dr Childers office at Waterside Dental, exceeded my expectations. When I first walked in the environment was very calm and welcoming. I came in for a consultation to have my wisdom teeth extracted where I received X-rays and a full consultation. The entire team was extremely professional and accommodating also personable. Dr Childers assured me I would be a good candidate to undergo extractions with just numbing solution, and I’m glad I decided to go that route. He and his assistant made me feel very comfortable the entire time and he preformed an EXCELLENT job removing the teeth QUICKLY and PAINLESSLY. I've been a patient at Waterside Dental for 18 months, each visit I'm welcomed by a cheerful staff, seen almost immediately, then treated as if I was VIP patient throughout the entire visit! All the equipment, furnishings, chairs, even the ceiling sparkles with cleanliness. I recently worked with Kimberly at IPG. She spent a lot of time finding out what I really wanted and made sure that the position and company I had applied to was a good fit. After getting me submitted and scheduled for an interview, she called me and sent information on how to prepare for the interview. She also gave me a lot of background information about the company so that I was prepared. I called her after the interview, and she worked hard to follow up with the company. She knew what my minimum salary requirement was, as well as the benefits I was looking for and made sure that any job offer contained all of this. We just moved here and our family was looking for a new dentist. This dentist office is the worst I've ever experienced. I have a bit of anxiety when it comes to dentists i requested nitrous oxide which their system was not working properly the entire time i was there and they were made aware, the hygienist was so rough and very rude.. ive never had gum disease or issues like they said i was having as i take very good care of my teeth. Seems as if they are more interested in the pocket book than the patient. If you are looking for a compassionate office in any way this would not be your best option. I also went for a 2nd opinion and was told my gums and teeth were very healthy and they agreed that some dentist offices are more interested in money than correct care. Last Thursday my crown fell off. It's been four years since I had it done in this office. After that I been going to another dental office due to insurance eligibility change at that time. Jimmy fit me into their tight schedule, next morning, within 17hrs, my crown went back to where it belongs. I was so happy and can't say thank you enough. BTW the other office "smile design…: I been going for the past few years told me I have to be seen by the doctor first. After I told them I am a routine patient, she offered me an appointment for 4days after and told me to call in the morning. I just walked out. Very friendly dental assistants and dentist. They made it feel like I had a family dentist again which was refreshing. Our daughter Kristin is autistic and has a fear of medical practitioners in general . Every visit to the daughter has to be carefully planned and coached that we may avoid a major meltdown. The staff at Lifetime Smiles was very compassionate and sympathetic to our daughters needs. Taylor, worked with Kristin to help get her panographic xray which, although unsuccessful, did get some images. Dr. Donato is a very caring and kind doctor who went over all of the options with us. We will going the route of sedation dentistry and Christopher, the office manager worked with us on securing the proper paperwork and information that we will need. I was on vacation when tragedy struck and I suddenly had immense mouth pain. I called around looking for help and Lifetime Smiles was one of few places open on a Friday. They were booked but somehow managed to squeeze me in. I cannot express how grateful I am for their accommodation to see me. Their staff was incredible and so kind and helpful. Dr. B saw me and discovered I had an infection and got me started on antibiotics. Because I was leaving the following day, he did his best to help me with my pain management to get me through until I got home to have my dentist treat me. The front staff is very friendly and patient (answering all insurance and exams questions thoroughly). The office is clean and inviting. The wait was less than 10 mins. The dental hygienist & Dentist that saw my son (10 yrs old) were friendly and welcoming. They did a wonderful job cleaning his teeth and informing me of what the next steps were regarding follow-up. Dr. Hank Michael’s office is exceptional! He has invested in all the most up to date technology. My visit felt more like a Spa treatment. The entire team is extremely friendly and very skilled. There isn’t any out of date techniques and technology at this practice. Dr. Michael is down to earth and really cares about his patients. He took his time with me to develop a careful plan for items I can address in the future. He also introduced me to a new inexpensive tool I hadn’t used before which should help with my gum health! Dr. Chasolen has given me my life back! I cannot recommend him enough! 3 years ago I had my set of veneers done at a well know dental practice in Lakewood Ranch. Soon after getting them they started to pop off! This process went on for the next 3 years! They didn't have an answer why this happened other than to blame me. You can't imagine the anxiety this caused never knowing where you would be when a tooth fell out. I finally had no option but to get them replaced. After being referred to Dr. Chasolen I learned not all labs where the veneers are done are the same and not everyone who does veneers are trained the same. You REALLY do need a highly trained specialist that can create the right set for your mouth and also someone who uses a good lab to create them. I am finally able to have a meal without having to check if I still have all my teeth! After consulting with several dentists, I was referred to Dr. Chasolen since my case needed a high level of expertise. I am convinced he is the best. He is professional and understanding (I’m not the best dental patient). He uses state of the art technology and processes and has a staff that works at the same level of excellence that he does. Dr. Conrad seems to be a competent practicioner. (I say that this way because I had one simple procedure and it went well). She has a pleasing personality and values the comfort of the patient. However, the follow-through between herself and the front desk just didn’t seem to be smooth. There was confusion about the bill and there were no follow up instructions regarding some of the issues we had discussed while I was in the chair. I was not told the total cost of my visit upfront. When asked to complete a survey I asked if I could speak to the doctor first to clear up some of this and was never put in touch with her. All in all, it was a mixed experience. Dr. Conrad and her staff are always super friendly! The office has some of the latest technology, allowing more detailed work to be completed. Dr. Conrad showed me up close pictures of my teeth and the areas of concern so I completely understood what she was fixing and keeping an eye on. She also thoroughly explained what the outcomes could be and what each type of sensitivity might mean. I love the office decor! And bonus: she has multiple TVs screens to show you your teeth and even one on the ceiling in each treatment room which you can watch tv on while getting your teeth cleaned or whitened. I met the Doctor Conrad while she treated my partner, he has had a terrible experience in childhood and as a result had not seen a dentist in a very long time. He has had a wonderful experience getting treated by Dr Lori and she has become our family dentist from there on. Dr Lori Conrad is replacing an old crown for me ,this is a second crown that she has done and I'm looking forward to the results since my old crown was uncomfortable. A meeting of fate. For one year, we have dealt with half done, insurance charged and paid dentist, who after a year still has yet to finish their work. Made one phone call, explained my situation and found what little there is of humanity, by Sharon, who answered my call at Dr Colkmire Dentistry. Answering phones all day, is not easy. However, with that said, Sharon took my call, listened to my experience at Bayview Dental (on Bee Ridge Rd, Sarasota). She heard me and how I felt. Anyone can listen, but only the good, can have the answers you seek, by her hearing what I had to say. She had no obligation to guide me, of her experiences and wisdoms of the trade to find the answers that one seeks when they experience (in a nutshell) insurance fraud, with only half done work and changing an individual, their mouth and health. Bayview Dental, cares about upcharge (yes, like a car going in for an oil change and instead, handed a paper with all the work that "needs" to be done), those up charges are called in short, their commission on how they can get paid better, based off a patients "treatment plan". Bayview Dental, is a contradictory and obviously underpaid employees having to do whatever it takes to make sure the amount is worth their trouble. However, Bayview Dental charged myself and my girlfriend, an enormous amount of "needed" maintenance, without the need of the maintenance, charged the FULL amount to our insurance company (as it was December and we would be losing our current dental insurance by the end of the month), started the work, got paid by both the insurance companies, and our out-of-pocket expenses. However, when we tried to make an appointment (knowing we would have to pay out of pocket for the rest of the started work to get finished), we were met with deaf ears, not returning our calls for an appointment, having to reschedule each time because the Dr just happened to be out on our appointments) and not fulfilling a rescheduled appointments. Now, with the pain, a long with a year of started dental work, can and did turn into what will amount to us having to not only pay again, but triple this time, as dental work is not a save for later, type of deal. A mouth with half worked teeth will turn into the difference of a cavity to needing 3 root canals. What Bayview Dental did, was and is insurance fraud. We have found that we are only a small number to the amount of people who have also experienced their "services". Needless to say, Sharon not only answered my questions, but at the very last minute, was able to make an immediate appointment for both myself and my girlfriend the very next day. A year is a very long time to be in mouth pain, and goes against everything a dentist stands for. This is about insurance fraud and scamming people out of money, only to profit off another individuals pain and misery. Thank you, for reaching out to us, Sharon! We meet everyday individuals all day long, however, those meetings, in many ways will somehow change a person's life. Couldn't be happier with making my choice to visit today — after looking at literally hundreds of reviews from several dozen dentists. First of all putting off the dentist for awhile and going back is sort of scary enough on its own, but I was going in for an emergency issue too. The subdued coloring in the waiting room has a calming effect, and the receptionist was prompt with greeting and was able to squeeze me in. Really was my lucky day because I can't imagine going anywhere else now that I've been here! I was seen sooner than I expected and was walked back through an updated and modern space for x-rays. The technician (and also dental asst?) was outstanding! She was clearly knowledgeable, perceptive, and liked what she was doing which made me feel relaxed and comfortable. She is a shining star of the operation for newcomers especially. Then I met with the Dr. and had a thorough exam and he told me exactly what I needed and if I would like a plan for immediate services or for additional non-emergency needs as well. I chose to just have plan and price for immediate needs which was reasonable. It could have been more, and I feel I would be hard-pressed to find for anything less especially for this quality of care. The Dr. himself was pleasant, professional, and entire demeanor was comforting. It felt like I was in good hands– and that's what I was looking for. The dentist was very friendly I can't remember his name but I can tell you what he looks like and how my experience was. He is a very kind and charismatic man who had a shaved head, very proficient and gentle and made me feel very comfortable like I was family . I recently visited Parkway dental to have a new crown. I arrived at the appointed time and was immediately taken to the appropriate room, had selected a color for the crown etc. I was ready to go. The dental hygienist put a numbing agent in my mouth and after about 10 minutes the dentist came in and gave me Novocain. She then left saying that I would have to wait about 15 minutes for the Novocain to work. I waited 55 minutes before the dentist returned. I think this is an unreasonable amount of time to lay in a dentist chair with part of your mouth numb waiting for the dentist to arrive. The dentist is very good. She is kind, caring and very professional and does excellent work, however, I do not enjoy just lying in a chair waiting for nearly an hour. I believe that she perhaps is taking too many clients or has other staffing problems.Deborah OBrien

This dental office is amazing! As soon as you walk in the doors the front staff greats you with a smile and truly seem to care. Susmitha my hygienist makes me feel super comfortable, is very thorough and even remembers details about me when it’s time to come back for my next cleanings. Dr. Silliman takes great care of me and any concerns I have. I also recently had the ZOOM whitening done and the difference is insane!!! Kenny and Lauren did a great job taking care of me during the process. If you’re looking for gentle dentistry, a clean dental office and a caring doctor university parkway dental is the best choice! Like most people, I do not like going to the dentist. With Dr. Silliman and her great staff, they make the visit much more pleasant. I highly recommend Dr. Russo. I went to him for my gum recession; I needed gum grafts on 5 teeth, especially because I wanted to get braces (and wanted to prevent further damage). First, the staff is amazing. Everyone has been so nice in the few months they have worked with me. The office is always clean and the receptionists are responsive, friendly, and they answered all the questions I had! Dr. Russo is great. He also answered all the questions I had and took the time to explain my treatment plan in detail before starting anything. He split my gum graft procedures into two appointments so that I could use half of my mouth while the other half healed. After my gum grafts, which were very quick, they provided a thoughtful gift bag that contained some foods that I could eat, as well as a mouth guard so that I didn’t have to feel the stitches! When they gave this, they explained everything I should and should not do for a full recovery. 🙂 Through this whole process, I felt that my needs were fully addressed, I felt cared for and most of all, I was very pleased with the experience and results. Everything healed very nicely. Trust the process – the outcome is wonderful. 🙂 I am very happy that I chose Dr. Russo. P.S. The procedures were not painful at all. I have been going to Dr. Russo for several years now. He and his professional and personable staff have kept me smiling through some relatively serious dental issues and implant needs. He's always kept me well informed of my options and costs. He's been extremely accommodating to me as a patient and a customer, meeting time constraints and other needs. All of my experiences whether minor or major have been basically pain free. After more extensive procedures I'm well instructed on post op care for myself and am given a thoughtful comfort package to take with me when I leave the office. All followed up by a phone call the next day to check on me. Recovery has always been easy, pain free and short. I would definitely recommend Dr Russo for any periodontal or Implant needs. There are many good doctors in Sarasota, but by far Dr Russo and staff are the best by far. The office is friendly, doctor is on time, and they explain procedures in laymen terms. Dr Russo gives options, realistic timelines and you do not leave any visit with a question lingering. This place is horrible and they steal from people in desperate situations. We have proof they stole 1105.00 from my sister and won’t give her money back. My sister was only supposed to pay the difference of what insurance would not cover which was 735.00. They charged my sister’s credit card for over 1800 dollars of which had already been approved and paid for by the dental insurance. This place scams you out of your money by submitting the insurance ahead of time and then telling you that the insurance was denied when in fact it was previously approved and they show you resubmitted paper work which the insurance company at that point will deny because the 1st claim was already approved.They also tried to charge my mothers dental insurance twice when they had received payment for extractions already from the insurance company. They put a fraudulent claim in for another date for the same extractions. Now My mom has to sue them to get the money back and I will be going to try and contact the news station to make every one else aware of this office robbing people. They are a bunch of scam artist who take advantage of elderly and hard working individuals. We will get justice!Obsidian Gem

Practically painless shots – best I've had in over half a century of dentistry. I am shot-phobic, but I no longer get anxious about Dr. Hanna's (and only hers). No exaggeration to say that a typical cleaning hurts more. I am always treated with the utmost respect throughout the office. I am so grateful for the experiences I’ve had at Dr. Mac’s office! I was a patient of his growing up, and now my children are patients too. Due to the circumstances surrounding Covid, my 6 year old son has developed severe anxiety with any and all appointments. The entire staff, and of course Dr. Mac went above and beyond making sure my son (and this nervous mom too!) felt comfortable as he needed 2 teeth extracted. They were able to get us in quickly to be seen. They took their time answering any and all questions, and Dr. Mac even called that evening to check in on my son after his appointment. Dr. Mac was my dentist as a teenager and he is also the dentist for my boys. His caring and kind approach along with his expertise have always exceeded my expectations so much so that I drive from Lakewood Ranch. The staff is so caring, professional, warm and friendly. My boy had a nasty fall on vacation here in Sarasota – Dr Mac and his team were simply incredible. They came in on 1 hour notice on their day off to help my son who had smashed out his front teeth! His demeanor with kids is wonderful. Calming & informative he explained to my 8 yr old every step of what he was doing to fix his broken tooth allowing/encouraging him to help however he could. Everyone in this office goes above and beyond that demonstrates a level of dedication that I have never seen before in almost ANY medical practice. Dr.Schweizer is extremely patient and takes as much time as is needed to discuss whatever concerns are relevant to you and your dental health.He is kind and thorough with treatments.He did alot of work on me about 20 years ago,and I have not had any problems with those teeth since then. His hygenist is uber thorough as well,and I find her to be unusually detail oriented.She spends about an hour each cleaning and my teeth always feel so much better when I leave. The office staff is on top of their work as well and super friendly as well as efficient. I give this office a def.10 on a scale of 1 to 10!!! The entire office is fantastic. I began seeing Dr. Porto after another dentist in town said I needed $10,000.00 of work immediately. Dr. Porto advised that none of it was immediately necessary and most was not advisable. I recently had my teeth straightened with an Invisalign type of process. It was reasonable in cost and effective. The entire staff is friendly and professional. The office has provided excellent service without unnecessary cost. Thank you Dr. Porto.
