20 Best Acting Programs In Knoxville, TN (2022 Updated)

It has a big reputation that it simply does not uphold plus it is very expensive with tuition hovering around $40,000 dollars and increasing every year to pay for renovations. The Dean of Students requires all students to live on campus for all 4 years paying around $10,000 for room and board. The only way to get around this is if you are married, have children, live with legal guardians, or happen to be a 5th year senior. If you choose to live off campus without approval you might get charged for room and board anyway as a punishment. A large portion of tuition monies goes toward making the Career Center "better" meaning more career fairs, events, staff, and a fancy new office space. Unfortunately, the Career Center is not very helpful. For example, they told me to look at job listing websites (basic common sense), gave me a resume template (told me to copy it), and lastly they did nothing to help me network for a job after graduation. At one career fair there were a total of 4 employers and volunteer/internship recruiters who turned me away for not having a major they were looking for. The student body at this school is a hit and miss. Some are nice people you will make friends with while others are rude, backstabbing, opinionated, and judgmental. My roommates made me uncomfortable, as if I were an outcast. The two of them conspired against me and called a mandatory mediation supervised by the RA of the building who took sides against me. One roommate even tried to get me to repent my sins for not being a virgin and anotyer verbally yelled at my mom then ran down the hall crying and ended up getting her banned from my building simply because she came to visit me without getting their permission. As professors go, some plan important rehearsals, concerts, and events last minute on the itinerary and expect any other obligations you comitted to prior to such changes to be dissolved. In addition, some professors are not very understanding and place academia as the highest priority–no excuses even if you have to work a job to help family or make ends meet. Although I made good grades and attained a BA and a minor, I still couldn't get a decent-paying job because Maryville College fails to prepare students for the job market–it is more of a graduate school preparatory college. As a side note, many of teachers and persons of stature within the college show favoritism so expect this if you are considering attending. Every Freshman is required to purchase the most expensive meal plan. Any leftover meal credits are not transferable to the next semester. I tried to allow a fellow student to eat with me at lunch one day and swipe for their meal. I was not allowed because students of Maryville College are not allowed to give away any more than three swipes per semester. Taste-wise the food is very cafeteria-like; it only gets better when the college shows-off to prospective students. Course material lists only come out a week before classes start so you will have no choice but to buy the expensive copies from the campus bookstore unless you ask your professor ahead of time. The school is very divided politically and trpically voicing an unpopular opinion could result in verbal abuse. Ultimately make your own choice. Not everyone's experience is the same but I wanted to share my experience so that you can hear a different opinion.Megan Sparkes

A liberal hippie commune if I ever experienced one. Every class is permeated with sociological undertones. I personally did not go to college to pursue sociology so this was rather annoying. They preach acceptance and open mindedness no matter what class your in. I am an open minded adult who accepts everyone. I did not appreciate it being shoved down my throat every single class. Look out if you disagree with or take a different view than the professors. You just might receive an email basically telling you that you're close minded and you need to do more research in a very passive aggressive manner. Also, social life is nonexistent as each professor treats their class like its the only one you're taking. Homework, projects, papers and out of classroom requirements are rigorous and make it impossible to do anything but chain yourself to a desk. I left in the middle of a semester due to receiving an email like the one mentioned above. If you don't want to enjoy college and don't enjoy open conversations but instead being called closed minded for not seeing eye to eye with your professors then by all means apply to Maryville College today. 😉jane doe

I graduated Maryville College in 2009 and I loved it. The community of student, staff and faculty is close-knit and there are lots of great clubs and organizations to get involved in. Classes are small and professors care about their students more because they have less students than in most undergrad public institutions. All students write a senior thesis and take comprehensive exams, so you really leave with a lot of academic experience so you are ready for a job or grad school. Yes, the tuition is expensive, but Maryville offers a lot of scholarships so people who don't think they can afford to go there often can. Just make sure that you really understand what you are signing onto in regards to student loans, which is good advice for an entering freshman at any college.Laurel S

Learn from the best. When I was 19 years old, I was accepted to the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute. It was the highlight of my life at the time. The great teachers back then were Harv Dean and David Gideon. I went to school here part time for 9 months to learn acting at its very basic. If you can afford going to the school and want to learn acting from the aspect of the instrument, then I highly recommend going here. The most important thing I learned from this school, is that even if you attend the classes and do your scene work, you need to be out pounding the pavement and looking for work in the industry, an agent and possibly a manager. I would not call the school glamorous but it does show great pride and respect for people who walks through their doors. If you are serious about acting and show business, this is the place to be. Although I am old enough to be the GRANDmother of most of the students, I had the honor to chat with Lee Strasberg himself, one morning, years ago. He spent nearly a half hour on the phone with me – a total stranger. I had acting aspirations back then (I am a freelance writer today). And I have never forgotten his generosity, wisdom, and graciousness to me – someone he would never meet in person. I love stopping by whenever I can, to donate theatre books, costume pieces, and just sniff around who's doing what. I started at the Webb School of Knoxville in 7th grade. The transition was very tough coming from a public school. It's basically like skipping a whole grade without being prepared. After arriving at Webb, my confidence went down and I began not to care about my academics at all. During my Freshman year of school I got cursed out by a teacher at the school in front of the whole class ("Are you a f*c*I*g idiot?") for not knowing an answer to a question during class. I went home crying and my mother went to the school and told them about this issue. They did not discipline the teacher because they said that he (Luke Day) would be leaving the school very soon. So the school completely ignored what happened to me. How would you feel if this happened to your child? What would you want the school to do then? To top it all off, no one even came forward as a witness until after it was all over and too late. This issue should've went national. If it would've happened this day in time I would've been compensated some how or hushed one. Did this school prepare me for college? Yes. Did I hate every minute of this school? Yes. Did I build life long friendships at this school and do I speak to anyone I went to school with during my 7 years of attendance? No. Are there cliques? Yes. Would it be worth it to try it out? Yes. Coming from a public school, this school is like going to Hogwarts almost. It is totally different. There are less rules and restrictions for students and a ton of homework. Since graduation, I have not really returned to the campus. I try to avoid it–nightmare on elm street. Good Luck and pray over your child before you send them to school, you never know where the Devil is lurking. I have others stories to tell but I do not want to totally give away my identity.C

It was Phenomenal, and I'm not saying that just because I went there. There was a real sense of community, and my teachers truly were great (5 out of the 6 teachers I had senior year had PhD, not that was why they were great, its simply a tangible metric of general quality). All my teachers really knew their stuff and truly inspired great interest in their respective subjects, and I really mean that with the greatest sincerity. It was rigorous and combined with the sports I did there at times I was extremely busy, but it was wonderful. I'm now at a top liberal arts college, and I can honestly say it taught me how to learn, and how to handle myself in and out of the classroom. There is an Honor Code, which means people can't lie, cheat, or steal and regardless of how idealistic it may sound, it does make for a community with great trust. This makes for an atmosphere lacking in cynicism, and is very important to the general vibe of the campus (one which is beautiful by the way). Whether in sports, clubs, performing arts, etc… webb offered me a vast array of opportunities which every child can take advantage of. I loved running cross country and playing soccer, as well as playing in the school band. Some individuals seem to enjoy bashing it, but odds are it was because of a reason unrelated to the education or school experience, or perhaps out of spite for how wonderful it is. Simply put, the sense of community at Webb is beyond anything I have seen at the others schools I attended. That includes teachers, who were truly inspiring and very fun people to be around. This review is getting rather long, so I must close, by saying this school truly is special, I grew immensely as a person, in a variety of areas.Henry Swaffield

We have two children (one in the lower school and one in the middle school) that both started there in Kindergarten. They've had an incredibly immersive, supportive and creative environment to grow up in at each grade level. The faculty and staff are fantastic, each taking their job seriously yet making learning fun. I think the facilities are fantastic and some of the nicest in Knoxville, if not the nicest and the new Football Field and Gymnasium are certainly beyond anything I ever experienced growing up! I would highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a top notch educational experience for their child.JT Thome

KD Conservatory is a fantastic, intensive, pro-active program that will teach you everything you need to know to confidently enter the world of entertainment on any level, be that live theatre, television, broadcast, film on ANY side of the camera (actors, writers, directors, producers, all forms of the crew, etc…), as well as build you a rock solid foundation of acting technique, acute physical awareness, and an entertainment business acumen on which to accurately and responsibly make choices about your work. Furthermore, KD Conservatory has not only aided my education and lead me to professional work in my industry, but the school has facilitated the same success to my circle of alumni (of no less than a dozen that I can recall off-hand) who all continue to make money doing what they love- acting, singing, dancing, music directing, directing, producing, and teaching. Advice: Don't EVER accept advice on acting from somebody who is not a successful working actor. Don't seek their counsel because they know nothing. People who say that this school is a scam are either not serious enough about their career to understand the training they really need. OR, they are already beyond the teaching they could potentially receive at KD and should, therefor, already be booking professional gigs. Lastly, BE ADSIVED, NOTHING WILL BE HANDED TO YOU. I have been training at KD Conservatory for 4 weeks now as a Musical Theatre major and let me tell you that this place is amazing. There are some amazing opportunities from training with Michael Serrechia and putting on Musical performances to learning Ballet technique to learning piano, increasing your acting abilities, jazz, tap, vocal performance and so much more!!! My experience was great! My daughter's teacher was amazing! Not to often you find a teacher who loves what they do and are good at it! I'd recommend this school to my family and friends! Went to CAK for 10 years, this spring i was told they didn’t have the resources needed to support me and my mental health and told us that i wasn’t welcome to come back the next school year. I was fresh out of inpatient at the time and in my freshman year. This wasn’t even the worst thing that happened there, I was bullied throughout middle school and none of the teachers did anything about it because it never was physically violent. The school knew about it and never did anything to try and stop it. The policy’s and dress code standards are ridiculous and the school was/is terrible at supporting students that aren’t neurotypical or are struggling with their mental health. I’ve also receiving the same level of education in public school as i did in CAK. The only benefits you get at CAK are the bible classes/chapels which are not worth the money you pay. Just join a bible study/Young Life and go to church to get the same information for cheaper.Emmalee

CAK has been a great experience and the right choice for our family. CAK has provided challenging academic course study, a variety of extracurricular options (sports, theatre, etc), advanced technology, top notch teachers, staff, and administration. My kids have also been blessed to receive such a wonderful education and experience in a faith based school that stands firmly in a Christian education. My kids are not only being prepared for college but for their future beyond. They are being taught to be leaders and life changers in their communities. CAK not only offers a great education, but life skills, friendships, and the love for Jesus that will carry them forward and allow them to make a difference in the world.J S

The admissions process is laughable at best. The facade that they are most concerned with the student's spiritual life and education is quite frustrating. We have had our children in Christian Schools their whole academic careers and CAK didn't think our family was a good fit. We have decided to try Public School. I have to say, our experience with the public school in our area has been 100% more godly than the self righteousness of CAK. God's hand was in their decision. I am very happy I transferred out of this school. Folks who are considering applying here, please proceed with caution. I strongly urge you to reconsider. I wish somebody had told me the truth about The Theatre School when I was a senior in high school. This conservatory could be of great value to up and coming theatre artists, especially given that Chicago has such a vibrant theatre scene. But due to the uncompromising rules surrounding theatre participation outside of the school (which is not an option for BFA actors and an enormous, often impossible, obstacle for other theatre majors), The Theatre School creates an insular bubble in which students can only grow within the walls of their conservatory. However, if the content of what TTS students were learning daily was as rigorous as promised in orientations and tour guides, experience outside of the classroom would not be as necessary. Sadly, the majority of professors (not all) at TTS are far more interested in lecturing on themselves than on relevant theatre topics. This may be part of the reason why there are such harsh rules surrounding theatre participation outside of the school. Without a captive and naive audience, TTS professors and faculty would be forced to do their jobs of catering to students, rather than themselves. Naturally, given all of these factors, the productions are less than impressive, despite the surplus of talented students. It is very hard to do you best work when the environment is so toxic. It makes me very sad that such a bland and disappointing conservatory resides in Chicago. Unlike elitist faculty at TTS (and some students, because attitudes spread), Chicago theatre artists are some of the most humble, authentic people I have been privileged enough of to work with. I hope that my review does not stop aspiring theatre artists from joining the artistic community here. There are plenty of ways to be involved in theatre in Chicago without wasting tuition money on The Theatre School.Grace Melon

Saw Anastasia here on 7/17/2022. The place is beautiful and they opened the doors about one hour before the show started. They opened the doors to the seats about 30 min. before the show. Bags are checked (don't bring a full water bottle, you will have to pour it out or put it in the trash). Pockets will need to be empty of metal as you are also wanded (metal detection) prior to entering. There is full bar service if desired. There are the normal candies and popcorn as well. A bottle of water and popcorn (only one size) cost $8.00. Restrooms are located downstairs in the "lounge" and a small one on the balcony level. Woman, fair warning, the lines are long at intermission. The line downstairs wrapped three times and started back up the stairs. The line on the balcony level was shorter but it is a smaller restroom so, wait might be the same. Seating: There doesn't seem to be a bad seat in the house. One warning for those in the balcony front row (row aa): A design feature takes leg room away from every 3rd or 4th seat. A child can sit there comfortably. An adult will feel like they are flying economy. I've included a picture. If you look at the front row of the balcony, you will see how the design feature (look at the railing) goes into the seating area. I've included a picture of the entry area from the balcony. There is an elevator for those that can't use stairs. Again, a beautiful theater that I will enjoy returning to.Tim

This arts center was a real treat that we accidentally found while passing through Woodbury and is truly an awesome Blessing for Canon County, TN. The art gallery had a a great collection of framed photos on canvas in one room, a beautifuly designed theater for live performances in another room, a room for a gift store and large room for classes or demonstration. In that large room was beautiful collection on hand made woven baskets that were on display. All of this shares the same building with access from Short Mountain Cultures.Danny Moore

They have a wonderful gallery of rotating art, a shop filled with things from local artists, an annual craft fair, and provide education in the arts. I was part of a recent live Dale Carnegie Course. The class was packed full of all those bits of advice your grandparents tried to provide for you while you were growing up and a whole lot more only organized into an easy to learn training process. It was taught by two well trained, supportive, and enthusiastic trainers (Harry and Megan). The trainers provided a safe environment for you to practice the newly acquired or rediscovered skills with the added benefit of the trainers also acting as mentors to guide you through and around any areas of concern. If you are looking to develop your people or yourself this is a quality investment that will provide a many fold ROI as your people or you continue to apply the principles learned in the program and grow into a more professional and mature person.Scott Waite

Harry Abplanalp made the Dale Carnegie course something to look forward to every Friday morning. He made it a fun, and safe, environment for us all to grow outside our personal comfort zones. In fact, several of us were talking the Friday after graduation, and said how much we missed class. We all have a special bond, now that we have been through "the fire" together. My supervisor has also noticed a marked change in me – I smile more, and I'm generally more confident. Loved this place. All the people here are dedicated to helping you with whatever you need, whenever you need it. I would recommend that any student, at any level, and at any learning ability try this course out. I completed the program during the summer of 2020 and after I completed it they hired me to get some work experience. They helped me increase my score by 4 points, which will be such great help in the college application process and with scholarship money. Not only do they help boost students' ACT scores, they will instill values of perseverance, time management, confidence, commitment, and others, in the minds of all participants of the program. All of the staff and coaches are very kind and helpful, and will work with a student to help the student overcome obstacles they may encounter on the test. I especially found their archive of dozens of previous ACT tests and practices, as well as the explanations for problems so I could understand what I was missing, extremely helpful. Being in this program has not only helped me increase my score but it also helped in a lot of other life skills like time management. Going through this program gave me a lot of confidence about myself and made me more proud about myself. It is a challenging program but it’s worth it and you can guarantee to have 3 or more points increase in your composite score if you were doing what you are supposed to do and you are doing it in the right way. I have a giant schnauzer that I knew when I got him would need lots of training just based on the breed. We started with another facility doing basic obedience and daycare, which was a great start, but he quickly outgrew them. He was great with basic commands, but when it came to seeing other people in our neighborhood or going on walks, he had a lot of leash reactivity. As an owner of a dog that would be 100lbs or more, my concern was that he would hurt someone. At about 10 months old, I decided to try the board and train program at Off Leash after seeing a training video of another giant schnauzer. I was super nervous sending him off for two weeks, but his trainer, Sarah, made me feel so much better about it once I spoke with her. She was super knowledgeable and made me feel at ease. When Atlas came back, he was much more well mannered. Our relationship is better and I feel more confident when handling him. I was always worried taking him into public spaces, but now we can both enjoy leaving the house together! Anytime I have had any questions, Sarah has been so supportive and knows exactly what to do! Atlas is still a work in progress, but he is a fantastic dog thanks to Sarah and Off Leash. We are starting some advanced training with him and I am SO excited for what's to come!Michelle McCrory

Megan did an amazing job with our 6 month old chocolate lab. He is a sweet pup with loads of energy. Loved to jump on people and wouldn’t listen to commands very well. After the two week board and train, he listens to his commands wonderfully and we can now take him out in public without worrying about him jumping on others or leash pulling! He heels and stays on our left side, no matter what distractions are around him. Will also sit, down, and place and will stay there until you say his release word. If you would have told us two weeks ago that we would have the pup that we do now, we wouldn’t have believed it. She also kept us updated daily with pictures and videos, so we knew exactly where Tuco was with his training. We can now give him a much better quality of life by taking him on adventures! If you’ve ever been on the fence about investing in dog training or e collar training, here’s your reason to do it- our two rescue hounds were collectively: 1- unable to even sit after living here 3 years, 2- unbearably wild around food, 3- getting in bloody fights after living together 6 months. But what Morgan does is teach them the skills they need but more importantly teaches you and your family how to follow through. “No bad dogs, only bad owners” in my opinion. When they came home they said “freedom!! It’s mom’s house. Let’s fight” but Morgan had me prepared to put that to an end quickly. They’re sitting together doing an extended sit while I cook dinner, one dog outside of the gate literally used to have to be in a kennel for us to even eat. Bought a road king special from Tony. Very pleased with the bike. However i Had a small hiccup with the bike acting up I believe it’s the oil pump from the symptoms and what I read. I called down there and spoke with them and as always they said they would take care of me. Never had a problem at this location. They’re good people and will go out of there way to take care of you. Tony was great during the sale. Very knowledgeable Crew. Our next bike will definitely be bought from this location. I have read a couple bad reviews on here but believe me there are some people that you cannot please regardless of what you do. I called my neighborhood Harley Davidson and they were out of a item that I was looking for so I Called Lovellroad. Harley Davidson and a very nice polite girl name Meredith answer the phone and told me she had a few things that I was looking for. I told her I work at a hospital and that they would be closed by the time I got off from work so I would have to go in the morning But Meredith went out of her way to take pictures of what I wanted and sent them to my phone! ☺️ Oh my goodness I went and purchased a couple of things Saturday morning on my way out of town and met her and thanked her over and over for what she did. We stopped by here to find the perfect gift for our dear friend who took care of our pets while we were away on business. We love Harley Davidson and he is a true fan as well; he owns a softail. We found so many diverse choices from clothing to outdoor grills; it was hard to make a decision. The staff there were all helpful and friendly alike. We found a sleeveless Harley button up shirt with a small logo on the front and a cool larger logo on the back. It was perfect for him. The store was spacious, well-stocked, with very reasonable prices. We would have loved to browse more because there is such an array of neat items and bikes to look at and dream of owning. Look no further for a great dance and music school! We have been so pleased with our experience at Angela Floyd Schools! This is our fourth year at this studio, third year on one of their competition teams, and our first year joining the music school. Our very first experience was a summer camp at the studio. It was a week long program and our daughter had the best time! Everyone was so friendly and we knew this was the place for us! The staff is organized and efficient in handling the day to day business of the studio. We have been so impressed with the teachers. They are qualified and come from dance backgrounds. They are very genuine and care for the child’s dance education. From day one, they have taught proper dance vocabulary for the dance movements. While the teachers bring a fun approach to teaching they also are serious in teaching proper technique. Our daughter started piano this year and we have been so pleased with her progress. The one-on-one experience with her teacher has been priceless. The teacher is so engaging and each week brings a contagious excitement under which our daughter has thrived. Our 8 year old daughter has been dancing at AFS for 5 years. She started out in ballet, but moved to Hip Hop as it better suited her personality. Her teachers have been wonderful to her throughout the years – working with her individually as well as in a class setting. She thrives on what she calls "The Big Stage" at the end of the year recital (which, by the way, is the best run recital in Knoxville – by far!). Our daughter has just started violin lessons at AFS as well and she is really loving it. So much so that she wants to continue with both dance and music. Our family sees this as both convenient and valuable to have both offerings in one place. There are hours to put in – for sure – but any good studio would require that. The flexibility in making up classes is appreciated as well. The staff knows our family and interacts with us whenever they have the opportunity. Ms. Karen and Mr. Alex are wonderful teachers and we cannot believe how much she learns not only in dance and music but academically as well. They presented virtual options so quickly and it was nice to have a bit of normalcy in our routine and continue with classes online. Our daughter has taken all of the summer camps and we felt super safe with the safeguards they had in place and she was thrilled to be back in the studio. My son has been taking lessons and attending Rock 101 for almost 2 years and it is so amazing to see how much he has learned! The performance program teaches kids different genres of rock and includes history of songs/artists. I love how the individual lessons allow the student to enlist help from the teacher to progress in the performance program. My 13 year old has been at SOR for 8 months now and she loves it. Everyone from the owner, to the instructors, to the performance directors pour their heart and soul into these kids. Since joining my daughter has gained confidence and has even volunteered to sing back up, something she would have never done previously. I randomly walked into Gage Talent 4 years ago looking to become a model and was signed immediately. I told the agency director, Rachele Bailey, what my dreams were and that I wanted to do this as a career and she gave me a shot! 4 years later I’ve booked numerous gigs such as: Catalog shoots, bridal shows, fashion shows, commercials, national television shows, print work, short films, advertisements, online promotions, music videos, stand in work, and even a little stunt work. I’ve enjoyed every minute of it! I get to travel, always have fun on set, and get to meet new people in the process. Another flip side to doing this is that I don’t have to see the same “co-workers” everyday lol. I honestly can’t say enough good things about Gage Talent and how mug they’ve done for me. I’ve been with Gage for around 3 years now and I have always been extremely pleased with how they’ve represented me. Any time I’ve ever wanted to broaden my skills, they’ve been able to offer classes and feedback. Most important is that they have consistently been able to book me on some amazon jobs. Such as hosting an online show, getting me VIP access to bonoroo for a miller lite commercial as well as countless auditions/castings for various tv shows. I use to live this Workout Anytime was member of oak ridge location for years. Oak Ridge closed and had to start going to Powell. Went with a different plan this time. I have been to location willing to pay to stop contract when expires. So it will not renew automatically. Was told after I drove 30 mins out of my way on August 11th to Powell location. That I could only do online and couldn’t at location. Then the card I was given has wrong account info and website. Called 3 times to Powell location since and have been given 2 different ways and then was told after moving out state that I need to come to location to cancel. Either poor training or lack of communication between staff members. But I’m the end just horrible customer service. I will make sure anytime I’m asked by friends and family still in area not to use Powell location or WorkOut anytime. Also I never put reviews. But all the run around I have gotten I thought people would want to know.Shannon Duncan

The staff at Workout Anytime in Powell TN are the best! See that walker? It’s mine. I’ve had 8 fractures and 3 major surgeries in the last 2 years. When I come and when I leave, the staff and members check on me. Cindy and the Silver Sneakers are critical for my recovery. At this gym, I can also access the machines I need to have a full recovery. I couldn’t recover without Workout Anytime in Powell TN. Thank you so so much! Update: 4 months later and I’m getting stronger. Although my schedule will no longer allow me to go to Silver Sneakers, with the help of John, Gina & their crew I am recovering! They are my gym ‘family’ 🙂 They help me anyway they can from the time I pull up to the time I leave and I appreciate them so much! The gym has everything I need to recover – with the exception of parallel bars used in PT. The environment is an environment where iron sharpens iron. I have not worked out since before Covid-19. Finally feeling safe and ready to get back in shape and lose weight, I joined the Workout Anytime in Powell, TN. My son has worked out there for years and had told me it was awesome. He was right! So thankful to Cindy who assisted me in signing up and joining her Silver Sneakers classes. She is amazing! Cozy venue that only holds about 300 people. Saw The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night, which was outstanding. This venue has regular productions, mostly dramas and comedies. I'm not sure if they have musicals. They are very thorough with attendance instructions. Located on the University of Tennessee campus. Not easy to find unless you know your way around plus there was construction that threw my direction off. Parking in McClung tower garage or lot #23. Highly recommended.Andrea Breeding

I brought my 9y.o. daughter to her first 'grownup' theatre production- Murder on the Orient Express (she's a big Poirot fan). We were absolutely blown away. The entire production- acting, set design, costume, lighting- just absolutely outstanding. I couldn't have asked for more. We went to see ALWAYS PATSY CLINE expecting college students (we've never been there before). What a pleasant surprise to be entertained for a couple of hours by professionals. I would definitely recommend this show to young and old a like. We're planning on going to more shows there. I have been signed with Stair a little over a year. I'm new to all this, at 50 no less, and being welcomed into such a warm, sincere and attentive agency, was exactly what I needed. Adam is an extremely busy man, his agency has become a huge success in a very short period of time, and he's got a lot of irons in the fire to say the least. Despite this his attention to his talent cannot be questioned. Stair Agency is the most honest and professional in the area!! Adam and his team works extremely hard and it shows.
