Worst college experience. The clinical advisor is incapable of her job and pushed the clinical to a future start even though the CPR card takes one day to get but she decides to push it a whole week when we should have been done the day the quarter finished. The phlebotomy instructor is really rude and disrespectful of students and makes students not feel comfortable to speak up and if to ask a question she acts like your a child completely rude. I don't recommend coming to this college. Also the virtual graduation was upsetting to know I had sent my information and sent a photo and not even be on it. Really makes me unhappy to know I spent money and time to be treated as a student like trash and not get acknowledged for the hard work and time put into trying to succeed. I won't want to come back to this college for the at most disrespectful people.Ryan

This is a terrible college. It’s like pulling teeth to get anyone to email you back about important, time-sensitive information, and you get the runaround when they do. This happened when I was applying for admission, and is currently happening now that they’ve denied me, because they are incompetent, the certificate I worked so hard for. Because they changed the numbers on some math courses, they all of a sudden don’t count towards my certificate, and they lost the official transcript that I sent from my former college, and are denying my transfer credit. Man i had trouble here. Not only did they give me the wrong classes but it turns out i never had FAFSA to cover my classes. And they make me pay for them two years after I left the college. Thank goodness i never continued to study here. I know they have a lot of students to manage but still if you were able to catch that years later then why not then? I knew something was wrong here. I feel like I’m getting scammed. I’m retaking this class first time was because my previous teacher didn’t grade most of my work that I summited direct to her with all paperwork and it was totally mess like nothing’s ever organized and dated correctly and she got fired so other instructors had to take over and still didn’t care about my assignment so i had no choice but failing. And when i retook it for second time with same class due to her personal reason it was mostly online or self taught with ppt she posted on blackboard. I only got to be in classroom 3 times. my new instructor won’t grade my quiz so i had to email her and advisor but non of them gave me any updates nor response so I guess they just want me to retake it over and over again until they can do their job. It’s large amounts of money they required too so I’m wasting my time and money and it just seems like they’re scamming me. Whenever my friends or people around me asking about this school I never recommend. Because no one need to deal with this mess. We've hosted students from the programs over the years and they come in with little clinical experience. They're not prepared to work with patients out of school at all. Up until recently our team was okay spending hours in training (while the school gets paid the tuition fee, we get nothing) hoping to keep the student on long-term. We got stood up. A promise was made to stay on and then no communication, no reply. The school should teach honesty, integrity and professionalism as part of the curriculum.Ilona F

I graduated from the medical assistant program and the teachers were all amazing and seem to truly care about their student’s success and wellbeing, especially Mojda! My only downside is that I did struggle with some of the administrative staff having poor communication and being disorganized. I definitely had to advocate for myself. Just recently completed my phlebotomy training with NW Phlebotomy School in Seattle, and as someone who has done multiple health training courses, l would say this was the best. Our instructor Jaime Clark was wonderful, and made sure we were all confident in our skills before the end of our course. Jaime Clark was an exceptional teacher. Was patient, and explained things until it was easily understood. Didn’t feel rushed or forced but as if she genuinely wanted to educate us. Please pick somewhere else!! It’s extremely difficult to find a job just being registered as a NA aka NAR. People will hire you but not if you’re under 18. You might as well wait until you turn 18 if you’re choosing Excel. Taking the class was overall draining when it shouldn’t have been. They also don’t offer clinical hours because of Covid when it’s not as bad anymore. It just sounds like an excuse. A lot of other CNA schools have clinical training included. A very frustrating experience. The theory portion of the course went well enough but the practical portion was a mess. The instructor is very condicending. She was inconsistent in her instruction and we, the students, ended up teaching ourselves based on videos. This class was terrible. It literally taught me nothing. None of the information provided was helpful. I feel that they could have gone more in depth with the skills and they could have provided me with more help. They didn’t help you get your clinical hours during covid and the head teacher Hadra never answers her phone or texts. It’s really expensive for the quality of schooling you receive. You can easily find a job that will pay you to take the classes and pay you to do your clincals. They also don’t explain the “time limit” at which you have to get your clincals in, to receive completion of the course so I was jipped $800 because I “didn’t get my hours in on time”. Definietly consider going to Hadra's class for your NAR training. If you are looking to be trained in a classroom that is engaging, professional, and proficient, NAT is the place to study. Our class had a room in the back with plastic dummys you could practice all your skills on, Hadra always walks you through the skills just like the skills exam before allowing you to practice them with your classmates, this is something you may not get in other classes. Hadra is incredibly patient and responsive, so if you ever feel like you need more support, she is more than willing to help you. Hadra is a teacher who wants to see all her students succeed!Robin

This class was honestly horrible. They made no effort to help get our clinical hours during COVID and never answer their phone when you call them. It’s also way over priced. As soon as I got my first CNA job, they explained that many places offer free CNA classes and actually help you get your clinical hours rather than just leaving you in the dust. I was weekdays 8am-2.30pm class in August 2019. Our teacher was Ms.Jackky and little help with Ms. Kathleen. I’m so glad I took the class here . Ms.Jackky is very good at teaching skills and lecture. You will have homework everyday and quizzes related to the state exam, if you attend the class and practice what she taught, you will do fine on the state exam. The clinical was 5 days from 5am-2pm it was at Stafford in Des Moines. It wasn’t easy, I never seen that much poop in my life. we have to complete the skills that you got before starting the clinical. Everyday I cleaned & fed the residents. I mean everything that CNA does for the job. Overall I love the school, teachers and all the nice staff. Ms.Beth also real sweet after we done with school she still emailed us jobs opportunities that we can apply thru her. I recently finished the CNA course at the beginning of December. Ms. Jackie was my course instructor and was able to guide me down a path to success. She encouraged good habits and behavior that if you are planning on taking this course I would listen to and follow strictly. I just passed my state boards and became certified on December 30th. Without her 50 years of experience I don't know if I would have passed the test the first time. There is a 40% failure rate on the state exam so take it seriously. Divine is a fantastic place to learn and grow in this career. It is a small school, but if you can look passed the lower budget that the school has please see the decades of experience that will shape you into the the future of the medical industry.Gage Reed

This program is amazing! Divine CNA is worth every penny. It is a faster program than most, the staff and instructors are awesome, the facility is clean and well equipped with any needs. In my experience they really go above and beyond to help you succeed. Each staff member dedicates so much of themselves for this program, especially the instructors. I signed up for the 6-week CNA program during the summer, and I couldn’t have asked for anything better. Elizabeth (the instructor) is very friendly and professional. She helps her students not only learn what is required from the state but ensures she is teaching you the “best practice”. For practice CNA testing they made for 12:30pm and told us to arrive 30 minutes early but when I arrive for the test they hold me and other people until 5pm. This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. They didn't even ask any apologies. I didn't know who to call to report this bad experience. University of Washington's Excellent School of Nursing. A top notch training ground for world class nurses. Many resident experts reside and contribute to widely recognized research here. The building itself is in need of repair and renovation. Although such an overhaul would be costly and cause havoc for many of the nursing classes to be relocated. Work is underway to make this possible, and in time, the building itself will reflect what exists on the inside, which is expertise and knowledgeable faculty members.Michael M

I attended the training school back in November 2018. I'm so happy I went to this school, Mr. Desta is a really good teacher and very nice person. I took my state test yesterday Jan 21st and passed. Mr. Desta does a very good job explaining things and making it easy to understand weather English is your first language or not. The course is not to long , but there's a lot that needs to be covered, I feel like the teacher does a great job explaing to you exactly how it need to be done. Glad that I found it, i can say that the instructor is very well versed about the topic ,very patient, he makes it a point that we understand before he goes on to the next topic. I highly recommend Dt&T Nursing School. This course prepared me for the state exam and I passed on my first try. Our Instructor, Desta, is a practicing RN with many years experience. He's also an excellent teacher who takes an interest in each individual. I'm 55yrs old and the class was younger, so I was skeptical on my first day. I was wondering if this was the right place for me. However, after the first week I was inspired and motivated to learn. I enjoyed the classes, and the fellowship of our group. Dee is the owner and teacher of this amazing school. I came in wondering how I was going to pass my written and skills. I've heard so many horror stories on different CNA schools and how this rigorous skills test was. Dee is so warm, patient, and instills confidence in you. She is fully vested for your success, and she shows it. I passed because of her generosity on letting me come in practice as much as I needed to. Her kindness is a reminder to all of us that being nice is definitely not out of style. It is a much needed attitude for the healthcare community, and Dee is a prime example of that. Let me just start off by saying, this is a locally owned business and the owner is Dee Stroud, who is an intelligent, competent, and successful woman. She built this place from the ground up and has kept this place open on a very demanding schedule. All of her resources are helpful and she really does set you up for success. One of the cheaper schools out there, but she really should charge more! I passed both the written and skills exam on my first try and used only what Ms. Dee gave me to study and prepare. She knows exactly what to expect out of the state exam and gives you honest advice. She is a very wise woman and a pleasure to be around. I had a great experience at the Crystal Point CNA Training School when preparing to be Certified for a Nursing Assistant Licence. Miss Dee taught us the important parts of health care and how to do certain skills on addressing and helping the patients as well as the team members. The zoom classes were not only fun, entertaining and interesting, they were also very informative. I took my exams and passed without a hitch. When I was first looking for NA-C training, I wasn't sure who to go through. A quick Google search led me to NATI. Honestly, I thought maybe it was a scam at first since it was much more affordable and faster than other programs offered in Seattle. Too good to be true…4 quick weeks and you're done? No way! After doing some more research, I enrolled in the summer session. The classes that I took were excellent. There is supplemental instruction, and the staff genuinely cares about training people to be the best CNAs. What I really enjoyed was the skills lab. It was a lot of work and practice, but the staff made it easy to come in and practice for the skills portion of the exam. The clinical was fantastic, too. The instructors are incredibly experienced, and were able to answer all of my questions about becoming a successful CNA. The site is also where the state exam takes place, so it was great to have a home court advantage when I took my exam. There is an open lab to practice in, and the school has many options to come in and practice. Take advantage of it. My only criticism is that I could tell that ESL students had a tougher time completing this program, as it is incredibly fast paced. English language proficiency is an advantage for sure. I'm so glad that I went to NATI for my training. I'm working now as a caregiver, and my coworkers have complimented me on my skills and techniques that I've learned from NATI. I didn't have any health care experience before this. I can't recommend NATI enough!!Mitch

Overall wonderful experience- you can tell that everyone there really cares and wants you to do well. Our group had Nancy for the clinical part and oh my goodness- she was amazing! One of the nicest people you’ll ever meet, and she made the experience so much better. She was always patient with us, gave us tons of advice, and was funny and sweet the entire time. Instructor s rush you and are stressed out, the instructor s will rush you while taking your tests saying they need to go home. One instructor refused to let me take my break at clinical trianing, during clinical we no real training on patient care and instructor expect you to due their job. I took their CNA course online during the height of covid for 3 weeks from April into May 2020. I have reached out multiple times asking for them to email certain forms to me so I could get into a facility with my NAR and then schedule the clinical portions with them. At first it was Katie, and I never heard back. I called multiple times last summer in hopes to get it figured out before my kids returned to remote learning- I never heard back. Then suddenly in September it was a different person who said I had to attend the clinical starting the following week. That short notice was not doable given my children’s remote learning at that time, which I told her. She said she’d call back. I never heard from her. I called again in November and left a voicemail and never heard from them. Mind you, I had spent over $600 for this class and only had the online portion done, I still needed my clinical hours and hands on portion. I finally gave up contacting them. They promised they’d email me all the forms in May 2020, they never did. I called over and over requesting for the forms and times and dates to get things rolling and was not informed about anything until the Friday before for 1 of the clinical dates. I wasn’t given any other dates, just the 1 option out of the entire year. Thankfully I do have my NAR, but I cannot do much with it until I finish my clinical hours so I may schedule my exam. Oh, and I took the online BLS class and have yet to receive my certificate with it. DO NOT go here. As a company they are awful. I will say that their instructor, Teri, was absolutely wonderful. My experience with this school been very bad. They don't know what they're doing, they are not organized, and most importantly, they don't care if you succeed or not, From the beginning to the end, things just got worse. When I first went to the class online for the theory part, the instructor was destructed and interrupted all the time by other staff, and she would leave to take care of other things, while we were left to wait for her to return, Things didn't get better when we went for the skills. There were a lot of people there, maybe about 30, no social distancing whatsoever, there was only 1 mannequin to work with, and only 3 stations with beds that were not functional. Very cheap place that charge a lot of money. My advise is to take your money somewhere else, where they are providing enough stations and enough supplies for everyone, and where they are invested in your success. After paying full price and completing the full course, HPI submitted only bridge certificate to the state. After months of dealing with this there is no resolution. They’ve “lost” the records, they refuse to correct the error, they insinuate that the bridge certificate was forged. Seriously?!! Who forges a downgrade?!! They claim the original employee that signed the certificate is no longer there, but that employee was an instructor and took my call. Yesterday they promised to send a corrected certificate. Today they can’t find any records at all. They also said that if they could find the records they wouldn’t send them. 10/10 recommend using PayPal as a payment method for this company. NOTE: The front office staff were polite and helpful, but even they couldn’t hide the fear in their voice. It must really suck to work there.Bogey McDuff

Sheriff is a passionate instructor and he has a unique vibe when teaching. He most definitely earned my trust as a student knowing aside from being an instructor here he is also an Emergency Department Nurse. This is the place for Nursing Assistant training! The instructor was GREAT! He's knowledgeable and caring and has a talent for teaching. The staff was organized, helpful and nice. They really care about proper care for people and it shows through the instruction. The classes are relaxed and they work with you if you need anything (I had to leave class early once).
