I am so grateful and I'm pleased to announce that I will be taking my state boards soon, my experience at OMCC was a good one, I remember while I was in school all the negative people that kept saying that the school is all about money, no they're not,, they're all about preparing you for your test!! I am a thankful for the teachers and all the staff at OMCC,, especially Bob,,,He helped me get through a lot of things and kept me positive. So if you go to attend OMCC,try to avoid the negative people and remember to keep positive and that the school is there to help you. I hope one day I can return and go for my RN. I want to give a special thanks to Dr.Daisy,, thank you for all that you do for the students. Dr Daisy and her staff are AMAZING!! I attended Ohio Medical College for all of my medical education! I first went there for my certified nursing assistant classes. It was great! I learned and passed my state test on the first try! Went back for practical nursing, teachers were very knowledgeable, reliable and understanding! Passed my NCLEX exam and worked as a LPN while going back to OMCC for my Register Nurse Associates degree. Finished and now living my best Nursing life!! I would highly recommend this college! I am so happy I chose OMCC for my LPN nursing career! As an older adult learner I struggled at first to actually start the process of learning online. But the staff, the teachers, the admin and the financial adviser were very patient and understanding. Was it easy? No. But they helped guide me thru the choppy waters of going back to school in the tech age at over 50 yrs old, bravo OMCC! I recently completed the STNA/CNA course with Ally College. I’m not a mean spirited person and I very rarely rate a business on Google. I know how detrimental a negative comment can be for a business. The decision to leave a poor rating for Ally College wasn’t made lightly or impulsively. However, I will advise anyone looking to take this STNA/CNA State Board Testing Course through this program with Ally College to please, please, please, do your research. Choosing the least expensive option is economical but you get what you pay for. Even if you purchase Ally’s “Gold” package, like I did, you aren’t guaranteed a very pleasant experience. I now find myself full of regret not having done more research and calling around to other programs in our area. There are several in the Dayton, OH surrounding area. I went here for their 2 week 9-5 STNA class for Dec. 2016, and I can honestly say I liked it a lot. All of the staff members were kind and knowledgable. I really enjoyed the small class size and combination of book work and hands on learning. If I ever have to retake my STNA, Im definitely going here. I also loved the clinical site, Kingston of Miamisburg, they were even nice enough to give a mini presentation of working with them after your state test.Cherisse LaShea
