Florida College is a private college. Conservative Bible based instruction. There is a reasonable conservative dress code for students that could be improved. It is a four year college, music majors, teachers, preachers, medical. The Professors are well mannered and because it is a smaller college students benefit from the class size. Two of my three daughters have graduated from FC and gained many strong friendships there. The staff is approachable and the students are respectful of eachother. It's a good college, great place to learn and grow as a young adult. The campus is non alcoholic. No smoking. The young men are taught to be respectful to the young women. I would like to see the area the college is improve. It is near Busch Gardens,Tampa, Disney, several beaches. Near University of South Florida many students take dual classes there. Would love to see a law degree taught out of FC.Margaret Jerkins

I've been here for 5 years as a student, and though there are always some things that get under the radar, the people here are good people. Great Christian environment, don't listen to the nay-sayers; if you smell weed every night here, you don't know what weed smells like (coming from an ex-user of such). The only way you can find trouble here is if you actively seek it out; it IS there, but if you aren't looking, you can avoid it because by in large the people here are all trying to reach the same goal of heaven. I can attest to this because one year that was me; I was that kid doing a lot of stuff I shouldn't have, but it was the people here and the encouragement that helped me overcome such things. The classes are good and academics are appropriate with a God centered focus. The social life is the most God centered you will find. Wouldn't trade the last 5 years for anything.Matt Smith

My daughter is currently a student there and I must say her freshman year has been a living nightmare. As a mom walking away and leaving your child in an racist environment is the worse feeling I've ever felt in my life. If you are white you will fit in great but when you are black and a female you are nothing and the staff treats you as so. I can't wait for the semester to be over because she will never step foot on that campus again. This school doesn't deserve a rating and needs to find out what's going on and make things better before things go public. I have had the misfortune of hiring now 9 girls from UT on a rotating schedule( when they have availability). I know a total of 12 girls that have either recently graduated, are in nursing programs, or 2 that are currently in masters programs, the 9 that worked/Ing for me are either recent grads, in their masters program, or a rising senior… So… now of these girls, even though they are nice have any queslificariona to work.. 6 out 9 which 3 of those 6 are or were in honors programs. Have no clue what they are going to do after school. Most complained about the treatment and the overall vibe of the campus. The 4 out of 12 girls that I know are graduated and with a Bachelors degree in Nursing or teaching can’t even find a job and are working in low level paying jobs… practically a step up from min. Wage. This university does not produce graduates that have a impact on the world. The quality of person who is going here 8 out of 10 is not the person you want working for you… This is a school for people who are good test takers but not ready or prepared to be in the real world at all… Go to bigger school that’s not private – private universities answer to know one which is not so good.. especially when it comes to the quality of graduates they are producing and putting out into the world. Which seems subpar at best. Save yourself the hassle, go to a public university. Like USF is bigger, better diversity, better teachers, bigger endowment, better statics with the type of person they produce back into the working world. Beautiful school in a great location, however, if you're looking for a good school with good academics DO NOT COME HERE. The nice look of the school and large dorm rooms is about all it has to offer. As a freshman I went through three advisors in one year without any notification of having mine switched, and I also told my current advisor that I am transferring several times; but I keep receiving emails from them telling me I still have to register for next semester. The advisors here are not really that helpful at all. When you contact any facilities they either take weeks to respond, or do not respond at all. The grading scale is also very odd, so take a look at that as well. My first semester I had all A's and one AB and that brought my GPA down to a 3.8, when in most colleges an A- will bring your GPA down to around 3.9. The wifi is almost nonexistent unless you're using a computer in the library. Please do not invest your money here and go to a more accredited and student friendly college, so you do not have to waste time and stress looking to transfer out of here like many freshman do.Morgan Lowe

LOL this place is still operating? I spent a semester partying at Schiller College in Strasbourg France in 1975. Yeah I know back in the Stone Age. Education? Not so much. But man was it fun. Lots wine and pot and fun weird people. A great life experience. Would I recommend now? Hell no. I see Chateau de Portales is now a hotel. That's great. I have nothing but great things to say about this college! From my very first interaction over the phone with Amy DiMartino, where I had expressed to her my concerns and dissatisfaction with a previous nursing school that I attended in Tampa. Amy, was very understanding, professional and addressed all of my concerns. She was quick with setting up an interview with me at the school and she was a great asset in my academic endeavor at Arizona college of nursing! With Amy’s help and the rest of the staff at AZC I was able to transfer 30+ credits, take 7 GED courses and progress into the Nursing Core program in just 6 months! These past few months at AZC have been the most influential and educational months of my life. It is a fast paced and challenging program, with only 8 week semesters! But trust me, you will learn so much in such little time and will be so happy you did it! I am so proud of myself and feel very accomplished at this college. Everyone at AZC are super friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable! There is so much you will learn at this school! I did a lot of research before checking out AZC for the first time. I had a lot of bad experiences with other schools and the constant going in circles to get into the programs I was looking for. The very first person I spoke with was Madison and she was absolutely amazing she listened to what I wanted to accomplish and where I wanted to go with my career. She also understood that I’m a full-time working single mom and had other priorities. She was very patient, knowledgeable and transparent with me and gave me every little detail along the way through the admission process. In July I made a spontaneous decision to go to nursing school after giving up on it. I toured a lot of schools but none stood out Until, I came to azc. I was greeted with smiling faces. I met with Amy, and she was so sweet and accommodating of me and my family who came in for support. Every step of the way, Amy was there holding my hand and I have grown so fond of the family like environment here at azc. Amy has encouraged and motivated me the entire process . In 2015, I began my journey as a new single mother to a sick little infant. I was going through a divorce, trying to understand what could possibly be wrong with my angel and trying to go to school full time in a new career field. From day one my guidance counselor, Mark Parker was my cheerleader. As a father himself he understood why I was so scared of the unknown regarding my little girl. Classes started and Amy Mercer helped me with all the didactic portions and insured I never said I can’t. Nichole Lambert was and still is the director of the ST program. Many times I thought I would never make it and they all assured me I not only could but would do great. Well then I went into clinicals and met Lucy Alvarado. She pushed me to be the best me and all together with the support of all of Concorde I not only am a CST, but I have surpassed that. I became a First Assistant then graduated with a BPH and now an MPH! A masters degree!!! And I could not imagined I would ever be where I am today without them! One team one fight! I am a ST student at concorde since February of 2020, I love the program, the students and the teachers really try to help you if you are lost or behind. During the covid-19 pandemic the teachers did not hault the program but they instead had us do our campus classes online and we meet up on 'Teams'(or zoom sometimes) 2x a week to go over our class work and go over our PowerPoint. I love how flexible we all are. We still have lab 1-2x a week and sometime split up people to minimize the amount of people in labor. If we email our ST teachers they get back with me within a short amount of time. I'm excited to graduate May of 2021😊Rose Hopper

I am a 1995 Concorde career institute graduate valedictorian of his class I am a certified medical assistant retired now. I went back to college when I was 35 years old and did this so any of you younger guys or girls you can do this. I never had a problem getting a job. Is a matter of fact they are very competitive and at this time there's a ton of them out there certified medical assistant is a very rewarding career. I would like to start by saying that I began my education with USF which was great for the college experience. Ultimately I chose South University because of the accreditation, better fit with my hectic life and because my coworkers at the hospital suggested it as a reputable place to pursue my Masters in Nursing. I enrolled with the online school first thinking that was the answer but I was not happy at all with the lack of customer service trying to get in touch with people was very difficult and I believe that the online courses do not prepare you for the in depth nature of what you need to know as a nurse practitioner. I took some time off before eventually giving the Tampa campus program a shot which was the best decision for me. Customer service overall was excellent, the classes are only one day a week so it still fit my schedule and the professor interaction was what I needed to feel like I was actually learning something. I also was very impressed at how accessible the school administrators and the director of the program are. It is not to say that there won't be bumps along the road but I couldn't have made a better decision for my life and my education.Vincent Papolo

I have been attending the Tampa location and It has changed my life in a positive way. This it the first nursing program that I have found here in the south where most of the administration including program directors are African American. That means a great deal to me because I aspire to equal success in life. I also have been exposed to the best encouragement that I have ever witnessed during my entire scholastic journey. I am looking forward to continuing my education including post graduate degree at this institution. I would have never had the drive to continue forward at this institution if it was not for the exceptional staff that are always readily available to help guide you through your experience. School rating: 1/5 They are very money oriented and not very helpful. They have a tendency to make things up to get you to sign up. The program is super expensive. They kicked me out because my GPA dropped bellow 2.5. OT Program rating 0/5 I was attending the Occupational Therapy program and had a very bad experience. Five students out of sixteen made it to the last semester, which was above average. All you will be required to do is learn how to write papers. If your GPA drops bellow 2.5 you will be kicked out. The worst professor by far is Kevin Bobos 0/5. He brags about never giving a student a good grade. He is the least educated of all professors and seem to suffer from inferiority complex. I have been attending here now for almost 3.5 years. I completed my Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management and I will be graduating in a few months with my Masters. Where do I start?!? I applied to UMA back in May. I planned on listening to what they had to say, then go on my way. I have now been a student at UMA for almost 4 months! Starting with the recruiter, it seemed like a long process, but it really wasn’t. Financial aid was easy as well. Your student advisor stays in touch with you once a week to make sure everything is going okay, but you’re ALWAYS welcome to call them if you have issues. UMA also has a department that you can get in touch with for any personal issues you’re having in your life. The classes are 5 weeks long. You have your instructors number and email if you have any issues. They have a Dean’s list and Alpha Beta Kappa. The resources at UMA are endless. My experience at UMA has been amazing. I am doing the online classes because I live in Memphis Tennessee. I make my own schedule. Attending UMA has been a life changing experience for me. I never imagined going back to school at 43 years old. I never imagined being an A student. The instructors are extremely helpful. I’ve had a total of 5 instructors so far, and they have all been very helpful and professional! (Shout out to Ms. Lee instructing CI100 for being AMAZING!!!) As someone returning to school as an older adult, I'm pleased with how much support you have while taking these courses. There is a lot of material to cover, but if you listen to your instructors and use the online resources you can get the work completed on time every time. Currently, I am taking two courses and I never get frustrated or tired of doing the work. The coursework and chapter readings all work cohesively to help me gain a better understanding of what Reimbursement Specialists, Medical Billing Specialist, and Coders do on a daily basis. Also, if any thing goes wrong with a textbook or assignment not working correctly just call the technical support and they guide you through step-by-step to resolve the issue. The Instructors are so patient will do everything within their power to make sure you understand the learning material. My UMA experience was awesome from the first conversation to graduation and beyond. The support was amazing ever step of the way. When it seem hard and I wanted to give up each week my professors would post encouraging words that would make you push a little harder. The feedback with each assignment and the quick response from my professors were what I need to stay on top of my classes. My counselors were always there for me and checking on me weekly. 4/2019 – I did a lot of research prior to attending Jersey College Largo Campus. I looked into going to HCC, Galen, Rasmussen, as well as other Jersey College Campuses. I talked with all the school counselors, toured the schools, and talked with co-workers/friends who had gone to each school and are currently working RN's. I decided to go with Jersey College Largo Campus, and it was the best decision I've ever made! The teachers truly want you to succeed, they care about your success, you have so much support, weekly tutoring offered by every instructor, and the staff truly becomes your family. The students are also very supportive of each other. The level of education you receive is advanced, you start working in the hospital with patients by semester one and continue weekly clinical rotations in the hospital until you graduate the program in semester six. The other RN programs offered at different schools didn't start clinical rotations until the last few semesters, didn't offer clinical rotations in a hospital setting, and didn't seem to truly prepare you for your daily job as an RN. The clinical experience with Jersey College Largo is fantastic! As a student you’re able to have clinical rotations in the ER, med surg floor, OR, specialty units, follow the residents, as well as many other things. I'm so thankful for such an amazing opportunity. The clinical instructors are great, and the hospital staff is so kind and willing to teach. Also I looked into accreditation and they are fully accredited with ACEN (accreditation commission for education in nursing) Plus I have a coworker and friend who attended Jersey College for her associates in nursing, went on to complete her bachelors in nursing, went for her masters, and is now a Nurse Practitioner. The program sets you up to be an amazing RN but also gives you a solid foundation for your BSN and MSN if you would like to further your career in the future. It's a very hard program, but if you do everything the teachers say…. you'll make it!! 🙂 I've been in your situation, and I know how big of a decision this is… so I hope all this information helps you!! **Update 4/2021: I passed my HESI exit exam and NCLEX on the first try. I’m now enrolled in a fully accredited BSN program and the same goes for all of my original classmates. I didn’t struggle finding a job and was offered positions in ICU, and the OR right out of school. Many of the employers liked that I attended a residency program that was more hands on training vs other schools and I believe that residency experience helped me get these higher level nursing job offers. My class studied a lot! It took a lot of work! I am so proud of my classmates and thankful for this school! I am a recent graduate of Jersey College and I must say I Loved It !!! I mean of course it had its ups and downs because as we all know nothing is perfect but my overall experience was great. Anything that is worth having will not be easy so I will not say that it was the easiest thing to do but it was the best decision I ever made!! I am a current student at Jersey College and so far my experience has been great everyone is welcoming, supportive and resourceful. There are somethings that needs improvement BUT not everyone or everything is perfect. Overall the instructors and administration staff are awesome. I was searching on google and found Rophem, I read all the reviews and found some bad reviews that make me have a second thought about signing up for the class, but my husband told me to call Mrs.Mo. I went through Rasmussen's nursing program for a second degree and found it to be a good experience overall. Having gone through the traditional university route when I was younger, I will say there is less hand-holding and you need to be able to manage yourself to do well. Similarly, the accelerated courses require a fair amount of reading and self-study, so you need to be motivated to do some work on your own time. But if you can manage that, the professors have your back and want to see you succeed. Speaking of the professors, most were quite good. They all have at least a Master's degree, I believe, and all had spent time as working nurses before going into education (with a few doing both roles). They generally showed great enthusiasm in passing on their knowledge and experience to the class and were available after class or during office hours to lend extra help for anyone who might be struggling. My advisor, Kim Edwards, was very helpful if I had any questions regarding things like pre-reqs, the curriculum and needed courses, or in connecting me with any of the school's services, like tutoring or advice for reason grads looking for a job. Not everything was perfect: as a smaller school, the others in the area seem to get first picks on clinical sites, and there was some disorganization in figuring out where we were going in the midst of the pandemic, but everything worked out in the end and I still managed to have some great clinical experiences. Overall, I would say that if you want to get started with school, get through it, and get to work a lot faster than at a traditional college or university, and you're willing to put in the effort required to do that, Rasmussen is definitely not a bad way to go.Zachary Jacobs

Wow, it has been a bumpy road in my nursing journey to say the least, but Rasmussen University Brandon/Tampa will always hold a special place in my heart. They accepted all of my transfer credits from NY and I was able to get right into the nursing program. Although everything was in utter disarray when I started attending Rasmussen during the middle of Covid, they made every effort to lessen the difficulties and yet provide me the ultimate nursing experience. They really made an effort to meet all of our needs, no matter what they might be, and made continuous attempts to foster and support academic performance. The professors will challenge your routine thinking and mold you into the best nurse you can be. Their love for education and their passion for nursing will inspire you to want to do well and more importantly, help people. Where do I start? I am in nursing school at Rasmussen University! Previously I completed prerequisites for another nursing school, but I wanted to weigh out my options. A friend of mine referred me to Rasmussen in July of this year, I gave a call to the school, completed all the requirements that were needed and was enrolled and started this month (October)! Throughout the entire process I was guided by an amazing Admissions Advisor, Mrs. Nikinna Stroud. She not only guided me, but she became a person I can confide in because she encouraged me even when I did not think it was achievable. I had personal things going on and she still was there to push me to do what I know is right. To this day, I have told so many people about her in my city and referred them to her. I do not recommend the nursing program or SPC for that matter. The program was very poorly organised which makes an already difficult curriculum that much harder. When they would change class times or agenda's day of they would say "well this is how it's going to be as a nurse so get used to it", highly unprofessional. I was enrolled in the evening program. Most of us in evenings have jobs and/or child responsibilities in the day. After spending thousands of dollars on books supplies and curriculum I was forced out of the program after completing 1 semester because they decided to change clinical start time to 8 am in an "evening" program. I asked for special consideration and was denied. I appealed and had the meeting cancelled 3 times by the dean. I wrote a letter to the college president and was ignored. My boyfriend and I needed to get a routine cleaning done and really wanted to try out this program. Though it took us up to the day of our (cross country) move to get an appointment (about two weeks to schedule something with them), they were really accommodating, completely understood our situation, and allowed us to do our entire session that day! Something which, I'm sure, does not happen often. But they were all so understanding and helpful. And if that wasn't enough, it is a super cheap service, and helps these students get to where they need to be for their future careers. Thanks again! Took my Local anesthesia course for Dental hygiene here. The program was great!!! would definitely recommend to anyone and everyone but what really made my experience was the staff!! Joan Tonner the program director was absolutely amazing!! She was everything you would want in a program director!! My clinic instructors Jessica Walker and Holly were exceptional!!! I had to take this course as a job requirement and i wasnt excited about it but after this course and thanks to my amazing instructors i am so happy that i did this and feel so confident in the skills that i have learned!! Unaccredited, on probation, unable to receive financial aid, super shady business practices, constant policy changes to fuel a desperate need for cash – need I go on? Staff was disorganized and unqualified. Power and internet would routinely go out due to unpaid bills. Zero on campus resources for students, yet you’re billed for them. Lab equipment was old or nonexistent. The clinical experience was mediocre – frighteningly so. So much in fact, that they require you to individually seek out over 300+ hours of “externship” shadowing a registered nurse. They promise placement assistance initially but when the time comes they don’t offer it. The facilities I contacted to try to secure those hours were just as confused as I was. Some semesters we wouldn’t find out our class schedule until the day or even hours before. Then it would be changed several times over the course of the class and we would all have to scramble to accommodate. Classes themselves were rushed and the material was irrelevant or shallow. Until you get to the mandatory exit exams – which are an extra $2,000 and include a mandatory VERBAL exam – that’s when they slam you with the difficult content that they failed to teach you. Throughout all of this, emails and calls were ignored or continually deferred. You receive no backing in the form of an advisor – not an ounce of advocacy for your right as the consumer. I decided it would be best for my future and my sanity to leave and seek education elsewhere. With that said, even if I had somehow made it out with a licensure I still have zero faith in the quality of education received. I would have been woefully unprepared and a danger to patients. I’m truly baffled that they’ve managed to remain operating for so long.Kat Cyr

It’s really 0 stars. Everything you read negative about this school please take my advice and believe it. Don’t waste your money, energy, & time at this school. I started Nov 29th 2021 the classes were not even showing up on the website for me to look at the syllabus and assignments. I “the student” had to call the school & notify them of the problem… I sent a email to one instructor instead of her helping me she decided to reply back 8 days later & expected me to had completed an assignment that she failed to send to me. Another issue is they give out too much busy work. Accelerated programs have a quiz n test weekly. Not this program. It had for one week 6 assignments due. The week of Xmas I was blocked from getting into the website to do my assignments for my two classes. This school is a hot mess & a waste of time. There’s no structure at all. I think the online program at this school is a learning process & as of now it’s not worth the 3k.highly favor

I attended my ASN at the school. I commuted weekly for two hours to get to school but it was worth. The school like any nursing school had its problems but overall the education was really great and i passed my board and am currently working in Hospital Peds Unit. I like that it was affordable , well when i went there it was affordable. I dont have a lot to pay back in student loans. Everyone was very nice and friendly expect for one instructor who was rig and not accommodating. Would i recommend someone there YES, i passed the boards and so did my friends and our classmates. It was overall a good school. They just need to be a little more organizedAlice N

UPDATE: On October 21, 2022, I received a call from the director of the campus. They gave me time to state my concerns, state my requests, and ask questions. I was able to receive everything that I asked for. To the director of the Tampa campus: Thank you for all of your help and well wishes in my future endeavors. _______________________________________________ I attended Jersey College’s (Tampa, FL) LPN program from January of 2022 to June of 2022. I was put on academic withdrawal for failing their Anatomy & Physiology class for the second time. The overall passing grade for this school is a 73. I had a 70. There is no room for redemption at Jersey College. If you fail a test, that is it. You have to wait until the next exam and do better. With A&P being as complex as it is, there is no lab to attend. You just have your textbook and lecture days. I had a decent instructor, but getting their help through tutoring wasn’t possible because they were constantly tutoring the RN students. You have no choice but to leave “mandatory” lectures, go home, and teach yourself through other sources. As of October 2022, I am unable to attend my school of choice because Jersey College told me that they will not release any documents pertaining to the classes I took there and the grades I received until I pay my balance. I was told that the school I am wishing to attend can send a form to have my transcripts sent over. The school sent the form twice, and has yet to receive my transcripts. I attended three classes at Jersey College. This balance, which is over $7K, is beyond inaccurate considering the fact that they have charged me for a “Academic Year 2,” which is a term that I have not stepped foot on their campus for. I am expected to pay a balance that has not been corrected. I wish I had positive things to say, but I need others to be aware of this school’s dishonorable actions. On the Florida Department of Education website, you will find the primary rights of parents and eligible students under FERPA are the right to: • Inspect and review education records • Seek amendments to education records • Have some control over the disclosure of information from educational records If you are considering attending this school, please be cautious. I want to start by saying thank you to all the administration and instructors at Jersey College in Tampa. Attending this school was the best decision I have ever made professionally. Jersey College and the staff gave me the opportunity for a whole new life. This school was not just an education. It changed my life forever, I never thought a school would have such a huge impact on me. The way the instructors and administration care about every student is remarkable. They want everyone to succeed, and they will give you every resource available to make that happen day or night. I can not thank Jersey College enough. If it wasn't for the amazing instructors encouraging me to push on and follow through, I would not be a nurse today. If anyone is thinking about becoming a nurse, talk to this school and give them a chance. Another thing I like about this school, is I did not feel like a number. They made me feel like a human being and every instructor and administrator knew my name before I knew theirs. Jersey College changed my life forever. Not a great nursing program. Not worth your time, money or mental health. It’s better to go to Hillsborough community, buckle down and make the grades. This school advertises inspiring success stories and that they’re here to help us meet our career goals and that’s just not the reality. In my own experience, when I was attending, their passing grade for a term is 75. I made a 73 in nutrition and they made me repeat the term. They then a term later changed the passing grade to 73 and I did not get credit nor refunded for the second time I had to take nutrition. (Which I passed). I am actively paying on a loan and they will not release my transcripts for another school so in return this is holding me back from accomplishing my career goals. Which is opposite of what they say they stand for. I am not here to slander but to share my experience that I am having with this nursing school. Be smart about how you choose your nursing program, do your research and ask questions.Eleanor Benjamin

My daughter went here for LPN program, a total waste of money and time. About to graduate, all her training has been aimed to caring for the elderly ,her clinicals were at a Nursing home. Never exposed to a real clinic scenario, never introduced to EKG, Injections, any labs nothing!!! I feel she was trained as a CNA… and not even that. I feel robbed.Kathya Balza

DO NOT ENROLL HERE. USF sent me to the St. Petersburg campus because the Tampa campus was “full,” despite there being off campus housing options still available. In summary, they relocated me to another campus that I did not want to go to rather than just inform me that I would not be able to have access to on-campus housing. This is absolutely unacceptable behavior that no university should ever engage in. I am utterly dissatisfied and enraged at USF for doing something this outrageous. Shame on them!CervezaCuba

USF has such a beautiful campus based on the tour that I went on. Considering the fact that I haven't applied yet, I can't speak on the financial aid and things such as that. There's nothing at the moment to speak negatively on besides the fact that there's an amusement park literally across the street which causes a lot of traffic.Jordan A

They enroll so many students and cannot accommodate all of them. Finding parking is horrendous for commuters. Some days I can’t make my way to class because there’s no parking. Sometimes I miss breakfast because the MSC has no parking.Michael Marinelli

The admission process was painless. New student orientation established expectations. The facility is responsive and always encouraging. The bulk of the coursework is online but instructors are easily reached for questions and technical assistance, even classmates offer a helping hand.donna dean

Have a family member who attends here. This college isn't run well at all. Just signing up and transferring records is an unnecessary nightmare. Financial aid offices appear to be set up to get kids into debt, not help them. Help for autism is nearly non-existent and SPC Gibbs is unshakably unapologetic about that. This lack of appropriate aids result in lower grades than attending a brand name school would have, so think twice if you're attending to save on funds until you can get to the college of your choice. You may never get the chance to attend that college as your grade point average will have dropped. (There's a reason disability aid is necessary). The financial aid dept will leave you in a position where if you're not constantly checking, you will be in debt. Worse, if you have to re-take classes due to your disability, you will have that debt as well. Better to go straight to a high end college and skip the community college here or you may never have the chance. It's detrimental to your future to not receive proper help and the area is so used to this attitude from the college you will likely not receive help elsewhere to try to fight it. There are other colleges who help the disabled. This one sets even extremely promising students up for failure. -Update: Important if you are a biology major – SPC will cut Fafsa in half for taking classes required by the state for biology, claiming they're not important for your major. The school very much appears to have interest in keeping the students in extra, unnecessary debt.Suitably Generic

Having attended a state college in another state, I recognized when I began my education at SPC that it was as excellent school. My experience at St. Petersburg college has been wonderful. I truly appreciate the quality of the education I have received here. I have attended on campus and online courses at the college. Both have been quite good. What most impresses me about SPC is the attention and care I have received as a student there from members of the staff at any point I have needed help with a problem. I feel that the professors are committed to their work and provide a great educational experience. I have felt challenged and supported in every class I have taken at SPC. The school is efficiently and effectively managed. The president of the college, Dr. Williams, genuinely cares about SPC students and their success. I feel fortunate to have attended SPC and to be receiving my degree from here at the end of the year.Nature Lover

Updated review: I get why people recommend SPC now. I'm halfway through my journey. Strictly online and I couldn't have asked for better professors. The material and labs are so great. It's a lot of really good material they teach. The professors are prompt at answering any questions I have. You can really tell that they want you to succeed here. I'm glad I found SPC to get my degree. Couldn't have asked for a better college. Plus it's really affordable! Huge shout out to the amazing professors. Great group of people.
