A good school where you get out what you put in. Many trains stop within walking distance and buses as well. Just like any college, depending on your major, you will find good and bad professors. So always make use of the rate my professor website. I had a very pleasant experience. The administration was more competent than other schools I went to and my issues were always solved within a reasonable amount of time. The facilities I had to use for my major were in even better condition compared to some four year schools. The wifi coverage was good. Plenty of cafeterias with the best one being in the E building. Plenty of food trucks with different types of foods. Lots of seating areas with electrical ports. The class scheduling was workable with enough sections to fit almost everyone. Can't speak for any other major but it felt like that overall. They are always hiring new adjuncts so it's not the same professor teaching that one section you need all the time that everyone says is horrible. Always stay on top of your things if you want to have them resolved quickly. That's the part you play in your college years. The hand holding stops after High School. All I can say is, relax a little and have some fun. At the end of the day grades won't show the strength of your character after all is said and done.Mounia B

It seems like professors like the one I got Professor Arnold who acts likes she is going through the motions and don't there . i felt I waste my time and money which I paid out of pocket in her class and is thinking about leaving the college. She is one of the worst teachers/professors i ever had . I think cause it a community college a lot of them are mad cause they can't teach in a four year college through out of the community colleges in NY LaGuardia is the best . That being said she is the third professors that I had that sleeps walks through their class and I had another one that did something that weren't cool and I didn't show up for her class and never got an apology from her. Im currently in my last year at LaGuardia (majoring in business) and i have to say the Business department is full of AMAZING professors. Classes are really easy (most of them except accounting unless you're good at it) and the students are cool. I, personally, never talked to anyone or made any friends because I'm not an outgoing person. The school is constantly going under renovations and they just finished the new library and it looks AMAZING, as if it was a library from an ivy league. Food isn't that great but what do you expect, its school food [not free of course]. My overall education received I will give a 5 star. But as for respect for alumni and help available to them I give 1 star. I completed my b.s in 3 and a half years, I got a scholarship for 8,000. I decided to attend because my best friend was attending and enjoyed the school. I also did not want to attend a CUNY, I wanted to try a private college, but not too expensive. My education received was great, the professors were friendly and well educated as well as had expierence in their related field. BUT I have to take a required course for a masters degree program, I would prefer to take it as SFC, so I ask if the terrier come home program applies and they say NO because I am not pursuing another degree. Well, I’m sorry you don’t provide my graduate program. CUNY wants to charge me 2,200 for one class, I asked if SFC could lower the rate since I graduate there and they made about 20,000 off of my degree? They flat out said no, unless I’m pursuing another degree and would not discount the rate of 860 per credit which is about 400 more than CUNY. They wouldn’t discount me anything AT ALL lol. I would never even consider taking a masters degree program, certification or any other course at this school again. It was very uncooth and disrespectful to not offer any discount especially seeing as they made an immense amount of money off of me. I graduate cum laude and would have attended their graduate school but they offer 3 limited programs with a crazy tuition. Save your money and go to a CUNY for your masters. It’s okay for a undergraduate program but masters programs are limited and the amount they charge for the quality for care and respect for students is minimal. When I went the lobby and cafeteria area had classroom chairs and it looked awful, now it’s all done up and amazing looking lol is that what the extra charge is for ? I would have considered paying a bit extra but the way the man replied via email was kind of snark and annoying. You think they would treat alumni better. Oh well, whatever. They raised the tuition at lease 5,000 bucks in the 3 years I was there and if I’d known that previously I would have saved myself the student debt and went to a CUNY 😂🤷🏼‍♀️ Professors get 5 stars. I am going to be a Sophomore this year and I couldn't be happier with the school. All the faculty and staff made the transition from high school to college very smooth. The faculty and staff care about how your are doing both academically and personally. From the minute I stepped through the door at my open house, I was automatically welcomed with open arms to the St. Francis College family. Everyone from the students to the faculty members are friendly as well, it is really easy to find a solid group of people who will be by your side for a long time. Its also the perfect school for students who want to be highly involved on campus. There are lots of opportunities from department jobs, to research assistants, to clubs and sports teams. I myself am a member of two of their 21 NCAA Division 1 teams, as well as a handful of other clubs and organizations on campus, from Student Government to the Latin American Society. This is the perfect school for someone who wants to be an individual and find themselves, rather than just be one of a few thousand. I took Acting & Gymnastics classes growing up as a kid @ KCC; along with taking other performing arts enrichment classes @ Brooklyn College also while growing up, although Brooklyn College wasn't affiliated with my high school like KCC was. KCC has a great campus for a CUNY two-year college (one of the nicest in the CUNY system being right on Manhattan Beach) and is also the partner CUNY institute with my High School alma mater, Edward R. Murrow whom it operates the CollegeNow! program with. I spent my Junior and Senior years at Murrow taking KCC college-level courses taught by both Murrow faculty, and visiting KCC faculty (at Murrow) as well as commuting to the KCC campus from Murrow for additional classes that could only be taught on-site @ the KCC campus. It was EXTREMELY academically enriching to be able to enjoy a college level curriculum whilst still being in High School; and that was due directly to KCC's collaboration with my high school. My GPA went up as a result of the CollegeNow! program during my last two years at Murrow as did my SAT scores. I have KCC to thank for that. 👍👏👏👏👏Ben Schaeffer

Kingsborough CC has a very nice entertainment program, well-run and well-sited, with both indoor and outdoor venues. This year's 4-part post-pandemic return to their July outdoor series has been a real winner for the 3 weeks of it so far, with decent weather enhancing the winning combination. Performers have commented on how well-received they are when they come to perform there, from an enthusiastic staff that really respects their art, to receptive audiences. That reputation has allowed audiences to see a number of top-notch acts more than once there, as the artists appreciate that respectful treatment. There have been other events there, all of which were interrupted by COVID since it came around, so there will be needed time to get those back on track. There are cautionary protocols in place even now: those attending must provide proof of vaccination, with masks optional. Not sure of masking will or will not be required once the indoor events resume, but it certainly appears that the staff has kept up-to-date with everything necessary.N H Tanner

I went to Nyack College in the city for one year and switched to a CUNY school after as I felt the quality of education did not match the HIGH costs. I remember when I was first applying to the school, I was so nervous about taking out such high loan amounts to pay for one year. I kept communicating this to the admissions person, but he kept telling me that no one could take away my education and convinced me to take the loans. The only reason ppl go here and are willing to grossly pay for an education is the location. I went to school here and will say it is far overpriced for the education you are given. Some staff are great and really care about the education they are providing. Others just read off a powerpoint and have no interest except for a paycheck. Pace is expensive, doesn't help the students getting internships and when the students get one on their own, Pace takes the credit. After graduating, the students don't get a job. One of their alumni just got a good job and due to she owes money, they don't give her transcripts and are retaining her title. Is not possible for Pace to help when the students really need help? This is a good school. However, the quality is almost identical to the CUNY school I attended before coming here that costed significantly less. Additionally, the lack of diversity (granted, because of how this is a private school) is also lacking. PLEASE READ IF YOU ARE APPLYING TO THIS SCHOOL I attended the biology program as a transfer student and it was the worst mistake of my life. Marymount Manhattan puts up this facade that their small class size sets them apart from any other college in the city. Let me be clear: this school has more downfalls than advantages. This school requires their students to take general education courses as a freshman and then again at junior and senior levels. I was a biology major taking dance, film and painting during my junior year. Just another ploy to make more money. I was told by an advisor that I would have to graduate a year late to take one single class in spring semester that was only offered every other year. If a class is mandatory for graduation, it should be offered every year. The shortage of staff to teach classes sets an automatic disadvantage for students. How can they expect a student to return to one of the most expensive cities in the world to take one single class? The adjunct faculty is laughable. I took a painting class and had to buy everything out of pocket. I do not come from money as most students at this school and was told by my professor that my brushes were "too cheap". The courses from this college are impossible to transfer as they are considered a joke at even community colleges. As a freshman my friend failed her first biology exam. Normal, not everyone is able to adjust to a college style exam right away. She immediately went to see her professor about improving her grade and she was told to change her major and her aspirations to go into medicine over her first ever college exam. Is that pushing your students to be successful? Maybe the BFA programs are better, but I have only heard negative aspects about them as well. The majority of my anatomy class was failing and nothing was done by the staff to improve lessons regardless of the countless complaints by students. The graduation rate is laughable. The advisor and bursar offices are laughable. They are quick to take your money for a transcript but never send it out. There is so much more to say about this college but it cannot be done in a single review. Please do your due diligence before committing to this school. I transferred here from a big state school and after taking a gap year. As a marketing major in a primarily performing arts focused school, I sometimes feel like not enough attention is given to the business department, but the small class sizes and very focused attention given to each student in the school makes Marymount, in my eyes, a very great institution. This school has been very good to me and I have met a lot of awesome people and am currently working with the career offices to secure an awesome internship for the summer. The individualized attention that each student gets here is only awarded to this who strive for it, and unfortunately there students at Marymount who don't really try and attempt to get over on the faculty because its a private school. I received three evening robo-fundraising calls within a week that began with the robo-caller saying not to worry, they were just calling to see how my child is enjoying the school. After that, it became a fundraising pitch. If they want to see how my child is doing, they can ask my child. Three calls, all in the evening, within one week, and with a deceptive script. I really can’t explain what I went through with the staff, so unprofessional and the attitude is horrible I always try to be as nice as possible but the way they treat people is awful. They literally screamed at my mom who does not speak any English for not having her vaccine card with her although she had picture of the vaccine but her phone was dead they yelled at her and did not try to help her enter the building at all. One of its kinda school Historic place as it is more than 100 year old school CUNY’S most iconic campus so far As building is quite old, construction is going on still it’s worth taking a walk here Lush green gardens and beautiful library plus awesome walkways and old concert hall and other buildings. If I could, I would easily give York a ZERO RATING! NOTHING against the professors I’ve come across, but the school, policy and registrar/bursar staff and policy are ridiculous. I have been charged, during the pandemic I might add FULL. I clearly withdrew from summer classes and was literally ONE day passed the 100% refund date. After, I spoke continuously with bursar who kept sending me back to registrar. ALL professors assisted in submitting documentation showing I DID NOT CONTINUE in the ONLINE courses. Although I submitted required, and accurate paperwork documenting the WHY I could not complete the summer session, this greedy school is charging me ONE HUNDRED PERCENT for courses that their own records reflect that u withdrew from. Again, let me reiterate this was at the time of a Pandemic. I am now not able to register or do anything until this balance is paid. I think this school is deplorable, too much of the staff is unprofessional and not helpful At all! They’re dismissive and there is never any considerations or flexibility offered. If you can, avoid this school. Majority of the staff are unprofessional, lazy and do not seem to take their job seriously. Imagine emailing your professor and days, or even up to week plus passes by with no response. Some professors to avoid, Darrell Morris- extremely unprofessional acts as if he's paying us to be there and not the other way around. Lovely campus and easily seen from the street. The school is close to public transportation. The campus houses a high school and an elementary school. The grounds can use some work and some more public art installations. The cemetery is gated but plenty of history ardorns the head stones. The indoor exhibit of The Tuskegee Airmen is worth visiting the campus. The stundent art galley is the best. Ask security for accessibility for people with disabilities. Security at the gate will ask of I. D. He is very pleasant and awesome with directions. Most staff/faculty are helpful too. Better to get assistance from the more experienced staff. As F-1 visa international student, I would say that ASA College is a great place for our educational and career goals. Professors are responsive and very collaborative as well as helpful. During my education in ASA College I was able to make friends with students from different parts of world. The most of them are my lifetime friends now. Classes are not too big. Therefore, providing a tremendous opportunity to study and excel your knowledge and/or skills. I would recommend international students to study in ASA College if they want to be ready to compete within existing job market and get a job they are looking for. The college has won multiple awards from the CUNY system as well as other institutions for its ability to grant Associate's Degrees at an impressive rate and to foster continuing education at senior colleges. With a respectable teacher-to-student ratio, significant public and private funding, and a central location in New York City, the learning experience has been covered by many publications and studied by experts. However, BMCC also suffers from a large rise in remedial education, lack of freshman retention, and overcrowding. Due to its larger base of capital compared to most other two-year colleges, expansion of new campuses during the rebuilding of Fiterman Hall was possible. Several trailers are still used as classrooms to this day in order to help expand capacity. Internal programs have also been created or expanded to help with academic advisement, provide online access for registration, transferring to other colleges, and job placement. A diverse student base, some of whom had immigrated to America shortly before enrolling, also makes tailoring a viable solution difficult. Improving the retention and graduation rate as well as the increased financial and academic burdens of a remedial program still remain a considerable problem. edit, update: ended up coming to the conclusion that because all of this uncertanty and my bad living situation I am dropping out, I did all I could, was not met halfway by anone but professors unless I begged here. do not go here if you're poor. Just, no. I can't take it anymore. I've tried to explain my situation to this school multiple times, and I'm left to struggle on my own. I am starving, housing insecure, financially unstable, and unable to make ot to class or properly study because of financial struggle, inability to be alone a place quiet to study because they won't house, and depression. In the end they want to fail you out so you can pay them fees later, I guarantee. I'lll gladly take my review down if it's actually a thing they decide they really want to help me with, only after I have been actually helped, and not as in, money grant to help my situation I never recieve, or new housing program email I apply for and am swiftly rejected because I am not enrolled just enough just yet due to circumstances that are once again not entirely my fault because when I applied here I intended to be taking 16 credits not 7. Let me start sharing me experience with you: I come from a small country from Europe, where we have a completely different system than here that seems to be a completely stress-free. My English level was not so good, and I still find it difficulty sometimes, but it was not a obstetrical for me at all, because all the professors helped me. And I am definitely glad for all the professors that I had, for 19 of them (5 quarters until now), they are all gorgeous. They never stop telling their student to use them as much as possible. They are respectful, patient, helpful, easy to understand, and they will try everything and every method for the student to succeed, after that is up to the students. If you do what the professors tell you to do you'll be fine, and that's what I and all my friends do. And we enjoy time in the class, we work in group, we discuss and bring new topics in class related with the lectures. And what is the beauty of Berkeley College is the diversity that it has. I consider myself lucky to have peers form different part of the world, because in an easy way help me to learn more about what's going around and try to understand other cultures too, thing that is very important if you live in a city as New York. Men lie, women lie, numbers don't; Berkeley College is one of the worst college in America. According to National Center for Education Statistics, the retention rate is 64 percent and the graduation rate is 30 percent. When people see these type of statistics, many people like to blame the students however in Berkeley College’s case, it’s not the students fault, it’s the school’s fault. One of the problems with Berkeley College is the financial aid. When you first come to Berkeley College, they promise you that you will graduate in 3 years however when you have to deal with the Financial aid it’s nearly impossible. Berkeley College operates on a Quarter System. And because Berkeley College operates on a Quarter system, the government can’t fund every quarter like Summer Quarter. This is a problem because students are force to pay large amount of money out of pocket. And if you can’t afford it, you have no choose but to drop the quarter and this will push back you graduation date. Berkeley College is so expensive and such a waste of money. If you’re coming from high school or another college, don't waste your money and your time. This school is not worth the tuition money you have to pay every year. You pay 30,000 plus (about $7,800 each Quarter) in tuition and with the new book policy, you will be forced to pay $300 out-of-pocket for books you will never use each Quarter. Word of advice, if you are looking for a college look somewhere else. If not be prepared to work at McDonald with a Bachelor or Associate degree.Andrew Owens

I had the worse college applying experience. This is for the Paramus NJ Campus. I was a prospective student. Unfortunately, I’m on temporary disability for now so I figured “why not go back to school to pursue my dreams?!”. Well, Berkeley admissions gave me a HORRIBLE experience. They stopped following up with me unlike other universities I applied to. No one knew what was going on in my admissions process. I gave this college money that THEY knew I didn’t have because of my disability because I wanted to attend. All of that for these fools to tell me they’re only accepting a portion of the credits I took for my associates degree. I am going to attend a prestigious university that knows what they’re doing and how to handle their prospective students. Putting effort into this college was WORTHLESS!!! Now a month later after my horrible experience the director of admissions Janine contacts me to stand up for her poor excuse of a staffs behavior. She called to say “sorry”. What kind of BS is that?! THIS IS THE WORST SCHOOL IN HISTORY OF SCHOOLS!!! PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!! If I could give it zero stars I would. This has absolutely been the worst experience I have ever encountered for school. When you need help and try to reach out for assistance no one replies back to your phone calls nor emails. But some how, some way they know how to get in touch with you to get a payment every month! Forget about admission. They sit you down and tell you all these good things about the school and how long the program is for but forget to mention once your course is completed you still have to take an additional 5 week course to take your exit then your allowed to sit for your NCLEX! Oh and another thing. If you think for a second they'll let you see you grade for the exam forget about it. Once you take an exam it literally takes about 2 weeks of waiting to get your score, and if you wait on MS. Provost for your grade it will take at least 4 weeks and don't think about calling or emailing her. She's allergic to responding back to people. When asked if you can see what you got wrong she will say "wE aReNt aLlOwEd tO sHoW yOu yOuR eXam, yOuR tEsT iS pRiVaTe" like huh?? IT'S MINES! So what they do is give you the top 5 question majority of the class got wrong and that's it. The reason why I passed was because I got a tutor and paid a lot of money for it. This school constantly changes it's rule to better themselves and get more money. I really wished I attended another school because the way they do things here is ridiculous!!!! The only class where I enjoyed learning and the teachers were amazing and really cared about us understanding the course was Mr. Ramdat (mental health) and Ms. Molina (ob/peds). They should teach at universities not this place.Moriah Long

I had the opportunity to attend the school for my LPN and RN. The LPN program I will give them a 3/5. The RN program a 2/5. The school is not consistent in anything. They give out term schedules the day prior and then the day the term starts it’s been changed but no one has up dated the online schedule or informed students. Forget ever getting in contact with anyone at this school unless you owe them money, then all of a sudden the phone email etc work. 1/2 the teachers have DISGUSTING, UNPROFESSIONAL attitudes. Don’t even bother trying to follow your syllabus because “that’s just up there I don’t follow that I do my own thing”, as stated by an RN teacher. Or famous quote they love “WHEN YOU ARE A REAL NURSE……” in regards to the LPNs which is wow because most of us attended JC for the LPN so maybe we need our money back since we aren’t “REAL NURSEs”.. your classes will be from 7a-330/4p Mon-Fri.. they like to make a lot of comments about “you can’t pass my class if you are working”.. Every school has its good and bad but be aware of what you sign up for. The cost of this school is very high and you will have to pay for parking each term(it’s first come first serve and about 80+\- spots) or risk getting hit by a car walking if you live in NY add tolls and gas and when you have clinicals you may need to pay for parking. If you come here honestly I would only recommend there LPN program, it’s tolerable. But the RN if you choose to attend try to transfer in as many classes as you can and save up a lot of money prior to starting. Also practice holding your breath because a lot of these instructors are “Vile”N R

I can honestly say that I am super happy I chose Jersey College. They have a team of amazing instructors, that come in prepared to give you everything, all the resources you need to be successful in the program. I am honored to soon be a graduate. It took a lot of hard work, and studying but I could not have done it without the help of my theory and clinical instructors who came In to every class giving their best which made it that much easier for me to give mine. Got my Master in Public Administration from Wagner Graduate School of Public Affairs in 1985. Not an ounce of financial aid – It was my one-hundred percent self-paid onus. Even with full-time work for the duration of full-time study, it was easier than where my Bachelor of Arts was from: Binghamton. Long story short, the Public and nonprofits sector didn't want me; but, made some successes in the Corporate world in Banking, Insurance, followed by Investment Brokerage. My point ? Hunter Business School helped me find a career that not only changed my life, but completely fell in love with. Covid was a blessing in disguise for me, and really made me evaluate how I'm going to change my life for the better. With being let go from my mundane office job, this was my opportunity to find a not only a stable career, but something rewarding as well. When the idea of radiography came up, I thought "This could be something I can do" and started researching school all around Long Island. HBS landed as my #1 choice. This program was not only affordable, but I would've started my career a whole year later if I attended the program at NCC. I would've been stuck taking prerequisite classes, since my college credits were more than 10 years old. With HBS, it didn't matter how long I had been out of school. I was given the same opportunity whether I was straight out of high school or changing careers later in life. Not only that, but with the accelerated program, I graduated before other schools were done and that gave me a head-start on finding a job. Last week I graduated from the Radiologic Technologist program, and I already have two dream jobs waiting for me. Today I passed my registry for my license, and I couldn't have done with without the dedicated staff at HBS. While the courses were content heavy, they made everything so clear and easy to learn, and were there for us when we needed the extra help. Without them, I wouldn't be the ARRT licensed radiologic technologist I am today.Nadin Kayserian

Attending this school has saved my life. It gave me purpose. The program showed me that I’m much stronger than I thought! I graduated in February 2021 from the x-ray technologist program. The faculty is amazing and very motivating. Many times I felt like the work was too hard, but I didn’t give up, and the teachers (especially Abe) really helped to keep me focused on my goals. So many doors have opened up for me since I graduated from the program. What’s even better is that the school helps you find a job! I graduated from NCC and John Jay prior to attending this school, and neither one of those institutions helped me get a job. In addition, the teachers at the other universities were not nearly as helpful and attentive compared to the teachers at Hunter business school. If it wasn’t for this program and all the amazing things it offers, I truly do not know where I would be today! I am eternally grateful for this school and their programs. Looking back, I have nothing but positive memories here. It was a wonderful learning experience! Abe is the best teacher ever. I’ve been attending Hunter business school Xray tech program for almost a year and I can honestly say it’s the best decision I’ve ever made. Usually Xray programs are 24 months, Hunters is 16 months(shorter but fast paced)5 days a week so it’s very time consuming. You need to be 100% dedicated and contribute most of your days studying BUT it’s so worth it at the end! Being out of school for a few years it was nerve wrecking to get into the flow of things, but because of the instructors(Mr.Abe, Mrs. Aggey, & Mrs. Joy) they continuously motivate you to be an amazing tech. Because of my lovely instructors they have molded me into a great tech making sure to be tedious to little details in this field and providing excellent care for future patients. I can’t thank Mr. Abe enough for giving me this opportunity and believing in me! Hunter has changed my life and has made me gain such a great career path and a new RAD TECH family ! Do not waste your money. This school is a rip-off. My daughter took the EKG and Phlebotomy courses and throughout both courses only received one day of clinical in each area and they were not full days of practice since the school does not use manikins and the students had to practice the phlebotomy on each other and they could not stick each other but so many times…smh. Upon completion, my daughter received the run around trying to get an internship, and during the one internship interview that she went on the doctor told her that she really did not have anything for her as she was just asked to take another intern who was a relative of someone at the school, but she didn't what to tell my daughter no over the phone. She just had her waste her time and gas so she could experience an interview and tell her no in person…really? The school looked like a waste of time from the beginning and I should have gone with my instincts and gone to a reputable program.B. Manuel

I did my ultrasound course from here and my experience was great . Dr. Ayub and his lectures was awesome and he is always there for you in any guidance or questions even after completion of the course. The good thing is that they give hospital internships placement which actually enrich our skill and opportunities to learn varieties of cases and makes you confident. After the completion of the course they also help you for job opportunities which is really helpful as a beginner. Currently working in a radiology place and of course highly recommend this place.Dipa Denis

Dr. V is most talented teacher at school giving incredible treatments. I have lots of issues with knees, and after treatments is almost like I never even had any pain in my knees for four years. My knees have lots going on including torn meniscus in both sides & it’s only one tiny thing along other complications with my knees. I graduated March,2022 from the Medical assistant program and start my career at Brookdale hospital this month 5/2022; this certificate and experience was so worth it! Honestly the faculty/staff is very unorganized for the surgical tech program. The only reason I went with this school is because they have many start dates, so when I inquired on the program it was starting the following month. Opposed to waiting 5-6 months to start elsewhere. This program is insanely expensive and definitely not worth the money (teachers/admin do not care about getting you information on time about your classes once you’ve enrolled/started the program. It’s very hard to get direct information.) You can absolutely find a program that is shorter and cheaper- will still get you NBSTSA certified. This school does accept Fafsa and sub/unsub loans. However the NYU program is only $15k but you need to pay in full before it starts and its a 15 month program. Swedish is about $45k of government money and it’s a 21 month+ program depending on how long it takes you to do clinicals. I don’t feel like I’m learning the job any better or faster than I would have at a different program. I feel like they are dragging out the curriculum to suit the needs of state funding requirements to keep getting the fafsa/aid, whatever. I wouldn’t recommend but everyone’s needs are different. I personally wish I would have looked into a private loan and gone to a different school so I could be done faster. Once you’re NBSTSA certified, it doesn’t matter where you went to school at all.j. “Jay” C

I am very pleased with the education received at the Swedish Institute. As a recent graduate I found myself excelling effortlessly. This school really prepares you and gives the students all knowledge, tools and resources to be a leading successful massage therapist not years after graduating but right after finishing school you are already right at the level of experienced therapists. The clients I am seeing now think I have years of experience from the results and the way my work feels and the information I give them when addressing their case or problem areas. My employers are incredibly pleased with my readiness and professionalism which the school really enforces in all classes. This is due in great part to the amazing experienced and active faculty members we are lucky to learn from and the extensive advanced curriculum in combination with an excellent clinic that allows us to get real experience which has come handy in my current practice. I’m currently enrolled at the Swedish Institute in their Massage Therapy program and wow, I’m having a great time learning! My professors have been wonderful knowledgeable people with many years of experience in the field. They have a passion for both teaching and massage which makes class fun and inspiring. One of my first classes was 100% hands-on practice, meaning I began learning massage techniques during my first term at the school. The science courses paired with the hands-on classes come together beautifully as you learn about the human body and massage all together. I feel that by the end of the program you will feel confident and more than ready to start working as a professional in the field. The school is small but gives you a home-y feeling and a great sense of community. It’s a great place to meet and network with amazing like-minded individuals.
