i came in for one reason to get job after graduation been going on two yrs feels like high school classes. Im a criminal Justice major and i like program except one huge thing it needs more hands traning so you prepared for the job once you graduate and not have move on for four degree and they need to have dorminties to live on i hardly see people on campus it almost empety they have two many campuses they need to have one and the paint falling off the school. I hoping i graduate and get job in but i feel unprepared to due the classes they made to if i knew this i would have gone out of state because these tech schools are scam been at midlands tech for my associates in arts degree if i was going for a different major i would be more thrild they have good health science program that gets job as soon as graduate due to the clinicals and broad certification test. some classes have been cancled to there harldy many students in eithermichael mcdaniel

The advisors are literally the worst I have seen. They are basically unaware of how to advise, impossible to reach, don't follow through, and give no recommendations on pre requisite classes. Now the health science department is even worse. The instructors pride themselves on a high failure percentage. They deviate from school policy and ALL Bio 210 and 211 professors are arrogant and unwilling to support your child. Stay away from the arrogant professors, AND they don't care about your future.AB Gentry

this technical college is the best technical college in south carolina, there was a problem with the workers at the edgefield campus, they lost my transcripts, and they tried to cancel my advisement appointment so they could meet their boyfriend in the parking lot, the students at the edgefield campus were rude, and trashy, they are not going to stop me from going there, the classes that you have to take are wonderful, the instructional methods are excellentJessica Taylor

I left a BSN program to attend CCHS and it was the best decision I ever made for my nursing career! Compared to the university I previously attended, CCHS classes are small and intimate, we had easy access to our teachers and advisors and we had a TON of hands-on clinical experience. I felt very prepared for the NCLEX as well as my first nursing job after I graduated. I then was able to work as an RN while taking classes online for my BSN after I graduated. Two days ago, I received an acceptance letter into CCHS’s Neurodiagnostic Technology program! The application process was made easy due to great communication, kindness and patience from Robert, the Coordinator of Admissions. Mrs. Ashley Hastings, the Program Chair, answered all of my questions in detail, making me more eager to join the program. I am looking forward to gaining knowledge from her. I've attended CCHS for almost 2 years now. I like how the staff has worked diligently with student during COVID-19. While everyone is still going through difficult times, they have been able to adapt to regulations and restrictions of healthcare that have been placed during the pandemic. Great local university offering a solid education, but lacking administration. For its size, USC Upstate offers an impressive number of courses, specializing in education and nursing. The vast majority of professors employed at Upstate are talented individuals and gifted teachers, very skilled at imparting knowledge on students. The actual grounds and structures of Upstate are well kept up, and consistently being updated, improved, and added on. As an alumnus, I am thoroughly happy with the education that I received at Upstate. My only complaint about Upstate is the administrative department. Admissions, financial aid, and any other non-education portion of the school seems disconnected and completely unaware. I frequently had to call or stop by to address what seemed to be extremely minor issues, only to spend hours running around to find a fix. My wife applied, never received an acceptance letter, but she later received a confirmation of financial aid. Never assume they've handled an issue that you have any concerns about. USC Upstate is a great school, one that I will continually offer my support for. However, they could definitely improve the admissions department, and all other administrative facets of the school. Stay on top of any issues before they become urgent and you should do just fine here.Jake Hennett

The second semester resulted in a slightly better experience regarding the online education format. We plan to enroll in more in person classes next semester. Several professors last semester did not seem proficient with the virtual/online format or appear to care that students weren't getting the same or comparable education to in person classes. I wish we had enrolled in a fully distance learning program elsewhere, as they are proficient with everything online learning entails. Also, when choosing a University, many compare tuition costs. However, the fees each semester are significant and sometimes defy logic. This college is a joke, I hate that I even transferred here. I should of looked at these reviews before I even thought about attending. I'm going to try my best to get out this university. The staff here always gives you the run around, seems very uneducated and not much helpful to make your transfer goes as smooth as possible. I hate this school already and I haven't even started yet till next week. Plus if you are a veteran you basically have to do everything yourself, they don't know their job and you have to figure out everything on your own. Something is always missing. They are clueless. I can't tell you how many times I had to take trips up there because my phone calls were never returned and I'm not even a current student yet, or they tell you your good to start school in the upcoming semester then something else pops up you need in order to start. If I could give 0 stars I would because this school is not even worth one half of a star. From the first day I even considered attending this school to the last day I will attend I have told myself this was a HUGE mistake. I am an out of state student, on my first day of class no one told me where to go I didn’t even know who my instructor was. I was in the financial aid office in tears because I was so lost and no one cared at all. I was never given a tour of the campus and no one replied to my emails when I would ask questions in regards to the issues I was experiencing. On the student orientation day I was told I would receive a packet of information about the school along with a few other items they were giving out to the new students. I walked into the room it was being held in and not one person said anything to me. I sat through a 1-2 hour presentation having no clue what was going on. And this isn’t even the worst part. When I spoke with my financial aid advisor about getting loans for my classes, initially I was told I would be spending around 350 per class. Then when it came time for my refund to come back I was told that I owed over 1000 dollars in fees. Obviously being confused as to where that came from I called asking what was going on. I spoke with one of the only men in the financial aid department and he was the most rude person I have ever dealt with. I told him how frustrated I was and how confused I was about the situation and why I was being charged for that amount when I pulled out a 1500 dollar loan, and was told that amount would be plenty to cover my 2 classes. When I told him I was going to transfer to a school that actually cares about their students and not their money his response was (with a snotty chuckle) “that’s perfectly fine” he also suggested that if I want to save money then I should “get married faster to help cover the costs of your classes”. After swallowing my pride, paying the balance and continuing to take classes the same thing happened yet again except this time, I have been dropped from two classes for “not paying the balance in full” even though I have a payment plan set up and have paid my dues each month. I have been told that I am not allowed to transfer and that they will not give me my transcripts to do so. I have been told by the head person of the financial aid department that they don’t believe they are doing anything wrong because “we are just trying to get the money from you that you owe us” when describing to her how frustrated I was and how terribly I had been treated all she said was “I am only going to address the issue in regards to you owing us money” this school has a lot of work to do and I would never recommend anyone ever attend here because they truly only care about leaching off of the students and sucking them dry. I graduated from high school in 2012. The statics were stacked against me; African American girl, from a single parent home, childless, no criminal record and first to attend college in my immediate family. I'm a "mama's girl", so I wasn't ready to leave home. First, I enrolled at another local college. The institutions polices & procedures were extensive. This caused me to withdraw from the school in question. Central Carolina Technical College was the next school on my list. My transition into Tech was easy. The staff and faculty were welcoming, patience and encouraging. The course work assignment were realistic and allowed multiple chances to answer the questions correctly. Central Carolina likes to hire in house. I've been blessed to work 3 positions while enrolled in classes. After graduation I worked 2 more jobs as a customer service representative and a tutor at the college. My visit to Central gave me freedom to grow as a person. Life is what you make it. Get involved. Called financial aid between the summer and fall courses multiple times a week to get an update on my Financial Aid (dead-end job at the time) and they never answered. I put in for financial aid Mid-Summer semester and would call multiple times a week leading up to the beginning of the fall semester with my name, Student ID, and number to call back… They never responded. I was unable to get any of the books and by the time I was able to get them it was halfway through the semester? Guess what comes in? The financial aid I applied for 4 months ago and never got a call for an update that I requested easily 10 total times. I had to withdraw from all of my courses to prevent shattering any hopes of a GPA. Then they try to bill me for the money that FAFSA took back? They couldn't update me on when my money was coming in but they don't mind sending a letter, huh? This place is an absolute joke. Pitt Community College has not been a good experience for me at all. I received no help from the financial aid office, they told me they could do nothing for me unless I had a parent present even though I am 20 years old and am completely independent from them and they love in a whole other state. Don't even get me started on the "advisor" situation there. I was assigned to a "success navigator" not an advisor and he had no idea what he was doing. His name is Clark Howerton. Being a first generation college student, I needed guidance so I went to him. He offered me 0 help at all. I was then transferred to a "real" advisor during my 3rd semester there. She again offered no help. I had to email her 2 times over the course of a week, so that I was finally able to get a response. Instructors told me that she was not a good advisor… so why is she one? Because of these mistakes through pitt, I am falling behind in my academic schedule. Would not recommend this institution to anyone.Presley Bryant

The science department (bio, biochem, chemistry, physics) is amazing and so helpful in supporting students aiming for any graduate level education. Every professor pushes you to be better while also guiding you to be a better person and student. They are all straight forward and even step by step help you apply and learn about career options. I couldn't have asked for better mentors in that department. And I'm thankful every day that they invested so much in me and helped me get into medical school. The school community in itself is not accommodating. I felt ostracized my first year being out of state and being minority. I almost transferred my freshman year because I was just that miserable living on campus. The community is not diverse by any means and it is 100% a suitcase school, despite what I was told when I visited before applying. I don't necessarily blame the school for the students attitude but I never felt welcomed or at home at Anderson after 4 years. I am also a Christian, and did not agree with many of Anderson's values, although their rules are not difficult to follow, just tedious. Essentially, Anderson Univeristy has a fantastic science department, and I would rate them by themselves 10/10 but the community there I would rate 4/10. If you just want a great science education, they have it, but social life isn't as guaranteed.Meagan Ocampo

If you are in favor of a small Baptist community, then by all means go here. However, if you are anything but that, then expect to be forced to go to Chapel in order to graduate, a zero tolerance for married couples or any couple in that matter, and residence advisors inspecting your room in depth if there is any suspicion that you are doing anything against their small Baptist community policies. Don't expect the best one on one attention because every other class and special needs student gets it with the same professor. Lastly, most of the on campus living have a huge mold problem that affected my friends' health as well as my own, and some campus complexes were infested with roaches. By the way tuition is $22,570 per two semesters, while other public schools like Clemson is $13,022 per two semesters.Joshua Hendrix

I am currently a student at Anderson University, and overall I have had a great experience. I have made great friends and the academic curriculum is excellent in my major. I will say that the school is not for everyone. It has a very strong christian atmosphere and students are held to certain rules and standards not found at other schools. However, this is part of what I like about Anderson as it helps prepare students for the real life scenarios of being responsible adults. I will tell you this though, every professor puts in 110% into everyone's education, I have never been denied academic help when I needed it. I really like the flexibility of the online courses, the affordability and the variety of degree options they have. My advisors and teachers have been very great but communicating with the other staff at this school is very frustrating. The employees in the financial aid department are very rude and condescending and they hang up on you abruptly whenever they get frustrated with you. The registar’s office is by far the WORST. Very nasty employees in that department who talk down to you and treat you like a child. They seem to forget they work for a college, not an elementary school. One spent 10 minutes arguing on the phone with me just because I wanted my new advisor’s phone number and email. The “career counselors” offer no type of help or advice and they just tell you to “google it” whenever you have a basic question about a certain major. They are also very judgmental if you express a desire to finish with only an associates degree and not transfer to a 4 year, not considering not everyone has the financial means to do so. The call center employees are very disrespectful and seem like they want to find reasons to argue with callers. There are also huge issues with miscommunication at this school and everyone seems to have different answers about certain topics which causes a lot of errors. Certain departments are also not great about contacting back even after leaving numerous voicemails/emails. Overall I like the school itself but they need to either retrain the employees on basic respect and customer service or they need to hire new ones.Resident Anon

The teachers here are all outstanding and they make you feel like they want you to succeed. I have taken College Algebra, Biology and Spanish in the classroom and the instructors were all topnotch. There is also additional help available to students in the free math lab and writing centers as well as Spanish tutoring. The online classes are not that confusing but you do need to pay attention because sometimes you are required to take classes through third-party online textbooks via the access codes. The only problems I had were with transferring credits to the school and getting contradictory information from the financial aid office on one occasion. I do wish the school did a better job with advising students but I understand the logistics issues. Everyone at the hub is friendly and helpful! Use them they are a great resource. Aiken Tech is the best school I have ever went to. Compared to Peru State(NE), & Suffolk Community College(NY).. The professors are great, very helpful. THEY want YOU to learn the material and pass. They are not there to TRY and flunk you. The president is very friendly and kind as well as the staff members. They really want to help you achieve your goals. The library is great, very nice atmosphere, and very resourceful. The school has an academic success center where they provide FREE tutoring!! How awesome is that! I also love how new the school looks compared to other schools. Brand new computers in the math lab. PS. Great Security, and Officers that patrol the school. They are always around. Worth test center! I went there for CNA skills test. I was doing Bed pan procedure. Even I was doing wrong. I was trying to wipe it down. The lady snatched the paper towels out of me. That was rude. And another guy was doing blood pressure procedure. Machine was broken. But they didn't help him. So They failed him. That is so rude and unprofessional. We are paying money for the test! My siblings and I have attended this school. I'm currently obtaining my Pharmacy Technician degree. There were some times where my siblings had to retake classes because the school wouldn't accept them even though it was what the requirement really said. I have had a few bad instructors but most of the time I've had great teachers. I guess it really depends on the student. I went to midlands tech for many years. I struggled through the nursing program (and associates in arts and associated in science programs) for years as a single mother of a child with disabilities who was also exiting a decade long abusive relationship. I walked on a broken foot for four months through Clinicals in order to make it, had a foot surgery, totaled cars, and 20+ hours a week of therapies for my son with disabilities. And still I made it to my LPN semester only to end up in the hospital the last week before finals. I was told that I could not have a medical drop as I had received one for my foot surgery and was forced to take test 3,4, and the final in the week following my visit to the hospital. My grade dropped from a 90 to a 79.4 and I was told that I’d have to repeat everything all over again. The ombudsman and the VP went to Mrs. Bannister and begged her to allow an exception based off of the healthcare related nature of my situation and she refused. This place ruined my life and left me with no way to support my child and no nursing career after I already had a job waiting for me on the surgical trauma floor at Richland. After everything I lived through and survived. I am still traumatized. This place will ruin your life. DO NOT ATTEND THIS COLLEGE! Edit: In addition to my previous post this school is taking it a step further and denying me the right to participate in graduation after everything I have been through due to me being locked out of my MTC email (PS who only sends email info on a school email? nothing in the mail?) and was unable to receive the notification in time and they are now refusing my participation in graduation. I am in the Computer Technology program and am supposed to be completing my last semester, however we are at midterm and I am now finding out I have 1 more class to take . This is particularly infuriating because not only did my advisor tell me how many courses i needed to take to graduate, but Financial aid department told me that the aid for the semester was awarded based on how many credit hours i needed to graduate (I am taking the classes that I was told and showed I needed). Overall, in my 2 years as a student, my opinion has always been that's it is very much a subpar school-regarding the staff as well as education quality. My first semester (my education foundation) I had 2 that didn’t care and literally booted you out of the classroom before class was over as they had other things to do. The computer advisors are extremely ill prepared to help anyone. They continuously have no idea what each class will teach you, do not know which classes you should take for any career path, and are usually new personnel each semester. I, like many other students here, have a family outside of school and do not have the means to be a student and unemployed for another semester. Also, they don't have ANY tutors for the computer department! This makes things VERY difficult. The teachers do what they can in their office hours, and I can name 3 or 4 that are worth calling a teacher/professor and actually care about the subject and students. They claim to help you find a job after, and boast they have company’s asking them for their graduates… however this is not easily accessed, nor are there plentiful opportunities once graduated. The level of education and subjects taught seem not to be in line at all with what is desired by companies.srnclb

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible experiences! I have attended multiple semesters here and each one is more of a dumpster fire than the last. I have never had such difficulty with anything in my life or dealt with such rude, spiteful, or plan MEAN faculty members. I have been told countless times to quit my job and focus only on school, please tell me how being the sole provider for my family that would work? Followed by the staffs refusal to talk with me about options when I refuse to quit my job and have to look for odd times to attend classes. My mother has lived at the Cascades in an independent living villa for almost two years and she loves it! When we started to evaluate her options for continuing care retirement communities, we knew she would be quickly uninterested in the dated decor, boring bingo game nights and a tasteless cafeteria menu most places had to offer. From our first tour of the campus with Mary Elyse and Stephanie, we both realized the Cascades is a special place where residents and team members know one another by name and foster an upscale and friendly community environment. Since COVID-19 began, the team at Cascades has done an amazing job at timely communicating valuable information to residents and their families and instituting health safety protocols to protect staff visitors, and residents, all while continuing to provide dining services from a full restaurant menu, fun events, outdoor activities and cultural enrichment programs within the Cascades that conform to the new public safety guidelines. Mom and the other residents trust the guidance of Cory as executive director and have so much fun with the Ed the social director. Mom has made so many friends there, both residents and team members and I can relax knowing she is so well looked out for by everyone there! Scott from dining services is so friendly and helps her keep her pantry stocked with essentials from the Cascades Market so she can avoid unnecessary trips to the grocery store (even though Target is just right outside the back gate for easy access if she needed it!) Marian at the front desk is always smiling and helped Mom feel right at home when she moved in and continues to be a friend. Mackenzie in the dining room and Sharon in housekeeping are also two of Mom’s fave Cascades ladies and their help is always so appreciated! All in all, the Cascades is a fun place to visit and according to Mom a fun place to live. She likens it to living in a cruise ship with no shortage of things to do! On a serious note, they are taking care to institute mandated and recommended COVID-19 safety protocols and making sure residents and team members are protected while also socially engaged and they are balancing it all very well. After moving from my large family home to living in a condo for many years, I realized that I now needed a home that could give me assistance when needed, security and remove concern about their mother from my family. I wanted to live as independently as feasible in a comfortable, friendly environment with a variety of activities for entertainment and self-improvement. After a few visits to Cascades-Verdae Greenville, SC, I knew there was such a place. My lovely apartment immediately felt like home, especially with my own furnishings. From my windows, I look out on a park-like setting with big trees, flowers, shrubs, fountains, walking path and benches for resting and visiting. Residents quickly became my friends and shared seats at the table for delicious meals, movies, programs, excursions, wellness activities, special events celebrations, clubs of interest and much more. Believe me, it is all there for you to enjoy, ask for assistance and feel a sense of family. Staff members are caring, fulfill your needs, enjoy their profession and most of all, want residents to be well and happy. I became a resident of Cascades-Verdae in March 2022. I have lived at the Cascades for almost two years now—-and it is a wonderful place to live!! I visited many retirement communities in several states before deciding to move here. The Cascades fit my needs more than any other!! (And, one of the most wonderful things that has happened to me here is that I met a most wonderful gentleman and we were married in July!!!!!) The members are all unique in their backgrounds and accomplishments which tends to lend itself to the atmosphere for which I was looking!! The staff is great-especially Jenny Joyce!! She is definitely one of the most competent, caring individuals that I have ever known and the Cascades management and residents are blessed to have her!! Cascades is truly lovely!! The grounds are impeccably kept, the villas are spacious and the cottages are large and beautiful. However, after 10 plus years, the carpet in all the villa public areas are in need of replacement—which I'm sure will be happening very soon since this is a premier community and I'm sure corporate would not want to lose that status!!JoAnn Bauer

Both of my parents were at Rolling Green. My father had a hip replacement, twice because the staff allowed his wound to become infected. During covalence, they were so rough with him he had bruises. They were severely understaffed, both before and during the pandemic. We had to remove our mother and bring her home (at considerable cost) because she wasn’t being given her meds or food during the pandemic. The staff was pleasant but COVID kept ragging through the facility because they refused to wear masks. Overall we found this facility a great disappointment designed to exploit the needs of elder care and deliver profits to their investors.b dahl

I hate to post this but today is the last straw. My mother moved to Rolling Green 20 years ago. It was a lovely place to live until new construction began. Zero consideration for the homeowners close to the construction site. She has been subjected to construction noise now for 2 years. It starts at 6:00 AM daily – even on the weekends. The house yesterday and today – literally shaking from the core. The constant noise will drive you crazy and the red dust is a permanent fixture on the house. She honestly has NO peace until the evening hours. This was definitely not how she envisioned living out her twilight years.Gina Fratturo

I have been a resident of Rolling Green Village for 17 years. I have always found the staff to be attentive to resident needs and concerned with resident welfare. The food is excellent and there are many activities in which to get involved, across the gamut from exercise classes to trips to movies. The recent expansion has been a challenge (all construction is messy and noisy) but efforts were made to inconvenience current residents as little as possible. I would recommend and have recommended RGV as an excellent place to retire.Lynn Woodman

BEWARE. AREA IS NOT SAFE. There needs to be security patrols or policemen in the area. I was taking my ASVAB test there around 3 pm. I come back to my car only to find out my catalytic converter had been stolen in the parking area in broad daylight. I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one that had to deal with theft on that day. BEWARE. AREA IS NOT SAFE. There needs to be security patrols or policemen in the area. I was taking my ASVAB test there around 3 pm. I come back to my car only to find out my catalytic converter had been stolen in the parking area in broad daylight. I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one that had to deal with theft on that day. Although Emory Nursing school is rated as one of top nursing schools, they have failed to serve students to successfully complete their study. They are constantly changing curriculums for MN and MSN, which has been confusing many students. Emory also does not have an advisor for nursing students. Their program director serves as an advisor, which she tries hard but it's hard for her as she has other duties. Also, Emory nursing does not support any international students. They were told by Emory that they couldn't finish their programs although they had been admitted and started program already. I have heard from a few students struggling to talk to school to figure out the way to continue their education, but they have not been getting any support at all. Apparently, Emory MSN nursing cannot have international students but they're still accepting applications.H H

I have mixed feelings about this school after attending there for the past year. The building is super nice and modern, and my teachers were all wonderful. Unfortunately, a bunch of the office workers are slack. Honestly, half of them don't do anything. Many of them were unprofessional. I was not impressed with the way the school was ran but the teachers were friendly and willing to help. I was able to save money on my first year before transferring.Leah Winningham

OMG!! I had to work and did not have time to change. From the moment I got there, I was greeted. Daren Witt, is AMAZING!!! It was worth the hour drive. I need a small setting that offers help my son needs.I had such a great visit and felt, like I was floating on a cloud. Great university! The small class sizes and amazing professors help you to be successful. It is a great place to start if you plan on going to U of SC Columbia because all the classes will transfer and it is much cheaper than the main campus. It is a beautiful campus and a great community feel among the students and the faculty! I highly recommend this university!Steven Phillips

There visiting the farmers market on Fridays. Sure you have local produce, but there is also local artist who create one of a kind art work. One of my favorites booths is History Diggers. The man researches old 1800’s newspapers and reprints them into readable books. The lady digs in old dirt and finds relics and remakes them into beautiful jewelry.Amy Vaughn

What an amazing campus. First opened as a military college, then became available to civilians, women and fully integrated in 1963. After graduating with my doctorate in Environmental Toxicology in 1996 I have never returned until 2020. Although the city has changed drastically, the campus' beauty and attention to the most current curricula still remains. They have a beautiful new Business School and the campus life can't be beat. Add to it to beauty of the nearby mountains and lakes, 90 mins to Atlanta and overall excellence in education you cannot go wrong.Bill Henriques

Up to Clemson for the day to visit with our Uncle who just turned 104 years in July. He's doing great, and we had a great visit. One of the most amazing men, and human being I've had the privilege to know and love. We'll be back as soon as we can. He retired many years ago as a Professor at Clemson.Greg Veal

As a parent of a student attending Claflin University I hate the day I ever agreed to her attending this HBCU. For the fees and lies these ppl tell, it is not even in a safe place. Shooting happens around the school more often than I care to mention and the officers handle it in an extremely irresponsible/ UNPROFESSIONAL way by urging caution (notice I say shootings) not canceling classes until further notice. Maybe bc it's a HBCU I'm not sure but I'm certain of this she will not attend anymore after this semester. I would not recommend this University to anyone it stinks and they have a horrible bed bug infestation. Babies please choose a safe University to attend so neither you or your parents have to worry we send you off to get an education not to get shot. In the meantime I pray for everyone's safety at Claflin University.Johnathan Greer

Student move in day was as organized as could be. The students had to go through rapid COVID testing prior to moving in on campus. Once cleared the process began. Parking was a little challenging. But it was as good as it could be. We needed handicap parking and security was able to assist is with that and it made things more manageable for us.Christine Middleton

Claflin… I remember it as if it was just yesterday when I matriculated from the University. College days swiftly pass! Great school but unfortunately the city is not the most College integrated. You will definitely get out of it what you put in both educationally and socially. It can definitely be a great stepping stone to a brighter future.Robert Bryant

NGU Exposed- From an Alumni NGU offers a lot to students that may have little to no spiritual background. They are known for leading people to Christ, and helping them to grow. If you were to ask me if I would donate money to NGU? The answer would be no. The stewardship of the money they have received in the past is highly questionable. The former president has been rumored to be in trouble for embezzlement. If you were to ask me if I trusted the faculty and staff at NGU with my children? the answer would be mostly yes, but I would proceed with caution. The Student Services staff hovers over students and looks for opportunities to have them kicked out so they can still keep the money for the student being at the school while still collecting the financial revenue of the student being enrolled. Multiple staff members have been fired in the previous two years due to infidelities (including speculation that this is why the president resigned). One of the Faculty was a counselor on campus and was sleeping with the student that they were counseling. With all this, the professors are incredible. They care about the students, and setting them up for succes. not so much for the staff. Does Christ really make the difference at NGU? No. It doesn't. It's a nice front, but in reality, the staff (not faculty) is inflated with this idea of spiritual pride that leaves students more turned off to Christianity than rather leading them to God. I would not send my child to NGU if I had a say so in it. NGU served a purpose, but unless you are studying a Christian Studies degree, it's not the place to be.Invisible Crusader

The initial impression is that North Greenville is a friendly campus. The lasting impression is that North Greenville is a friendly campus. In no other environment have I experienced such kind, sacrificial service. Faculty and staff put others before them. The academic life is not meritorious of highest prestige, but it is better than the average university. The smaller classes allow students to have discussions and actually learn something rather than fall victim to academic bulimia. The student life is not the most exciting, but the purpose of college is not to party. There are rules that can seem overbearing, but are protective. If students were allowed in girls' dorms, I would have never attended class. Overall, I loved my time spent at NGU and the school is very deserving of a 4 star rating.Ryan Woodring

The friendly faculty and staff are great. Dr Epting is a president who really does care for his students. He remembers what's happening in your life and is always more than happy to give you a hug (my type of guy). The education was great, not quite excellent. The Youth Ministry program needed a little help on fair grading (some of us were well more prepared for speeches and assignments and would receive the same grades as though who were definitely not). But the overall education was great. The English department was intense (the couple classes I had to take). The campus is beautiful with a great view. Didn't stay on campus, was too far out of the way, easier to drive when I had class. Would highly recommend it to those looking for a great education at a great price.Tory J Almond

This college is visible from the main highway and the front desk staff is helpful when your unsure about how to get around the school. However, if your children are are in dual enrollment please be sure to ask about cost even if you qualify for the lottery. I was never given any break down of this information and has me disappointed in this facility. I will recommend but be careful and ask plenty of questions because you may not got all the information that is most important. (Cost). The facility should also return phone calls when messages are left on your voicemails.SunShine Johnston

I recently had Ms. Watson for BIO 112-03 in Fall 2021. She was NOT the nicest instructor I had. Both Watson and Indrihovic are two of the rudest instructors I ever had.Madison Astralla

Beautiful campus grounds for those who want a scenic hike, attached to the Swamp Rabbit Trail. Great for taking scenic pictures, walking the dog, or admiring the Georgian architecture. Public restroom available, multiple trails, a lake, streams, a bell tower, fountains, etc… will be back to explore further for sure!Christina

Not a student, but we went for a very enjoyable walk around campus with our dogs. The campus, especially the lake, the koi ponds, and rose garden, is very pretty and we enjoyed how there was parking near Swan Lake. Worth the visit around nice to see a private university readily open to the public.Christos Kazameas
