5 Best Dental Assistant Programs In Murrieta, CA (2022 Updated)

This review is for the Pharmacy Technician program at the San Marcos, CA campus, taught by Mrs. Becker. I am a graduate and was taught by Mrs. Becker. A 5-star experience. Mrs. Becker is passionate about teaching her profession. She truly cares about her students – she strives to get to know them, understand their strengths and weaknesses, and works with them to get them to success. The class meets for 4 hours per day, 5 days a week in a clean, modern classroom. I found it to be a safe, welcoming, and diverse environment. Really important for me: Mrs. Becker not only has outstanding integrity and professional credentials, but also a sense of humor! An actual pharmacist, who is wonderfully approachable, experienced, and caring, Mrs. Baca, comes in to teach certain classes, and substitutes for Mrs. Becker when needed. Together, they make a great team. A broad range of subject matter is covered, for example, math, law, pharmacology, customer service, and "hands-on" preparation of prescriptions (using mock ingredients of course). The program enabled me to get my state Pharmacy Technician license AND earn a certificate in sterile compounding before I even graduated! If you complete the program, you'll definitely be a competitive candidate in the job marketplace.Charles Griffin

As a former student in PIMA's OTA program, I can say that the OTA students probably have the most fun out of all the programs! The campus is really nice and located next to alot of resturaunts, which made getting lunch easy. Since the campus is fairly new all the OTA equipment is new and in good condition. Additionally, OTA labs were always engaging and applicable when working with actual patients during FW. Classes were a bit fast-paced, however, this is an accelerated program. Additionally, all the instructors were amazing and have great experience within different areas of OT which stood out in their ability to teach certain subjects. They also went out of their way to ensure that every student was successful in this program, which I appreciated. Occupational therapy is an amazing career that is versatile and allows you to specialize in different areas such as neuro, pediatrics, geriatrics, orthopedics, etc. It is a rewarding career that challenges you as a practitioner to think outside the box to ensure the best health outcome for your patients while looking through a holistic lens. If this sounds like a career that you are interested in, I would definitely look into joining PIMA's OTA program.melanie chhea

Currently enrolled in the respiratory therapy program and have had a great experience so far. The instructors go above and beyond to make sure we have what we need, with constant check ins for students. Everyone is there to help, all you need to do is ask and there’s full transparency. I would recommend others to join in getting their healthcare career started. Notably we have instructors that know their stuff and not just that actually care about how we are learning. The school had NO placement for me to complete my extership. I was threatened to get dropped off the program if I didn’t find my own extership. During enrollment I was promised a place to complete my extership. To prevent being dropped off the program, I had to agree to do my internship at Jacob’s House. At Jacob’s house I had NO opportunity to do any office work but instead do housekeeping. This school is a scam!!!!!! My expectations were to be working at an office. There is not enough words to say how amazing this school is. The school is amazing due to the staff. I could not have had a better instructor. Mrs. Martha is truly phenomenal. She is not only an awesome instructor, but she is also caring and attentive. She puts her students first and makes sure we understand what we are learning at all times. She always gives us the chance to show what we learned and helps us out whenever we need help. She is by far the best staff member at High Desert. I did the phlebotomy program with Paul Taff and he was amazing. There was never a chance for you to fail ANYTHING. He would make sure to go through everything and explain why that answer was the way it was so you had a better understanding. The hands on portion of the class was always fun. He always made sure you got all of your draws done! If you needed more help, he made accommodations for you! Trust me, you will have so much fun in his class. He also helped me find a job and he will help fix your resume if you need it! I have been telling all my friends to come to his class, that's how much I loved it!Odeline Fitzgibbons

Horrible administration staff the communication between staff and students is the worst as a student you need to be on top of them or nothing gets done I personally really regret going to this school or DMS please checkout other schools they will take your money but as soon as you need something they make you jump through hoops for literally everything when I was there they did not have functioning machines for us to go into our labs horrible everything was so horrible for the amount of money that this school cost we should have been provided at least functioning machinesELENA MONTANO

What a great Experience at this school. It was only $3000 for the entire 4 month program. Payments are broke up and are due about every 2 weeks. You receive the same certificates that other schools offer and a lot of HANDS ON. You can’t beat that. About a month After graduation, I began working full time at a dental office as a DA. SO EXCITING. Brandi was my teacher and she’s above AMAZING. She helps you every step of the way. So if your looking to get your foot in the door in the dental world, this is a great place to start. Terrible customer service! We had paid a couple of months ago for the renewal of a CPR card and it was never e-mailed to us. It did took us a couple of months to call for it since we were waiting for it to arrive. When I called to see if they could resend it to us Cathy was extremely rude and unprofessional, she was yelling saying that I was going to make her work because I did not called her sooner. When I told her that I did not appreciated her tone she went off yelling at me even more!! I understand that it was my fault for taking so long to call but as a paying customer I should NOT be treated this way. I will make sure that we do not use her services anymore in my office. I recently took the X-Ray Certification class and I was extremely satisfied with my experience there! I definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to obtain any dental certification. Both Cathy and the instructor were extremely helpful and genuinely nice. Also, I was happy to see the Covid precautions they are taking during this time with smaller class sizes!
