Review Summary
Overall, an okay community college experience so far from 2019 to 2022 (I took some summers off). The registration process for me was a nightmare. OpenCC upon some of the other processes were buggy, nonfunctional, or unclear. Despite this, I have to give them slack as when I was applying they were revamping their websites significantly. There's a mixed bag of good and bad staff. Some professors will be insanely rude, not understanding, and sometimes not even lecture properly on the topic at hand. Other professors will be really kind, understanding, and actively willing to work with you. Always look up the professor on Rate My Professor!!! Eservices, Canvas, and Counseling are atrocious. Eservices has been buggy at times or down for multiple hours. Canvas is usually a decent online learning tool, but sometimes it can get buggy and is not always accessibility friendly (as seen by not having a dark mode for example). I recall a time when Canvas was down due to the host servers, which are owned by Amazon, were completely offline. Counseling is not always helpful in guiding you to where to go next, will sometimes not even answer calls nor emails, and can get really busy (even with the switch from the old building to the Welcome and Support Center). I suggest looking up some information yourself on ARCs website first before talking to counselors, such as course catalogs or what classes you might take for a specific associates degree. I wish that counseling would still give out PHYSICAL course catalogs, but it is what it is. Finance is usually okay for parking passes, but other services is like pulling teeth. Communication on what is going on campus varies from good to poor. An example of this is when the pandemic began around midterms and there was the report of two people being exposed to Covid on campus, which caused mass panic and multiple people just walking out of class. Parking can sometimes be an issue, so be prepared to walk a little bit. Also, you will need a parking pass from a kiosk or buy a parking pass permit for the semester. Bathrooms could use some work. I recall a time where after flushing the bathroom started to flood. Food choices were fairly solid. If you were going to Starbucks or Subway during lunch, lines would get long. Only food offered on campus now is either from the student store, the cafeteria, the Oak Cafe, or the few vending machines on campus. Off campus, there's quite a few food places around, such as Lis Mongolian BBQ, Chik Fil A, and In-N-Out. The bookstore has been unorganized in the past, but is relatively chilled back and clean nowadays. Be warned that some things will be overpriced, but that's normal for college. Also, don't be shocked if there's a hassle with ordered books or book returns for refunds.Emily “Emma Anne” Branecki
It's almost like 90% of the people who work here will be rude over the phone and tell you to do everything online. They have messed up most of my paperwork, resulting in me having to resubmit residency forms, application forms, proof of ID. Somehow they put me as out-of-state which includes a 900% markup per credit. I went from expecting a $150 bill for a single class and ended up with a $1200 bill. No one wants to help sort it out. No one wants to answer the phone. The website is difficult to navigate. Honestly, I have had a single positive experience with one person in Admissions, and everyone else has been pushy, rude, dismissive, and argumentative. I am considering switching to literally any other school in the district. My partner attends SCC and it's laughable how smoothly they handled his transition back to school, compared to mine. Edit: it should also be noted that I had applied to ARC 4 times since 2013 and never received a welcome letter. I had emailed asking why I applied and was not told anything, or emailed, called – nothing. I got no response. Called last month because I was at my wits end and I am told "I can't give you a student ID number because your application was DENIED." I asked why and she told me she couldnt tell me. I asked for a supervisor who immediately told me "we have the wrong SSN for you, so none of your applications were accepted because it didn't watch our records." My CORRECT SSN, was being rejected. In 8 YEARS NO ONE EVER TOLD ME THIS. Just like they didn't tell me I was listed as out of state, despite submitting residency information multiple times. This school is a JOKEI Illyria
The college is great..,.. the bookstore however is 1 star at best. The school district sub-contracted it out and the new facilitators understand that they have a built in market from people having to use their financial aid or other assorted vouchers from various Govt entities and as a result they practice poor customer service utilizing people that are quite adept at rapid fire litanies telling you why none of the delays or shortages are their concern or problem. In fact in my opinion 90% of their employees that deal with the public are nothing more than thugs and bully's. They take no responsibility for faulty instructions in how to use the new book site with vouchers and tell you that they are "saaaawrrrrry" when they tell you they can't locate your books and give you a date when they will be in. Once again, in my opinion, they are nothing more than petty tyrants and bullies that should have their contract terminated for lack of accountability on their part. The layout has changed, alot of the const of the past couple of years is finished. Check updated maps of Campus on Google 😎Greg Spittler

Review Summary
They treat their students like garbage. Very judgmental staff and instructors. They tried to kick me out of the school because the vending machine ate my money and I tried to get the item. They lie and fabricate stories to drop you. I was signed up for a weekly zoom meeting that I wasn't told about and they told my instructors and staff that I never signed up and was rude over the phone. None of that happened. All I ever did was work hard and kept quiet but was told that I yelled in a classroom once?? They couldn't provide any proof. Weird and bizarre staff that goes behind your back yet smiles to your face. I commute over an hour to get here and work late night hours I don't deserve that treatment and am disappointed and ashamed of the staff here. Definitely wouldn't recommend to anyone unless you want to be discriminated against the whole time. Terrible experience Update: an instructor named Bruce Weaver told me to leave because I was wearing shorts and go home and change because it wasn't dress code. On a day that was 105 degrees. This guy is a complete joke and is a terrible instructorGoron Saki
My experience at Asher College has honestly been the most successful I've been at any level of education previously. The Instructors they assign to us and the way in which we are allowed to pursue knowledge, be it through reading or lectures or hands on trail and error, make not just learning the information possible, but guaranteed! I honestly believe this College has a system that adapts to its individual students and that combined with the motivational and friendly environments they create, make this the BEST and MOST SUCCESSFUL Education experience I've ever had! 10/10 would recommend!Cam2Koo
I never expected to learn so much before attending Asher College. The Instructors and administration are some of the greatest people I've ever met; no matter how busy they are, they will never let you feel unimportant. The instructors are knowledgeable and the administrative staff are so very helpful. I attended this school during a hard time and I felt nothing but care from all. They enjoy seeing you succeed and have an inspiring passion for teaching. THANK YOU for giving me such an enriching learning experience.Chris Agnew

Review Summary
yesterday 7/27/2020 I officially graduated from Concorde college (MA PROGRAM) and all I can say is if you’re looking for a school to help you learn about the medical field Concorde is it. They have great teachers willing to help you as much as possible. They have a great computer lab, always open to help! The school is very well kept and cleaned! Staff also does little events here and there just to show appreciation to the students which I loved. The staff here are AMAZING! 2 staff I would really like to shout out are ARIANA HERTZ & MONICA CARLOS! Both of these woman helped me so much and went out their way to make sure i was doing great at Concorde. Security GEORGE was also such a great staff, he always would help as much as he can. But overall all staff is great, super helpful and super friendly. I felt so welcomed at Concorde as soon as I got there! So glad I came to this school because not only did I get an education but I made some wonderful friends here too. I LOVE CONCORDE💙! And highly recommend it to anyone looking for a school to be in the medical field.Isabel Rosas
This review is overdue. But I wanted to wait until I had been working in my field a couple of years to review. I graduated in 2019 with my LVN, and I was able to obtain my license in January 2020. I was well prepared. Passed my nclex on the first try. But I studied and I followed the direction the instructors and staff recommended to get there. Sometimes it felt like they were dragging us through the ringer, when it came to assignments, tests, clinical etc. But it was well worth it. I started my job confident in all of the basic LVN skills. Vital signs, GT, wound care, interpersonal relationships etc. This school taught me so much about myself. If you are considering a career change; or a jump start to your career. I highly recommend. But don’t go here thinking it will be easy. You WILL have to put in the work. Also another tip, communication is key. If you don’t let the school know what’s going on, they won’t be able to help you.Chynna Hooper
Garden Grove Concorde is what you expect out of a school. I love this campus. I enrolled here in 2006 for the Respiratory Therapist program and graduated in 2008. During the program, they provided all the resources i needed to get through all my courses such as tutoring, 1 on 1 help, and most importantly the most friendliest, attentive staff from the front the front desk all the way to the top. i would like to mention someone who has help through my toughest times, Lynda Carlos. When i was having trouble with my application process she would go out of her way to help me. She was like this with every student and every one of my class mates love her. If anyone is out there looking for a school that actually cares about your future and education, I recommend this school.Ken Torres

I highly recommend this school to anyone who wants to become a DA or RDA! Everyone is so sweet and willing to help. The classes are so convenient and to the point. It went by so fast! Other students and I got a job before graduation, thats how amazing they are. I have referred a few friends here and they are also doing great in thier new dental offices which we owe to Noha for going out of her way to help us with! Now as a Dental Hygiene student, I am so happy I made the choice to come here as they taught me valuable skills that I will keep with me for my future trade. I still keep in touch, even after graduation, with Noha. She's such a gem of a person and has helped me and others tremendously. Do yourself a service and give them a call!Brianna Haro
Still over tha moon. I just passed my Registered Dental Assistant Exam. Thanks to Fullerton Dental Assistant School, Ms.Noha, Ms. Claudia, and the rest of the staff. They have been helpful all the way from the training, job placement assistance, completing requirements for exam. I am so grateful for all the help and support the school has given.Ruby Grino
Going to this school was an amazing experience for me! Noha and the instructors were awesome with enthusiasm and support. Noha was good on sending reminders and keeping in touch. I’ve had the opportunity to branch out of my comfort zone and make new friends. They’ve helped me grow as a person and to me they’re like family!Gen Lopez

Review Summary
Most definitely recommend Lush Dental Studio. My family and I were some of the very first patients here when it was only Jules and Dr. Khan holding it down, getting everything established. They are very accommodating to our family's schedule and variety of dental needs. It is incredibly clean and nicely decorated inside and they use all of the latest technology/equipment. X-rays, for example, are NOT the big clunky kind where you have to wear a lead vest while they step out of the room. At Lush, it's essentially a handheld device that does the imaging now and the pictures immediately pop-up on the screen in front of you. I appreciate that the staff make you aware of your dental situation complete with pictures or even a real-time live feed of a camera in your mouth and break down what is absolutely necessary versus what is optional. They even give you a breakdown of what it will cost you, if your insurance doesn't cover it completely. This is the third or fourth place we've been to in our journey to find the perfect dental office for our family and we most certainly found it at Lush Dental Studio!John C
I Really do not like going to the dentist (bad experience years ago like so many people) Lush Dental is by far the best dental office myself and family have been to. Dr K and the rest of the staff are compassionate, understanding, attentive, professional and go above and beyond for their patience. Jewls and the front desk staff are amazing. They are always smiling and caring. They are very upfront with pricing and working out a plan. If you are looking for a dental office that cares about you and your family this is it!!! Also, the pricing for services is much lower than you would expect. Which is a big bonus. But I would go here even if it wasn’t. They are that good.Angelique Reyes
I had an absolutely amazing experience here. It was my first time at this dental office, since I just moved into the area. All of the staff were so sweet and the dentist was even better! I was able to get a consultation, and my work done all in the same day. This was the most inexpensive dental visit I have ever had in my life if you live in the Natomas area or even if you don’t, please go here, you will not regret it! I will admit, I was intimidated that the price would be high because the office is so nice but it’s literally just an added benefit. Thank me later!Shyreese Davis

Review Summary
I attended UEI last year. My program was medical billing and insurance coding. I want to thank my professor Mr. Bruce, for not giving up on, always pushed me to succeed even when I felt I was asking questions in the class when I felt no question was too small or too big because he answered all my questions. I would also like to thank Ms. Ebony who was always there from a shoulder to cry on and a great role model to look up to she was the one that gave me the push and motivation that i Needed to present my assignment to my class assignment. I would also like to thank Ms. Belinda for the great opportunity to work as a student worker after losing my job as a preschool teacher. When I first started everyone was so nice and welcoming and I was happy that I was able to eat to meet everyone. I started my program in April 2021 and my program End on January 2022 . I feel like UEI is not the same anymore because it is harder to get in contact with anyone and you will get the run around for example while on my extern at UEI my grandmother was I admitted to the hospital my only wish was for her to see my walk across the stage Even if that meant my mom recording s so my grandma can see me walk across the stage Unfortunately with graduation day changing my grandmother passed away before my graduation. I am happy that i joined uei because i was able to meet new humble outstanding down to earth people . If you do decide to join uei do not loose you’re focus and let drama distract you from your main goal get your your education and leave.Cassandra Bonner
I decided to try this school, only went a couple times and during that time they let go off my teacher and when the tablet they gave me was messing up they said they would fix it and give it back. I had asked for help on how he was gonna continue online classes they were no help. So I decided this wasn’t the school for me. I called to drop the classes and they said that would be okay. Hadn’t heard from them in months til I randomly get a text welcoming to “my first day” and it wasn’t til I received an email asking me to pay my first payment did I call them and try to ask what was going on. Get some info on why this was happening. While on the phone with them they were very unprofessional, instead of just answering my questions and moving on they made it seem like I was a burden that I wanted to see what was going on. Got transferred to another woman, she tells me something then hangs up on me. I call back and even the main desk hangs up on me. Call again and sends me to a voicemail system like how unprofessional can you guys be! You guys are supposed to be about helping and making your students succeed but when it really comes down to it. That’s all lies. If I could give this school no stars I would.Briezzy Bby
Stay away from this school….ghetto, unprofessional, and a BIG waste of time and money. GO TO CARRINGTON or a different more professional school!! Half of the staff here has quit, they are extremely unorganized, school is overpriced for the education you are given, there were fights every week in the medical assistant program as if it were a middle school or even high school. Graduation was held in a parking lot because I assume they waited to long to book a venue, certification at the end is not a real degree its a thin piece of paper and looks extremely corny to the point my employer made fun of it. Not sure where this tuition money goes but for $19,900 I would expect better certification, a real graduation ceremony, and tools such as books, computers, programs that allow you to practice medical billing etc not a $72 kindle and books that can't leave the classroom. Also keep in mind compared to Carrington and MTI who only has 150 externship hours, UEI requires 250 hours for the medical billing department. Almost $20,000 I could have saved and got a real education through a real college.Czerina B.

I went through this academy back in 2019 for a dental assisting course and x-ray certification. Very thorough, scholarly-based course. It did a great job of preparing assistants to be ready to enter the workforce feeling confident in their knowledge and skills. Our course instructor Jessica was very knowledgeable and continues to support her students long after graduation. The course also provides you with resume writing and interview skills, as well as externship and job placement assistance.Sterling

This is the best Dental Assistant program and has the very best instructors. Her assistants Shannon, Rachel and Nicole are lovely. The program it's hands on and the class size is small so everyone gets all the help they could possibly need.I will always be thankful for choosing this school. I enjoyed my experience. The instructors made learning fun. Lindsey is very fun and animated. Rachel and Angel were a great addition as former students. They were very relatable and able to impart their knowledge and experience they acquired after completing this program. It is fast paced. As with everything in life, you reap what you sow so you really have to apply yourself and live, breathe, and eat dental. It is worth the investment.Malissa Lau

We strive to develop lifelong relationships with our patients by combining the latest dental technology with a professional and compassionate staff."
Review Summary
Whether it’s a dental cleaning, crown or root canal, Dr. Huppert’s office is the most professional and informative office in the area. Our family has benefited in so many ways over the past 30 years because although a healthy mouth has its own advantages, it also benefits self esteem and general health. We drive approximately one hour in each direction because we know Dr Huppert is an expert-advanced in many areas of dental care with contemporary training and we feel comfortable in his care. His staff is excellent too-courteous and friendly. Thank you all – and for my great dental cleaning today. You’re the best.Jody Champlin
Dr. Huppert and his staff not only fixed my mouth but also my lifelong fear of dentists. Having avoided going to the dentist for years I was expecting to hear that my best bet would be dentures but Dr. Huppert really knows teeth and was able to do what I thought was not possible. It feels terrific to be able to smile again! I even do it for no reason sometimes, just because I can. I can't recommend Dr. Huppert and his staff enough. Professional, prompt, personable, patient and painless are some words that come to mind. Best Dentist Ever. Thank you!!!Mark Chouinard
My last two dentists retired in close succession. Now I start anew, and what a fine dental office this is – friendly and professional staff, clean, modern facilities, and superior Covid safety protocols. Dr. Huppert is highly knowledgeable, experienced, and very caring. His findings and recommendations corresponded perfectly with those of my last dentist, who I very much trusted and respected. It looks like I made an excellent choice for my new dentist.Michael Roof

Review Summary
I am a working registered dental hygienist who graduated from Carrington College back when they were at their previous location relatively close by on San Ignacio. I can't speak for the program now since alot has probably changed in terms of administration, but our program director Sherry Heaney, department of hygiene staff, and supervising doctors were all great and provided us with excellent, rigorous education. We had a very thorough clinical and classroom education there at Carrington which allowed my graduating class to pretty much all go through the program and pass our National and regional boards for hygiene. The cost for the programs I will admit is a bit pricey as it is a private tech school, but they do have loan options. I just recently paid off my student loans after working part time for 3-4 years as a dental hygienist. Also keep in mind that the program was only about 1.5 years full-time vs the 2 years you would expect to go through from one of the renown lottery local community college programs at foothill, Diablo, etc. By all means if you are lucky enough to get into those programs go there as you will save a ton of money, but education-wise my education was on par with those schools. After we graduated I received many phone calls checking up on me to ask if I had been employed yet, so they do seem to check up on how we were doing after going through the program. If you are coming into this clinic as a patient, understand that this isn't a dental practice. Carrington makes nothing from having you come in for their essentially free treatment. They don't "prey" on people without dental insurance because Carrington receives no benefit from you coming into the department for treatment, and rather it is more of a service to you and the local community. That being said, you will be treated by STUDENTS and their only gain from you will be clinical experience. Treatment planning and the amount of time you spend in the clinic will also be ALOT longer than it would be if you were to go to a dental office. I'm talking about a few days of you coming in for appointments vs an hour at a dental office. To Nichole's review, since I can't directly respond to your review: I am unaware of how your periodontal health was before treatment but most likely you had gum disease. If you are having gum recession after treatment that you didn't expect, then I am afraid maybe you didn't have enough patient education. That is something that just happens if you have gum disease and receive treatment for it. Your gums recede because they are swollen initially and you already have bone loss around your teeth. Once they firm up they will naturally recede to match your bone levels. As a practitioner it triggers me when the patient blames the doctor or staff for the patient's own negligence even though as practitioners we have the heart to basically do charity work for them. It is sad that you feel entitled to free treatment and then blame your healthcare provider. Just my two cents here.Unsullied Roarrior
Hi my name is Jessylynn I am from Philippines, migrated here USA 2009, I know in myself that my passion in Dentistry will stop but by year 2016 I met former student of Carrington College, she’s working a Dental Hygienists now. Thanks to her because she encourage me to go to go back to school and try to inquire. The staffs in Carrington College are friendly even the janitor and security guard and front desk. I remember the first day doing my inquiring in this school, I met Troy he was my enrollment advisor! He’s so nice, funny and cool! I like him! I like how he help me and my friend to get this in the program. He extends his arm to help you for what you need to get in the program and take note I don’t have money, nor credit score or anything financial. It’s true that the private school is so PRICEY! I can’t blame or complain about it because it’s private school and you’ll graduate in 1.5 years not including pre req. Troy explained everything about it, how you’ll pay and how much you’ll pay. Honestly, I didn’t know what I’m doing but with the help of Carrington College staff I would say I owe them from what I became now because they helping me to make my dream come true even you don’t have money for now, it’s like get your degree and pay later! I am now in Term 2 in Dental Hygienist Program! Carrington College of Dental Hygiene Program Department’s environment is peaceful. The faculty are very friendly. This the place where you can learn many things. I honestly can say, their way of teaching is not intimidating, they work harder just to make sure their student doing a good job especially in the clinic, your practice skills (oh, a lot of COMPETENCY, which is to test your skills, if you failed then they’ll teach you until you get it) and lecture. I love how they focus on your hand skills, your ergonomic (protecting your back, I don’t even know that!) BASIC is life! They teach you not only to learn how to treat patient but they care also for you to love the job so you’ll not injure your overall health! Mrs. Clark is the one who welcomed us in this Program, she’s so gentle when she talk and I love her teaching in Radiology subject and not only her you’ll love. All the DH department staff are friendly and funny that what’s make me go to school everyday and excited to LEARN. They’re all knowledgeable, professional, and they will not stop failing you until you get the PERFECT skills, they’re not judgmental they’re always asking “DO YOU HAVE QUESTION?”. One of our Instructor said “MISTAKE IS A OPPORTUNITY”. I realized being perfection is not what make you GREAT! I don’t wanna brag everything but their teaching reached my beyond expectation. I can’t wait to finish my Program and start to work!Jesselyn Berganio
This particular location has some very wicked women working in positions they’re obviously not qualified to work in. If you’re a woman of African descent, they work so hard to keep you down and out of the programs, if the salary will start at a healthy rate. Yet they’re pretty rude and condescending to EVERYONE! They try to intimidate the students for having questions. They’re very unsupportive and unprofessional. They will gang up on you, knit pick with you, hold unnecessary bully like meetings with you, etc. these women can’t handle the responsibility that their position Carrie’s . They’re old as Medusa and have the audacity to mock an older student. It’s a shame that after all that women have been through overtime , these women believe that it’s their job to try and hold another woman back. I had a heart issue due to a medication I had taken while I was a student there. I was admitted into the hospital, and still managed to attend my class the following day from my hospital bed. These women verbally attacked me in private the first day I returned to campus. I was still weak from being ill, which caused me not to be able to properly defend myself. Fortunately, I was able to record the second attack—all because I inquired about what the protocols would be in the event that students became ill with covid. They wanted to meet with me again privately, the meeting took approximately 1 hour, yet my question was never answered. Instead they brought up all kinds of other silly things, while gazing at me like I was an experiment. There’s a lot more I have to say about this campus and it’s Surgical Technology Director, Lab instructor, and the Director of Student Services. They behaved like pure monkey’s.Tara Newton-Bailey

Review Summary
The teachers here are amazing and wonderful and do not get enough credit for all the little things they do. I was in the vet tech program. All the instructors for vet tech actually are RVT which is cool, cause they have seen so many things and worked in the field for so long, they are all so very knowledgeable. Most of the employees who worked in the office are also very helpful and kind. No one in the entire Carrington College Pleasant Hill location regarding faculty (including staff, office workers, janitors and teachers) gets the recognition they deserve. Everyone i met in the time during my program all went above and beyond what they were paid to do or had to do because the instructors and teachers really care about you and really want you to reach your goals. Any problems or issues you may be having the teachers will always help you or they will find someone who is better equipped to help and understand your issues or problems. The 2 years i spent here because thats how fast you can get your degree and diploma in a 2 year period went back so quick and i would completely do it again. All the teachers have there own way of giving you the information you need but it is your job to study it. My teacher was awesome so there were times when the teacher would stay later then needed just to help me and other studys or review any information that we werent completely comfortable with yet. It's nice to know that the staff, instructors and teachers really want you to know this information and will not get pass anyone who doesnt know there information. You get to work with so many beautiful animals both which students, and teacher bring in from there homes as well as the labs we attend to practice on larger animals such as horses and cows. It was all just one big thrilling event. All teachers, instructors and staff deserve a raise for the wonderful things they do just on a daily basis to help others that goes unnoticed. During my time here at the Carrington College Pleasant Hill campus i also worked there as a student worker. All staff members are overworked and underpaid. The higher up management people who get paid to do a job that they pan off on the others who are lower in ranked get all the opportunities as well as all the recognition for things they have no part in. I have seen multiple people quit or be fired for what others have done which is not right. The CEOs or whomever is at the top and makes the decision for everyone under them needs to pay more attention to there employees and actually realize what they are doing and know what they are worth. The instructors and teachers do not work here because of the pay or recognition that they so rightfully deserve and need, NO. They work here because they love the people here, because they love the students here, it's because they love what they do and they want us students to make sure we love it to. They do not want us paying so much money and taking all these classes if it is not something we actually want and like to do and are good in it. If all the little dogs got paid more and well enough as well as proper trainer for new employees and not just throwing them to the wolves making them feel overwhelmed and adding boatloads of paperwork to a single person already under stress and having a shoulder looked over every minute wondering if they are messing up because no one was there to properly train them, then the employees at carrington college pleasant hill campus would probably stay longer and would not leave due to things being mislooked at. Thank you for your time. I will always love and miss all the teachers i had, all the instructors who taught me something and all the staff members who became my friends both in and out of the work place.satin williams

My teacher for the Dental Assisting course is top notch. Encourages questions and helps students not just learn the information to pass the course but understand the information in order to have a successful future career. For anyone considering a career as a dental professional, Carrington has an A+ program.Whatssit Touya

I took the Infection Control Class on May 20 at the Dental Assisting Institute and it ran very smoothly. They follow up with you after you sign up and make sure you have everything you need for the day of your course. The course instructor, Daisy, was very knowledgeable and was able to answer questions students had. The lab demonstration part of the course was simple and easy to follow. Over all it was a welcoming atmosphere and helped me get the certifications I need.Marc Rodriguez
I just graduated the 12-week program for Dental Assissting and I absolutely loved it. I’ve been working in a dental office already even before graduating which is one of the pros of this course. You don’t need to finish the course to start working. I plan on returning to take my coronal polish course early next year to register to become an RDA. Overall, the whole staff was very welcoming and patient with all students.Yisel Najar Montes
I took the Radiation Safety Course in Modesto and I didnt think I was going to passed but I did. GOT MY CERTIFICATE!! I'm super excited. Review Summary
My sister and brother-in-law referred us to Santa Cruz Dental Care because they love Dr. Daniel and know how much anxiety I get about going to the dentist. They told me how gentle, thorough, and kind he and his staff are and they were 100% right. I've had a long-time fear and anxiety with the dentist and even struggle with routine cleanings. I consider myself a complex patient because my anxiety takes over as soon as I walk into a dental office. The past two days I had to get much needed and postponed dental work I've put off out of my own fears. I finally took the leap and had the work done with Dr. Daniel and I am beyond appreciative of all the staff. From Laura in the front office to Dr. Daniel and his assistants; they all treated me with genuine kindness, patience and understanding. My husband and children were also seen here and they did great with them too. Definitely a place for the whole family and even better for those like me that fear the dentist! Thank you, Santa Cruz Dental Care staff, you are all so appreciated by my family and I.Reyna Cabrera
One of the best dental experiences I’ve had in a while! All the staff are super friendly, office is clean and equipment seem up to date (dental chairs w/ massage function, TV on swivel arm so you can watch shows while getting treatment, X-ray machine in each room), mini fridge with drinks offered. First time coming in as a new patient for comprehensive exam, Dr. Daniel has been THE most thorough provider I’ve ever been to. He does educational teach and consults even before looking at your teeth and again after your exam. A+ all aroundB Chao
I wrote a review on Yelp also but…. Dr Daniel Azurduy is incredible! If you are the type of person who is afraid of the dentist you should make an appointment here. I am terrified of needles and I have been three times for fillings I felt nothing! He is caring and assuring, he walks you through the treatment and your images. He makes being at the dentist more like chatting with a friend. Highly highly recommend this dentist office. Everyone is helpful and cheery don’t be afraid and get your teeth checked!Grace Bailey

I had a great experience at Dr. Lilliana’s office! My stepdad has been going for awhile now and recommended me to go too. Recently, one of my wisdom teeth is growing in and I’m in a lot of pain. The day I made the call they were willing to take me in (literally 30 min after the call) to get things in motion for me – X-rays & referral to an oral surgeon. I was so thankful for their urgency because of the pain I am in right now. Dr. Lilliana was kind, communicative, and patient with me during my full visit! I also felt super welcomed by the staff that I interacted with which is, in my opinion, so important to feel at any doctor/dentist office. If you’re someone who gets nervous about dentist visits, I would highly recommend this office because I know they will put you at ease for any of your worries and or concerns as soon as you walk through their door. You will leave with no unanswered questions and feel great about your overall visit!Linda M
the very best of the best. I was seen on Saturday for an emergency service in Folsom. Then today, the day before I'm leaving out of state I contacted her to let her know of some discomfort. She made an appointment for me the same day and made the required adjustments and I was good to go. Highly recommend this place. Excellent staff and its obvious that they care for people first.Barry Williams
I am so impressed with the entire experience. From the friendly reminders, to entering the office, and especially the dentist! My previous dentist Stephen C Ott, DDS, was incredible. I had the benefits of his gift since 1971. I was worried about finding a new dentist. However, I was blessed to have Dr. Ott recommend his dentist: Dr. Lillian Stojic. I recommend her to all!!!John Murphy III

After changing medical coverage, I called multiple places whom stated they did not accept Hmo coverage-to finally get connected to this wonderful establishment. Since the first moment I spoke to a young man here who I believe is named Alfredo, it was smooth sailing. He not only helped me to set an appointment but he also helped me with the phone number for my medical coverage so that I can set this dentist office as my primary. It was extremely helpful & I really appreciated his assistance. Once I went in for my appointment everyone here was extremely friendly and super efficient! They definitely helped me feel welcome, I had never had such a positive experience at a dentist office & I am extremely thankful to everyone here. The dentist is very professional & even X-rays are done easier! I will be having my wisdom teeth removed soon, but I am super comfortable with the idea of it happening here. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for an amazing experience at the dentist!Lilibeth Gaxiola
Being deathly afraid of the dentist due to past experiences, I was terrified when my tooth chipped. I called and they took me in the same day. The people there are extremely polite and welcoming. Seeing my nervousness they were very helpful in walking me through the steps of what needed to be done. From the front desk to the x-ray technician. Everyone was super nice. I must thank the amazing dentist who used her own technique and calmness to administer my medication and kept me breathing and at ease. I have made more appointments already as she (Dr. Guevara-Lara) has made me completely comfortable and I am ready to go back and smile again. Thank you to all the staff and the Dr.Felicia Gonzales
Had a filling done by what looked to be a dentist-in-training. The filling came out while I was flossing, within 7 months. Very painful, highly sensitive to cold, couldn’t chew on that side at all. Went in to had it refilled after being initially told my insurance wouldn’t be billed since it was their shoddy work. Was told differently once I was in the office; insurance was billed. Now, the actual dentist did the replacement. I noticed my chart had that dentist’s name as who did the first filling. I mentioned it to the dentist, who looked very confused. Within 2 days, pain came back. 100% would not recommend.Charia Rose

What root canal?!? I am so pleased to have experienced my first root canal with Dr. Sappal and his magnificent assistants and staff. I was praying I wouldn’t need the root canal but not so! My fear and apprehension were immediately replaced with the gut feeling I was in really good hands. Dr. Sappal and assistants didn’t miss a beat; the whole process was over with only the discomfort of holding my mouth wide open for a while. Recovery has been a breeze by following their guidelines closely. They all truly care and I am so happy I was referred to them. Thank you Dr. Sappal and staff from the bottom of my heart.Mary Alice Morency
This was my first time at Midtown Endodontics. Dr. Sappal and staff were friendly, courteous and they made me feel comfortable. I hadn't had a root canal for many years and was amazed at how they are now being done. It was virtually painless and quick. Dr. Sappal also wanted to know how I was doing the evening after the procedure. Very thoughtful and caring. Not my favorite thing to do but if I need another one someday, I know exactly where I'm going.Linda B
I went to see Dr. Sappal for a root canal. I was a little nervous going into it being the first time having a root canal. His staff was warm and comforting. They let you pick whatever kind of music you want to help you relax. They showed me a video about the process which I thought was awesome because then I knew what they were doing as they were doing it. I had a great experience at this office and highly recommend Dr. Sappal and his staff!!Tony Oldham

I have been a patient for many years, and have always found Dr. O’Brien to be very detail oriented and good at communicating any issues. When asked, he will explain the various jargon in layman’s terms. His dental programs and equipment have evolved steadily over the years, so I am confident he updates regularly and pays attention to new technology and education in the field. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable as well, and I appreciate that they give me an estimate ahead of time if I need to make a follow up appointment for dental work (as opposed to a routine cleaning). With his son joining the practice soon, I look forward to staying a patient for a long time.Jennifer J
Dr. O’Brien and his staff are top notch. I’ve been a patient with this office for many years and would recommend Dr. O’Brien to anyone. He and his staff are super professional, which is very rare in this day and age. They make you feel like you’re part of their family when you come in to be seen. There’s always nice soothing music playing over the intercom and they Do an excellent job of making you feel comfortable.Tim Woods

PLAQUE BE GONE! Wow! What can I say about J Street Dental Group? A lot! These people are wonderful. I first went in back in October and boy was my mouth a mess. Cavities here, gingivitis there. Don’t even get me started on my gums. They were red and angry. But with the help of Kelsey I am feeling and looking good! No joke I’ve been here like 8 times in the last two months because I had to have so much work done. It was Kelsey’s smiling face behind the mask that got me through it. She makes dental care fun! Dr. Hoffman is very kind; she sent me a welcome card when I was a new patient. Who does that!? Incredible!! She’s wicked smart and using all kinds of amazing 3D tech to look at my teeth. I think I’m gonna stop brushing my teeth just so I can go back SOONER!! If you’re looking for a great dental practice look no further! Do your teeth a favor and come to Kelsey and Dr. Hoffman at J Street Dental Group! They’re top notch and I always leave smiling!Daniel Vaccaro
Best dental experience I’ve ever had! Everyone I interacted with was so kind and welcoming from start to finish. Majenta was super nice and thoughtful and answered all of my initial questions; Adrienne did an amazing job as my hygienist, she was gentle and thorough and explained everything as we went along; Joanne is the sweetest person I’ve ever met, and did a great job explaining my bill and the insurance, as well as setting up my future appointments. Dr. Hofmann was also a delight! My friends are really tired of hearing me talk about my dentists office, but they’re just that great!Cassie Bongiorno
My first visit at J St. Dental, I am so happy I met so many wonderful people there Joanne, Dr. Hoffman, Adrianne, two more very nice professional people that I don’t remember their names but I will eventually. I will certainly be going back. I had so many questions and each person took time to answer all of them, I appreciate it so much, they mapped out a dental plan for me , explained x-rays about my teeth etc. A dear friend recommended them i’m so thankful she did and now I will recommend them to anybody who needs dental attention or just for answers to their questions.Susan Dahlquist

Review Summary
I had been dealing with some severe dental pain that I needed to alleviate ASAP, and luckily I had found this office, the only thing I could find that had an appt the following day I had called in. Once I reached the clinic, I was greeted by the very friendly receptionist in a very clean, modern, and nice looking lobby. Once I was checked in, I was greeted by an equally friendly dental assistant, who was very patient and considerate of the amount of pain that I was in. He did all my imaging and had the hygienist come and provide some blunt (but honestly much needed) observations and recommendations. I then met with Dr. Rezk who is AMAZING! There was no judgement on the (admittedly poor) condition of my dental health, and was genuinely wanting to help as much as possible, and was very kind and easy to talk to. I ended up needing a tooth extraction, and they were fortunately able to get it done the same day as well! While they did not accept my insurance (Medi-Cal), they have very affordable payment options, and were very helpful with getting it set up. I highly recommend this clinic, whether you are needing to be seen for a more urgent dental concern, or for a general check-up. I hope to be able to come back in the future!Loag Lewis
After speaking to a wonderful receptionist at first, I made my mother an appointment here because they sounded like they would help her, she's had the worst luck with dentures and dentists in Sacramento and this dentist was no different, although the x ray and reception staff were great, the dentist himself was very rude, would not listen to my mothers requests or to how she felt, as she only needs an upper denture, when she was clearly upset, ignored her ask's and insisted on doing something she did not want to do. I called this place because the reviews weren't bad, but beware, they will not help you the way you'd, will make you feel like they will over the phone, and then make you feel bad during the appointment because the dentist will not listen or care to take your requests into consideration and if you've had luck like her, will come home very upset. They will try to make you spend money you do not have.Daniella Castaneda
If I could put more stars, I definitely would! 100000% recommend this amazing place! Q who is a consult was nothing but helpful and caring while I went ran my credit for CreditCare (also an AMAZING program!!) Dr. Rezk – I CANNOT thank YOU enough for being such an AMAZING person, not only were you EXTREMELY patient with me as I have dental anxiety and you were so incredible during the entire process. Another HUGE shoutout would be to the assistants Lucero and Sheena, you both are such AMAZING human beings, kept me calm, kept checking on me and making sure I was okay the entire time, you guys are phenomenal at your job. I started the process on Tuesday, it is now Friday and I will finally have a smile I’ve always been dreaming of, so again, thank you to every single person I mentioned. I cannot wait to see my new smile that you all helped me get!! 🙂Sara Rose

Review Summary
I had not gotten a dental cleaning in nearly 15 years, so as you can imagine my teeth and gums were not in great shape when I finally found the angel known as Dr. Andrade. When I made my new patient appointment, I explained how terrified I was and was calmed down by a caring and compassionate woman over the phone. She promised me their Doctors would be gentle and patient. Boy was she right. My consultation went great. Nichelle seated me, calmed my nerves, and ensured I was comfortable. She was gentle in taking X-rays and photographing my teeth. I was afraid of being judged by the condition of my teeth and gums, but Nichelle treated me with such dignity and respect, nearly all of my fears melted away. When I finally met Dr. Andrade, he was also SO kind and considerate. He told me that my teeth were not in as bad of shape as I had thought and that all we needed to do was focus on a few things to get my oral health back on track. There was a bit of bad news sprinkled in there regarding the need for advanced deep cleaning and the fact that my bite teeth were shifting severely due to thrusting my tongue and I'd need to get that corrected with orthodontics to avoid the need for a surgical fix down the road. I had known about the teeth shifting for a while, especially since I started wearing a CPAP about 3 years ago. It was finally time to book my next appointment to start treatment and I wasn't nearly as terrified. I brought my husband in for both of my deep cleaning appointments as support. I feel so bad for not remembering the hygienist's name because she was AMAZING and SO gentle. She repeatedly asked if I was comfortable throughout the entire appointment. Because my gums were so swollen and inflamed, I needed more novocaine than most people, but she was so gentle while injecting. She also performed laser treatments on my gums, which was scary, but necessary. I am now finished with the deep cleanings, scaling as well as replacements of a couple of 25-year-old fillings that had come out. My gums have fully healed and look SO healthy! I'm now just waiting for my orthodontic liners to arrive so I can start that journey. If you've made it this far reading this review and you're still on the fence about booking an appointment, please don't wait. You won't find a more caring group of dental professionals than those at Dynamic Dental.Allison Hampton
Dynamic Dental saved my tooth by putting on a crown. Two other dentists would only speak root canal and refused to entertain other options. However, Dynamic Dental worked with me and explained all upcoming issues. As predicted I’ve been experiencing some pain, which was to be expected considering my condition. Months later I had my teeth cleaned at a local dental school and a dentist of 42 years came over to investigate my pain. I explained everything I had been told and he had a look and as a precaution took an x-ray of the crown. He explained that I was lucky and wanted to know the name of what he considered to be an exceptional and rare dental practice. Everyone is friendly and the professionalism is second to none, and as I already previously noted another professional referred to their work as exceptional and rare – something only a highly qualified dentist could pull off. I highly recommend.Videos O
I've been going to Dynamic Dental for about a year now. I have to say it's been a great experience from the beginning. Everyone is super friendly and attentive. Questions are answered promptly and care is given with a smile. Charges are gone through with you during consultation and all is discussed and not hidden from you. I was made to feel at ease for my procedure and will soon be having implants done here. Great experience! I recommend them to anyone intimidated by a dental visit.Simon Wayne
