Today, I feel compelled to write about the wonderful place where I work, Cape Fear Community College. This is my third year here and quite honestly, it is by far, my favorite place of employment. The grounds at CFCC are beautiful, the students are fantastic, and the culture is what makes it truly special. That starts with our President, Mr. Jim Morton who exemplifies our vision: Building a future oriented, world class workforce and a community of lifelong-learners in partnership with regional businesses and agencies. Our students benefit from an excellent education, enhanced student life and a vast opportunity for employment and college transfer studies. Our faculty and staff are highly-qualified, diverse, and dedicated to quality education and service to the College and the community. I am proud to be a part of this amazing institution.Ginny Hayes

I don’t even know where to begin with this place. First of all if you are considering going here you need to run in the opposite direction. I moved here from out of state and gave this institution 10,000 of my dollars just to be disrespected and ridiculed by the faculty and staff. My high school teachers were more competent and respectful than anyone here. The school is run down and smells like mildew other than the main building they use to advertise this place. I did not learn one single thing the entire time I was here and let it be known that I am now graduating to be a medical professional so I was not the problem. I thank God I married my military husband and was able to escape this awful awful school. Do not go here if it’s the last thing you do.Allyson Salavitch

Be careful if using MYCAA to pay for classes, regardless of whether or not you submit on your end on time. If the school doesn't submit it on time on their end (as in my case) you'll receive a dozen and a half reminders that tuition is due (the school doesn't handle MYCAA and the funds get sent to the student to then pass on to the school and if it's not paid by "x" date at "x" time classes are dropped. Had I of known this, I would have applied for schooling elsewhere. Waste of time. Not everyone wants or needs to use FAFSA………Courtney Myszewski

Okay school but professors suck! Good learning platform with Blackboard (easy to use & navigate). Professors are very picky & strict with grading. They act like they are from Harvard. Faculty is not professional & highly rude. They don't care about you learning or helping you succeed. Rather expect you to fail. Lots of errors & typos on quizzes. No live or recorded lectures. Didn't learn much. Spend the extra money & attend brick & mortar or better online school to get a job.Oliver

I highly recommend Hodges University! I enrolled in the fast track BS degree with 10 classes left to finish in Interdisciplinary Studies. I graduated 18 months later! All of my teachers were phenomenal and my counselor reached out to me at the beginning of each semester to enroll me in the correct classes to finish my degree program as quickly as possible. Having attended other universities, I found this one to be the most committed in helping me complete my degree program!Ann AL

I have been at Hodges for two years now. Every time I hear about another school, I always compare my experience to Hodges. This has led me to believe that there are no other schools that I would be as happy with. The professors I have had actually WANT me to succeed and will do what they can to help us as students to develop and learn. I appreciate Rasmussen University for having an abundance of resources and many professors and other staff members who demonstrate they want students to succeed. I especially have enjoyed being a peer educator, being privileged to work with Tammy Hopps who is an excellent supervisor and leader, and also being able to work with other peer educators who care for their peers as much as I do. I transferred from a local state college, which I considered sticking with to save money, but in reality, not much is saved when you compare the timeframe for graduation. At the state college it would take me an extra 2 whole years to receive my BSN, whereas at Rasmussen I save 2 years of time because of their second-degree BSN option. I am very pleased with the quality of technology – at the state school blackboard and other resources were slow and did not work as well on my cell phone, whereas with Rasmussen I can easily access everything I need from my phone when I'm on the go. It's inspiring to see so many single parents and married parents in school, some of which also work full time or part time like myself while completing their degree. I had such high hopes when enrolling at this school. However my experience hasn't been favorable at all. I am a current student and I was disappointed because even though I was able to enroll and start classes I really felt unsupported on this journey. I'm realizing Rasmussen may not be the school for me. I REALLY thought I would be supported and encouraged. I was made to feel that Rasmussen would be rooting for me through my academic journey. Instead I am bombarded with emails and calls telling me what I already know… I owe money. No calls or emails about how I can be helped to budget so that I can pay more toward the balance. I'm only being told: what I owe, to get the balance down to $500-$1000 and to take out loans; which will only put me in debt and it's too early to be taking out loans when I've been in school since September of 2021 and have 2 more years. Also this school doesn't cater to single parents, limited income and individuals that HAVE to work. This school ONLY has day classes for the nursing program and as I said before I HAVE to work full time.Sherria Clark

This morning I called the university for the North Orlando Campus for the Nursing program and spoke to the director of Nursing who was discusstingly rude on the phone. I called to get information, He had no patience and told me Not to proceed a career in Nursing because it was Not for me. This was a university that I was so excited to be a part of and be a graduate of Nursing. The director needs to be Fired because he is giving the university a bad reputation. Currently attending and have been struck with how little people here care about their students’ education. I’ve called for advisors to help me with transfer papers and financial aid to ask about my scholarship money (they never refunded it back to me) and I’ve been hung up, transfered to other lines, and even worst… gotten a voicemail saying they’re not available even after calling 5 times during different days and hours. It’s as if the faculty here doesn’t work. The professors are mediocre, really lazy and most have an accent that is hard to understand. Never answer to emails either and don’t help their students pass. I’ve gotten all As and one B but that’s due to how much I tried and stressed myself since I didn’t get any help here. Currently working on my transfer out of state to get out of this school as soon as possible.Adriana Alva

Ever since the pandemic, it’s been difficult getting a hold of different departments and professors. When you sign up for a class, they usually cancel the class for the semester for various reasons. They don’t communicate changes in policy i.e. when you enroll for a class and your funding doesn’t come through, they no longer automatically drop you from the class so they expect you to pay for that class, even if you didn’t take it. Apparently they no longer automatically drop you for non-payment. It’s an unethical practice. Students should be notified of this policy change. The only bright side of this school has been the Access program. They’ve always answered calls and provided help.Kim Sanchez

Glitchy system that logs in when it feels like it, making me pay for classes I DID NOT TAKE and sent me to collections. Staff may lack 3rd grade education let alone college, the only thing they can direct you to is the bathroom. Appealing anything takes several tries and a firework display over Bayside spelling out "stop screwing me i.d. #000000000". Best thing I could've done for myself is not even bother with MDC. Take i.t./networking related classes through Netacad directly. Save the hundreds of dollars, time, and headaches.Javier C

This was my first onsite class with DeVry. I have had such a great experience with my senior project class here at Naperville. Being that it was my first time, I had to get an ID and receive a quick orientation. The onsite staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. In this session, our class was granted the permission to occasionally use the Addison campus for access to the tech playground for our presentations. Our innovative teacher, Professor Rucks, encouraged us to explore and utilize the facility to aid in our course work. When I needed academic advice and assistance, Mr. Dufresne, Assistant Dean of Academic Excellence, made himself immediately available and went out of his way to make sure my needs were met. I have really enjoyed my time here!Susannah Smith

Professor Nichelle Manuel made Database Essentials for Business w/ Lab worth every hour taking this class valuable. Her instruction during the lectures made everything that i read just *Click* every week. Her patience with the class really came through when a classmate needed help to clarify a task in our Lab. She made the class easy to understand and learning a new program very valuable. this class has helped me in my career by helping me improve on my relationships at my current employer by knowing how the program taught is the same one used at my place of employment. My school experience at Keller has been great from the start and I can honestly say it has been mainly due to the awesome faculty and professors. My last class Applied Managerial Statistics (Math534) just ended and it was again evident that because of professors like Dr. Al, who has the patience to teach and listen to students needs, that I was able to learn a lot more that I thought I would. I attended Florida National University for my Bachelor's as well as my Master's and it was well worth it. My experience started with the excellent teachers that care about the student as an individual. I was happy with all my instructors but there were two instructors that stood out the most. Dr. Bullen and Dr. Gonzalez are both great instructors who guided me in being able to accomplish my end goal which was to graduate with as much knowledge as possible. Through their guidance they motivated me and passed to me much of their vast experience. They played a big part in guiding me in my academic journey and if I had any questions or doubts I could always count on them to be available to answer any questions in a satisfying manner. My Name is Manuel Insua and I can tell you Florida National University is the best school I have ever attended. My experience as student was very good. I was considered one of the top student in my classroom, I graduated with 3.87 GPA. My name always appear in the Dean list with 4.00 average. Of course I studied very hard. The professors were excellent. The priority of this school are always the students. They frequently check the student how they are doing. The only thing that this school needs is to be more organized with the clinical should not interfere with your classes. I went back to Florida National University to work as a professor. But two frustrated students from Kaiser University file a complain and my classroom was cancelled after the second week. I have really enjoyed being a student and I recommend this school to anyone, in my case for the Ultrasound program at South Campus, where people know you, care about you and are willing to mentor you. Staff is super nice people that do their part to make it happen for you. Instructors always were willing to help and instruct give guidance whenever needed, they are very well educated and always ready to provide services for any students to be successful, and you can tell that they enjoy what they are teaching. They were above what I expected. The only complaint I have is that the program is no accredited and you have to take an extra test before present to the ARDMS, but at the end you prepare more. Overall, being a part of Florida National University South Campus was such an amazing experience. I found myself learning something valuable from every class that I took.Carolina Vigna

To the person and all who read the post of the writer who claims that Bishop Verot High School (BVHS) is prejudice against non-Catholics and Christians. You must have a two digit I.Q to make such an outrageous claim and yet offer no example, not even something that a person with low I.Q. could invent. You are truly a sad person and I pray that our Father may help you find peace within. I have young adults who attend BVHS and another (God willing), on the way. My only regret is that I did not know about this school years ago, where my children were packed like sardines in each classroom. They now feel loved and cared for not only by Catholics but also by others who attend this school. I have found in my life that people who claim a prejudice about others should take a stern look at the mirror and see what is within them to feel that way about others. Your broad, single stroke of this school illustrates that indeed you are in pain and perhaps feel cheated somehow or in someway that you would paint so broadly. Bishop Verot High School did not rank in the top fifty of Catholic Schools in the nation for commentary such as yours. I suggest you seek counseling and if that does not work, remove yourself from any relationship to this God lifting magical school that transforms young, impressionable children into very well rounded young adults with a beautiful future ahead of them. I have attended Bishop Verot along with majority of my family and there arent enough good things to say about this school. The teachers actually care! When I went to college, many of my new friends were shocked that i actually read books in high school and attended class. The teachers do not just teach us the material, they inspire us to want to do something with our lives. As for the previous comment, I am so sorry that you can not express your religious views at a CATHOLIC school.. go to Canterbury. I didn't know we do not except Hindus.. my best friend is Indian and her family is Hindu and no one cared or shunned her and her father was on the board. That just shows how much they hate those hindus?! Oh and I am so sorry that you have a problem saying a prayer at a Catholic School.. Who knew that attending Bishop Verot Catholic Highschool would have religion involved!? Students at Bishop Verot actually want to go to school and be apart of the community. I'm a past graduate of BVHS and the most important lesson I learned in my 4 years is that my kids will not be attending this school! Some teachers genuinely cared, but the majority were rather unintelligent and had no right in "providing the best education your child can get". A minority of the teachers I had were worth the 12K a year, and succeeded at their job of helping ALL kids grow and prosper. The main issue of this institution comes down to its administration. A bulk of them couldn't care less about ALL students, and just catered to those with nice donations. There were multiple kids I knew that would repetitively get caught cheating, but the staff would do absolutely nothing about it because they were seen as an asset to the diocese's income. They pick and chose their favorite students, and if you are not on that list they probably wont let you walk at graduation, regardless of your GPA (multiple personal experiences). Bishop Verot Catholic high school is very poorly ran, and I would really make sure this is the BEST option for your child.Sam Roberts

Even with full-time work for the duration of full-time study, it was easier than where my Bachelor of Arts was from: Binghamton. Long story short, the Public and nonprofits sector didn't want me; but, made some successes in the Corporate world in Banking, Insurance, followed by Investment Brokerage. My point ? I've been calling about the associate in nursing program for a while. I always either get a voicemail or an unsuccessful transfer attempt. Very rarely do people call back. When they do, I get a crumb of relevant information, a promise to follow up, and then I can't get ahold of them again. I tried to get my transcripts evaluated, was told that FSCJ's anatomy and physiology credits most likely wouldn't be accepted because Fortis' anatomy and physiology classes are 6 credits each whereas FSCJ's are only 4. But the advisor assured me that my other general education credits should transfer. However, based on the same logic, my general education classes also wouldn't be accepted because they are 3 credit classes whereas Fortis' are 4-5 credits. None of this is confirmed of course since they never return my calls or emails about the transcript evaluation. This is a NATIONALLY accredited school. This means regionally accreditated schools (like University of North Florida), likely won't accept their credits. You will likely have to retake your general education credits if you decide to further your education. This is based on personal experience with nationally accredited institutions. And yes, every school has their own credit evaluation requirements and each school, whether regionally accredited or nationally accredited, can accept or decline credits as they are fit. However, this is especially important to consider when going from nationally accredited to regionally accredited schools. Keep this in mind before you spend $50-55k on an associate's degree here. That is what the associate degree in nursing program at this campus costs. I say this because they make it so hard to find that information online and you have to play phone tag with them to get an appointment scheduled to EVENTUALLY get this question answered. I had high hopes for this school, but it's been disappointment after disappointment and I haven't even started in the program. Schools, like everyone, want to make a good first impression but if this is their best, then I've seen enough.Katherine Eggers

I am so sorry to hear that others have had such a bad experience with this School. I can only speak for myself. My experience at Fortis College has changed my life. I was hired right off of my Externship and have been at my job since 2015. I learned a lot at Fortis and not one time have I had an issue educational or personal that I felt that the staff at Fortis did not hear and help me with……Every Teacher that I had was eager to step in and give me the extra push that I needed and I felt it was from the heart not about how much money the school could get. I now have Career not a job. I was chosen because Fortis College comes highly recommended at a lot of Employers Human Resource offices. If anyone has had a bad experience I am so sorry that you feel this way….but I myself never seen anything that couldn't be worked out at this school. As a matter of fact I am going back for my Nursing and I am excited because it is a smaller school and I feel that I will get all the help that I need to succeed. I am so pleased to have been a Fortis College student. From the President, Directors, Instructors to the staff have displayed great care about each of the students, in a very professional and informative manner. Each teacher has taken the time to understand the individual needs of the student, matches that with how the student learns best and truly cares about the students. This makes the learning environment flexible and adaptive. The school is large, clean, and following Covid protocol and this is important for me, they observe discipline, they know how to find an approach to each student. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS UNIVERSITY!!!! Positive reviews come from admissions counselors at SOUTH UNIVERSITY. BEWARE!!!!! I had a really bad experience at South University and yes I would agree with the statements about them being all about the money. I was told my transfer credits were approved, BUT once I was enrolled—signed all documents—then they told me that I had to retake more classes $$$ (again, after being “approved”). Tuition is ridiculous, I was charged well over $4,000 for 2 classes. Now they won’t even release my transcripts until I pay off this amount. BE CAREFUL!!!! The institution is disorganized, and I got mixed information from different people. I never knew who was in charge of anything…. It all seems smooth and nice until you sign up. BTW I received both As in my classes, this is an honest review based on my experience and it doesn’t come from “someone who’s not doing what they are supposed to”Santiago Cardona

I am an alumni of South University and I only experienced a great experience. I see people posting reviews that the school only cares about your money, which is not correct. There is a student academic progress process in which the students who are not doing well academically will be given the opportunity to improve their grades. If they do not, they will be academically dismissed from the school. The professors care about the students success and help in any way that they can. I highly recommend South University. The tuition if not cheap, but if you are looking for small classes, individualized attention and success…South University is the school for you. I feel that some people on this forum were not doing what they needed to do to be successful and they should own up to it, not blame the school.Kamisha Vanarsdale

The admissions team was amazing when I got there (of course I had an appointment) the wait wasn't long at all. The next day I went to see the financial aid, which didn't take much longer then any other college that I had gone to. The teachers are really nice and help you when you need any help with assignments. The tuition is pretty high but it is a private school that helps when you ask for what you need in a polite manner. Though I am upset that I can not rollover all of my previous credit from the last college that was closed down, I'm still happy that they have taken what they could! I think a 1 star review is generous. I went for my BSN and one term in (8 weeks) we were told that the program is 90% the student and 10% the staff. Most of what you get from staff is power point presentations. That is when you are not doing the teaching based on a group project. And you have one of those every 8 weeks, having to depend on people for your grade and knowledge. They brag about a low drop out rate. That is a joke. It is low because it costs so much and, like all other schools of this nature, nothing transfers. So they "let you" return to repeat the term and continue. (You pay for the repeat which is why I put it in quotations) The person that arranges the clinical rotations, and ultimately handles your volunteer hour documentation, is beyond unorganized. She will lose things and send you notification you did not turn something in even if you hand it directly to her. And her excuse is she has so much going on, not my problem especially for the amount I paid for tuition. They make you feel like if you complain about anything it will be held against you. I would not recommend this school. But in all honesty there probably isn't one of these schools that would be much different.Michelle Ford Gonsowski

I had an outstanding experience with the Physical Therapist Assistant program. Every member of the PTA faculty is highly experienced, very personable, and really goes above and beyond in providing students with a high quality learning experience that definitely exceeded my expectations. As an accelerated medical program, the workload is very heavy making working while going to school very challenging. The benefit however is finishing the program earlier and working as a PTA sooner. In addition to providing you with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the field of physical therapy, the program does a great job of preparing you for the board exam as well as helping you find a job afterwards if needed. I’m very happy I made the decision to attend Herzing University for PTA and would recommend it to any highly motivated person interested in becoming a Physical Therapist Assistant.Mitch Pottinger

FAN is a great school. One thing I must remind future students who will be attending FAN is that they expect their students to put in the time to read, do their homework and understand the material, and I will tell you why…… Nurses must be professional and are at the center of the patient’s health care team. In some instances, nurses are expected to know more about how their patients are doing than the attending physician. I am a former student of Florida Academy of Nursing other wise known as FAN. My experience at FAN was great the faculty at FAN are exceptional they go above and beyond for their students they know each and everyone of us by name and they are very nurturing and groom us for the nursing world , I was able to get a job as a LNP right out of nursing school thanks to my training from FAN. Rasmussen has really given me a second chance at hope. I started this journey not truly believing that I could do this. Fate matched me with Nicole M as my initial advisor and I'd be lying if I said her help provided motivation and confidence to know I can do this. She was there every step of the way to guide to my next steps and would even stay on the phone with me to make sure I'd accomplish certain tasks before the deadline. I was so moved by her I persuaded my two sisters to enroll as well and she helped get them acclimated as well. I am now in the nursing program and am given a second chance at life to make something of myself and for that I am eternally grateful. My mother also is an alumni of rasmussen, so to know that I'll be abstaining my nursing degree in the very same school my mother went to is the icing on the cake. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think after three kids and a full-time job, I would be able to start school again in my 30s, and Rasmussen University, with its fantastic support team, has been there every step of the way for me through the process. I have been able to enroll in a nursing program where it's been eight months now, and I have pretty much finished all my prereqs in the convenience of my home. During the Entire process Raquel was my Admissions Advisor and she was very nice. South Florida College of Nursing is one of the best hidden gems in Miami! I found the school completely by chance visiting from South Carolina while looking for a nursing program to get an ASN and prepare me to pass the NCLEX to receive licensure as a registered nurse. I did a zoom meeting with David, the administrator, and he orientated me to the school, program, values SFCN strives to represent, and was more than happy to answer any and all questions I had! This is not your typical nursing program. The class sizes are small, incredibly hands on and personal, and everyone actually cares! The school is about personal growth, not profit for education. All of my professors have great energy and you can tell that they enjoy what they do, not only teaching, but in their personal professional medical careers. I feel blessed to have found a program that is everything I desired in a school, and more! I have no doubts in my mind I will be better prepared starting my future career than any student from any other nursing program in Florida. If you are considering going into nursing, motivated, and seek a personal approach to your education, South Florida College of Nursing is the best choice.Dylan Emkjer

If you are thinking of going to South Florida College of Nursing, I would think twice. Not only is the professor the Dean of the school which is already sketchy enough, the school has bogus rules to retain you for semesters and semesters just because you don’t meet their standards due to favoritism. Nothing is said in stone and the school changes its policies on you just because things are not going their way. Students are expected to follow their said rules that change on them unexpectedly and without notice. This school only cares about getting a nice looking retention rate and passing score. They will take every measure necessary to make sure they get that pretty looking passing NCLEX rate. I DO NOT recommend this school to not even my worst enemy. Being able to attend South Florida college of nursing is honor and I do know what am saying. I have attend other nursing school in the past but the thing is that SFCN it’s family from the professor to the student. The professor are always there to help the best that they can. The admission office is always just a text away or a phone call there on top of everything David is very helpful thank you. I graduated the LPN program at this school about a year or so ago and recently became a Licensed Practical Nurse. Although there were many bumps in the road for me, the staff were always willing and there to help along the way. They encourage you and push you to not give up! Amazing. As long as you stay dedicated and work hard, you will pass at this school and graduate. I had the privilege of having a great instructor there for all of my classes. 4/2019 – I did a lot of research prior to attending Jersey College Largo Campus. I looked into going to HCC, Galen, Rasmussen, as well as other Jersey College Campuses. I talked with all the school counselors, toured the schools, and talked with co-workers/friends who had gone to each school and are currently working RN's. I decided to go with Jersey College Largo Campus, and it was the best decision I've ever made! The teachers truly want you to succeed, they care about your success, you have so much support, weekly tutoring offered by every instructor, and the staff truly becomes your family. The students are also very supportive of each other. The level of education you receive is advanced, you start working in the hospital with patients by semester one and continue weekly clinical rotations in the hospital until you graduate the program in semester six. The other RN programs offered at different schools didn't start clinical rotations until the last few semesters, didn't offer clinical rotations in a hospital setting, and didn't seem to truly prepare you for your daily job as an RN. The clinical experience with Jersey College Largo is fantastic! As a student you’re able to have clinical rotations in the ER, med surg floor, OR, specialty units, follow the residents, as well as many other things. I'm so thankful for such an amazing opportunity. The clinical instructors are great, and the hospital staff is so kind and willing to teach. Also I looked into accreditation and they are fully accredited with ACEN (accreditation commission for education in nursing) Plus I have a coworker and friend who attended Jersey College for her associates in nursing, went on to complete her bachelors in nursing, went for her masters, and is now a Nurse Practitioner. The program sets you up to be an amazing RN but also gives you a solid foundation for your BSN and MSN if you would like to further your career in the future. It's a very hard program, but if you do everything the teachers say…. you'll make it!! 🙂 I've been in your situation, and I know how big of a decision this is… so I hope all this information helps you!! **Update 4/2021: I passed my HESI exit exam and NCLEX on the first try. I’m now enrolled in a fully accredited BSN program and the same goes for all of my original classmates. I didn’t struggle finding a job and was offered positions in ICU, and the OR right out of school. Many of the employers liked that I attended a residency program that was more hands on training vs other schools and I believe that residency experience helped me get these higher level nursing job offers. My class studied a lot! It took a lot of work! I am so proud of my classmates and thankful for this school! Just remember, no matter how hard the program gets don’t give up because all of the hard work and studying will pay off in the end. Good luck!**Shannon McNulty

I am a recent graduate of Jersey College and I must say I Loved It !!! I mean of course it had its ups and downs because as we all know nothing is perfect but my overall experience was great. Anything that is worth having will not be easy so I will not say that it was the easiest thing to do but it was the best decision I ever made!! I felt the support from staff && classmates, it was like a family && I loved that. I am now working in the field but I still come back to campus if I need help with things && there is no hesitation with helping me even though I'm no longer a student. I am a current student at Jersey College and so far my experience has been great everyone is welcoming, supportive and resourceful. There are somethings that needs improvement BUT not everyone or everything is perfect. Overall the instructors and administration staff are awesome. The instructor DO THEIR BEST to teach you in everyway possible so you understand each lecture and skills. Resources are provided and tutoring is available. In all honesty it is also the student responsibility to also do their part and review chapters and/or material so they have a better understanding and if it is becoming overwhelming just ASK FOR HELP! Professors for nursing Core classes here are truly amazing!! Only giving one star because despite my good experience with the professors here, Hispanic students pressure the professors to give classes in Spanish when per the Board of Nursing Education Department it is illegal for classes to be held in Spanish when the content your being tested on is in English. I had a great experience at OMI. I attended a "Flipped classroom" for Paramedic school led by retired FDNY Lieutenant Paramedic Hector Arroyo, and the most important thing I can say is that you get out what you put in. If you put in the work, the staff of OMI will work tirelessly to make sure you get the education you paid for. No games, no egos, just knowledge. The clinical coordinator Jessica Sasser absolutely made my year. I have never in my life worked with someone more accommodating or approachable than she has been. My year of Paramedic school would have been substantially worse if not for her kind, understanding, and extremely hardworking and available approach to clinical internship. While I enjoyed my overall experience at OMI, if I recommend OMI to coworkers or friends, my experience with Jessica will be one of the first anecdotes I share. In addition, I would be remiss if I did not mention the Vice President, Mrs. Abby Marquez. Her caring nature and calm demeanor while dealing with conflicts cannot be overlooked. No matter the obstacle, we all knew we could go speak to Abby, and she would help us come to a tenable solution. Knowing that the administrative staff of your school is on your side and truly cares about you is a feeling you cannot put a price on. I definitely recommend this school for those individuals looking for a no-nonsense, straightforward, and rewarding approach to higher education.Logan Reedy

As a recent graduate of the EMT program at Orlando Medical Institute, I want to take a second to recognize the staff for all of their hard work. From the admin staff to the instructors and lab instructors, everyone did an amazing job preparing the students for excellence in the field. Even during the shutdown and inability to get into hospitals for clinical hours due to the coronavirus, they worked hard to keep us on track and provided simulations to practice our skills. Okay I attended this school way back years ago. Yes the owners do like and make money. The teachers are pretty good but all work multiple jobs and can be late or they may rush to fill a teacher last minute. Their driver cert truck is very old. Abby never bothered me. One thing to be carful. If you are going on to college classes or certs they may not accept your cert or you will have to take the college test. OMI does not require a college entry test. Seminole state does. Felix is very knowable and cares about the school. Just remember this is a private school. Not a college or university. Other than that I attend learned and passed without issue.brad gibson

I have had a really great experience with Rasmussen so far. Due to the situation in which I transferred, I was able to complete assessments to test out of certain courses and save myself money. I really love being able to work at my own pace, and I can even complete these in 3-5 days. If you are coming in as a transfer student, I highly recommend checking out Rasmussen. Along with the amazing option of testing out of classes and working at your own pace, the experience I have had so far with the staff has been absolutely unbeatable. I have transferred colleges twice, and never have I been in contact with an advisor as caring, compassionate, and quick as Donna. She is always happy to answer any questions I have, send me any next steps I need to complete, and always gives encouragement.Pax Wengerd

I am so pleased with Rasmussen admission and enrollment process. My advisor B. Zappia is everything that a student could imagine needing to get through that process. She lessens the stress and keeps you on track with enrollment for your degree program requirements. Enrollment can be confusing due to per student requirements. She's very prompt with response and follow-ups. Her work ethic as a student advisor is definitely the guide each student should have experience during enrollment. I'm thankful for this great experience so far overall with the Rasmussen faculty (tech support and other advisors). They also contribute to my pleasing experience at Rasmussen University. Literally the worst school I have ever attended. I do not recommend. The majority of the professors can never communicate and get it together. Clinicals are absolute chaos. The amount of disrespect shown from some professors and administration is baffling. Some examples: I was told to find a career outside of healthcare because I refused a vaccination, a professor would show up two hours late to clinicals because she was sleeping, and any issues that arose and were taken to the Dean never were resolved but instead students were dismissed.
