20 Best Dental Hygiene Programs In Dallas, TX (2022 Updated)

Somethings have not changed at all about this wonderful for school even after 18 years. Despite being reminded of how old I’ve gotten, I was first introduced to the school back in 2000 when I was being recruited to play soccer here and everything about the school and the people that work there were just amazing, genuine and friendly. Now I’m trying to do work with career and job fairs and the people that are working there are still extremely kind and helpful. I’ve spoken to several universities and colleges today and in this past week and I had one person that went out of their way to Dallas Baptist University just answer a bunch of questions for me and help me out and point me in the right direction. The difference is that she spent more time doing it and was patient and did not look at it as if it was a hassle or obligation and even helped find me some additional ways to get back onto the campus. I’ve had a lot of friends and family members graduate from that school including recent family members and I have a cousin that is about to attend that school and I could not be happier that they are going to a place with such a great faculty and staff along with a beautiful campus. I recommend if you have any questions about career fairs, job fairs, student services, or general questions at all you call and speak to Akita Cook. She was so patient and helpful and stayed on the line with me longer than all the other colleges I’ve spoken with combined. I hope that she is given recognition for this as this is a lost attribute at most schools now with everything being automated for students, employers, and others who find it difficult to even reach someone much less have the excellent service from this employee of this great university. Thank you Miss Cook for going out of your way and lastly, if she cannot help you, she will transfer you and find the person/department that can help you.Kevin Inman

I attended DBU from 2010-2014 and graduated with a B.B.A in Marketing and a minor in Psychology. The only regret I have is not choosing to do the fast track program where you can get your Bachelor's and Master's in 5 years. My time at DBU completely changed my life for the better. The professors there are amazing and genuinely care about their students. I still remain friends with some of my professors to this day. The atmosphere in general is really uplifting and so positive. I was in a sorority during my time at DBU and fostered many friendships, some of them lifelong. If I could go back and do it all over again I would. I also participated in the Discipleship Program (highly recommended) for two years and had the most amazing mentor who completely changed my life. DBU really is an amazing school filled with countless opportunities and countless ways to build community with other students. This school changed my life. The faculty cares so deeply about your success, not only educationally, but spiritually as well. If you are looking for an amazing education, and to be positively challenged in your faith, I highly recommend Dallas Baptist University. Not to mention, it's been ranked the number 1 safest university in the country! DBU also gives out amazing scholarships. I know several student who were able to pay off their entire first year with scholarships alone. So don't let the price online scare you away. All the financial aid has supported me broadly. I know y'all are hanging in there from the pandemic I will be going to school on June 1st I have not been in school for 6 years because of problems in my family's life I'm still trying to figure life out I'm just now starting to take care of my mom I am living with her now which is a big step. I either need a scholarship for a college essay or need a grant but they said I don't make enough money. I worked for four years by the way. since I started school in dallas colleges(2019) this summer 2022 is the worse for me. My professor O'Brien is never available, no help from him, and has denied access to all the features that other professors give access to students in order to help us. I went to the campus to talk to an advisor after sending him more than 5 emails, even at the campus No one knew his whereabouts and he finally responded after 2 weeks since i told him I think I'll drop that class he didn't even bother to try and assist me instead he said yes you can drop it and you'll for sure find the same class with another instructor good luck. First time to have such a 👎 instructor at dallas colleges I so much regret wasting this semester in this class. Im only a freshmen at Mountainview community college but I already have a great opinion on the institution. I love the greenery surrounding the buildings because they make me feel tranquilized, I love the inclusivity this college gives and the diversity here. The professors that I have so far have been amazing and makes my classes worth looking forward to. I visited the school store in the S building just last week and I really love everything the store has to offer such as snacks, school supplies, feminine products, hygiene products, cosmetics, and basic necessities! The subway in the dining hall has welcoming employees with great customer service. The success coaches in the S building are also very helpful with planning for classes and addressing any concerns you may have. I love this college!Brianna

I'll preface this with that the only reason this school is getting 2 stars is because staff has actually been helpful when I have reached out to try and fix things. But when I tell you EVERY step of this process has been an absolute nightmare I am not exaggerating. I am a TWU graduate and needed a quick summer class to take because i got a conditional acceptance to a graduate school. This is time sensitive. So, long story short every single step had some issue that took multiple phone calls and people to fix. The biggest issue was me paying for an official transcript, seeing that on the tracking information brookhaven had received the transcript, and days later having the transcript STILL not put into the system which kept me from registering for the class that my entire future quite literally depended on me taking. Because of the bad timing of spring break I had to register late and it took an hour in person of me and the wonderful admissions worker figuring it out because no one we needed to contact was actually on campus. Although she was incredibly helpful, it was obvious the entire set up was frustrating for her too. The website is outdated and confusing and I get endless errors- i couldn't even pay without there being an error. It should not take two weeks to get someone registered for one class.Brooke-Lynn Taylor

Christi Carter is an awful person who sees students making mistakes during class and says NOTHING, then cheats during the "random body part selection process for competicy testing" and gives you the one body part she saw you making a mistake on but said nothing during class so she can kick you out of the program. Absolute zero compassion for students and their education. Luckily I've graduated Radiology at a different college dispite her being an absolute awful teacher. How someone can be so curropt and unfair became director of the program is beyond me.__

I was at this campus just to get my Student ID this week. Everyone I encountered was kind and helpful from the security desk attendant to the staff in Student Services. When I was looking at one of the outside campus maps to find my way a staff member came up and assisted me with the directions to where I needed to go. Reading the other reviews here, I see others have had problems with admissions and financial aid – I think all universities have lots of complicated paperwork in regards to those areas, so patience is necessary.Curtis Johnson

Richland College offers a High School Collegiate program that is now at its 10th year. My son was recently accepted and I went there to meet with the counselor and I was quite impressed with the cleanliness of the campus as well as its size. I did not realize how large the campus is and yet I pass it daily enroute to work. My meeting with the counselor was very informative as the counselor was thorough and very detailed with all the information we needed to know. It put me at ease. Then as we walked around, we walked under trees which provided lots of shade. The only thing I noticed though is at the parking lot we were at, there was very little shade. Something to keep in mind for the hot summers. The campus is very easy to access from the Eastbound lane of Walnut or the Northbound lane of Abrams. I've never really been to a JuCo but after seeing Richland's campus and meeting with some of the staff, my perspective has changed on how I see JuCos.Joey Pauga

I just wanted to go somewhere and take classes to pursue my dreams in comics and animation. The registration process at this school is an absolute nightmare. I got all my paperwork in and was all ready to pick my classes. Then I’m getting told I’m on probation when I’ve never been a college student before. I’m also getting told from a different admissions worker that my transcripts are lost and I have to resubmit them. I’ve been trying to get enrolled before the Dallas Promise deadline for weeks and it doesn’t look like it’s going to happen. The admissions office doesn’t respond to emails and calling them still has got me no answers. It’s becoming not worth it at this point.Mr B

I'm trying to back on track and attend college, but this school is extremely aggravating. It took them MONTHS to transfer my credits over, so I can register for my classes. I applied for financial aid, went to the school, and everything was great. But as my courses were ready to start, my classes weren't covered. Come to find out, my financial aid was approved for the previous 2 semesters. I registered for summer courses and everything, so how did this happen. I called financial aid (20 mins on hold) and told them about this situation. I had to drop my classes This is by far the most irritating schools I've ever had to deal with.Jblisi LeSueur

This school is literally the worst, they take all day in the advising office and registration office. They will have one or two people helping more than 20 people and you would think that would make them have a sense of urgency but they do not. They all act as if they don’t feel like helping you and move so damn slow. I received 2 parking tickets during the time I have attended this school because two hours in a meter is not even enough. The best advisor is Shannon, the rest of them act like they don’t care and will not give you any guidance when your new to college, some will over talk you and not even pay attention or listen to what you are saying to them. This school will literally make you not want to attend college at all with how difficult they make the process. I am here at the college registering for my classes for the fall and have been here since 1:00 it is now 4:00pm smdh. If you plan on coming here make sure you have a whole day to spend here!!!! I was suppose to be taking classes here last year but wasn't able to log in. I had a meeting and asked for help and she said she couldn't help me for some reason…I ended up texting & emailing people for help but they eighter didn't reply or said they were going to help me but then ended up not communicating back. I managed to call tec support and they said website was down. Few days later they called me & said they were going to put me on a list and since then I haven't heard anything. I feel like putting a bad review I’m currently trying to see a councilor here at El Centro I came Thursday before 5pm and they told me it was closed but on the website they close at 5pm. Come to find out today a staff member told me they closed an hour early because they were having a spring break party. Today I’m trying to speak to an advisor I’m the only one here sitting in the lobby still waiting for someone to help me. I used to love this school but honestly service has gone down the drain. Hello, my name is Tammie Tarpley Harris. I graduated in March of 2022 with my first degree in the HMAS program at 54 years old! CHCP has made this life changing dream come true for me. The cost and short time to complete the program really helped me to decide that this was the right step and time for me to do something for myself. The admission staff was really professional and efficient with every step of enrollment as well. I remember being so nervous that I would fail on my first day but Mrs Anderson, my first instructor really assured me that I would be just fine! All of the instructors are really hands on, even online! They are concerned for your future and making sure that you have the support and tools to get you there! I have enjoyed learning in a fast-paced setting throughout the past few months that I have been enrolled in the program to become a medical assistant. For the past week, Ms. Marshall, my previous teacher, has been very supportive and understanding of both my learning and myself. I'm currently enrolled in Ms. Morehead's class, and on my first day, I have injected Ms. Morehead with saline as a form of vaccine. I really love how I have learned different techniques from my various instructors because it has aided me to learn what techniques I like best. One of my favorite instructors has been Mrs.Morchead. She always makes her class fun and tells us stories about her experience in the medical field, which has helped me learn. I’m in the Concorde Career Program, my admissions coordinator Mr. Greg Stewart was always on top of things, easy to get ahold of and always professional. He made the admissions process such a breeze to gather through. The program is definitely challenging but so worth it. My lecture teacher Mr.Smith was awesome when it came time for certification she made sure if we didn’t understand something she would have private tutoring to make sure we understood. Dr. Denson has now twice diagnosed series issues that other dentists have routinely missed. The first was during the start of the pandemic. I went in to have a crown re-cemented. The routine X-ray revealed a that I had a massive infection that had made its way into bone on an adjacent tooth that had a root canal. I had complained of discomfort for at least a year with my previous dentist (in another city) yet he never caught the infection after multiple x-rays. Dr. Denson saw it immediately, referred me to Dr. Stewart, the surgeon who did the extraction and prep for an implant, and followed up after the extraction in a phone call. The second issue she caught was a few weeks ago when I returned to have another crown re-cemented. From the x-rays she noticed something wedged under a crown on the adjacent tooth. She picked it out. It had been there for a some time and my other dentist missed it in x-rays and exams. Turns out that the thing also concealed, and likely caused, decay to form below the crown and under the gum. On a follow-up visit, Dr. Denson removed the old crown, cleaned the decay, and fitted me for a new crown. She explained everything that she did and why she did it. For work, my time is split between Dallas and another city on the east coast when my other dentists practice. I'm going to ask Dr. Denson for an appointment for complete exam when I'm back for the new crown. She's the best. Trust her completely.Anthony Petrosky

I had a bit of a dental issue and needed immediate care. However, I had been living abroad since the Obama era, and I am from the East Coast. Needless to say, I was without a dentist and needed help. After a quick Google search, I found Denson Downtown Dental and gave them a ring. Frantic and alarmed as I was, Terri helped me calm down and offered me a same day appointment. When I came in, I was impressed by how clean the office was, and its overall sense of calm. Terri greeted me with good ole' Southern charm and before I knew it, I was with Dr. Denson herself. She gave me an X-ray and an exam, while balancing professionalism with friendliness. She's a well-versed doctor with great bed-side manner, and a real human being who knows how to connect with her patients. I felt like every need was met and every question was answered. Both Terri and Dr. Denson were quite keen to enusre that I felt taken care of, and as I live alone and experience very little human interaction these days, that level of care went a long way with me. Fantastic dental practice with excellent staff!! I come to Denson Downtown Dental for my regular cleanings and any dental work. As soon as I walk in to the office, I'm greeted by the sweetest Office Manager that I have ever interacted with, Terri. She is great at making sure I understand what needs to be done for my dental procedures and is such a pleasure to be around. I love the Dental Hygienist, Aashima, and she's such a vital member of the office. I love having her take care of me! She makes sure that I'm comfortable and I love her approach to making sure that I am taking care of my teeth. The other dental professional, Lauren, is educated and is great at supporting the overall atmosphere of the office. Dr. Jill Denson is such a sweet person and a wonderful dentist. I recommend her and the practice to anyone! Located conveniently in an office tower downtown and the office pays for parking. Dr. Jones is probably the most efficient dentist I’ve ever been to. Fastest filling ever – I was in & out within 30 minutes. Also, fastest root canal I’ve ever had – consult, recommendations, & a root canal were done within an hour and 15 minutes. He explained my x-rays, explained my options, & gave me his recommendations with more explanations. I’m a scientist, so I definitely appreciate that. Front staff is always really nice. Technicians, Assistants, & Hygienists are patient, professional, & thorough – they actually take the time to explain everything with all the details in understandable language to a non-dental person. This is my new dentist forever! I had an emergency several months ago as my veneer fell off my front tooth! He was referred to me through a friend at work. It was a Friday and my old dentist only works Monday through Thursday(another problem) and Dr. Jones squeezed me in an did a beautiful job. Today was my first full day with xrays, teeth cleaning by Angie and check up with Dr.Jones. He took time to talk about a couple things and I was on my way! Dr. Jones and his crew are the best. I have been terrified of dentists my entire life, but I've been seeing Dr. Jones now for 3 years and don't dread a visit anymore. I used to need laughing gas just for a cleaning, but not anymore. The hygienists are so patient and understanding. They are calming, and fast. It won't take you all day to get work done. (IMPORTANT UPDATE BELOW) Everyone was so friendly. Super high-tech, avoided all the worst parts of a dentist trip (taking molds with that gross foam stuff, etc.) thanks to the high-tech alternatives. Had TONS of flavors for the polish, etc. (definitely recommend the melon flavor) Best dentist experience of my life! UPDATE: I came back for another cleaning and had an unfortunate hiccup with the BrightSmile insurance I had enrolled in about six month before. They were SO KIND about the mishap and went out of their way to try and help resolve the issue. When we were not able to get it cleared up (insurance claimed I was not in their system despite my having proof that I had paid their 1-year premium only six months before) they helped me optimize the number of services I was getting that day so that I could still get my teeth cleaned and have my appointment without having to pay too much out of pocket. I deeply appreciated how much advice and assistance they provided for something completely unrelated to their services. They could have easily stated that my insurance wasn't working and I needed to pay out of pocket and left it at that, but they took the time to call the Careington/BrightSmile for me and try to find my coverage as well as help reduce the out-of-pocket cost for my appointment that day. They also confirmed that they would gladly refund what I paid out of pocket once the insurance issue was covered and they were able to get the appointment covered by the insurance. Truly an example of an office that cares about you and your health, rather than how much money they can get out of your needs. Dr. Lee and Bianca literally gave me the BEST experience I have EVER had at a dental office. I felt like my insurance signed me up to a VIP treatment. I had an INCREDIBLE comprehensive analysis done. The dental hygienist was absolutely wonderful. I was quite nervous coming in as it had been 8 years or so since I’d last seen a dentist. She was so kind, warm, and gentle, and obviously a pro, she put me at ease throughout the visit. I am sitting in the waiting room today bragging that my husband came here as a kid, the two men seated next to me both said “we both came here as kids too!” We all agreed we wouldn’t take our kids anywhere else. I have 4 kids, my oldest sons graduated from the practice, my daughters are still patients. From cleaning to education on how to avoid cavities, to braces, and repair from a chip they have taken great care of our family for over 4 decades!!! The care is the important part, but as a mom I will note 3 more things: 1. My kids have always been willing to go, they have never felt nervous or scared. 2. They run ON TIME and can always fit us in if we need something. 3. The waiting room is so pleasant, it is quiet and has great magazines! I would give bonus stars if I could. How awesome is it to have a dentist office where your kids can’t wait to go? My kids absolutely love Dr. Plunk and Dr. Dragan and look forward to each visit. Does your dentist make balloon animals or juggle or throw a confetti party when you come? Ours does! The entire staff is fantastic – competent and friendly. I came here when my oldest was 3 because we had tried another highly recommended dentist in the area. I couldn’t get over the price but I quickly understood why – I was paying for the gifts given to me: a picnic blanket and cards with my kid’s face on it to be their free referral service. We LOVE them and we love Dr.Dragon! my daughter started going here when she was 2 years old, and she just had her first real cleaning today at a little over 3 years old. I cannot Believe how great our experience has been with them! They know how to work with kids, they provide a very positive and comfortable environment for the kids and they Make the whole experience of going to the dentist a positive one. My daughter actually had a good time, she had fun being involved with her teeth cleaning and they went at her pace. I have been a patient of Dr. Swifts at Dallas Laser Dentistry for over 25 years. There is a reason for that. Dr. Swift is the best. She is knowledgeable and I trust her completely. I haven't always had the healthiest mouth and Dr. Swift has done everything she can to get my teeth and gums to their optimal health. The staff was courteous and professional. No wait time. The view from your seat is just breathtaking. I had a very smooth session with Miss Rojas who took the time to explain in details what she was doing and her recommendations for me for home dental hygiene. This is a career field in which has great job security as it is a job that is very much in demand and needed in society today as long as people still have mouths, gums, and teeth. Therefore, this is a great option if one is considering a career. This was one of the best decisions of my life and I am glad I went to this school. The transition from graduating to obtaining a job only took me two weeks and I was able to obtain a job during my first interview. The instructors are more than adequate and are very attentive to their students' needs. They are very clear as what is expected and required of the student in order for success. The program may be intensive, but the instructors are there to help the students succeed. There are no bad questions when trying to learn. The instructors here genuinely care about their students and their student’s success. They are very passionate about their profession, more than sufficient, and highly educated in their occupational fields. They helped me with job placement and even helped prepare me for the interview process. Being a recent graduate of Texas Academy of Dental Assisting, I can assure you that joining this program is going to benefit you in many ways. TADA only lasts 3 months! That means your next big career step can happen within weeks of you joining this program. Along with having lecture every class period, you also get to participate in hands on training during clinical. I was more than pleased with my instructors at Texas Academy of Dental Assisting. Not only were they informative, but they were also extremely personable. These instructors made class so so enjoyable. Between my instructors and my classmates, whom I have made great friendships with, I looked forward to going to class every week. Graduating from TADA felt extremely bitter sweet. Although, I was proud of myself for making it through, I was sad that I would no longer see these familiar faces every week. It is such a wonderful experience to spending 3 month with Texas Academy of Dental Assisting. Love the course setting that letting me gain clinical experience ahead of time. It is such a good starting point for a career changer like me. It’s not that easy to get into the field without any knowledge on things like what a dental office needed or what a dental assistant’s life like, especially under the COVID. TADA gave me the chance to learn and getting familiar with all of those procedures, terms, and requirements as I worked in an actual dental office. During that period of learning, I can have a big picture of my future career and able to put all my effort to the right point instead of on a wrong path. I love all my peers my teachers and staff, and definitely Dr. McDonald and Sheila. They are experienced and full of joy and kindness, always willing to answer my random questions and help me practice procedures with grateful patience. I've been meaning to write a review but just kept putting it off. I had a crown done right before pandemic. I kept telling Dr. Fufidio the fitting was way too tight. She kept on, kept asking assistant to make necessary adjustments, and felt like forever in doing so. Long story short, I never felt comfortable with that ordeal, and I'm not the one to complain, especially when you're suppose to trust service professionals, not to mention a Dentist professional. She told me it was going to be durable and in time, it is versatile enough to move and feel comfortable. Well, that was far from the truth. Crown already broke. I understand average will last around 5 – 10 decades, and I understand every situation is different. I believe this could've been totally avoided rather than rushing it. Had my first appointment here last week. I must say that Dr. B and her team made the usual dreaded visit to the dentist office not a bad experience at all. Each person I encountered here was very friendly! When asked, they didn’t hesitate to explain what they were doing and the reasons behind it. I’ve moved a lot and as a result have had many dentists. The vast majority just clean your mouth/fill a cavity and say “see you in 6 months”. But not Dr. B. You can tell she cares not only about the health of your teeth and gums currently, but also how healthy they will be years down the line and recommends things you can do now to prevent future problems. I took my elderly mother to Katy Trail Dental and everyone was wonderful. The staff was kind, accommodating, and helpful. They treated my mother like a family member. I was so thankful. Further, Dr. Bahramnejad was excellent. Certainly, she was knowledgeable. But she also genuinely cared for my mother’s health and wellbeing. She carefully and slowly explained her findings and recommendations. She also took extra time to answer all of our questions. I was impressed with both her professionalism and bedside manner. NEW OWNER – AND DENTIST Referred by a friend (Dr Nemovi -no longer here). I specifically asked if they were a preferred provider with my insurance. The answer was yes. Scheduled a cleaning and a crown after that. Before the crown, I realized they were not in-network. I called before the appt for the crown and was told, "We are being paid as if we're in-network because we are in the process of becoming a preferred provider." I reiterated what was said and told, " Yes that is correct. Your crown will be processed as in-network." After the crown, the claim was not paid as in NETWORK. When I questioned the claim in March, it took over a month and multiple contacts to get a straight answer. Based on the original info, I was owed $182.70 Nona basically said they will do me a favor and not charge me the additional $373.30 because it was an out-of-network claim. She even tried to convince me that I was wrong and that the claim was paid as in-network, UNTIL I called insurance and confirmed it was paid out of network, I still had benefits left. The short of it is this, DONT Trust DENTAL RESORT. They lied, they delayed and they refuse to give me the $182.70 that they owe me based on an in-network procedure. I believe this practice was bought out because the Dr that was suggested to me is no longer there. New DR, new staff, new rules. I would give this dental office more that 5 stars if I could. I had a great experience from the friendly front staff to dental assistants to Dr. Nemovi himself. I needed a tooth extractions followed by an implant. Dr. Nemovi took great amount of time to explain the plan step by step and answer all my questions. My procedure went really smooth and I didn’t really experience any great amount of pain or discomfort because his style was definitely different from my previous dental experiences. He used a different technique to numb my tooth and I didn’t feel anything at all. You could tell that their patients love them with just the way they were greeted and treated. I've been coming here for 2+ years now. Mint is corporate dentistry its not the personal touch per say that you get if you have ever been to family dentistry. With all that said they do a good job. I have never felt pressured into having work done that might be questionable. In all instances I felt like everyone I dealt with had my best interest at heart. My only gripe has been is that treated like I was poor, signing away all my benefits. I had to have a deep cleaning rather than a regular cleaning and I was like fine $100 isn't going to change my life. Small cost for trying to keep my teeth in the long run. The front desk person had to come back and have me sign like 3 things before proceeding to cleaning and this was after several visits and with insurance. I had no insurance on my first visit and spent like $750 for x-rays, cleaning, etc. I get the caution but word of advice come up with a better KYC process.Brian C

Ok I'm no dentist. However, I felt like I was being upsold. According to my dentist, I don't have any cavities. According to my dentist I don't need a deep cleaning. So I don't know who is right. I do know that I take care of my teeth as I have my entire life. They said I need deep cleaning because of heavy tartar build up…. Correct me if I'm wrong but hot and cold drinks should hurt if I had heavy tartar build up. I'm eating a giant otter pop as I write this lol. Staff was very friendly, so was Doctor Z. However it feels like a commission based place where you are constantly trying to be sold something. I think I'll stick to my old non corporate dentist. Like I said friendly staff but I didn't feel the trust end of it. How do I have cavities that won't show up on x-ray? It was a bit fishy.Alp Aydar

This place is the best dental place you can come by. Everybody is so gentle and they walk you through everything before doing anything. Mint dentistry makes you feel so relaxed. Dental appointments are usually appointments I dread but coming here it’s actually fun. They offer Netflix, Hulu, and Pandora which I thought was unusual but awesome. So now I can catch up on shows that I missed while getting my teeth cleaned. 10/10 would recommend. I can’t wait to bring my family here. You should come too and ask for Tomasa and Judy as your assistant and hygienist, they are the sweetest and so knowledgeable. I trust them with my teeth!Elizabeth Flores

The only reason I placed 2 stars is because the dean and the man who enrolled us was great. But other than that,the reviews for this school is spot on. They care only about money. After financial aid,I was told I still needed to pay 221.00 a month or my daughter would be kicked out. The lady who assisted with FA couldn't care less about anyone who goes to this school. And don't have colored hair either,they'll make you change it. When my daughter could not log in to the online course,no one bothered to help or contact us. I had my daughter withdraw. 18,000 dollars and not even a call back. So I'd shop around for a school and make sure its best for you. This one tho,was not it.Katt T

When researching schools and you read “for-profit” as Concordes main description- believe it. I was accepted into the dental hygiene program and was asked to put a down payment of an amount that was almost 5x my rent. I was considered an “independent student.” (no financial help from family) As soon as I communicated the amount was not doable the school redacted my acceptance and gave my spot to someone else… so before you put all your time, money, and effort into this school-don’t. I cannot speak for the program itself and I’ve heard nothing but great things about the instructor… but at the end of the day that doesn’t matter if Concorde is “for-profit” and not for education.Emilee Gestes

Please do not go to this school. The instructors are very disrespectful and do not teach anything. The purpose is to fail you so that you can pay again since you have to retake the whole semester. The first term had a 30 students class and it went down to like 12 of us. This term everyone is failing so far because the term 2 teacher is random and does not go by the book.There are around 5 students in term 5 which is the last term and most of them have repeated at least one term. I am looking into other programs. Stay away, it is easy to get into the program, but you won't learn anything and NCLEX passing rates are low according to the instructors.Kukita Arocha

Dr. Bill and his staff have been nothing short of incredible ever since I started seeing them in 2017. Even though I had to put off dental care for about 3 years due to financial restraints, and I was quite nervous about coming back after so much time had passed, I came back for a visit today and was welcomed back with so much warmth and care. My whole visit was wonderful from start to finish. Donna and Tamara at the front desk are the sweetest women. They were so helpful and thorough when covering all of the finances and made sure I wasn’t confused about anything. My dental hygienist, Ayah, was comforting, competent, and made my teeth look spectacular. Dr. Bill answered all of the questions I had with honesty and integrity. He is not one of those dentists that tries to sell you on products or push you into procedures that you don’t really need. I’ve never trusted a dentist more than him. Today I had my first visit at Whitley Family Dental and it was amazing! I haven’t had a dentist in the Dallas area since I moved here a couple of years ago, and was nervous about the whole experience of finding someone new. The staff was welcoming and courteous. Dr. Bill was very professional and listened to my concerns. They make you feel right at home. Ayah, my dental hygienist, has hands like an angel. She was so gentle, yet firm. I have a small mouth and usually taking x-rays hurts a lot. Adrienne took my x-rays and was very gentle. She used a child-sized x-ray. That detail made all the difference in the world. My first time here to a dentist I have known for many, many years. Not sure why I waited so long! This was an awesome experience if you can say that about a dental visit. This is the bestttt dentist office I’ve ever been to! Jordana is my dentist and she is amazing. She saved my teeth when other dentists wanted to pull them & give me implants. Candi is my hygienist and I cannot recommend her enough. My teeth are the healthiest, cleanest and whitest they have ever been. Payment is also super easy. I visited this office seeking a second opinion for my gum recession and finally have a clear understanding of what my options are.
