"Technology"? I can't even do my homework in class!? The cpu keeps freezing up! Lost my assignment in the Microsoft Cloud ON CAMPUS! Technical support is one overweight guy always eating at his cpu. I had to wait until the end of the quarter to meet with an advisor to sign up for classes I didn't want. Now I got a teacher that I didn't want. Got referred to get help with housing, the guy at Mary's Place never called me back. It's more like a outdated community college. The campus security running around there think they the real police. Several minority students told me they were followed around campus by them. Covid hit and I'm getting pressured by a rude narcissist teacher to come to the school to withdrawal from class. Then when I was trying to get back into school nobody answered a voicemail or email. Only owed the school around $400, got a collections bill for $1,000+. The King County Metro bus doesn't come by the school that much. Your definitely going to car transportation. The staff is mostly nice & helpful for the most part. But some things need to be changed.Andrae Jones

I am a 55 year old returning student who attended a " Little Ivy " college in my first time around. My prep school was rated #3 in the US by Forbes.I have enjoyed some of the best educational opportunities that the US can offer. I have surprisingly found most of the instructors here to be very dedicated and qualified. Some stand out, some are better than others, but none are lemons.They compare fairly well , within reason, of the instructors I had at my elite schools.BTW, because the program I am taking is in high demand in the private sector, the government provides extra money for financially qualified students. I will go through my six quarter program at about 20% of the cost.I had no idea that the money is out there if you take the time to look. Do yourself a favor and get off the couch. The building is nice, the atmosphere is nice. Most teachers are great and would like to see you be successful. The advising office is my least favorite because I am always continually being given incorrect information, information in which is very important to have. The advisors are sometimes very hard to get a hold of and some do not get back to you, and when they do they don't give you the information you needed. I have wasted a whole day and gas to go to appointments that I could have just gotten the information over the phone, or through email, the front office is touch and go as well. Other than that the school is nice, I'd recommend it, but make sure you get the correct information the first time and not when it's too late.Liz Brown

I love learning, so most of the classes I took at BC were pretty good. Nothing was too difficult. Most teachers were great, especially Nutrition and CPR/Health Safety. There is however, one teacher you should avoid at all costs. Her name is Leanne Kunders (Leed) in the Allied Health department. I watched her break the law with respect to disabled students, which was appalling. She makes up her own rules w regards to laws. She is a mediocre teacher who blames her students for her problems. She retaliates against students who ask for their disability rights. She clearly can't teach and has no patience for any of her students who ask questions because she doesn't know the answer. Her tests are full of mistakes and mispellings and then she'll tell the class how important it is to be detail oriented. Yeah, if only I had someone to be my mentor and an example. Not my instructor, of course. She'll front load a class for no good reason with tons of meaningless work, then leave the last month practically empty. Very poor organization. And then she'll tell students they need to be more organized. Very funny! She's a sorry excuse for a role model. Do the opposite of what she does and you'll be ok. Lastly, Leanne will whine for half the class about her problems instead of teaching. BC must be really hard up for instructors to take this sorry excuse for a teacher. Yawn! No, she's not even close to rising to the level of a professor.Jennifer M

—Love this college!!— Very good design program and amazing internship after all the trouble I went at another small school. Initially I started at Art Institute of Seattle but they accepted me without asking for any essay or portfolio which was already unusual. Then advisors started disappearing from the office until school announced that closing permanently in the middle of the quarter. I was terrified to lose my F1 Visa status. Last person left in International Office told me to leave the country within 14 days if I can't get enroll in another college. I couldn't believe it was happening for real in the US. But Bellevue College saved me. They accepted me in a few days and transferred all my immigration records within grace period. I was able to get an amazing internship this summer and company just offered me a permanent job. Forever grateful to my advisors and great professors!Kim Su

I strongly detest private education with instructors reading out of textbooks which certainly does occur at this institution, however, the majority of professors provide the state curriculum mixed with their own style making for an enjoyable experience. Organic chemistry, Psychology, Biology/Microbiology all get special shoutouts for their dedication and commitment to excellence providing the highest caliber of education while also being accessable after hours through email or on-site locations. Pre-req classes as always are definitely a scam in American education. All 100 level classes not applicable for your degree are a waste of very precious resources and unreturnable time. Online courses are as expected although I do enjoy that online requires much more work. I love studying extra and being challenged to accomplish more from less. So far I have had a just ok experience here at SPSCC. First starting with the financial aid office. We are almost three weeks into the quarter and they just now processed my awards (grants that is) but it is sitting and hasn’t been disbursed yet. Every time I have inquired about it I am given the excuse of their new ctclink system. We have got to get it together! People that apply for and receive financial aid and grants need these to help get through school. They are eligible for a reason and that is because they are low income. So taking an excessive amount of time of sending students their financial aid puts a damper on not only their learning but also their living situation. This is effecting the students and the students only. Also, the bookstore listed a book for my class as required so I purchased it a week before the quarter. Come to find out the Professor is using two completely different books. Had to make another trip to the campus to return it which was an inconvenience since I’m all online classes. Then the two books needed the bookstore does not carry. It’s been challenge after challenge here and this is just the beginning.glenda fox

I attended this college for exactly five months, and I decided to leave because I lost interest in the classes that I took, and I didn't have the interest to have a major career. An education for myself would have been very important, and I had the capability to work with subjects if I was committed to the work that I was doing, but I didn't have the interest, so I decided to be a writer instead. I also left the college because I was treated carelessly by many students, and I was treated the same way in high school, so I didn't want to continue spending more time in an environment where I would continue to be disregarded. If you are committed to getting an education, then it is all a matter of interest for what your career is, and it's up to anyone for what they want best, but even if I don't have a high education, I still have moral education from my potential to be a writer. I do recommend this college for anyone, but I hoped that the students would have been more sincere and polite, then I would have stayed there.Colby Kanter

I attended a few classes here a long time ago. I needed to get the transcripts rather quickly because the deadline for University admissions is closing in. When I visited the office the lady that helped me proceeded to treat me like dirt. I asked if the document would be in an envelope and if they needed the address I was sending it to and she proceeded to mansplain transcripts ("this is the paper its going to go on after I feed it into the printer"). From the perspective of someone who works in higher education…if I were a student and had to be mansplained to every time in needed to speak to registration/financial aid/cashiering…I would complain to her boss. Such a terrible experience trying to just consider registering, that I am now no longer interested. I called to make an appointment with an academic adviser. I was put on hold for 20 mins without ever speaking to a human or given any other option. After 20 minutes, I hung up and called the main number. She said, "well, I can't do much, but they have direct number I can transfer you to." So, she transferred me. To some random faculty member in some department I had no interest in. That person was very nice and told me she'd walk my request over, and have someone call me back from advising. They did call me back to set up an appointment, which we did. However, I was driving and couldn't write down the details, so she assured me she would email me all the info. Of course, I never received the info. So, I just called to cancel my appointment. The overwhelming impression I got was one of incompetence, inefficiency, and that the right had didn't know what the left had was doing. Oh, and it's a half hour wait on the phone to even speak to the right hand. I was a new student, contemplating studying here. But after the way I was dealt with on the phone on my very first interaction, I now have ZERO interest in attending, and will continue my search for a school that has its act together, and knows what they are doing. I have had nothing but Positive Experiences since I have been at Edmonds Community College for the last 4 months now. I am going through the Workfirst Program at the Gateway Bldg. They had me go through the Solid Foundations Course & a College Sucess course. before I started my summer courses of Math, English; Critical Writing, & another 2-credit Write class. All of the Instructors that I have had are amazing, they helped me in every aspect of figuring out what I wanted to take by different surveys & then they help to walk you through getting your all of your Financial Documents in order & get registered for all of my classes over the next 2-years while I am working on my Degree. Your Education has gone elsewhere. Programs last year were changed invalidating most of my credits. Classes they used to offer in Math and Sciences are no longer being offered despite having brand new facilities just built. It is going through a strategic pivot from a transfer and foreign exchange college to a "social improvement" center. Worst college experience. The clinical advisor is incapable of her job and pushed the clinical to a future start even though the CPR card takes one day to get but she decides to push it a whole week when we should have been done the day the quarter finished. The phlebotomy instructor is really rude and disrespectful of students and makes students not feel comfortable to speak up and if to ask a question she acts like your a child completely rude. I don't recommend coming to this college. Also the virtual graduation was upsetting to know I had sent my information and sent a photo and not even be on it. Really makes me unhappy to know I spent money and time to be treated as a student like trash and not get acknowledged for the hard work and time put into trying to succeed. I won't want to come back to this college for the at most disrespectful people.Ryan

This is a terrible college. It’s like pulling teeth to get anyone to email you back about important, time-sensitive information, and you get the runaround when they do. This happened when I was applying for admission, and is currently happening now that they’ve denied me, because they are incompetent, the certificate I worked so hard for. Because they changed the numbers on some math courses, they all of a sudden don’t count towards my certificate, and they lost the official transcript that I sent from my former college, and are denying my transfer credit. Man i had trouble here. Not only did they give me the wrong classes but it turns out i never had FAFSA to cover my classes. And they make me pay for them two years after I left the college. Thank goodness i never continued to study here. I know they have a lot of students to manage but still if you were able to catch that years later then why not then? I knew something was wrong here. This school is a joke. My girlfriend currently attends NU. From what I have seen of the place, the people, and the education. It is a disaster. Now keep in mind, my girlfriend works a job, goes to school, and comes home to do her homework. She is a living ball of stress. So when she has to miss a "chapel," session because she has been assaulted with assignments from every single one of her classes, the people who run this place are kind enough to charge her $500 for all the chapel sessions she HAD to miss if she was to do her assignments and pass her classes. I get that this place is a Christian school, but church should never be mandatory. There is a time and place for it. Certainly not in the middle of the week when people are neck deep in assignments from their professors. They also over charge the life out of you for tuition from what I can tell. This place just seems like an extra expensive community college. Some of the professors are also very lazy, unhelpful, and very unsympathetic. A lot of the people that attend are pompous rich kids that have never worked a day in their lives, the kind of "mommy and daddy bought me a brand new BMW," rich kids. There are a few good people in this place, but very few. Overall, the cons definitely outweigh the pros here. You're a lot better off finding a school that offers a flexible schedule, doesn't make you pay extra for something trivial like Church, and has a more friendly environment.Aaron Holthouser

This is an amazing Christian university. I got my BA here and the professors and students are very kind, welcoming, and supportive. The administration is a hassle to deal with though. As I tell everyone, pretty much everything is amazing about the school until you have to deal with the system of administrators and such, which is really difficult and annoying to do. But other than that this university has small class sizes, is very affordable compared to similar universities in the US, offers an amazing Christian community and experiance, and give you professors who care about you as an individual. The English department in particular is unbelievably incredible, and get dozens of other majors to switch to English each year just based on taking one or two English classes with them. They are simply magnificent. The campus is beatiful, the location is great near Seattle but just far enough away, and the oppurtunities for work and fun in the area are amazing. 9/10!!!R3aper Rising

Great, welcoming environment and school; feels like a family away from family and a home away from home. A couple grievances though: 1. While I understand they are a very community oriented school, I don't think that we should have to apply to live OFF campus. I find it a bit peculiar and a bit frustrating that you are required to live on campus, especially considering it's hard for first year students to get into the apartments, and how expensive the residence halls are. 2. I know it's a Christian school, I find it frustrating that you are required to get a certain amount of spiritual life credits, and you are charged for not obtaining all of them. I think chapel should be enough to get these and you should be able to get them waived if you serve at church, especially considering one can get busy with work/school and may not have time. But other than that I love this school, the faculty and professors are amazing and the students are all so welcoming.Christian Kopet

Difficulties with one of the financial assistance representative. She wasn’t very helpful and was rude. My daughter completed all the necessary financial aid paperwork weeks ago including myself turning in the IRS and financial documents needed for her to apply for financial aid. Jordan, the financial assistance staff wasn’t very willing to answer questions and ended up hanging up on my daughter never to answer the phone again. She received an email indicating she didn’t meet the deadline to begin school this quarter. She had turned in all documents multiple times. We escalated the situation to leader ship and the financial aid issues were quickly resolved and my daughters account was placed on hold so that she is able to get into school this quarter. After more consideration, we have chosen to pursue education at Seattle Central CC, this school is not the right fit for us. We all have to remember that when we are taking roles and employment and helping the community and serving others, we truly have to feel that way inside. We really have to have empathy and compassion and love for others and working a role where people are going to need your help and ask questions. It takes patience. And if you don’t have that, maybe you should consider a different career. Seattle Central community college has taken my daughter on and she really enjoyed her teachers and her class and I think that was the best choice.Aisha Pleasant

I attend Everett Community College online. I love the school but the financial aid disbursements are a pain. I am pleading with the school to please offer direct deposit to ALL of their students. Today I had to drive around to cash the paper check they send to out of state students. My bank could not cash it immediately because it would be a two day wait for verification purposes. Well, I need my money today to purchase my books. I went to 6 different locations to try to cash the check. They all said they were unable to verify the check with the school. At Speedy Cash, one lady was looking at me like I was a thief. She has never heard of Everett Community College or a disbursement check. I just sighed, grabbed my check and walked out. Finally, my last stop was Ace Cash Express and they gave me no hassle but charged me $80 to cash it. I left the house at 10:00 am and did not arrive home until after 1:00 p.m. In all it took me almost three hours to try to cash a paper check and deposit it into my bank card. So much time wasted trying to cash a paper check.Val Sc.

I would not recommend this school to anyone especially international students. They created new policy that new international students need to live in the dorm that will be finished in Fall quarter at least 2-3 quarters. (EXCEPT students who are under 18, have relatives or legal parents here, or disable). I don't see any good reason for this policy. Why do you have to force us to stay in your expensive building? If it cheaper than other apartments around there, I wouldn't be offended. Their expensive classes are not worth it. The staffs are good but some are not, they are not professional. If I can turn back time, I wouldn't waste my time and money here.Phanwara R.

The health center is the most unprofessional medical staff I've ever encountered. They cancelled an appointment I made several weeks in advance on the day of. When I tried to reschedule, they couldn't get me in until the following month because priority goes to "yeast infections and things like that." I asked if I could have someone else's appointment in the event they cancel, at which point the woman on the phone got audibly irritated, like this was an extravagant and far-fetched request, and the call ended. Fast forward and I'm getting a call back from an upset nurse practitioner for the sole purpose of squabbling with me over the previous phone call and who had no intention of getting me an exam. Completely asinine behavior from someone who is supposed to be a health care professional.Ben Fitzger

I'm getting my masters are there in Computer Science. While it is not as intense as I would have expected it to be, it is definitely a great second choice to UW if you are looking for in person classes and are interested in pursuing a PHD. It is worth noting that the UW Professional Master's in Computer Science will not help you get a PHD. The lack of a project or research will block you from PHD programs.Soren Ludwig

I live only 3 blocks from here and it's got rare plants so I like that since I need a cane to go places. Too bad a Street goes through campus so they got a skybridge that goes to third floor so you have to use steps or elevators on both ends. I'd be very wary with this school. They don't pay the teachers for their full work. Instead ONLY pay them for the time they're with students and none of the prep. I don't know how this is legal, but it's robbing the students of an adequate education, and exploiting the teachers hard work. High turn over rate. The place is poorly run and managed. A lot of misinformation. The school lacks a lot of basic supplies to teach, and lacked even a first aid kit.Willie Garcia

I am the parent of a student. I am very disappointed in the graduation venue they chose for these students who have worked so hard. First off everyone is talking through the ceremony, the sound system horrible, and awful old school auditorium. How disrespectful to the students to provide such a venue. I went to the Nursing program here after being CNA for several years, attending the program and getting licensed was the best decision I have ever made. The professors and instructors were very supportive. I feel like I’m getting scammed. I’m retaking this class first time was because my previous teacher didn’t grade most of my work that I summited direct to her with all paperwork and it was totally mess like nothing’s ever organized and dated correctly and she got fired so other instructors had to take over and still didn’t care about my assignment so i had no choice but failing. And when i retook it for second time with same class due to her personal reason it was mostly online or self taught with ppt she posted on blackboard. I only got to be in classroom 3 times. my new instructor won’t grade my quiz so i had to email her and advisor but non of them gave me any updates nor response so I guess they just want me to retake it over and over again until they can do their job. It’s large amounts of money they required too so I’m wasting my time and money and it just seems like they’re scamming me. Whenever my friends or people around me asking about this school I never recommend. Because no one need to deal with this mess. We've hosted students from the programs over the years and they come in with little clinical experience. They're not prepared to work with patients out of school at all. Up until recently our team was okay spending hours in training (while the school gets paid the tuition fee, we get nothing) hoping to keep the student on long-term. We got stood up. A promise was made to stay on and then no communication, no reply. The school should teach honesty, integrity and professionalism as part of the curriculum.Ilona F

I graduated from the medical assistant program and the teachers were all amazing and seem to truly care about their student’s success and wellbeing, especially Mojda! My only downside is that I did struggle with some of the administrative staff having poor communication and being disorganized. I definitely had to advocate for myself. The day program is great. They make sure that pretty much every staff member knows your name…even if it's been weeks or months since they've seen you, you walk into the "Big Room" and the staff all welcomes you and knows your name. The nurses are great and they are so helpful. Not feeling well on a Sunday afternoon, you can go in and see a nurse and they will help you out. The case managers are great, too. Very helpful and they will check in with you by phone if you don't show up for meds each week…some people might find that invasive, but when I was home sick with the flu for over a week with no one to help me, it was nice to get a call from my case worker to make sure I was okay. There are activities, showers, laundry facility, nap room and 3 meals a day…with a dinner size hot meal for lunch. They are now open from 6:30 am til 4 pm (except Weds when it closes at 2 pm for a weekly staff meeting). Great place, great staff. Highly recommended.Eric Phillips

I was given the name of Barkley Place in Fort Myers, FL by A Place For Mom to check out. I contacted them and they had a vacancy that was available soon. The Manager sent the information and pictures. Since I wasn't ready to move that quickly, Anita Lacy, kept me posted of vacancies and moved in on January 6, 2022. Prior to my move I did check it out and was pleased that a 3rd floor apartment was available. We completed the paperwork and set a move-in date. Upon arrival, realized that there were so many people involved that made my move so effortlessly and have continued to make my stay as comfortable as possible. This is not a new building, however it is well maintained. Maintenance is well qualified to handle everything. The whole staff is most gracious and knows your name. They make an effort to know your name and will address you by your name. WOW! How many places will the whole staff do that? We found three excellent options, visited them all, and made our final choice based in location and features. My friend moved into his new apartment there in February, and loves it! I had no idea what to expect in this process, but everyone we worked with was so friendly and professional; a good experience overall! I am so thankful for A Place for Mom. I didn't know how to even start my search. As soon as I connected with Dawn, she provided a calm, reassuring voice that I needed. She immediately helped me identify what facilities would fit our needs. Then she handled all of the appointments to setup tours and followed up to see what feedback I gave. She was wonderful. My mother is now in an absolutely fantastic independent living facility and loves it. Before taking the tour, she would not even discuss going to a facility. Choosing a memory care community for our loved one was a near-impossible experience. No place can be the right fit for everyone, so tour at least five places before you decide. I may not recommend memory care facilities for most people or do it again myself. However, I think Aegis at Rogers Park was right for what we were looking for, for a few universal reasons: 1. Incredibly compassionate and invested direct care staff, even with limited resources. The team that actually helped my mother worked very hard and maintained loving kindness and efficacy throughout. I would have personally recommended nearly everyone I met in the memory care community. 2. Open availability and support for visiting. I felt like I could visit any time without disrupting anyone, and sometimes even felt eagerly welcomed! It made visiting a lot less stressful. 3. Our overall experience was very positive. There were some issues along the way, but when it came to her care, comfort, and joy, I don't think we could have found a better place for my mom to live as happily as possible given her health. I can't say enough good things about this place. We moved my elderly friend here from a nearby assisted living place where she was being completely neglected. Moving her to Aegis was like night and day in the quality of her care and she has thrived. She's been there for about 6 months, and every time I visit I'm so impressed with this place. Each and every staff member is loving, caring, patient and kind. They all seem to truly care about the residents. Her appearance is so much better since she's been here. Her clothes are clean, her fingernails are painted, her hair is washed and brushed. Her apartment is always clean and her clothes are always folded. Something that really impressed me recently is that we had a little Xmas tree for her in a box in a closet, and a staff member set it up for her. They really go the extra mile. In addition to her personal care, there are always activities going on and they make sure residents are engaged and stimulated. They do walks, song and movement, movies, manicures, movement, word games, scenic outings, art projects and more. It's a great place, I hope I can retire there some day!Emi M

Aegis of Queen Anne at Rodgers Park has allowed my mother to bloom in ways that leave my jaw on the floor. Mom was living independently with dementia. This meant she was isolated, lonely and in danger of multiple household hazards. Believing she was just fine, she also refused to make a change. A solo-car accident was the segue into assisted living. While mom wants to return home, as so many in her situation do, she is engaged socially and emotionally, and her needs are taken care of. This has allowed her the time and space to fully engage in multiple activities a day (art, exercise, writers' group, lectures, outings, shopping etc), make friends, and smile in ways I haven't seen in decades. The staff at Rodgers Park are superlative. They have given mom, and me, a sense of security, belonging and home. If your loved one needs help with activities of daily living help in order to fully embrace life, I recommend Aegis of Queen Anne at Rodgers Park wholeheartedly.Caitlin Dittmer

These days dog walking around the college is starting to feel a little less surreal when the pandemic started a year ago it was so still it was hard to shake the eerie post apocalyptic feeling I would get passing through but while still mostly shut down there are signs of normalcy returning, buses running, ongoing construction nearly complete and it appears some classes have resumed? There are more cars in the parking lots but certainly not back to pre pandemic levels. A year later now July 22 and the new auto shop appears complete. I have loved coming to this school. All my experience with teachers has been amazing, and almost all the staff has been great to work with, with exception to your average grouch here and there. I strongly recommend this school for those wanting to come back to school after an extended break from any sort of education. Worst college ever! They do not response to emails and phone call when I need information for my transcript. They say email is the best option to reach them and I've sent like more than 10 emails and still haven't heard back from them. Education wise they have professors who don't know what they are teaching and also stubborn as well. Highly recommand going to other college and stay out of this one. You can thank me later.Be Smart

Last year my mom decided it was time to move into an Assisted Living facility. As a longtime resident of West Seattle, she chose to stay in West Seattle to be close to family and her doctor and friends. She considered all of the options and selected "The Mount." She was looking for an apartment with a lot of natural light, where the food was good, and the schedule of the meals and assistance was flexible. She found that and so much more at The Mount. Now, a year later, we are so happy with her choice. EVERYONE on staff at The Mount has been incredibly welcoming and helpful. They made my mom's transition as smooth as possible and helped her meet people and feel included in the community. We love the "grill" menu–we can always get what we want to eat and the chef has even offered to create that special dish if we get hungry for something not on their menu. The seasonal activities are wonderful–lots of entertainment and decorations and good food. The aides help my mom with various things and they keep her laundry done, and the waste baskets in her room emptied multiple times a day. Everything in her apartment is so clean and fresh. What has stood out for me is that everyone from the Director, to the facilities workers, to the reception staff, to the nurses and aides, absolutely everyone takes time to care. They are never too busy or in a hurry. I love seeing how they live out their Christian values each and every day. My mom is thriving in her new home and we love that.Luann Budd

Nov. 11, 2015 They offer everything from independent living to temporary rehabilitative skilled nursing services to care for dementia. I have been here four times for probably an average of two weeks for rehabilitation of fractures. The staff I have dealt with is kind, patient, helpful and fun. However they don't always jump up to respond to call bells and they occasionally offer help and then forget. There is food available 24/7. You can be served in your room, in a small dining room on your floor and a maximum of 4 doors from your room or a cafeteria or a dining room. The food is good for cafeteria fare with a nice variety in the cafeteria. You can raid anytime the refrigerators and freezers on the therapy floor kitchens and a large glass front refrigerator in the cafeteria.They have a beautiful chapel, spectacular views, (you can see hills W. Seattle, across Elliott Bay with ferries to the Space Needle with Mt. Baker behind on a clear day) regular entertainment and pleasant outdoor areas. The therapists are good and patient but seldom exactly on time. The medical staff (I'm Group Health, other providers may be different) are seldom to be seen. I could write so much but suffice it to say, if you have to have skilled nursing care for a while this is a good place to be.Bruce Bowden

Extremely understaffed. Very bad Supervisor/manager. NEVER trust her!! Not enough teamwork especially in TCU on the 5th floor. TCU is nearly impossible for a CNA and/or a Nurse to function efficiently on the job as it's a higher patient load there and higher understaffing. Equipment is never maintained well enough and if a patient especially a priest gets hurt due to the organizations error the employee involved in an incident involving broken equipment gets fired immediately. Staff have passed out on the floor and whatever you do , don't get wounded or you will immediately become a liability and be fired like many have already experienced.. Many have been fired for NO reason and many have quit on the spot and moved on to a new job. They ride on their very great long past reputation. That is all. They are absolutely nothing like what they used to be. Used to be the best!! Now its just a fake image.Nadynne Suderman

Their staff are always kind, respectful, compassionate, reliable and trustworthy the staff goes beyond the call of duty to care for their clients and assist family members. Cindy Van Hook, Community Health Director, Karla Clark, Community Relations Director, Gillian Mukula, Personal Services Manager, and Albert Munanga Interim Executive Director, are all efficient, professional, easy and kind. Lack of communication and unprofessional staff all around, when paperwork for deadlines approach and Skagit asks you to do something before a deadline they will threaten you to complete it or you will be punished, after attempting to do what they ask they don't respond and you end up waiting for a week just for a response "oh you gotta contact this person" then its another week of waiting and by the time your papers get to where it's needed the deadline is over, super unprofessional and Skagit needs to better their communication.Bailey duenas

Nicest park in the city. We love to come here. This Skagit Valley Park's and Recs park keeper is a very nice guy. I'm not sure of his name. Sorry about that, but he is a great guy.!! The work on the softball diamonds looks fabulous and was done very quickly. I am impressed. They take very good care of this park are friendly, helpful, and as it turns out very patient. great staff.. however, if you are a veteran trying to get military experience to transfer over to college credits. Don't waste your time. It seems as though they're making up classes to drain you financially and make them mandatory. As a prior Army Sergeant, i didnt feel that a class that taught you how to read a day planner really was necessary. This school is amazing at finding ways to drain the bank.Brandon Blake

Revel Province, Tutt Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado. My 97 year old father moved in May of this year. He is quite able to take care of himself in his 1 bedroom apartment. However, the staff have been so accommodating whenever he does need that extra help. Everyone in this facility have been nothing but kind and caring. This is a great school with a beautiful and eco friendly campus. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Parking gets negative five stars because it is EXPENSIVE, and the parking police will do everything they can to make it not only impossible to park, but also really easy to mess up. Don't park on a line. Don't even toe the line. You will pay more than your weekly wages. Don't park for one singular second beyond your paid parking time, they WILL ticket you more than you pay in car insurance. They will take your money for three hours even if you only need to park for 20 minutes. They will NOT retract a ticket if you arrive while the ticket is being written. They will not retract a ticket if you had no idea what the rules were or if you have to miss class time you paid for because your teacher keeps you late. They will not even retract a ticket if you overparked because you had to be taken away in an ambulance and nobody could get your car for you in time. They may reduce the price to a whopping 5-50 times the actual cost of parking if you struggle financially. So, bring a small car, arrive 2hrs early, and pay for all day parking. This way, you don't risk paying hundreds of dollars. You only risk seriously wasting your time and money. Thanks campus parking.Kiana Takaki

I have been going here since 2013 working and doings school part time. There are a lot of great teachers here, some I wouldn't trade having been taught under for anything. Do not, however, go here if you don't have the money to pay for tuition, books and your own bills on your own. The financial aid department is slow, like criminally slow, and multiple times I and other students that I have personally talked to have had to wait most of the quarter if not almost the whole quarter to get their financial aid refunds. The school is nice, some of the teachers are great, but the front office and administration has a long way to go before they can consider themselves a real college. The parking is also horrible and expensive. They have been charging for parking in Bothell, a city that isn't Seattle and shouldn't be charging as much as they do for parking for however many years, so their parking garages are well and paid for I'm sure. If you have options you should go elsewhere as far as I am concerned. This school has yet to figure out that its students are their priority, not just people to make money off.Nathan Schornak

It is an excellent school! I've had a great online learning experience at Cascadia College during pandemic. Being an international student is hard enough but international advisors helped me with my classes, personal issues, medical stuff and I did not have to wait says for an appointment like in other small colleges. The dorms are really nice. I Made a lot of friends. All my professors have also been very understanding during this time and lenient when necessary. They make me forget that classes are online because they are all so excellent at their jobs. Thanks to them I got admitted to UW Seattle Computer Science program! Cascadia College is one of the best colleges around here that really prepares you for UW. It's like a UW bootcamp! I'm so blessed that I happened to transfer hereTj Kim

Some amazing teachers, and great campus. However, the Washington Hall building is in dire need of attention. The vending machines have been broken for nearly 5 years now, and have robbed me of around $15 as I keep expecting something to be fixed. The theater is in major need of attention as the AC hasn’t worked in just as long, lights flicker, just needs some real attention.judahMan 2

Excellent place, very helpful! I love this campus, the workers are friendly. They have a great ratio of people willing to help, versus not as helpful. They also strive to do better, to listen to students, and for that I think they have earned five stars.Nymeria Stark
