I wish we had never sent our student to TLU. It is way too small and everyone is overly concerned to be in everyone else's business. The Men's Soccer coach (Eddie Salazar) makes the recruits think he is a nice guy and cares for his players. As soon as they get on campus he becomes a complete Ass. He burns through players so fast and does not care for them personally at all. Our son could not leave there fast enough. If you get the chance to go make sure to visit the National Shrine Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes, it's a very beautiful place. The housing staff is horrible, they have put 2 charges on my account and they admitted to not knowing how they got my name however they refused to take it off even when the camera showed I never stayed, 3 weeks later I spoke to Hr for them to remove it and they did it the same day. The other one was removed 2 weeks later after the payment date. I would also recommend you bring in your own food or check it before leaving the dinning hall. I found so much mold and was served under cooked to many times. The drinks apply as well check the ice whole before u get if there is black stuff around it use the other machines.(not sure if they are gonna clean up before the fall but there is also mold in between the soda machines) Not only the dinning side but be careful with the soda/juice in the deli side the they both are spoiled. And check the expiration date of each snack you do choose to take I had 3 month old jello and I still can’t get that’s fussy taste out my mouth. Either side will not hesitate to sell old milk or old food and bunch it all up to be given out on the weekends. There is a wëëd problem at this school as well so be careful because if anyone in your dorm doesn’t it you maybe be accused of doing it as well by the campus police. Not on to the professors, you need to hold some of their hand and walk them three days the grading process. I had 3 professors(1 was in person and the other 2 was online) last semester wait til the end of the semester to grade everyone from my midterms to out introductions at the beginning. For online teachers make sure you double check their comments after they grade and read up on stuff ahead of time so u can message them early because they don’t respond to message in a timely manner. Navarro College was STELLAR! As a former Bulldog, I'm proud to have called this school my home. Professors are knowledgeable and interesting individuals, the staff are all charming and helpful, and the atmosphere of the entire facility is one of safety and growth. The staff at the Corsicana campus are very rude. Upon inquiring about something the registrar didn’t know about; she went on to yell at me over the counter while the lobby was full of other students. There are only a handful of instructors that are dedicated and willing to see their students succeed. After all we pay to go there and I believe that the students need to treated with a bit of respect. The Cashiers are generally nice and will help you out.Nethmal Perera

I really question whether anybody that says UM is racist/riot fueled has ever been a student here. I can personally attest to the acceptance and diversity of the school. I've liked most of my professors, and other students have been friendly. I can honestly say that I've learned a lot from my classes and have been presented a lot of opportunities to succeed. If anyone works hard to get here, Ole Miss has many teachers and programs to reward you for your effort. That's what I look for in a college. We get bad press because we are in the South and it makes us an easy target for the media. They like to play off the stereotype that we are some backwards racists. Ask any student here about the "riot" and they'd probably laugh. I would challenge anyone to find a college that doesn't have any students that discriminate. Ole Miss is absolutely amazing! I love it for undergrad I am enjoying it for grad school and the advisors are one of a kind because they are actually invested in helping the students! I will say that as a commuter paying out of state tuition is not that great, if I can drive there daily I should be able to pay in state tuition. Also, it takes a while to get your financial aid, the office is always working and have people on task but if you can’t get into the office for some reason email, phone calls, and zooms as your secondary option takes much longer. As a parent, teacher, and full time student I rely heavily on my financial aid and each time it is just a hassle, I wish the process was smoother.Katrina McCrackin

Oxford is the best place to live in the south. There's always something to do and a great place to raise children. I loved attending Ole Miss and love my Rebels! I can't really complain about anything. We're close enough to travel to a beach, casino, Beale and Bourbon Street, yet we'd rather be sitting in The Grove on a home game weekend. First off, it is an institute of technology, not a university. NASA applications say "Technology institute graduates need not apply." NASA isn't alone in this. I had 5 different advisors by the end of my 1st month. No one could be bothered. My final advisor was the department chair, and when he "helped" me sign up for 3 classes, 1 was class was held in Washington, and another class wasn't even scheduled for that term, so I was left with one class that term. The next term, like the term before, I needed a unique password to register for classes. Only problem was the only person who could give me the password, my advisor, was on vacation. I had to talk with his superiors to get him to reply to my email for the password. When he replied, he had an attitude. This kind of think happened in so many different ways, I just washed my hands of this school. It took them 3 terms just to get me my student ID card. Anytime I had a academic, not scholastic, question, it usually takes about 2 hours of being bounced around from building to building, often the same buildings, having to talk to the same people, because no one can be bothered. Eventually after the 3rd time of me coming back to someone to ask the same question, I'll get a big sigh and finally an answer.Tim DuDD

OIT is a great school of Engineering. Pros 1- Average students in the class between 10 to 25, so that is very good to ask and participate as well as most of the professors can easily recognize each student. 2- Reasonable professors. 3- OIT located in Klamath City which is small and cheap town. 4- Easy to get high grade if you do all your HW, NO absent , more participation. 5 – Library stuff is very helpful. 6- Safe and good place to study in. 7- US News classified Oregon Tech as one of the best five universities. I've worked at four public universities across the country, and Oregon Tech has the most engaged and dedicated faculty and staff I've ever encountered. Students benefit from small class sizes and many opportunities for hands-on applied learning. Students I assist in Career Services are focused, dedicated and mature. The administration is proud of being career-focused but also recognizes the benefits of teaching soft skills. Oregon Tech is also increasing its emphasis on providing students with experiences that will translate to exceptional workplace skills, like working on cross functional student team projects. ACC is the best Community College in Colorado period. A large fraction of the teachers employed here are ex-Ivy League professors. My intro to business teacher was a top business professor at Clemson University. Most professors have PhD’s as opposed to a master’s degree. The grading process is very fair and these professors really care about your education and will go above and beyond to see that you succeed, granted you actually seek the help this is college people the teachers most likely aren’t going to come to you. There are so many different resources, including, but not limited too: Free tutors who are amazing ( in my opinion better than if you hired one), teachers who actually care about your future and present situations, book store/school supplies store on campus, a cafe with Caribou coffee, a milkshake machine and other great snacks, there are plenty of different areas to do school work or study that are very comfortable and convenient, they have hundreds if not thousands of majors and minors to choose from you want it, they’ve got it and so much more. Arapahoe Community College is by far the greatest her in Colorado. It is not overly priced the tuition rates are so great basically you can receive an Ivy League education for 10-15k per year. It’s an amazing way to save money especially when you are planning to go to a big university. Better to spend 10-15k on required pre- requisite classes, AKA GenEd rather than 25-75k. And since ACC has such amazingly qualified professors you won’t be behind , or unable to transfer successfully to a 4-year university, you will be able to make a smooth transition. Veteran student here, all I can say is this school has been a waste of my benefits. The administration is aware that they are understaffed, busy, and stretched far too thin. Though nothing has changed not just with ACC but CCCS as well. There was a total of 4 semesters dealing with covid and distance learning, and there was no change in how it felt to learn from Spring 2020 till this past Spring 21. Four semesters with no change in how classes are taught, how students are engaged, how professors make sure that you are understanding the information, the list goes on and on. I had given up in most of my classes that I took here. I have felt everything but motivation, and determination to want to participate and study. The course I am studied in was faulty and dated. The introductory class alone is dated and will not prepare you for what it is to be an interior designer let alone give an actual representation of the work done in the field. I didn't learn to sketch, read floor plans, study the design process, bubble charts, box charts. I LEARNED HOW TO DECORATE. It was also very clear that if you wanted to decorate and only decorate you would do well in this program. I can’t believe how much this organization has failed its students and faculty. I’m seriously contemplating whether I to stop attending ACC. It doesn’t make since that online classes cost $100 extra per credit when a professor has you read chapters, and answer the chapter questions and do a weekly discussion question. There was no feedback to where I could know if I was grasping the concepts. I’d rather research what books each class provides and read them on my own then Pay $900 to a teacher that doesn’t communicate with us at all. On top of that, I experienced a micro-aggression during my final presentation where my professor asked if my business sold burritos because we were a Latino museum… This school needs to work with educating their teachers to learn how to treat their diverse students with respect and dignity. Baylor is an amazing school. For a few reviews before me we are not all "rich kids wanting to blow daddy's money" or "rude". I personally have a bad background that would not match the first statement. I am not rich. I am blessed to be in this university thanks to scholarships and my hard working mother. Baylor itself is a blessing. Its a rigorous school BUT very well worth it. I love being part of the Baylor community. Its a beautiful campus filled with loving people. Its not "perfect" because nothing is. There will be a few issues like yes there are some kids who don't care and my be rude or blow things off but really if you are a part of it you will see the majority of the campus and the people here are more than amazing and loving. This is a fantastic university for the liberal arts. I have talked to people from other universities and to those that have come to visit me at college, and all of them see a difference in the student body. There is just a different atmosphere. All the people are kind and welcoming and always willing to help in times of need. The professors are nationally ranked and are not only outstanding in their fields of study, but wonderful people as well. Even if you're not looking to go to college, its a beautiful campus to just walk around in. It's almost like a park in some ways. Just give it a visit and I promise you'll be hooked! I loved my time as I attended Baylor for undergrad, and grad school (2008-2015). The campus has changed so much since i first step foot in 2008 (all for the better). Baylor (and Waco) is in a resurgence/growth period. Its an awesome time for Baylor and Waco. I loved my time there even though I'm not religious (agnostic/theist). Great people (students and especially faculty), and community. There was a reason why I came back to get my masters at Baylor. They helped me get through some rough times, and i am better for it now. Biggest mistake of my life was coming here. Professor moved away putting my graduation on hold for years. When I switched majors to avoid this I was prohibited from getting anything but Fs by a biased individual despite another professor telling me I was the best writer in the entire university. The records department is extremely difficult to get a hold of and seemed to not want to help with issues regarding prior classes and transcripts needed to attend a senior college. I work here as staff and find the working environment pretty good. My bosses have been good, my coworkers are dependable, and the students seem well behaved and conscientious (most of the time). The new buildings are nice, and the harbor walk is kind of amazing, and the beach is very chill. Good luck finding a place as tranquil anywhere else near the city. There is however one small con and one big con.. the small con is that there aren't that many places to eat and Sodexo runs all the food on campus, and their attempts at ethnic foods are sad. And the aforementioned big con is that there is no less than 3 buildings being built on this tight peninsula right now, and one huge building that was taken down over the year I've been here.. the construction is a mess. UMASS Boston has a Beautiful campus on the waterfront! It is building two Brand new buildings as student housing with a dinning hall on the first floor, overlooking the Boston harbor with a million dollar view. UMASS Boston has a collaborative research program with Dana Farber Cancer Institute that students can be a part of. I love the new Integrated science center, incubating many New exciting NIH sponsored science research studies. It is an exciting time for UMASS Boston which has a new chancellor with generous scholarship. Chancellor merit scholarship will allow students to get world class education for free.Khuong Nguyen

I am a student here at UMB, the professors are great. The administration is bureaucratic and inefficient and lacks transparency on any basic level. Parking here is dependent upon arrival time. If you get here at 10:20 good luck finding a space in bayside, probably will have to park at the globe. Clinical placement sites for Nursing are good, labs are good, the school is constantly under construction and areas are always being blocked off. Parking will soon cost between 9-15 dollars a day according to emails from the uni. So it’s alright but the university is slowly draining the life of its commuters.Bill Whitney

I would not recommend this school, I am truly and whole heartedly regretful of choosing this school over all of the other options I had. Something about this school stood out to me, and the counselors here try really hard to get you in. I do not identify with Christian faith and I am not religious at all so I initially felt weird about going to this school, but they mention multiple times that they accept all faiths and backgrounds so I felt better. However, upon talking their forced “Christian Worldview” class, the teacher grades with an iron fist for a 101 class and is just awful. My GPA for sure was going to plummet due to this stupid 101 class that they force on you. Honestly it was so ridiculous that I felt the need to reach out to my advisor. I was trying to come up with a solution because I felt some type of way about this. I suggested them placing me with a different teacher, since this teacher has AWFUL reviews going back years yet they do nothing about it. However they pretty much told me I still had to take the class, I could not switch to another teacher (you cannot pick your own teachers by the way which is huge for me now). Their only solution was that “another teacher would review my work.” This turned me off so bad from the entire school that I ended up withdrawing due to principal which messed up my financial aid. They honestly did not care one bit and obviously know there is a problem but do nothing to address it. I was so turned off that I chose to mess up my financial aid and just pick another school, there was no way that I was finishing out my degree here after this. Go elsewhere !!Taylor

I am an Atheist. I chose this college because it had the focus I was looking for, the delivery method was fully online so I could continue to work, and the price was the best around. I did not feel like being of the Christian faith was a prerequisite. My instructors and professors were not pushy with religion, and for a master's program, I felt like I was able to learn what was necessary for the field I was in. I have a Master's degree and 2 focuses now from GCU and I couldn't be happier with my education and experience. The guidance counselors were great, the financial aid process was easy, and I'm grateful for GCU and all they have done for me.April Wittmeyer

Parking in Garage building#7 on 33rdAvewas the best for going into the areana. We had to checkin at theguard station, drive around it then enter the parking garage. Parking was allowed on the 2ndfloor and above. It was the AFHE homeschool senior graduation. The campuswas very green. The areana was building #38 there is a museum to JERRY COLANGELO here and a beautiful tripple cross monument. The restrooms are spacious and everything but the soap dispensers are automated. We just did a visit and we are very disappointed! Our daughter would have been a transfer student and she spent a lot of time & energy reaching out to Fort Lewis and talking with them. She was accepted & she has phenomenal grades! When we got there & she met Kayla, Kayla didn’t even remember her. The tour was very informal, with a huge group (we had toured many colleges), they showed us their worst dorms, they took us in 1 classroom, and mostly ran us through the tour. They didn’t even offer lunch (which is very important). My daughter had put down that she wanted to meet with some professors and financial aid and at the end of the tour Kayla just told everyone, “Okay, thank you for coming”! Our daughter told her she had meetings with financial aid & to meet with some professors… Kayla & Shelby had no idea what she was talking about! Shelby gave her the name, number & an email of a professor instead of having that professor reach out to our daughter. Obviously they aren’t in need of students! They just pushed their beautiful campus & all of the outdoor activities they offer, instead of their academics! So if all you want is a school with a lot of fun things to do & in a tourist town this is for you!Debi Laib

The facilities are poor and the dorms are even worse. The technology at FLC is terrible, the computers rarely work, and good luck finding good WiFi. The professors are really nice though, but the some of the students didn't seem to care much about their education. The professors really try to help their students succeed though. Oh, they also lied about having my major 2 months into my education there. They told me they no longer offered my major, despite the fact that when I registered for classes, my advisor told me everything about my major there. Never said a thing about it no longer being offered there. Luckily I got my money back and went to a way better school. So, please do yourself a favor and do NOT apply here. A lot of my friends had the same thing happen to them on this campus. I graduated in 2011 and Fort Lewis was amazing. I studied geology (but most of my roommates and friends studied business). The professors were exceptional. They loved their respective field, gave relentless effort and tolerated immature undergrads with grace and enthusiasm. Durango is a super safe and fun mountain town. I was able to intern in my field at several places within the region and select a career path that suited my interests. We took loads of field trips all over the southwest. Terrible school. They charge you an absurd amount for supplies after you've paid for classes and do not disclose it will be a charged item (Or that you will be kicked out of the class and your seat given to another person if you do not pay. You know, the class you already paid for and got in?). Not only that, this is a second job for most teachers, so good luck finding one that actually has enough energy or fs to give to teach a night or afternoon classes. Dont forget that they like to cut class lengths in half (Semester to a quarter), double the amount of time in class (from 2-4 hours), not inform anyone in the class of this AND move the location of where the class is supposed to be last minute to another campus. Oh! And let's stack on more homework than a someone taking a doctorate because the teachers figured that using an online program will make it so they only need to sit around, and they dont care enough to have the class there for the entire 4 hours. DO NOT GO HERE. GO LITERALLY TO ANY OTHER SCHOOL IN THE STATE KIDS. It's a bigger cash grab than a pyramid scheme. Only reason youd ever take a CMC class is for an AP Highschool class. This is my second semester at CMC. I really love the teachers and the price!! I would recommend anyone to attend here, especially if you are an in-district student. It's very affordable! I have found the teachers to be amazing. All of my teachers have been very engaging and interested in helping me succeed in my career goals. I would say there is only one downside that I have encountered and that is lack of flexibility in scheduling. I needed very specific classes, and they all seemed to be scheduled on top of each other. This led me to a stretched out schedule and lots of miles traveled (& wasted time) to other campuses to get in the classes I need. This University is not a safe place to send your child if you care about them and their safety. I spent two semesters living on campus, my freshman year and they were the worst months of my life; communal bathrooms are not clean, things are broken often and do not get fixed, and security cameras are few and far between. The campus itself is not in a good neighborhood, which is a common fear of most people. Administration has done nothing to make the campus safer, there are not any cameras in parking lots, the cameras in the municipal parking garage do not work, and people are able to walk on to campus even if they do not attend the school. Young children steal student's bikes in broad daylight and grown adults walk onto the campus as well. The cafeteria food is not good and the staff is 99.9% of the time very rude, and you may get a plate of food thrown at you even if you are polite. I have witnessed people be served raw chicken, romaine lettuce when there was an E. coli outbreak, and also contract E. coli. The Bursar's office constantly removed and added money to my account saying one day I owed X amount of dollars and then one day I owed Y amount of dollars, and whenever I asked why my balance fluctuated during the semester, they had no answer. Financial aid is not easy to deal with especially if your family makes a mid-range income. If you household income is low or very high, do not expect to pay a lot per year. The social environment is like high school: judgmental and everyone stays in their own "clique" The only reason I will give this "university" a 2-star review is because the professor's do care about you and your success. They will work with you, and help you when need be. Every professor I had only wanted their students to succeed, and nothing else (with the exception of a woman who just had graduated from college and did not know the subject which she was teaching).Ashlynne Donovan

This school is one of the best veteran friendly schools in the U.S. currently we are in the top 100, we even have our own USO sponsored lounge called the defenders den where we can be around fellow veterans. The classes here are incredible and the professors genuinely care and thrive off interaction. You will not become another gear in the chain at this university, also the campus even though small is absolutely gorgeous. The worst school ever! I did a year at JU and lived on campus! there is nothing to do! You will be bored out of your mind if you are from the north. The staff was unhelpful, and forget about getting any extra financial help. I come from a one parent house hold and my mom lost her job I went into the aid office to see if they can help me with any extra aid and all they could offer was goods from the food pantry. I graduated in Food Science at Colorado State in 2011. The education in the classroom and in life that I received while I attended university was life changing. I met some of the best people I have had in my life and I pursued my love for nutrition and food science while I was there. My degree opened up many doors for me in my career in the brewing industry and at the time the undergrad brewing course was one of the only ones in the country. I am so glad I attended CSU and I can say without a doubt my life and career would not be the same had I not gone here. I am still a season ticket holder and while I miss the old stadium, having a beautiful new stadium on campus is pretty nice! Go Rams!Jeremy Janus

My daughter and I visited the campus as it currently ranks number 3 for Veterinary Medicine. The staff was genuine, sincere and gracious. They setup one on one meetings to make the visit extremely personal. They appeared to have the students best interest at heart and even supplied a full day parking pass. The facilities appeared updated and state of the art. They were heads and shoulders above our visit at Texas aTm. The only prevention of a five star rating was partially our fault as we were unable to get a tour of the school of medicine.Andy Benavidez

I have studied in here as an international student for one year, but now I transfer to another college. The main reason is the reputation of the CSU college of business. The employment rate of international students after they graduation is so low, and I rarely find one get even an internship. Although there are lots of nice people live here, you get almost nothing to do in this dull town besides hiking or playing with your dogs.王信

The Campus is clean, and well maintained. The food isn't too bad. But aside from these constants, you will have a different experience depending on your worldview going in. The theology and philosophy courses you will be required to take will be authentically Catholic, which will either encourage or enrage you depending on if you are a practicing Catholic or not. Other general ed's will be standard, but sufficent. DeSales University is going to be a decidedly different experience depending on your major as well. If your major is in the arts and you are a practicing Catholic, you will have a tough time since most of the people in that major will be agnostic or atheist (and professors may be geared towards that). However-the actual theory and practical application of the discipline you are studying is going to be very good and useful. The people you meets will likely be very nice, and you won't have a tough time finding friends if you try. The faith life of campus is pretty good, with various to groups to encourage you. There's a small community of students who attend daily mass, which is always a help. The Mass itself however (Sunday and weekday), leaves a bit to be desired. The music especially will sound a bit 1970's, instead of having the timeless characteristic of a liturgically accurate mass. Gregorian Chant or Polyphony would sure help here, but the choir director is a protestant at the moment (for some reason) so that is unlikely. All in all, whether you are a practicing Catholic or an unabashed pagan you will have some issues with DeSales, but the academics themselves are good and you will likely be prepared for your field upon graduation.JP Kloess

It seems incredible that they are a university with "Christian principles" and today February 22, 2021, they announced a snow day and did not cancel classes or offer them online to students who commute to campus. My daughter is in college and she cannot come back to my home because it is snowing very hard and she drives a small car that cannot be driven in the snow because it may cause and or have an accident. You should be more empathetic with the students who commute. It seems that they are only interested in the money and not in the lives of the students. And now you close campus at 3:00pm and my daughter can’t drive to my home. Who will solve that?Wanda Rodríguez

Enjoyed a few Basebal Games. Not a bad seat in the house. When One arrives at The Stadium Complex, there's an opportunity to watch Men's Baseball or Women's Softball. The fields are "SUPER" nice. They are well maintained and down right beautiful. Bring an umbrella for shade. It can get a bit hot. This is a "GREAT" Family Event. Unlike other places, there's NO COST to get in. Parking is free , however it can get a little tight w/ games going on at both fields simultaneously. This being said, If you're a Baseball Fan, it's an experience to be had. Visit soon….. I came here on a full tuition scholarship and spent most of my time on academic probation. Why? Because when I went to the enrollment adviser and told her that I was probably going to fail computer science, she told me that if I dropped the class that I would not be full time and not eligible for my scholarship. After I failed the class, she told me that I could have made up the credits over the summer. This tanked my GPA, but maybe she felt bad about the bad advice, which is why I probably kept my scholarship even though I was under the GPA. This school is basically a good place to go if you know what you want to do and just need a degree to do it. All in all, this is a decent school, but you have to be focused and advocate for yourself as advisement is sub par. If so, you will be fine. The clubs and activities are great. Food sucks! Dorms are decent. It could be better, but it could be worst.Danielle Lewis

It's not the worst school, but they just don't have anything that really justifies their tuition price. They're not significantly cheaper than other schools in the area and it's not a big name to people. The nursing program is supposed to be one of their best programs available but no one even talks about or recommends it. I work in healthcare in Wayne maybe 5 minutes from the campus and I feel it's pretty telling that every doctor I work with would sooner recommend Rutgers, Seton Hall or Montclair State. I never had much issue with any professors but the school's counseling and academic advisement teams are a joke. Overall, I don't think it would be a bad place to get a degree but probably wouldn't come back. Other schools nearby seem to have more to offer, a higher standard of quality, and most importantly they come with a name people want to hire from.Justin G

I would not suggest this college for people who are full time working adults. Very limited class times offered, hardly any night classes and 90% of classes are not offered online…even general education courses! They are also very unwilling to work with you if you cannot make a class during any of the times they offer. Most schools will allow you to take the class at another credited college and transfer the credits…WPU does not, not even for general education classes like math! I asked about taking three different classes at another school because of their limited class times and I got the same exact answer EVERY time…it must be taken at WPU. Why does a basic level math course have to be taken at WPU when you accepted my math class transfers from another school when I initially transferred in?!Jessica Henry

I feel as if most of the reviews given do not do justice to the University itself and to the incoming freshman's coming straight from high school. I chose to go to this particular university because my family engraved this stigma against large universities. "Smaller classes" are better because you will get a more personable experience with your professor. Also, growing up in a Catholic household, this was the ideal school for me. I was also drawn into the University for many other reasons. 1. I was drawn to the nursing program because it stated that all "incoming freshman's with 3.5 GPA's will have automatic admittance into the nursing program". 2. The scholarship I received in the mail blew my mind. However, little did I know that it would still cost me an arm and a leg to pay for me staying there. 3. The location because it is in the most beautiful part of Houston. 4. The friendly faces and helpful staff. I will never forget any of the professor's I have taken because they really are the most kindest people you'll ever meet. (most of them at least). I spent one year at UST and I can honestly tell you that I have gained some and lost some. I have gained great communication skills, great study skills, few great friends, and student debt. On the other hand, I lost one year of college, thirty thousand dollars, and valuable knowledge I could have further expanded instead of taking philosophy and theology requirements. I enrolled to UST intending to graduate with a nursing degree. I thought I gained automatic admittance due to my 3.5+ GPA in highschool. However, that was not the case because you must apply to UST first as a student, then apply into the nursing school at the end of the year (which is really competitive because there are only 40 slots and 100-200 students applying?). If I were to have known that I would have just gone to UTA where they do live up to that statement of automatic admittance with a certain GPA requirement. So I basically spent a year paying for graduate school when all I needed were pre-reqs that I could have taken at HCC. I remember signing up for ONE summer statistics class and the price totaled to $4,000+. People at UH spend $4,000-5,000 in ONE SEMESTER with 12 credits. Also, to all the feminist's out there, they pay male professor's more than female professors (for doing the same job). And that does not undermine the fact that the professors make less than the average salary while the president of the university makes more than the average university president salary? hm. With the tuition exceeding $30,000+ a year, it comes to show where the money goes to since you cannot see it on the campus. The library is out dated, the buildings are outdated, however the church is beautiful. I guess a really good thing UST does is how they offer amazing scholarships to veterans and police officers who serve. Another disappointment is the lack of student/campus life. This school seems to be more fitting for older students, not younger incoming freshman. There are not many active clubs or events like you would see at UTSA, UH, or any public college. It somewhat makes you lose the "college experience". However, they do offer retreats and study abroad opportunities. It is really inclusive to Catholicism, however it comes to no surprise as this is a catholic university. If you are financially well off, with money to spare for 6 extra classes (18 credits total) and smaller class sizes then this is the place for you. If you get admitted for free due to financial aid, then even better. Do not attend this school if you are an incoming freshman looking to experience college to the max. This university won't give you the opportunity to explore what you want, instead it will decide for you. And smaller class sizes will not make you pass, it is up to you to take that initiative. No matter how big or small the university is, it is your initiative that makes you succeed. All in all, it is an average school, just isn't the one for me.delol mko

The Cameron School of Business is great for anyone looking for a good quality MBA program in Houston for working professionals. They are AACSB accredited, which was one of my deciding factors in going to school here. Less than 5% off all business schools in the world are AACSB accredited according to their website. The staff is friendly, some of the classrooms could use updating, and the computer labs need a bit of an upgrade. The campus is really nice and was designed by Philip Johnson the famous architect. Overall the programs are good especially for working professionals. However, some of the finance, accounting, and other quantitative courses should be more challenging and require more Calculus, Diff Eq. more advanced statistics, etc. to improve the quality of the overall program.Tom Dantario
