I’m currently a Level III nursing student at WCU BR campus! I’m honored to be the Level III class delegate for our campus’s SNA chapter and anticipating graduation August of 2021. My time at WCU BR has been nothing if not incredible. My instructors and fellow classmates have made me feel like a member of their families. As a campus, we operate as a family, and the faculty truly want to ensure that you are given the knowledge and skills to go forth and be the best that you can be and make a difference in the care of others within communities. For those who are not familiar with William Carey, this is a private Christian School of Nursing. They are based out of Mississippi but have a campus in Baton Rouge. In other schools in the area, the programs take two and a half years. The accelerated nursing program at William Carey can be finished in 18 months for a bachelor's degree, meaning I obtain a higher education level for less time. This is by far the best school I have ever attended. The small classes (30 or so students) make the learning environment one on one. You build relationships with the students and faculty. I know that they are rooting for my success just as much as I am. I am genuinely grateful to attend here.Jacklyn Aiello

Southern University is the largest HBCU in the world. The Baton Rouge campus site is the home of their Jaguar football 🏈 team, The Human Jukebox marching band, and The Fabulous Dancing Dolls dancers. This is a fantastic campus. My daughter is currently a sophomore here studying Chemistry. The residential apartments are beautiful, modern and up-to-date. So I didn’t go to school here or anything. Just went to a football game and walked around campus. I love a good university campus. This one has some very cool buildings and southern charm. Highly recommend a football game too!Alexander Burg

Southeastern is the worst university ever. I am currently attending the university, and they use Pearson to take exams, which even though you get the answer correct but on Pearson you put a . Symbol instead of a , you will not receive credit no matter what, even if you have the correct answer written down. Some professors will make it where, even if you have a B or higher in the class it doesn’t matter if you don’t pass the last test they will fail you and the previous quizzes and exams will be turn to F’s. Also, the math lab where you take test, they have a device that makes loud banging noises while your taking test, it is use to gather data for the psychology department without your consent. Please do not take this as a one time bad experience, this happens to a large chunk of southeastern students. Go to a different university this one is horrible, and does nothing but make it harder to get a degree for no reason.Jj Jj

This university is extremely careless when it comes to their students. I had a legitimate reason not to park in my designated parking spot and I received a ticket and tried to appeal for it. They declined it when I physically could not walk that far to class and I still have to pay the $50 fine. This is ridiculous and all they care about is taking you’re money.Brianna Dufrene

Went on a little family tour to kinda get a feel of what stores was close to campus and to just get out of the house and take a ride up to Hammond. Oh my goodness we were in awe everything is really nice and I feel good knowing my daughter will be going to school in a good area I feel relieved and at peace and I love shopping around Hammond square too. 😊😊Angel Wallace

I attended Delta College several years ago. My life has changed drastically. I received a great education and have grown from working in convenience stores to a full time Graphic Designer. This is by far the worst school in general you could ever study at. There is a lot of things they don't ever mention to you. For example did you know their passing rate is only about 20%? That means you have about an 80% chance of completely flunking out of the school. Their teachers will literally admit to you that they dont even know the information they are teaching and if they took the test they would fail. Their advisors are unreachable. Their coordinators never know what is going on especially Salas. The school decided to even change the entire format of a major test 2 days before the students were meant to take it. They just gave the students some obscure packet and told them to look it over before the test and good luck. They legitimately do not care about the students and only want to make people repeat for the money. Please spare yourself and attend any other school.Carlos Gonzalez

The faculty members at this school don't know their head from their posterior lower extremities. This school lines their pockets with thousands of dollars in student fees, compact cram a semester worth of studies into one month, then they squat where they're standing and squirt sneeze it out just for you so they dont have to pay you back. The only thing that is ever maintained here is a false sense of superiority while they come here to collect a check off their bare minimum, McDonald's drive through work ethic all while exploiting people. The staff is very rude and unprofessional. Nasty attitudes. Useless. Not helpful at all. First time ever coming here and needed directions where to sign up at and I asked some lady and she said “look for it yourself.” She was literally sitting at her desk reading a book. PLEASE DO YOUR JOB! Help students that wants to get help! I can’t believe she couldn’t answer a simple question. I wasted my time there.
