20 Best Dental Hygiene Programs In Honolulu, HI (2022 Updated)

I was transferred to the Queens emergency department from urgent care the other night. While I was initially hesitant with being sat outside next to the COVID isolation area, the workers were super nice and understanding when I chose to stand a good distance away from the actual seats. They even let my significant other stay with me the entire time! I was shocked, and ultimately very happy to not be forced to be alone. That initial seating worst part of my experience here, and ultimately I can't blame them with COVID cases being on the rise again (early June 2022, boo). From the start, my intake nurse was an incredibly kind women. I was very anxious that night (I really wasn't expecting to have urgent care tell me they wanted me at the ER), and she was super kind and patient. She got all of my information, and after I was seated in the hallway waiting for a room, she came back to the waiting area multi times to check on me and the other person who was under her care as we waited! She was so nice. Once I was taken into a room, the story stayed the same. All of my nurses were super nice. They talked me through everything, they were patient with me despite me being very very stressed out from circumstances. My main nurse had a nice sense of humor and really helped calm my nerves just by being a really great guy. Ended up getting a CAT scan, and everyone involved with that was just great. My doctor was the same way. Very nice, talked me through everything. Amazing experience. Thankfully everything turned out being okay. ER visit was mostly for the imaging services, which thankfully ended up showing that things weren't as bad as they could be, and they got me out pretty fast after everything was read. I came into the ER that night stressed and on the verge of an anxiety attack. The incredible nurses and technicians on duty that night helped me get through everything and calm me down. That was such a incredible staff, and my intake nurse even asked me how I was doing as I ws leaving! This is honestly the first time I have ever been to any ER and actually felt cared for and like I wasn't just bothering all of the staff. Thank you all.cecil cb

I've been trying for 5 days now to get an answer to "where did this eligible charge come from" and have yet to find anyone at Queens who can actually assist me. I had an appointment on Monday that I had to cancel because I couldn't get a straight answer. First I tried the billing department on Friday and they said they'd call me back. They never did. I called them back today and they had no record of me calling and being promised a callback. So I've been waiting 5 days for nothing. Then I was transferred to some person's voicemail and I couldn't tell what her name was so I don't know what department she's from. Doubtful she'll call me back. The operator did not tell me where she was sending me so I have no way to follow up on this one. Then I was instructed to call the sleep center, so I did, and they also said they couldn't help me. They don't check CPT code eligible charges. That's not their job. The last attempt I have at getting this information is through their "intake department" and I have no idea if that'll be successful. The woman on the phone is also confused. She also promised me a callback. Will I call back in 3 days only to find out no promised callback was ever logged on my account? Probably. All I'm looking for is how they got an eligible charge for a certain CPT code. It's not from the insurance company. I had that code run and it's a different charge with standard providers. They are unable to check the fee with this provider if it's a non-standard contract and the answer must come from Queens itself. And yet here I am 7 phone calls, 4 departments, 1 voicemail, and 2 promised callbacks later and nobody can answer "where did this eligible charge come from? Who gave it to you? Did you make it yourself?" This is absurd. If someone from Queens wants to call me, the Sleep Center and like 3 other departments have my contact info. Please call me back with an answer. Literally one of the worst hospitals I have been to in my life. I was in the ER and they left me in the hallway the entire time and said “there aren’t rooms available but people that came in after me got a room before I did and some weren’t even sick or plugged up into machines. They wanted to keep me overnight in a hallway outside of a COVID patient room. The doctor told me I needed a blood transfusion and I had a horrible reaction to it, it was so bad that they had to stop it the transfusion altogether. I’m very concerned and I’m following up with my primary care doctor. I fear that blood was not cleaned and my health has been compromised. nurses were not attentive, then I receive a letter in the mail two weeks later saying that I have been exposed to Covid 19. Covid patients should be isolated and away from general patients! No was following up with me, they ran all of these tests and I had to ask for my results. The IV they out in my hand end up giving me an infection and my hand and arm was swollen. If possible do not ever go to hospital I didn’t have any infections when I came in and I left with 3. This hospital needs to be closed down.Danielle Anderson

Dr. T and staff: thank you so much! I am not the best patient; yet you and your staff continue to treat me like I am. When I attend my appointments, I truly feel, as soon as I enter that door, that I'm not inconveniencing anybody in that office. I appreciate Dr. T's patience and grace in educating me with my dental needs. You know, I've gone through so many damned dentists; not one of them had ever come to a complete stop in the work to address my darn bite. Until I had come to this office, I never knew my true bite. Dr. T and his staff pretty much stopped in their tracks and had to go back to the drawing board because my bite was kooky and a re-cast was needed … long story short, I had to go back several times just to take care of one broken crown. But each time I go back, I don't feel bad or embarrassed, and I feel respected. Excellent service and a friendly, comforting bedside manner, very accommodating schedule. I was in a lot of pain from multiple issues that I had procrastinated taking care of. Dr Takagi and his staff arranged for a treatment evaluation and Bonnie explained what my insurance would cover and what I'd pay out-of-pocket. Then they setup an immediate care appt to get my pain under control on their lunch break, very much appreciated! Jade does a great job of explaining dental care and I actually enjoy my cleanings. I’m scared to death to go to the dentist, and I had dreaded my visit for weeks. I was met by friendly staff members at the front desk when checking in. The dentist assistant that I met next was also very friendly, very patience and very understanding. Then I met Dr. Gum and he was so calming, he took his time to listen and explained very thoroughly what he was going to do at my first visit. Dr. Gum is the best! He is kind, gentle and accommodating. I have vertigo so I get very dizzy when I lay down flat. He goes out of his way to slowly recline the chair and does not recline it all the way down. I am sure that this makes his job much more difficult but he always makes sure that I am comfortable. He is honest and tells you the exact cost upfront. His staff is cheerful, friendly, and professional. I always recommend him to my friends and family. Dr Gum and his team are excellent.. I live on a different island now and will fly here specifically to get my teeth cleaned and any work done. Today I had a cleaning and during exam he noticed a week spot from my grinding. He knew my flight plans and filled me in, literally!, during what I think was their lunch hour. I trust Dr Gum. EDITED TO ADD: I never post reviews. I always give places a second chance. I do not think this place will receive that from me. I have been to a lot of different dental offices and I have never had a bad experience at the dentist until recently when I visited Hawaii Family Dental. I was there for OVER 2 hours for a cleaning & x-rays, I don't know about everyone else but I have never spent this long at a dental appt. I have never been to a dentist that has separate appts for the x-rays and cleaning. My appt was scheduled for 2pm, I arrived 15 min early to fill out any paperwork, they got me in pretty quickly after I filled out forms, x-rays were done first (which is typical IMO), then they took me back to have the doctor look at my teeth (this part was unusual to me, as I have never had a doctor check my teeth before a cleaning, it's always been done after. Not a big deal, just thought it was odd.). After the doctor gave her assessment, the assistant said he was checking to see when my cleaning would be, I then asked "is it not going to be today…??" and he said that he didn't see me on their schedule, but thought I was supposed to get a cleaning done at 3pm and maybe they double booked me. He escorted me to the waiting room to have a seat while he went to confirm (it was 2:20pm by this time). He came back out and confirmed I would be taken back again at 3pm for my cleaning. At this point, I was not happy that I had to wait 40 min for a cleaning, I have never experienced this before where the cleaning is scheduled at a separate time. 40 min later I was taken to the back again for my cleaning. I sat in the chair for another 20 min waiting for the hygienist, at 3:20pm she came to do the cleaning. I asked if it would take a while because I had to get back to work and had already been away much longer than anticipated. She assured me the cleaning wouldn't take that long. The cleaning was fine, she was a little rude about my flossing abilities I thought, she was shocked that it had only been 6mo since my last cleaning (which is standard). I paid extra for the fluoride and she said that would be the last thing and left without telling me someone else would be assisting with that, or saying bye. Got my fluoride and was escorted back to the waiting room where the gentleman said to have a seat until someone calls on me to get settled up. It was 3:50pm when I was sat. By 3:55pm no one had helped me, there was 1 gentleman in the waiting area but I was certain that he was waiting on someone since I saw him earlier with someone. There was a couple already being helped. I was not happy. I finally went up to the desk and asked if someone could please assist me in paying because I had been there for over 2 hours now and that I had to get back to work. The woman was very shocked that I had been there that long and apologized and found someone to help me right away. I was finally out of there at 4pm. The doctor that I saw, the woman at the front desk, and the gentleman who assisted with my x-rays were all friendly. There are tons of 5star reviews so I am not sure what was going on the day that I visited. I would just say for anyone who is booking here, just know that your x-rays and cleaning will be scheduled separately VS. being in the same appt. I went with this dental office because it was conveniently located near my apartment and I was able to walk, however I do not see myself ever returning to this office again.Grace Poel

My dentist and hygienist are the best. Always personable, caring and know their job. I would recommend Hawaii Family Dental – Honolulu if you are looking for a dentist. You get reminders of your appointments, cost estimates of your upcoming appointment so you can be prepared or ask questions if needed and the front staff is always personable and helpful. Greatly appreciated Dr. Mitz for fitting me in during my dental emergency. Nothing says pain like a tooth gone bad. They fit me in the very next day and had me good as new that same day. Got fitted for a crown and in just 4 hrs later, it was good to go. Even got an opportunity to save some money per the Drs. suggestion. This is why I keep coming back for care. AMAZING 10 STAR EXPERIENCE. You would not find a better dental team than the one at the Okuda office! A few years ago, my mom had her 4 front teeth knocked out and I had to find her a dentist that was an expert in cosmetic dentistry because my mom already had porcelains done before. She wasn't very satisfied with her previous set, so we didn't go back to that dentist. I spent a lot of time asking around and reading reviews online to find the perfect dentist for her. I came across Dr. Okuda's office and when we went for our first consultation, right off the bat we could tell how professional the team was. They were welcoming and very empathetic of my mom’s situation. They were helpful and patient with me and mom. After our first visit, I didn’t even bother looking or visiting another dental office. We were sold. They were extremely professional and thorough with mom’s condition and what we had to do going forward. The team made us feel like we would be well taken care of and it was a big decision for us because it wasn’t a simple job like getting a cavity filled, my mom would need reconstruction in her whole mouth so it could take 2-3 years. For the whole process, my mom had her old set taken out, implants done, and new porcelains put in. There were many visits within these 2-3 years and every time my mom went in and out with ease. When Dr. Okuda was busy with other patients, they would send in a masseuse to give her a massage and help her relax. I absolutely hate going to see the dentist, it makes me anxious and its painful, but my mom would never complain about her visits to the Okuda office and would also share with me how well she was taken care of. Mom jokingly suggested for me to save up some money so I can have my teeth done with Dr. Koufax too! THANK YOU to everyone at the Okuda office for taking such good care of my mom. I will start by saying I was petrified of going to the dentist. My journey with Dr. Okuda and his outstanding team started a little over two years ago. Before seeing Dr. Okuda, three other dentists suggested that I have all my teeth pulled and get dentures. I was devastated and Dr. Okuda was the first dentist to say that I didn’t need to go with dentures. Dr. Okuda came up with a plan despite all the complications caused by my poor oral health. Through this journey, Dr. Okuda and his team have helped me overcome my fear and made me feel safe and comfortable at each and every appointment. They got some inexperienced doctor ( Doctor Bradley Hawkins) who told me that I need one root canal and the other one they said no need root canal but they just going to put the crown on top of it . But when this doctor tried to built up the teeth , he broke my teeth , I got a lot of breeding and I was very painful in his process that performed on me . It continued to breed for 1-2 weeks . The teeth that he said I need root canal I don’t event feel any pain to begin with. Therefore I went to see a famous root canal specialist in Honolulu and found out that Doctor Hawkins broke my teeth that I had issue with and it could not be saved event by fixing root canal and it need to be pull out only. Right now, I don’t have my right back teeth to chew my food with. For the other teeth , the root canal doctor told me there was nothing wrong with it. I went back to Waialae dental care and told the office what was going on, one of associates there said apologize to me and said they would not charge me anything. She said she would complain about this Hawkins doctor to the manager for me. But in reality they do nothing and they sent the bill to my dental insurance later. I will no longer want to go back to this company. I plan to consult my lawyer to complain about this doctor myself. Do not go there . The good dentist I know who worked with this office is also no longer there. Do no go there!! If I can give minus star I will !!Patty Dej

Our first experience at Wai’alae Dental was not bad, but it wasn’t great. While everyone on staff was very friendly, the processes felt very fragmented and impersonal. For example there were several people checking in and out as we arrived. The front desk staff seemed too busy and a shift change was occurring as I waited to ask about checking my daughter in. The parking lot was full, so I left my daughter inside while I went to look for street parking. This was not a great first impression. Her hygienist was great, she had a positive exam and cleaning experience. When it was time to check out it appeared as though there was another shift change or people taking breaks, so a new set of people were at the front desk. We waited for a while to check out, two people were helped ahead of us, then nothing, no one called us up and they sat there. I had to say, "Hi! We need to check out." They seemed to not know who we were or what services we had received, I had to basically start from scratch explaining what we were there for, what our insurance was, etc. also, not super reassuring. Overall I got the sense that the office does a decent job of drumming up business with mailout flyers but falls short in managing the quantity of business. We felt kind of like cattle being moved through a pipeline. Very impersonal. We have decided to go with an office closer to home and a little smaller and more personal service.Reina

That was literally the worst dental clinic I ever been in my life. I called them explaining I had a major pain on my wisdom tooth and I just want someone to get it out. When I got there in terrible pain. The front desk was just trying to sell me their plan even thought I explained to her multiple times that I was in pain and not even able to talk properly. When they finally call my name I had a really nice guy helping me with the x-ray. But the doctor OMG he look at me like he didn’t even want to be there. After I told him how painful was he press his finger all the way down in my wisdom and even said it wasn't the tooth and probably just my gum. I was there for one hour. I waited for the doctor to come back for over 30 minutes and he just came back to say he would not get my wisdom out. So I literally spend, my money, time and health in this place. And sure after not doing anything they still charge me $150 bucks for x rays. Ridiculous. They didn’t even prescribe to me a good pain killer. Would never recommend this place.Thayna Alves

Went for cleaning, X-rays and dental exam. Everyone was very polite and efficient. The office is comfortable and runs like a well oiled machine. In and out in under an hour was amazing because my teeth were in a serious state of disrepair from having put off my last 3 appointments. After digital X-rays we’re taken right in the treatment chair, Dr. Mandich performed a brief yet through and detailed exam. He gave me a courteous fist bump that things are all good and I can proceed with the hygienist. Laurie performed magic on my coffee stained and neglected teeth in 30 minutes. I was certain I would have to come back at least once or twice to finish the job but surprisingly, no need! She is obviously very skilled and comfortable with her job. Not once did her sharp dental pick slip to poke me in the gums which I was afraid of because of all the strong scrapping my teeth would require. Laurie did an excellent job and my teeth looked and felt as clean as ever! I made sure my next cleaning in 6 months was scheduled with her. There’s no doubt Ala Moana Dental Care is prepared and well suited to take care of all dental needs including emergencies and weekend and holiday visits.Kameron Slaten

So far so much better. 1st time here. Pros: Front staff Raven was very professional, friendly. She established an awesome first impression of AMDC. Billing staff Brad explained in detail of what to expect, played a critical part in the process. Dr. Nguyen and assistant (I’m sorry I forgot your name) were very knowledgeable and thoughtful. He understood my issues and communicated every thought and question I had. She validated my fears and was very down to earth. And I wasn’t drowning in my spit thank you. Cons: No recovery time to gather my nerves back. For a weakling like me, I would have appreciated an offer for a minute or two before getting up. However, because my procedure took longer than expected I understood that there were others waiting. Just made me woman up to visiting the dentist like I should. This is not my regular Dentist but happen to be flying in from the big island. I chip my tooth earlier that day! I went online found them called and they made an appointment right there and took me right in same day straight off the plane! The staff was nice welcoming and tended to my immediate needs and made comfort and understanding there goal. I had Dr. Mandich who took very good care of the chip tooth with a filling and I was out in less than an hour easy parking and easy to find!!!! Received a referral to this clinic for dental service. Called about 2-3 weeks ago and after answering a few basic questions I was able to schedule an appointment for this past Tuesday. Clinic is located on the campus of Palama Settlement, they serve adults, and provide services like: cleanings, fillings, and tooth extractions free-of-charge. They do not provide services like cosmetic dentistry, dentures, or root canals (for example). If you are in need of additional services, not offered here, they can refer you to low-cost and/or private providers in your area. Staff is very friendly and professional. Office and waiting area are clean and welcoming. Very thankful to have this institution providing these services to our community.Cheri Comparan

Needless to say when I recently chipped a molar and was digging out any extra food that got stuck my anxiety was through the roof. I've been a patient of Dr. Sueda's for over 20 years. I started going to Dr. Sueda's when I was in elementary school. I'm still a patient with Honolulu Keiki Dental even though I'm in my 30s and have no plans on changing dentists. Since I can remember, Dr. Sueda and the wonderful staff at Honolulu Keiki Dental always treated me like family. It is because of him and his staff, I have healthy cavity free teeth. Growing up, I remember I would get nervous when it was my turn to sit in the exam chair. Dr. Sueda would always greet me with a smile and ask how I was doing. It was the same with all the other kids I saw come before and after me. Dr. Sueda was genuinely concerned in knowing how each of us were doing and would crack jokes or talk story. When it came time to have my teeth cleaned or examined, Dr. Sueda would take the time to calmly explain what the cleaning or exam would involve. Over the years, I have had braces, retainers, 6-month cleanings, etc. Again, I owe my healthy cavity free teeth to Dr. Sueda and the awesome staff at Honolulu Keiki Dental. We were new to the island when we started seeing Dr. Sueda and the team. Our twins love going and the whole experience has been fantastic. The staff is always friendly, nice, welcoming and understanding, especially with younger children. Dr. Sueda answered any questions we had as well as provided information we didn't even think of. Although we are moving off the island, Dr. Sueda made sure I got his business card and told me to contact if I have questions because he still sees our twins as his keiki. Best dental experience ever. I’m a new patient and was looking for a dentist near me and found Manoa Dental. The process for scheduling an appt. was so fast and easy, the receptionist did all the work for me, I just needed to tell her my insurance and when I was available to come in easy as that. I just finished my TMJ treatment with Dr. Keri Do and am so happy with my result. She has so much knowledge and experience with TMJ that making my decision to go with treatment was easy to decide. She not just fixes my TMJ but made my teeth straighter and changed my profile at the same time so really, I just got a 3 in 1. After the treatment I decided to do my dental implants with Dr. Choy, he was there checking on my teeth during my TMJ treatment to make sure I was on track with my spacing for implants. I just love how this office communicates to make sure there’s no misunderstanding with their patients’ treatment. I ended up doing 2 implants at once, the procedure went by that I was able to finish a movie and didn’t feel a thing. I recently discover Dr Do at Manoa Dental. I’ve had an underbite all my life of 40 something years, every dentist and orthodontist that I saw has always told me that I needed jaw surgery. I then saw Dr Do who has change my life! The first doctor to ever told me that I can fix my underbite with just braces by moving not just the teeth but the bone. I’m only three months in and I am so happy with my results. Before, my face was very flat and my top lip was flat and my nose was flat. I visited Dr. Char’s office today and was going in for a consultation about a tooth. We ended up pulling it the same day which I was happy about because it was giving me a lot of pain. The first thing I noticed when I walked into the office was the cleanliness as well as the professionalism of each staff member. They were kind and helpful. As Dr. Char and I discussed the options regarding my tooth extraction, I was impressed with how informative he and his assistant were. I asked many questions and they were patient and happily answered each one. At one point, I asked his assistant which toothbrushes, toothpastes, and flossers she recommended. She was eager to inform me and I got a mini lesson in brushing and flossing properly. (Which was great!) I also appreciated how Dr. Char explained the procedure step by step before performing it, stopping along the way to ask if I had any questions. Dr. Paul Ching runs a great practice! He promotes preventative maintenance over procrastination with your pearly whites, and you will get the sense that he knows what he is doing. The dental hygienists and all the assistants are always genuinely kind and friendly to my ohana and I. We always have an extremely positive experience when we go there to get cleaning or services done. They have great operating hours and can even accommodate a Saturday appointment (however, I believe they are booked through April ‘22 for Saturday appointments). They have validated parking and are conveniently located in Liliha, at the St. Francis Medical Center. Of course, as with everything else, COVID-19 has forced businesses to change their policies. I say this to inform you that you may have to take extra precautions to keep yourself and others safe (i.e. sanitizing hands, wearing face masks, arriving to the office by yourself, etc.). Dr Ching is the best dentist. I have been going to him for a few years now and wish I had found him sooner. He is personable, funny, informative and totally accommodating with his patients. My family goes to him and we all love him. He explains the procedures before he does them. He always says if there is an issue with your treatment please let him know. He will fix it for you. The office staff are all pleasant and warm also. During this Covid 19 pandemic he has followed the CDC guidelines and kept his staff and me the patient safe. I live in Nuuanu and Dr Ching is very close to my house, since I don't have a car I can walk to my appointments, so, I love the convenience of his office location. I've only been going here for a few months, but so far I don't have any complaints. I suck at math, so was very happy to see they have free math tutors in the main library, in a study area! You can sit at a table and work alone (fast and free wifi for students), or ask the math (or english) tutor for help, which is the only thing that enabled me to pass. Beautiful campus, with large jungle trees, birds. I love the library, although they close too early during summer sessions, and are not open on weekends! One thing I don't like, however, is that in many classes, you sign up for the class and pay the tuition, and then the instructor directs you to buy a book (with an authorization code inside) ($190!) which you use to go online (Pearson MathLab), which is where you watch the videos, do the homework, quizzes and exams! If I am paying Pearson to use their website to learn all this, why am I paying the school so much tuition?We're literally paying two different institutions for one math class. Yes, I DO go to math class, but the instructor just goes over the chapter in the book and works out the examples on the board, and is available for questions. I feel this Pearson website should be included in the tuition, because..really now….the instructor isn't really doing anything after class, is she? Like grading homework? It's all online. Finally, this school advertises heavily/recruits in Asian countries, and many non-English speaking students attend the school. I don't have a problem with this, but now, in some of my classes, we have students who speak very, very poor English and can't follow along, (Excel Spreadsheet Class) and are always raising their hands to stop the teacher and have him come over and show them what to do! I don't have a problem with the occasional question regarding a formula, but most of these interruptions are for very simple things, like "How do I open a document?" Me and the rest of the class sit there and twiddle our thumbs, surf facebook or sleep while the whole class comes to a halt to allow the instructor to go to that one station and bring the non-english speaking student up to speed, while the rest of the paying class is sitting there, wasting time. One last thing; avoid the bookstore if you can, and buy or rent them online. Very expensive store, even for simple items! They sell a very cheap Texas Instruments calculator in there (recommended by the math teachers, coincidentally enough), and without even thinking, went over and bought it. They sell it for $20, but used it for about a week, and hated it. I found it very crappy, the buttons wouldn't register when pressed, etc. I was at Target later that week, and noticed they had calculators, and was shocked to see mine hanging there for $7.50! I paid $20 for a calculator Target sells for $7.50? Target had $20 calculators that were amazingly superior to mine, with larger screens, and better functions! What a joke! The other scam they do, is sell "branded" textbooks "specially printed" for Kapiolani College. Which means, they add their own little advertisements to the book! I have a "branded" textbook I bought from them, and every chapter or so there will be an advertisement in there for other classes at the college. Oh, and by the way, because they insert their own pages, guess what? The table of contents is now thrown off. By Chapter 10, when you look up "ROM" for example, the Table of Contents says Page 249. So you go to page 249, and it isn't there. So you start looking back and forth, lo and behold, it is way up on page 260. Thanks, KCC, for making me waste 5 minutes of valuable study time looking for something in a book that I paid $180 for, and in which the table of contents is now useless, because you "branded" the book with advertising inserts! Oh, and good luck selling the book online or to any other school; it says on the cover "Specially printed for KCC!". They do this, basically, to make it harder for you to sell it to a new student.James Dylan

I am a Senior citizen with several Masters Degrees and a world of experience. I can audit classes at KCC, and have taken several undergrad courses in the past two years with various instructors, all highly recommended. You get out of it what you put in, but I never failed to learn a lot in each class I took. The facilities are very good, and the cafeteria is quite good. The Ka'ikena Restaurant has a great view and a learning atmosphere, so we try to get reservations there at least once each semester. A plus is that we don't have to pay for parking and several city buses stop right at the college The teachers are student-centered which must make them crazy sometimes, because a lot of students don't have time to do any studying, or don't buy or read the course resources. This semester I am trying a service learning project. It's a lot of work but I look forward to the experience it provides to learn more about our own community.Frances Chaine

If three McDonald's on the compound one of them serves exclusively milkshakes. You have to go upstairs to get into the basement. Campus is a disgrace. Oh Hi, you paid $2,000+ for classes? Well welcome! Now you just need to give us 20$ so that you are allowed to head to your class without us kicking your ass for coming here in your personal mode of transportation to get what you paid for. We also- as a reminder on your permit receipt, don't care if your car gets broken into, or stolen as it's not our responsibility. Oh but don't worry, enjoy parking your vehicle in our paved lot or our cool dirt, graveled dusty lot. We also have nice guys driving and sitting around to be sure no students forget to pay for their car. Be careful though, we have no white lines indicating parking stalls! Now before you think of heading toward your classroom, Don't forget! it will cost at least $1,000 more in order to fully participate in your class. Once you give all your money, welcome to your classrooms located in these tall apartment buildings. Oh one more thing, watch out on the way, as vehicles need to drive in the path you need to take to get to your class. Of course, if you want to kill yourself it will gladly make it easier for you! plus, we have many students present on both sides of the single path to your classroom, and situated all around campus that love to puff smoke and/or vapor in your face so that your lungs burn, eyes get irritated, and you get asthma and possibly an allergic reaction. Graduated here, since then they have stuffed up numerous transcript orders and diploma replacements. They sent me someone else's diploma and refuse to refund or send me a new one, they say I need to pay for a new one!! Very nice campus. However, most of the uh help, wearing the pink shirts are constantly driving at excessive speeds, ilegaly parking while blocking narrow sketchy exits (ie. Music ctr.). While waiting to pick up my children, I've noticed at least 7 different cars, on various occasions, driven by the very same uh helpers(pink tshirts), speeding in the parking lot, disregarding all rules, in a disrespectful and ignorant manner.D S

This department recieved a $100 million dollar donation in 2015, that the university appears ro be using to improve the quality do it's undergrad and graduate NBA programs. The international aspects of these programs is unmatched with UH manoa's peers, because of Hawaii's high population of Asian country citizens and visitors and hence the ties to these countries, from a business and economic perspective. The emerging/emergent power of China for example in international markets, and the ties this University has specifically the business department makes for many attractive opportunities for internationally minded business students. I had my teeth cleaned yesterday at Ala Moana dentistry and was impressed that they took all the time needed to do a thorough job.My teeth stain very easily and are difficult to clean, but the hygienist spent about 90 minutes working at it. And then Dr, Watanabe even took time out to have a look at a tooth that's been giving me problems, even though I was only scheduled for a cleaning.
