20 Best 2 Year Nursing Programs In Fresno, CA (2022 Updated)

I've been attending FCC since summer of 2016 and will graduate, god willing, this spring 2019. Full time, year round, no breaks. Although parking requires at least an hour grace period, I believe the over all experience is what you make it. I've come across rude people maybe having a bad day and I've had instructors I could not relate to. Its all very frustrating. Its sad to say the success rate at this college is 17%. But, then again this is an adult school. Nobodies going to call your house when your absent or hold a parent-teacher conference when your not doing your work. I am working on a Human Service degree and have enjoyed the ups and downs of my classes. The load was a little heavier in a few and I had to buckle down and utilize the tutorial, ETC, PASS, Computer lab and all other resources available. In all the those places I found the staff and student help extremely eager to be of service. The assistance was much appreciated. Honestly, I don't think I could of got through math without it!Philip Tristan

I am not speaking for this business itself, merely the college district's education quality. I have taken classes at Fresno, Clovis, and Reedley Community College, and I have had an absolutely deplorable time. I don't feel like I'm getting anything from the classes; I don't feel the staff is prepared to teach online, if at all. If you are going to teach college-level English, you should not make punctuation and grammatical errors consistently. If you are teaching a law class, you should not do it from inherent bias and perspective. If you are conducting an online course, you should not have to hold up a piece of paper because you don't know how to make a slide. An absolute and utter waste of my time and money, I am so glad I got the nerve to go back to school; now I will find somewhere to teach me, educate me, and get me further in life.Mercedes Scott

Good college for students to get their AA degrees and this college has cheap tuition. Professors and management are also good and you can also transfer to a university after 2 years. It is said that Fresno City College is the first Community College in California. Registration to classes is simple and online, and they offer all kind of classes. My Business Administration Management class was amazing, I learned so much and I am carrying it with everywhere I go. Some people do not like it and so do. My instructor was so brilliant and I am so proud and thankful for him. With his support and all of SJVC workers, instructors, and all around everyone, I was able to get threw this pandemic we are still having and graduate with a 4.0 and being on the deans list. I am thankful for you all. Anyone who wants to go to college for Business or just in general, go to SJVC. They got you covered and they support your every step and decision. They help you become ready for excellency and, help you find a job that you will love and if that job doesn't work out for you they will go over and above to help you succeed and find a position you want and love. I'm in the midst of the program and just love it!! The teachers and staff are fantastic and it feels like they have become my extended family. They care and want you to succeed. If anyone is looking into the medical assistant field please do yourself a favor and look at the pay rate and how much it costs to attend this horrible program. Program costs about 30k and MA barely make that yearly, you can go to a community college for about the same time and get paid to go. I cannot wait for SJVC to get sued for taking advantage of vulnerable people, giving false promises to students of a career in medical assistant, you will not be able to live on that type of low income. You have a better opportunity making more money at Target, most of my credits did not transfer even though I was told they would so I wasted my time. I had to retake most of my classes which I did in about the same time as I was at sjvc and will be applying to the nursing program. This is a horrible schoolJammy Jam

An amazing institution Went here as a student from Feb 2019 until graduation Oct 2019. I was enrolled in the front office medical admin program. 7 months and upon graduation, I passed and got nationally certified for billing/coding. My teacher Ms.Hernandez was amazing, caring and knowledgeable. The school and its staff went above and beyond for me (I was unemployed at the time) and now I am employed and have actual hope for my future. It taught me a variety of skills that applied in many jobs for medical assistants. The bad? It won't teach you everything. It won't get you a Masters Degree and a six figure job. But that's not the point of this trade School. It's a start, a path to better prospects. It's made good on that so far =)Vince M

I had previously been accepted to a university, having experience payment issues (that school was wicked expensive) I found SJVC, they help me make a smooth transition from the other school to there and my time there was amazing. Meeting different people from different programs and other people who just didn't want the traditional school experience. I went for my certificate MOA program (took 7 months of class time and 2 months of externship time). Loved my teacher and classmates and learning was easy and I understood all the lessons. I even got on the dean's list after getting my certificate. My career counselor even helped me find my full time job. Well i started this school last year in January and just finish and got my Liscenes. Ues there are thing that could be better at this school. But is there any school thats perfect? No. It really all depends on you. You get out what you put in. Have a bad attitude youll have a bad time. If you came to this school for the right reasons youll do fine. But only if you stick to your guns. One thing i can say is the instructors here really do care for your future. Things are changing as they always do in life. I recently graduated from the Electrical Technology program. Overall I feel satisfied with the program. The teachers are top notch industry guys and they really want you to succeed and will bend over backwards to help you understand the material. Unfortunately I went through 90% of the program during the corona virus shutdown and it made it difficult to do without the constant hands on part. So I had to make sure during the open labs I got as much put of it as I could. Which still taught me a lot more then I expected. I was satisfied even through the program being shut down. The HVAC program is a complete waste of time and money. I did 4 modules, and two of those made me regret attending SJVC. The school lost a very knowledgeable teacher and out of desperation hired a teacher that had no teaching experience. The Dean doesn't care about her students, I had multiple conversations with her about the program that lead nowhere. The school doesn't have teachers that can teach, my advice is to look for another school like I am.Jesus Vigil

The SJVC-online BSRT program is very user friendly when it comes to ones computer skills. There are some minor glitches here and there when it comes to assignment communication. I am very happy with my decision in choosing SJVC to obtain my Bachelor’s degree. I enrolled in the MBC certificate program in April of 2021 after loosing my job. I have my degree in medical billing but was doing retail. I was worried about doing straight online school, however the instructors and the adviser Ernie were and are amazing at what they do! The staff of this school is pretty good with communication, especially the Dean. Whenever i had a problem he was fast to solve the issue. The experience was great. I did have to find my own extern site, but my career advisor was really supportive and helpful. I wanted to attend the Nursing program but no one has responded so I will probably not do it here. IOT might be a great school but as for the nursing program that was one of the worst experiences of my life. I usually dont review places or make a fuss about things but in this case I feel obligated to warn people about this program and the people who run it. My name is Luis Alberto Salazar and for personal reasons I go by my middle name, for one whole year that I was enrolled at IOT I would ask Dr. Bar to call me by my middle name, every time she would refuse. This constant battle I had with her made me very uncomfortable to the point where it felt like harassment. She would belittle me and compare me to her child constantly. I felt humiliated in front of the class in multiple occasions. I cant stress enough how important ones name is to their identity. That is something that she does not understand, if you are someone who does not go by their birth name or if you are trans and you have changed your name, please consider another nursing program.Alberto Salazar

I started my journey at IOT in September of 2019 and I just recently finished school with them in June 2020. I loved my time at IOT. I took night classes which were taught by Mrs. D. Mrs. D is the best teacher I could’ve asked for. She taught us from the book but also shared her experiences in the medical field as well. I appreciated that because I was able to apply that to when I started working in the medical field as well. Overall, I think this is the best vocational school you can go to because the staff really cares to help you, and they offer different class hours to help with our busy schedules. I would just like to say that Institute of Technology was an awesome experience. The Staff was very supportive and understanding. The Heating and Refrigeration training had some awesome teachers that made sure that the students understood the lectures and study materials. Institute of technology also had a nice resource room and a Computer Room to do all my projects and homework. The best part about my experience was that Institute of Technology connected me with a job a month before I was officially done with my training. This school only cares about the money you pay them. I remember the director contacting me so many times in a week to pay my past due. I was still waiting for my VA benefits to kick in. Then I was told if I don’t pay by this date, I will be removed from the program. So I applied for a loan to pay off my past due. After that I was never harassed again. I expected a lot from this school. From great didactic instructors to clinical instructors. But that did not happened. I only had one good didactic instructor. My clinical instructor was lazy and always complaining. The leadership did not care about you. Just their well being as a school. Your grades don’t matter. Also they did not care if you are a military veteran. There were times that I had to clock in using my phone which is not allowed, but my clinical instructor was always late so I couldn’t clock in using a computer. I was removed from the MRI program because I was DISHONEST. Instead of helping you to improve, they just remove you from the program because they got what they needed from you. MONEY! No kind of remediation whatsoever. Just after your MONEY. You’re better off with Unitek where they care about their students emotionally, spiritually, and personally. Being a nurse is way better than being an MRI tech.👎Ervan Valdez

I applied to the Gurnick Academy ultrasound technology program ( San Mateo campus ), At first I was getting constant email reminders to complete documents before the deadline date . After I completed everything I had an panel interview set up , the interview went well overall but I was asked a certain question that I didn’t completely understand and when I hesitated ( and felt nervous ) the interviewer rudely responded with frustration at my delayed response . At the end of the interview they informed me that I would receive a response within 3 weeks. Within a few days I received an email demanding that I complete a financial aid form within that day “ just in case” I get into the program even though I hadn’t received an acceptance letter. Well.. 3 weeks passed and I sent a follow up email kindly thanking everyone that attended the interview for there time and consideration . I didn’t get a single reply back from that email , a month after the interview day they emailed me informing that I didn’t get in and should try applying next year . The negative reviews I read after the fact are correct , it seemed like they were only after money .Amani Abdaw

I am a rehabilitation patient at the Heritage Crossing Care Center. My reason for being here is because I acquired stage 3 West Nile virus. If your loved one is in need of a care facility I would highly recommend this facility for the following reasons. The care received. The accommodations. The care I receive is outstanding. At this facility they don't hire ‘employees;’ they hire what I characterize as ‘owners.’ That is, they hire team members who treat me like their uncle, their brother, their father, their grandfather. In other words, they treat me like ‘family.’ They get to know me, my little nuances, my specific needs and wants. A little bit about leadership and the owner of this facility. It has been said, “Everything rises and falls on leadership.” – John C Maxwell “Leadership is not so much practiced in words as in attitude and in actions.” – Harold S Geneen The Apostle John said in 1st John 3:18 (NAS), ‘…let us not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and truth.’ Let me give you an example of this. Recently, the main hallway flooring was replaced. Prior to applying the adhesive glue and new flooring to the prepped cement foundation, all of the patients needed to be moved to the ‘Great’ room. Several hours later the flooring was completed and the patients were ready to be returned to their respective rooms. From my wheelchair, I observed the owner assisting the team members in returning ‘all of the patients’ to their rooms. No one asked for his assistance. This was ‘leadership in action.’ If I, as a patient, noticed this display of leadership, this display of concern, then the team members also recognized it. It set an example for the team members. This was a sincere expression of his love for the patients. Concerning the accommodations, this facility is immaculate. It is cleaned thoroughly every day. Many of my visitors have commented on its cleanliness. Additionally, you have your own private room. There is no curtain separating you from the patient next door. You can close your door and have a private conversation with your spouse or family member. There are activities during the week: A musician comes in, there are games, painting, etc. Based on my own personal care, received at this facility, without reservation I highly recommend you consider it for your potential needs. First I would like to say that there are not enough stars to thank all the staff of The Heritage Crossing Care Center for their compassion expertise and for all that they represent. My son had been diagnosed with glioblastoma in 2017and spindle cell sarcoma stage 4 in 2021 In August of 2021 my son was placed on hospice. I had the pleasure of meeting the staff at The Heritage Crossing Care Center and trust me when I tell you that google doesn't have enough space for all that I have to say about this place. These God sent people take care of people that god himself is calling home and they are cared for in a very special way. The facility is so clean and immaculate. They treat you like family. They made it possible for me to be with my son and just be mom while they handled the rest. The best way for me to describe this beautiful place is like a little piece of heaven here on earth. I can never thank them enough for ALL that they did to make my sons journey home comfortable. He nor I lacked anything while we were there. I know that they are called heroes but I would rather call them Angels because they do what not all people can. After my son passed they were there for support and I cant tell you how much my family and I needed it. Now this is for you Sandra, Thank you for sharing your heart of gold. 100 stars isn't enough to express the amazing work by the tireless staff at Heritage Crossing. I have worked in a professional capacity with the facility since it opened. Staff is extremely caring over the phone and easy to work with. In person, they are exemplary! Recently, my family was faced with the hard decision regarding hospice. It was without hesitation that I suggested Heritage Crossing to my family. They were in full support and within hours my grandfather was transferred. There is no other place I would have wanted my grandfather to spend the rest of his days. He was loved on, catered to, and cared for with extreme gentleness and dignity. The nursing staff responded to his needs as quickly as I did. Before I knew it, his medications were being adjusted, he had been given a bath, and his sheets were changed! A couple of nurses referred to him as "papa," which I found endearing. The facility itself is state of the art — from decor to the chapel and food. The mood in the building is very tranquil and peaceful. It felt like "home." I could go on and on about all of the incredible details of the building but what's even more important is what goes on inside its walls. From the moment I walked in I felt acknowledged and recognized as a loved one going through a hard time. The "hello's" and "let me know if you need anything" sure went a long way. I will be forever grateful for the incredible care and support my grandfather and our entire family received at Heritage Crossing. I am currently enrolled in the EMT program at National University, Fresno. I am thoroughly enjoying it. The instructors are very knowledgeable in the field, have tons of field experience, and are competent to teach. The only reason I didn't rate it fulls stars, is because this is the first time these instructors have not worked together. They are not all on the same page. and I feel like they could prepare a little more for their lectures. This however will improve(they have already improved) as this Fresno program continues. EMT program is amazing. It is organized, comprehensive, straight-forward, challenging, fun, and some. Coming in as a Registered Nurse, I was able to listen to other view points and learn different techniques. I feel is very valuable. The information taught was explained clearly and thoroughly, and time was taken for others until understood. We all learned as a team and grew together as a class. As a former graduate of NU Fresno Campus (2002) BS IT, I decided to attend an orientation for the EMT Program based on a notification. I was considering a career change and I definitely do not regret committing to this program. The instructors are all seasoned Paramedic Professionals and there is a lot of attention to hands on skills based learning. I will be going on my first ride along to experience an actual shift of EMT work. Look no further, this is absolutely the best CNA program in Fresno for a multitude of reasons. The instructor, Ms.Jodie is hands down absolutely amazing. Not only does she do an amazing job at teaching you everything you need to know as a CNA, but goes above and beyond to ensure that you will pass the state exam. Which everyone in my class DID. It was almost TOO EASY to pass after everything she prepared us for. She genuinely cares for her students and it shows. I never felt embarrassed or judged when asking for more assistance on a particular skill, she always made us feel comfortable to share our concerns. She also was kind enough to write me a raving letter of recommendation to which I accredit my admission to my number one hospital job. I LOVE THIS PROGRAM BECAUSE OF HER!Josie Paniagua

Took this program almost a year ago and it was the best decision I've made in my medical career so far! Ms. Jodie was my instructor and she was AMAZING to say the least. She is tough and firm, but very fair! It is a lot of work, but it will prepare you for the skills needed in the future if you want to proceed with an education in nursing. I passed my state boards on the first try and have been working at Kaweah Health Hospital in ICCU/ICU and I would not be prepared to give the excellent care I provide if it wasn't for Ms. Jodie's training. Decided not to complete my MA program. This school was terrible to communicate with from the very beginning. No one gets back to you in a timely manner unless you are making them lose money. They don’t go over all the information you should know before you start the program. I was unsure of my conpletion or graduation date, after reaching out to multiple people I was finally contacted to be told I start externs the week after. I assumed all my hours would be completed after I finish my classes, they failed to communicate I would need to quit my job to do a full time externship, which is a very poorly planned out experience. Im not blaming the school for my bad experiences at externs since you go to an actual office, but they definitely do not prepare you for the aggressive field you are walking into. I finished my classes with a 3.9 GPA and aced my certification test first round, but lack of practice and structure in the classroom made me feel like a failure in the actual field of work. Im not saying don't go to this school, just be weary of what you’re walking into. As stated before I was an excellent student and had no issues with my class work but the communication on the schools end makes it impossible to complete.Miranda Loke

The electrician program teaches you a lot of theory and nothing on sorely needed experience. It would make for a great electrical engineering education, but unless you worked as an apprentice already, this is not how to start your career as an electrician. I will admit the skills I acquired and learned are valuable for engineers. I'm hoping one day they train engineers with what they teach. EDIT: I do wish they didn't tell me an electronics technician and an electrician are essentially the same job because they really aren't. I never got hired as one several months after graduating here. Because of this expectation I still regret going and wasting my money that could've went to the job I intended to learn about. A few years later since graduating and I still feel like I got scammed. If they were honest in the first place I wouldn't have lowered my rating.Aslon Christy

SIVC helped me fulfill my dreams. I entered the Construction Managment program 14 months ago. I learned so much information about the construction industry. For the classes tha gave me struggle my counselor assisted me with a counselor. I attended in class and online. I loved both. The teachers are knowledgeable in their field. They make themselves available for questions and advice. The program was hard for me. I studied every waking moment. You get out what you put in. I never thought I would be graduating at this stage of my life from a accelerated CM program. I now have a internship with the company of my dreams. I’m a graduating student of LVN, i highly recommend Gurnick academy, i had the best experience in didactic classes and clinical with Sir Norman, he, I must say is the best clinical instructor. He provided us a high quality education, He showed us professionalism, his strong work of ethics inspires me to be like him in the future, he doesn't tolerate negative attitude, but he is very considerate to students. You can see the passion and he really wants his students to learn and develop for the better. He pushed beyond what we think is our limits, he developed our critical thinking, he taught us to think outside the box and at the same time encouraged us, he is very knowledgeable, you can ask him any question about any disease process, pharmacology, psych, skills etc. and he can answer all of it and able to explain in a cellular level. For the past years of enggaging myself into this education, I have observed that Sir Norman is the type of person that never let his students down. I've also learned that studying is a process not just to shake everything inside you but to also bring out the best in you and that is what I've obtained from sir Norman. It is a great school to learn! They will not let you down and will help you if you are having a hard time in certain class. I had maximize my clinical time because of Mr. Norman Elizaga, he is very professional and knowledgeable, he taught us a lot of things in nursing that i did not experience with any other instructor. He will challenge you until you become a competitive student. At first i was having a hard time with some of my classes until i was put in his clinical group and got my mind set up in concept mapping, that way my classes went easier and became understandable. I then started getting As in my didactics. He changed how my thinking process works as well as my critical thinking in nursing. He is very professional dealing with students. I attend Concord campus and they have decided, at the end of our program, to change to graduation we are having. The previous classes have had a graduation with the program they are a part of. We have been told they are going to make us wait for months and graduate with the entire college. We worked hard to become nurses and to have to sacrifice all we have worked for to have a mediocre impersonal graduation that we are paying for as part of our tuition is unethical. We have sent numerous e-mails in the past 3 weeks (6/21/22) to Jason Frank and Joe K. with no response. They will not acknowledge us, not even in the hallways. We are done in 3 months. To not know what is going on with a celebration we worked so hard to achieve is very unsettling and I do not feel valued as a student here. During all of the bad of 2020, including getting laid off, I have to say that being hired at the Terraces at San Joaquin Gardens has been the best career move of my life! Having spent my career in restaurants, I was excited to entire a new segment of dining service but I could not have predicted what this wonderful place would have on my life. From the very beginning, the team at TSJG made me feel accepted, despite never have worked at a senior facility. They made me feel comfortable and answered all of the questions I had. The entire director team made me feel at home as soon as I arrived, which allowed me to come out of my shell much quicker than normal. Our residents are second to none and also welcomed me with open arms and masked faces! This truly is a family environment. Every day I GET to come to work. Yes, I look forward to Fridays and the weekend with my family but on Sundays, I am looking forward to coming back to work. That has never been the case! I am disappointed at the care of my mother! She had a bowel movement, and needed to be changed and cleaned up! The nurse came in to give medication to my mom. Mom stated” I am soiled”, please cleaned me up before I can sit down. The nurse says “ sit down to take the medication”! And mother repeated “ I have to be cleaned up first”! The nurse walked out. No medication, and no one to clean her up! The therapist came in do her therapy…..” bless her heart, the therapist had clean my mother up”. It’s not the job for therapist job do that! My mother received therapy, but didn’t receive the medication! This is only one incident that occurred that’s left me concerned about other patients, especially my mother! I do not recommend this for anybody!Trig Maria

My wife entered the SJG Health Care area after a fall shattering her knee cap and subsequent surgery. She was under their care for 45 days. I cannot begin to express my gratitude for the care and therapy she received from everyone daily. Her room and bathroom were kept spotless, her meds were served on schedule and her meal choices were very good. The administration, nurses, nurse assistants and therapists were very friendly and professional. We have told so many friends that we recommend San Joaquin Gardens if they ever find themselves in need of excellent care or an outstanding senior residence.Kenneth Matson

I have never felt more uncomfortable and attacked when talking to someone. I considered not writing this because I don't like labeling people based on a first impression, but this was over the top. I talked to a counselor today and wanted guidance on what classes to take the upcoming semester, she was very rude from the beginning. She seemed angry at me for having attended a UC before attending here. She attacked my choice of classes which is understandable since I was trying to chose my next classes and some were not transferable. She kept repeating that I need to fill out a form that I never received, that I couldn't take alot of classes due to this. I asked if she could send it so I could fill it out and I could chose classes but she hung up on me. I understand that times are stressful right now but a counselor should not be putting down a student in any way. She also was angry that I was late to a previous counseling appointment, but the appointment was over the phone and I was told I was going to get a phone call. I was ready at the time I was told that it was going to be. If it was my responsibility to call I would have but I was told that they would call me. Labeling me as "extremely late" is unfair. No one should be talked to like this but coming from a counselor is terrible. They should only hire people who care about the student's well-being not those who almost make it a goal to put you down. It was very uncomfortable to be yelled at through the phone for just seeking guidance. These people need to understand that this is their job so they will know more than students especially first generation students.User 1234

My journey on this campus started with general education during the last two years of high school. Through another educational institution, I was able to get an early start here. College of the Sequoias is a wonderful stepping stone for those looking to seek an affordable education in obtaining specific skill sets. For me, I ventured into agricultural technology alongside culinary and nutrition. The staff are exceptional in their own ways and many of them are there to see you succeed, willing to assist in any way possible. The curriculum delivers a handful of knowledge necessary to move forward and the graduation patterns are easy to understand when it comes time to planning the next two years of attendance in advance. Financial aid is easy to establish provided a few documents to prove your state of need. Overall this is a really splendid place to learn something new! An abundance of resources are available to most attending students such as nurse visits, library, bus pass, and more!James

Pretty pathetic how they will give you a $46 citation when you have shown them proof of purchase of a permit and have submitted it when appealing it to them only for them to still enforce the violation because I didn’t have proof of it in my windshield. When you buy a permit it didn’t give me an option for a temporary pass or something to print out. On top of that the booths where you are supposed to buy a ticket are out of service or haven’t been fixed in a while. Glad I’m towards the end of finishing my program here this school has been a joke. I guess it’s what happens when a school is money hungry. They need better coordination with having classes open on time as well my history class is always waiting outside in the hall 10-15 min and then they send a cop to open it taking their time.Juan Alcazar

Both my younger two children attend Reedley. It is an amazing school. Love how they have dorms for the students. My eldest said she would have gone to college if she had known of Reedley. Amazing diversity of courses and degrees. My younger daughter is in the Agriculture department. They have a herdsman’s house for the kids that are responsible for the livestock. The middle college is such a fantastic idea. I would have to say they get a 10 out of a 0Gina Montes

It's a community college. A place to learn and grow temporarily – and it succeeds in this role. I've met a lot of kind, interesting, and encouraging professors through my classes here. Reedley college is a very nice place to be, I would recommend the Aviation Maintenance Tech program for anyone planning to go into the aviation field ,Instructor Asman is very detailed and a great teacher,I was very lucky that I got the chance to meet Mr.Schales ,a very wise individual that really wants the best for the students by motivating and inspire our mindsets .Pengg Vang

Got my associates here using my GI Bill after my time in the Army. If there was one thing that stood out to me about Sierra College was the Veterans Success Center. Everyone there was always helpful during my time as a student and aided in me being successful in my classes. Overall time at Sierra College was positive and have no negative things to say about it.Ryan Abulencia

I enjoyed my time here at Sierra. I heard of bad professors, but I never had any. My professors were awesome and helpful. My DSPS counselor Scott was amazing. The resource and tutor center was the key to my success. They helped me though all my struggles. Though a great junior college, I'm glad I'm done here and moved on to Sac State.Blake Westman

School staff is very nice but school is extremely unorganized. Everytime I called for assistance about admissions or registration I was given contradictory information. After finally being able to register for classes we were then given a wrong list of books to purchase for the classes (this happened 2 semesters in a row). All we got was an apology and given the correct book list to purchase the correct books.When I tried to book appointment my "advisor" was out on leave for 3 weeks. Hopefully they will get it together soon. Their mistakes kept costing me time and money and the only thing I got was an an apology but never a resolution.AMZN SEA

I got my undergrad here and to sugar coat it, I was not pleased at my experience here. There are always pros and cons to any university and this university was just not a good fit for me. There is a lot of disorganization and some internal conflicts. Just make sure you check out every opportunity and ask good questions before you make a big commitment. FPU does have some great professors. The business professors and bib.lit professors are nice and very personable! It was beneficial having my professors know me by name and to be able to have conversations with them outside of class.Kellie Borges

In the process of getting my undergraduate degree and this school has easy parking, teachers that are accessible, friendly people on campus, an area for commuters to rest/lounge, and fun community events. It provides a slower paced experience, positive atmosphere, and strengthens your religious beliefs as well as challenging them. I was impressed by how much I learned in non religious aspects as my field is psychology and I feel confident graduating here knowing I got the best college experience.Sar Nez

I came to this school and it is constantly changing. Especially with the pandemic slowly bringing things back. They are remodeling plenty and the campus is beautiful and very spread out. You can enjoy the little critters and plenty of flowers and trees to stare at. This school has plenty of history and beautiful views. I had an excellent experience as an undergraduate at Fresno State. I was an agriculture-based major, and had several invaluable opportunities for hands-on experience provided for me during my time at the university. Like most things, I could go through and nitpick every issue I had, but my overall reflection on the university is positive, so I'll abstain. The short of it is: if Fresno State has your desired major, it is a school well worth considering.Collin Parker

It was very nice. But I think the parking lot should be bigger. But we all had a great time we got chance to see my nephew don't play that bad I had an accident after you again or I'm someone hit my car from behind but other than that it was a great time don't have heads just everything is coolFrances

Honestly, this school isn't that bad. Some professors that teach here are the best I've ever had which is great considering I transferred from 2 different schools. Also, I have never met one rude clerk that works here. The new system they implemented to sign up for classes is and has been an inconvenience for all. I understand it takes a while to fix the bugs and all but this has gone on for months now and its very hard to do anything. Thankfully, it seems like things are getting better now. One professor, who I've unfortunately had a negative experience with, will be the only one teaching a vital class for my major this semester. This class is only offered in the early morning but I personally think we should have more options. I have been trying to get a counselor to help me with my classes but they always seem to be busy even mid semester. Still, there are several other resources available to students such as the enrollment express which I've had the pleasure of attending.Your #1 Fan

Great school! Great professors. If you don’t know what professor to take (search them on rate my professor) and see their reviews. I WOULDNT enroll my child into the childcare because the director NANCY COOK is very rude, she makes assumptions and her energy is negative! I toured to enter my son and threw those application papers away when I got home. He will stay at MERRYHILL they’re amazing on trinity !!Prince and Queen

Delta college gives you a lot of choices to explore if you dont know what you want to study. In fact there is a lot of hands-on certificates. In about 12 weeks you can become a certified nurse assistant (CNA). I’m a CNA thanks to this program.JM Evangelista
