To be completely honest, she is one of the main reasons I want to attend Plaza. I have never seen a program/admissions assistant so eager to assistant you in making your career goals become reality. She has guided me throughout my entire admission’s journey, and will no doubt continue to help me progress through school. I visited as a new patient for a student dentist. It’s a new building with new equipment and most importantly clean environment. Everything takes much longer for a full overview of me teeth since she’s a student being examined. It’s nothing like having a normal dentist visit. She checked my blood pressure, pulse, even sited a small mole on my neck and gave me skin awareness and skin cancer advice. Then neck and jaw was checked and each tooth’s gum is measured and then x-rays! This was all done under the general supervision of professional and thorough Senior Dentist. Then time was up! I have visit again another day to finish with further study of each tooth, brushing technique and scaling I hope at the end!Farnoosh Famouri-Lee

Starting in the Career Pathways Program, I worked my way up to earning a high GPA with the help of my amazing professors, peers, and faculty staff members. Additionally, participating in Student Life activities gave me the push to further my education in the Associates AND Bachelor's program for Business Administration & Management. Plaza College became a second home for me. I earned an amazing step as becoming a member and officer in the English honor society, Sigma Kappa Delta. I've been attending FCC since summer of 2016 and will graduate, god willing, this spring 2019. Full time, year round, no breaks. Although parking requires at least an hour grace period, I believe the over all experience is what you make it. I've come across rude people maybe having a bad day and I've had instructors I could not relate to. Its all very frustrating. Its sad to say the success rate at this college is 17%. But, then again this is an adult school. Nobodies going to call your house when your absent or hold a parent-teacher conference when your not doing your work. I am working on a Human Service degree and have enjoyed the ups and downs of my classes. The load was a little heavier in a few and I had to buckle down and utilize the tutorial, ETC, PASS, Computer lab and all other resources available. In all the those places I found the staff and student help extremely eager to be of service. The assistance was much appreciated. I am not speaking for this business itself, merely the college district's education quality. I have taken classes at Fresno, Clovis, and Reedley Community College, and I have had an absolutely deplorable time. I don't feel like I'm getting anything from the classes; I don't feel the staff is prepared to teach online, if at all. If you are going to teach college-level English, you should not make punctuation and grammatical errors consistently. If you are teaching a law class, you should not do it from inherent bias and perspective. If you are conducting an online course, you should not have to hold up a piece of paper because you don't know how to make a slide. It is said that Fresno City College is the first Community College in California. Registration to classes is simple and online, and they offer all kind of classes. My Business Administration Management class was amazing, I learned so much and I am carrying it with everywhere I go. Some people do not like it and so do. My instructor was so brilliant and I am so proud and thankful for him. With his support and all of SJVC workers, instructors, and all around everyone, I was able to get threw this pandemic we are still having and graduate with a 4.0 and being on the deans list. I am thankful for you all. Anyone who wants to go to college for Business or just in general, go to SJVC. They got you covered and they support your every step and decision. I don’t even know where to begin with this place. First of all if you are considering going here you need to run in the opposite direction. I moved here from out of state and gave this institution 10,000 of my dollars just to be disrespected and ridiculed by the faculty and staff. My high school teachers were more competent and respectful than anyone here. The school is run down and smells like mildew other than the main building they use to advertise this place. I did not learn one single thing the entire time I was here and let it be known that I am now graduating to be a medical professional so I was not the problem. Be careful if using MYCAA to pay for classes, regardless of whether or not you submit on your end on time. If the school doesn't submit it on time on their end (as in my case) you'll receive a dozen and a half reminders that tuition is due (the school doesn't handle MYCAA and the funds get sent to the student to then pass on to the school and if it's not paid by "x" date at "x" time classes are dropped. Had I of known this, I would have applied for schooling elsewhere. Waste of time. Not everyone wants or needs to use FAFSA………Courtney Myszewski

First off, it is an institute of technology, not a university. NASA applications say "Technology institute graduates need not apply." NASA isn't alone in this. I had 5 different advisors by the end of my 1st month. No one could be bothered. My final advisor was the department chair, and when he "helped" me sign up for 3 classes, 1 was class was held in Washington, and another class wasn't even scheduled for that term, so I was left with one class that term. The next term, like the term before, I needed a unique password to register for classes. Only problem was the only person who could give me the password, my advisor, was on vacation. I had to talk with his superiors to get him to reply to my email for the password. When he replied, he had an attitude. This kind of think happened in so many different ways, I just washed my hands of this school. It took them 3 terms just to get me my student ID card. Anytime I had a academic, not scholastic, question, it usually takes about 2 hours of being bounced around from building to building, often the same buildings, having to talk to the same people, because no one can be bothered. Eventually after the 3rd time of me coming back to someone to ask the same question, I'll get a big sigh and finally an answer.Tim DuDD

OIT is a great school of Engineering. Pros 1- Average students in the class between 10 to 25, so that is very good to ask and participate as well as most of the professors can easily recognize each student. 2- Reasonable professors. 3- OIT located in Klamath City which is small and cheap town. 4- Easy to get high grade if you do all your HW, NO absent , more participation. 5 – Library stuff is very helpful. 6- Safe and good place to study in. 7- US News classified Oregon Tech as one of the best five universities. Cons: 1- Library hours are very terrible. 2- Klamath City is not active city, after 7 pm every one dies. 3- There is nothing to do if you have free time except outdoor activities. 4- Heath Center is really wasteful.Mohammed Asiri

I've worked at four public universities across the country, and Oregon Tech has the most engaged and dedicated faculty and staff I've ever encountered. Students benefit from small class sizes and many opportunities for hands-on applied learning. Students I assist in Career Services are focused, dedicated and mature. The administration is proud of being career-focused but also recognizes the benefits of teaching soft skills. Oregon Tech is also increasing its emphasis on providing students with experiences that will translate to exceptional workplace skills, like working on cross functional student team projects. (For reference, I am a first-generation college student, have a learning disability, and a physical disability.) TMCC sets students up for success. I have had a very positive experience both as a student and working for the school. I will be finishing a dual-degree sooner than expected. Most of the professors are great, and everyone in the humanities department is amazing. Most of the staff is very professional and able to well-inform students of what classes to take and what services may benefit them. On top of this, the school also offers free tutoring and mental health services. As a first-generation college student, I feel TMCC has helped me at every step of the way to succeed. With only 8 classes left to take, I still have a cumulative GPA of 4.0 despite doing relatively poorly in high school. As long as you put in your best effort, teachers will do everything possible to help you succeed. If you do not put any effort in and expect a handout, then it will be extremely difficult to succeed. If you attend this school make sure to take advantage of any and all resources as well as putting in your own effort… you will not regret it. I recommend TMCC to anyone and everyone.Rove Plant Eater

This is a tremendous school with a caring and compassionate staff and faculty. This school has afforded me so many opportunities that I wouldn't have otherwise received without them. When I got to Reno, I was homeless. I arrived with two suitcases and less than $100 in the bank. I was staying with a friend and making very little money. I found myself in a situation where I worked hard labor job after hard labor job, trapped in a vicious cycle of injury and poverty and no clear view of how to exit my situation. In the month of December 2014, I walked into the offices at TMCC. In less than a year, I have found employment, I'm less than a year from finishing my degree and I am a Dean's list student. I had it in my head that I wanted to succeed and I was fortunate that this school wanted to help me to do exactly that. The teachers were compassionate and patient. The staff was courteous and helpful. I owe a great deal to this school because it has taught me more than academics. It taught me to be a better person.Brandon Canty

Don't listen to the bad reviews, everybody has a different experience and different perceptions. Ive taken at least 20+ classes over 12 years, I love tmcc. It's a good community college in every way. I attended here on and off from 1999-2012. I learned how to teach step aerobics from the greatest fitness instructor imo Verna Lewis. I took many general ed classes as well as a few paralegal courses and a ton of fitness classes as well. The campus is beautiful, many bathrooms with free sanitary napkins if needed, the vending machines are reasonably priced. The classes are very fair priced. It's a wonderful school and a WAY better option then a vocational school. eg: Realtor school online vocational school $600+, Tmcc Realtor program $50-100.Rachela Reno Rocks

If you are a Veteran and want to attend this school I recommend you don't. I personally have had multiple issues with communication with the school as well as obtaining an appointment with their one VA counselor. My appointment was made a month and a half out mainly because that specific date was the only day that would work for me. I was suppose to walk in at 4 pm to see the counselor. Mind you I called earlier that day to confirm my appointment, even received an email notification confirming my appointment. They told me they accidentally double booked, but to come in anyways and they will just squeeze me in. Came in at 350 PM checked in the front desk looked confused, I explained the situation and I didn't get seen until 5:45 PM I had a final for speech class at 6 PM. If you decide to take online classes be careful you could end up like me log in and check the course the first day of the semester in this case July 19th 2017 at 8:55 AM and see that there are no notifications or assignments post yet. Log in that Friday still having issues to find out you got dropped that Wednesday for not being active in the course. I logged in that Monday to do the Class work knowing that my other class kept me busy tues, wed, thurs. All just to find out that your email was jacked because of the conversion they did in spring, therefore getting locked from your account. I do not recommend this school or the school district it has only been a constant uphill battle for me and to many stressful occurrences. Attend a Cal State or Cal University.Cody

I have been trying to see a counselor, and so far I have come to the counseling department more than five times. Anytime I went there, they said that there are a lot of students so go come back tomorrow at 8:00 am. When I went there at 8:00 am the next day, they said oh we don't do walk ins, you can go today, but for tomorrow give us a call to confirm if there is any counselor available. I did call them the day before coming they said yes come around 8:00 am you will for sure see a counselor, I got there at 8:00 am, but unfortunately again they said that there are a lot of students and they only have one counselor. I don't know what game do they play with students, I missed going to work for 3 days, and it seems that I might not be able to take any classes this summer just because of not being able to see a counselor. I request the authorities of this nice college to pay attention to this problem, and find some possible ways of solution since the students need to have updated Educationan Plans.Tawfiq Sediqi

This college is a freaking mess and very unorganized!!!! Fist visit, they told me counseling was open until 4:30pm. Got there at 3:34pm and said they stop at 3pm. They told me to come back tomorrow and they will do counseling till 4pm. I got early from work the nex day, and when I get to the counseling office, they said they are not doing counseling today! They tell me to come back tomorrow. They couldn't take appointments because they were too busy that week. I come back the next day, my job let me get off early again, when I get to the counseling they tell me their system is down! They tell me to come back on Saturday for the event. They tell me counseling and student services will be open. I'm here at the counseling at 10am, they freaking tell me no counselors today, they are only taking picture for IDS !!!! The first time I come to Taft College for a first time college tour with my mom and dad. I really love it because everything is over me then far away. It was really great meeting Ms Victoria Wang for the first time when I come for my first ever tour with Taft College. I did my first ever a College interview with 4 Committee people they we talking to me. I am very nervous of about my second interview for Taft College how will it go like last time interview. I praying and crossing my finger they I will Accepted to Taft College on August 2020 or August 2021 but it really most likely will be August 2021 because of the Novel Covid 19. Hopefully that’s an impact new students coming in so students can be able to move in without no problems and have to be send back home. I am really sad they I wasn’t able to go to Taft College just for my first time interview with the Committee from Taft College but it was completely closed Only for administrators to be able to get Pay hours. *When I left Taft College on the way home I was really ready to move in but I was too early because I have to do the full application and send in the mail to Taft College to go over it and let me know if I am accepted to have my 1st interview with the Committee from Taft College I broken down in tears because I was super hard talking of about it without crying more and more. *I was really helpful to do a trial run on Zoom for Ms Jessica White Replace Ms Victoria Wang because she is no longer working I have a retired from Taft College but I didn’t meet her in person just on Zoom I want like to meet her face to face one day after I’m accepted as a college student at Taft College 🙂SweetSydney25

I've enjoyed my experiences with Taft College. The Advisor Ms. Casablanca is such a sweet helpful individual,I don't feel rushed when we met, and said i could reach out to her via email anytime I had questions-how awesome is that? I can call the counseling office and get quick questions answered right away, and I feel like me and the college share the same goals for myself and graduation. They send email notifications for upcoming dates and offers explanations for decisions made (for example, the priority registration email explained how it is calculated and how the groups are divided up). I've only taken online classes, but all the teachers Ive had so far have been very open to questions and seem to have good attitudes. The also offer career study groups and business admin meeting groups, and they continue to grow in possibilities. With BC I always felt like I was just another body getting pushed through all the processes, with my paper always getting lost, and constantly being required to see the counselor for the smallest questions. With Taft I've felt more like a priority, and I feel more organized and confident in the classes I take towards my degree.Alejandra Durand

The court reporting program is horrible. It is not even held at Taft or regulated by Taft. NONE of the staff are licensed court reporters or have ever held a license. They are not knowledgeable in the field. They are highly unorganized and unprofessional. The program director and local court reporters claim this is one of the best programs in the nation. That is completely false and can be verified through the California Court Reporter’s Association website. This school has the lowest retention and pass rate in California.K. Faraday

I live near this college and me and my wife and kids love to take walks threw it. It's so beautiful and peaceful. Also you have campus police always around so you feel safe at all times. I applied 7/23 and never received an email containing my student I’d. And yes I checked my junk mail. I emailed admissions per my acceptance email after not receiving my student id after 5 business days. Received an automated email saying someone would respond within 48 hours. NOTHING. Tried their “virtual drop in counseling’ and the page is not accessible. Called the college on a Thursday and get a beeping tone. Totally unprofessional. I’m guess the college is closed? Or they don’t have the tools to properly run a college? This is my WORST experience enrolling in a college ever!!!Brooke Bennett

I love Cypress College, I've almost finished my GE and I've only had one teacher that wasnt so great. The campus is safe and beautiful. The counselors are very nice and helpful. They have a financial aid office that is also very nice and helpful. I plan on transferring from Cypress College and go to Biola. So far, my experience has been great. Today, there was free lunch that was given out! I feel that Cypress College does it's best to serve their student thoroughly.Joy Hong

Manor College is a really great place to get started with many, many different programs to get your foot in to the door and get wonderful experiences in any field you are thinking about going into. Its a smaller campus, so you get to know people a lot faster. Classes are a wonderful size so you don't feel crowded, and it makes getting to know your teacher on a more professional and personal scale. The staff at Manor are the most wonderful and helpful people you will ever meet, they actually get to know you and make sure you are staying on track of all of your assignments, and staying on track with courses so that you graduate on time. Manor has a wonderful basketball and track team, along with many other programs such as Student Senate and CAB (campus activity board), which I joined my first semester and plan on joining again. They have many, many different activities that they plan throughout the school year to make sure everyone is staying involved and getting to know other students and make new friends. They are very inclusive with many different types of people and talk about many different types of religion and ethics so that everyone gets a chance to feel special and then the other students stay more informed about other people lifestyles. Our president, President Peri is the most wonderful man you will ever meet and always make sure you are doing well, and getting to stressed and when ever you see him he makes time to just catch up with everyone and get feedback about everyones lives and classes. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience at Manor College. The beautiful campus hosts the bright eyed individuals seeking to further their education and the dedicated faculty and staff do their best to provide an excellent experience for all students. The small class sizes foster strong connections in and out of the classroom, and almost everyone gets to know you by name. One would think that a relatively small school wouldn't be able to pull in talented professors and bright students, but all of my professors during my time here have many experiences and are amazing at what they do. The campus life office is dedicated to everything that happens outside of the classroom, and they have so many events for students, some of which I have been directly involved with, and you can tell that everyone deeply cares about what they do here. Manor is going to grow exponentially in the future, with a fantastic new President in Jonathan Peri, a man with a vision so great and connections so deep that Manor will most likely become not just the premier two year catholic college, but one of the premier four year catholic colleges. My son graduated from Manor College a couple of years ago. It was a very positive experience for him. He has ADD & Aspergers Autism; he didn’t want to tell the faculty so that he was treated the same as any other college student. The staff here is very easy for a student to talk to & gave my son any help he asked for. My son graduated with honors with his associate degree in accounting. For a small community college it is wonderful. Beautiful campus with a creek running behind the dorms & has resident Canadian geese which wander freely on the campus. It is located in the suburbs outside of the Philadelphia area. The college is affiliated with many other colleges & recently has started to offer bachelors degree programs besides their associate degree programs. They are known best for their Vet Tech program & their dental programs. They have their own farm & community dental center which are great for the students practical experiences.Evelyn

I transferred here because it offered a program I wanted to take. The first time, the class was canceled due to there being not enough sign ups. Fine. That was Spring and now we’re in the Fall semester. Once again, the class was canceled. It was canceled 1 week before the 2nd session was to start. I now only have 2 classes (a 3rd one was dropped because it overlapped the class that was eventually canceled). My teacher is cool so, no complaints. My online class…. it takes my teacher 2-3 weeks just to grade your work. I’ve done online classes at other schools and was graded within the week. I’m going back to my previous school. I chose this college because it was ranked as one of the top ten community colleges in California for online courses. Diversity is great, many certificates and degrees offered, and the counselors I’ve spoke with over the phone were polite and helpful. They wait until more than a month into the semester to process student loans – and the form should specify that it’s for the year. I filled it out thinking it was only for the semester. No return emails from financial aid in the matter. Overall I would recommend WLAC, but their admissions and financial aid offices need to work on responding to students.Jason G

The school was okay. The admission office is terrible. I enjoyed the professors they have great ones. Working here was bad there’s nepotism and favoritism allowed. The staff isn’t the nicest I think student should be respected a bit more and heard. As an employee here I know I tried to help as many students sincerely. The process needs to be more efficient. I really like the flexibility of the online courses, the affordability and the variety of degree options they have. My advisors and teachers have been very great but communicating with the other staff at this school is very frustrating. The employees in the financial aid department are very rude and condescending and they hang up on you abruptly whenever they get frustrated with you. The registar’s office is by far the WORST. Very nasty employees in that department who talk down to you and treat you like a child. They seem to forget they work for a college, not an elementary school. One spent 10 minutes arguing on the phone with me just because I wanted my new advisor’s phone number and email. The “career counselors” offer no type of help or advice and they just tell you to “google it” whenever you have a basic question about a certain major. They are also very judgmental if you express a desire to finish with only an associates degree and not transfer to a 4 year, not considering not everyone has the financial means to do so. The call center employees are very disrespectful and seem like they want to find reasons to argue with callers. There are also huge issues with miscommunication at this school and everyone seems to have different answers about certain topics which causes a lot of errors. Certain departments are also not great about contacting back even after leaving numerous voicemails/emails. Overall I like the school itself but they need to either retrain the employees on basic respect and customer service or they need to hire new ones.Resident Anon

The teachers here are all outstanding and they make you feel like they want you to succeed. I have taken College Algebra, Biology and Spanish in the classroom and the instructors were all topnotch. There is also additional help available to students in the free math lab and writing centers as well as Spanish tutoring. The online classes are not that confusing but you do need to pay attention because sometimes you are required to take classes through third-party online textbooks via the access codes. The only problems I had were with transferring credits to the school and getting contradictory information from the financial aid office on one occasion. I do wish the school did a better job with advising students but I understand the logistics issues. Everyone at the hub is friendly and helpful! Use them they are a great resource. To all the people that left negative reviews, I would say "you get out what you put in". This is college and you get treated like an adult.Linda Brady

This college has made a terrible impression. They got me admitted as a transfer student, and I have been preparing for the Fall session online, but to appear in person, and I just found out I missed the registration deadlines because student advising never got back to me. I took the new student orientation and the professor, just skimmed through all the info. There wasn't time for questions, and she cut it short by 30 minutes. It didn't even explain how to register online. I had been in communication and prepared for this session but didn't understand how to register so all the classes I had 'added to my schedule' weren't actually registered, and no one followed up with my questions. I thought I was registered, and even as I try to register now after the fact, it still says I need student advising which no one ever got back to be except for an email to say I already had everything set up. From the first day I came in to visit the school until I graduated, everybody on campus was fantastic. Any time I needed help or was struggling, there was always somebody to help point you in the right direction. Everybody I have come into contact with has been extremely helpful. Throughout your program, you will remain in contact with a success coach, for me this was Mr. Hollis. Your success coach will reach out and contact you just to check up on how you're doing and see if there is anything that they can help with. Coming from a 4 year institution, I did not the advantage of a success coach and this adds a level of accountability which helps you to succeed. I have never met more down to earth individuals who truly care about helping you to succeed.Zachary Baker

I just finished one of Concorde’s many medical programs. My admissions advisor was Mr. Todd Hollis, although I believe he works primarily in the business office now, he was a great first impression as to the kind of people Concorde has working for them to help the students succeed. Mr. Hollis answered any and all of the questions I had. He walked me through the step by step application process over the phone as I was completely things on my computer at home. During my time as a Concorde student, Mr. Hollis would always stop and ask me how things we going and always reiterate that he was there to help. All I can say is this school alone was absolutely amazing, but I couldn't start or get through my certification without the help of Mr. Todd Hollis. I really enjoyed the MA program and I learned so much. Something that I really appreciated about the school is that we had ALL the resources we need for certification studying–and all of the professors are extremely knowledgeable about their fields and gave plenty of tips and tricks for how to maximize your potential in the field. The biggest reason I'm sticking to four stars is that I had a pretty bad experience with one of my professors and I don't agree with some of the attendance procedures–having no absences excused unless the school cancels classes isn't reflective of an individual student's situation (I know this first-hand), but all-in-all, it's a nine month program, and the amount you learn and experience completely outweighs the poor aspects.Kendall Eley

I can only speak about my experiences here at Pima but I can honestly say it’s been life changing for me. I’ve completed my Registered Dental assistant program and I’m currently half way through my Radiology program and all I can say is that I’ve had nothing but good instructors in both programs. They really push you towards succeeding and the classes are well developed for you to learn. The prices are a little over the top but seeing how it’s a institute it’s expected. Overall I’ve really appreciated everything Pima has done for me, I really recommend it to anybody who wants to kickstart their medical career!Isaac Razo

I am currently on the MA program, and it has been a pretty good experience. I am able to have time to study and also work and balance everything else with it. The team of this school is very professional and really care about their students, they are always willing to help you if you need help from them. I really like that they even have tutoring to help you if you struggling in a class. The career services team is an amazing team who works with you to find the right fit for you to do your externship, so you can be successful on this new path that you have chosen.Massiel Martinez

Two years ago I had the good insight of enrolling in Concorde's PTA program. The program is run by knowledgeable Physical Therapists invested in quality education (Mary, Sam, Laura, Kelly, Dennis). They provided me with the necessary tools to start a new career and enter the work force feeling competent with my skills. The school has a department dedicated to assist graduates find a job, Alvy has personally helped me with this, he even rendered a mock interview so that I would show up to a possible employer as a strong and coherent candidate. Because the program is so well organized (from prerequisites to clinical rotations and even when/how to signing up for your board test!) it is easier to have a balance school/personal life. And when you approach the school, Karl, the security officer at the entrance, is the most welcoming and kind person that will ever open a door for you.Yawi Griffini

My experience at Concorde has truly been astounding. I joined the Medical Assistant program and my teacher Ms Tameka was nothing short of a great instructor. She was very patient, compassionate and dedicated to ensuring that every student learned even if it meant staying late or adapting the way she presented materials.The Financial staff Eva and Peetee were very efficient in handling my paperwork so that I could dedicate my focus to studying and be successful. Upon completion my graduate employment specialist Rocky was a true rockstar. I had no faith in using their services but this guy was very helpful in making sure my resume was top notch and that I was interview ready and confident enough to land jobs and ask for the money I deserved. I attended Concorde Career College for the Medical Assistant Program and after completing, I am now a graduate!. After completing my externship, Rocky Ramirez who is our graduate employment specialist assisted me with my resume and employment opportunities. Not only was Rocky very helpful but he goes above and beyond on ensuring that his students are fully prepared for the next step. He was always available when I needed his help, always checking in to see how things are going. You can definitely count on him for anything. Thanks to rocky, I am now employed! My instructor Ms. Brown has been the best leader and teacher I’ve ever experienced. She is always willing to help and answer questions at any time. She is patient, kind, understanding and overall a pleasant individual to be around. She makes everyone feel welcomed and comfortable regardless of their situations which shows she truly cares. I’m in the Concorde Career Program, my admissions coordinator Mr. Greg Stewart was always on top of things, easy to get ahold of and always professional. He made the admissions process such a breeze to gather through. The program is definitely challenging but so worth it. I recently just graduated from the ST program. My director Mrs.Harris was very supportive and very helpful. My lecture teacher Mr.Smith was awesome when it came time for certification she made sure if we didn’t understand something she would have private tutoring to make sure we understood. Very poor experience receiving record information for my hometown dentist following a root canal. I was told wonderful things about the college and was very disappointed in the staff working behind the desk and with paperwork. I’ve called 3 times to kindly ask them fax over X-Rays within the last month. I have signed release forms stating they can release that information to my current dentist so that I can get a cap put on said tooth and have had no response. I got an infection following my root canal and called to ask what steps to take in order to take care of the infected root canal as I was nearly 25 weeks pregnant when it was preformed. No call was ever returned when I left my message. I ended up in the emergency room here in my hometown the following night due to excruciating pain in my jaw. Simply said, the work they do on teeth is great. The infection was no big deal, and took care of itself after being issued a round of antibiotics from the ER staff. I do recommend their students and think it’s a wonderful program. However staff and people taking care of records and returning calls is either very understaffed or lazy. I am very displeased with the lack of communication I have received.Mackenzie Tyler

Everyone should be informed that the college of dentistry will not prescribe pain pills after having twelve teeth pulled at once. And they will not tell you this until you ask for them. The information given is not consistent from one student to the next. My husband had twelve teeth pulled and spent thousands of dollars and he was told to take ibuprofen and Tylenol. So if you prefer barbaric dentistry and plenty of pain then go ahead and make that appt otherwise I recommend you spend the extra money and go to actual professionals. And Vicki, the client care rep, doesn’t really care that you are paying the school thousands of dollars she will still speak to you like a child. I believe we are suppose to be patients(clients). You should appreciate the priveledge of people allowing you to use them as guinea pigs. And not treat people like they are low income peasants. It might not be as expensive as a professional but we are still spending thousands of dollars. This just confirms what I’ve always thought of dentists. I’ll never go to another one. I hope this isn’t the way your school is teaching students to treat their patients.Georgia Lee

I got referred from Blustem for a root canal. Previous to that, I got referred from Admire and was told by Admire that UNL would call me back for an appointment. Three weeks later, they still didn't call me back, so I called them. They never called back. Today I called as Bluestem made me a new referral and was told that I was dismissed from the dental college for not keeping and making an appointment! whay6?! They told me I had an appointment in September that I missed. That is false. I was nwver contacted aboyt an appointment!1 Ugh. At this point I will probably go somewhere else and just get my @3!$ tooth removed.Shannon Hayes

yesterday 7/27/2020 I officially graduated from Concorde college (MA PROGRAM) and all I can say is if you’re looking for a school to help you learn about the medical field Concorde is it. They have great teachers willing to help you as much as possible. They have a great computer lab, always open to help! The school is very well kept and cleaned! Staff also does little events here and there just to show appreciation to the students which I loved. The staff here are AMAZING! 2 staff I would really like to shout out are ARIANA HERTZ & MONICA CARLOS! Both of these woman helped me so much and went out their way to make sure i was doing great at Concorde. Security GEORGE was also such a great staff, he always would help as much as he can. But overall all staff is great, super helpful and super friendly. I felt so welcomed at Concorde as soon as I got there! So glad I came to this school because not only did I get an education but I made some wonderful friends here too. I LOVE CONCORDE💙! And highly recommend it to anyone looking for a school to be in the medical field.Isabel Rosas

This review is overdue. But I wanted to wait until I had been working in my field a couple of years to review. I graduated in 2019 with my LVN, and I was able to obtain my license in January 2020. I was well prepared. Passed my nclex on the first try. But I studied and I followed the direction the instructors and staff recommended to get there. Sometimes it felt like they were dragging us through the ringer, when it came to assignments, tests, clinical etc. But it was well worth it. I started my job confident in all of the basic LVN skills. Vital signs, GT, wound care, interpersonal relationships etc. This school taught me so much about myself. If you are considering a career change; or a jump start to your career. I highly recommend. But don’t go here thinking it will be easy. You WILL have to put in the work. Also another tip, communication is key. If you don’t let the school know what’s going on, they won’t be able to help you.Chynna Hooper

Garden Grove Concorde is what you expect out of a school. I love this campus. I enrolled here in 2006 for the Respiratory Therapist program and graduated in 2008. During the program, they provided all the resources i needed to get through all my courses such as tutoring, 1 on 1 help, and most importantly the most friendliest, attentive staff from the front the front desk all the way to the top. i would like to mention someone who has help through my toughest times, Lynda Carlos. When i was having trouble with my application process she would go out of her way to help me. She was like this with every student and every one of my class mates love her. If anyone is out there looking for a school that actually cares about your future and education, I recommend this school.Ken Torres
