Do not expect hand holding in any accelerated program — you must do your readings beforehand, listen to the instructors and do not be afraid to ask a million questions… that being said, I highly recommend this program to anyone, especially those already in the medical field and are wanting extra certifications. The entire course was definitely streamlined for us by Nancy Hackett, RN. The COVID swab, Live-scan, TB skin test were done in-house at the classroom. The textbook pages, uniforms and equipment are provided, which was super convenient. The state application were filled out, packaged and mailed for us. She couldn’t have made it easier for us students. My Clinical instructor, Anthony, LVN, was funny and laid back, yet professional and protective of the students. He would make sure to pair us up with clinical site CNAs who wanted to teach us and knew what they were actually doing. He would just round with us, if CNAs went missing. He wasn’t over shoulders over-analyzing everything we did. Anthony was ready to answer any questions asked, whether it was on topic or off, lol. I thank Mrs Hall, Campus Director, for making the application process easy, helping with the state skills and answering all of our questions on the state practice tests. I thank Odalis, CNA, for being Odalis and helping us out. The class room itself is equipped with two beds, and two dummies (one male and one female), linen closet, supply closet, a manual scale and all the stuff to prepare you for clinicals and the state exam. There’s plenty of car parking and easy access to the classroom. It’s a fast program, so pay attention and be hands on as much as you can is the advice I give anyone taking a one month course. Overall, no complaints whatsoever. Good people over there. 👍sylvilagus cunicularius
