My Business Administration Management class was amazing, I learned so much and I am carrying it with everywhere I go. Some people do not like it and so do. My instructor was so brilliant and I am so proud and thankful for him. With his support and all of SJVC workers, instructors, and all around everyone, I was able to get threw this pandemic we are still having and graduate with a 4.0 and being on the deans list. I am thankful for you all. Anyone who wants to go to college for Business or just in general, go to SJVC. They got you covered and they support your every step and decision. They help you become ready for excellency and, help you find a job that you will love and if that job doesn't work out for you they will go over and above to help you succeed and find a position you want and love. I'm in the midst of the program and just love it!! The teachers and staff are fantastic and it feels like they have become my extended family. They care and want you to succeed. They offer many resources to help if you hit a road block. It's a very professional environment and they continue to train you on maintaining professionalism. Attending SJVC has been a wonderful experience for me. The overwhelming support, love and time that everyone spends on their students is immeasurable. My instructor Dr. Warman is an angel. I am currently in the vet tech program( just finished term 1 and starting term 2) here are a few things I wish I knew about the program before I started. UPDATE!!! STRONGLY suggest getting your generals done else where!!! Almost done with term 2 and Looking back, the program would be soo much easier if you were just taking the vet core classes. Seriously.. if you are really thinking about going here fresh out of high school and think you are going to be fine with the work load you are in for a rude awakening.. just please take my advice and get your generals done somewhere else. You will actually enjoy your time here if you are just taking the vet core classes because the vet related classes and the generals work load at the same time is extremely stressful because again you will be taking roughly 20 credit hours( that’s general classes and vet core classes) AND the material is very rushed. -curriculum is extremely rushed -instructors are a hit or miss (3/5 instructors were really great and knew what they were talking about and we’re able to explain really well, other 2 did not know the material and did not know how to effectively teach/explain/ or answers any questions about the material they were teaching. Pretty much had to self teach in both classes) -the parking situation is a hot mess. Parking on campus is extremely limited and the street parking is a joke. -The remediation assignments (Student services assigns you an extra assignment on top of your homework in whatever class for being 15+ minutes late or missing the class or leaving 15+ minutes early ie. Handwritten 100 bullet points on the slides of the power point you missed. The instructor then has to sign off on it and you turn it into student services no later than 1 week of the absence/tardy) is extremely unnecessary and just adds more stress. -But all in all still a better program than any of the other schools I was looking into before I started the program. I’m still loving what I am learning about and the hands on labs are amazing. My classmates and I are extremely close and working together and helping each other study is a must to succeed in every class. If you do find yourself struggling there are so many resources the school provides to help you ie. free tutoring from a peer tutor, tutoring from your instructors per request via emailing them. Scheduling an appointment with the Student success coordinator (helps you plan your study schedule and helps with testing stragies). Just know this is a tough program because it’s rushed and you WILL be taking anywhere from 12-20 credits hours. ( this is decided based on if you have transfer credits from other colleges ie. math 1010, Biology1010, college writing, etc. I was taking 20 credit hours. I did not choose this, your schedule will be chosen for you by the school) and you will be eating, living and breathing veterinary medicine for the next 2 years. ( also I want to add that it is STRONGLY recommended that you DONT have a job. At least in 1st term. In orientation they go more in-depth about this. A lot of my classmates including myself quit our full/ part time jobs after 1 month in the program because it was too much) If this is something you think you can handle then it is definitely worth it!Kaitlyn Hart

This school has all the technology you could ever want, and provides a lot of support. I wish I could have afforded to go there. That’s the only downside, is the really high price. I should add, the price is high for a reason. They buy top of the line technology to teach their nurses and vet techs (those are the only things I’ve seen myself, and I am 100% sure they put the money into their other programs, too.) My current financial situation makes the school unaffordable, but the price is 100% worth it. I was going to make myself afford it until I was told about a deposit. I WAS shocked by the $400+ deposit they required during orientation (for the LVN program.) I wasn’t told about it except less than a week before orientation. There was really no iltime for me to prepare. My financial aid advisor, Vanessa, was AMAZING and tried everything to make the school more affordable. My academic advisor, Nikia, was the BEST. She really helped to make me feel comfortable and helped teach me more about the program.Jessica Laroche

The program I was in (vet tech) was great for the most part! However there was a lot of bumps in the 2 years and disorganization when I was there. Teachers were a hit or miss you could get a great one and would love that class, or you would get one you dreaded and never wanted to go to class. Being the first class to graduate from that program we didn't get all the amazing equipment that the students have now. This program over all is a great experience because when you are struggling or need help you can find teachers always doing tutor sessions or the LRC always is willing to help you learn things as well. they are doing the best they can to make sure things run smoothly from now on. I would recommend this course now because it seems like things will run smoother now that they learned from passed mistakes with my class.Allison Kunic

I think financial aid is run by Dr.Seuss. It’s a literal circus. They barely answer the phone and Stacy is brutal. I think she wrestled in the WWE. I simply and politely asked about my financial aid app and she punch me in throat so hard I started singing Ave Maria. I didn’t even know I knew the song. Oh and Brenda in records punched me in my chest so hard my shoulders clapped. She was pretty adamant about me not transferring. Do not step on campus without your PPO being updated.Donovan Bradshawe

This is a great university with students from all around the world, very beautiful buildings, gardens and sport facilities. It was a fantastic experience to study there for an year and enjoy such a nice atmosphere. Just be aware that you need a car to travel in weekends, for Riverside itself does not have many attractions, though it's a cozy city.Michael Rachid

Beautiful campus. So green. I love the Eucalyptus trees. It’s quiet in certain areas and social in others when students are around. A little something for everyone. Nice pathways for both walking and cycling. There are benches all around the campus to provide ample sitting areas to either just rest or to study with solar powered charging stations.Sajleen

If you are a Veteran and want to attend this school I recommend you don't. I personally have had multiple issues with communication with the school as well as obtaining an appointment with their one VA counselor. My appointment was made a month and a half out mainly because that specific date was the only day that would work for me. I was suppose to walk in at 4 pm to see the counselor. Mind you I called earlier that day to confirm my appointment, even received an email notification confirming my appointment. They told me they accidentally double booked, but to come in anyways and they will just squeeze me in. Came in at 350 PM checked in the front desk looked confused, I explained the situation and I didn't get seen until 5:45 PM I had a final for speech class at 6 PM. If you decide to take online classes be careful you could end up like me log in and check the course the first day of the semester in this case July 19th 2017 at 8:55 AM and see that there are no notifications or assignments post yet. Log in that Friday still having issues to find out you got dropped that Wednesday for not being active in the course. I logged in that Monday to do the Class work knowing that my other class kept me busy tues, wed, thurs. All just to find out that your email was jacked because of the conversion they did in spring, therefore getting locked from your account. I do not recommend this school or the school district it has only been a constant uphill battle for me and to many stressful occurrences. Attend a Cal State or Cal University.Cody

I have been trying to see a counselor, and so far I have come to the counseling department more than five times. Anytime I went there, they said that there are a lot of students so go come back tomorrow at 8:00 am. When I went there at 8:00 am the next day, they said oh we don't do walk ins, you can go today, but for tomorrow give us a call to confirm if there is any counselor available. I did call them the day before coming they said yes come around 8:00 am you will for sure see a counselor, I got there at 8:00 am, but unfortunately again they said that there are a lot of students and they only have one counselor. I don't know what game do they play with students, I missed going to work for 3 days, and it seems that I might not be able to take any classes this summer just because of not being able to see a counselor. I request the authorities of this nice college to pay attention to this problem, and find some possible ways of solution since the students need to have updated Educationan Plans.Tawfiq Sediqi

This college is a freaking mess and very unorganized!!!! Fist visit, they told me counseling was open until 4:30pm. Got there at 3:34pm and said they stop at 3pm. They told me to come back tomorrow and they will do counseling till 4pm. I got early from work the nex day, and when I get to the counseling office, they said they are not doing counseling today! They tell me to come back tomorrow. They couldn't take appointments because they were too busy that week. I come back the next day, my job let me get off early again, when I get to the counseling they tell me their system is down! They tell me to come back on Saturday for the event. They tell me counseling and student services will be open. I'm here at the counseling at 10am, they freaking tell me no counselors today, they are only taking picture for IDS !!!! This is the worse experience I had. Very unprofessional, not organized!!!! I'm very upset!!!!!Miriam Gal

As a young man going to college for the for the first time, this was a great experience for me. I thought I would hate college, since I hated going to school my entire life, but wow this college is awesome. The school is really small. You will learn how to get around with ease. The campus is also on a hill, and surrounded by lovely nature, trees and animals of All sorts. Which I personally love. The tutoring system is amazing and I’m completely satisfied. I really abuse the math and English tutors everyday! The library is beautiful (my favorite place). The food though could use improvements though, but that’s about it. 99% of people are very friendly so it’s a great environment for me personally. I never thought I would love going to school until now thank god wow! I will never transfer to another college I love this place and I can wait to start school again. Rio Hondo has evolved so much since i first started taking classes in 2006. One of the things that hasn't changed is the attention and support that the staff give the students. Many new buildings like the library have been reconstructed and updated to accommodate the return of all the students back to campus after enduring the pandemic. Alos a good place to hike. you can take the far side entrance by the police academy and continue on up the side road all the way to the top. its pretty challenging but the views are great. Im currently taking a ceramics class, and its quite enjoyable and you get to take home all your completed work.Andrew Ramirez

Best Community College I have been to, they have a lot to offer. Their programs help to guide students into their specific major. The career counseling helped me realize which career I want to be in. Also I found the math lab very useful and they even offer it Saturday mornings. They have the best staff who are very knowledgeable and caring and listen to you and offer the best advice to achieve your individual goals. CBU is pretty rad, and I want to respond to what I've seen in a couple reviews here. The first of which is people saying the location in Riverside sucks. I'll admit Riverside is not super tight, but there is the mission inn and a drive in movie theater and a few other things which are pretty cool within a few minutes of campus. The best part of Riverside is it's less than an hour from the beach, an hour from the mountains, and hour from LA and 45 minutes from a few theme parks. So if you have a car and aren't super lazy, your weekends should be fun. And there's always fun stuff going on campus too, (dive in movie nights at the pool, intramural and NCAA sports games, concerts, carnivals etc.) so if you have a good attitude you can have fun hanging out on campus. People are saying CBU wants your money. Of course they do, so does every other university that is in business. However CBU will really work with you to help you afford the school. Get good grades, maybe go out for a sports team or the music department and you'll get even more money. You have to work for it though, they don't give out serious amounts of money to anyone. If your parents are in ministry (pastor/missionary/work full time at a church) you're in luck too cuz they have scholarships for that too. It's a Christian school… Yep. I wouldn't say intolerant though. You will be taught what they believe to be Christian values and you can only expect that. There's like 7,000 students too so I'm sure there are rude intolerant ones there too. I think you will find rude/intolerant people no matter where you go but it most definitely is not the essence of the student body. CBU has a uniquely welcoming and loving community, and that's something I've heard from Christians and non-Christians alike at the school. Both are welcome to come but both also are required to go to chapel and follow the rules. I don't agree with all the rules but most of them are a pretty reasonable balance of trying to give freedom to students and adhere to Christian principles (coming from a non-conservative Christian background). That's part of making the decision to go to a Christian university, and realistically it's probably what's best for you anyways. If anyone has anything bad to say about the food I don't know what world famous chef you had cooking for you your entire life before here. The caf has killer variety, Chik-fil-a is freaking Chik-fil-a, Wandas has great breakfast and the best steak quesadillas, and El-Monte is as good as Chipotle. CBU does give real world experience. I know as a business major there are some awesome professors that are all about real world experience. Dr. Weniger and Alderson are a couple that come to mind. You get out what you put into your classes and almost every single professor at the school is very open to spending time with you helping you out with homework or just life. Academics are pretty top tier, but professors do come and go and though most are great, some are much better than others, so do a little time looking round rate my professor if you want the best ones. CBU is great. Sure there are other universities that are great too (not to many that compare that are in Southern California though) but CBU is a well rounded school academically, socially and spiritually. No school/student body is perfect, that's just life, but CBU is a solid choice to spend 4 years growing academically and spiritually into who you are going to be the rest of your life.Jake Roque

Okay, so I went to this school originally considering a nursing degree. It's hard to have many nice things to say about this school.. The school looks nice, but the neighborhood area is crap. You have to drive kinda far to see or do anything nice. It's hardly in Riverside, CA. Feel more like Norco, armpit of California. They put most of their students in cheap housing. Much of it was temporary when I was there. Other housing was old folks homes. Weird cheap, and kinda gross. The major feature of this school is this: They want your money. That's all. It's nothing spectacular in any way, and based on the price, it's a really bad deal. They "award" small scholarships to practically any student for any reason. They try to bring in a bunch of students through their music school. A music degree is NOT WORTH 100k- 150k of debt. And please remember folks, if everybody gets a scholarship, it's not actually a scholarship. THINK about it.. They just want your attention and your money. ALSO, Please be aware they will be raising the tuition on you every year, by lots of money! If you start at 30-35k, You will probably end at 40-45k annually. It's probably costing something around or over 40 or more thousand per year now. And YOU WILL pay more than you think by the end of the year. It's a Christian school, which is fine if you're a Christian. They are relatively intolerant conservatives though. Very serious/ oppressive Christian all over the place. Many of the students are sheltered, and having moved on to a regular university, I can tell you it doesn't represent the real world experience, or normal people, for the most part. Regarding this: Don't bother going here unless you're a rich serious sheltered Christian. If that's what you value, then maybe you'll like this place. Some of the people are fairly friendly, and the food in the cafeteria was good WHEN I was there. That more than a year ago. Some of the teachers were alright as well. I mostly took science classes, for reference. In summary, if you're not a young Christian who has no desire for real-world experience,then don't go here. The price is so not worth it! It's an institution for profit! Go to your local community college and earn entrance to a great University! Even Ivy league schools are looking to replace young dropouts with students that did well in their community colleges! It's just not worth it. If you're a thinking person, you'll start hating this school not long after you get there. NOT WORTH ITMichael D. Bear

I loved all 4 years at this school! As a freshman, I lived in the dorms and met my group of closest friends that I still hang out with to this day. I loved the food and had to be careful with dessert in the cafeteria otherwise I would have packed on the calories. The school does a great job of setting up events that target every student and gives great deals for other off-campus events like cheap Lakers tickets, cheap tickets to theme parks, and other giveaways. I am Mexican and I have never once felt like I was discriminated against at this school, if anything there are plenty of people at this school who make an effort to talk about racial injustices among students. As far as the incident in Ontario, I just want to say that you can find that level of ingorance at any university and even more so outside of that setting. Two girls made a stupid decision to throw a drink on a guy and they happened to be CBU students. If I’m being real here, CBU does not turn many people away when it comes to the application process, so any person who has higher than a 2.5 GPA will most likely get in. CBU does not necessarily focus on whether you are a Christian or not because they’d rather have you here at this school than at a school where the chance of hearing the gospel is much lower. Now back to the point, CBU is honestly such a great school and if you’ve ever visited, you notice right away that the atmosphere is one that you can’t find in many other places. People treat you with love, respect, understanding, and kindness. CBU is a school that truly looks to serve the students in any way possible and that’s the truth. Don’t let others who are are upset about what happened in Ontario tear down the idea of coming to this school because you will definitely see that the number of students who will treat you with love and respect far outweighs the ones who would pour a drink on you for sitting during the national anthem. The SJVC-online BSRT program is very user friendly when it comes to ones computer skills. There are some minor glitches here and there when it comes to assignment communication. I am very happy with my decision in choosing SJVC to obtain my Bachelor’s degree. If you are a busy Respiratory Therapist do not hesitate and sign up asap don’t waste another year thinking you are too busy. This program is set up for busy Respiratory Therapist to thrive in. I was worried about doing straight online school, however the instructors and the adviser Ernie were and are amazing at what they do! The staff of this school is pretty good with communication, especially the Dean. Whenever i had a problem he was fast to solve the issue. The experience was great. I did have to find my own extern site, but my career advisor was really supportive and helpful. I wanted to attend the Nursing program but no one has responded so I will probably not do it here. Signed the Enrollment paperwork the first time and the start dates were wrong. By the time they sent me the enrollment paperwork to sign that had the right dates I had decided to not go to school there for various reasons, mostly because CCI doesn't work with any bank for student loans, they expect you to take out personal loans and lie to the banks about what you will use the money for (highly illegal). Told the school I would not be attending there and continue to get emailed almost every single night at midnight to sign my enrollment paperwork. I told the front desk staff 2 times that I would not be attending and to stop sending me emails and they continue to email me for weeks. Additionally 3 YEARS LATER they decided to send me to collections for $80 claiming I didn't pay the enrollment fee when I know I did because I paid it the exact same time as another student and they didn't send that student to collections. And since I didn't keep a paper recipient from 3 YEARS AGO then I have to pay through collections. Keep in mind CCI clearly had my email and phone number to contact me over a 3 year period to pay the enrollment fee, for the school I did not attend by the way, but instead of doing that they would rather send you to collections and hurt your credit score, over $80. Not once was in contacted about owing any money to the school. Let's just say I am so happy that I ended up not attending CCI, blessing in disguise.Danica Johnson

This is the most unorganized, unprofessional, unethical school I’ve experienced. They treat their students like elementary children, lie about funds, and demean you like you know absolutely nothing. I had a 4.0 the whole time I attended, yet there was a problem every single day whether it be with the unorganized clinical instructor who contradicted herself daily, or from student services, even the DON. All they want is your money they could care less about helping you through nursing school, or making sure you have what you need. As long as they’re paid, they don’t care. 95% of the staff are rude. My class didn’t start clinicals until mid level 2, when it was advertised and told to us that we would start WEEK SIX OF LEVEL 1. They try to blame it on covid, or the clinical sites, when in fact here just unorganized. Save yourself the headache and the money and go elsewhere like high desert medical college, AVC, even online school.Jennuh Leigh

I went to school here for Medical Assistant in 2016, enrolling was super easy and the staff were helpful with fafsa when I had no clue how that worked. I loved that it was a short fast 9 month program , and in class I definitely liked that the first 2 hours was book work & the other 2 hours we did all the hands on work! I had a great experience here having Ms. J as a teacher she made sure we did everything the right way & that we understood everything . But I do wish they held graduation at a different location other than outside at the school .Evelyn Nunez

yesterday 7/27/2020 I officially graduated from Concorde college (MA PROGRAM) and all I can say is if you’re looking for a school to help you learn about the medical field Concorde is it. They have great teachers willing to help you as much as possible. They have a great computer lab, always open to help! The school is very well kept and cleaned! Staff also does little events here and there just to show appreciation to the students which I loved. The staff here are AMAZING! 2 staff I would really like to shout out are ARIANA HERTZ & MONICA CARLOS! Both of these woman helped me so much and went out their way to make sure i was doing great at Concorde. Security GEORGE was also such a great staff, he always would help as much as he can. But overall all staff is great, super helpful and super friendly. I felt so welcomed at Concorde as soon as I got there! So glad I came to this school because not only did I get an education but I made some wonderful friends here too. I LOVE CONCORDE💙! And highly recommend it to anyone looking for a school to be in the medical field.Isabel Rosas

This review is overdue. But I wanted to wait until I had been working in my field a couple of years to review. I graduated in 2019 with my LVN, and I was able to obtain my license in January 2020. I was well prepared. Passed my nclex on the first try. But I studied and I followed the direction the instructors and staff recommended to get there. Sometimes it felt like they were dragging us through the ringer, when it came to assignments, tests, clinical etc. But it was well worth it. I started my job confident in all of the basic LVN skills. Vital signs, GT, wound care, interpersonal relationships etc. This school taught me so much about myself. If you are considering a career change; or a jump start to your career. I highly recommend. But don’t go here thinking it will be easy. You WILL have to put in the work. Also another tip, communication is key. If you don’t let the school know what’s going on, they won’t be able to help you.Chynna Hooper

Garden Grove Concorde is what you expect out of a school. I love this campus. I enrolled here in 2006 for the Respiratory Therapist program and graduated in 2008. During the program, they provided all the resources i needed to get through all my courses such as tutoring, 1 on 1 help, and most importantly the most friendliest, attentive staff from the front the front desk all the way to the top. i would like to mention someone who has help through my toughest times, Lynda Carlos. When i was having trouble with my application process she would go out of her way to help me. She was like this with every student and every one of my class mates love her. Study! You have to take it serious. Show up, participate, study, study again. I graduated in 2019 Dec. There are some things that I wasn't clinically prepared for once I was on my own. So be assertive when doing clinicals and learn. If you drive be prepared to pay for parking everyday at campus! We had validations but it still cost about 5 dollars. The teachers I had were very knowledgeable and they change throughout the year. Also the teachers gave me references and even job recs.. When I say knowledgeable I mean in the field and nursing stuff not on teaching lmao!! I didnt give five 5 stars because they need a guidance counselor, I dont like one of the receptionist, one of my teachers was very brash, I'm missing some clinical experience, parking, and 3 people I know forsure didn't graduate or get licensed because they couldn't pass ATI. Good college and very helpful education to succeed and pursue your career. Graduated as an MA from Angeles college, CPR certified, and working on getting my phlebotomy license. Currently going to start the LVN program, couldn’t be more excited & nervous but Angeles college really helped me learn more about the medical field. Came in school without knowing anything to learning a lot, thanks to the best instructor Ms. Lopez! A very kind, patient and awesome person. Thanks to her I’ve learned so much and I can’t wait to learn much more in the LVN program. Great staff! The staffs are really nice and Ms Lopez is an amazing teacher, everyone there are really helpful and they are willing to work with you on making it an amazing experience. I remember if I ever had any doubts or I needed help they're always willing to lend a hand. MS Lopez was an amazing teacher, she was my MA/phlebotomy teacher every time I had trouble or I didn't understand anything, she would always work with me and help me understand the material. Everyone who works in the front office are really amazing staffs. As of Oct 2022, the services are open for cosmetology, barbering, and esthetician!! For over 10 years I've been involved with the programs here and everyone is really great. They are very informative and helpful. The fact that studentscan get financed for their classes is so awesome. In 10 months you can be qualified to go into the workforce of your chosen profession! I had a great experience at this training center yesterday! This facility is friendly, has great equipment, small class sizes, and we were fortunate to have a very knowledgeable instructor, Doctor Sergio. We had 5 people in our class, and we were encouraged to practice our skills as many times as we needed. There was plenty of equipment, and the equipment was new and up-to-date. The prices are better than other centers, but they do not skimp on quality. They even had coffee, breakfast rolls and snacks for us! Wonderful school and very qualified instructors. I initially chose this school because it is close to my house, but I am very glad I signed up for their CNA program. Both the classroom and clinical instructors went above and beyond to make sure we were well prepared for the state exam, as well as the office staff, who made sure we had all the paperwork in order to receive our CNA license. I took an ACLS class at the North Hollywood location and loved it! The entire staff was very friendly and welcoming. Not only did I come out of the class learning a lot but I also had a lot of fun. The instructor, Sergio, was extremely educated and was extra patient with each and every one of us throughout the entire class. I graduated from CDI on June 2022! I passed my NCLEX on the first attempt with 75 questions! It was an amazing experience because of the friends I made along the road, helpful staff, and their financial aid! Kim Cooper truly wants to help her students succeed, but you have to put in the work and study hard! There were moments in which I thought I was not going to be good enough to become an LVN, but I made it! Great school, great staff and teachers. their supportive, they work with you and give you all the necessary resources for you to be successful in your nursing career. This school changed my life! The staff members are incredibly supportive and always available for tutoring or anything else that you may need to get you to the end of the program and NCLEX ready. I have zero complaints. All of the instructors, both clinical and lecture, are patient and hands on. And the office staff is just as amazing. I graduated as a LVN from CES. I greatly enjoyed meeting some amazing people along the way, there are some great instructors, Ms. Holden is amazing with theory teaching, and Ms Adele and Ms Mariya are so helpful and full of information during clinicals. There were a couple teachers who came with some struggles, but nobody said nursing school is easy! I passed my NCLEX on my first try and felt the school did a great job preparing me, even during the struggles that came with finishing up in the middle of a global pandemic, the school did great to make sure we graduated in time. Overall was a positive experience and I would recommend them! The office staff is also helpful and usually responds quickly with questions.Gohar Powers

Incredibly unorganized!!! I called a week in advanced to schedule my assessment test. The clerk (lady) confirmed i was scheduled an appointment for 5:30 03/06/19. Sure enough i call an hour and a half to see if i can go a little earlier she then states no one was scheduled for an assessment knowing i had a long drive! If thats how they treat a potential student who is willing to invest time and money in this institution. I wonder how they deal with helping their students obtain jobs after graduation! I am completely amazed how they are still an accredited school.italo guzman

CES College is a fantastic place to learn. Great teachers at an affordable price. Prior to completing the Massage Therapy Program I took the MBLEX Exam and passed it on my first try. I’m now a certified massage therapist in the state of California and I was able to do it at CES College for 1/5 of the price of the some of the other schools out there. Excellent school. They have a CNA program, Home Health Aide, EKG Technician and all sorts of classes. They are ran by two RNs and thats different from most other programs that are taught by LVNs and they included all the equipment in my daughters program. She was working right away before the program was over and over half the class she was in the school some how found funding for. Unfortunately my daughter didn't get the funding but it was still nice to see that they helped many students in need. I highly recommend them. My BLS renewal was coming up, but I work full-time and work does not usually allow me to get time off. When you’re checking the AHA for available places, there aren’t a lot of places that are open EVERY SINGLE DAY and willing to work around your schedule. 👍🏻 Robert is the instructor you’ll meet! He’s an awesome instructor and very willing to help you understand what you need to know. This school provides excellent courses and will definitely be on my list to come back for anything.Johnathan Kim

I graduated from the Dental Hygiene department at the San Bernardino campus. Overall, I had a wonderful experience. The staff truly has your best interest at heart. They will spend countless hours to ensure the students feel confident and prepared for state exams and our future career. The classes are challenging as they should be. If you put the work in, you’ll succeed in this program. I passed all three state exams first try. On the clinic floor there are multiple instructors and different doctors on staff so you are able to learn from multiple clinicians. Beyond the educational portion, Concorde was like a second family to me. From walking through the doors being greeted by security guard LT, down the hall seeing Mrs. Ludwig’s infectious smile, to the staff lounge filled with inspiring teachers; I know I always have a home at Concorde and have mentors I can connect with for years to come.Dani Alcantar

As a student here I advise not to go to this school for the Respiratory Therapist class. You pay book fees for the ACLS and NRP and they don't let you keep the books. Then they don't tell you that you have to pay for the course because it's not covered. This school rips off there students and you pay unknown fee's. I don't advise this school and you are better off going to a different school. Plus for the last term which is the most important they don't even teach you and you don't go to a seminar for Kettering. They tell you good luck. This school is unprofessional and the RT director doesn't care about the students they just care about money. GO TO A DIFFERENT SCHOOL BECAUSE YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS ONE. Concorde has been one of the best decisions I have ever made in my healthcare career! I got my LVN from a different school and wasn't too happy about the experience, so walking into Concorde to inquire about the Neurodiagnostic I was really leery. Let's just say when meeting with Melody Villa was amazing addressing any and all questions I had, I couldn't be more thankful for her and making me feel at ease in taking this step! I started this one month program and I am very satisfied. Mrs.D was my instructor and she was the kindest; most helpful person. The course was very informative and I learned so much through the theory and hands on skills. Ak was very helpful and he made sure we got all our paper work done. Please just go to a community college. These people just want your money. I went in to talk to Yolanda about any existing debt i had with them and she gave me the run around for over an hour and a half saying she was at the bank. Instead of speaking with me directly she just had the secretary tell me she’d be back soon. It wasn’t until someone higher up noticed me waiting and he reffeded me to the financing office. Yet on the other hand all the new potential student were seen immediately and the first thing they had them do was go see if the qualify for financing. That alone shows that they’re only in it for the money and once you get the loan they’re couldn’t care less for you. When i went here they promised to have tutors and great teachers. I ended up with a teach who after 3 months stop showing up. And during his time there he would just have us read our books alone and he would give us the test answers before we took the test. When i would ask for a tutor the people in the office would always tell me they didnt have anyone available. I wasted over 10 grand with this school for nothing.Joel Pine

I oroginally started college in antelope valley area. Where i spent time at avc and lancaster beauty college but I did not graduate And then I started attending Southwest college Where I stopped college again. Then in 2004 I got pregnant and restarted college at Bryman college in West Los angeles ca. But now there closed down and then I started looking to further my education even more so I went to american career colleges. and I started criminal justice at uei twice once in south gate and once in riverside ca but when I checked in this last time I was willing and ready to graduate from uei college I made the time for school even when I was on my busiest days even at while working on the job now im I have three weeks left for college when Im thinking im going to finish college and go to my extern site. It wasnt even happening because all the kids I have. And Im going to another school after this college. Im moving to hollywood after this. And when obstacles comes in my way I avoid them.takieda posey

I just completed my 1st class day. I was impressed with the staff. My instructor seems to be very knowledgeable, and patient. I am an older student with some special mobility needs. They have been very accommodating thus far. I'm looking forward to getting into the course, it seems challenging. They do offer a variety of class schedules to accommodate most anyone's needs. I chose evenings because I'm a night person, but most choose evenings because of work hours. This is the third vocational college I've attended. So far UEI has exhibited more caring and professionalism than the others. The previous Vocational College I attended I was taken back by how the Admissions Director treated students, including myself. I did have a sit down with her eventually. Reminding her that I wasn't a 19 student fresh from high school. I was, and am, a 17 yr. Disabled Veteran. So far UEI has been respectful of my age and special needs. I am very happy and excited that I have successfully completed LVN program in November, 2021, and just knew the result that I passed the nclex-PN exam today ^_^ I have a lot of thanks to all the professors and administration staffs and financial department personnel, who walked me through this interesting LVN journey. I felt very lucky to have amazing lecture instructors and internship practices instructors, they are very intelligent, knowledgeable, and helpful! They know how to teach effectively and efficiently, which makes students learning easier and faster. All the lecture instructors always push us to go the extra mile , they always provide informative materials related to future practices and also Nclex , that is why My classmates and I can pass Nclex-PN in the first try^_^ All the clinical instructors will show you all the skills step by step clearly that you need in the future career and they will make sure all the students understand the nursing skill steps. And they will lead students to different nursing facilities to practice, school help students get all the nursing skills even before we graduate! This college will also help students find good jobs after we get license, they really care for every student. I m going to have a new career soon as a nurse. I had a really good experience attaining my Nurse Assistant Certification. Karen and Eva from the recruiting staff were super helpful from day one. I had no idea what the whole process would entail but they walked me through every step and made recommendations that proved helpful in my career. The instructor is very knowledgeable and ensures that you get what is needed to equip you to pass your certification. The staff continued to offer help even beyond the last day of class. The overall experience with this school is very mediocre: the admin side of the school needs to work on communication and their attitude. The Staff here are AMAZING! Whether your there to take the CNA Class, HHA, CPR, etc… The staff and teacher here are awesome. I took the CNA class with 9 other students and formed great friendships with them, our class had an 100% pass rate on the state exam first try! Miss Mary is a wonderful teacher and whether you're shy, loud, don't speak/understand english, or like me struggle to learn… she taught the class in a way where it was enjoyable and engaging. I recently took their CNA program with Miss Mary, I absolutely loved the course. I did a 5 week program; it is fast but if you put your effort into it it’s honestly the best program. Miss Mary is a great teacher, she will show you everything in the book and all the skills to perfection 👌 made the cna exam so much easier for me! My experience at this school was exceptional. The teaching staff was very knowledgeable and professional. They were always ready to answer any questions and provide whatever assistance that was needed. The administrator of the school, Mr. Richard, maintained an open-door policy and was always available to offer support. As the result of my own personal experience at this school, I also enrolled my children in their program and they are now CNAs.Martina Olvera
